Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail re-told. Today we begin the four-part finale of the shadow of Tartaros. The war nears its close as the dragon and demon slayers team up to take the Absolute demon and underworld king Mard Geer. Will they be able to take on this powerful demon? "I am the raging seas," Jiemma shouted. "I stun the heavens; therefore, I have no master because I have no equal," Jiemma shouted. "I'll squash these bugs first," Jiemma shouted "then I'm coming for you," he screamed as Mard Geer smirked.
"you're not getting anyone," Natsu shouted as Jiemma swatted him away
"I have no business with you," Jiemma called as he turned to Sting and Rogue, blasting them away. "Sting," he screamed, "you and I have unfinished business," he yelled
"fine then," Sting muttered as he stood up, "let's finish this."
"I've waited for this moment for so long now," Jiemma growled, "for the chance to end your life," he growled as he set off several explosions as Sting jumped forward, kicking him away.
"I'm not scared of you anymore," Sting shouted. "I've grown stronger than you ever will be," Sting called.
"there's a difference between bravery and arrogance, boy," Jiemma screamed
"Yeah, which is you" Sting shouted as he attacked him
"Impressive, isn't he," Mard Geer asked, "but I need to do something about his arrogance."
"This is the end of the line," Gray said, "no lefts to protect you."
"no, you mistake me," Mard Geer said "the reason I summoned Jiemma was to reduce the clutter," he smiled, "but now I think I should take this fight more seriously," he laughed as power started to come from him.

"E.N.D is about to rise from a slumber lasting four hundred years," Mard Geer said as he took his Etherious form. "it is time I awaken as well."
"you feel that" Meredy whispered
"I taste that," Kinana whispered back
"get ready," Gray said, "he's getting serious."
"We can take him," Natsu shouted.
"behold," Mard Geer started, "I am Mard Geer Tartaros, King of the underworld and the absolute demon," he said, "prepare for this battle."
"will be your last"
Tartaros arc: The Absolute demon
Igneel and Acnologia's roars could be heard from the skies as Natsu, and Gray glared at Mard Geer behind them; Meredy and Gajeel got ready for a fight as Mard Geer smiled as he released his thorn curse on the group again as Natsu and Gray rushed forward.
"you're going to freeze," Gray shouted.
"But first, you're going to burn," Natsu shouted as they stopped his attack. Wendy jumped over them.
"{sky dragons: roar}" Wendy shouted as Mard Geer blocked the attack as he blasted her away.
"Wendy" Meredy shouted as Mard Geer appeared between her and Gajeel, slapping them with his wings as they landed on the ground.
"The time has come for me to see what lies beyond the netherworld gates," Mard Geer snarled as he grabbed Natsu and Gray, slamming them on the ground as he started to drag them along the ground. "I will enjoy tearing your souls from your body," he screamed as he grabbed them and threw them away.
"Natsu, Gray" Kinana screamed as she tried to get up.

"It hurts," Frosh cried
"so much," Minerva muttered. "I can barely move my finger."
"it would seem your allies were hit by my extra power" Kyoka smiled as she blew a small breath which was enough to get Erza to let out a scream of pain.
"Erza," Kagura muttered as she tried to move as Kyoka blew air in her direction, causing her to scream as well.
"I feel like I'm prickly all over," Happy muttered, "I think I understand what Juvia went through"
"This might just be worse," Lily said, "the smallest movement causes pain."
"I feel like I'm going to die," Frosh muttered.
"me too, bud," Lector said, "but we have to stay strong."
Kyoka smiled as she walked up to Erza, who had fallen over "get away," Kagura said as she tried to grab her leg "get away from her" Kyoka smiled as she stepped on Erza's stomach, as she let out a scream, her other foot stepping on Kagura hand breaking it as both girls let out a scream in pain.
"she took down both Erza and Kagura," Happy said "what are we going to do," Happy asked.
"now, my dear," Kyoka said, "that was a tease," she gave a sinister grin as tears streamed on Kagura's face "now be a good girl and wait your turn" she smiled as she turned to Erza "now, where were we, Erza" Kyoka smiled "oh yeas I remember" she smiled as she struck Erza arm as the girl let out a scream in pain. "let's remove the armor" she screamed as she ripped her heavens wheel apart "let get you just as vulnerable as you were then" each strike caused Erza to scream in pain as her pain increased with each attack "before I die, I'm going to make sure to remove you from this world." she laughed.
