Episode 6 - Girl Power
Summary: Umbra creates a Jinn that manages to paralyse the male Rangers. Now it's up to Leni and Jordan to drain the jinn's energy before she goes haywire.
On the Sky Temple grounds, all of the rangers were busy doing their training.
Drake was practising his stances on thin logs, making sure his footwork was in place as he shifted his hands and arms into different positions.
Shade was by a wooden practice dummy, punching and kicking while avoiding the bits of wood sticking out, increasing his speed as he did.
Lincoln was currently running along a track with weights strapped to his arms, legs and back, dodging bolts firing his way.
Leni was performing a spinning dance with her arms, moving like a ballerina with a blindfold on as she heard the sounds of creaking coming towards her, dodging swinging blades as they came to him.
Finally, Jordan was on a platform with holes as she reacted to each one shooting a log out each second.
WIndform was watching with his arms crossed, nodding as he watched them train. They were making progress.
"Alright! Enough!" He called as the five stopped what they were doing and knelt in front of Windform.
"You have done well with your training but there are still some things that could be improved."
He then looked at each one.
"Drake. Good footwork but you are too stiff. Loosen up and have some agility with your style."
"Leni. Good agility and use of senses but you need to be able to block when you can't dodge."
"Jordan. Good reflexes but think before you react. You may end up striking to early.
"Lincoln. You're getting stronger and your analytical prowess is improving but don't spend too much time thinking about what to do next. Improvise and think on your feet."
"Shade. Power is increasing but don't rush. Plan ahead and know when to strike."
All five nodded their heads as they took in the feedback.
"Now time to spar. Leni and Jordan. You'll go first."
Both nodded as they faced each other and got into a combat stance. Leni went first and did a low sweep to which Jordan backflipped out of the way before performing a jump kick to her sternum. Leni blocked with her right hand and threw her back before performing a diving punch to the young girl's temple, knocking her back.
Slightly disoriented, Jordan just barely dodged a right cross from the taller girl to which Jordan responded with a right palm strike to her stomach knocking the wind. She then smacked both hands onto the side of her head, causing her to lose balance before performing a flying kick to Leni's chest, sending her to the ground.
"ENOUGH!" Windform announced as the two paused their fight.
"Excellent work. I haven't seen you fight as intensely before." Windform complimented at their fight.
"Well after seeing how hard the boys fought that last Jinn, we just wanted to catch up and match them," Jordan said with a smile.
"Hey, come now. We only fought as hard to rescue you guys. The fact that you just want to be equals just shows you are fighting for all the right reasons." Drake said with a smile.
"Yeah. Don't push yourself. You'll get stronger at your own pace." Shade added.
"Plus, all you need is the right motivation." Lincoln concluded as the three smiled in appreciation.
Suddenly the alarm went off.
"Looks like we'll see if your training is paying off! Trouble near the mall! Go, Ranger Go!"
"Right!"
Getting into a line they activated their morphers.
"It's morphing time!" Drake announced as they activated their morphers. The beaks opened as they crossed their arms
"AVIAN STRIKE!"
They brought their hands to the side before pointing two left fingers into the air.
"IT'S TIME TO FLY!"
The morphing screen split into five with Drake at the centre, Leni in the top left, Shade in the top right, Jordan at the bottom left and Lincoln at the bottom right as they flew through their coloured skies and morphed into their outfits.
An army of Jynxers was busy terrorising the citizens near the building, with Shadowshot, Hunterror and Umbra assisting them.
"Yes! Run! The hunt is more fun when they run!" Hunterror roared as he shot from his blowpipe, sending explosive darts to the screaming crowd.
"Calm down, Hunterror. We want to savour the moment." Shadowshot ordered as he shot over his shoulder which caused a car to explode.
"Don't bother, Polari. He is all brawn, no brain." Umbra mocked with a chuckle as she charged energy in one of her katanas and launched a wave of energy at a building, all the while the Jynxers were swarming the area, chasing civilians.
Hunterror heard this and growled, machete pointed at her.
"What was that?!" He yelled but Umbra unsheathed her other katana and pointed it at him.
"What's wrong? Too stupid to understand?" She mocked.
"When this is over, I will skin you alive and mount you over the pits!" Hunterror roared.
But Shadowshot intervened.
"Enough! Quit arguing like children! We have a job and need to do it before…!"
"Hey Jinn generals!"
Shadowshot groaned as he facepalmed.
"...they show up."
All three generals faced the rangers as they had their sabres out.
"Your time of violence ends here!" Lincoln declared in a heroic tone. While striking a pose
Shade just stared at him.
"Dude. What cheesy, 80s, superhero cartoon did you steal that line from?"
