VR4

Eating dinner the next night had never been so uncomfortable for Izuku; his parents and sister had been anxiously looking at and hounding him with questions as to how his date with Setsuna had been.

"So, how did it go?" Izumi had started, beaming giddly.

"What did you do? Where'd you go?" Inko followed, a hopeful smile on her face.

"Did you kiss?" his father impishly grinned

"HISASHI!" Inko snapped, slapping her husband.

"What, it's a legit question!" Hisashi moaned as the doorbell rang.

"Oh look! Literally anything else!" Izuku hurriedly said as he zoomed to the door.

"No other Quirks in the house!" Inko hollered in spite of herself then picked at her food.

"Baby?" Hisashi asked his wife.

"I think we overdid it. Izuku is a private boy and we were hounding him…but at the same time? I want grandbabies and this girl seems like such a sweetheart…"

"With sass!" Izumi added with a beam, just as the door slammed and Izuku raced to his room before throwing an envelope to the dinner table:

It was from UA.

"HOLY COW, ALREADY?!"

AFO

Alone in his room, Izuku sweated and gulped as he fiddled with the envelope.

There was no way this was happening. Even with All Might in his corner, the fact this came so quickly could only mean bad news, right?

But what if?

What if for once, the universe was being kind to him? Oh well, he was here, dinner was getting cold, and better to rip the bandage off.

And with a single tear, a light came from the envelope and displayed…A mouse? A bear? A dog?

"Greetings, Izuku Midoriya." The scarred suit-wearing creature beamed. "You no doubt know who I am, so I'll skip the niceties and get to the point. You would make a grand hero…."

Izuku sighed.

Rejection.

As he thought.

"And in fact, you already have proven you can be!" Nezu beamed. "I am very well aware of your actions against criminals in your area and while normally, vigilantism would have you shipped off to Tartarus? You and your friends all passed their special test and will be put in a special class that will help support you."

"Special test?"

"Yes, Special test." Nezu said as if he were reading Izuku's mind. "The simple test of whether or not the loyalty you and your friends had for each other was true or superficial. Many apply to hero schools, but only 10% are true hero material. If given the choice, many toss their friends under….Luckily, neither you or your friends were willing to do so."

Nezu smiled warmly as he sipped some tea.

"I just needed to see for myself and I am pleased to announce you did exactly as I hope. A good thing too, all of this has already been planned in advance. Congratulations, Midoriya! This is your Hero Academia!"

The light ended and beaming and crying Izuku stepped into the kitchen, where his parents and Izumi were in similar states.

"MY BABY!" Inko sobbed happily as Hisashi hugged his children.

"I'm gonna try extra hard at the Entrance Exam!" Izumi said. "I'm gonna make you proud, Izuku! We're gonna be Heroes together!"

With Katsuki, Himeri, and Okabe, they were also prepared to do their best at the Entrance Exam after getting the good news from their friends. No way where they gonna fall behind.

"Well, Toshi, are you feeling comfortable teaching this class?" Nedzu asked as Toshinori looked over the list of students for the special private class he'd be teaching.

"They all deserve the chance to become Heroes, Nedzu. I just hope I can be a capable teacher."

"Well, in any case, I have something that might help you." Nedzu smiled before slapping down a large textbook that read'How To Become The Best Teacher You Can Be!'. "The school year isn't for another 10 months. I highly recommend that you study up if you want to be a proper teacher for your students."

Toshinori gulped. This was going to be a long 10 months...

Izuku and his friends were at Dagobah Municipal Beach, all of them working on cleaning up the large amounts of trash that had piled up over the years.

"Okabe, can't you just eat all this and digest it?" Chi groaned as he heaved up a large trash bag full of junk.

"Ewwww! No way! I may be able to digest anything but I have limits, okay?!" The big plump girl gagged.

OKABE YOSHIKO

QUIRK: OMNI-CONSUMPTION! SHE CAN SWALLOW ANYTHING AND STORE IT INSIDE HER TO SPIT BACK OUT LATER! SHE CAN ALSO DIGEST ANYTHING AT WILL! TALK ABOUT GETTING YOUR MONEY'S WORTH AT AN ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT BUFFET!

"This is plenty of stuff to practice on the 'Hell Forge' part of my Quirk." Gani grinned as he surrounded a broken-down bicycle with the same blue flames that coated his bony body. With concentration and precise hand movements, he began crafting the bike into a 'Hell Bike', which he gave a skull aesthetic just because.

"Man, you're so lucky you're a fusion of Sans from Undertale and Ghost Rider from Marvel!" Yumi whined as she was carrying a literal mountain of trash with her back stretched out and morphed into a large net to carry it.

