Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail re-told. It's time for the next chapter. As always, leave a like and comment so you can tell me your thoughts.

Last time on A Fairy Tail, re-told

Happy: We successfully stopped Deliroa, but the villagers haven't been cured yet; it looks like we will have to destroy the moon.

Natsu: aww, yeah, this is going to be awesome.

Gray: I can't believe they're going through with this

Lucy: Me either

"Hmm," Natsu said as he stroked his chin, looking at the sky.

"Please believe us," one of the villagers pleaded.

"yeah, we didn't tell you before 'cause we were afraid you wouldn't believe us."

"we've tried, but every villager gets sent back."

"I think I get it," Natsu agreed, getting confused looks from Gray and Lucy.

Zalty sat in a tree and laughed. "I should have guessed he would have figured it out." he let out another small chuckle as he watched the events.

"come on, Gray," Natsu said,

"wait, where are you going?" Gray asked

"doing what we were hired to do," Natsu said, smiling

"We're going to destroy the moon."

'There's no way this is going to work,' Lucy and Gray said in their heads.

"When I say go," Natsu explained d, "you pull outa spell that'll shoot me right to the moon." he explained, "Go all out of. You hit me with too little, and I won't be able to make the trip.

"I guess," Gray muttered. Are we really planning on doing this," Gray muttered.

"most certainly." Natsu smiled

"Looks like you've officially gone off the deep end," Lucy said.

Secrets of the Demon Island

"All right," Gray shouted as he took a stance. "{Ice make: Gungir}," he yelled as a large lance shot from the ground. Natsu burst free, shooting to the moon, much to the shock of Lucy and Happy.

"that's bad."

"What are they thinking."

{Fire dragons: brilliant flame}" Natsu shouted as the attack went high into the sky until it vanished. Everyone stopped and looked at Crakes beginning to appear on the moon, shocking Gray and Lucy.

"Looks like my hunch was right," Natsu said. "It wasn't the purple moon; it was just the moon drip that caused a side effect. The villagers soon began to glow, but their appearance didn't change.

"What," Lucy asked, confused. "What's going on? None of the villagers turned back."

"That's because this is their true form," Natsu said, approaching them.

"What?" Lucy shouted as she nearly fainted.

"Is that true?" Gray asked.

"I don't know; my memories kinda hazy," someone answered. "We all looked pretty human when you met us."

" true, but you guys can take on human forms," Natsu explained. "The memory loss probably explained why you thought your temporary forms were your real ones."

"But why weren't Lyon and his Lackeys affected," Lucy asked.

"That I don't know; maybe it was because it can only affect Demons," Natsu told her. "As for the temple, it's a sacred place. Maybe a being of darkness couldn't enter it."

"You're quite the detective," a voice called out. The group was shocked to see that Bob, the sailor that brought them here, was still alive.

"Bobo," Mako said through tears.

"I knew I could count on you," he said.

"but we thought," someone called out.

"it takes a lot more than a stab to the chest to kill a demon," Bobo said, laughing.

"but on the boat," Gray muttered, "you just disappeared."

In a flash, Bob was gone again. "I hope you kids can forgive me for not telling you the truth sooner," Bobo told them. "I was the only one here who didn't have any memories of Loss, so I had to leave," he said, laughing.

"Bobo," Moka was on the verge of tears as he soon sprouted his wings, flew to his son, and embraced him with an enormous hug.

"So glad you snapped out, pops," Bob said as he held his father close.

Soon, every other demon was flying towards him, joining the hug, happy to have their friend back.

"Yep, they are demons," Lucy said, smiling.

"I don't know," Natsu said, "looking from here at their faces." Nasu paused and smiled. "They look like angels to me."

The whole group smiled at this as the Demons played in the sky. "Let's have a party tonight; it's all out, demon party."

"I don't know if I'm rowdy enough to party with demons," Lucy muttered.

An entire feast was set up as everyone sat together and ate.

Natsu and Gray sat off to the side, talking as Natsu ate some fire.

A demon girl walked up to Gray. "Hey, how are you."

"um, have we met," Gray asked, confused.

"Oh, that's right," she said, "You probably don't recognize me. She soon reverted to her human form, which Gray immediately recognized. "Hey, you're that lady from before?

"Yeah," she said as she turned back.

Another Demon popped up next to Gray. "So that you know, every girl is crushing on you."

"Um, really," Gray asked.

"But you like us better in our human forms, don't you."

"No, you look fine, how you are," Gray said nervously.

"Oh, he's so cute," all the girls shouted in unison. "Let's take you to the dance floor and teach you the demon wiggle waggle."

"Looks like someone popular with the ladies," Lucy giggled.

"he'll find a way to scare them off.

"I was wrong about humans," Moka stated.

"huh," Lucy asked.

