Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to fairy tail re-told. The war with Tartaros has taken a heavy toll on our heroes as they continue their battle with the nine demon gates of Tartaros. Our heroes have given their all to take down these powerful foes; however, many remain. The wizard saint Cosmos now gets ready to battle with the demon of disaster Tempester, the demon who took down Laxus and the thunder Legion. Will she be able to take down this powerful opponent? Natsu: did we ever make it up to Cosmos for attacking the castle

Carla: well, that's not untrue

Cosmos was on one knee, surrounded by the current members of the magic council. In front of her stood Org; above him was the chairmen Crawford Seam. "you Cosmos have been chosen to rise to the status of the ten wizard saints," Org started as Cosmos looked to the ground. A part of her was giddy. Still, another part of her felt that this gig would stall her duties to the kingdom of Fiore. The council told her that she could continue her task in the country "do you swear to uphold the values of the magic world" Org asked.

"I swear," Cosmos said, "will all that I am" it was moments later when Cosmos exited the room. "man, that was long," Cosmos looked around "maybe I should check out Era," Cosmos muttered. "I rarely get to travel."

"you should try the ramen shop," a voice called as Cosmos jumped a bit as she saw a short, balding man sitting. It was master Makarov, one of the senior members of the wizard saints "also, congrats."

"umm, thank you, sir," Cosmos said, "it's a big honor."

"yes, but it should be more than that, hmm," Makarov said. "I know you have your doubts," he said as the girl looked at him, confused. He smiled "it's written all over your face" Makarov laughed this was enough to get Cosmos to blush "fear not, it's normal becoming a wizard saint is a big responsibility," Makarov said "even I had my doubts but knew this" he smiled at her "this position doesn't make no different than the wizards we serve with," Makarov said, "all it does is give the people of Ishgar someone to look to, a person to give them hope."

"Hope," Cosmos whispered as Makarov turned to take his leave

"something for you to think about," Makarov said as he started to leave. "I know you'll do great things, young Cosmos."

"I," Cosmos stopped, "I'll try my best, sir."

Tartaros arc: The wizard saints Cosmos.

Cosmos' hand went to her stomach, That last attack had done a number on her, but she couldn't stop now. Her mind from going to Laxus and his friends. 'I need to beat this demon, ' Cosmos thought to herself. She looked back; Natsu and the others were passed out with Gajeel still standing, but there was no way he could fight now "it all falls to me," Cosmos said, "cause I'm a wizard saint." she looked back "and right now" she whispered, "my friends need me more than ever."

Miko looked from the side of the rock as she heard someone coming. "I think someone is coming," she whispered as Porlyusica stood up "can we hide the injured?

"There you are," Millianna said, making Miko scream as she fell to the ground "sorry did I scare you."

"guys there over here," a voice called. It was Yukino, who was with Rufus, who smiled at her "sorry about the scare," she said, "we've been looking all over for you," as Miko leaned back against the wall.

"I think I'm going to have a heart attack by the night's end," Miko whispered.

"Miko are you okay," Wakaba asked as he ran her.

"I'll be fine," the woman answered, "just next time, I want to stay at home."

"Sorry about that," Wakaba said as Cana came forward

"the injured," she asked

"they're all here," Porlyusica said, "and all are still alive for now," Porlyusica said "thanks to Sabertooth," she explained, "however we still need to find that demon," Porlyusica said

"right, the one with the bane particles," Yukino said

"if memory serves me right," Rufus muttered, "the demon would be here."

"right," Cana said, "We should organize more search parties," the girl said, "fairy tail is still out there too."

"Please be careful," Porlyusica said "no telling what other secrets this guild is hiding"

"Alright, Rufus, you mind staying with the injured while we got out and look," Cana asked.

"it would be my pleasure," Rufus said

"Alright," Cana said as she turned to everyone else, "come on, let's comb this wreckage and find where fairy tail ran off to," Cana said, "and if we're lucky enough, they'll find the demon with the bane particles."

