It was a beautiful day on the planet earth, the sky was blue, the grass was as green as ever, and everything was peaceful. But little did the z fighters know their peace was going to be disturbed once again.
A now eight year old gohan and four year old goten were outside training with their father, son goku. Watching from the sidelines were chichi, raditz, launch, and kuroda.
The brothers blitzed towards goku and began attacking him from both sides, goku dodged and blocked most of their attacks. Gohan and Goten shouted as they kept throwing out blows, "you're getting careless" Goku said as he grabbed Goten by the leg and Gohan by the arm. He then spun around and threw the both of them in different directions causing both of them to hit a tree
"Ow I thought we had him that time" goten whined, "it's alright goten we'll get him this time" gohan said as he was preparing to charge at goku again, "no that's enough training for today we need to hurry up and get to kame house" chichi said.
"Aw come on chichi one more time" goku then clapped his hands together in desperation "please", "you've said that five times goku this the last time, now let's go!" Chichi shouted, "you should listen to your wife kakarot. You know how she is when she is angry" Raditz advised.
"We can train when we come back kakarot, now come on everyone is probably waiting for us" Kuroda said, goku let out a sigh "fine let's go boys" They then took off and headed toward kame house.
In space
Two pods flew through space and finally saw their destination. Vocado opened his eyes and saw that they were approaching towards earth, 'so this is earth huh? I wonder how many people Kakarot has killed'.
Vocado pressed the side of his scouter and began speaking, "Tunnip wake up, we're about to land!", "I'm awake dumbass! No need to yell" tunnip shouted back as they were approaching the planet earth.
At kame house
Trunks and mitsu were outside playing with turtle while the others were inside making small talk, "you guys really trained those kids well, there at the level y'all were at three years ago" roshi said, "yeah they learned pretty fast and they were able to keep up with goten" yamcha said as he looked at his kids through the window.
"Guess that's a sign that even earthlings can match up or even pass the level of a saiyan" Tien commented, 'does that mean I can surpass raditz'. "I'm surprised that you guys can keep up with Kuroda, Raditz and Goku," Bulma said, "speaking of Kuroda hey krillin when are you going to ask her out? " yamcha asked.
Krillin's face turned red, "i-i plan to do it soon okay give me a break" krillin stuttered, the others looked at him as if they had heard this excuse before. "No offense krillin but you've been saying that for eight years now" chiaotzu pointed out flatly, "I know but this time I'm serious" krillin replied. That's when Kuroda and the others landed outside, "hey guys we're here!" Kuroda exclaimed.
Goten and Gohan immediately ran towards Trunks and Mitsu. "Hey trunks, hey mitsu" gohan greeted, "hey gohan, hey goten" mitsu greeted back, when she said goten's name she said it in a flirtatious way insinuating that she was happy to see him, "hey mitsu" goten said back, trunks rolled his eyes at his sister's attempt to flirt.
"Hey guys it took you long enough" Bulma huffed, "we would've been here earlier but someone wanted to keep training when I told him to stop" chichi then shot a glance toward goku, "hehe sorry" goku chuckled nervously.
Raditz and Tien stared each other down, "you still think you can beat me?" Raditz asked, "you still think I can't?" Tien shot back. Launch got between them, "boys let's be nice now, we're here to have fun not to fight so let's have fun okay?" She said trying to break the rivals up, "hm whatever, I need a hetap" raditz then walked off.
"Hey Kuroda," Krillin mumbled, "Hey Krillin, your hair looks nice today, did you do something to it?" Kuroda asked, krillin blushed a little "I just trimmed it a little bit that's all, thanks for noticing" he said nervously.
They both started watching the kids play around carelessly, "you ever thought about having kids krillin?" Kuroda asked, "um yeah sometimes...have you?" Krillin replied, "yeah all the time, Kakarot is lucky. I wish I had a family like his" Kuroda said softly.
Krillin looked back at yamcha. Yamcha gestured towards Kuroda trying to encourage Krillin to ask her on a date. Krillin took a deep breath in and out, "kuroda would you like to hangout sometimes? Like just me and you?" He winced as he asked, fearing what her answer would be.
"Sure, krillin that sounds great" Kuroda bubbled, krillin began to relax his muscles "wait really?" He questioned in disbelief, "yeah I would love to hang out with you" kuroda said,"great, so it's a date" Krillin said standing proudly.
"Woah he actually did it" chiaotzu said, "yep, I taught him everything he knows" yamcha said proudly, he then received a smack in the head from bulma "you didn't teach him shit!" She shouted.
In a place away from the z fighters, a farmer was tending to his crops until he saw two unidentified flying objects crash down into his field. "What the hell!" The farmer shouted, he quickly ran inside his house, grabbed his shotgun and began approaching the mysterious object
The man looked inside the huge crater that the pods landed in, the pods opened up and out came tunnip and vocado. They both looked around, confused why the planet was still thriving with life, "kakarot couldn't even do his job, what a weakling" tunnip scoffed, "come on let's go find him" vocado said as they took off to the sky leaving the farmer trembling in fear.
