Guest, June 28th- I've heard of that game, but I've never played it. But I like the idea so I'll keep it in mind for the future. Thank you.

Airchampion: I don't know about the abridged version, but the remake would make a great one-shot. Thanks for the suggestion.

Cj- Yes, I'll continue the theater version in a month or so. As for this one, it'll involve source material from all kinds of media, not just video games. Finally, "Jaws" would make a great adaptation, if not a full version than a one-shot version.

Yawar- I won't spoil anything, but I'm definitely going to publish more Bioshock chapters in the future.

dragonking9746: Not to worry, my friend. I planned to adapt Bioshock up to the final boss.

Straw Hat PiratesFan2023: I didn't know much about "Gargoyles", but that sounds like a great idea. If you have a favorite episode of "Gargoyles", I'd be glad to write an adaptation of it.

Fallout-Man101: I'm not going to spoil anything.

ultima-owner: You can say that again. The sooner it heals up, the better.

thfire21: I'm always open to ideas. To be honest, though, I haven't watched "Doomsday" yet. I'll have to give it a watch before I consider adapting it. As for COD, I'll definitely make an adaptation of one of the games.

Yang34: I've never played "Nightmare Creatures", but, as a survival horror fan, it sounds like an interesting concept, especially from what you're telling me. And I like your casting ideas. I'll definitely think about it.

"I just want to say, I'm not a big fan of musicals," Qrow said.

"That's too bad, drunk. My sister is," Winter sneered, prompting Qrow to wave dismissively.

The viewing opened to a nighttime view exterior view of the Kellerman's resort, a luxurious mountain hotel on Mountain Glenn, Vale.

"Where is this, Gold-Sith?" Ruby asked as she ordered a cup of strawberries.

"The Kellerman's resort, a high-end hotel built on Mountain Glenn," Gold-Sith answered.

"Mountain Glenn, you say? Then I take it there are no Grimm here," Oobleck said somberly, reminded of the incident at Mountain Glenn.

"Lucky them," Port sighed, feeling a bit envious. "It was a terrible thing to have happened in our version of Mountain Glenn,

Weiss decided to change the subject. "It does look rather nice. But it has a old-fashioned feeling to it," she commented on the classic appearance of the Kellermans.

"Perhaps this takes place earlier in time as well," Ozpin assumed, ordering a refill for his coffee.

Inside the resort's theater, the end-of-the-season talent show was being held. Many guests were seated in two rows of seats or at small tables. On stage was a chorus group standing in a row. In the middle of the stage stood Whitley Schnee, singing into a microphone while piano music played over the stage's speaker system.

Kellerman's we come together singing all as one

We have shared another seasons talent, play and fun

Summer days will soon be over, soon the autumn starts

And tonight our memories whisper softly in our hearts

"Whitley?" Weiss and Winter said together in surprise.

Ruby pointed at the screen, "That's him? Your little brother?" she asked, having heard of Whitley from Weiss before.

The Schnee sisters both nodded with neutral expressions, not happy nor unhappy to see their brother onscreen. He was, after all, shaping up to be a miniature version of Jacques.

"Is he as good a singer in real life as he is here?" Yang questioned.

"Yes. But he'll never be as good as me," Weiss said pridefully.

"Even so, his singing is quite soothing," Penny commented with a smile.

"I agree," Winter said, swaying slightly to her brothers singing.

The entire chorus joined in to sing the next set of lyrics alongside Whitley.

Join hands and hearts and voices

Voices, hearts and hands

At Kellerman's the friendships last long

As the mountains stand

Sitting at a corner table was Pyrrha Nikos in a red gown. Flanking her were Thetis and Dr. Peleus Nikos, her mother and father respectively. [2]

"There's me. And my parents too," Pyrrha pointed out, pleased to see her parents onscreen.

"You really take after them, P-Money," Yang commented, noting Peleus's green eyes and Thetis' red hair.

In the back of the theater stood many young people. They were composed of the hotel's staffing, visitors, or members of its dance club. Among them were Ren, Nora, Weiss, and Neptune. Most of them had wistful looks on their faces as they wondered if they'd see each other again next summer.

