"as predicted," Keyes said, "you human and your emotions," he laughed, "and thus your tale ends as his, and his father continues," Keyes said, "but once FACE goes off, that will be another story." as Juvia started to get absorbed into a small ball her hat falling to the ground as it exploded.
"Juvia," Lucy shouted
"no," Gajeel said, "she can't be gone."
"another tale comes to an end," Keyes said, "but it is merely a footnote in my glorious saga," Keyes said as everyone looked at him as his body started to bulge out "what."
"I meant it," Juvia said
"no, she turned herself into water," Keyes cried as he felt water growing in his body "how could I have been so careless" Keye cried "no, this shan't be the end of me," Keyes shouted as his body danced around.
"you will never sever the bond of father and son," Juvia shouted as Keyes explained, sending water everywhere as his body started to dissolve. "Gray's father will always live on in his heart," Juvia shouted. "you can never remove him from that sacred place."
"no," Keyes muttered, "how," Keyes said, "but still you killed his father," Keyes laughed, "but my tale has come to an end."
"he's dead," Torafuzar muttered "she killed him"

"Forgive me, Gray," Juvia muttered. "I swear I did it for you," Juvia said "please understand that"
"thank you," Silver's voice rang in her head "you freed me," he said. "I'm going to go now, but promise me something," Silver said "the road Gray has to walk is going to be destructive," he said "there no one on earthland who he trusts more than you," he said "so please," he said, "take care of him for me will ya."
"Okay," Juvia cried. "I promise I will."
Gray said nothing as he closed his father's eyes as his body slowly started to disappear as well "goodbye, dad."
"Gray," Silver's voice rang through the air, "you need to finish my fight," he said. "I am an ice devil slayer," Silver said, "as such, I'm one of the few who can take down E.N.D.," he explained, "a fire demon, that is our legacy," he said, "and now it's yours."
"I understand," Gray said as a symbol appeared on his arm. "I promise, dad."
"I will destroy E.N.D."
Tartaros arc: Gajeel vs. Torafuzar: honor and pride
Juvia still felt shell shocked as everyone stared at her, the sun vanishing on the horizon as tears streamed down her face "that human," Torafuzar muttered "that mere human killed a demon," he said in shock
"way to go, Juvia," Natsu said
"Told ya you still had it," Gajeel laughed as Juvia let out a cough, purple blood coming from her mouth "Juvia," Gajeel screamed.
"bane particles," Tempester said smiling.
"look like Keyes managed to infect her" Torafuzar smiled "one for one," he laughed. as Juvia let out several more violent coughs as she used her magic on herself, pulling out as much blood as she could as she fell to the ground. "what is she doing."
"she removed the bane particles," Natsu said "by turning herself into water," Natsu said as Juvia fell over. Lucy ran to catch her
"I got you," Lucy said, "come on, Juvia, say something to me."
"Lucy," Juvia muttered as she opened her eyes, "where's Gray," Juvia said. "I need to tell him."
"it's okay," Lucy said, hugging her "he'll be back before you know it"
"Natsu," Cana called. "Happy," she called again "come on guys, where are you," she said. "I know you can hear me."
"Lucy, Gray," Laki shouted. "Erza," she called again. "Lily, Gajeel," she said behind her. She was followed by Macao, Romeo, and Millianna, all of which were looking for fairy tail as they were the only ones missing after they crashed into the ground "where are you."
"where could they be" Cana asked
"with all this shouting, I'm surprised we haven't attracted any heat," Macao said
"that's probably Sabertooth," Cana said "their members might be drawing attention" she looked around "still, we need to find Natsu and the others," she said, "while most of the grunts went down with this place, the nine demon gates are still out there."
"yeah," Laki said, "it's never that easy" she frowned, "We should move"
"But what if Levy comes back," Macao said, "or Riana, she went to look for Cosmos and Kagura."
"Yukino said that they were making a camp near the outside of this place," she said "if anything, they'll meet us there" she looked away. "I just hope they're okay," she said
"I'm sure they're fine," Cana said "it's Natsu and his band of misfits I'm worried about," she said, "they have a habit of getting into trouble."
"yeah," Laki said, "and the injured," she sighed, "Miko and Porlyusica probably have no one protecting them."
