Chapter 6: Newcomers

About six months after Aria's friends joined the pack, the training was over. All had learned to master themselves and their abilities. Being a young werewolf isn't always easy. Newly acquired senses are present, making them hyperaware of their surroundings. And, it's quite complicated to adapt to that. You need good support, so that the adaptation is smooth.

Like every weekend since the end of training, the pack met and took advantage of the time to get to know each other. After all, they didn't know each other, so it's a good time to get to know each other. Of course, they all have very different characters from each other and that can cause tension. Kurt and Aria hope the contact goes well, and so far it's always gone well.

Sure, there's Rachel and Quinn, who can't stand each other, but they seem to be making an effort to avoid each other and let the others get to know each other quietly. They know they can damage relationships if they constantly argue with each other, so they prefer to avoid each other for now. Otherwise, no one else seems to hate each other. It even seems that there are friendships that are created.

Blaine teaches Ezra what he needs to know about the role of Beta, remembering to point out that he hasn't been Beta himself for long and, therefore, he is only bringing the experience he has. Santana, as usual, started flirting lightly with the girls she was interested in, especially Emily, who didn't pay any attention to her. Brittany seems to have bonded with Hanna pretty quickly, starting to talk about her cat and other topics that popped into her head. Finn, meanwhile, was chatting with the boys and other people around him. In general, he doesn't care who he talks to, because the subjects that fascinate him, he loves to share them with everyone.

Kurt and Aria are proud to see that the current passes so well between them. They weren't worried about it going badly, but it was always a possibility. There can always be tensions. Speaking of tensions, Kurt noticed that a new person seems to have been added to Rachel and Quinn's little squabble. And, that person is none other than Alison, who was looking at them with a look that was meant to be superior. Kurt nudged Aria slightly, making her look at what he was showing her.

Aria turned her gaze in the direction Kurt was pointing at her and frowned. She didn't like the look Alison had on at all, because it means she has something in mind. She likes to create arguments, sow discord and watch people bend over backwards to carry out her every will. If someone does not obey her, she does not hesitate to destroy their reputation by creating rumors which multiplied by word of mouth. Then she watches the person being destroyed from the inside and she really seems to take great pleasure in it.

Aria was very clear with her. This kind of behavior must stop and quickly. It is no longer her who is at the head of a small group of girls who were too afraid to stand up to her, given the consequences of those who had done so. No, now she's in a pack led by two Alphas and there's no way she's trying to stand up to them. The consequences can also be disastrous. Alison had only nodded, showing that she had understood. But, it seems to be stronger than her. She had seen, on several occasions, Rachel and Quinn yell at each other and it was too good an opportunity to let her slip away.

Alison wanted to interfere in their business, and she surely wanted to make the situation worse. After all, why deprive yourself? They're already yelling at each other, so throwing up another argument like that wouldn't hurt. Santana already does it and it never did. But, what Alison doesn't know is that Santana knows them. They know what they are capable of and how they react. So doing this without knowing what will happen and without knowing how they will react is more dangerous.

Aria saw Alison get up and walk over to Rachel and Quinn, who were busy glaring at each other. For once, they seemed rather calm and managed to contain the anger they have for each other. Aria went to stop her in her tracks, before she escalated the situation. She just shook her head no, letting her eyes turn red. That's a pretty clear message from an Alpha to one of his Omegas. Alison rolled her eyes, sighed, and resumed her seat. For her, Aria keeps her from having fun. Because it would have been fun to watch them fight and possibly take bets on who was going to win. They have the same level, the same strength, so it is very difficult to determine which of the two can win.

About an hour later, Aria felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. During their reunion, she puts her phone on silent so as not to be disturbed, but she is always reachable. She took it out of her pocket and an unknown number tried to call her. She looked at the area code and saw that it was a number starting with a 44. It was a UK number, probably England. Aria doesn't know anyone living in England, so who could try to reach her? Not wanting to remain in this misunderstanding, she picked up and listened to what the person wanted.