"There's so many of us there," Ren noticed, glad to see himself and Nora together onscreen.

"We don't look very happy, though," Nora remarked, slowly eating a slice of pancake.

But one of the youngsters looked outright saddened. She was a young woman with wavy, dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. She sighed as she watched the talent show.

Jaune leaned forward, his eyes widening in surprise. "Saphron?"

Pyrrha turned to Jaune. "You know her?"

Jaune nodded with a smile. "She's one of my sisters."

Velvet's ears drooped a bit. "Why does she look so sad?"

"Yeah. What's with all the long faces?" Sun wondered as he munched on some popcorn.

One of the chorus singers, Blake Belladonna, stepped forward while wearing a tropical outfit to deliver the next set of lyrics with hand gestures. [1]

Daytime, nighttime, any hour whether rain or shine

Games and lectures, talks and music happily combine

In the audience, Blake's parents, Ghira and Kali exchanged proud smiles for their daughter's singing talents.

Blake smiled to see her parents onscreen, though she hadn't expected to see counterpart singing.

"So those are your parents," Ruby realized with a smile.

"You've got a nice set of pipes there, kitty," Yang complimented her partner's signing.

"But why are you dressed like that?" Sun questioned, not that he was complaining.

"It's her costume from her act in the talent show," Gold-Sith answered.

While the chorus sang on, Cardin Winchester, a waiter working at the resort, strolled in while dressed in a checkered suit jacket. He walked past the Nikos families table.

Peleus stood up and approached Cardin. "Cardin. Good luck in medical school, son," he said as he pulled out a letter of recommendation and handed it to Cardin.

"Oh no. What is he doing here?" Velvet groaned upon seeing her past bully.

"Cardin is a waiter at the Kellerman's. He's also attending Vale University with aspirations to become a doctor," Gold-Sith explained.

"That explains why he looks a bit older here," Ren observed Cardin's appearance.

"That lout becoming a doctor? I highly doubt it," Weiss scoffed while shaking her head.

Cardin smiled and nodded. "And I wanted to thank you for your help with the Velvet situation. I guess we've all gotten into messes," he said smugly.

Peleus' smile vanished. "What?"

"I thought Pyrrha told you," Cardin chuckled nervously.

Penny tilted her head slightly. "Hmm? What does he mean by that?" she asked.

"Well…it's a long story," Gold-Sith said sadly. "To put it shortly, Velvet is also attending Vale university. But then she got involved with Cardin, who abandoned you after getting you pregnant. Pyrrha later stole some money from her father to give to Velvet for an abortion."

Gasps of shock and outrage filled the theater at the revelation. Velvet herself gaped in disgust at her counterpart getting involved with a cretin like Cardin.

Coco's hand crushed the fortunately empty soda cup she was holding. "He did what?!" she shouted.

"That scumbag!" Yang shouted, her eyes turning red with fury.

"How dare he!" Pyrrha growled.

"Despicable," Glynda hissed, prompting nods from the others.

"Look, I'm not sure. Velvet said so, but you know with girls like that," Cardin tried to dodge the blame. "They're liable to pin it on any guy around."

But Peleus didn't buy it for a second as he furiously snatched the letter from the Cardin's hand and put in back into his coat pocket before returning to his table.

Most of the audience applauded Peleus' actions onscreen, especially Velvet and Coco.

"You go, dad," Pyrrha cheered her father's counterpart.

"No medical school for you, scumbag!" Coco hollered at the screen; glad Cardin was getting some karma for his sordid behavior.

"Why on Remnant would I ever date someone like him anyway?" Velvet questioned her counterpart with disgust.

"Cardin is one of those silver-tongued rich boys who manipulates women and ditches them after going to bed with them. They're nothing but sexual conquests for him," Gold-Sith explained.

"Ugh. Men like that make me sick!" Weiss grimaced, eliciting nods from the rest of the girls.

Meanwhile, backstage, Max Kellerman was watching the performance with a smile on his face. One of the resort's musicians, Tito, approached him from the side.

"Hey, Max. What's up with you?" Tito asked his boss.

