Chapter 19
The next morning
Hajime didn't expect himself to wake up so early in the morning and feeling energetic too. So much so that he felt like he should go for a run or something to get the muscles stimulated. Perhaps it was the newfound motivation to beat Satsuki and Ragyo as well. As Hajime began to exercise right outside of the hideout, Ryuko came out with some cereal bars.
The girl just stared at her brother as he did some squats and push ups. Ryuko stifled a laugh as she thought Hajime looked like some kind of boy scout as he worked out. By this point, Hajime could pretty much recognize when his sister is in proximity but didn't say anything until he finished with the first round of workouts.
"Is there something you need Ryuko?" Hajime said without looking at her.
"Your breakfast, I gotta make sure my little brother doesn't die of starvation. Besides, Mikan told me that you need protein so that your muscles don tear apart or something." Ryuko said as she presented the cereal bars. "I don't understand any of that health science crap, but she's the closest thing to a doctor we got." she said.
"Mikan's the equivalent to an elite hospital compared to Mako's dad. She's also less expensive." Hajime said as he walked up to Ryuko.
Ryuko snickered, "Whatever, Mako's dad is good enough to keep us both alive. Although I could do without him charging you 1000 yen per stitch or broken bones." she said.
"I gave him a new washing machine and fixed his plumbing." Hajime said.
"Which is why he's only charging you 1000 instead of 10,000." Ryuko said as she handed Hajime his breakfast. "Speaking of specialties, do you think you can turn these breakfast bars into some gourmet style food?" she asked.
Hajime groaned, "I would need more supplies." he said.
"I can get you a duck, a can of soda, maybe a bag of chips and Mako's hat." Ryuko said.
"Where did you get a duck from?" Hajime asked.
"Can you make something from all of that stuff?" Ryuko asked.
"If the duck is mature, I can probably make it edible." Hajime answered.
Ryuko snickered, "Aw, my baby brother is such an amazing cook that all he needs is duck and some other junk." she said, teasing him. "I bet that must make me the Ultimate High School Level Big Sister." she said.
"I think that title would be underwhelming for someone like you." Hajime said.
"Yeah, I'm way too badass." Ryuko said as she started eating. "Anyways, when we had that mess with that pervert teacher and the pervert with the mohawk. You gave them some kind of disc or something, right? What was that?" she asked, having not bothered to question Hajime until now about the subject.
"Chiaki gave it to me." Hajime answered.
"Cool." Ryuko said before her eyes widened. "Hajime, please tell me that the disc is just a list of songs that you and your ex used to listen to." she said.
"Ryuko, it's nothing dangerous." Hajime said.
"Dude, I'm supposed to be the reckless one. If you gave them a disc from the enemy, we probably got a virus or something attacking the base." Ryuko said, sounding serious.
Hajime sighed, "Look, I just know these things and before you say anything. I am not simp or anything equally demeaning." he said, expecting some small insult from his sister. "Look, putting aside my relationship with Chiaki. I literally have ways of knowing if she was lying. You think they literally just stapled titles onto me and called it surgery?" he asked.
"Yeah! Yeah! I know! You had some dangerous experimental surgery done on you! You mentioned it already!" Ryuko exclaimed.
"Then you can tell that I have multiple skills such as investigating and psychology." Hajime said, using that as an excuse to trust Chiaki.
"Okay fine, but don't think you can use your power of being a shrink on me." Ryuko said. "Look Haj, I want to trust you and the fact that we just learned that alien clothes want to take over the world has got me a bit on edge." She said.
"She's got a point, you should have made your mate realize who the alpha is. Then you wouldn't have needed to worry about potential betrayers and all that crap." Fenrir said.
"You are over simplifying things with such barbaric suggestions. You scare me Fenrir." Senketsu said.
"Damn right I do. Wait, was that an insult!?" Fenrir angrily asked.
"Ignoring the Kamui, do you think can keep your head in the game when the big day comes?" Ryuko asked.
"Of course." Hajime answered with the a nod.
Then again, Hajime won't be too excited to see Ragyo again. Especially as she's an equally dangerous threat, even if Satsuki is against her.
Day of Ragyo's arrival
After completing the Tri-City Raid, Satsuki had her subordinates set up a special event for Ragyo's arrival. Satsuki intended to lower her mother's guard by gifting her an audience to distract her with. Under the guise of a cultural festival, Satsuki awaited her mother's arrival via helicopter. Unaware of all of the special guests that Ragyo has brought with her.
Although Satsuki did predict and prepare for Nui's potential appearance. It was unexpected of Nui to replace her helicopter pilot for when she returned home, but now the girl was better prepared for the crazy girl's return.
Satsuki then started the ceremony with a speech, "Attention Honnoji Academy, we have conquered every school in the country and all those who oppose the Goku Uniform have been defeated. Eat and drink your filth and praise the Kiryuin name! Let Honnoji Academy's culture and sports festival begin!" she said.
As Ragyo's helicopter arrived, Satsuki and the rest of her Divas positioned themselves to welcome her mother as the marching band played a glorious fanfare. Jakuzure was the first one to properly greet Ragyo.
"Greetings it's been too long, Ms. Ragyo." Jakuzure said.
"Hello Jakuzure, how is your father?" Ragyo asked.
"He's fine, thank you for asking." Jakuzure said, satisfying Ragyo's curiosity.
Ragyo the looked at Inamuta, "And you? Still finding satisfaction by tampering with the stock market?" she asked, recalling Inamuta's history.
"Not anymore ma'am." Inamuta answered.
"What a pity." Ragyo said, insulting the hacker.
Ragyo then turned to face her daughter, "I see you amassed quite the crowd, Satsuki. I am very impressed." She said, mentally thanking Satsuki for helping with her plan.
"Why of course, your presence is an honor to all of these people." Satsuki said respectfully.
Ragyo just smiled at Satsuki, 'How many negative thoughts are in your head, Satsuki dear? Oh how my heart would flutter if you turned out to be like Nui.' she thought as she walked past Satsuki. 'Or maybe like Junko. At least that girl had more interesting aspirations.' she thought.
Satsuki then began to give her speech in welcoming Ragyo. Instead of using monitors to help the audience who were watching from the far distance. Satsuki had a hologram of Ragyo to appear over the crowd, which did scare quite a few people because of her intimidating appearance. Which didn't help because Ragyo found it hilarious to scare the crowd.
With Ryuko and The Ultimates
Several of the students took different positions and watched as the events unfolded. Scouting out the crowd and staff that were a part of the cultural festival. All the while everyone was feeling anxious about the suits and dresses that the spectators were forced to wear.
"Hey Mankanshoku, don't take this as me disrespecting your family. But I expected your old man and brother to sell those suits for extra cash." Fuyuhiko said as he was watching the crowd with some binoculars.
"My dad is one thing, but Mataro? Mom must have stopped him before he tried that." Mako said, imagining the good amount of money that a suit is worth.
"Fuyuhiko-sama, that boy is clearly wearing black paint on his body." Peko said as she was also using binoculars.
"Okay, I guess he did go for it." Fuyuhiko said.
"Guys, let's focus on the mission first. At least Mataro is slightly more safe this way." Hajime said, ignoring the fact that Mataro might be naked.
"Yeah, those suits might activate at any moment." Ryuko said, reminding everyone.
"I wish we had an EMP but for clothes." Kazuichi said as he scratched his head.