Kurt had seen Aria pick up her phone with a frown, probably not knowing who was calling her. He also saw her face fall, going from incomprehension to surprise then to a slight anger. It seems that she has learned some bad news and that she will probably have to solve a problem that does not suit her. Kurt cocked his head to the side, not understanding what was going on. He waited until Aria hung up to ask her questions, choosing his words well anyway. She looks pissed off and there's no point in pissing her off even more.

"What's going on? Who was on the phone?".

"It was the London Police Chief. Spencer's sister, Melissa, apparently freaked out in the middle of a bar. The police were called, she was subdued and taken to a drunk tank, because he thought she had just had too much to drink. But, that's not it. When they took her to the police station, they had a funny surprise. They saw that she had fangs, claws and orange eyes. I don't think I need to tell you what happened. Anyway, they saw his pack mark and they did some research. Once they identified one of the two Alphas, they contacted him. In this case, it's me, but it could have been you".

"How is it possible? I don't know her, I've never even seen her, but it's not possible that she is a werewolf. If Spencer was human before, it makes sense that she is too. Would she have bitten her without our consent?

"No, I don't think so. I know Spencer. If Melissa had come to see her saying she wanted to become a werewolf, Spencer would have come to find us to explain the situation to us. There, the only option I see is that Melissa took advantage of the bite reflex, to get the bite. In my opinion, she must have taken advantage of Spencer sleeping to do it. She's a deep sleeper, so it couldn't have been too complicated."

"Damn reflex. We told them about it, but maybe we should have given more details. Maybe it wouldn't have happened. Anyway, what's going to happen now ?"

"The only person to be at fault in this story is Mélissa. She chose to do it without accompaniment. As for what happens next, it's simple. I'll let Spencer know and Melissa will be repatriated to Rosewood. I think she has a flight tomorrow morning, so she should be here tomorrow night."

Kurt nodded and followed Aria. Announcing this kind of news is not very easy, even if nothing serious has really happened. According to the London police chief, there were only breakages in this bar, no injuries. If there had been injuries, things would surely have happened differently.

In general, werewolves who have injured or, worse, killed humans are sent to special centers where their cases will be dealt with. In most cases, these centers act as prisons or rehabilitation centers. Behaviorists specializing in werewolves come to analyze them and determine their sentences afterwards. Unfortunately, in some rare cases, werewolves can be put down. Those who are slaughtered without any other form of due process are those considered to be far too dangerous to live with humans. Although hunting werewolves is illegal, killing them in these centers is still legal, although rare. Moreover, it is not uncommon to see werewolves demonstrate against these slaughters considered as barbaric measures to control them. In general, humans do not seek to know or understand the origin of the problem. They just prefer to delete it.

Kurt shook his head at that. The laws in England are not the same as in the United States. The English are more cautious on the subject of werewolves, having established many laws to keep them under control. That's why most English packs prefer to live away from cities, to avoid problems. However, what the English do is respect the laws of other countries. So if a foreign werewolf messed up on English territory, the Alpha will be contacted to get the situation sorted out as soon as possible. The faulty werewolf will also be repatriated to his country of origin. Other consequences may also emanate from the country from which he was repatriated, such as a ban on residence, for example.

Kurt watched Aria break the news and saw Spencer's face fall. It's obvious that she's just as surprised as they are and that she doesn't know how it's possible. She began to think and even wondered if she hadn't had attacks of insomnia which had pushed her to bite her sister. Aria helped her calm down and Spencer knew what happened. In fact, it's just obvious.

"I know what happened. Mélissa has always been jealous of me. Everything I have, she must have it too. So, I'm not surprised that she decided to become a werewolf, too. But what I don't know is how she did it."

Kurt stepped forward, deciding to explain himself the technique that was used. Aria is far too busy keeping her cool to think about anything else. She also seems lost in thought, surely wondering what was going to happen from now on.