"so," Cosmos said as she got ready to start fighting again, "you ready to finish this fight."

"be careful," Gajeel shouted.

"let's go," Cosmos shouted as she rushed forward. A vine grew from the grand as Tempester jumped to the side as Cosmos landed her grow flow plant coming from the ground "got ya," Cosmos said as she placed her hand on a diamond as the plant went up "now {Grow flora}" Cosmos screamed as the plan fired an energy beam as Tempester jumped out of the way.

"What, the" Tempester shouted, "I thought she could only control plants."

'she's not just controlling plants," Gajeel muttered "her magic it's like that Azuma guy," he thought, "she connected with the energy in them as well, and she can use them to attack.'

"Take this," Cosmos shouted, "{Tamara Kamura}" Cosmos screamed as a large explosion broke from the attack. Cosmos backed up as she smiled "it's been a while since I got that use that spell."

"was that the best you can do," Tempester asked "swoosh," he shouted as she rushed forward. Cosmos covered herself in vines, only for Tempester to blast through them "crumble," he whispered again as a rock slammed into Cosmos, making her cough up blood as she slid back, falling to one knee. "you are impressive," Tempester said, "but you will not best me," he said, "I am one of the nine demon gates" Tempester noted, "an Etherious" he screamed, "A mere human will not best me."

"you've already been beaten by two," Cosmos said as she struggled to her feet. as he raised her hand, creating a large flower which shot bullets into the air as Tempester ran around them, "and your about to be beaten by me" she screamed as she continued her assault on the demon she saw some blood come from him as it hit the ground dissolving "shoot."

"you are no Makarov," Tempester said, "he had power," he said as he stopped.

"True," Cosmos said, "but I'm still a wizard saint," she said, "so give it your best shot," Cosmos said, "you won't beat me."

"swoosh" Tempester shouted.

"{Spore Bomb: Rinka Renka}" Cosmos shouted as multiple explosions broke out as the ground shook.

"inferno" Tempester shouted as Cosmos jumped back as the explosion broke out, landing on the ground as Tempester smiled at her.

"you have two choices," Tempester said "you continue to fight this losing battle and be destroyed," he said, "or give up and be destroyed."

"not much of a choice if I'm going to die either way," Cosmos muttered, "but fine, let us play your game" Cosmos rushed in again, wrapping a vine around her leg, "but I'm taking you down," she shouted as she kicked him as Tempester back up as Cosmos jumped back as threw some seeds into Tempester face raising her hand as an explosion making him jump back

"die" Tempester shouted as he and Cosmos punched each other fists creating a shock wave as the pair slid back "swish," Tempester called as bubbles appeared around Cosmos, forcing her to jump.

"{fly trap shot}" Cosmos shouted as multiple fly traps appeared, attacking and sending out exploding seeds as Tempester ran away from them, then jumped at her kicking her into a boulder as he waved his hand. Another one rose from the ground slamming into her.

"Cosmos" Gajeel screamed as a plant appeared from the ground, it was human-sized. As it opened, Cosmos fell to the ground "are you okay."

"Stay back," Cosmos shouted "let me take care of this" she looked at Tempester, "I have to do this."

"you stand no chance of beating me," Tempester shouted, "give in."

"I'd know if I was out of my league," Cosmos said, "but right now, I think I'm pretty good," Cosmos said as she jumped forward as fly traps wrapped around, he arms as she jumped up, landing on the pillar where a plant grew around her leg as she jumped don "{fly bomb multiple shot}" Cosmos shouted as she kicked Tempester creating a large explosion as Tempester slid back as Cosmos punched him he caught him as the plant exploded.

"crack and smash," Tempester shouted as Cosmos was blasted into the ground. "savor your last breath, human."

"I can't stop now," Cosmos muttered. "I need to keep going."