"Crap, guys we gotta move. Ragyo is about to give her speech." Kazuichi said.
"You think she's going to activate the suits right before giving her villain speech or something?' Fuyuhiko asked with some doubt.
Ryuko already hopped onto her motorcycle, "I'm not taking that chance. Come on Mako!" she said.
"Okay." Mako said as she hopped on the back.
Everyone else scrambled together and started following Ryuko to the stadium
At the stadium
As Kazuichi predicted, Ragyo barely got any introductions done. She activated the Life Fibers in everyone's outfits and trapped them inside of cocoons made up of Life Fibers. As the ultimates reached the stadium, they saw a large truck arrive Aikuro and Tsumugu riding at the front.
"You kids ready? This is probably going to be the grand finale, or at least a major turning point." Aikuro said.
"Yeah, we beat that older Kiryuin skank and then we deal with Satsuki." Ryuko said.
Aikuro snickered, "Your priorities are more or less the same as ever, aren't they?" he asked.
Aikuro then unloaded his really weird machine and started loading himself inside.
"You guys are looking at the newest piece of machinery. I call it, the DTR." Aikuro said.
"Dotonbori Robo?" Ryuko asked.
"DTR." Aikuro said.
"Yeah, that means Dotonbori Robo." Ryuko pointed oiut.
"DTR!" Aikuro said, sounding more aggressive.
"That form surely cannot be good for your back." Mikan said.
"Yeah dude, you might as well be wearing a Titanium thimble on our pinky." Kazuichi said, seeing so many issues with DTR.
Aikuro felt pissed by this point, "Look, you kids can disrespect my genius later. Right now, any one of you who can't climb over this wall needs to grab on." He said. "For those of you with no direct combat abilities, you should stay behind and provide support if possible." he added.
"I'll stay behind and monitor you guys." Kazuichi said as he unloaded his equipment.
"Mako, you should do the same since you can't fight." Ryuko suggested with Mako nodding.
"I guess I'm sitting out too." Teruteru said with a sight.
"Tsumiki and I will keep you three company as well." Nagito said.
"If that's all, lets go." Aikuro said as the rest of the Ultimate and Ryuko followed after Aikuro
In the stadium
Mataro was the only one left alone and still conscious in the stadium. The boy did indeed sell his clothes and earned a fair amount of cash. So he decided to paint his body black in an attempt to blend in with the well dressed crowd. Now he was freaking out as he just watched his family and pet dog turn into a cocoon.
Whether or not Ragyo noticed this did not matter as Ragyo enjoyed the silence.
"Peace, this is what I wanted." Ragyo said.
Her love for this silence had been interrupted once she heard Aikuro's machine land and all the other ultimates arrive as well. Of course, Ryuko had to step up first and pointed her scissor blade at Ragyo.
"Ragyo Kiryuin, so you're the bitch that's been pulling the strings the whole time." Ryuko said.
"And you must be Ryuko Matoi and that must be Kamui Senketsu." Ragyo said, unaffected by Ryuko's vulgar behavior. Then her eyes moved to Hajime, "And Hajime, I see you are still yourself. So much better in every way and you chose to doubt the Life Fibers. You even chose to wear Kamui Fenrir, such a vulgar kamui." she said.
"Tear this bitch a new one. I hate everything about her. The smile, the calmness, the stupid clown outfit, it all gives me a headache." Fenrir said.
"What really breaks my heart is you chose to let me down. Although this is not the first time I've been disappointed." Ragyo said as she looked at Satsuki from the corner of her eye.
Hajime shivered as he was having flashbacks of the tests done to him by Ragyo and the scientists. Ryuko gently grabbed his hand and nodded at him.
"Listen here you bitch, we're bringing you and this entire academy down. We're not letting you take over the world with your glorified string!" Ryuko exclaimed.
"Glorified string you say? Girl, do you know who I am? I am Ragyo Kiryuin, head of REVOCS and head off…"
*SQUELCH*
Ragyo turned around as she heard the sound of flesh being pierced. She looked and saw Satsuki trying to impale her with the Bakuzan blade. Ragyo just sighed at her daughter's behavior.
"Satsuki, this Matoi girl may be vulgar and rude but at least she has enough manners as to not interrupt me." Ragyo said.
Everyone including the ultimates watched in shock at Satsuki's actions. It wasn't necessarily the fact that she tried to kill her mother, it was the fact that it failed and the reason for it. Satsuki was stopped by none other than Chiaki Nanami who was casually gripped the blade like it was nothing despite her hands bleeding.
"Nanami, what are you doing!?" Gamagori angrily yelled.
The Ultimates were beyond confused by this scene.
"Wait, Satsuki was trying to kill her mom?" Akane asked.
"I guess there's a power struggle or something." Nekomaru said.
"But what is Nanami doing? Is she protecting Ragyo or is she defecting from Satsuki's side?" Peko asked.
Everyone watched as Nanami let go of Satsuki's sword. Satsuki stood back and glared at Chiaki before trying to attack Ragyo again. Only this time, Chiaki jumped in front of Satsuki and kicked her with enough force to send her crashing off of the stage. Chiaki jumped down next to her and grinned as she lifted Satsuki up by her hair.
"Wow, are you like that stupid? Or are you just ignorant?" Chiaki asked in a different voice.
Satsuki gritted her teeth as she glared at "Chiaki", "I should have known you were nearby." she said.
Everyone minus Ragyo and Rei watched in shock as Chiaki's appearance changed and was replaced by Junko Enoshima.
"Hey everybody, did you miss me?" Junko asked.
Everyone had mixed reactions from shock, rage, fear and just genuine confusion. Some of the Ultimates feared for Chiaki's life, even if she was their enemy, they can only imagine what Junko did with her. However, Satsuki wouldn't let one surprise stop her.
"Inamuta! Release the crowd!" Satsuki ordered.
Inamuta suddenly pressed a button and activated several cannons that shot a barrage of needles. The people trapped in the cocoons were freed and the One Star students ripped off their uniforms, revealing white and golden uniforms.
"I see you were prepared, Satsuki. However, you are a bit too confident. I suppose that's the one good thing you inherited from me." Ragyo said, unfazed by the fact that her daughter is trying to kill her.
"The one good thing about me is that I exist to kill a monster like you!" Satsuki yelled as she tried to move her sword. "And you! I should have expected my mother to find another alternate when she couldn't satisfy herself." she said.
Junko just smirked, "Satsuki, you can insult me all I want but it's not my fault that your mom doesn't care for you. In fact, does anyone actually like you?" she asked as she let go of the Bakuzan sword. Junko then dodged Satsuki's attacks with ease, "All you have are a bunch of slaves, brown noses, and scared wimps. You're so universally hated, your own dad left you." she said.
Satsuki suddenly felt enough rage to cut through Junko's wrist and stabbed her sword into Junko's shoulder.
"Oops, did I hit a nerve?" Junko asked.
"Junko dear, you didn't have to bring that up. Soichirou was a hack." Ragyo said, further angering Satsuki.
Satsuki then found herself being kicked away across the stage.
"It doesn't matter, your plans end here! Everything will end! The Primordial Life Fiber is going to be destroyed! You will die and so will all of your servants!" Satsuki said.
Junko scoffed, "If that primordial whatever is destroyed, then Mukuro is so getting an ass beating." she said.