"Hey guys, think I can recycle this with my Quirk?" Nanako asked as she gestured to a fridge. "I mean, look at this fridge! Somebody threw out a whole goddamn fridge and it still looks to be in great shape!"

"Knock yourself out, girlfriend!" Izumi said as she and Inasa worked together, manipulating the air to float several piles of trash effortlessly through the air.

"A shame Kaachan couldn't come. Then again, him and his pride..." Izuku said since Katsuki had gone off to do his training.

"Eh, to each their own." Hitoshi shrugged, bending a pipe into itself to make it easier to put away.

"You kids have been putting in some good work."

The gang turned to see a familiar blonde man smirking as he walked down to the beach.

"All-Might!" Quasi smiled. "Fancy meeting you here. Any news?"

"Well, as you probably know, Izuku got in….as did all of you."

The others stopped.

"…No shit?" Quasi asked

"No shit." All Might beamed."Nedzu saw your potential during the Recommendation Exam and that he had already planned on setting me up as a teacher at UA….with his own personal class!"

He then turned his attention to Izuku.

"And Izuku my boy? You and your friends are the lucky students."

Cheers then filled the beach as the kids began to cheer, jeer, dance, and hug and kiss…

Well, Hitoshi and Himiko kissed…

"YAHOOO!"

"SHIP IS SAILING!"

"VLAD IS GOING TO KEEL YOU, TOSHI!"

Hitoshi knew he should probably be scared…but with Himiko smiling at him and nestling into his arms? He didn't care.

All Might smiled, happy for the kids.

10 Months passed surprisingly quickly and Izuku and his friends would be going to UA a day earlier than the rest of the student body in order to get acquainted with the school. Since some of Izuku's friends were technically homeless, Nedzu had managed to set up a dorm room for them to reside in.

Katsuki, Izumi, Okabe, and Himeri had managed to ace the Entrance Exam, all of them getting in the Top 10 ranking. Katsuki muttered about having to run around saving a bunch of 'dumbass extras' but that ended up granting him Rescue Points, which were a hidden factor in the exam. Izumi also happily talked about how she made a new friend with this nice girl named Ochako Uraraka.

Inasa would be in Class 1-B as a Recommended Student along with Setsuna. While the Aeromancer was bummed he couldn't be in the same class as Izuku, he was at least glad he wasn't stuck with Shoto, who was placed in Class 1-A.

"Have a good day at school, Zuku!" Izumi said, hugging her twin brother as he hugged her back.

"Lucky ass nerd, getting to go to UA a day earlier..." Katsuki grumbled but he had a smile on his face.

"Thanks, guys. I'll see you soon!" Izuku said, bidding his family goodbye as he took the bus shuttle to the grounds of UA, where he made his way to the dorm room that had been dubbed Might Junior Tower.

Officially the building was called that because Might Tower Hero Agency had paid for it, mostly.

And so, after unpacking, Izuku met up with his friends, who all got settled into their dorm rooms.

"Hey um, guys and gals?" Yoshimitsu asked. "There's one dorm room unattended…and last counted we were short a student or two…"

"Huh, I wonder who we could be missing..." Yumi wondered.

Suddenly, the door opened and a tall, lean young man with slicked black hair strutted him, twirling a playing card between his fingers. When he noticed everyone, he smiled brightly.

"Hey! So psyched to meet my classmates!" He said, an earnest grin on his face. "The name's Tokuma Kardo! A pleasure to meet all of you!"

"You too!" Izuku smiled.

"Huh, didn't see you at the Recommendation Exam." Himiko noted. "How did you get here?"

"Wait, I think I recognize him!" Miyu perked up. "He was riding on that giant playing card like a surfboard!"

Tokuma chuckled. "Right on the money! My Quirk is [Wild Card], I've got my Ace in the hole and plenty of cards in my deck!"

"Well, you certainly must have impressed All-Might to get in with the rest of us," Sato said.

Speaking of All-Might...

"I AM HERE!" A hatch suddenly opened in the ceiling as the Symbol of Peace himself crashed down, making sure not to cause too much of an impact. "LANDING IN LIKE A HERO!"

"HOLY CRAP! HE REALLY IS A TEACHER HERE!" Tokuma gawked.

"THAT'S RIGHT, YOUNG KARDO! I AM THE LUCKY PRO WHO GETS TO TEACH NOT ONLY ALL OF YOU BUT ALSO THE HERO STUDIES CLASS! I HOPE YOU LEARN SOMETHING FROM ME! BUT ENOUGH OF THAT FOR NOW, LET'S GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER, SHALL WE?"

Suffice it to say, Izuku and his friends were excited for what was to come.