Vocado's scouter started beeping, "hm there's a pretty high power level nearby but there are multiple high power levels further away" he informed, "we should split up, it's nothing we can't handle by ourselves" tunnip said, they both nodded and split off in different directions.
Piccolo was peaceful meditating in the wastelands until he felt two huge power levels, his eyes shot open 'what is that power? It's not kuroda or raditz but it feels familiar. Whatever it is, one is coming for me'. Piccolo hid behind a rock and lowered his power level 'maybe if I hide my power level he won't find me'.
Tunnip was in the area he stopped as the power level he was following suddenly disappeared, "what the hell just happened? Where did they go?" Tunnip scanned the area but saw no power levels nearby. Tunnip pressed the side of his scouter to communicate with vocado, "vocado I think your scouter is busted there's no power level over here".
"These things are old, just form back on me then" vocado said, "right" tunnip took his leave and headed back towards vocado. Piccolo let out a sigh of relief, "they must be headed back towards kuroda, i don't even think they can handle someone of that power…" for the first time piccolo actually worried about the z fighters he didn't know why but he did.
Back at kame house the z fighters felt the same thing, "you guys feel that right?" Krillin asked in disbelief, "yeah I think we all feel it krillin" yamcha said. This power was familiar to goku, kuroda, and raditz, this was the power of a saiyan.
"No, no, why are they here? I thought we were free, how did they find us? I don't want to go back!" Kuroda started hyperventilating in fear. "Kuroda, who are you talking about?" Chichi asked, "the saiyans," raditz answered, "launch, bulma, roshi take the kids inside now!" He shouted.
"Wait dad we can help, we're strong just like you guys" trunks said, "this isn't something you guys can handle trunks, we're not even sure if we can handle it" tien said, "we've been training for this right? So let us help dad" Gohan insisted, "look we don't have time to talk about it so just get in the-" Kuroda froze as she saw her former squad mates standing on the roof of Kame house.
"Would you look at this tunnip the siblings are back together" vocado said as they jumped off the roof and landed in front of the z fighters, "tunnip, vocado, why are you here?" Raditz asked, "Well first we were here to pick up kakarot, but now that all three of you are here we can bring all of you back," Tunnip explained.
"You're not taking my dad anywhere!" Gohan shouted, vocado saw the tail that gohan and goten had and it piqued his interest, "kakarot you've made offspring with a human, they can also be useful to vegeta" he said.
Tunnip started scanning the z fighters power levels, 'these guys have decent power levels. The kids range between 1,480 to 2,285, the earthlings range between 2,920 to 3,705, and the saiyans range from 3,955 to 4,445. They must have trained hard but they are no match for us'
"Look I know you guys are not the reasoning type, but it's obvious they don't want to come with you so how about you so why don't you guys just go back into space" krillin said.
"Hm, maybe you're right," Tunnip said, krillin's eyes widened in disbelief "really?", "no" tunnip lifted his hand and shot a beam right through krillin's chest, completely shocking the others. "Krillin!" Kuroda and Goku shouted as they ran to him, "krillin…" Kuroda cried as he held her hand.
"I...guess...we have to reschedule that...date huh?" krillin chuckled and then coughed up some blood, "I don't know if we're ever going to see each other again so I'm going to tell you this now. Kuroda...I… I love you, every since i met you I've loved you… I never knew when to tell you...but now seems like a good time...don't lose guys please…" krillin slowly closed his eyes as his life came to an end.
"Krillin, wake up! Krillin!" Goku shouted, "you bastard I'll kill you!" Goku charged at tunnip and punched him in the face, tunnip staggered back and chuckled "my turn" he then retaliated with an elbow to goku's gut knocking the breath out of his lungs and causing him to fall to the ground gasping for air.
"Dad!" Gohan and Goten shouted, they ran to goku but were stopped by tunnip who picked them up by their tails, "leave my nephews alone!" Raditz charged at tunnip but was interrupted by vocado who backhanded raditz sending him flying into kame house.
The others wanted to help but their strongest fighters were down; they knew they would barely stand a chance, "if you won't come with us we'll just take these two hybrids, as replacements" Tunnip said as he and Vocado took off.
"Gohan! Goten!" The twins shouted as they watched their friends be taken away. Chichi ran to goku and helped him up "goku are you okay?" She was worried, Goku didn't say a word, he just clenched his fist in anger.
Launch went over to help raditz up, "honey are you okay?" She asked, "no I'm not okay. I just watched my friend die, and my nephews got kidnapped and I couldn't do anything about it! I'm still weak" he mumbled. Kuroda was speechless, she couldn't speak, she couldn't move, she couldn't cry, all she could do was sit there and think about krillin's words.
"Get a hold of yourselves!" The z fighters turned around and saw piccolo, "your friend dies and your kids get taken away and all you do is sit there and cry? Is that what krillin would have wanted or would he want you to fight", the z fighters realized that piccolo was right they did need to fight for the kids and for krillin.
