Wile E. Coyote managed to chase the Road Runner into the latest trap he got from ACME with both of them being inside a specific cavern that Wile wanted the Roadrunner in; however the speedy bird was quick to recognize the scheme going on and intentionally stepped over the Acme set up. This of course got Wile worked up and the coyote pinpointed the dashing avian to come back, but all the Road-Runner did was just take off and leave him behind. Wile of course slapped his forehead and stepped out of the cave, disappointed that he couldn't even have the trap spring back on him since he did not anticipate this to happen.