"Finished. You and me, Tito. We've seen it all, eh?" Kellerman replied. "Bubbah and Zeda serving the first pasteurized milk to the boarders. Through the Great War when we didn't have any meat. Through the Depression when we didn't have anything."

"Lots of changes, though, Max," Tito countered Max's words.

Kellerman rubbed his face. "It's not the changes so much this time. It's that it all seems to be ending. You think kids want to come with their parents and take fox-trot lessons? Trips to Mistral, that's what the kids want. Three kingdoms in three days. It feels like it's all slipping away."

"Remarkable. Kellerman has survived some very tough times in history," Oobleck said, impressed.

"And he has a right to be concerned about his resort. The increase in airship travel certainly made big changes in the vacation industry," Ozpin remarked, sipping his coffee.

"Hopefully Mr. Kellerman won't suffer any serious business problems as a result," Penny said.

But the heartbeats of vacation

There no cares are seen

Kellerman stepped onto the stage, a spotlight focusing on him. "So, let's join in just one last chorus. Visitors, staff and guests. What we've shared won't be forgotten. Old friends are the best," he announced in a sing-song voice.

Half the crowd seemed to be enjoying the chorus. The other half looked bored, though. At her own table, Pyrrha stared longingly at the stage. In fact, she looked disappointed.

"You don't seem very happy to be there, Pyrrha," Jaune noted sadly.

Pyrrha nodded, frowning. "You're right, Jaune. I wonder what's wrong? Besides what happened to Velvet."

Just then, a young man with a blonde mullet entered the building dressed in an all-black outfit consisting of a leather biker jacket, slacks, leather dress shoes, and a partially open polo shirt that exposed part of his chest.

"Look, there's you Jaune!" Pyrrha exclaimed as she ogled her not-so-secret crush in his outfit.

"Wha-that's me?" Jaune said in surprise, noting how different his counterpart looked from his true self, though it was undoubtedly him.

"Hubba, hubba!" Yang said softly, biting her lower lip, earning a jealous glare from Pyrrha.

"Yang!" Ruby chided her sister, although she had to admit to herself that Jaune was attractive.

"I-I…" Weiss stammered before turning away blushing, trying not to ogle Jaune as well.

Coco lowered her shades. "You really know how to pull off the bad boy look, Jaune" she commented on Jaune's fashion choice.

"I hope Mr. Arc isn't one of those biker delinquents," Ozpin said, not wishing to see one of his students play a criminal.

The youngsters in the back of the theater were all happy to see that Jaune had just arrived.

"Hey, it's Jaune," Ren pointed out.

"Hi, Jaune," Weiss greeted.

Saphron turned and gasped with joy at seeing her baby brother return. She quickly got up and hugged him. "Jaune! You're back! Did you find some work?"

Ruby frowned. "What does she by that?"

"Jaune got into a bit of trouble earlier. He had a summer job at Kellerman's but was fired for having a relationship with a guest," Gold-Sith explained.

"A relationship with who?" Pyrrha asked tentatively.

"Yeah. I got a new job in Vale. But we'll talk about that later," he brushed off. "Where's Pyrrha?"

Saprhon pointed to Pyrrha sitting at her table with her parents.

Jaune gazed ahead at the chorus singing on stage. He then glanced to the left, spotting Pyrrha sitting sadly in the corner. Pyrrha sat up as she spotted Jaune, smiling brightly.

"So, Ms. Nikos and Mr. Arc are acquainted here," Ozpin observed.

"Yes. Although, Ms. Nikos and her family are on vacation in Vale while Jaune and Saprhon are both residents. Jaune and Pyrrha both met and became dance partners at the resort's club," Gold-Sith provided.

Pyrrha perked up at that, elated. "Dance partners?"

"Yes. Saphron is the resort's dance instructor. Originally, Velvet was Jaune's partner, but thanks to Cardin, Pyrrha had to take her place. As for Saprhon, she tutored both of you. And many of your counterparts are members of the dancing club at the resort," Gold-Sith supplied more information. [3]

Jaune shrugged. "That makes sense. It was Saphron's idea to teach me to dance back home," he revealed.