Flashback

[## guild memories ost##]

"When I was young, my father was a member of the famed executioner squad of Fiore, and as such, it was no question that I would join the royal army, and I became good at what I did.'

"wow, Cosmos," a lady said, bending down over the young girl, "you're good with your plant magic" she smiled, "you'll do great things; I know it."

"you mean like my father," Cosmos asked.

"you know what, dear," the lady said as she bent down in front of her, "I know that you're going to be better than him."

"did you hear," someone said, "they want Cosmos to be a wizard saint"

"wizard saints," Cosmos asked as Kama looked at her

"yes," Kama said, "it's a high honor for most wizards" he smiled at her "you should take it having a wizard saint in our ranks will be a mark of your skill," he said, smiling

"yeah," Cosmos said

"for so long, I was going through life, no idea where I was going. Then I started to meet all of you.'

Makarov sighed as he walked through the headquarters of the magic council. The weeks since phantoms disbandment had been chaotic, to say the least going over all the paperwork and evidence that had come out about Phantom Lord. How could a guild have such a dark side beyond him? The amount of undercover and blackmail the guild had on other guilds was appalling. "Master Makarov," hearing his name, he turned to see Cosmos walking up to him.

"Ah, young Cosmos," Makarov said, looking at the girl and one of the more recent wizard saints 'if I remember correctly, she was appointed to the position rather recently alongside that Siegrain fellow' he smiled at her "what can I do for you."

"The council has an emergency meeting," she said, "They wanted to know if you would sit in."

Makarov scratched his chin 'could they be discussing Magnolia" he thought to himself. "I believe I might," he said, "are the other wizard saints staying as well."

"Umm," Cosmos said, resting a hand on her cheek, "not that I know of no," she said, "a few of them have gone out searching for wizards to replace Master Jose," she said, "and might I ask," she said making Makarov look at her "what happened to him, his hair was all grey, and he looked like he aged several hundred years."

"his fight in Magnolia must have taken its toll," Makarov said 'his current look is probably a result of the fairy law spell.'

"oh yeah, isn't that your hometown," she asked "do you know the wizard that took him down," she said, "maybe they could replace Jose as a wizard saint.

Makarov chuckled at the thought "as much as my old master would be flattered, I doubt she would accept"

"wait," Cosmos said, confused, "your master."

'you made me feel like I had found a purpose, like that the choices I made mattered when I was with you; I started to open up to everyone.'

"Someone seems happy," Kamika said

"just trying some new things, you," Cosmos said as she looked over her flowers.

"I have a new hobby," Kamika said

"do I want to know"

"It's nothing too bad."

"let real it in," Uosuke shouted as he pulled up the fish. It was Aegis & Bandou.

"oh boy," Cosmos laughed

"We should stop him," Neppa laughed

"naw, let him have his fun," Kamika said

'are bond grew, and you know what? I think it helped me grow as a person to I felt, and even though I was far away, you allowed me to be a part of it.'

"So, these are those brats you never shut up about," a voice called the group turned to see Cosmos walking up to them "hey Makarov, glad to see you were able to get out here for the games" she smiled.

"Hey, it's Cosmos," Wendy said. "I never got the chance to thank you for all the stuff that happened with the infinity clock," Wendy said, walking up to her.

"don't mention it," Cosmos said, "just a favor for old Maki over here." she leaned over, getting a good look at the wizards behind her, "so these are the fairy tail guys that vanished seven years ago," she smiled "welcome back to the land of the living I guess."

"You must be Cosmos," Natsu said "thanks," Natsu said

"I didn't know you lived in the royal city," Wendy asked

"Yeah, I work for the king directly," Cosmos explained, "the magic council wanted to put a wizard saint in Crocus, and I was chosen after the last one stepped down."

"That sounds like a lot of responsibility," Lucy said

"she's more than cable," Makarov said, "and did you do that other favor I asked of you."

"Yeah," Cosmos said, "you still owe for the infinity clock, though, so keep that in mind, old man."