"Oh, c'mon! I'm a hero! Let me have this!" Lincoln whined a bit.
"We do a ranger roll call when we face a bruiser! How is this any different?!"
"It's like I'm living in a comic book! They say heroic lines like that all the time!"
"Guys!" Drake and Leni said which stopped their argument.
"We'll talk about this later." Shade said as they got into position. Drake shook his head at that.
"Now, where were we?" Drake said as they all got into fighting stances.
The three jinns also got into position with an army of Jynxers surrounding them.
"I believe it is where we fight. Jynxers! Attack!" Shadowshot ordered as the army and the three generals rushed towards them.
"Lincoln and Jordan! Take care of the Jynxers!" Drake ordered.
"Right!" Both pre-teens said as they ran towards them.
"Leni, take on Hunterror! Your agility will be useful with how bulky he is!"
"Right! I've been meaning to destroy that hideous poncho of his anyways!" Leni said as her sabre met the machete.
"Shade, take on Umbra! Think of it as training your fighting style!"
"On it! Alright, lady. Let's dance!" Shade said, drawing his blaster as he began shooting at the dancing female.
"That just leaves you and me," Shadowshot said in a serious tone, winding the chambers of his revolvers.
"That's right. Let's do this." Drake said as he rushed with his sabre out, bringing it down as Polari crossed them to block the attack.
Taking a few steps back he began to fire, black energy bullets flying out of the chamber while Drake dodged each one.
"Woah! I'm pretty sure there are laws against those guns!" Drake said.
"Not against those wielded by jinns, fool!" Shadowshot countered as he landed a lucky hit on his shoulder, knocking him off course.
"He has a point there," Drake muttered to himself, before getting up and firing his blaster
With Leni, Hunterror was feeling a headache coming along with Leni dancing around. With each movement, his darts were flying past the Teal Ranger.
"Stay still, you brat!" He roared.
"But then you'll hit me." She said as she bent backwards.
"That's the idea! Honestly, you're as brain dead as that joke of an assassin!" He yelled as he then drew a shotgun pistol from his bandolier and fired bullets from it.
Meanwhile, Umbra had overheard what Hunterror had said and was fuming.
"What did that blowhard say?!" She yelled but was interrupted by Shade punching her in the jaw.
"Eyes on the prize, lady!" Shade said as he threw another punch to the face but was blocked by Umbra's arm before she kicked him back. She then held her katana and scraped it along the ground as Shade flipped back to dodge it. He then had to dodge another few swings before breaking out his blaster to shoot her, all of which were blocked by her katanas.
"How about I bring out the bad news?" Shade said as he clicked the button on his buckle and held his hand out to the sky.
"AVIAN WEAPON! DESCEND FROM ABOVE!"
A steam of shadow energy descended from above, covering his hand. He then pulled out his scythe, swinging it below as he crouched with the weapon resting on his shoulder.
"Raven Scythe!"
Soon Shade began to spin the scythe around his body, trying to swipe with the blade. Umbra soon threw a few knives at him to which they were deflected. He then pole vaulted and brought the blade down, pointing first like an axe.
"Going down!"
Umbra couldn't dodge and was nicked by the blade. Hunterror saw this and groaned.
"Honestly, can't you do anything right? Assassin my behind!" He growled, causing Umbra to shoot up and punch him on the shoulder.
"Oh, like you can do better?! You haven't hit the teal ranger yet!" She snarled.
"She's too frisky! What's your excuse?! The street rat giving you a hard time?! He has no discipline!"
"Well, you distracted me with your comment!"
"Oh, it's my fault now is it?!"
"To a degree? Yes!"
Jordan had just slashed a Jynxer when she heard the commotion.
"Eesh, get a load of that."
Lincoln had just flipped a Jynxer over as he also saw the fight.
"So much for teamwork." He remarked
Shade just looked at the argument with a deadpanned look, as he decided to sit down and watch it play out.
"Huh. Look at that. Lunch and a show."
Shadowshot saw this too and groaned.
"Hold on. I have to take care of this."
He then left and went to the two arguing Jinns.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE I HAVE TO WORK WITH YOU!"
"SAME HERE!"
Shadowshoti then pistol-whipped them both.
"Will you idiots calm down?! YOu're going to…!"
"Hey, bozos!"
Soon all of the Rangers pointed their blasters at them.
"Give them an opportunity…' He deadpanned before rubbing his temple. 'I'm surrounded by idiots."
"We'll give you two choices: Surrender or get blasted," Jordan said.
"How about option three?" Shadowshot said as he opened a portal, shoving the two in. He then jumped as the portal closed.
"Or they could do that." Shade remarked as they de-morphed.
