One month later, back in the city of Grimsborough, Jones was sitting inside the police car eating doughnuts and drinking a cup of coffee, he was on police duty again and began to look for situations to deal with. Due to being cursed with spams and calamari rings, his heartbeat inside despite being single as a result of divorce and he couldn't stop thinking about the girl of his dreams. Just then, he looked up and saw people running and screaming from the lounge bar in fear and realized the crime was afoot, he opened the door, exited it, and rushed off to stop the criminals. At the same time, a police force arrived and officers exited the vehicles and rushed toward the lounge bar to aid Jones. Inside the lounge bar, there was a crew of pirates plundering and wrecking havoc, the captain walked to the lounge couch, reached it, and sat on it while drinking a bottle of rum. Suddenly, Jones and the police force broke in and pointed firearms at the pirates, attempting to arrest them.

"David Jeremiah Jones, you gotta be kidding me." shocked Captain Read, taking out a pistol and attempting to shoot Jones to death but Jones dodged, rushed toward him, and punched him with his fist, knocking him unconscious.

"This is for trying to rob the city!" shouted Jones angrily, but was shot in the back by one of the pirates and collapsed on the wounded.

Hours later, Jones was lying on his bed in the hospital room, his upper body was bandaged and tended to by a nurse looking at him in worry about his health conditions, knowing he couldn't live as long as he could. Just then, an older woman in her late sixties came into the hospital room along with her family after hearing her son was fatally shot in the back by a pirate but little did they know that Jones was secretly in love with a girl of his dreams. Seeing her son on the verge of pain, the mother sadly walked to the chair, sat on it, and looked at him in worry and sorrow, shedding tears in despair while her husband approached and comforted her, knowing that their son might survive on his own. Unbeknownst to them, all of a sudden, the gunshot wound on Jones' back suddenly healed and took one week to heal for 24 hrs for him to recover.

"I'm sorry, Mom because I was trying to say." apologized Jones.

"Tell me what happened," shouted the mother angrily but Jones painfully denied it and looked away sadly.

Jones' POV: "It took a week to recover from my wounds. I was so desperate that I was too late to cure my true love feeling and now I have to do it again. So the worst case, I never eat another bite of spams and calamari rings for sure I guess."

One week later, at the dock, a young dock worker, Veronica Waygetter does her duty and works at the dock with other workers to earn her salary per month in the hope of providing for her family's needs but she is unaware that her family had wreaked havoc in the lounge bar last week although her uncle was arrested by a police force along with his crew, she was worried about her family issues, knowing all the chaos and troubles nearly coasted them one by one but decided to work hard to bail her uncle fast as she can or the family will be ruined. Later that dusk, after the shifts, Veronica rushed out of the dockyard, ran off, and raced into the city, heading somewhere to get home to see her family. At the police department, Jones was sitting on the stairs and gazing at the sky sadly, he deeply sighed and sniffled tearfully until he spotted the familiar woman rushing up to him and approaching him, he got up and ran away in fear, confusing her.

"David, please help me." pleaded Veronica.

"No, go away." refused Jones, huddling away from Veronica.

"I'm really sorry about your marriage, I heard your mother worried about you and your wife Charlotte," said Veronica.

"I know, Arghh! I can't believe this, it's all my fault. My marriage is ruined because of my stress and I couldn't get a chance to be with my wife." sighed Jones tearfully, blaming himself for ruining his marriage with his ex-wife.

"Ah, don't blame yourself. I felt very sorry for you always and I would have seen a police officer you were once before. My family used to struggle to get together but they don't know better." consoled Veronica, patting Jones' back.

"I know. Maybe I'll go home now," said Jones, getting up and walking away sorrowfully.