"Leave her alone," Happy shouted
"Please don't kill her," Kagura cried
"oh, I won't kill her," Kyoka said, "yet" she tried to attack again only for something to kick her in the face sending her into the rubble. Kagura looked in shock as someone stood in front of the pair.
"who" Happy muttered as Kyoka stood up, wiping the blood from her mouth "it's master Riana" Happy cheered.
"Are you alright," Riana asked, being as gentle as possible, lifting them up.
"master," Kagura whispered, "she's too much."
"Stay down," Riana whispered.
"What are you," Erza asked as Riana stood in front of them. Her eyes winded as she saw the body of the former chairmen.
"What did you do to him," Riana asked
"oh, the chairmen," Kyoka asked "nothing, dear," she told her, laughing, "in fact, he came to us." she admitted, "he told us all about FACE, all in the hopes of getting his seat back" Kyoka shook her head "what you humans will go through to receive power" she laughed "betrayed his own kind, just to get more power," Kyoka said.
"you need to take her down," Happy shouted "she's body linked to FACE," he explained, "take her down, and we can stop the countdown."
"Understood," Riana said as her magic power started to leak out
"maybe with this added power," Kyoka began to smile, "a wizard saint might be able to entertain me a little more."
"we will see," Riana said as she rushed forward "{lighting style: clapping thunder}" she shouted as she ran forward as Kyoka blocked the attack sliding back a bit as she jumped away.
"What strength" Kyoka tried to attack "what sense shall I" she was stopped when Riana appeared behind her, slamming her to the ground as she jumped away.
"I swear on this sacred blade," Riana said. "I will end this chaos by taking your head,"
"We should get moving," Lucy said. "Laki, you think you can find the medical group," Lucy asked her.
"of course," Laki said, "Be safe out there."
"Alright," Lucy said, "you too."
"so, what do you need us to do" Cana asked
"Just follow me," Lucy said "there are a couple of FACES near town," Lucy said, 'how did Mavis show me all this? I wonder what weapon she's using, and I wonder if Natsu and Mira knew about it' shaking the thoughts away from her head. 'either way, if Mavis has a way to save everyone and stop FACE, I have to believe in her cause she's never let us down.'
"you guys coming."
"yeah," Dornbolt said
"we'll help Laki with getting to the injured," Carla said, "and" she looked away. A part of her was worried about Wendy. She could only wonder what the girl was up to right now and hope she was safe "you all be safe."
"yeah," Rossello said
"right," Dornbolt noted, "we're right behind you."
"good luck, everyone," Laki said, "be safe; hopefully, I'll see you all in town once all this is over."
"count on it," Cana said, "and drink on me when we're down."
"in what pub" Wakaba said
"we drink on the ground like real men," Cana said "that's what Elfman would say"

Jiemma punched the ground as Sting and Rogue jumped away as Jiemma followed Sting, "it was you," Sting shouted, "you were the one who dragged her here," Sting said, "how could you to your own daughter" Sting called.
"that girl is no daughter of mine," Jiemma shouted "she chose weakness," Jiemma called "she's just like her mother," Jiemma said, "hard to believe something with my genes could turn out. so pathetically weak," he screamed.
"you're a disgrace," Jiemma muttered as he towered over his daughter. Around them, several monsters had been slain "you have my blood don't you" Jeimma asked "how could you be so weak" he bent down "do you know what I do with weaklings" he asked.
"you," Minerva muttered, "you kill them," she whispered, tears running down her face "that's why mom isn't here anymore."
"do not refer to that thing as your mother," Jiemma shouted as he slapped her "did you do it to defy me or are you simply stupid."
"no, father," Minerva said, only to be slapped again.
"do not call me father either," Jiemma screamed, "my kin wouldn't be so pathic," he shouted, spit coming from his mouth as he stood back up "for my dreams to come to a reality, I must purge the world of its weakness," Jiemma shouted "for us to take revenge" he screamed "phantom Lord fell because it became complacent" he called "as its last surviving member I will take us to the height that we deserve" he screamed "and I will not tolerate weakness" he shouted.
"yes, sir," Minerva muttered.