"We think she used the bite reflex. We explained it to you at the start of your training, but we did not go into the details. As a reminder, this reflex consists of biting when pressure, even light, is exercised on your mouth. For example, a little tap on the mouth is enough to trigger the reflex. And, I wouldn't be surprised if she asked about that and used it on you. I don't know her, so I don't know what she's capable of, but that's our theory."

"Oh, she's capable of anything, believe me. And I wouldn't be surprised if she did that either. I imagine we'll have an explanation when she gets back from London."

Aria nodded. Kurt found her very quiet, which is not normal. In this kind of situation, where there is a problem to be solved, she always says what she thinks and thinks about the least possible solution. And then she just nods her head, saying nothing. It's obvious that she's surprised and that she's probably still digesting the news, but it's still a rather strange behavior on her part. Kurt nudged her lightly, which seemed to snap her out of the thoughts she was lost in.

"Yeah, she's going home tomorrow, if all goes well. She's still able to try to avoid the flight to continue living her little life. If she didn't tell anyone, it's because she wanted that nobody knows. I imagine that she wanted to live her life quietly in London, but with abilities that will benefit her. But what she does not know is that these abilities are earned. There, she is playing with her life and with that of others. It is dangerous for her to remain without help. And, it slows us down in our process of integrating new Omegas. As you know, there is going to be a new member in the pack. However, I think we're going to have to revise our plans, given the current situation. And, by the way, I don't think that's the only unexpected werewolf. I've come across other person who had a rather suspicious behavior and it would not surprise me if they were also werewolves".

Kurt frowned, not being aware of that. Of course, these are just observations, nothing official. If so, Aria would have let him know. But, it's still weird that there are werewolves without them being informed. If everyone is aware of this reflex and they know who is in the pack, it will be the werewolf epidemic. Not enough to rejoice the people of the city, who, apparently, are not too happy to learn that the pack is growing. In general, people from small towns prefer small packs, because it would be easier to live with, whereas people from big cities don't care about the size of the packs.

Aria caught Kurt's eye at his last sentence and pulled him aside to explain the situation. It's no wonder he had this reaction, because he didn't know about it. Aria has always been much more observant than him, who focuses more on feelings and emotions. But, like all werewolves, Kurt is hyperaware of his surroundings.

"Don't worry, I was going to tell you when we had time. I made these observations this week. One of Hanna's friends, Mona, is acting very weird. At first I just thought that she was like that, I didn't look any further. And then I saw her tense up when the bell rang. I think she's a werewolf and not for a long time. This behavior is typical of a young werewolf who does not master her abilities at all. The slightest noise seems to hurt her ears, she looks around her all the time, as if she hears things that a human cannot hear. Do you agree with me, isn't that normal behavior for a human?

"Indeed, it's not normal, and I think you're right. After all, with the surprise we had today, it wouldn't be surprising to learn that she also used reflexes. We're going to have to go talk to her, to clear up the situation. On my side, I think that there are also unforeseen things. And, I think that it was Brittany who bit them. Brittany has her own way of seeing things. She always thinks of doing good and being of service, even when that's not what the person wanted. In fact, Tina and Kitty, two friends, were talking about how it would be fun to experience being a werewolf for a day, and Brittany heard them. She must have wanted to help them in her own way and bit them."

"Yeah, I think that's it. Either way, we'll train them. We've done it with more people than that, and we're not alone. The pack will help us, especially if there are already affinities. We're already going to avoid tensions and we'll see how it goes. Anyway, we have no other choice. I can't see myself excluding someone from the pack, no matter what he did. Yeah, they're going to have to take responsibility for their actions, well those who voluntarily took advantage of this reflex. The others, it's not their fault. They didn't ask for anything and they find themselves werewolves. There, it will be it's up to us to support them, especially with these new abilities that they will have trouble mastering, especially at the start".

Kurt nodded, agreeing with what Aria was saying. It is very rare for an Alpha to exclude a member of the pack. If a member of a pack has made a mistake, the Alpha will make him understand his mistake and put him in his place. If an Alpha decides to exclude a member of the pack, it means that this one has done something very serious, something that cannot be tolerated. But exclusion from the pack remains an extreme measure that is almost never used.