In the house, Veronica was lying on the bed and staring at the ceiling gloomily over her uncle being arrested for his crimes, she will find a way to free him and his crew once and for all, swearing to make things right for them. Later, the next morning, Veronica returned to work and spent a few hours doing labor and working with the dockworkers to earn enough salaries to bail her uncle and the crew, hoping that they would work this out and abandon their criminal hobby. A few hours later, Veronica was walking on the street with the salary she got to bail her uncle and the crew, saving them from the trouble they caused. As she was walking down the street on her way to her apartment, Veronica pulled out a police badge, implying that she worked for the police force, she used to appreciate Jones' strong heroic acts of justice, taking fondness of him when she grew closer to him and cared for him like a good friend, eventually grew true feelings for him. Then, she came across the police department and looked up at the building, she knew that Jones was working so hard for the people and realized that if wasn't for him, the crimes wouldn't happened.

"Ahhh... I hope David was here for me." sighed Veronica, she marched toward the entrance and went inside the department. On the third floor, Jones was working and doing his assignments in his office, he looked up and saw Veronics rushed toward him and reached him.

"David!" exclaimed Veronica, approaching Jones in time.

"Vera? What are you doing here?" thought Jones, stacking all of the paperwork and putting it on the table.

"I just wanted to say something to you," explained Veronica.

"Okay," replied Jones, getting up from the chair and the two walked off while Veronica unknowingly reached her hand into her pocket and pulled an astrolabe, "Huh?" he thought.

"I got something for you to remember." smiled Veronica, handing his astrolabe to him and he reached it to retrieve it.

"My astrolabe!" exclaimed Jones.

"I know because your grandpa was an astrologer before and he is known for horoscopes and astrology," said Veronica, claiming that she had known Jones's grandfather ever since, "Please, I wanna live with you," she asked Jones.

"Okay sure," replied Jones.

"Thanks, but I need to pack my things from my old home first." giggled Veronica.

"What?" thought Jones.

That night, in the Waygetter residence located in a suburban neighborhood, Veronica walked inside the house and got in, she was in her bedroom with a red, steel, but stainless empty luggage in her bed, then went over to the closet, opened it, collected the clothing and accessories, gathered them all, marched to the bed and loaded them properly. Next, Veronica headed out of her bedroom, marched to the bathroom, approached the cabinet mirror, opened it, took all of the hygiene items, went out, returned to the bedroom, and then inside the luggage, spending her time assembling all of her belongings before she zips it tight and sealed. Meanwhile, a middle-aged mother came into her house with a grocery bag she got but heard what her daughter was doing, she walked upstairs, went to the hallways, and marched into her bedroom, she looked up and was so suspicious to see her daughter packing her things and leaving for her friend and roommate, she was worried about her because she was wary of Jones and her family ever since, she deeply sighed in serious mood, walked into the bedroom, and approached her daughter just as she was done packing her things into her luggage.

"Veronica Shannon Waygetter, are you packing your things? Where are you going? Your uncle has been arrested again?" asked Mrs. Waygetter, she was confused when Veronica pulled the luggage out of the bed with her hand.

"Mom, I'm going to stay with David," said Veronica.

"What?" gasped Mrs. Waygetter.

"I know, I felt sorry for him but I will make him happy," said Veronica.

"Veronica!" thought Mrs. Waygetter, worried about Veronica leaving to be with Jones.

"I know, Mom. I have to go now," said Veronica, she walked toward the exit of the bedroom with her mother was inside the room and went to the living room where the door was located nearby, she marched to the door and opened it before she headed out of the house, leaving her mother behind as the dog and the cat come up and follow Veronica.

In the house, inside the living room, Jones was preparing and making the bed alone and lonely, he heard a doorbell ring just before he finished making the bed. He walked out of the bedroom, marched downstairs, walked to the door, and opened it to see Veronica arrived with her luggage and came to stay with him to keep him company. Later in the dining room, Jones and Veronica are eating their supper using utensils, Jones is sipping a bowl of pumpkin soup with a spoon, he looks up and gasps to see Veronica gobbling up her food, he remembers that she had table manners since their first meeting. Veronica sighed, awkwardly grabbed the utensils, and ate the food properly, then the two put the utensils down the utensils, lifted the bowls, and sipped the soups. Later, Jones and Veronica are sitting on the couch and watching a romance movie. As they were eating a bowl of popcorn, a cat and a dog approached them and joined them, Jones turned around and spotted the cat, he shrieked in fear and huddled Veronica behind as she laughed at him.