"good," Jiemma said, "the weak do not deserve anything in life," he said, "the weak do not get a home or family," he told her, "the only thing a weakling deserves is death."
"I understand," Minerva whispered.
"your nothing but a coward," Sting growled as he attacked Jiemma again, who blocked his attack, a smile forming on his face.
"How dare you," Jiemma shouted "don't forget who picked you up from the dirt," Jiemma shouted as he slammed Sting into the ground before punching him in the face. "I was the one who made you what you are. Don't you forget that boy?"
"all you did," Sting growled, "was making me someone I was not," Sting shouted as he punched him away.
"I gave you strength," Jiemma shouted as Rogue appeared from behind him, punching him in the face as he stepped on him "once I'm done with the two of you, I will return to Sabertooth," Jiemma shouted, "and return us to the heights that it deserves until the whole magic world is under my foot."
"what guild" Rogue shouted as he tried to get Jiemma off him. "I don't want your guild," he screamed. "Sting has made Sabertooth a better place than you ever could," Rogue shouted, "thanks to him, he's creating peace in the guild world," Rogue shouted, "and Fiore, no, all of Ishgar will benefit from him," he called.
"that weakling," Jiemma laughed, "there will be no peace," Jiemma shouted "only power," Jiemma cried "as my master Jose would tell me, there is no place for the weak in this world, only the strong," Jiemma called "that is what a true leader is" Jiemma slammed Rogue on the ground as he let out a scream in pain. "only the strgon are allowed to lead" he screamed "and I am the strongest"
"a real leader," Sting muttered.
Flashback
Jiemma said nothing as Sting and Rogue stood before him, their failure from today still burning in his memory as both looked to the floor in shame "so Sting, Rogue," he said, finally breaking the silence that had overcome the place since he had arrived "what should I do with you" he said, "I thought you were the peak of strength" he said, "practitioners of one of the oldest magics in known history" he practically shouted, "but now I find you silent" he said, "imagine my surprise when you both got your asses handed to you by people you said where your inferior" he said "what do you have to say for yourselves" he asked.
"You spelled it out clearly," Rogue said. "Natsu and Gajeel were stronger than either of us could have predicted," he said, "they were able to subdue us without even using the full extent of their power." he had felt it when they were fighting, especially after they went dragon force Natsu and Gajeel merely scratched the surface of their power "they are unlike anything I had ever seen before" everyone backed up as Jiemma stood up slamming his foot into the ground creating a tremor through the room as he walked over to the pair towering over them. "They may be unbeatable."
"Did I ask for you pitiful excuses" he shouted "sounds like the cries of a weakling to me," he shouted as he increased his power, forcing Sting and Rogue into the wall.
"Sting," Lector called
"Rogue," Frosh called
"Have you learned nothing" he screamed. As he continued to punch them around. Their guildmates could only watch as Jiemma delt out his punishment, this was the price of failure, and they all knew it. To reach the heavens, they would need to purge themselves of all weakness, but that didn't stop them from flinching when they saw blood flying from the two dragon slayers as Jiemma punched the pair into opposite walls " fortunately for you, I still require you" Jiemma said as he calmed down" he watched as Frosh went to Rogue "I will let you off the hook, for now, Rogue" Jiemma said as he turned to Sting "however Sting this is the second time you've failed me" he said as light shined around Lector.
"Wait, what are you doing," Sting asked. "Please stop," he cried.
"This is the price of your failure." Jiemma said, "the only reason I let a pathic weakling like this remain in my guild," Jiemma told him, "was because you had earned it," he said, "but I will not reward failure," he spat as he closed his fist and a bright light shined around Lector as the room shook from the weight of the attack as everyone stood in silent horror at what Jiemma was doing "your compassion for this cat is a shackle" he screamed "one that I will remove"
"Sting," Lector called as his body dissolved, leaving only a black spot. as Sting looked in horror.
"Stay close to me, Frosh," Rogue said, bringing his friend close to him
"Master killed him," Frosh muttered. "Master killed Lector," he said, fear laced in his voice. "why would he do that."
I gave my heart and soul to what Jiemma taught me. In the end, I divided my heart and mind, but you told me off another path, sending me on a path I couldn't reach.