"of course, dear," Makarov laughed. "I'll see what I can do, but I won't help with any of your more robust activities."

"Did you mean it," Cosmos asked, "you told me that we were friends," she said "did you" she was stopped when Mira brought her in for a hug "stop it," she whispered as tears formed in her eyes

"of course, I did," Mira said "besides," Mira said, "if you wanted to kill me, you would have done it," Mira said

"what do you mean," Wendy asked

"During our fight," Mira said, "there were three instances where she could have killed me easily," Mira said, looking at the girl, "three times where I noticed that she missed on purpose or she hesitated," Cosmos said nothing as she continued forward."

"I consider you all my friends too," Cosmos said "the time we spent together over the past few days have been fun; when I heard you were sent down here, I didn't want to believe it," Cosmos said, " so tell me, what was the real reason they sent you down here," Cosmos asked, "cause I don't believe for a second it was to steal from the king."

"you want me," Cosmo asked in tears. She had just learned about Makarov's death and, as such, was broken up, but then Laxus had approached him.

"for seven years," Laxus said, "you stood by my old man when I was gone," Laxus said "he would want at his side," Cosmos said "please," Laxus begged, "please be there for him as we guide him to his last rest," Cosmo said nothing as she wiped away her tears.

"Okay"

"you fought bravely." Tempester said, "I will make you end quick," he said as he raised his fist "swoosh," he screamed as she punched Cosmos in the stomach, making the girl let out a scream as a vine pulled him off

"you're not getting me," Cosmos grunted, "not taking me down."

"what," Tempester asked, "what were you thinking leaving yourself open."

"I needed you to get close," Cosmos said, opening an eye, "so I can do this," she said, "{knuckle plant}" she screamed as she punched Tempester in the jaw, forcing the demon to cough up blood, landing on her jacket as the demon fell back, she smiled "Gajeel," Cosmos said "catch," she said as she took off her coat leaving her in a pink shirt over her green skirt "hold that and stay behind me."

"what do you mean," Gajeel asked

"stay back, okay," Cosmos said "we got his blood," she said, "but don't think this demon is done."

"your right," Tempester said as he stood up. "I am immortal, and as long as the underworld king lives," Tempester said. "I will live forever to curse you, humans," he screamed.

"you mentioned that," Cosmos muttered as she got back to her feet,

"even though each of the nine demon gates can be revied in hell's core," Tempester said, "only I was given the title," Tempester said, "that is because my body is strongest of all." he screamed, "to kill me would be to stop my regeneration, and you do not have the strength to do that."

"that so," Cosmos asked "let's test that theory, shall we," she said as she placed her hand together, doing several hand signs as Tempester stepped back as the ground started to shake.

"what are you" Tempester stopped as hundreds of spores surrounded him, each one bigger than the last "this is."

"I'd say about one thousand spores," Cosmos smiled "probably why it took so long for me to join the fight," she smiled "when I learned what I was dealing with, I wanted to make sure you stayed dead this time," she smiled "and execution is one of my jobs" Cosmos smiled.

"you believe that this will stop me," Tempester said as he tried to move

"only one way to find out," Cosmos shouted as she shoved a hand forward "{spore bomb: Rinka regalia}" Cosmos screamed as multiple large explosions rang out Gajeel backed up as the explosions went off as Tempester shouted in pain as a mushroom cloud started to form as Cosmos backed up falling to the ground as Gajeel rushed to catch her

"you okay" Gajeel shouted

"did it, gramps," Cosmos whispered. "I saved them," Cosmos said

"you human," Tempester muttered. "my regeneration it's not working. No, I will not die here," Tempester said "no, I will take you all to hell," Tempester shouted as she raised his hand as a large wave of ice covered the area, as Gajeel and Cosmos covered themselves as Tempester started to fall apart his body vanishing in a wave of ice

"Ice," Cosmos whispered

"where did it come from," Gajeel asked "this is the same stuff that froze sun village," Gajeel whispered, "probably why he couldn't release his bane particles" he looked up to see Gray walking up to them.