Kurt shook his head again at the thought and walked over to Blaine, pulling him aside. It was him that Marley came to see. Since Kurt and the majority of the pack graduated, it's Blaine who manages the Omegas who stayed in Lima, while Kurt and Rachel begin their studies in New York. On the side of Aria, the diplomas are not yet planned, the end of the year being in a month or two. And yes, between two states, even neighboring ones, there are differences in terms of academic rhythm, which means that Kurt finds himself graduating earlier than Aria. He decided to follow Rachel to New York, still wanting to keep her under surveillance. Finn has decided to stay in Lima, Blaine has no other choice. He's a year younger, he still has a year to go before he graduates. Brittany, meanwhile, failed her year and has to retake it, although she doesn't seem to mind. She doesn't seem to pay attention to her studies, but she doesn't do it on purpose.

Kurt therefore assigned Blaine to watch over Finn and Brittany, as well as the city of Lima while he was away. Of course, he comes back every weekend to make sure everything is okay and lead the pack to Rosewood, when they go. Kurt and Aria decided that they would see each other every other time in the town where they grew up. So one weekend the pack meeting is in Rosewood and the next weekend it is in Lima and so on. It's more practical and it allows them to visit cities they don't know.

One day, Blaine was quietly sitting in the rehearsal room, reviewing songs he might possibly come up with. At one point, he heard someone knock softly on the door frame. The thump was so weak that if he didn't have werewolf hearing abilities, he wouldn't have heard it. Even before he looked up and gave his attention, he knew the person was nervous. He felt it. Nervousness has always had a special smell for werewolves, allowing them to spot it fairly quickly and act on it.

Blaine looked up and saw Marley standing in the doorway of the room, hesitating on what to do. Blaine has never hidden the fact of being a werewolf, and it has surely created envy. Marley stepped forward and asked him the question that was burning her lips. She wanted to become a werewolf, she wanted the bite and finally be part of a group that loves her for who she is and not for what they would like her to be. Of course, she doesn't know anyone and she knows that might not be possible. After all, pack members can reject her. It's always a possibility and it's what she dreads the most.

She had told it all to Blaine, who rushed to reassure her. He explained to her the procedure to follow when a human asks for the bite. He has no right to do so without talking to the Alphas and getting their explicit permission. He has to ask them, otherwise everyone will go and bite whoever they want and they'll end up with a pack too big for them to handle. Technically, a pack has no size limit, as long as the Alphas have control over each member within it.

Marley nodded, understanding all that involved and what Blaine had to do before granting his request. She told him that she would wait as long as it took and that she would do everything right. She knows how to listen and loves to learn new things. So learning to master all her new abilities shouldn't be too complicated for her.

Blaine frowned at Kurt, feeling the bad news coming. Kurt and Aria had both said yes to including a new member in the pack, but with what just happened, maybe the decision was re-evaluated. Kurt suspected what Blaine was thinking, so he rushed to reassure him.

"Don't worry, Marley is always welcome among us. It's just that we'll have to wait a bit before we bite her, until we discover all the newly bitten werewolves hiding. By the way, I think Tina and Kitty are in the background. You told me that Brittany overheard them talking about being werewolves for a day."

"Yeah, and I wouldn't be surprised if she offered to help them, in her own way, of course. And, I would tell Marley. I wouldn't say she's going to be disappointed, she knows how to show, she was very patient. But, she was really looking forward to it, so...I think it will still be a disappointment, but she knows how to hide it. And, if you need help, I can lead my little investigation. Besides, I should also go talk to Emma. She's been looking weird for a day or two."

"Yeah, I understand that she's disappointed. Still having to wait can be frustrating, but if she's patient, you should be fine. And, you can always help us, you know the new guys better than I do. And, Emma looks weird how? And, it makes me feel weird to call her by her first name. But hey, if she allows us to, why deprive herself?

