Chapter7: Zero to Infinity Pt2
"X-rated hero"
"Midnight"
"Oh my '' the voice of the bondage gear wearing hero is sultry, "are you two fans? My admirers shouldn't be doing things like this". She cracks the whip, causing both cyborgs' spines to stiffen. "I think you both need discipline".
"Midoriya" Mineta gets up, shaking off his drowsiness "We need to run". The young imp makes the gumblar pack pull out a needle already filled with the adrenaline like substance, and jams it right into Midoriya's chest.
Almost immediately, the white haired cyborg is awake, moving his hand to the back of his neck and removing his second restriction.
He picks up Mineta, but not before running to a fridge in the break room they were in and throwing it at midnight. The pro hero moved before he even wound up the throw however, stepping to the side and cracking her whip, causing it to wrap around Midoriya's neck.
Midoriya instantly raises his hand to the whip and flexes his fingers, thinking to himself "2 restrictions removed means I'm at 50% , so a flick of my fingers should be…"
The young cyborg curls his middle finger, and flicks the straining whip. The loud POP his fingers make cause Mineta to wake up a bit, and make midnight flinch.
The pro hero feels the tug of her whip vanish, and looks down to see her ultra Strong whip snapped in two.
Midoriya runs off in a full sprint, not entirely sure where he's going.
As she watches the cyborg run off, Midnight puts her hand to her ear, and speaks through the coms, "operation is a go, and we might have a complication."

With Logan
"Let's end this quick" Logan thinks to himself as the pro hero 'gang orca' swings at him.
The halo around the room disappears, and Logan creates another one around the hero.
"Zero thought"
The moment those words are uttered, gang orca stops in his tracks. Eyes dead and drool leaving his mouth.
"You'll be fine in a few minutes" Logan explains while grabbing the flash drive and leaving the room.
He takes about two steps before a bullet fires from his left, almost grazing his nose, he looks to the left, but no was firing at him specifically.
No it was a stray from the chaos that was ensuing, heros were here, a lot from the look of it. It looks like the boys are in the middle of a giant sting operation, "just my luck" Logan's sighs.
"Zeroboros!"
Logan hears the voice of Midoriya, and sees him running down the hall, in his arms is an almost recovered Mineta, who speaks up in the boy's arms.
"You can put me down, I think the effects wore off"
Midoriya gently puts the imp down and takes a moment to absorb what's happening around him. Heroes, some he recognized, others he didn't.
Among those he recognized in the chaos were gun head, snipe, and wash.
He didn't have time to geek out however, as a man is thrown in there direction, Logan and Midoriya are able to duck down, Mineta not needing to, due to his short height.
The man crashes into the wall, and the one who threw him was none other than gun head, who looks at the three masked individuals and talks through his coms.
"Midnight, I think I found who you were talking about, and there's one more."
"Well shit… alright kids, you wanted to know about my quirk?" Logan asks while gun head charges at them.
Both Mineta and Midoriya nod their heads, the latter more frantically than the former. Logan cracks his neck, placing a hand on each of the boys shoulders making a halo surround the auditorium.
"Zero people will be aware of our existence"
Mineta and Midoriya notice it immediately, the pro hero stops in his tracks. "What the- midnight can you hear me? They just disappeared!" Gun head yells into the coms.
"Walk slowly, and don't let my hand leave your shoulders" Logan instructs, the three walk off, making sure not to bump into anyone as they exit.
" My quirks called Zero to Infinity. On paper it's simple, a conjur a halo around an area, and anything within that area has to follow rules I set in place. So long as I begin that rule with the word "zero"".
As they leave the auditorium, the halo moves with them, making sure they're right in the center.
"Now there are limits. For whatever reason, I and anyone I touch are immune to psychological rules I put in place like this one, but not the physical rules. Like if I were to say, zero movement, while I was in the halo, I also wouldn't be able to move."
Midoriya and Mineta both look around with worry and awe, taking in the insane implications of Logan's quirk.
"Also, in accordance with what I said before, my quirk only affects the physical or mental state of those within it. So I can't just say 'zero people will defeat me,' I've tried that, but it didn't work".
When they finally leave the hotel and reach an ally across the street, Logan deactivates all halos he activated prior. Letting out a strained sigh.
"Honestly, my quirk was just called "zero" a year ago. I added the infinity after-" he can't finish his explanation, as a leg comes crashing down at him.
He is able to dodge, and turns to see a woman with tan skin and rabbit-like features.
Both Mineta and Midoriya freeze at the sight, as they both know who's standing in front of them.
"Holy legs that's-" Mineta starts
"Miruko!" Midoriya finishes
The two younger boys are filled with fear, and even Logan is a bit worried.
He creates a halo around the woman and tries to set a rule, but she jumps out of it before he can make it. A heavy ax kick is delivered to Logan, who manages to block with his metal arms. His feet sink into the ground as the weight of the attack, and Logan quickly grabs the woman's leg and throws her away.
Before she can even get up, Logan creates a halo surrounding everyone in the ally, saying "no friction"
The bunny woman, not hearing his command, tries to jump in his direction, but slips and crashes into the floor.
Logan slides over to the two boys and grabs the both, dispelling the halo and creating another one, only around miruko, and with different rule, "zero thought"
Midoriya and Mineta barely registered what Logan just did before he grabs the two and jumps in the air, as he does this, a halo appears on his chest. It twists, like someone grabbed both ends and turned them in opposite directions.
"I can find leverage on air" he says, and low and behold, he begins to run on air. His cybernetic enhancements allow him to quickly get away from the hotel.
When Logan reaches 5miles, he finally stops, reaching the roof of a nearby building and dropping the boys.
He quickly deactivates his quirk and places all his restrictions back in, the other two doing the same. He Keels over and takes heavy breaths, "ok, that didn't go as planned." He groans.
"Why didn't you just say 'zero quirks' ?" Mineta asks
"Good question, one, that counts as a physical rule, and if I said that while it surrounded all of us, my quirk would be deactivated too." Logan takes off his helmet, and both boys gasp in shock as Logan is bleeding from every hole on his head.
"Two, she was too fast to put a small halo around, had to trip her up first. And most importantly, the 'zero quirks' rule won't affect mutation type quirks"
"Are you ok!?" Midoriya shouts, full of concern.
Logan pauses, abit confused as to what the boy was talking about, but then it hits him. "Right, the blood, don't worry, this is normal. You should have seen me before I got the zeroboros system. Had strokes after using my quirk once."
Mineta, taking the man's word that he's fine at face value, asks what he thinks is more important.
"So why'd you add the infinity?"
Logan wips the blood off with his jacket, and waves the boys off. "Story for another day, let's head home, I need water and to have a talk with the doc.