"What was that all about?" Leni asked.
"I think there's trouble in paradise," Lincoln answered.
"Those two really don't like each other," Shade added his two cents.
"And what did Umbra mean by thanks to his comment?" Jordan said with a hand under her chin in contemplation.
"Maybe he said something that offended her?" Drake said.
They all agreed that it wasn't their business and decided to head off back to the Sky Temple.
At the temple of Darkness, Infectora was sitting down with his legs crossed, simmering in anger as he glared at the two.
"I want a straight answer. What? Happened?!" He growled in a low tone.
"Blame Umbra! Her lack of skill made us retreat!" Hunterror snapped as he glared at the assassin.
"Oh, you're one to talk! For a big time hunter, you kept on missing that ranger!" Umbra snapped.
"Oh, and you getting distracted and blindsided by the black ranger was my fault?!"
"Yeah! Because of your little comment!"
"Please! All you do is sneak around! Why don't you try and go out there and launch a frontal assault like a real warrior!"
Umbra, having shot up, having enough and yelled.
"MAYBE I WILL!"
She then stormed out of the temple.
"Honestly, how pathetic…" Hunterror grumbled, but then he felt the miasma of Infectora.
"Hunterror…YOU IDIOT!"
The hunter jinn turned around and saw his master glaring at him, furious.
"I DON'T NEED MY GENERALS ARGUING AGAINST EACH OTHER IF I WANT TO TAKE DOWN AVIAS AND HIS BIRD-BRAINED RANGERS!"
Infectora stood up as he began to gather miasma into the blade of his glaive.
"Perhaps a lesson in discipline is in order."
With a downward slash, Hunterror was sent to the back of the temple as Infectora continued to stomp towards him.
"Shadowshot. Go and find Umbra. I don't want her to get into trouble. I'll administer some discipline to this twit."
The cowboy bowed.
"It shall be done." He said as he went through the portal.
Meanwhile, Umbra was hiding in a dark alley, glaring at the walking people.
"I'll show that bonehead how powerful I am." She said, when she heard a scream.
"What the?" She mused to herself as she went to where she heard it. She then saw a man in leather harassing a young woman who was holding a black stun gun in her hand. A Vipertek VTS-989 Stun Gun to be precise.
"St-stay away!" She said as she held the gun in her hand.
"Come on, lady! Let's have some fun!" The man said with a creepy grin.
"Oh, I'll have some fun alright!" Umbra grumbled before approaching from behind and tapping his shoulder.
"What?" He said before he was punched in the jaw, he was grabbed by the leg and thrown into a near dustbin.
"Pig!" She snarled before she turned and saw the woman run off, dropping her stun gun.
"Some people. But…' She spied the stun gun still on the ground
'Opportunity comes a knocking." She said as she took out a pentagram and placed it on the side of the stun gun.
When it was placed on the side, it got absorbed into the side as larger pentagrams formed underneath, purple wisps of miasma forming as the taser soon floated in the air as it was soon surrounded by a purple orb.
What came out was a feminine figure with a stun gun body shape coloured purple with a golden gauge on its chest with a skirt that had black and yellow triangles. The arms were red with two prongs for hands and the head was shaped like a taser head with red eyes. FInally, it had yellow heeled boots as she cackled in a feminine tone.
"Hope these fools don't short out!" She snickered.
"Good Tazerling. Now, let's show this town and that muscle-headed hunter how we females can do things! Drain the energy of all of these pathetic creatures!" Umbra declared.
"So that's your plan."
Umbra turned around and saw Shadowshot step out of a portal.
"Shadowshot? WHat are you doing here?" She asked.
"Infectora's orders. While he's busy teaching some manners, I came to see if you were alright.' He then looked at the jinn who had just struck two male hobos, paralysing them and her gauge filled with power. 'This is your jinn?" He asked.
"Yes. With her power, I'll drain all these saps dry. When that gauge reaches full? I hope everyone enjoys an eternal blackout!" She cackled.
"Interesting plan. And what of the Rangers?"
"Don't worry. I'll take care of them." She said then added a thought.
'Plus, I'll show that arrogant fool of a hunter who's better!'
Outside the school, both Lincoln and Jordan were going on a small walk, hand in hand.
"It's nice to have moments like this." Jordan said with a loving smile.
"Yeah. So glad that our Ranger duties don't get in the way of our relationship." Lincoln added.
"Imagine if only one of us had become a ranger. How would that turn out?" Jordan said.
"Oh you know? A lot of fights, strained relationships, late dates, broken promises…I've read enough superhero comics to know that being a hero sucks when it involves loved ones." He answered.
