I do not own Once Upon a Time.
Ok, this short chapter is just flashbacks to our favorite couple interacting with Ursula. And how they were set up.
Enjoy.

"I'm so glad we finally got together to catch up." Sabine said clicking her glass against her friend's.
"Yes, it's been too long. How is the PhD going?" Ursula asked.
"Inching closer to the finish line and that degree slowly but surely. What about you, working on your fifteen degree?" she asked, half-jokingly.
"That's great about your progress. And it is not my fifteen. I decided to dip my toes in political science and get a BA."
"Nice, now remind me what other degrees you have. I can never remember all of them."
"PhD in Marine biology, master's in chemistry, BA in American Sign Language, BA in music. And I am considering a BA in women's studies."
"Where do you find the time for all these? And then find a way to be useful with each and every degree?" Sabine asked, she was quite impressed.
"I just do." Ursula paused, looking at her friend. She needed to bring up an important topic. "How have you been?"
"Good, I'm good." Sabine gave a fake smile.
"Sabine, don't lie to me." The sea witch scolded her. "You need to get laid." That seemed like a logical solution.
Sabine choked on her drink. "Wow? Really? What exactly told you that?"
"Your body language, darling."
"Is that your solution to my problem? A guy?"
"To your loneliness yes." Ursula sighed and became serious. "Sabine, it's been three years. Justin wouldn't want you to be sad and lonely for this long."
Sabine just stared at Ursula, knowing she was right. Maybe she was ready to admit it and accept help. "You going to set me up with someone who works for your brother?"
"Heavens no. They are all straight-laced pencil pushers. That's not what you need."
"And what do I need?" She really wanted to know what someone believed she needed.
"Someone who understands you."
Sabine scoffed. "If you can find someone like that, hook me up."
A smile crossed Ursula's face. That was exactly what she was going to do.
[how many months ago?]
Killian Jones found himself standing on a beach facing a sea witch. One he hoped returned his friendship. "Ursula, good to see you again."
"Is it, Jones? Didn't think you had time for a visit with me anymore. With all the pirating you do now." Ursula looked Killian over, something was different about him. Had her plan worked?
"I always have time for an old friend."
"Friend? I am guessing you need my help with something?" She kept hope out of her voice.
"I am requesting a way to visit another realm."
"Why?"
"There's a lass." Killian told her.
"There aren't enough women in the Enchanted Forest? Are they not throwing themselves at you anymore? You need to go somewhere else?"
"This one is special, different, amazing..."
"I get the point. You are lucky I like you Killian." A smile bloomed on her face.
"I know." Killian returned her smile.
"I have just the thing to help you."
[how many months ago?]
"Jones, nice to see you again." Ursula greeted him. "Been a while since you came to my place."
The pirate smiled, but he seemed uncomfortable. "I need your help again." He shifted from foot to foot. The lair wasn't the most welcoming place to be.
"What trouble did you get yourself into now?" She seemed to forget her last favor to him and what it entailed.
"I want to leave the Enchanted Forest for good. And the only way to safely do it is to fake my death."
Ursula looked up from her work to stare. "Fake your death? There's no coming back from that. What's the reason?"
"Love."
The sea witch smiled. "She's worth it?"
"Everything and more." Killian sounded so sure of it.
"Let's come up with a plan then."
It was a spectacle, it really was. Ursula couldn't have done any better. The Jolly Roger sailed into a storm that whipped it around like a toy in a bathtub. Though her captain tried to stay afloat, Killian Jones fell overboard into the dark waters. The perfect ending for the pirate.
"You didn't have to make it so convincing." Killian complained, shaking the water from his coat.
They stood in an underground ca, far from the action. "You want to close this chapter of your life; it needs to be memorable for the viewer. Now Killian Jones, are you ready for your next chapter?"
"Yes."
"Good and here's a little parting gift from me."
Killian felt something he hadn't in years, an extra weight that he had become comfortable without. He looked down and his own left hand was there once again. He was at first speechless. "You could have done this the whole time?"
"I could have, but you couldn't afford it before." Ursula told him honestly.
"What's the price?"
"Maybe sure she's happy."
"That I can do."
"I know. Now go. Don't leave your lady love waiting too long."
Reviews please.
Did you like the flashbacks? There won't be anymore but I think these few were needed.