"hopefully, Elfman comes around," Cana said
"Jet, Droy," Levy called. "Gajeel," Levy called again. "Where am I," she asked, "how did I get here," she said as she came to a ledge "well, this narrows my options," she sighed as she turned to go back the way she came.

Mard Geer smiled as he jumped back as Sting and Rogue landed away, a smile forming on his face. "I think I see now," he said "the two of you are dragon slayers," he laughed "of the second generation," he said as Sting and Rogue backed up "that explains how you've lasted so long against me" he laughed "there are more of you than I thought, I was under the impression there were only four of your kind left."
"what does that mean," Sting asked, "it doesn't change anything that's about to happen."
"you're going down, so prepare," Rogue said
"While humans have stood up to me before, you have lasted the longest," Mard Geer chuckled "in fact, this is the second best fight I've had since I got here," he laughed "you might be worth my effort" he looked away "might," Mard Geer said, "then again I am enjoying myself, and I don't want to end this too quickly."
"if your so damn strong, why don't you show us" Rogue shouted as she tried to punch Mard Geer, who blocked it with one hand.
"you humans and your arrogance," Mard Geer laughed "if you feel you can't beat me," he said, "you can do a dance, and if I enjoy it, I might spare your lives."
"damn it," Rogue said, "and he's still fighting while holding that book."
"his defense is iron clad," Sting said
"what's the matter," Mard Geer asked "losing nerve, it's okay" he smiled "many do when they realize what they're up against," he laughed.
"you talk about us being arrogant," Sting said as he attacked him again "look in a mirror lately," he shouted.
"unlike you, boy" Mard Geer jumped away. "I have the power to back it up," he laughed. "I could kill you both whenever I wanted, but I want to enjoy myself a little longer."
"Then I had to ask how much this is going to cost us," Franmalth went on as the entire group deadpanned as the mushroom went on and on about things they didn't care about at the moment.
"he's talkative," Lily muttered.
"Why did I leave my earbuds at home" Happy muttered
"he's clearly stalling," Lector said, "so we should think about how we're going to cook him."
"he's not good raw," Frosh said
"I say we boil him," Erza said, "that way, I don't have to hear his screams."
"well, I want to," Kagura said, "so I'll chop him up first, "Minerva said nothing.
"I can't believe I left Sting and Rogue on their own," Minerva muttered, "they're going to need a miracle to win against a foe like him."
"miracles are a nice thing," Erza said, "but I have faith they'll see it through" Erza smiled, "there strong."
"look at that," Lector said, "our Milady worrying about our boys," he smiled, "almost warms your heart."
"us frogs are cold-blooded," Frosh said
"maybe deep down she is a good person," Kagura muttered
"yeah, Milady is the best," Lector said, "her cooking would blow you out the water."
"really," Lily asked.
"can she cook mackerel," Happy asked, "that's my favorite type of cooked fish?"
"of course, she can," Lector said, "and don't get me wrong, it tastes amazing, but her smoke Salmon is to die for." he smiled "man when I close my eyes, I can still see the last meal she made"
"I wish fantasies were edible," Frosh said
"she can cook," Lily muttered "she'd make an excellent wife," he said absentmindedly.
"for someone else, right" Lector asked.
"you four sound comfortable," Erza said "maybe you should stay there," she said
"no, ma'am," Lily shouted as they all ran to catch up,
"man, Erza has a commanding presence," Lector muttered
"Why are we running" Frosh asked
"cause when Erza get mad, she" Happy started
"Happy, you know she has ears like a fox," Lily said
"hey Erza," Lector asked, "how would you rate your cooking skills."
"Erza's not allowed in the kitchen," Happy said, "not after the incident"
"incident," Frosh asked,
"that bad, huh," Lector asked
"It was not an incident, Happy," Erza said. "Mavis just agreed to teach me how to cook," Erza explained "seeing how well Mira can cook, I figured she could do it pretty well," Erza said
"Just thinking about it makes my stomach hurt," Happy muttered. "I haven't seen Natsu make a face like that since the window shatter incident."