"Yeah. Being a hero is great and all but when it clashes with your personal life? It gets messy. No wonder many heroes end up alone." Jordan said.
"Glad that's not us." Lincoln said as they laughed good naturedly.
"Imagine if it was just your friends and family? That would really be a mess." Jordan said.
Lincoln looked in the air and thought about it.
"Yeah. I probably would've lost a lot of respect for them for keeping that secret for so long. Even more if they said it was because I was too weak or untalented."
Jordan winced at that.
"Ooof, that would really hit the heartstrings." She said.
Soon the two just looked at each other as the world came to a standstill. They were moving closer, eyes closing as their lips puckered when suddenly, their morphers beeped.
"GUYS! WE HAVE A JINN BRUISER!"
This got their attention.
"Seriously?! We were having a moment!" Lincoln yelled into his morpher.
"DO IT AFTER THIS! WE GOT A LOT OF TROUBLE HERE! GET TO THE PLAZA"
Both pre-teens groaned.
"Duty calls." Lincoln said.
"Let's fly." Jordan added as they made their way to the plaza, still miffed of their moment being interrupted.
Leni, Shade and Drake had already morphed and were guiding as many citizens away from the havoc as possible but they couldn't save all of them from being paralysed.
With Jynxers blocking people, Tazerling came and stabbed people with her prongs, this time two office workers in suits, causing them to be paralysed.
"More energy for me! Less for you!" She cackled.
"Hey you there!" Drake commanded. Tazerling turned around and saw the three rangers pointing their blasters at them.
"Three rangers? Not much of a shock. Oh well." Tazerling spoke as she charged her prongs.
The battle began as she began to swing her at the rangers, who all dodged each strike. Shade snuck behind her and kicked her back with a push kick as Drake punched her in the face.
"Hey! Did no one teach you not to hit a lady?!" She screeched.
"Yep but not against psychotic jinns like you!" He said as he fired. Tazerling batted them away and shot bolts of electricity at him, striking him back.
Leni soon came on the attack. Saber drawn as she swiped down onto her shoulder, to which the humanoid jinn responded by kicking her back as she tumbled.
"You alright?" Shade asked.
"Yeah.' She shakily stood up and looked around. 'Where are Jordan and Lincoln?" She asked.
"Right here!" Two young voices spoke as Lincoln and Jordan, both morphed, fired away.
Jordan then rushed to Tazerling and dropped-kicked her a good feet away, while Lincoln shoulder bashed her.
"That was for ruining our date!" Jordan yelled as she fired at her body.
Soon, all five Rangers gathered together and had their sabers out.
"Guys! Plan R!" Drake ordered.
"What's that?" Shade asked.
"Rush her!"
Soon all of them charged, yelling battle cries as they did.
Meanwhile, Umbra was lurking in the shadows, waiting to strike.
"Perfect. Let's give Tazerling some assistance." She snickered as she drew her katanas and leapt from her hiding place.
The rangers paused when they saw her stand by her side.
"Umbra? What are you doing here?" Drake demanded.
"What do you think? Fighting you! JYNXERS!" She called out as an army of Jynxers emerged from the shadows, knives out and ready to fight.
"So much for an easy brawl." Shade said as he got ready.
"Can't be helped. Let's charge!" Drake said as the two sides clashed.
Drake weaved out of the way of the daggers before firing his blaster at two Jynxers. One tried to attack from behind but Drake spun around and pistol whipped it. He then drew his Quill Saber and slashed several more as he rushed forward.
"Enemies are eliminated." he said as he moved to another horde.
Leni began to dance around each Jynxer and Umbra as she tried to attack the Green Ranger.
"Hold still!" She snarled.
"Try and keep up!" Leni teased, firing her blaster as Umbra deflected the blasts.
Lincoln and Jordan were tag teaming the Jynxers surrounding them. Lincoln blocked one with his left arm before punching with his right, sending the Jynxer flying while Jordan blocked one knife with her saber then reverse-roundhousing the other. Lincoln went low while Jordan rolled off his back with Lincoln pistol whipping two and Jordan slashing another duo.
"Feels like a game of River City Girls!" Lincoln said.
"Just like the opening!" Jordan said.
Shade was fighting off the Jynxers coming as well along with Tazerling, who was swinging her prongs, trying to strike.
"Excuse me sir, I need your services." Shade said as he grabbed a Jynxer and shoved it to the charged prong, paralysing it.
He then drew his saber.
"Now eat steel!" He declared as he tried to slash down on Tazerling. But the shocking Jinn saw this coming. Using her other prong, she struck his chest, shocking him.
Shade yelled in agony as he demorphed but rather than fall he remained paralysed.