Jaune marched up to the Nikos family table. "Nobody puts Pyrrha in the corner," he declared.

Jaune took Pyrrha by the hand. "Come on," he said as he led her towards the stage.

Pyrrha and Jaune blushed to see their counterparts' holding hands while everyone else smiled or cooed softly.

Peleus stood up to intercede, but Thetis stopped him.

Jaune and Pyrrha walked hand-in-hand up to the stage and ascended it, causing the chorus to awkwardly stop singing.

"Well, that was rude," Weiss scolded Jaune's counterpart.

Nora shrugged. "Meh. It was kind of boring anyway."

"Nora," Ren lightly scolded his partner.

"Sorry about the disruption, folks," Jaune apologized into a microphone. "But I always do the last dance of the season. This year somebody told me not to."

Peleus watched Jaune like a hawk while the teens in the back looked eager to see their friend perform with Pyrrha.

"Uh-oh…looks like Peleus is one of those overprotective dad types," Blake observed with a frown, reminded of her father acting the same way.

"I know how that feels," Yang mumbled.

"But that can't be the only reason, can it?" Sun wondered, scratching his chin.

"Well, it's a long story. To put it shortly, the Nikos' are a wealthy family in this universe while Jaune comes from more humble origins as a staff member of the hotel. Peleus doesn't approve of their relationship for several reasons, but classism is one of them," Gold-Sith said.

"That reminds me of father forbidding me from ever dating the 'little people'," Weiss grieved, using air-quotes on the last two words.

"So, I'm gonna do my kind of dancing' with a great partner," Jaune continued, glancing briefly at Pyrrha. "Who's not only a terrific dancer, but somebody who's taught me that there are people willing to stand up for other people no matter what it costs them. Somebody who's taught me about the kind of person I want to be…Miss Pyrrha Nikos."

Peleus angrily got up to confront Jaune, but Thetis pulled him back into his chair.

Saphron looked proud of her baby brother for refusing to give up and finally performing the dance she spent all summer teaching him and Pyrrha.

Pyrrha and Jaune both gasped sharply, blushing the same shade as Ruby's cloak as they realized they were a romantic couple in this universe. But then Pyrrha giggled with delight, wanting to see herself and Jaune dance again. Everyone else looked elated by the revelation.

"You guys are a couple here!" Nora beamed squealed with delight, bouncing excitedly in her seat.

"And it looks like you're going to dance again," Ren said, putting a shoulder on Nora's shoulder to calm her down.

Jaune and the chorus singers dispersed off the stage while Pyrrha stayed put. The stage lights dimmed.

Offstage, a staff member was changing records on the player while Jaune unzipped and removed his jacket. Then, he turned to lock eyes with Pyrrha, who waited for him to kickstart the performance.

From the record player, the song opened up with soft music and a deep resonant male voice singing.

Now I've had the time of my life

No, I never felt like this before

Jaune sauntered on stage and did a come-hither gesture to Pyrrha, eliciting excited whoops from the audience as a spotlight shined on the both of them as Pyrrha put her hands on Jaune's chest. Two pairs of Christmas lights also illuminated the stage.

Everyone felt enthralled by the music and deep yet silken voice of the male singer on the record. Even Weiss, a talented singer herself, was impressed by the man's singing.

Pyrrha herself felt her heart aflutter as her counterpart placed her hands on Jaune's chest, knowing the dance performance was going to be great.

Pyrrha let Jaune take her hands in his and lead her into a dip. Then he brought her back up smiling as she locked eyes with him. The audience gasped and 'oooo'd.

Yes I swear, it's the truth

And I owe it all to you

A woman on the record player sang the next set of lyrics as Pyrrha then turned around with her back toward Jaune. She lifted her left arm, letting it fall passionately against his neck.

'Cause I've had the time of my life

And I owe it all to you

Then, just as the tempo kicked in, Jaune spun Pyrrha out in a three-step turn, then pulled her back in, their hands clasped together as they performed their dance: a mixture of mambo and salsa. Their footwork deft and precise. They'd obviously been practicing for some time.

The music, a soft rock tune, continued, with the man and woman singing the lyrics individually or together as a duet.