"You see, we were afraid that humans would judge us based on appearances," Moka stated. "That's why we came up with the curse."

"Well, it worked, Lucy told him. " No sailor wanted to come here."

"Yes, but now that I've met you, my opinions have changed," Moka stated. "Now we're ready to go out and befriend people from other lands."

"That's good," Natsu told them. "Friendship is a beautiful thing that transcends physical appearance," he smiled. "They are there to pick you up, help when you fall, and help you even when you want to be alone."

"I'm taking that as a compliment; thank you." Lucy smiled

"No one will ever believe you." Natsu laughed

"Aye"

Miles away, Yuka, Tobey, and Sherry all stood over the village with angry eyes. "You sure you want to do this."

"Yes," Sherry answered, "we have to avenge the cold Emperor for love."

"Just stay here," Tobey ordered. "We'll handle this."

Yuka and Sherry walked into the village, getting everyone's attention, and Natsu stood up from his end of the table. "may we help you," he asked.

"Yes," Yuka answered, "You beat the cold Emperor quite. He barely had the strength to get down here."

"So, we came ourselves," Sherry finished.

"I thought he explained what happened," Lucy shouted, "I thought we were cool."

"yes, but that doesn't matter to us," Yuka stated.

"We wanted to settle things personally."

"So, you jerks want a rematch," Natsu said as he stood beside Erza.

"That isn't necessary, Natsu," Bobo told him. "We can't keep relying on you guys; we must do this ourselves."

"that's nice," Natsi said, "but let me handle this one." he walked to the two and then walked towards the two, who only smirked.

"Well, the wizard who stopped Zalty," Sherry stated.

"you got lucky last time," Yuka said.

"Be careful around the creepy girl!" Lucy shouted, "She can control inanimate objects."

"and I shouldn't even think of using magic against old Mega brow," Natsu told her. "In that case, I'll do this the old-fashioned way!" he shouted before punching the two.

"wow," Yuka muttered.

"amazing, you are strong," Sherry said as she stood. "We don't stand a chance."

"Wait," Lucy muttered, "that's it."

"I wish it were always that easy," Natsu muttered.

"I doubt this will make up for all we did," Yuka told them, "but we wanted to apologize."

"oh," Happy called out, "that's what they meant by settling things."

"the cold Emperor told us everything," Sherry told them, "Thanks to all of you. We can finally release all the pain Deliroa caused us many years ago."

"wait," Gray said in shock, "your victims of Deliroa too."

"Yes," Yuka answered. "Deliroa destroyed our homes and killed our friends and families."

"So, when the cold Emperor told us he had a way to kill Deliroa forever," Sherry finished, " We followed; we were so filled with thoughts of vengeance that we failed to see we were harming other people."

She placed a hand on her heart as she smiled. "From now on, we will try to treat people with respect and Love."

"that seems pretty good to me," Natsu said, walking up to them" "what do you say you join us?" Natsu offered, which shocked the two.

"Wait, we were just your enemy a few seconds ago," they asked, shocked.

"Um, I'm not so sure. I'm trying to watch my figure now," Sherry responded.

"Oh, would two stop the excuses and Live a little," Natsu told them as he sat them down, and the party resumed.

In the distance, Zalty sat next to a floating Lacrima. "Did you see everything, sir?"

"Yes," a voice called through the lacrmia, which turned out to belong to Siegrain. "Why'd you restore the village."

"cause I'm just that nice," Zalty answered.

"Some might say too nice."

"those wizards, " Siegrain stated, "could be a problem if they get in the way of our plans."

Zalty took off his mask and transformed into Ultear, a member of the magic council. She smirked. "That's true," she stated."do you have a suggestion," she asked as she turned to the sphere.

"I'll wait till you return," Seigrain said

The next day, Natsu Gray and Lucy were sitting outside. "Um, I think there's a scar, Grey."

"It's all right," he told her, hurrying away.

"on your face," Lucy asked, confused.

"Yeah, 'cause I can see it," he told her. "It's the invisible scars you gotta worry about."

"not even those," Natsu told him. "I see those as the moment that you learn from," he said, "and you grow from them to become a better person."

"ya just had to sound cooler than I, didn't ya?" Grey retorted.

"Oh, come, man," Natsu said. "If I was doing anything, I added to the cool moment." he laughed. "and hey, thanks for, ya know, coming with me on this one." he smiled. "I wouldn't have been able to do this alone."

"I agree," Lucy smiled. "so what do you have to share?"

"what?" Natsu asked

"come on," Lucy said, "you know I'm writing a novel, and we learned a lot of information about Gray in the past few hours." She smiled. "Come on, share something with us."