"incidents happen a lot in Magnolia, don't they" Lector asked
"well, it's never boring," Lily admitted
"How was I supposed to know that Mavis couldn't cook," Erza asked, "no one told me."
"That was our fault," Happy said. "Mira usually cooks everything, so we kinda forget about that."
"well, it's her or Juvia," Lily said, "but don't worry, Erza, you're at least better than Gajeel and Gray."
"I'd take that as an insult more than a compliment," Happy muttered
"what about you, Kagura," Lector asked
"master Riana taught me the basics," Kagura said, "though I wouldn't call myself a chef," Kagura admitted
"hey, sometimes the basics are all you need," Minerva said. "I can show you a thing or two if you want."
"I'll think about it," Kagura said
"hey, so no cooking is going to happen now, right," Franmalth said
"we're going to chop you up long before I can teach Kagura the art of shrimp etouffee," Minerva growled as Franmalth shivered in fear
"might help us get some practice in," Erza said, "might finally show Mira, she can let me back into the kitchen."
"you don't want to eat me," Franmalth said. "I taste like fear; I'll cooperate"
Lily smiled as he looked away "wherever you are, Gajeel, I hope you're safe."
Natsu turned back to see that Lucy still had Juvia. He gave a sigh of relief "is she okay" Natsu asked.
"she passed out," Lucy said, "but she's alive" she looked at him
"Alright," Natsu said "you need to get her out of here," Natsu said
"yeah, before the rampage begins," Gajeel said
"alright but"
"We know," Natsu and Gajeel said as Lucy picked up Juvia. Natsu rushed in Tempester smiled as Natsu let out a breath attack.
"swoosh," Tempester whispered as a tornado appeared, blocking Natsu's fire as Gajeel ran at Torafuzer.
"{iron dragon club}" he screamed as the demon blocked the attack with little effort.
"got you're second wind, have you," Torafuzar said as Gajeel backed up
"man, these guys are tougher than they look," Natsu said
"yeah, but we can take em," Gajeel said
"your weak," Tempester said as Natsu and Gajeel let out a growl.
"no," Torafuzar said, "we must recognize their strength," Torafuzar noted, "it's clear these two aren't human. "Their dragon slayers. Said to be the strongest of human wizards," he said, "only the full might of an Etherious can conquer these foes" Torafuzar shouted as he started to take a new form. He became even more muscular, gaining larger and sharper teeth, showing more defined lips, and growing two small fins at his head's sides, whereas the darker section on top of it takes on the appearance of a single, massive, webbed fin. His chin plate becomes more prominent and squared, sporting a vertical line of studs on each end. In this state, he loses his arm blades but, in turn, gains much larger forearms and hands, the latter ones bearing a resemblance to gauntlets due to their segmented appearance; the same could be said for his now exposed lower legs, which have taken on a more beastly appearance, sporting talons. He gains multiple series of holes aligned linearly on his upper body and grows a small, pointed segmented tail getting more minor near its tip. His clothes disappear, leaving him clad in a short pair of dark baggy pants with light knee sections, and he dons soft metallic bands sporting massive studs on his biceps, wrists, and below his knees, plus a plain one around his waist. His arms' extreme growth, coupled with his legs' moderate one, makes him retain roughly the same posture and proportions as for his usual form.
"there might is nothing," Tempester shouted as he started to transform as well. His body began to look similar to his previous appearance, at will. His hair becomes much more prolonged and wilder, jutting out in various directions, and he gains a beard, dark snout, and more prominent and sharper teeth. His body becomes much more muscular, and his arms and lower body are covered in a dark mist of Magical Barrier Particles. "we shall show them the true terror of the netherworld."
"please tell me you two can turn into monsters," Lucy shouted
"hey, now they got serious" Natsu smiled
"We should follow suit," Gajeel said
"{lighting flame dragon mode}" Natsu screamed
"{iron shadow dragon mode}" Gajeel screamed
"true form Etherious," Torafuzar and Tempester shouted. as Natsu and Gajeel let out a roar
"What am I watching" Lucy deadpanned 'forget that; I need to get Juvia clear'
"I almost forgot you could do that," Natsu said
"figured since you did it," Gajeel laughed, "so now you ready to stop playing with our new toys."