Drake noticed this and rushed to him, pushing a Jynxer out of the way.
"Shade! What happened?!" he asked his fellow Ranger.
"I…don't know. Can't move." He grunted as he tried to move his fingers to no avail
"One down! Everyone else to go!" Tazerling cackled as she charged her prongs again.
"You're gonna pay for that!" Drake yelled as he rushed forward. He began to swing wildly as Tazerling dodged with ease.
"Too slow! Let me give you a jolt!" Tazerling said as she struck Drake, causing an electric current to flow through Drake. He screamed in agony as he demorphed but remained paralysed in place.
"Not…me…!" Drake said as he strained from paralysis
"Another one for the Jinn! My power is off the charts!" Tazerling yelled as power flowed through her.
"Good job Tazerling! Here's another one coming your way!" Umbra spoke as she slashed down on Leni as she fell into the path of the Jinn Bruiser. LEni was disoriented and didn't notice the bruiser charge towards her.
But Lincoln did.
"LENI! MOVE IT!" He yelled as he threw a Jynxer off him and ran to his sister. Just as the prong struck, he used his back to try and shield her.
The prong struck and Lincoln was struck with a large amount of voltage.
"Linky!" Leni said as she saw her brother being paralysed from the struck as he demorphed.
"You…OK?" He asked as he strained from paralysis.
"What did you do to him?!" Leni demanded.
"Oh, just gave him a shock to the system!" She said in a smug tone. Then she heard the sounds of two angry girls scream as both Jordan and Leni struck hard at her chest. Soon Leni dove down with an overhead slash which was blocked but Jordan kicked Tazerling's leg, causing her to lose balance as she slashed with her saber on the shoulder. Leni then brought out her blaster and began firing non-stop, sending her back.
As Tazerling was sent flying, Umbra went to her Jinn.
"That was insane!" Umbra said as she ran to assist. Suddenly, Tazerling began to flash purple.
"Yeah! And I'm low on negergy! Imma head back and recharge! You coming?" Tazerling asked as a portal opened.
"Probably for the best. Until next time, Rangers!" Umbra said as they leapt inside.
Both were panting before seeing the paralysed forms of the boys.
"Guys!" Jordan ran to Lincoln and touched his face.
"I'm…paralysed. Not…dead!" Lincoln said with a playful snark.
"Don't worry, we'll try and get you moving again." Jordan said as Leni spoke into her morpher.
"Avias! Mortrix! We need help! We're coming to the Temple! Drake, Shade and Lincoln are paralysed!"
"Right! Sending you up!" Spoke Mortrix as the tornado came and whisked them away.
At the temple, Drake, Lincoln and Shade were inside tubes with cables connected to them with Motrix looking at a screen.
"How are they?" Leni asked as she tapped her foot impatiently, holding the bottom of her shirt.
"It seemed that jinn drained them of all their electrical charge. Think of it like hitting a pressure point but amplified. It halts the muscles, preventing them from moving."
"OK, so how do we unparalyse them? My boyfriend is right now stuck as a weird statue from a Jinn that used an electric attack from Pokémon!" Jordan ordered.
"I don't know." Mortrix said in a meek tone and then he was grabbed by an angry Leni.
"YOU DON'T KNOW?! MY BROTHER IS PROBABLY GOING TO BE STUCK LIKE THIS FOREVER AND YOU DON'T KNOW?!" Leni screamed.
"Enough!" Avias commanded, causing Leni to drop the engineer.
"I understand you girls are worried but shaking our mechanic isn't going to solve anything. You need to keep a clear head if we want our fellow Rangers back to normal."
Leni and Jordan calmed down as they looked away.
"My best guess is if we take out the gauge, all the energy it took will go back to the people that got paralysed. That is the only thing we got." Mortrix said.
Suddenly, the alarms went off and Windform came in.
"You'll get your chance! There's activity at the local electric plant." Windform said.
Avias turned to the girls.
"You two are all we have left. Go and take that Jinn out."
"Right!" Both said as they were teleported to where the Jinn was creating havoc.
Tazerling was on top of an electric pylon cackling madly.
"Ahhh, yes! All this energy! Mine to drain!"
Umbra was below, looking at her with an army of Jynxers.
"Tazerling! On my signal, drain the energy! These humans won't fair well in the dark!" Umbra called.
"OK!" Tazerling said as she prepared her prongs
"Ready? And…" Umbra began but soon a blast fired, taking out some of the Jynxers.
"What?!" Umbra shreaked and turned around to see Leni and Jordan, blasters in their hands" "You…" She snarled.
"You are going to pay for what you did!" Leni yelled in fury.