The next day, Jones and Veronica are at the park and they begin to have a walk together and hold hands gently, they are accompanied by the cat and the dog with each collar attached to the leashes that Veronica was holding. Walking down, Jones spotted a pond full of ducks swimming around and quacking cheerfully and he laughed cheerfully, he turned around and saw Veronica hearing a scream, they spotted a kidnapper capturing a little girl in his arms. Sensing the danger, Veronica took out a shuriken, threw it toward the kidnapped, and struck him fatally, dropping the little girl and saving her, the crowds looked at her and cheered for her, earning praise from them. Later that night, back at the house, Jones was in the bedroom and sitting on the bed, he was wearing a light blue pajama suit just as Veronica came in a black lingerie dress, making him blush and look away nervously, she walked to the bed, leaped on the mattress, crawled toward Jones, and laid on top of him, the two stared at their eyes and smiled before kissing and embracing passionately.

The next morning, Jones and Veronica were cuddling with each other on the bed, she woke up and felt sick, leaping from the bed and rushing to the bathroom where she puked in the toilet. Later that evening, Jones was cleaning the kitchen with cleaning tools and Veronica came up with a pharmacy bag, she walked upstairs, rushed to the bathroom, opened it, entered it, and closed it. She was sitting on the toilet and at the pregnancy test, she was surprised and realized that she was pregnant with Jones' child but denied it for a while. Downstairs, Veronica walked down and saw Jones come up with movie tickets, making her nervous, and looked away. Later in the movie theatre, Jones and Veronica are watching a pirate swashbuckler although Veronica is too scared to tell him the truth. In the film that took place in the 1600s, there was a battle between a female pirate and a Filipino soldier in a sword fight but they embrace and kiss. With no other choice, she sighed and leaned over Jones' ear, quietly whispering to him.

"David...I'm pregnant but don't tell my uncle about that," explained Veronica," she confessed that she was pregnant, shocking him to pause and freeze.

"Wait! What, you're pregnant...with the child!" he panicked, he placed his hand on Veronica's belly and touched it, sensing that Veronica was pregnant with the child.

Jones' POV: "It seems everything is fine but I learned that she was pregnant with a child I never had, I paused and froze in shock that I could not move for a bit."

Back at the house, the following morning, Jones was sitting in the corner of the bedroom in his boxers and gritting his teeth in horror, he was rocking back and forth upon hearing Veronica's confession that she was pregnant with his child, he blamed himself for eating spams and calamari rings despite the chefs' warnings about the love spell that affects him to confessed his feeling for Veronica. Downstairs, Jones walked the living room, wearing his police uniform although he was tying his necktie as he reached the living room. There was a bottle of special condiment on the table, revealed to be the antidote to the effect of spam and calamari rings, Jones walked to it, grabbed it, and held it, knowing that there was still hope to fix his mistakes but then a doorbell ring and turned around, walking to the door and opening it, he gasped and saw his mother and Ramirez rarely came to visit him.

"David Jeremiah Jones, how are you?" asked Mrs. Jones worriedly.

"Hey buddy, what that?" asked Ramirez, he was pulled into the house immediately by Jones.

"David?" thought Mrs. Jones.

"You gotta help me!" pleaded Jones fearfully.

"What's the matter?" questioned Ramirez confused, he saw Jones holding a bottle of condiment in his hand, "Jones? What is going on?"

"You know what, I need to cure myself and end my love for Vera before her uncle and crew come back," explained Jones, unaware that he forgot to lock the door when his mother came inside in fury.