"yeah," Natsu said, "I was getting tired of playing with them anyway."

"What are they" Torafuzar started as Natsu and Gajeel rushed them in the blink of an eye, punching both to the ground as lucy looked in shock
"dragon slayers," she whispered as Natsu and Gajeel dominated their opponents.
"Take this," Torafuzar shouted as he tried to hit Gajeel, who turned into a shadow "what."
"you can't catch a shadow," Gajeel taunted as Torafuzar tried to hit him again "{iron shadow dragon: club}" Gajeel screamed as Torafuzar fell back "{iron shadow dragon: lance demon logs}."
"Boosh" Tempester shouted as Natsu danced around him
"{lighting flame dragon: talon}" Natsu screamed as he kicked Tempester to the ground
"What did they turn into," Tempester asked, "there's no way these two are human."
"you ready, Gajeel," Natsu asked,
"you bet."
"{Lighting flame dragon: roar}."
"{Iron shadow dragon: roar}."
"holy crap," Lucy shouted, "why do you two always do this."
"can't help it," Natsu said
"yeah," Gajeel, "it's."
"a dragon slayer thing I know," Lucy shouted.
Torafuzar struggled to his feet "what strength" he muttered, "it would seem it is time for me to use my curse" he smiled as the ground around them started to shake "feel the wrath of the Tenchi Kaimei." as a large wave of black water surrounded the group.
"What is this" Romeo shouted
"We need to get to higher ground," Cana shouted
"why is it so dark" Macao shouted
"no need to tell me twice," Millianna shouted
"This must be Tartaros," Levy muttered "it matches their color scheme," she whispered as she looked back 'wait, I thought I heard Gajeel' she said, "this is definitely not my best idea," Levy whispered as she dived into the water.
'how much water did old shark breath make" Gajeel asked as he looked around
'We need to find higher ground," Lucy said, 'or we'll drown. She looked to Juvia, can Juvia even breathe in this;' Lucy asked as Torafuzar attacked Natsu and Gajeel
'take this," Natsu said as he tried to use his magic, only for it to go out 'right lighting and fire are not so good when mixed with water," Natsu muttered as he looked around as Torafuzar attacked Gajeel.
"Salamander," Gajeel screamed, "you need to get the girls out of here," he shouted as he saw Natsu pass out "damn it," he said. "Salamander's down. He looked and saw Lucy was down to "what is this stuff."
"The water of an Etherious," Torafuzar said, "this water is filled with poison. They'll be dead in five minutes, no wait, your kind needs air to live" Torafuzar laughed "they'll be dead before the poison sets in" he laughed Gajeel looked down he saw Tempester just sitting there.
"so that's why the other one isn't attacking," Gajeel whispered "well, you're not taking me down," Gajeel shouted as he attacked 'I need to take him down, then the water goes to," Gajeel said as Torafuzar dodged around him, slamming him into the ground.
"you cannot best me here," Torafuzer said. "I am at an advantage, " he screamed "you are strong for a human, but you will be lost in the pitch-black sea," he shouted.
"another hit like that, and I'm done," Gajeel muttered. "I need focus" Gajeel shook his head. "I could use my seal, but" he looked at Natsu, "no, I don't need it," Gajeel reasoned. "I can beat him with my shadows," he screamed "{iron shadow dragon sword}" he shouted as he attacked Torafuzer, who brushed it off as he punched him away "he's too strong."
"This is the might of Tartaros," Torafuzar shouted as he punched Gajeel to the ground.
"no," Gajeel muttered, "I can't there all counting on me." Gajeel said, "I need to breathe," he said, "I can't even move" as Gajeel started to black out, Levy appeared
"Gajeel," Levy muttered, "hold on" as she rushed to him, performing CPR. as Gajeel opened his eyes.
"Levy," Gajeel muttered as Levy started to pass out, "when did she" Torafuzar smiled.
"I'll show you to interrupt my fight," he screamed.
"no time," Gajeel shouted. "I have no choice he said as his body glowed "gotta take that risk," he screamed as he slammed into Torafuzer as his parts of his iron armor turned into black scales. "I have to sue my dragon force," Gajeel shouted. as he punched him away, grabbing levy
"you're not going to hurt anyone."