The theater was filled with wide-eyes and slackened jaws at the immense talent of the two dancers onscreen. A few female audience members even swooned a bit at alternate Jaune's counterpart, dancing skills, which were even better than his real-life ones.

Pyrrha herself had to fan herself a bit as she felt her face heat up from watching the breathtaking dance scene. She could never have even dreamed it.

Jaune felt his face heat up as well while his face went red again. But, in the back of his mind, he was just as delighted to see himself and Pyrrha dancing again as she was.

"Yeah!" Nora cheered with her fists raised.

"Vomit Boy's really taking P-Money for a spin," Yang grinned cheekily.

"Damn it, Yang. Don't ruin it!" Blake chided her partner.

"Language, Ms. Belladonna," Glynda pushed her glasses up.

I've been waiting for so long

Now I've finally found someone to stand by me

We saw the writing on the wall

As we felt this magical fantasy

The duo continued their passionate and flawless dance, the song no doubt a testament for their relationship.

Now with passion in our eyes

There's no way we could disguise it secretly

So we take each other's hand

'Cause we seem to understand the urgency

"Wow. You two are amazing," Velvet praised the onscreen duo.

"So is this song," Coco remarked on the song. "Where does it come from?"

"I don't know, but I could listen to it over and over," Sun said as he tapped his foot to the beat.

At their table, Peleus was angry, but Thetis looked proud of her little girl's dancing skills.

"I think she gets this from me," Thetis claimed, earning a confused look from her husband.

"Hmmm? What does she mean by that?" Pyrrha questioned her mother's words.

"Neither of them had any idea that Pyrrha and Jaune were taking dance classes together throughout the summer," Gold-Sith explained.

Back on stage, Jaune and Pyrrha continued, their dancing intensifying as the song picked up.

Just remember

You're the one thing

I can't get enough of

So I'll tell you something

This could be love, because

The dancing duo performed a few more spins, then pulled in close, their faces only inches apart. The crowd cheered enthusiastically while the song reached its peak as the man and woman on the record sang together. In the back of the theater, Saphron was overjoyed to see her pupils pull off such an outstanding performance.

I've had the time of my life

No, I never felt this way before

Yes, I swear, it's the truth

And I owe it all to you

By now everyone was swaying and bobbing their heads to the beat with smiles on their faces. Even the stoic Ironwood and Winter were enjoying it as they tapped their feet lightly to the rhythm.

"Come on. Just kiss already," Nora said under her breath, noting how close Pyrrha and Jaune's faces were onscreen.

"I'm feeling a serious eargasm from this song right now," Blake said, her cat ears vibrating slightly. [4]

"Me too," Yang, Pyrrha, Coco, Sun, and Jaune all said together, before pausing and bursting out laughing at their jinx.

Glynda arched her brow. "Eargasm?" she questioned with a hint of disapproval.

Penny held up a finger. "I believe they're referring to the sense of pleasure or stimulation derived from listening to something, particularly music," she informed.

"Thank you, Penny," Winter said simply.

Peleus watched, still fuming while Thetis kept a cool head. In the back of the theater, the youngsters were cheering loudly for the onstage pair. Nora, in particular, let out a loud whoop.

'Cause I've had the time of my life

And I've searched though every open door

'Til I found the truth

And I owe it all to you

Hey, baby

"Please don't ruin this, dad…" Pyrrha pleaded her father's counterpart under her breath. "I really am having the time of my life."

Jaune stepped away from Pyrrha and leaped off the stage, landing between the two rows of seats to do a solo dance towards the opposite end of the room. The ecstatic crowd cheered and clapped in tune to the song's beat as it went on.

With my body and soul

I want you more than you'll ever know

So we'll just let it go

Don't be afraid to lose control, no

Yes, I know what's on your mind

When you say, "Stay with me tonight" (stay with me)

Jaune did a triple tour spin, then proceeded towards the other side of the theater. He shot a glance back at Pyrrha onstage, who smiled at her partner in encouragement. Jaune did a solo act on his knees involving spins, pelvic thrusts, and throwing his head around like a rock star.