Suddenly the television screen revealed the room of the Primordial Life Fiber. It revealed Iori and the rest of the Sewing Club lying on the ground and injured badly by a group of men wearing military style clothes.
"I guess Mukuro won't be getting a beating today." Junko said as she cleaned her ear with her pinky.
With Nui
Nui was just watching the whole seen unfold when Sanageyama nearly impaled her with a sword.
"I was waiting for a chance to get back at you." Sanageyama told Nui.
Nui genuinely could not remember the blind swordsman. She didn't know that Sanageyama was angry because she interrupted his fight with Ryuko when Nui turned her into a monster.
"Have we met?" Nui asked before watching Sanageyama transform. "Is this meant to be a reunion?" she asked.
Just as Sanageyama was about to attack her with his boken. Mukuro appeared and blocked the weapon with a sniper rifle.
"The Four Divas are mine." Mukuro said.
"The Four what?" Nui asked, being ignorant again.
Seconds later, Gamagori arrived with Jakuzure and Inamuta. All three already activated their uniforms and surrounded the pair.
"Oh, there's four of them. Now I get it." Nui said.
"Yes and all four are mine, you may go play with someone else. Just do not get into my sister's way." Mukuro said as she adjusted her weapon.
"Okay fine, these weirdos are boring anyways." Nui said as she escaped.
"No you won't!" Gamagori yelled only for his helmet to be shot by Mukuro's sniper. Gamagori gasped as he felt like a truck hit him, "What? An ordinary gun did this?" he asked.
Mukuro suddenly appeared in front of Jakuzure, "None of you will ruin my sister's dream or Lady Ragyo's." She said.
"To hell with you! Lady Satsuki's dreams will come before anyone else's, including your bitch of a sister's!" Jakuzure angrily yelled before firing heart shaped projectiles at Mukuro.
Mukuro dodged the hearts with ease before shooting at the Jakuzure's wings. To Jakuzure's surprise, the bullets coming from Mukuro's sniper rifle had started to damage her wings, making her lose flight. That's when Inamuta stepped in and generated several blue polygon shaped clones of himself.
"A heavy caliber rifle with bullet like rounds. Something much stronger than what Nudist Beach produced, impressive." Inamuta said as he scanned Mukuro's weapon.
Mukuro did not to respond to Inamtua's analysis and proceeded to pull out a heavy machine gun from a bag on her back. She then opened fire on the clones, destroying each one in quick succession. Forcing Inamuta to retreat behind Sanageyama who tried attacking Mukuro next.
"You and your sister are old news!" Sanageyama said as he brought down his boken.
Mukuro raised up her arm and transformed it into a blade like weapon. Mukuro parried Sanageyama's rapid strikes before eventually being hit with enough force to crash into a wall.
"Finish her off!" Sanageyama yelled.
Jakuzure managed to get some control of her flight again before firing more hearts again. Just in time for Gamagori to recover and throw his whips into the hole that was created by Mukuro's body. His whips then pulled out Mukuro who looked barely harmed.
"Even if you aren't a part of student body! I will personally discipline you!" Gamagori yelled as he tried to slam Mukuro onto the pavement.
Mukuro snapped her head back and grabbed extended her blade arm to slash at Gamagori's whip, freeing herself. Once free, she grabbed another whip and used all of her strength to lift Gamagori into the air and began to spin him around. Causing Gamagori to crash into Jakuzure who then crashed into Sanageyama.
"You four are a waste of time." Mukuro said, lacking any emotion.
"You forgot about me." Inamuta said as more clones of himself appeared.
"I have little concern for you." Mukuro said without looking at him.
Back with Ryuko's group
Ryuko was confused by the new events. She didn't know about Junko but she was surprised to see that Satsuki was trying to kill Ragyo. It made her feel confused and conflicted as to what to do next.
"Ryuko! Snap out of it!" Senketsu shouted.
"What?" Ryuko asked.
"We're in a three way war now." Senketsu said.
As Senketsu tried to get Ryuko to focus, everyone else started following Aikuro's commands.
"Okay kids, I need half of you to help get the civilians out of here. Satsuki was apparently against Ragyo, but Ragyo only predicted most of her plans. So we need to get these people out of here before Ragyo cocoons them again." Aikuro said.
"Pekoyama and I can grab them and have my clan load these people out of here." Fuyuhiko said with Peko nodding.
"I can lend support, but we should also contact Soda with the news." Sonia said.
"Yeah, Mako is definitely going to want to get her family out of here." Aikuro said. "Hajime, you and Ryuko go deal with the big bad. Whether that's Satsuki or Ragyo, but my money is going on Disco Milf being the real enemy." He said.
"Did you just call Ragyo a Disco Milf?" Tsumugu asked.
"It makes sense with how colorful her hair was the other day." Aikuro answered.
"Ah guys, we might have a problem." Hajime said.
With Ragyo
While everyone was distracted, Ragyo sat on her throne and snapped her wrist.
"Come children, perform for me as you have all tirelessly practiced." Ragyo said.
Suddenly, four children wearing their own Goku Uniforms appeared but they carried Ragyo's company brand on them along with a different color. All four were members of the Warriors of Hope and each were more than happy to further ruin Satsuki's plans.
"What is this?" Satsuki asked.
"Wooh! Warriors of Hope!" Junko cheered as she tried to slash at Satsuki.
"Warriors of Hope? The missing children?" Satsuki asked.
Among the people recruited by Satsuki, Kumaru Naegi was one of them and she had faced these four children with help from Toko. It all happened some time after she released Class 78 and during the final days of Class 77's trip in the simulator. Only she never knew what happened to them after the city was taken back.
"That's the thing about you Satsuki. You act like you're the most amazing thing since sliced bread, but the only people you care about are yourself and whoever is useful at the time. I mean you're not even following the rules of natural selection. You are so wasteful when it comes to people." Junko explained as she extended her nails with Life Fibers.
"And what would you know, Enoshima? You are no better. You see your own sister as nothing but a dog that needs to be beaten into submission, you abuse your own blood!" Satsuki argued as she dodged the attacks.
Junko scoffed, "You're calling me a bad sister? You literally tried to stab your own mom." she said.
"My mother is not human!" Satsuki yelled as she tried to thrust her sword into Junko's gut
Junko parried the attack with her nails, "Neither am I! Besides, Mukuro likes it!" she said before slashing at Satsuki's stomach. "You love my criticism, right stupid!?" She asked Mukuro in the distance.
Mukuro climbed onto Jakuzure's back and stabbed a knife into her remaining wing. Causing the two to fly around the stadium and passing by Junko at one point.
"Yes sister! Your criticism improves me but I can never amount to be anything like you!" Mukuro rapidly said as she flew over Junko.
"Yes or no! You don't have to give me an essay!" Junko screamed before being decapitated.
Satsuki watched as Junko's head fell off and a fountain of blood came out. Satsuki took a deep breath before sheathing her blade.
"Your abuse and my discipline are two different things. Goodbye forever, Junko Enoshima." Satsuki said before trying to focus on Ragyo.
"Hold the hell up! We're not done here, you bitch!" Junko yelled.
Satsuki gasped in fear as she turned back to see Junko putting her head back on her shoulders.
"I got a big upgrade and I'm not letting you interrupt Lady Ragyo's entertainment or my little apprentices when they want to impress her." Junko said.
"All done big sister!" Masaru shouted.