"She seems to have all the werewolf symptoms, but she never mentioned it in front of Brittany. So I wouldn't be surprised if she was the one who still wanted to do a favor by biting her. It's just a flu that's about to happen. And I, too, feel weird calling him by his first name."

"Yeah, maybe it's just the flu, but you better go check it out anyway. With everything that's going on now, I don't want to let it go."

Blaine nodded, realizing that this situation is a priority. People who allow themselves to get the bite without asking are potential ticking time bombs. There is nothing more dangerous than that.

Blaine pulled out his phone, dialed Marley's number and called him. He must warn her that what is happening and that the process of integration into the pack is slowed down. He doesn't know how long it will take, but surely a few days, or even more. Blaine isn't surprised to hear some kind of disappointment in his voice. Of course, she understands that with the current events, they cannot take care of her in an optimal way. Besides, the first encounter with the pack hadn't been made yet, so she couldn't have been bitten this week. For the new Omega to integrate properly, it is important that he meets the whole pack, to see if the current passes. It may be that, if this first meeting has gone badly, the bite will be refused. The most important thing is that the whole pack agrees to the integration of a new Omega. Otherwise, the cohesion of the pack will no longer be ensured and the Alphas can, potentially, lose their control over them.

In Marley's case, the whole pack had given their express consent and a meeting was going to be arranged. It is also this weekend that they were to see the details of this meeting, but things have changed. They must first investigate how Spencer's sister, Melissa, managed to become a werewolf. Kurt and Aria have their idea, but they're not sure. And, it looks like there are other unforeseen werewolves, further thwarting their plans.

Blaine took care to explain everything to Marley, telling him that he's coming back to Lima on Monday and they can talk more about it. He also added that Kurt will also be there on Monday, to see those who are, apparently, werewolves. This situation does not help anyone, and it will surely be complicated to resolve.

On Monday, Kurt was back in Lima. He got up in a relatively good mood and took a quick shower. Despite his good humor, he is forced to hurry. He has things to do today, he doesn't need to be distracted by what's around him. It's the first time in his life that he has to make such big decisions, and especially to investigate his pack.

Like all werewolves, Alphas or not, Kurt has heard of the phenomenon commonly referred to as unexpected werewolves. These are people who found themselves werewolves without really looking for it, at least in most cases. The others were voluntarily bitten, without really knowing the consequences. And, these people found themselves affiliated with a pack. Because every werewolf is affiliated with a pack, unless they have been kicked out of their pack. So it's up to the Alpha to make the decision to help that person or not, to include them in the pack or not.

Kurt learned his due in those cases, as did Aria. Both have the same opinion on the matter. If the werewolf person has become one without having asked or sought it, it is their duty to accompany him so that his transition goes as smoothly as possible. However, if this person has become so voluntarily and without consulting the Alphas, they have the right to put them in their place and explain the problem to them.

Kurt shook his head, not wanting to remember those boring lessons. He didn't like attending, but he knew it was important. He had to know all that, to be able to manage a pack. Now that he is confronted with this kind of problem, he is happy to have attended them, understanding their importance.

Kurt walked to the front door of his house, took his car keys and sped off to McKinley. He had arranged to meet Blaine there and he didn't want to be late. Blaine must have been there a long time already, because he starts school at 8:30 and Kurt had arranged to meet him at 10.

Arriving at McKinley, Kurt was surprised to see Blaine waiting for him in the parking lot, looking slightly worried. He must have made new observations that worry him. Kurt rushed out of his car, nearly falling and walked over to Blaine. He starts walking, Blaine following him, starting to explain what seems to be worrying him.

"I think you're right about Tina and Kitty. This morning, when it rang, I saw them tense up, as if the sound was piercing their ears. This is typical behavior of someone who has just come from being bitten and unaccustomed to her new abilities. Come to think of it, they had been gone for the past week, obviously with the flu. But, we both know it wasn't the flu. I think they don't understand what's happening to them and they're afraid to tell anyone."