"I still think about it," Sting said, getting Natsu's attention. The pair were by a lake Sting had wanted to help Natsu with something around town, his way of making up to the people of Magnolia for ignoring them for not stepping up and protecting his home "that look he had before I thought Jiemma killed him"
"So Jiemma tried to kill Lector," Natsu asked, "why."
"I lost to you," Sting admitted. "I lost to you in both battle and spirit," he let out a sigh, "and you know what, I could never beat you."
"I wouldn't say that," Natsu said, sitting down. "Jura always goes on about how the one with stronger ideology always wins," Natsu said "there is some truth to it," Natsu said, "but there is more."
"I know," Sting said, "I have to keep those I hold close to my heart, but" Stings looked away. "I couldn't," Sting said. "Yukino, I pushed her away, and Lector, how long till I did the same to him."
"But you didn't," Natsu said, "and take it from me." Natsu smiled "they would have forgiven you."
"you sound so sure," Sting asked.
"call it experience," Natsu told him "there's only one person that you ever have to prove yourself to," Natsu started, "and that's when you look in the mirror, and you see what's staring; back."
"so, heart and mind, huh" Sting smiled, "you make that sound so easy."
"It's not," Natsu said, "but like Mavis once told me," he smiled, "when the day comes that you can finally face your people" he looked into the distance, the wind blowing as he thought of his past, "you will finally be unleashed.
You knew then what you were setting in motion; you knew that I was going to do something great, but I needed to figure that out on my own; I needed to carve my own path. I needed to understand the path I was walking and why it's essential to our world of magic.
End Flashback
Sting forced himself to his feet. "I'm the leader Sabertooth deserves," Sting shouted, "and I won't let you hurt anyone there," he screamed "you're never going to take this guild back because it was never yours, to begin with," Sting shouted.
"Please," Jiemma shouted, "my guild will praise me when I return," Jiemma called, "and then we will be able to rise to the heights that we deserve."
"we will reach the heights we deserve," Sting shouted as he punched Jiemma away, "and it won't be the way you want us to," he screamed.
"you'll never take my guild," Jiemma shouted as he punched Sting away
"Sting," Rogue called as he got up "{Shadow dragon: roar}" he screamed as Jiemma was blasted away
"But first, there's one thing I have to do," Sting shouted, "my guild will never grow," Sting said, "as long as you're here," he screamed, "so to free her, I have to stop you" Sting shouted "that what it means to be a leader to be a protector."
"no, you will never beat me," Jiemma shouted
"{dragon slayer secret art}" Sting shouted
"The reason I could catch your attack," Natsu told him, "was cause your heart wasn't in it."
"I'm taking you down," Sting shouted "{holy nova}" he screamed as he punched Jiemma as. The man let out a scream. Falling down as Sting backed up, falling to the ground 'Natsu, Gray," he looked over, "it all on you."
"I know you can do it," Rogue said
Natsu and Gray grabbed Mard Geer's arms, who looked in shock as the pair unleashed their power, slamming the demon into the ground and taking over the fight.
Igneel and Acnologia crashed into the ground Acnologia let out a dragon breath attack, as Igneel swatted it away, punching Acnologia in the face as he flew up on the ground. Cosmos bent down, covering Levy "stay down," Cosmos shouted as the two dragons flew back into the sky "you okay."
"yeah," Levy said, sitting up, "thanks for the save."
"no problem," Cosmos said
"Are you two okay" a voice called. The pair turned to see Porlyusica walking up to them.
"we're fine," Cosmos said "here, this should help you with the antidote," Cosmos said
"How did you get it," Porlyusica asked
"found the bastard who did it," Cosmos smiled, "and fought him till he bled" she winked.
Flashback
[## Tempester the immortal ost##]
"you fought bravely." Tempester said, "I will make you end quick," he said as he raised his fist "swoosh," he screamed as she punched Cosmos in the stomach, making the girl let out a scream as a vine pulled him off
"you're not getting me," Cosmos grunted, "not taking me down."
"what," Tempester asked, "what were you thinking leaving yourself open."
"I needed you to get close," Cosmos said, opening an eye, "so I can do this," she said, "{knuckle plant}" she screamed as she punched Tempester in the jaw, forcing the demon to cough up blood, landing on her jacket as the demon fell back, she smiled "Gajeel," Cosmos said "catch," she said as she took off her coat leaving her in a pink shirt over her green skirt "hold that and stay behind me."