Satsuki looked over her shoulder and saw her One Star students being possessed by more Life Fibers. The Warriors of Hope trapped the students in a cocoon of Life Fibers which then took control of them. Instead of prisoners, they were now zombies bound to Ragyo's will.
"Now they will only respond to Aunt Ragyo." Nagisa said out loud.
"Not like they were any happy under Satsuki's control." Kotoko said.
"Good job!" Satsuki told the kids. "See Satsuki? Now your slaves belong to Lady Ragyo. Don't worry though, you're used to this rejection right? After all, your dad left you to save his own ass." he said.
"How dare you!?" Satsuki screamed before slashed at Junko's face.
"Ow! You're going to make me as ugly as Mukuro!" Junko said as she felt a deep cut against her face.
"Synchronize Kamui Junketsu!" Satsuki shouted as she finally activated her kamui. "I will end this pointless farce now!" she yelled as she tried to permanently kill Junko.
Junko just grinned as her eyes turned into spirals as Satsuki arrived. Despite having lost to her many times before. Junko had really been upgraded to handle fighting Ragyo's daughter. She wasn't afraid to use low blows, especially with what Ragyo told Junko. While Ragyo hated blabbermouths, she knew it would be a good way to set off Satsuki if Junko was that desperate.
With Hajime and Ryuko
The siblings pulled pulled on their Seki Tekko and activated their respective Kamui as they ran towards Ragyo.
"Synchronize! Kamui Senketsu/Fenrir!" Ryuko and Hajime shouted.
Once they arrived in front of Ragyo, the white haired woman raised a brow as she looked at their forms. She looked slightly curious by their outfits and not by their actions.
"Your outfits cover up so much skin. I did not realize that Soichiro would make those outfits so conservative given his nature." Ragyo said, expecting the two to look like half naked perverts.
"Soichiro? My dad made these!" Ryuko said as she pointed her weapon at Ragyo.
"Your father?" Ragyo asked, looking genuine confused.
"Ryuko, now's not a good time. We have to end this." Hajime said.
"Right, this is for dad!" Ryuko shouted as she lunged at Ragyo first.
Only for her scissor blade to be blocked by Nui who jumped in the way. As usual, Nui had to be annoying and taunted Ryuko.
"I can't let you do that. You might hurt Lady Ragyo or worse! You might stain her dress!" Nui said.
"To hell with that bitch's dress! She looks like a big breasted clown and you look like a stupid pirate!" Ryuko shouted.
"So mean!" Nui said before pushing Ryuko away.
Nui was about to chase after Ryuko before feeling Hajime hugging her from behind.
"Eh? Is this what they mean by "Make love, not war"? Because this makes me feel all tingly…"
"ULTIMATE HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL WRESTLER!" Hajime yelled as he did a backwards pile-driver with Nui.
As a result, Nui's head crashed against the concrete of the stage. Nui actually gasped in pain as her body tumbled onto her face.
"Hajime! Leave the lolita bitch to me! You can catch up with the clown bitch!" Ryuko shouted as she recovered quickly.
Hajime nodded and sprinted towards Ragyo who still looked content and unwilling to move. The only thing she moved was her head as she just looked at Hajime trying to impale her with the Buster Sword. Rei jumped in of course, she tried to stop Hajime from hurting her master. Rei tried to deal a couple of blows only to be sent crashing into the ground with the blunt end of the Buster Sword.
With a great cry, Hajime jumped into the air and prepared to swing down his sword onto Ragyo. Instead, he only destroyed her chain and half of the stage they were on. Hajime turned around and swung his sword only to find Ragyo dodge the attack with ease.
"Hit her already!" Fenrir roared.
"I'm trying!" Hajime yelled as he swung at Ragyo at breakneck speeds but couldn't hit her.
"You have that look in your eye that your father had." Ragyo said, recognizing Hajime's glare.
Hajime swung down his heavy sword, destroying another portion of the stage as he missed. Ragyo then quickly appeared behind Hajime and swung at his bak with her nails. Only to recoil as she felt the kamui attack her. Ragyo hissed as she held her hand.
"I forget Kamui Fenrir has such an attitude. Unlike its compatriots, it's become too much like a human and become mindlessly aggressive." Ragyo cursed.
"Did that bitch call me a stupid brute?" Fenrir asked with a nasty glare.
Ragyo continued to dodge Hajime's attacks before losing a few strands of hair to the Buster Sword. Ragyo scoffed before clawing at her son's face, sending him stumbling back.
"Why so hostile, my child? Why do you strike your own mother?" Ragyo asked.
"You are not my mother. You are just some sadistic control freak with bad hair." Hajime replied as he raised his sword.
"The hair? Really? Here I assumed you would be better than Satsuki." Ragyo said as she shakes her head. "You are just like her. Self righteous, unaware of what path to follow and you can't even hold a relationship. Not after that video game junkie broke up with you." She said.
Hajime narrowed his eyes but his composure and tried to ignore Ragyo's taunts.
"Then again, she was already broken. Perhaps when this is over, you can see her again. Junko made sure to have improved her mind." Ragyo said with a smirk.
Hajime thrusted his blade at Ragyo again, "Where is Chiaki!?" he angrily asked.
Ragyo just smirked, "Child, she was no good for you. She was a junkie for those virtual games or whatever they are called. You can't expect her to show dedication to anyone but her little simulations." she taunted before looking at Hajime's kamui again. "I can say the same thing about Fenrir. For clothing, all it did was become a hostile creature only capable of understanding violence. That piece of clothing can't feel satisfaction with anyone, no matter how long someone wears him." she said.
"Won't this bitch shut up!?" Fenrir growled as Hajime lunged at Ragyo.
"Too impatient." Ragyo said as she created a web of Life Fibers.
Hajime gritted his teeth as the Life Fibers caught as if he were in an actual web. He then felt Ragyo's ice cold fingers on his body.
"I knew you were my child the moment I felt you. A mother knows these things." Ragyo said as her hands explored Hajime's body.
Hajime shivered as he felt like he was about to be molested. Even Fenrir felt a lot of discomfort and couldn't think without feel violated as well. The two partners pushed through the discomfort before breaking free of the Life Fiber web. Hajime moved his legs with enough strength to the point that spikes in the shape of fangs came out from his boots.
The spikes then started to spin rapidly and cut through the Life Fibers like a chainsaw. Ragyo let go of her son as she avoided being cut by Fenrir's upgrade. Albeit she lost a few threads of her dress which slightly bothered her.
"Why do you keep resisting? You were so well behaved as Izuru." Ragyo asked.
"I'm not Izuru, even then he doesn't care about your plans for humanity's enslavement." Hajime said.
"How unfortunate." Ragyo said before finding herself being covered in a massive shadow. "It has begun. The COVERS have arrived." she said.
Hajime looked up at the sky and immediately looked terrified as he saw the Primordial Life Fiber arrive. He didn't realize that's what it was but he instantly knew this was some apocalyptic level danger. The massive sphere of Life Fibers flew over the sky, practically blocking out the sun and filling the stadium with darkness.
"How are we supposed to stop that?" Hajime asked as his hands trembled.
"Hey, keep it together! Losing your shit now is only going to make it worse!" Fenrir yelled.
With Ryuko
Ryuko was surprising Nui with how much stronger she became. Nui also found it difficult to keep up with Ryuko.