"Yeah, my instincts never fail me. I'm going to go talk to them and see what's up. I understand that they're afraid to open up, but they know I'm a werewolf, an Alpha. They should, perhaps, confide in me and explain to me what is happening to them. From there, I could know what to do. And, for Emma, anything new ? »

"Exactly, I was going to come there. She is not here today. Apparently, she would have stayed at home, to rest. According to Will, she is not sick. She just seemed terrified, as if she had heard bad news. She didn't want to leave the bathroom, so it was impossible to know what exactly she had."

Kurt sighed. One more thing he needs to find out. He finally nodded and walked towards the rehearsal room. He had a long day of questions ahead of him and he was already tired. He started thinking about Aria, who had to do the exact same thing as him. She too must find out if there are any other werewolves and deal with the one who must be repatriated today. They had planned to call each other at the end of the day, to make a report and decide what they were going to do.

Kurt walked into the rehearsal room and saw Tina and Kitty waiting. Obviously Blaine must have asked them to wait here, but without giving them a valid reason. Kurt watched them carefully. They didn't look happy and they had glared at Blaine when he walked into the room. Blaine just answered them with a brief grunt, not wanting to overdo it. He's never really enjoyed using his growl on humans too much, because he doesn't know how they'll take it. But here it is different. They're both werewolves, it's just obvious.

Kurt wasted no time and started asking the questions he wanted answered first. As he suspected, they had discussed being a werewolf for a day in front of Brittany. She offered them the bite and did not listen to their response. She bit them, thinking she was doing them a favor. Since then, they feel strange, they have even been sick, according to them. Kurt sighed again, not at all surprised at their story. He asked Blaine to pick up Brittany, not caring if she was in class or not. He gave brief explanations about the werewolf condition to Tina and Kitty and promised to give them more when the situation stabilized. They both nodded and went back to their respective classes.

Blaine came back with Brittany, who didn't seem to know why she was there. Kurt refrained from yelling at him and just let out a long, low growl. A low growl that stuck in his throat. Brittany's eyes widened, finally understanding why she's here. She remembered what she did and apologized straight up. An Alpha's growl always brings out an Omega's instincts, especially if the growl is meant to warn the Omega that he's done something wrong.

Kurt listened to Brittany's apologies, and understood that she hadn't meant to harm. She had just misunderstood their exchange, believing that they really wanted to become a werewolf. She hadn't heard the fact that they wanted to be, but only for a day. Kurt finally nodded, accepting her apology. He let her go back to her class. She doesn't need to waste any more time than that. He also sent Blaine to his class, deciding to take care of the rest on his own.

Walking down the halls towards the staff room, where he knew Will Schuester was, he bumped into someone. He started to apologize when he heard a small voice answer him. He noticed that it was Marley he had bumped into and he was embarrassed for a few seconds. He didn't expect to meet her and he didn't know what to do. She knows he's one of two Alphas to lead the pack, so she may ask about the delay in his onboarding. And, these are questions that Kurt doesn't have the answers to yet, other than to say that there are a lot of people who have become werewolves, that it was not planned and that they have to deal with everything.

But, Marley didn't ask any questions, she just clung tightly to the strap of her shoulder bag. Kurt noticed that she wasn't in class, but decided not to comment on it to her. Playing Alpha scolding her Omega isn't the best thing to do, and then she seems to be on her way to class. Kurt shifted to let her pass and he saw her darting towards the end of the hallway. She seemed intimidated, but she also had to know that he was busy. She just didn't want to disturb him, so she didn't ask him any questions, just went to her class.

Kurt arrived at the door to the staff room. It was closed, so he took advantage of that to listen. Apart from the sound of the keys of a computer keyboard, he heard no other noises. He also detected the smell of coffee, someone having just poured himself a cup.

Kurt knocked on the door and heard Will invite him in, which he did. He opened the door gingerly and sat down in the chair in front of Will's, crossing his hands on the table. He didn't know how to broach the subject, so he decided to do it without really choosing his words. He wanted answers to his questions, and taking too many tweezers won't help him get them.

"Blaine told me that Emma has been looking weird for a few days. Do you know what's going on?".