3hours later in the garage
"So how'd they do?" the hunchback doctor asks, while looking over the files Logan stole.
Mineta and Midoriya had long since gone to bed, it was almost immediate how the fatigue hit them.
"They did great doc, solid A" Logan responds with a worried look, "so it's not here?"
The doctor sighs, "no, no trace of the Ignister system"
"You think it's time to give up? It might of really been destroyed" Logan suggests, but the hunchback shakes his head.
"Not possible, the Cyberse metal your systems are made from are indestructible. It's out there, some where" the doc explains while turning from the computer.
"And how bad would it be if someone compatible linked with it?" Logan asks. The doctor stays quiet for a bit, pondering the threat of his missing system.
"It would depend on the wielder" he starts to explain, pointing to another box holding a system in it. "The Ignister system, and its prototype, the code talker system, are both meant for leaders. In order to use it to its full potential, the user would need steady resolve, and six companions they'd trust with their lives".

In an undisclosed location.
A man in an black suit, covered in needles connected to iv bags sits in a dark room. the only light in the room is from the monitor he's looking at.
"Looking" would be an inaccurate term, since the man has no eyes. In fact, the entire top half of his face looked like it was seared off. And bottom is completely covered by a strange black mask.
On the monitor is a group of very nervous scientists, some sweating bullets, completely terrified of what they have to tell him.
"All for one… we can't recreate the system" the head scientist says, his hands on his desk as he bows his head. "Over the past 3 years, we've had to invent new equipment to figure out what some of the parts of the Ignister system does. And that doesn't even cover the Cyberse metal."
A.F.O scratches his neck, a sigh leaving his mouth, almost like he was expecting this. "Is there any chance to get more of the metal, or recreate a similar metal?"
"Not that we know of, the metal is a complete anomaly, it came from a comet. It's not magnetic, not conductive, it takes surface level sun heat to melt, and the most perplexing thing, it ignores the effects of some quirks."
A.F.O puts his hand on his head, "I know all that, Dr shield. I'm asking you what would happen if we used earth's metals to make a similar system?"
The doctor places a hand over his mouth, contemplating for about 30 seconds. "We could, but the strain would be too much for any material on earth, whoever uses it would break down after a few uses".
"Break down…hmm" A.F.O let's a smile creep behind his mask."Dr.shield, give all research on the systems to my team In America, I want you to put all your efforts in that..pet project you're working on."
The doctor's face goes white, and he chokes on his own spit.
"I know more than you think, a prototype leaked to Mustafu a few days ago, and I find what you're working on quite interesting"
Before the doctor can respond, A.F.O disconnects the call. "Oh well, I'll put all my cards in tomura then." He says while pressing a button, making the screen In front of him show a live feed of a small room.
In that room is a young man, roughly 20 years old, playing a video game. His hair is messy and a dull blue, and connected to him is the Ignister system.
Four dark black and blue arms connected to his back, folded inwards, so that the hands were gripping onto their shoulders. His eyes are just like Midoriya's, only a darker blue. His arms and legs are normal, completely untouched by the system, but something was odd.
Behind him were six smaller boxes, each one a different color. Almost resembling the box that held Midoriya's firewall system.
The young man feels a vibration in his pocket, and pulls out his phone to see a call from A.F.O. picking it up the man asks
"Yes, teacher?".