Just remember

You're the one thing

I can't get enough of

So I'll tell you something

This could be love, because

"Whoo! Look at him go!" Ruby cheered, amazed by Jaune's dancing skills.

"Oh, yeah! Now this is happening!" Nora exuberantly rephrased her declaration at the Beacon dance.

"Wow, Jaune! Do you think you could teach me those moves?" Neptune asked excitedly.

"I would like to…if that was the real me," Jaune reminded awkwardly.

Neptune deflated. "Oh…right. That's your alternate self."

Jaune himself put a hand to his chin, wondering if Gold-Sith could give him a recording of this multiverse viewing so he can learn his counterpart's impressive dance moves.

Jaune then got back to his feet and started dancing back towards the stage, the crowd of dance club members behind him mimicking his moves.

On stage, Pyrrha smiled brightly as she swayed to the beat of the music. And she wasn't the only one. By now, everyone was clapping or at least bobbing their heads to the beat.

"Look at that. Everyone's getting into it," Ruby pointed at the screen with a smile.

"I don't blame them. This song is awesome!" Yang exclaimed, wishing there was space in the theater to get up and dance.

"He's got half the crowd dancing along with him," Winter commented, impressed by Jaune's charisma via dancing.

Jaune paused and nodded towards Pyrrha, who nodded back.

The crowd helped Pyrrha down from the stage so she could perform the trickiest part of the dance. She rushed over and jumped up at Jaune, who caught and hoisted her into the air while she spread her arms out as if she were flying.

I've had the time of my life

No, I never felt this way before

Yes, I swear, it's the truth

And I owe it all to you

Gasps of awe and cheers filled the theater. Pyrrha's hands went to her cheeks as her face lit up with glee.

More than a few female audience members wish they could be Pyrrha's counterpart. Even Weiss wouldn't have minded sharing a dance with Jaune's counterpart, though she'd never admit it.

Velvet felt a slight twinge of jealousy that Pyrrha's counterpart replaced hers as Jaune's dance partner. And more than a little anger towards Cardin for ruining it for her. Nevertheless, she was happy for the onscreen couple.

Meanwhile, half the audience had caught on to the lyrics and began to happily sing along.

Concerned for Pyrrha's safety, Peleus stood up to stop the performance.

"Sit down, Peleus," Thetis ordered her husband, the latter complying reluctantly.

"Peleus is right to be concerned. That's a risky dance move," Glynda defended Peleus' protectiveness.

"That's right. The man really needs to know what he's doing," Weiss said, speaking from experience. "If Pyrrha were to go too far over Jaune's head, then she'd fall forward, behind his back."

"No need to worry. Mr. Arc seems to know what he's doing here," Ozpin assured with a sip of his coffee.

Jaune set Pyrrha down, and the two embraced in a hug, prompting cheers and applause from the audience. Even Peleus couldn't hide a smile of happiness for his daughter as he watched.

Jaune and Pyrrha continued dancing together, as did their young friends. By now, the entire audience was completely engrossed and began to dance along, both young and older members. Even Peleus and Thetis couldn't help but give in to the temptation and got up to start dancing.

"Do you have sheet music on this stuff?" Kellerman asked Flynt.

Port chuckled. "He wants a copy of the lyrics for a future show."

"I can't blame him," Pyrrha smiled while shimmying her shoulders to the beat.

"It's so heartwarming and inspiring how music can unite people," Glynda commented, beginning to feel mushy inside.

"If only we had this song playing at the dance. It would have been even better," Weiss proclaimed.

Jaune and Pyrrha happily walked off hand in hand toward Saphron, who embraced the both of them in a hug.

"You two did great! I'm so proud of you guys!" she cried with joy.

"Thanks, sis," Jaune smiled.

Jaune smiled at the screen, feeling a desire to contact his family when he got the chance.

"She certainly taught them well," Ironwood said with a nod.

Next, Peleus approached them calmly. "I know you weren't the one who got Velvet in trouble."

Jaune nodded. "Yeah," he confirmed.

"When I'm wrong, I say I'm wrong," Peleus admitted, regretting how he pegged Jaune earlier as a troublemaker.

"He's won her father's approval," Ren said happily.