Kurt winced a little on the familiarity, not yet too accustomed to doing so. Most of his teachers encouraged him to call them by their first names, finding it much friendlier. Will nodded very slightly as he closed his computer. He pushed him a little further on the table to leave enough room to cross his arms on the table. He took a small bottle of pills out of his pocket.

"I kinda think I know what's going on. Besides, I have something to show you. Emma gave me these with instructions to show them to you. I don't know what it is, or what it's for. All I know is that she was taking them to counter an allergy to the sun. But, for some time, she stopped taking them. She realized that she didn't she's not allergic to the sun. And, since she stopped taking them, she's been doing badly. Finally, she has pains that she can't calm down, especially in her head and the tips of her fingers. I have already thought about taking her to the emergency room, but she categorically refuses. I don't know what to do. I am very worried".

Kurt took the vial from the table and pulled out a pill. He analyzed its shape and color, then read the information on the bottle label. He ended up putting it all back down, letting out a long sigh. He knows what it is and it makes him angry.

"I know what it is, but don't worry, it's not dangerous. At least not in the dosage I see. They are pills of aconitine, a poison extracted from aconite, more known as wolfsbane. From what I have read, it is not pure aconitine. It has been cut with other products, all of which are toxic to werewolves. It has been cut with mistletoe and other plants that I don't know. These kind of pills are prescribed by unscrupulous doctors who want to contain the transformation of a person born werewolf. Moreover, it is often the family who I imagine that these pills were prescribed to her by the family doctor at the request of her parents and that it was done when she was three years old. »

Will shrugged, not knowing the answer to that question. He never asked about these pills, believing them to be simple antihistamines to counter his sun allergy. An allergy that she doesn't have and that her parents had to invent for her to take those damn pills. Kurt continued his explanation, wanting to reassure him.

"Now I know what's going on. She's a werewolf from birth who couldn't make her transformation. In fact, when a werewolf reaches the age of three, the parts of the werewolf that we know, that is to say the fangs, the claws, the ears, the tail and the eyes of the color of the status that she has, appear. And, it is normal. At that age, you can't control them, at least not perfectly. But, around the age of 8, it disappears, because the young werewolf has taken full control of them. In Emma's case, it's the same thing, just years later. But, I would say that she will quickly take control of it. Anyway, we will accompany her in this transition which is, I know, quite painful".

Will nodded, feeling reassured now. He understands what is happening to his wife, why she kept staring at him the first time they saw each other. None of the teachers around them could explain the reaction she had and Kurt was far from suspecting, at that time, that she was a werewolf. Kurt understood what was going through Will's head and rushed to explain.

"Her transformation was contained, yes, but not her instincts. If I'm going by what happened, she got her imprint, and that's good news for both a human and a werewolf. Because it means that your couple will last for life".

When Kurt finished his explanation, he heard the door open with a loud slam, revealing Sue. She was holding a coffee cup, obviously empty. She walked over to the coffee machine without even giving them a look. Kurt shrugged and left the staff room. He had found out what was going on with Emma and how Tina and Kitty ended up as werewolves. He just had to inform Aria of his findings and find out what she had discovered.

In the evening, Kurt was surprised to see Aria arrive in front of his house. A simple call would have sufficed, but it is true that a face-to-face explanation is often better. Kurt invited her in, inwardly thanking his father for going to the restaurant tonight. He would have been far too happy to see Aria again and would have monopolized her the whole evening. They both went to sit in the living room.

Kurt was the first to tell his little investigation. Aria didn't seem surprised at first, until he got to Emma's part. She looked at him with wide eyes, not believing what he was saying. Like him, it was the first time she had heard such a story, although she knew of the existence of these pills. Once Kurt was done recounting his day, he waited for Aria to explain his findings. She took a deep breath, wanting to focus on explaining everything well.