"what do you mean," Gajeel asked
"stay back, okay," Cosmos said "we got his blood," she said, "but don't think this demon is done."
"your right," Tempester said as he stood up. "I am immortal, and as long as the underworld king lives," Tempester said. "I will live forever to curse you, humans," he screamed.
"you mentioned that," Cosmos muttered as she got back to her feet,
"even though each of the nine demon gates can be revied in hell's core," Tempester said, "only I was given the title," Tempester said, "that is because my body is strongest of all." he screamed, "to kill me would be to stop my regeneration, and you do not have the strength to do that."
"that so," Cosmos asked "let's test that theory, shall we," she said as she placed her hand together, doing several hand signs as Tempester stepped back as the ground started to shake.
"what are you" Tempester stopped as hundreds of spores started to surround him, each one bigger than the last "this is"
"I'd say about one thousand spores," Cosmos smiled "probably why it took so long for me to join the fight," she smiled "when I learned what I was dealing with, I wanted to make sure you stayed dead this time," she smiled "and execution is one of my jobs" Cosmos smiled.
"you believe that this will stop me," Tempester said as he tried to move
"only one way to find out," Cosmos shouted as she shoved a hand forward "{spore bomb: Rinka regalia}" Cosmos screamed as multiple large explosions rang out Gajeel backed up as the explosions went off as Tempester shouted in pain as a mushroom cloud started to form as Cosmos backed up falling to the ground as Gajeel rushed to catch her.

"thank you," Porlyusica said as she turned back to the injured "thanks to you, I can save them all."
[## Total war of anger ost##]
Natsu and Gray jumped away as Kinana jumped over them "{Poison devils: blade}" she screamed as Mard Geer tried to block the attack as Wendy appeared next to him, kicking him in the stomach and forcing him to fly back.
"Now," Meredy shouted, "snow dragons
"Sky dragons"
"Iron dragons"
"{roar}" the trio screamed as Mard Geer blocked the attack as Kinana jumped over it.
"{Poison devils: Rage}" she screamed as Mard Geer was blown back
"My turn," Natsu shouted "{Fire dragons: roar}" he yelled as Mard Geer ducked to the side
"{Ice devils: rage}" Gray screamed as Mard Geer screamed as he blocked the attack
"{Dea Yggdrasil} Mard Geer shouted a massive spinning sphere from his hand from where an immense wooden beam shot it at the group
"get behind me," Meredy shouted as she formed snow around them 'damn, my snow is so slow right now,' Meredy muttered. "Gray, Natsu," Meredy shouted, "freeze and burn."
"right," the pair shouted as they unleashed their attack, freezing and burning the wooden beam as Gray turned to Natsu and Kinana.
"get ready," Gray shouted "{ice make: Gungnir}" she screamed as Mard Geer dodged to the side as Natsu and Kinana jumped from the ice.
"damn it, Gray," Kinana shouted, "{poison devils: rush}."
"That was cold," Natsu shouted "{fire dragons: brilliant flame}" Natsu called as the pair landed on the ground as. Mard Geer stood back up, not a scratch on him "man, what is with this guy? Is he immortal or something," Natsu asked?
"I must admit," Mard Geer said, "this fight is, however, starting to bore me" Mard Geer started as he looked at them "however, before I kill you, let me tell you about the primordial magic," Mard Geer said "the magic from which all is born however E.N.D studied this and learned how to create curses" Mard Geer explained "fueled by negative emotions envy, hate, anger,"
"do you even hear yourself" Natsu shouted "if that's the case, magic will always be stronger," Mard Geer said nothing as a dark mist started to surround the group
"What is this" Natsu shouted
"fog," Meredy asked
"no, I can't move," Gray said
"It must be his curse," Kinana said
"The era of magic is coming to an end," Mard Geer said "now begins the era of curses, the supreme power," Mard Geer said "now I will show you its power, for this curse was created to kill Zeref himself" he screamed "now feel this memory of death" Mard Geer smiled as the attack grabbed the group covering them in a dark smog as they tried to escape as Mard Geer closed his hands.

Mard Geer has unleased the ultimate curse, said to be able to kill Zeref himself. Will our heroes be able to get out this time, or is it the end of the age of magic? The battle between magic and curses is about to come to an end. Find out next time on a fairy tail re-told.
