Metropolis
Night
On a rooftop, Clark Kent, also known as Kal-El, watched as one by one, the Kandorians turned against Zod after learning the truth about what happened to Faora. Vala moved towards Zod, attempting to avenge her sister only to be stopped by a Kandorian who bore an uncanny resemblance to Frank Pike.
"Wait! We'll deal with him once we're on our own soil," Basqat told her.
Vala glared daggers at Zod for a moment before nodding, turning to face Clark.
"Kal-El, take us home," she commanded.
Clark walked over to the crystal console at the center of the rooftop, holding out the Book of Roa. The disk flew from his grasp and landed in the slot designed for it. The console glowed bright yellow and shot up a beam of yellow light into the sky. Clark and the Kandorians looked at it in awe, the Kandorians one by one vanishing in a flash of light.
Clark would not realize until later he had made a very big mistake. For while he had sent Zod and the Kandorians away to where they could start over, make sure Krypton could start again, the gateway he had opened was not one way. And something else had slipped through.
Starling City
Later that night
In his apartment, Adrian Chase, formerly known as Simon Morrison, was continuing his research into Oliver Queen in preparation for his mission to make Oliver suffer for killing his father, Justin Clayborne.
Adrian's hair then stood on end, an uncomfortable feeling coming over him. Looking over his shoulder, he saw what seemed to be a dark cloud moving through the sky at an unusually fast speed, heading towards his window. To Adrian's shock, his window shattered and the cloud struck Adrian, causing him to cry out in pain.
He'd try to describe what happened afterwards, but he could not. But, as his eyes turned pure black, he knew he had the tools needed to make Oliver Queen suffer.
"Patience," a voice in his mind told him. "You shall make Oliver Queen suffer soon enough. But for now, my plans must be put in motion. You know what you must do."
"Yes, Darkseid," Adrian muttered to the empty room, not sure how he knew the name of the entity speaking to him.
But he didn't care. As long as it helped him destroy Oliver Queen, he would serve it gladly.
Yes, Smallville is going to be part of this universe. I've put little references here and there but now it's finally time for it to officially enter the series.
Now, it's impossible for Smallville to completely fold into this universe for obvious reasons, so I have made some changes to its timeline to allow this to happen, as well as used my own creative license for certain things.
The first five seasons, along with the season six premiere, happened pretty much the same, with little changes, if any.
Obviously, I had to remove the Oliver Queen arc this season, although Clark did meet Arrowverse Oliver during this time (that mission to Kansas that's been mentioned a few times). What happened during this meeting will be delved into during the next story. The Smallville Justice League never fully forms, but Clark does on occasion team up with someone like AC, Victor and Bart (who does still exist in this version of Smallville BTW).
The rest of season six more or less happens the same way, until 'Phantom'. The scene where Lionel reveals the truth about why Lana married Lex happens at Lionel's office at LuthorCorp rather than at the mansion. Lex, in a violent rage, murders Lionel and, in a panic, flees the scene to head to the dam. Clark discovers Lionel's body when he goes to confront him over Lana and John then appears, explaining to him what exactly Lionel was working on and why he forced Lana to marry Lex.
Clark's confrontation with Bizarro happens the same except without Lionel. Lex is then arrested for Lionel's murder and Lana's (she still frames Lex for her 'murder' and skips town). Lex is put on trial and Tess appears a season earlier as the replacement CEO of Luthorcorp. Like in canon, Tess remains loyal to Lex, paying for his defense until she learns about him putting cameras behind her eyes (how she learns this is up to everyone's imagination), at which point she fires Lex's lawyer, convinces the board to make her permanent CEO of LuthorCorp and cuts all ties to Lex, who ends up going to prison for life without parole. Like in canon, Tess also has a similar obsession with Clark, although nowhere to the same level as Lex.
Lana also stays gone after framing Lex, so she never returns. The Kara arc does happen pretty much the same as it did in the show, with her being put in the Phantom Zone by Brainiac. After defeating Brainac, Clark frees her before Kara leaves to find Kandor.
Season eight happens more or less the same except without Smallville Oliver and Lana never shows make up. Clark and Lois do kiss in 'Bride' but never really get to try something out between the Doomsday plot and Chloe's involvement in that.
Season nine happens without any Oliver Queen storylines and Checkmate does not exist in this version of the show. The Justice Society Arc does happen, but rather than Checkmate, it was Hydra posing as SHIELD who forced them into hiding and Icicle JR was acting alone after Ward and Garret took the Fridge before being picked up by ARGUS after the events of 'Absolute Justice'. And that's how Smallville fits into this universe.
Also, in this version of Smallville, Chloe is played by Chloe Grace Mortez. Thank you to Aragorn II Elessar for the suggestion.
And Chase is now working for Darkseid. I was never all that impressed with Chase as Prometheus (Chase is a pretty poor villain when you realize the entire plot is written to accommodate his plans and make him seem super smart), but my version of him will be very different.
And that's the end of the story. But until next timeā¦
Redemption by Mitchel Broom plays.