"Melissa was repatriated this morning. I made her understand that what she did is not done and that it is dangerous. She said she understood, so I left her under the supervision of Spencer and Toby, who both yelled at her. Then I started looking for Mona, whom Hanna had found before me. She came to me with her and I was right. She's also a werewolf, who, obviously, was bitten madly. She confessed to having bitten two other people, namely Paige and Lucas. Emily had her impregnation with Paige, and vice versa of course. Suddenly, Alison is jealous and almost got into a fight in the middle of the halls with Paige. Lucas just stood there watching the scene with wide eyes and Mona was smiling because she was happy with what she's doing. And, oh yeah, Mike asked me the bite. Now I feel ridiculous next to your day".

Kurt burst out laughing, amazed at the day Aria had and feeling ridiculous next to him. After calming down, he allowed himself to comment on his day.

"You had a day rich in twists and turns. We end up with 7 unexpected werewolves and with two others who want the bite. Well, for Marley, it had already been planned for some time. She just needed to meet the pack, and Blaine could have bitten her. He told me he wanted to do it, because Marley feels safe with him. He's the only real friend she has. But, your brother Mike, I wasn't expecting it. He never envied you, nor showed any interest in werewolves. So why does he want the bite?"

"I don't really know. Maybe to perform better in sport. In any case, it wouldn't surprise me if it was for that. I would go and find out about his motivation. And as for Marley, it's true that it's a shame to keep her waiting. At the point where we are, I think we can organize the meeting with the pack and then bite her. She will be trained with all the new ones that we have just discovered. »

"Yeah, I think that's the best thing to do. I'll let Blaine know, so he can break the news to Marley. In fact, I ran into her today. While walking without looking ahead, I shoved her. She looked shy, but I could see in her eyes that she was burning to ask me questions. She didn't say anything, she just to go to her class. I think she knows what's going on and she didn't want to bother me. But she deserves to have her questions answered."

Aria nodded, understanding what he was saying. She finished her cup of tea, seeing Kurt do the same. Night was starting to set in, the street lights were starting to come on, and people were starting to come home. Aria yawned and headed for the entrance, surely wanting to go home. Like all werewolves, she has the ability to transform into a wolf, which comes in handy when traveling long distances. She must have done that to come to Lima. Although Pennsylvania and Ohio are neighboring states, the distance is still huge.

Kurt greeted her and let her go home. He was also starting to feel tired and he figured a good night's sleep wouldn't hurt him. They both had an eventful day, so rest is needed. He quickly texted Blaine, telling Marley. She will be happy to know that her integration will not take so long. Finally, not as late as he imagined. The situation was resolved quite quickly, compared to what they expected.

The rest of the week was a bit of a blur. Marley's integration took place, with the whole pack happily accepting it. The logical next step was the bite, which Blaine happily did. Then came the training for the new werewolves. All were applied, because most found themselves like that without having asked for it. Those who got the bite in a very unconventional way, even illegal in werewolf laws, applied a little less. They didn't like being lectured and ordered around.

Blaine took care of Marley personally, because she felt comfortable around him. She knows him a little better than the others and she knows that Kurt and Aria are busy with other rather recalcitrant werewolves. The role of Alpha of the pack is not always relaxing. They are the ones who mainly intervene when there is a conflict. They are the ones who settle these same conflicts and separate those who started them, not wanting it to happen again. If they have the opportunity, the Betas also intervene to settle conflicts and calm tensions.

In short, the weeks following the discovery of new werewolves were quite hectic. But, everything went very well. Emma got used to this new living condition very well, once she realized it and stopped resenting her parents. It's understandable that she's angry with them, but she mustn't let that anger take over and prevent her from learning to control herself and all of her newfound abilities.

Once all these difficulties passed, they were able to resume their lives. Kurt returned to New York, wanting to follow Rachel on her New York adventure. He mainly took care of keeping a good contact with the packs that live in this city. An incident happens quickly, and it's dangerous, especially if it's a werewolf on a territory that is not his.

On the whole, everyone has resumed their little life. Pack meetings are always on weekends and there were no problems on the horizon. But, one fine day, Kurt and Aria both received the same message. A cry for help from a certain Scott McCall.