"For what? Putting those boys in paralysis? Too bad, at least they won't get in the way! When Tazerling gets enough energy, I'll send a wave of energy that will put this place in total darkness. The fear will build up immensely!" She cackled.
"Sorry but it's time for your Jinn to short circut! IT'S MORPHING TIME!" Jordan declared as they activated her morphers. Clicking a button, the beaks opened as they crossed their arms in front of them
AVIAN STRIKE!
They brought their arms to the before pointing their two fingers into the air.
IT'S TIME TO FLY!
The screen split into two showing both Jordan on the right and Leni on the left.

The morpher shot to the sky, turning the sky teal
Leni then made an X with her arms before uncrossing them as a pair of wings shot from behind her. He then flew through the teal clouds, which outfitted him in a teal wingsuit with a lightning bolt on the chest, white gloves with golden claws and a pair of white boots before diving back to the ground.
When she landed, she stood up as a teal swan landed behind her head, forming a teal helmet with bird like eyes and a flat beak with three feathers wrapped around her head. A black visor then covers her eyes.
Slamming her palms together, she then swung them below her before bringing them full circle with her palms facing in the opposite direction.
"Teal Ranger! Ready for Take off!"

The morpher shot to the sky, turning the sky yellow
Jordan then made an X with her arms before uncrossing them as a pair of wings shot from behind her. He then flew through the yellow clouds, which outfitted her in a yellow wingsuit with a lightning bolt on the chest, white gloves with golden claws and a pair of white boots before diving back to the ground
When she landed, she stood up as a yellow falcon landed behind her head, forming a yellow helmet with bird like eyes and a drill-like beak with three feathers wrapped around her head. A black visor then covers her eyes.
Crouching down, she then goes into a low sweep clockwise, before front flipping to her before scratching twice and baring her clawed gloves.
"Yellow Ranger! Ready for Take off!"
Umbra wasn't intimidated though.
"Jynxers! Hold them off!" She commanded as they charged.
Leni and Jordan tapped their belt and held their fists to the sky.
AVIAN WEAPONS! DESCEND FROM ABOVE
A large tornado dropped from the sky, surrounding Leni's hand. Pulling it out revealed her spear Twirling it like a baton, she rested it over her shoulders.
"Swan Spear!" Leni exclaimed
A lightning bolt struck from the sky, surrounding Jordan's hand. Deciding to stick her other hand then pulling out revealed her claws as she scratched the air twice
"Falcon Claws!" Jordan exclaimed
The two girls soon rushed to the army.
Leni spun the spear around her body, the tip slicing through many of the Jynxers as she then stabbed another one. She then leapt over a group and spun it around her head, slicing a lot of them. She then kicked one back and backhanded another.
Whipping out her blaster, she then fired at another group of charging Jynxers before rushing forwards and clotheslining a lot of them with her spear.
Jordan began to slash away with her claws, cutting down the Jynxers surrounding her. She grabbed another one and threw it to one side before slashing five in one go. Seeing a group come, she sprinted to them and hacked away like they were made of tissue. One tried to grab her but she just kicked it in the crotch and doubled hammered it into the ground.
Soon both Leni and Jordan saw Tazerling as she had her prongs stuck into the plant, her gauge going up.
"Time's almost up!" Umbra cackled as she unsheathed her katanas, charging dark energy.
"Not this time!" Both girls said as they aimed their blasters at Tazerling.
"Dark Slice Wind!" Umbra said as the girls fired, the black waves strike as the blasters fired.
The two rangers were sent back and began to steadily get up.
"HAH! Pathetic! You couldn't aim for someone right in front of you!" Umbra cackled.
"Who…said…we were aiming…for you?" Jordan got out, confusing the assassin. She then heard groaning.
Turning around, she saw Tazerling sparking as she began to sway, sparking from the gauge being destroyed.
"No? WHAT DID YOU DO?!" She yelled as it exploded and sent her flying off the conduit.
"You…You aimed for my Jinn?!" She shrieked.
"Yep. That gauge is dust." Leni said, grinning under her helmet before frowning. 'I hope the boys are OK."
Back at the sky temple, three bolts went straight to the paralysed boys, quickly getting them back to normal.
"OH GOD, THANK YOU FOR THE MOVEMENTS!" Drake said as he rolled his arms.
"We're back to normal? How?!" Lincoln said, rolling his shoulders.
"You can thank Leni and Jordan. But right now, I believe they need help." Avias said as he pointed to the screen, showing them facing Umbra and a giant Tazerling.
"What are we waiting for, kisses on the cheek?! We got an overgrown Stun Gun to wreck!" Shade said as they activated their morphers.
AVIAN STRIKE! IT'S TIME TO FLY!