"But didn't Gold-Sith say that Pyrrha is only there on vacation?" Qrow reminded.

Several people shot Qrow leers for damaging the mood. He cleared his throat awkwardly and ordered a glass of water.

Peleus locked eyes with Pyrrha. "You looked wonderful out there," he said softly.

Pyrrha smiled brightly and hugged Peleus, finally reconciling with him after all that had happened.

"Awww," most of the audience cooed at the touching moment.

"If only I could reconcile with Raven like this…" Yang thought with her gaze cast downward.

Pyrrha smiled and tapped her chin. "That reminds me, I should call my parents and tell them how things are going."

Back on the dance floor, everyone was having a blast. The dance couples included Weiss and Neptune, Sun and Blake, and, finally, Ren and Nora.

All the aforementioned audience members blushed at their respective counterparts dancing together but couldn't hide sincerely touched smiles.

Jaune and Pyrrha themselves returned to the dance floor. Just then, the music simmered a bit, and the male singer on the record sang on.

Now I've had the time of my life

No, I never felt like this before

Yes I swear, it's the truth

And I owe it all to you

Jaune mouthed the lyrics to Pyrrha, the latter smiling at him as she wrapped her arms around his neck, their gazes locked together as they slow danced.

Finally, passion took the young couple in as their lips finally met in their first kiss.

The audience cooed, whistled, or cheered for the onscreen couple, while Jaune and Pyrrha blushed deeply again. Pyrrha herself couldn't take it anymore as her nose began to bleed.

Jaune snapped out of his funk and gasped softly at his partner's bleeding nose. "Pyrrha! Are you all right?" he asked.

"I-yes. I-I'm fine, Jaune," she assured as she wiped her nose with a napkin, her blush fading away. "Don't worry about me."

Yang giggled and opened her mouth to give a teasing remark to Pyrrha and Jaune, but Ruby took notice and jabbed her sister in the ribs. "Don't," she whispered harshly, while Yang pouted lightly.

Overjoyed, Jaune hoisted Pyrrha up high then set her back down as they continued to dance the night away with the others as the scene faded out.

The audience applauded and cheered loudly. Nora, Yang, and Sun even jumped up, whooping loudly.

"That was spectacular!" Weiss praised the viewing, grateful that Gold-Sith answered her request so satisfactorily.

"It was a very welcome change of pace from the dark grittiness of the first two viewings," Oobleck said.

"I've got to hear that song again!" Nora said eagerly.

Yang sat back down. "Me too. Can we re-watch past adaptations, Gold-Sith?"

"If you'd like. But, for now, let's continue," Gold-Sith replied.

"I'll definitely be watching that one again," Pyrrha thought to herself.

"So, what will we be watching next?" Ironwood asked.

"Something also involving music. But this viewing will be more of the comedy genre rather than romance," Gold-Sith said as the next viewing started.

Author's Note: I've been wanting to do this for a while. The idea first came to me when I did some research on "The Time of My Life", then watched the final legendary scene of "Dirty Dancing". Then, just like that, I started picturing Jaune and Pyrrha as Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey respectively and figured it would make a great one-shot adaptation for a musical.

But make no mistake. I'm NOT a fan of Jaune-centric or harem fics, so in spite of many female audience members being attracted to his counterpart here, they're not just going to start crushing and obsessing over him.

Finally, I've already came up with an idea for the fourth adaptation, but I'll be posting a voting poll for the fifth adaptation.

Author's Points

[1]- Unlike Jane Brucker's character, Lisa, Blake isn't related to Pyrrha in any way. And she isn't tone deaf either, lol.

[2]- Since Pyrrha is based off of Achilles, I figured it would be fitting for the formers parents to be named after the latter's.

[3]- I somewhat altered the story from the original source. According to the info I gathered, Patrick Swayze's character in the film was 25 while Jennifer Grey's was only 17. Even though the film took place in the sixties, and the age of consent in New York, where the film took place, is 17, I still found it creepy, so I changed it so Jaune and Pyrrha are the same age, and Saphron is their adult instructor.

[4]- I love that feeling so much. I can't remember the last time I experienced it though :(