"How are you this strong? You couldn't even touch me last... AUGH!" Nui cried as Ryu kneed her in the chest.
"That's because I'm a lot stronger and I'm not going to lose my mind with all of your taunting!" Ryuko said.
"They weren't taunts! They were the truth!" Nui replied. "Besides, you don't even know the whole story. Like how Lady Ragyo ordered me to kill your dad. Satsuki lied about doing anything with him. In fact, she probably doesn't even anything except that's he's an ex-scientist of hers." she said, hoping to goad Ryuko some more.
Ryuko just scoffed as she stabbed Nui in the shoulder, "That just tells me who deserve a worse beating!" she yelled.
"AHHH!" Nui screamed in pain. "Mon-Mignon Prêt-à-Porter!" she shouted as she created copies of herself in an attempt to run away.
"You won't escape from me!" Ryuko yelled as she destroyed each clone swiftly.
"That's not fair! How come you became super tough!?" Nui angrily asked as she swung her Scissor Blade at Ryuko.
Ryuko blocked the blow and locked Nui in an uncomfortable spot. Despite the fact that Nui had the physical stats of a Looney Tunes character, she found herself in a position that made her fighting very difficult. Because she fights like a cartoon character, she relied on her inhuman abilities to take advantage of her foes. In a normal sword fight, Nui is nowhere near as skilled as Satsuki, Peko, Munkata or even Sanageyama.
"If it helps your teeny tiny brain. I have a little brother who is a badass while you have a fetish for old hags." Ryuko taunted.
For reference, Ryuko had to train herself instead of relying on Senketsu to give her a boost or a new powerup. As such, Ryuko would briefly train with Hajime on occasion and even with Peko. Although she didn't take it seriously until after Nui stripped her of Senketsu. Forcing the two students to up her training despite the short time.
"Don't you dare talk that way about Lady Ragyo!" Nui screamed before feeling her arm being cut off. "MY ARM!" she screamed as her Scissor Blade flew in the air and landed somewhere in the battlefield.
Ryuko smirked as she looked around for the other Scissor Blade but it was obscured due to the fighting.
"DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW IMPORTANT JUST ONE OF MY ARMS IS!?" Nui screamed.
"That's why I cut it off, stupid." Ryuko said.
Nui just laughed, "Kidding, I can just pop them back in like a Lego." she said as her arm returned.
"WHAT!?" Ryuko screamed. "Let's see if you can do that with your head!" she yelled as she prepared to decapitate Nui.
Nui continued to laugh, "You wanna bet?" she asked before looking up. "Uh oh, no more time to play. The COVERS are here!" she said.
"The what?" Ryuko asked before noticing the suits in the sky. "Oh crap..." she cursed.
With Satsuki
Satsuki was having a frustrating time with Junko. As she was closer to winning, she couldn't help but feel concerned with Junko's great strength. Satsuki believed that her mother further modified Junko as there was no way Junko would dedicate herself to training in her newfound powers. Still, Satsuki refused to give up no matter how much stronger Junko was.
'She is merely a pest. An entire hive of pests in the shape of a woman.' Satsuki thought before cutting Junko's fingers.
"Okay, ouch. I've broken a nail, but you just cut off all of my fingers." Junko said, sounding annoyed.
"I am done playing games with you!" Satsuki yelled as she tried slicing Junko's torso off.
Instead of a clean cut, Satsuki felt a lot of hesitation in her sudden strike. In fact, she almost lost her footing and nearly fell as she felt her blade get stuck. She looked and saw Junko gritting her teeth in pain as she held the blade that was stuck in her stomach.
"This hurts like a bitch." Junko said as she kept the sword stuck in her gut. "I bet Mukuro would feel excited feeling this." she said, thinking her sister to be a masochist.
Satsuki tried pushing her sword deeper into her enemy's gut but Junko kept it in place. Seeing how much time she was wasting, Satsuki had to resort to other tactics.
"I would never say this outloud, but I do admit to having flaws." Satsuki said.
"Wow! Ms. Perfect Dictator has flaws? Shocking!" Junko said sarcastically as blood runs down her mouth.
"My mistake is that I have neglected practicing fighting with my hands and just my sword." Satsuki said before punching Junko across the face.
Junko growled, "My mistake is not letting Mukuro kill you the first time!" she yelled as she punched Satsuki back with one arm.
"As if that puppet had the ability." Satsuki responded before punching Junko again
"How many times do I have to repeat myself? Mukuro likes it!" Junko yelled before punching Satsuki again.
The two punched each other back and forth before a large Monokuma shaped mecha arrived. The girls were too busy punching each other to notice that Monaca was piloting the mecha.
"Leave Monaca's big sister alone!" Monaca yelled as she slapped Satsuki with the arm of the mecha.
Satsuki went rolling against the ground as she looked up and saw the mecha. Monaca glared at Satsuki who tried to lunge at her. Monaca pressed a couple of buttons that activated a shield that electrocuted Satsuki upon impact. Once Satsuki hit the ground again, Monaca proceeded to pound Satsuki repeatedly until she created a ten meter long crater.
"This is what you get for hurting Monaca's big sister!" Monaca screamed before punching Satsuki several more times with the mecha.
The punches stopped once Satsuki had enough. She raised her arms to stop the attack before gripping the mecha's arm, keeping Monaca in place. Satsuki then used all of her strength to rip off the arm, causing Monaca to stumble backwards.
"Children should know to behave and not interrupt situations where they are a hindrance!" Satsuki yelled as she wiped the blood from her mouth.
"Monaca is not a hindrance! Monaca is..."
"Take five Monaca. The cavalry has arrived." Junko said as she looked up at the sky.
The green haired girl watched the COVERS in awe as they arrived. She watched them as if she was witnessing angels descending upon the earth. Monaca could only watch with great pleasure as she saw the COVERS abducting many One Star students and spectators from the arena.
"What is this called, big sister?" Monaca asked.
"This Monaca, is called the rapture." Junko answered.
Satsuki glared at Junko and reached for her sword only to notice it in Junko's hands. Just as Satsuki was about to prepare for a physical assault. She heard several footsteps behind her and saw her Four Divas.
"My Four Divas, I see you have returned victorious albeit a few injuries. No matter, we must put an end to Enoshima." Satsuki said before watching as Mukuro came from behind them.
"They are no longer yours. They belong to my sister." Mukuro said as Satsuki noticed that her four most loyal subordinates looked like zombies.
"You manipulated them! Stripped them of their free will!" Satsuki yelled before being punched across the face by Gamagori. "Gamagori! Snap out of this trance at once!" she yelled before Sanageyama kicked her from behind.
"I will not repeat myself." Mukuro said before watching as the four were about to beat down Satsuki.
"Hang on there! She's all mine!" Junko shouted, making Mukuro blush.
"Yes sister! My mistake!" Mukuro said.
With the Ultimates
"Asahina!" Sakura screamed as she tried to save Aoi from the COVERS.
Aoi screamed for help but Sakura was suddenly stopped by several COVERS that had already devoured some humans. Once devoured, the COVERS took on bulky forms that were very strong.
"Out of my way!" Sakura yelled as she tried punching as many as they can.
"Unhand me sentient fabric!" Gundham yelled as his hamsters tried to free him.
"NO! YOU CAN'T TAKE AWAY MY BEST FRIEND!" Kiyotaka screamed as he trying to pull Mondo away.