(Morph Sequence: Drake)

Drake then made an X with his arms before uncrossing them as a pair of wings shot from behind him. He then shot through the red clouds, which outfitted him with a red wingsuit with a lightning bolt on the chest, white gloves with golden claws and a pair of white boots before diving back to the ground.
When he landed, he stood up as a red hawk landed behind his head, forming a red helmet with bird like eyes and pointed beak with three feathers wrapped around his head. A black visor then covers his eyes.
Sending his right fist to the lower left, he then brought it into the form of a salute with his left foot behind his right.
"Red Ranger! Ready for take off!"
(Morph Sequence: Shade)
The morpher shot to the sky, turning the sky black, the cloud then turning white.
Shade then made an X with his arms before uncrossing them as a pair of wings shot from behind him. He then flew through the black clouds, which outfitted him in a black wingsuit with a lightning bolt on the chest, white gloves with golden claws and a pair of white boots before diving back to the ground
When he landed, he stood up as a black raven landed behind his head, forming a black helmet with bird like eyes and a pointed beak with three feathers wrapped around his head. A black visor then covers his eyes.
He then slams a fist into his palm and cracks his neck before getting into a southpaw stance.
"Black Ranger! Ready for take off!"
(Morph Sequence: Lincoln)
The morpher shot to the sky, turning the sky orange.
Lincoln then made an X with his arms before uncrossing them as a pair of wings shot from behind him. He then flew through the orange clouds, which outfitted him in an orange wingsuit with a lightning bolt on the chest, white gloves with golden claws and a pair of white boots before diving back to the ground
When he landed, he stood up as an orange sparrow landed behind his head, forming an orange helmet with bird like eyes and a needle-like beak with three feathers wrapped around his head. A black visor then covers his eyes.
He then points his fingers in opposite directions into the top corners then swung them down before getting into a basic karate stance.
"Orange Ranger! Ready for take off!"
Back on the ground, Tazerling, Umbra and the remaining Jynxers surrounded the girls.
"Man hope the others get here!" Jordan yelled as she dodged a prong coming her way.
"Wish granted! Look!" Leni said as she pointed up. Coming down were Drake, Shade and Lincoln.
"Thanks for giving back our movement!" Drake said as they landed.
"Wanna get ready to overload this creep?" Shade added.
"With pleasure!" Leni said as both Jordan and Leni stood by their side
Drake then punched in the opposite direction before bringing his fists back then putting his right arm on his forehead and his left against his gut
"Disciplined as the Hawk! Avian Strike! Red Ranger!" Drake declared
Leni spun like a ballerina before bending backwards and spreading her arms outward.
"Graceful as the Swan! Avian Strike! Teal Ranger" LEni declared
Jordan punched the air several times before doing a spinning uppercut and landing on the ground, bringing her left arm back with the fingers pointing behind her and her right doing a chopping motion.
"Fast as the Falcon! Avian Strike! Yellow Ranger!" Jordan declared
Lincoln did a card draw before slamming his fist into his palm then bringing it forward while his hand became a claw.
"Creative as the Sparrow! Avian Strike! Orange Ranger!" Lincoln declared
Shade moved his right hand in front of his face to the right before slamming it into the ground and bringing his left behind him as he looked up.
"Mysterious as the Raven! Avian Strike! Black Ranger!" Shade declared
"Let the winds of combat cross over! As we spread our wings for battle!" Drake said.
"POWER RANGERS! AVIAN STRIKE!"
They posed as an explosion went off behind them.
"That's IT! I'LL TAKE BACK YOUR ENERGY, RIGHT THIS MINUTE!" Tazerling yelled as she rushed forward rather shakily.
"Should we fight her off?" Leni asked, at the poor sight.
"I think we should just put her out of her misery." Drake said as he took out his bird head. All of them then held their own to the sky
VENTUS CANNON! AIR FORMATION!
The heads soon spun and formed the cannon. Leni then took her head and loaded it into the beak.
"This is for paralysing my baby brother!" She snarled as they pointed it at the walking stun Gun
"READY! AIM!"
"AIR STRIKE!"
They fired the cannon as a teal swan flew out, circling around the Jinn before divebombing the Jinn with all it's might.
"Short…Circut!" She groaned before exploding.
At the Temple of darkness, dark energy surrounded Infectora.
"Time for a recharge! GIGANTE GEYSER!" He roared as a pillar of dark energy appeared from below the fallen jinn, causing it to grow giant
"Back and fully charged!" Tazerling yelled.
"Time for us to go giant to!" Drake said as they pointed to the sky and called out:
"AVIAN SPIRITS! FLY OUT!"