"David Jeremiah Jones! What are you thinking!" shouted Mrs. Jones. Hearing his mother's angry questions, Jones frowned stressfully and deeply sighed in dismay, walking to his mother bravely.

"Mom, the truth is..." he tilted his head and frowned sadly, explaining to his mother, "Veronica is pregnant with my baby," he admitted to his mother.

"What!" shocked Mrs. Jones, horrified by her son's confession that he was going to bear the pirate captain's niece's child.

"I know. Now you realize my problem, that's why. I didn't know Veronica was pregnant with her baby and Mr. Read would hurt me physically." explained Jones worriedly.

"Wait a minute, she was pregnant with your baby!" gaped Ramirez, he was shocked that Jones' secret was out and knew that Veronica was pregnant with Jones's baby.

"David Jeremiah Jones! What have you done!" berated Mrs. Jones angrily.

"Mom, I can explain-" shuddered Jones, sweating anxiously.

"Oh my goodness, how did that make poor girl bring a to disgrace her family." panicked Mrs. Jones.

"Oh, I admit, because of the reason why I'm hiding my secret from you and our family, Mom. But the thing is: Veronica's pregnant with my baby," said Jones sadly.

"David! You realize what you just did, if his family finds out she wasn't married to someone else, we will be doomed and condemned!" explained Mrs. Jones.

"Oh Lord..." shuddered Jones fearfully.

Two months later, at the Grimsborough Prison full of convicts including Captain Read who was enjoying peaceful relaxation in his prison cell to cope with his crime problems, he was wearing an orange prison jumpsuit due to his criminal habits of terrorizing the city recklessly, then the bar door opened and he leaped from the bed, walking out of the prison cell. In the prison phone booth where all of the criminals can contact their loved ones and friends through the phones, Captain Read came up, walked to the phone booth, sat on the seat, grabbed the phone, placed it on his ear, and looked up to see his sister and niblings appeared to pay a visit to him although Veronica is now two-month pregnant with Jones and touched her belly with her anxiously, knowing that her uncle would be mad at Jones. At the same time, Mrs. Waygetter and her son were very upset by the news that Veronica was pregnant with Jones' child, devastating and stressing them badly. Seeing some disappointment in their faces, Captain Read was confused and shocked, then looking at his niece touching her belly with her hand.

"Lass, lad, where have you both been so long? Why is she touching her belly? Laura" asked Captain Read confusingly.

"Oh, I admit, Gregory! My daughter, your niece was two months pregnant with the child of the cop you despised," explained Laura angrily, revealing that Veronica was pregnant with Jones' child.

"Noooo..." shuddered Captain Read disgustingly and horrifiedly when he knew that someone had made his niece pregnant, he gritted his teeth and his face turned red in fury, vowing to avenge his niece and get rid of the child's father once and for all, "I'm gonna make him pay for what he did to my niece!" he gritted in fury.

Jones' POV: "I can't believe this is all my fault and I got him angry that I made Veronica pregnant with my kid although I denied it all because of me. In that case, I decided to ask my Dad or Grandpa for some advice, hoping that nothing would happen.

Back in the house that night, Jones was sitting on the couch in front of the TV and watching a horror movie alone but turned off the TV with a remote control, got up from the couch, and walked off in worry. In the attic, Jones started practicing his sword skills with his broomstick, swinging and whacking furiously but it didn't work, he kept stressed out about his future since his past as a former vigilante, Red Masque haunted him and cost him dearly, he became exhausted and collapsed on the floor, passing out from his sword fighting practice. Meanwhile, in the astrology room full of astronomy items, and research books, there was a dying and aging old astrologer studying and researching a horoscope although he was getting sick and tired of hard work, knowing that his time had come to an end if his grandson doesn't had a child to take over and look after his astrologer traditions once he passes on. All of a sudden, his grandson came inside the astrology room in an anxious state for the moment which interrupted his grandfather's study.

"Grandpa," asked Jones.