"Ishimaru, let go!" Mondo yelled.
"NO! I'm not leaving you! I can't let everyone be taken away!" Kiyotaka yelled.
Mondo cursed, "I'm sorry bro." he said before punching Kiyotaka with enough force to send him flying a few meters. "It's you or me, but not both of us!" he yelled with tears in his eyes.
Despite being opposites, the hall monitor and delinquent somehow found themselves to be friends during the past few months. It only hurt as Kiyotaka watched his friend be devoured by sentient clothes.
"...you never listen. Fine then! I will try to save everyone else!" Kiyotaka yelled before running with tears in his eyes.
Elsewhere, Komaru Naegi could be seen being surrounded by several COVERS. What made things worse is the fact that they destroyed her megaphone during the fight.
"Please work. Please work." Komaru pleaded as she slapped her megaphone.
"Are you still using that piece of junk?" Toko asked as she suddenly appeared.
Seconds later, Komaru watched as the COVERS fell down lifelessly. All the while Toko was flashing her new scissors.
"The boss lady better make it out alive. These scissors are getting rusty." Toko said with Genocider Jill's personality. "Also, Kirigiri is trying to get everyone to regroup and you're coming too." she said before lifting Komaru over her shoulder.
"What about Makoto? Where is he?" Komaru asked, feeling worried about her brother.
"Around the corner somewhere, I think." Toko said as she rapidly ran across the battlefield.
All the while Komaru could see her brother's classmates and members of Class 77 being taken away by the COVERS.
"Toko, Satsuki has a plan for this right? Right?" Komaru nervously asked.
"Eh..."
"Like some kind of contingency or back up maybe?" Komaru asked.
"You're barking up the wrong tree." Toko said, having no idea what to tell her.
With Naegi
Makoto was watching in horror as he saw the insanity going on around him. Death and destruction was one thing but this was pure subjugation in the worst way possible. As Makoto looked around, he could see Satsuki's forces were crumbling like a cookie and several of his classmates were taken away.
"Hey look, if it isn't the peeping tom!"
Makoto turned and saw Junko dragging Satsuki by her hair. Makoto could only watch in horror as he saw Satsuki's battered body as Junko happily dragged her like she was luggage.
"Hey there, I didn't think you would last that long but then again I forgot you're the lucky guy. It's cool, you get to see Satsuki here lose her throne to me." Junko said gleefully.
Makoto's hands curled into fists as he rushed at Junko. Using his Goku Uniform, his physique was enhanced and he soon found himself within Junko's personal space. As Makoto tried to hit Junko, he found himself being kicked away by Mukuro.
"Do not touch my sister." Mukuro said as the Four Divas followed her.
Makoto looked shocked, "Guys, we gotta help Satsuki." he said.
The Four didn't respond to Makoto as they were still under Ragyo's control despite Mukuro's earlier claims. All Makoto could do was watch as the four surrounded Makoto with Mukuro switching her gun into heavy caliber mode before aiming for Makoto's forehead. Makoto grunted as he couldn't think of a way out.
When suddenly, a random flash of light hit Mukuro's eyes and the Ultimate Soldier moved her gun's barrel by a couple of degrees. Mukuro didn't register this feeling before firing, resulting in Makoto taking cover as the bullet ricocheted off a loose piece of stone from the stadium. The bullet bounced around before hitting different corners of the Four Divas and eventually hitting Mukuro in the gut. Ending with Mukuro collapsing on her back as she dropped her gun.
"...my own luck even scares me sometimes." Makoto said before checking on the Four Divas.
"Ow my head!" Sanageyama yelled as he was the first to recover.
"Sanageyama, you have to help me! Satsuki is in trouble!" Makoto said.
"What!?" Sanageyama asked.
Suddenly Gamagori rose up like a zombie, "She is in danger!? Point me towards the offender!" he commanded.
"J-Junko E-Enoshima!" Makoto stuttered as he pointed at the girl.
"ENOSHIMA!" Gamagori roared as the rest of the Divas stirred awake.
"I've had it up to here with that bitch!" Jakuzure screamed as she winced in pain. "Naegi help me up!" he yelled.
"Okay!" Makoto said as he lifted her arm over his shoulder.
"Naegi, by any chance do you know who is left of your class?" Inamuta asked as he tried activating a device on his wrist.
"I'm sorry, I am not really sure. But I did see who got taken away. Hifumi, Celestia, Leon and I think I heard Mondo being taken away. Maybe Aoi too." Makoto said as Inamuta registered the list of casualties.
"This is unfortunate, we will have to retreat once we obtain Lady Satsuki. Preferably without the soldier attempting to execute us all." Inamuta said as Mukuro stood up again.
Mukuro extended her hand as her fingers turned into blades. Makoto really hated how he was always stuck in situations where Mukuro would always target him.
"I remember a time when I just won the raffle for a good education. All I wanted to do was graduate and find a nice job." Makoto said with a sad sigh.
"Stop crying!" Jakuzure yelled as tick mark appeared on her forehead.
At the stage
Ragyo slammed her son onto the ground and stabbed her heel into his back. Taking pleasure as she dug into his back while also hearing Fenrir screech in pain. As Ragyo kept Hajime down, she saw Satsuki being dropped before her.
"Special delivery for Lady Ragyo. One spoiled ungrateful brat with an attitude." Junko said in a delighted tone.
Satsuki glared at her mother while ignoring the extreme pain she felt. Even ignoring the greater pain she felt from Ragyo lifting her by the head.
"Satsuki, I thought I taught you better than to wear clothes that don't fit you." Ragyo said as she gripped Satsuki's cheeks with her other hand. "You made a mistake wearing Junketsu!" she said before punching her daughter across the face.
Satsuki gasped as she felt a lot of pain from the punch. Ragyo let go of her grip on Satsuki, allowing her to stand with some difficulty. Satsuki gritted her teeth and reached for her sword but was barraged with several punches from Ragyo.
"It's only because of Junketsu that you are here! You wouldn't last a minute without it! It's the reason you have the nerve to rebel against me!" Ragyo yelled as she repeatedly punched Satsuki.
Satsuki stumbled backwards before finally drawing Bakuzan once again, "I've heard enough of your garbage!" she yelled as she tried to stab her mother.
Ragyo caught Bakuzan by the sharp edge and crushed it. Not even she showed any sign of damage from so much as touching the sword. A weapon crafted solely for slicing through Life Fibers whether they are clothes or sentients with human behavior.
"My garbage you say? Very well, let me get rid of it!" Ragyo yelled as she ripped Satsuki out of the uniform and tossed her across the arena into a wall.
"Wow, you lift bra?" Junko asked with wide eyes.
Ragyo sighed as she cleaned the blood off of her knuckles, "Don't have children, Junko dear." she said as she started taking off her dress. "Synchronize! Kamui Junketsu!" she shouted.
"Oh my gosh, you actually look like you're wearing it instead of the other way around." Junko complimented.
"Thank you dear." Ragyo said, knowing what Junko meant by that metaphor.
Satsuki talked about how proud she is to be nearly naked if it meant having her dreams fulfilled. Ragyo thought of it as something pathetic because it meant her daughter was desperate and could not find any real strength on her own. Sure obtaining Junketsu was one thing but it was another thing to rely on it as a weapon instead of a partner.
While Ragyo was disgusted by Fenrir, she can at least see that Hajime works with the Kamui to work as one. Even Ryuko showed the same thing but on a greater level.