Soon all of the zords emerged from them as they came and scooped them up in their beaks. Not wasting time, they called the next line
"AVIAN ZORDS! FLY AS ONE!"
Soon all of the zords began to fly in an arrow formation. The red hawk's head jerked back as it folded its legs and wings inside, a face popping from inside the hawk's head. Next was the black raven as it attached to the back and let its wings spread out. Soon the yellow falcon swooped from below and extended its legs and lowered his head to join at the bottom to form the legs. The orange sparrow and green swan soon folded its limbs to form the two arms. The orange was a needle while the green was like a blade.
The megazord soon flew as a background of a view above the clouds was shown.
TENGU MEGAZORD!
"Oh, I cannot wait to drain your energy!" Tazerling said as she charged, her prongs sparking.
"Guys, use only the cannon! That thing hits us, we're sitting ducks!" Drake ordered.
"Right! Wind cannon! Fire!" Leni said as the swan beak opened and began to blast away at the jinn's chest area sending her backward.
"Why you! Shock yourself with this!" Tazerling yelled as she fired lightning from her prongs, to which the megazord dodged out of the way.
"Returning fire!" Lincoln said as he aimed for the prongs with the cannon and fired bullets of air, destroying them.
"No! My prongs!" Tazerling wailed.
"Now the final part! Skewering you!" Drake said as all five rangers pulled down the levers, allowing the megazord to take flight. As soon as it reached the peak, The megazord took the spear and pointed it at the jinn
"POWER OF THE SKY!"
Soon the spear began to glow blue as it extended its point. The Megazord brought its arm back, ready to throw.
"FINAL STRIKE!"
The Megazord threw the spear with all its might, punching through the Jinn's body as it landed on the other side. The megazord flew behind the jinn as it hoisted the spear over its shoulders, while TAzerling began to spark and spasm.
"OVERLOAD!" She yelled as she collapsed and exploded.
The rangers roared in victory.
"Another jinn down!" Lincoln said.
"And it was all thanks to some girl power!" Shade remarked as he looked at the girls.
"Aw, thanks guys!" Jordan said.
"You know what? Leni and Jordan, you declare it." Drake said with a smirk.
"Really?! Thanks!" Leni said as the two girls spoke.
"The skies have calmed! Avian Rangers, we have landed a victory!"
What they didn't realise was that Umbra had picked up one of Tazerling's prongs, which was still sparking.
"OK, so that plan didn't work.' she sighed but then looked at the sparking prong. 'But this could be useful." She said, disappearing into the portal.
Back on the planet, the teens of the rangers were chatting.
"Being stuck like that makes you understand how a statue feels." Shade said, sipping his soda.
"I know. You definitely showed those two." Drake added as he held a corn dog in his hand.
"Thanks! But I couldn't have done it without Jordan. Us girls have to stick together." Leni spoke with pride.
"Yeah. Especially when your brother is one of the victims." Shade said with a smirk.
"Say, where is the little guy? I figured he would be celebrating with us." Drake asked.
"Oh, he's got his own celebration with Jordan." Leni smirked and the two boys knew what she meant.
Lincoln and Jordan were taking a walk through the park, hand in hand.
"Hey, I never got to thank you for saving me back there. If it weren't for you and Leni, I would've been stuck like that forever."
Jordan giggled.
"Don't worry. I love you. And no overgrown taser will prevent me from keeping me from my man."
"Aw, thanks. So, we never got to finish that date. So where were we?" Lincoln said with a loving smile.
"I think I remember." Jordan said as the two kissed with Lincoln's arms around her waist and Jordan's around his neck. The sun setting behind them.
Back at the dark temple, Umbra came in and saw Hunterror once again in the black pool.
"What happened to him?"
"Infectora taught him some discipline. So, the mission was a failure?" Shadowshot asked.
"Yeah, but I have something for the boss." Umbra said she approached Infectora, who was meditating.
"Let me guess. Your plan failed." He growled.
"Yep but look on the bright side." Umbra spoke.
"What?"
She handed him the arm.
"It still has residual energy. I figured you could use it." Umbra said as he began to examine the arm.
"Yes. I can feel it." Infectora said as he allowed the magic in him to wrap around the arm, absorbing it into him. Soon he stood up and chuckled darkly.
"Thank you, Umbra. I have a new power."
With a roar, he unleashed a blast of black lightning into the sky.

Quite a few changes barring the word build.
Firstly, made it so that they could use the Ventus cannon. I want all the rangers to use it with their bird heads so next chapter will be Jordan's time and NO it won't be her focused episode.
Also I specified the infected object. Expect that a lot in this story. What can I say, I'm OCD.