I guess." Natsu turned away. "well, I can tell you my magic," he said

"your magic," Lucy asked

"yeah, it's a lost magic," he said. "I'm a"

"dragon slayer, I knew it," Lucy shouted

"wow, really," Gray asked

"yeah," Natsu smiled. "I was raised by a dragon, my father Igneel; I'm looking for him still. He disappeared seven years ago," he explained.

"I was right, a real live Dragon slayer," Lucy beamed as she looked at Natsu, the sorrowful look in his eye "Hye everything okay," she asked "

"yeah," Natsu smiled, "just some things I need to get used to sharing with others."

Later, the villagers try to reward the group for their pay, but Nat turns it down.

"Please, it's the least we can do," Moka told them, "for all the trouble."

"I know," Natsu said, "but your gratis ude and happiness were enough for me," Natsu said behind them, Lucy forcing a smile on her face. "but you guys were offering a gate key, right."

This caught Lucy's attention. "Yes."

"Well, at least let me give you a ride to Hargeon," Bobo told them.

"I mean, we could always swim," Natsu muttered,

"Absolutely not," Lucy shouted

The demons of the Island then said their goodbyes as the wizards left their Island, telling them to come back as soon as possible.

In this instance, Lyon and his followers watched the group sail off

"Lyon, are you okay," Sherry asked. "You never got to say goodbye to your friend and show him your love."

Lyon chuckled as he watched the ship sail away. "I'm all right," he told her. "We'll meet again someday, I know it."

Meanwhile, in the magic capital of the Era, Ultear arrived at Siegrain's office. "I'm sorry Deliroa didn't work out."

"It's unfortunate," Siegrain stated, "but we had no clue that it was dead," he said as he put a book away. "C'est le vie. I'll be more careful next time."

"I had no idea that Wenche's magic was so strong," Ul ear told him.

"You know you shouldn't speak of your mother like that," Siegrain told her, "don't cause Ur to shed another tear. She was a great wizard," Siegrain told her. "I bet if she were still alive, she'd be counted as the ten wizard saints."

"You give her too much credit," Ultear scoffed. "My mother loved her magic and nothing else; no wonder my father left her."

"they say the bigger the loss, the stronger someone must become to contain it," Siegrain said.

"I doubt my mother thought I was a great loss," Ultear said.

"You never know. Maybe she took on those students too." Siegrain was stopped when Ultear placed a finger on his lips.

"Let's change the subject, "Ultear whispered, "I think it's time to move to the next phase."

"Ultear, your face," Siegrain said, shocked as Ultear's face began glowing red.

"damn it" she screamed. "That idiot Natsu landed a hit on me," she shouted as Siegrain laughed.

"so how was he," Siegrain asked. "Was he as good as the rumors make him out to be?"

"I couldn't tell you," Ultear said. "All I can say is we're both holding back," she said, "him a lot more than me."

"what do you mean," Siegrain asked.

"Well, he was a little worn out after fighting, and his left arm was stiff," Ultear told him, "but even though I could feel a massive surge of power resting in him, almost as much as that Gajeel fellow."

"So, you think thereof the same breed," Siegrain asked. "You seem to know the magic they're using, so why not tell me."

Ultear laughed. "Bec use it would be rude," she answered, " his kind prefer to keep their magic hidden," Ultear told him. "All I can safely tell you is that with each passing day, he will get stronger."

"Good," Siegrain said. "For my dreams to be realized, I'll need to get them out of the way," he said, looking away. "Have you contacted the heartfilia Konzern?" he asked.

"my message has been delivered," Ultear said, "and Phantom has noticed a lack of jobs as well."

"Good," Seigran smiled. "If we're lucky, we'll take out two birds with one stone," he laughed. "The strongest guild on the continent and, of course, the salamander and the scarlet knight."

Natsu and Co. safely made it back to the mainland. "Man finally" he groaned

"hey guys," Gray smiled. "I think we're near one of the Heartfilia rails ways." Gray smiled as he showed them a map. Lucy went stiff as Gray smiled, "You think we can get enough to get a ride."

"a vehicle, man," Natsu groaned.

"That's one of the best train systems in Fiore," Gray said.

"how about we walk," Lucy said suddenly, not looking back.

"huh, why," Gray asked.

"I mean, we were on that boat, and Natsu got bad motion sickness," Lucy said, not looking at Gray. "A great idea, right right," she said, not giving Gray time to answer. "Come on, let's go," she said, grabbing Natsu's hand as she led him away.

"hey Lucy, slow down," Natsu shouted.

"what was that about," Gray asked.

"I don't know," Happy said. "hey guys, wait for me," Happy shouted as he flew after the pair.

Hey Guys, and that's a wrap on these chapters. I know this arc rewrite had a strong lack of Erza don;t worry she'll be back soon but right now I have to focus on the other characters in any case next chapter like before we have to filler chapters coming up to better set the scene of Natsu's story and of course build up to the Phantom lord arc anyway, see you later.