"Gah!" shocked Grandpa Jones, clenching his chest with his hand in pain and turning around to see his grandson, "David, I thought you shouldn't know what happened. I wonder who is in charge now. I'm obviously hoping that someone is going to take over my traditions although it was going to be passed down to your child," said Grandpa Jones but saw his grandson pale.

"Uhhhhh..." shuddered Jones anxiously.

"What's the matter?" asked Grandpa Jones confusedly.

"Sorry, but I have a problem," mumbled Jones.

"Are you okay?" asked Grandpa Jones, but this angered his grandson out of his stress as his face turned red with fury.

"Grandpa, you're behind this and you ruined my chance of being with my Charlotte!" shouted Jones furiously.

"What!" shocked Grandpa Jones, Jones took out a takeout box of spam and calamari rings and slammed it to the table in front of his grandfather.

"It was you who made that stupid dish the chefs have! I'm having a problem with that! I was being haunted by my true love feeling for Veronica Waygetter! I was helpless to control myself." shouted Jones.

"Mmmm, I never heard that before." denied Grandpa Jones.

"What! You said that the future prediction prophesized that I will bore two children, one is from a legendary pirate and the other will be a guardian angel!" reminded Jones angrily, but this spoke to Grandpa Jones all of a sudden.

"Wait, it did happen!" gasped Grandpa Jones, upon hearing his grandson's explanation that he was going to bore Veronica's baby someday, he joyfully smirked and finally admitted to his grandson, "Right, it was part of my plan to ensure our bloodline and traditions to continue with our legacy with peace, justice, and harmony," he explained to Jones.

"But how! Please, there has to be a way to make a better decision for the future to set things right?" begged Jones tearfully.

"There is," smirked Grandpa Jones, figuring out what to do with his plan to fulfill the prophecy and he remembered the gourmet food he tasted a few years ago before his family.

"Of course, I once tasted the spam and calamari rings back when I was young, I made a gourmet food that brings true love instincts to anyone whose love is ruined by tragic problems to express their true love," answered Grandpa Jones.

"And how did you use the secret sauce antidote?" asked Jones.

"Oh I see but I managed to avoid the love spells effect from the spam and calamari rings by dipping them with secret antidote sauce, it required those who have their favorite foods, even mine but it will not work until you rectify your family problems," explained Grandpa Jones.

"Oh no..." sighed Jones helplessly.

"So tell me what happened to the girl of your dream speak of," questioned Grandpa Jones.

"But I accidentally confessed my love for her, even though she was pregnant with my child but I cannot figure out who could be," explained Jones, but Grandpa Jones had a better solution to the family problem, he handed a photo of a young obstetrician with black hair and eyes wearing a doctor uniform beside her grandfather who is also an astrologer.

"Ask Jenna Freeman," said Grandpa Jones.

"Who is she?" asked Jones.

"There have always been kind-hearted and helpful Filipino immigrants living in the United States to help those in need, they are the only ones who can help you. and that's how they were also the astrologer and one of them can be an astrologer," said Grandpa Jones, telling his grandson that Jenna Freeman was good at predicting the solutions through her psychic vision via her grandfather's astronomy and traditions.

"What!" thought Jones.

"Scott, I know I was impressed by that young girl and I knew how she used her grandfather's astronomy and traditions because her family was local faith healers who used folk medicine to help the people, she can predict the identity of your child for sure." Jones got an idea to help his grandson identify the babies they need to know.

"Excuse me, where to talk to her?" asked Jones.

"Don't worry, she and her family will come for us," explained Grandpa Jones, taking a phone number card and handing it to Jones.

"Okay." sighed Jones dismayed.