"I told you there would be a war, Charles," Magneto told Charles as the two Mutants stood face to face.
"You have no idea how much this will change you," Oliver told Barry hotly.
"I need your help," Chloe told Barry as they stood in his lab.
"So, where's the fight?" Peter asked Chloe.
Barry was running when he looked over, surprised to see another Flash running beside him.
"I don't know what's happening," Barry admitted shakily.
Oliver, in his suit, is in a club when he whirled around, pausing as he saw Clark.
"Clark?"
"Oliver?"

"My name is Adrian Chase. And I'm about to make you the offer of a lifetime," Adrian told Ross with a smirk.
Bobbi is fighting off men in a bar.
"Hydra was nothing compared to what's about to happen," Fury said darkly.
"If we don't stand together, we prove the world right about us," Clark told the assembled heroes.
"This is when your life changes forever," Brainiac told Clark.
"You need to forgive yourself," a blond woman told Oliver.
"It's been a long time," Magneto told a man with grey hair, who glared at him.
"Not long enough."
"I can't do this on my own," Oliver said with a sigh.
"You're not alone," Sara said.
Oliver and Sara are shown sharing a meal with the Avengers, X-Men, Matt, Barry and Peter.
Charles (VO): This is what life looks like. A home, family, people who love each other.
Various shots of Oliver with his family, the Avengers, Sara and Bobbi are seen.
Charles (VO): Take a moment to feel it.
"Your lives will always be more important to me than my own," Oliver told his team.
"I think you're one loss away from being completely destroyed," Adrian told Oliver.

"What do you know about your father?" Fury asked Peter, who looked at him sharply.
Chloe was shown putting on the Helmet of Fate.
"I think we have another problem," Oliver said grimly.
Oliver and Prometheus are seen fighting.
"The Arrow is mine," Prometheus said.
"Calls himself Prometheus," Quentin told Oliver.
"I'll need all the help I can get to stop him," Oliver said grimly.
Oliver and Sara are seen standing with Clark, The Avengers, the X-Men, Fury, Matt and Peter.
Prometheus (VO): I know who you love.
Oliver and Bobbi share a kiss.
Prometheus (VO): And I'm going to take them all away from you.
Team Arrow, Moira, Thea, Laurel and Quentin are shown kneeling on the floor, various men with guns aiming at them.
"You have failed this city!" Oliver shouted.
"Not as badly as you, Oliver," Prometheus said before they rushed each other.
Fury (VO): There was an idea, to bring together a group of remarkable people.
Various shots of Oliver, Barry, Clark, Matt, the Avengers and X-Men are seen.
Fury (VO): To fight the battles we never could.
"Eons have passed since I came face to face with a force that could possibly tip the balance to the light," Darkseid declared as he faced Clark.
People scream in terror as Apakolips is seen in Earth's sky.
"I need your help," Clark said, standing outside a prison cell and the person inside laughed.
"Hello, Clark."
The screen goes black before the title card appears.
Oliver Queen: Avenger book 2.

Not sure when I'll get to the next story, still have some stuff I need to plan out, but hope you all enjoyed the trailer.