"RAGYO!"
And speaking of Ryuko.
Ragyo looked up to see Ryuko flying right towards her with her Scissor Blade aimed for her neck. Ragyo was about to stop her just as she stopped Satsuki earlier. When she suddenly felt a sharp pain in her leg that felt like a bad cramp. That's when Ragyo realized that her leg was chopped off by Hajime who was now in his underwear.
"What? How?" Ragyo asked.
"The two of you gotta kill her now!" Fenrir yelled as he stood from another spot.
"What the heck? Did the uniform grab that loser's sword?" Junko asked, distracted by how Fenrir got free.
Ragyo was too distracted by the sudden attack and attempted to reconnect her leg. Allowing Ryuko to have a free shot at decapitating her.
"This is for my dad, you witch!" Ryuko yelled as Ragyo's head came flying off. "Hajime, help me finish her off. She might heal like... augh!" she cried out.
"AH!" Hajime screamed.
Junko was about to step in when she saw Ragyo's damaged body managing to keep it's balance. Ragyo's arms had stabbed themselves into Ryuko and Hajime's chests and pulled out their hearts, revealing them to be made of Life Fibers. Ragyo chuckled as a Life Fiber attached to her neck had pulled her head back on.
"Now isn't this a surprise. The boy I know very well about, but you Matoi. It took me some time to realize it." Ragyo said. "Soichirou saved you before he went into hiding. As he did with the boy. All three of my children are alive." she said.
Ryuko wanted to vomit, "And here I thought the only disgusting thing was being related to Satsuki." she said as she glared at Ragyo.
"Eh!? This is some bomb shell level stuff! How are you not more shocked!?" Junko angrily asked.
Ryuko growled, "I pieced it together when I learned this pasty guy was my little brother." she answered.
"He was generated and birthed while I was pregnant with you. This boy is your older brother." Ragyo suddenly said.
Ryuko could only feel annoyed by the fact that everyone called her the little sister.
Ryuko groaned, "Now even this evil psycho bitch is arguing with me!?" she asked. "Listen here you albino psychopath! I am not your daughter, Hajime is not your son and we're not your Life Fiber puppets or whatever it is you made us to be!" she screamed.
"Ryuko don't be like that. You are the perfect blend of human DNA and Life Fibers. A more delicate yet perfected version of what Hajime is supposed to be, albeit a few kinks." Ragyo said.
Ryuko was truly disgusted by Ragyo and she was glad her father saved her life. Even if Soichiro/Isshin was cold and distant, he cared for his children and had to prepare them for the worst. She tried to push off the thought that she was some kind of Life Fiber monster and focused only on Ragyo and her brother.
"The only issue is that we have a piece of you within us." Hajime said as he gripped Ragyo's wrist. "Ragyo Kiryuin, if there is only one good thing you ever accomplished. It's making my little sister." he said before tossing his sword high into the air.
"Yes, that is the point I tried to make." Ragyo said, ignoring any sentimental meaning behind Hajime's words.
"But that's also where your misfortune comes in." Hajime said while pointing at the sky.
"What? Do you think throwing your weapon into the air will help? I know very well of your father's weapons. Throwing a massive sword like a lawn dart won't do you any good." Ragyo said before hearing a series of clanking and yelps in the distance.
Ragyo never cared much for the Ultimates as she saw them as just kids who are very special at one thing. Even if Hajime had been implanted with a variety of unique and pointless skills. She couldn't comprehend what Hajime could do.
"Is this the power of the Ultimate Hope?" Ragyo asked with a smirk.
"The Ultimate Luck." Hajime answered.
"I like to call it, Looney Tunes magic." Ryuko spoke up.
The trio could continue to hear various noises before the sword came down and severed Ragyo's hold on Ryuko. Then a series of junko started crashing all over the stadium like meteors. Then this insanity ended with the entire stage blowing up in a massive explosion.
'I think I overestimated his fortune.' Ragyo thought as she was separated from Hajime in the explosion.
Luckily for Hajime, Fenrir caught him and started dragging him away.
"Did you cause that explosion? Your powers are too confusing." Fenrir said as he dragged Hajime from the massive fire.
Unknown to anyone, it was caused by Satsuki in a last ditch effort to kill Ragyo. The explosion was so big that it engulfed most of the stadium and everyone who hasn't been caught or tried to evacuate was already running away. Leaving the ferocious Kamui on his own to drag Hajime who had lost consciousness.
"Damn it! Now isn't a good time for a nap!" Fenrir yelled as he kept dragging Hajime until he ran into Mataro.
"H-Hey, Hajime!" Mataro cried out.
"Kid, help me drag his ass!" Fenrir yelled while gesturing to Hajime.
Mataro couldn't hear Fenrir's voice but had some idea of what the kamui was trying to tell him. Mataro used all his strength and lifted Hajime's upper torso over his back.
"Now is a really bad time for Hajime to take a nap." Mataro said as he dragged Hajime out of the stadium. "Those things took my big sister and I think most of those other guys are gone too." he said.
Fenrir growled as he felt like everyone abandoned him. He wouldn't be open minded about the situation until much later when the fires died down. As the COVERS would end up taking over the city and end up devouring the citizens of this within a couple of weeks and likely the whole prefecture within a month or two.
"I hope the guys already set up shelter." Mataro said while thinking of his fellow delinquents.
While they are weak idiots, Mataro and his gang are clever boys and have figured out ways to survive the streets. Although none of them were prepared for the apocalypse where they were being devoured by clothes from outer space. Then again there was that time the city was attacked by people during The Tragedy, but those were just insane mobs of people.
"Hey kid, do you need help?" someone asked.
Mataro looked up and saw an injured looking Makoto standing nearby.
"You're one of Satsuki's cronies!" Mataro said.
"That doesn't matter! Right now, there are no sides and we need to get out of this together!" Makoto said.
Mataro narrowed his eyes, "If you wanna help, carry Hajime but if you do something to me or him. This uniform is going to shank your ass." he said while pointing at Fenrir.
"I will do worse." Fenrir said.
"Okay fine, let's go." Makoto said as he lifted Hajime over his shoulder.
Both leaving the stadium with fire on their trail.
A month later
Makoto was running through the empty streets of Honno city. It wasn't any more pretty before the attack, but it only looked worse as there was no life except for the COVERS patrolling the streets. What's worse is that his Goku Uniform was slowly falling apart with each passing day. Still, despite how terrified he is of being alone. Makoto wanted to put himself in the line of danger rather than Mataro and his friends as they had no ability to fight the COVERS.
"I feel like every thread on my body is about to break apart." Makoto said as he ran through the backstreets. "There's gotta be something edible here. Assuming I don't get caught in a trap." he said.
Along with the COVERS, another danger was the city itself but not because it was old and in disrepair. The citizens of Honno city weren't very good people and would leave traps in their homes and properties. At one point, Makoto almost lost his head to a thread that was connected to a shotgun trap. At least not every inch of the city was booby trapped.
"Sweet, some meat and it still looks fresh. Well, fresh but it needs to be cooked." Makoto said as he stuffed a lot of meat into a plastic bag. "I guess I can go home early." he said before looking deeper.
Unfortunately, this lead to Hajime accidentally triggering another trap. Luckily the trap didn't hit him but a pair of COVERS that were floating behind him.