For the next month, back at Jones's house, Veronica was three months pregnant with her child, she was standing in front of a mirror, holding her back, and looking at herself, she touched her belly and worried about her child, she took a deep breath and sighed calmly. In the living room, Veronica was sitting on the couch, watching a horror movie, and eating a bowl of fried noodles, then she drank a bottle of Pretty Cola before she belched loudly. The next morning, Veronica was lying on the mattress. wearing the black dress and caressing her belly again, she woke up, yawned, and looked at her belly, she was worried that her family would be upset because she didn't know what happened to her. Just then, Jones came into the bedroom, walked to Veronica, leaned his head to her belly, placed his ear on her, and listened to the belly if their child was a boy or a girl, he touched her belly and stroked it gently, making him sweat anxiously.

Jones' POV: "As I was saying, before that, I need to figure out what gender, it is boy or girl I guess."

"I hope they're boys or girls." wondered Jones.

"Awwww, I hope you would be a great father because he was very upset about it, one day, we will have a daughter named after my ancestor Mary Read," said Veronica.

"Well." wondered Jones, he walked to the window and looked down, he gasped and saw that Jenna and her family arrived in their car waving their hands at him through the windows of the car, "Oh no." he gulped in dismay. In a panic, Jones rushed out of the bedroom, ran downstairs, raced to the door, and opened it for the Freeman family.

"Kamusta po, Ako si Jenna Freeman." greeted Jenna.

"Hi, Jenna, you already know me." greeted Jones.

"Hi, I hope you and Veronica are gonna get married someday. I know how I'm gonna help you earn money by starting our family's folk traditions." said the old man.

"What! No!" said Jones awkwardly.

"No, you don't do that, Lolo." scolded Jenna, nudging her grandfather with her elbow.

"What a point." shrugged the old man.

"This is Lolo Jack, he's the faith healer and witch doctor," said Jenna.

"Hi, Lolo Jack." greeted Jones.

"Fine by me, I'm so excited that I was a matchmaker back in my youth, I'm gonna find a way to plan a wedding to celebrate," said Lolo Jack.

"You gotta be kidding me." grumped Jones, crossing his arms and scoffing in dismay.

"David!" called Veronica, still lying on the bed, then she saw Jones and the Freeman family come in.

"Oh, look it here. Lucky me. Look like we got a client to help." excited Lolo Jack.

"I just want to put my child in adoption," suggested Veronica.

"No, you cannot, your child doesn't want you to abandon him or her for adoption," warned Jenna, refusing Veronica's plan to leave her child for adoption.

"No, I can't," said Veronica.

"Why not?" shrugged Jenna confusedly.

"If I gave birth to David's child, my uncle would physically kill you all," explained Veronica.

"Calm down, there's nothing to be afraid of, I'll deal with it." comforted Lolo Jack.

"Mr. Freeman, I can't, I'll end up dead meat," warned Jones scared for his life.

"Come on, what the worst that could happen." consoled Lolo Jack, he took out a talisman and walked to Veronica's belly, placed on it, detecting and sensing her belly, it eventually confirmed that she was pregnant with Jones' child.

"Ahhhh!" screamed Jones frantically, placing his hands to his head in fear, "We're doomed, he's gonna murder us!" he panicked, running around the bedroom.

"Don't worry sir, I'll handle her family," said Lolo Jack determinedly, Jones stopped running and stood still.

"No...I wouldn't." worried Scott, but Jenna and her family ignored his warning about Captain Read's wrath.

"Relax, we are professionals," said Jenna, she opened the door and walked away along with her family.

"What if there are no protections and anybody? I hope Mr. Read wouldn't like that." worried Jones.

"Mister, there's nothing to be afraid of." comforted Lolo Jack, walking away all alone.

"Okay." gulped Jones anxiously.

"David, now what?" asked Veronica.

"I promise that you'll be fine as long we will have a child on our own," said Jones.

Jones' POV: "Ever since I was afraid of the consequences of Veronica's pregnancy with my child. Then a family of faith healers will come back for the moment in case there is the only way I need."

"David!" called Mrs. Jones, entering the room in worry and running to her son, "Honey, what good news?" she questioned.

"I manage to enlist the Freeman for advice. Trust me, I need to take Veronica with us," said Jones.

"Okay!" angered Mrs. Jones.