"you two okay" Gray asked.

"yeah," Cosmos said, sitting up, "got his blood right here too," she said

"Alright," Gray looked around, "he can't attack us with his bane particles now that he's frozen" he looked away, "we gotta get that to Laxus and the thunder legion."

"right," Gajeel said "mind explaining what this is," Gajeel asked

"Long story," Gray said as he glanced at Juvia' she's alright' he thought as he turned to leave

"where are you going," Gajeel asked behind him. Natsu had started to come to the feeling of cold coming over him

"to slay some demons," Gray said as he began to leave

"So is this the control room," Erza asked

"umm, yes," Franmalth muttered as Kagura smiled

"about time," Happy said, "hey Erza, look."

"the former chairmen," Erza said, "how I thought he was dead," Erza said as she dropped Franmalth.

"that can't be Keyes," Franmalth said 'he's supposed to be dead, then it must be.'

"Well, well," a voice called as everyone stopped their hands wrapping around their necks.

"What is this" Erza said, "why can't I stop." she looked over to see Kyoka and Seilah standing behind them.

"Behold the true power of the Macro curse," Seilah smiled

"don't kill all of them," Kyoka said. "I want that one all to myself," she smiled as she stepped forward "you and I have a score to settle."

"Kyoka and Seilah," Minerva muttered

"Let them go," Erza screamed,

"What did you do." Kagura asked, "why is the former chairmen doing this"

"my Macro curse," Seilah said, "while I'm not as skilled as dearly departed Keyes, I get the job done."

"the chairmen is such a faithful ally that not even death will stop him from helping us complete our goals," Kyoka said

"We need to stop them," Happy said

"you tales are about to come to a tragic end," Seilah said

"I'm so disappointed in you, Minerva," Kyoka said "such potential, the things I was going to show you" she shook her head "and you, Erza, how does it feel, does this take you back to your time in the torture chamber" she smiled "I feel so bad that our time together was cut so short."

"damn you," Erza growled.

"so hostile," Kyoka said, "maybe I should turn things up a notch."

"We need to move," Lily said, "come on."

"I can't breathe," Frosh cried "Rogue" as someone landed on the ground and began to run at Seilah.

[##Mirajane - Halphas take over - destructive power ost##]

Seilah barely had time to react as Mirajane, in her Halphas form, punched her in the face "let them go," she screamed as Seilah smashed into the wall releasing everyone from her curse

"yeah, I can breathe again," Happy cheered

"Now we're back in the game," Lily said

"that even took out the old man," Lector said as Crawford's body fell to the ground.

"damn you," Seilah screamed as she went into her Etherious form as the two clashed again.

"Not this time," Mira screamed as she punched her away, sending her into a wall as she fell back, her takeover wearing off.

"Mira," Erza shouted, "you had me worried."

"I'll be fine," Mira said "taking her down took more out of me than I thought"

"Seilah," Kyoka said, "you should be proud" she smiled, "you gave everything you had to end our plan."

"But I'm out of curse power," Kyoka muttered.

"do not worry," Kyoka told her, "the chairmen have already completed the task," she smiled, "all we need to do is watch as FACE eradicates magic from this world."

"damn it," Miura said, "we still gotta stop FACE."

"let me take it from here, Mira. " Erza said as she stood up

"I will leave this to you," Seilah said "you are the only one left," she said "the last remaining demon gate," she said as she leaned back "please, Kyoka see our wish through," she said as she stopped falling to the ground

"I will stop you," Erza said

"So, you are all that stands in my way," Kyoka laughed "fine then," she said, "I will enjoy hearing you scream."

"I will stop you."

Kyoka is now the last remaining demon gate and all that stands between fairy tail and stopping the thousands of FACES from going off destroying the magic world as they know it.