*SNAP*
"Eh?" Makoto asked as several kitchen knives flew over his head.
He looked back and saw the COVERS being impaled into a wall behind him. Makoto immediately lifted the bag over his shoulder and began to run as quickly as possible. Only for several more COVERS to arrive and surround him.
"Get away!" Makoto yelled as he kicked them away.
Makoto then lifted up Hajime's Buster Sword and slashed at the COVERS. Although not without difficulty as the Goku Uniform's strength enhancement didn't do much to help him. The sword was just too big and hard to use for the boy who had little experience fighting and using weapons. Still, an armed man is more dangerous than an unarmed man.
"I won't let you follow me either!" Makoto said as he destroyed the Life Fibers attaching the COVERS to the sky.
Once done, Hajime started making his way back to the base camp where Mataro and his friends set up. However, luck worked against Makoto as he found himself tripping over a large thread made from Life Fibers. Resulting in the boy falling over a stone rail and landing near a river.
"That hurt." Makoto said as the Buster Sword landed next to his head, nearly decapitating him. "Hajime-san, please wake up soon." he said.
For some reason, Hajime still hasn't woken up and that left Makoto as the sole fighter of Mataro's camp. Seeing as how Makoto's Life Fiber wasn't any more capable of battle than the average One Star student. Makoto had to use the sword to defeat the COVERS more quickly.
"We're lucky a coma is the only problem." Makoto said as he got up and tried to pick up the sword.
Only to feel several Life Fibers wrap around his wrist and pull him back. Makoto shouted in fear as more COVERS arrived and tried to devour him. With all his effort, Makoto tried kicking them away as well as tried to pry off the Life Fibers attached his wrist. When his Goku Uniform finally gave up and left him half naked and open to be eaten.
"Crap!" Makoto cursed as he closed his eyes.
That's when he heard several gunshots towards his direction. Makoto opened his eyes and found himself falling to the ground.
"Naegi." a familiar voice called out.
"That voice. Kirigiri?" Makoto aksed as he found the Ultimate Detective standing over him. "Thank goodness! I thought you and everyone else... uh.." he stopped and blushed.
Makoto noticed that Kirigiri was only wearing a beret, military boots and several military belts and harnesses that covered her private areas. In total, it only covered about 20% of her total body. What made it worse was the fact that Makoto had luck to realize that Kirigiri had a more proportionate body underneath the jacket she always wore.
"Naegi, there is no use in looking away. Everyone is forced to wear this once we had to discard our uniforms." Kiyoko said, ignoring the fact that Makoto can see her body.
"Right." Makoto said.
Before remembering he was only wearing a muscle shirt and his underwear. This felt even more embarrassing as a pretty girl saw him like this. At least it's better that a stoic girl like Kiyoko saw her rather than Sayaka or a more energetic girl.
"Don't worry, you can cover yourself with this." Kiyoko said as she pulled out a bag.
It only had military boots and a harness fit for anti Life Fiber weapons. The only good thing about this is Makoto won't get his feet wet from the downpour.
A while later
Makoto led the Ultimate Detective back to Mataro's camp where he delivered the meat. The boys eagerly got to work on cooking as Makoto explained the situation including Hajime's coma.
"This is indeed problematic. We were hoping he was in good shape." Kiyoko said.
"I know, but medicine is low and we don't know what to do with him." Makoto said.
Kiyoko then pulled out a radio from her harness, "Don't stress yourself about it. There are plenty of competent resources at the base." she said.
"The base?" Makoto asked.
"I was looking for refugees along with Jakuzure. I can contact Nudist Beach and have them extract everyone here." Kiyoko said.
Makoto snickered, "Then I'm even more happy that you're here." he said.
Kiyoko looked away as she tuned her radio, hiding a small smile on her face when Makoto told her that.
As they spoke, Fenrir was standing over Hajime like a wolf defending its territory.
Meanwhile, at Honnoji Academy
Chiaki Nanami was hanging by her arms in a cell with the Life Fibers wrapped around her mouth. She was feeling a sense of hopelessness as she hanged in the dark cell, feeling despair and anxiety. Yet, her face only showed a lack of empathy and anyone else would have assumed that she had just given up on living.
Chiaki's mind trailed off to when she argued with Hajime and it led to them breaking up. Chiaki was thankful to Satsuki and defended her, but deep down she had her doubts. In the end, Satsuki was right with her methods despite how much colder she became but it didn't matter. Chiaki betrayed Satsuki, practically breaking before things got much worse when Junko had returned. Now she subjected to being mentally tortured by Junko and her weird Monukuma robots.
Whenever Chiaki did show visible emotion, it was from the pain she felt from her forehead. She could still feel the stitches from the "surgery" Monokuma performed on her. It was an early attempt at testing the Life Fiber's ability to control the minds of others, but there was already a less painful and more efficient way as seen during Ragyo's assault. Still, it just seemed like Junko needed a reason to hurt someone.
'Why am I still here? Is there anyone left out there?' Chiaki wondered as she knew about the COVERS.
As part of the torture, Junko went on in detail to explain Ragyo's plot just to terrify her more. Leaving Chiaki horrified and constantly wondering how many of her friends were devoured by sentient clothes.
"Chiaki Nanami." a familiar voice sad.
Chiaki looked towards her cell door and saw it being kicked down. There she saw Satsuki marching into her cell, naked with her long hair covering her extremities and with multiple wounds around her body. Chiaki could see that Satsuki's wrists were bound together by chains, meaning Satsuki's indomitable will had not broken despite the dire situation.
This also meant Satsuki was escaping her prison but for some reason decided to stop by.
"Mmm?" Chiaki asked, slowly feeling fearful.
"It's a surprise to see that someone devoted to my cause had suddenly backed out to leak information to a traitor. I doubt you have any information left for my mother to take. So it alludes me as to why you are here and not inside of a COVER." Satsuki said as she approached chiaki.
Chiaki suddenly looked fearful as Satsuki approached her. She knew she was in for punishment, but could not help to cower as she imagined that Satsuki would hurt her even more than Junko could. Instead, Chiaki's chains were broken and she fell to her knees.
"Mmm?" Chiaki mumbled with a confused look on her face.
"There is no use in executing a traitor. You can redeem yourself by escaping and helping me restore my forces." Satsuki said.
Chiaki looked surprised but nodded once she got to her feet. Just as she was about to leave her cell. Satsuki gripped the Ultimate Gamer by her shoulder as tightly as possible.
"Another thing, you will break up with my brother and never see him again." Satsuki said.
Now Chiaki was confused more than ever.
'Did the torture and isolation damage her head?' Chiaki mentally asked.
"You are confused, then it seems that Hinata had not told you or was not aware of this information yet." Satsuki said as she let go of Chiaki. "I cannot go into details regarding Hajime Hinata's origins, but I had learned that he along with Ryuko Matoi are my siblings." she said.
'She is definitely damaged in the head.' Chiaki thought.
She knew about Ryuko being Hajime's sister because Hajime told her about the test and shared the results, but Satsuki didn't make any sense. Satsuki didn't look like Hajime and Chiaki is sure that there are lots of dar haired girls with blue eyes like Ryuko.
"I will explain it when there is time. For now, consider yourself unworthy of dating my little brother." Satsui said, leaving Chiaki feeling fearful and confused.
With all that had gone on, no one could blame Chiaki for questioning Satsuki's sanity.