Kuroda stood up and took off heading towards the saiyans, the others then followed her, "wait dad can we come? We want to help save gohan and goten" Mitsu asked, "I'm sorry kids but this is too dangerous for you, just stay here with your mother for me, okay?" Mitsu and Trunks reluctantly shook their heads and watched their father take off.
The z fighters quickly made their way across the lands trying to gain up on the saiyans, "hey piccolo don't think I haven't noticed" kuroda said, confusing the namekian, "noticed what?", "your change in attitude. You usually would never come help us unless Kami told you too, but it's obvious that you're helping us because you want to" Kuroda explained.
"Whatever, the only thing you should be worried about is how we are going to save the little brats" piccolo said trying to change the conversation, "if you keep calling my son's brats your gonna catch a foot to the face" chichi threatened, which piccolo didn't take lightly.
"Guys this isn't the time to argue, we need to come up with a plan to beat these guys" yamcha said, "okay, so what's the plan then?" Chiaotzu asked. "Um we should…" Yamcha paused for a moment thinking of a way to beat the saiyans, but then he thought of something that he considered genius.
"Has anyone got any new techniques?" yamcha asked, the group was silent for a bit until piccolo spoke up, "I've been working on a technique called special beam cannon. It may be strong enough to work against them, I can only do it twice before I run out of energy".
Raditz looked at Yamcha with a cocked eyebrow "I'm curious Yamcha what's your plan?" He asked, "we already know that a saiyans tail is it's weak spot, so if we grab their tails and hold them in place long enough piccolo can hit them with his special beam cannon and boom we win".
"That's actually a pretty good plan coming from someone like you" piccolo insulted, "um thank you I think" yamcha said very confused at piccolo's insult. "You guys understand if this plan fails we're most likely going to die right?" Tien asked, "yeah but what other shot do we have?" Kuroda said In desperation.
"We need to get the kids back and avenge krillin" Goku fumed, he was angry at the fact that he couldn't protect his best friend or his kids, he was utterly disappointed with himself.
Tunnip and vocado landed with Gohan and Goten in hand, "Mommy! Daddy!" Goten cried out in fear he would never see his parents again, "ugh shut up already you brat!" Vocado shouted as he threw Goten inside his pod and shut the door leaving the crying toddler in distress.
Tunnip threw Gohan in his pod, "my family is going to kick your ass!" Gohan yelled, Gohan then received a foot to the face from Tunnip and closed the pod. Tunnip sat on top of his pod "Did we really have to take these kids, that one keeps crying and the other one is a smart ass".
"Yeah they're annoying but they are strong for kids, they must have trained them well," Vocado said acknowledging the children's strength. Vocado smirked as his scouter began going off, "hm they're coming, and they're coming fast" he said, "you think they're going to comply with us?" Tunnip questioned, "of course, they would be foolish if they challenged us".
The Z fighters landed in front of the two saiyans, "so you and your friends have decided to join us?" Tunnip assumed, "no we're here to take back my son's!" Chichi exclaimed, "your children are fine but they will be better after we take them to vegeta" Vocado chuckled slightly after he spoke.
Chichi clenched her fist in rage, she began to tie her hair into a bun and was preparing to charge at the two but was stopped by goku who put a hand on her shoulder "chichi don't be reckless, I want to get the kids too but if we mess up this plan we'll all die, so calm down", Chichi relaxed her muscles and waited for the plan to start,
Piccolo, Kuroda, and goku took off their weighted clothing, "alright i think we should go after that tunnip guy first", remember to get ahold of his tail" piccolo said, he put two fingers on his forehead and began charging his special beam cannon.
The others stepped in front of piccolo and got into battle stances, "me, Kuroda, and Yamcha will hold off vocado while we take care of tunnip" raditz communicated.
"Whatever you've got planned it won't work, you should just give up now", Tunnip shouted but the Z fighters didn't listen, They charged at the saiyans with full force with the intent to avenge krillin.
Krillin has lost his life by tunnip and vocado the ruthless saiyans from raditz and kuroda's past, not only that but they decided to take the young saiyan hybrids gohan and goten as replacements for kuroda, raditz and goku who refused to join them.
Filled with rage by krillin's death and the kidnapping of the kids, kuroda, raditz, goku, piccolo, tien, yamcha, chichi, and chiaotzu decide to quit their mourning, avenge their friend and save the kids.

A/N:We are finally here at the beginning of the dragon ball z era and the beginning of the saiyan saga. Just in case you don't remember, tunnip and vocado are saiyans I made that also survived the destruction of planet vegeta because they were with prince vegeta. They are taking the place of raditz since raditz is a z fighter in this story.
I decided to kill off krillin so early because I think more than one person would die to these saiyans. So I decided one of the humans and a saiyan from the z fighters should die, the saiyan is most likely going to be goku but I still haven't decided yet. Krillin's confession to kuroda will evolve later on in the series so strap in for that.
