Precht looked in shock as he shifted through the papers ', Impossible, ' he muttered, 'When did Mavis get pregnant? He looked at the crystal again, remembering Mavis's outburst after completing her new body. 'Yuri and Warrod are still searching for her.' he sighed. "But the child, "he looked at the basket. "This magic power is insane," he whispered. "But what should I do" Precht whispered. "That child of Mavis, and" he looked over the boy, "it has to be that wizard she was with," he sighed." should he live or die."

"I can't recall the identity of the unfamiliar man who left me stranded, but despite this setback, I persisted in living my life thanks to my strong magical abilities. My memory remained intact, including the memory of my parents. For many years, I wandered alone, searching for any sign of them, but my efforts proved fruitless. That is until I met you."

"a child," Zeref muttered.

"umm, hi," the boy whispered.

"and so, I started working for my father, and together we built a country and an army, but he would never know that I was his child, and when I finally discovered my mother years later, she had taken in children of her own, I was left with one question why couldn't I be loved.'

"You don't have a name," Zeref asked as the boy shook his head. "Then we should give you one," he bent down. "You remind me of a special girl I once traveled with," he said, looking over the boy. "We meet during the summer in August," he said, "you know what, that should be your name."

"August"

"This is the power of the fairy heart," Natsu and Mira shouted, "this is the power of magic purified."

"you dare," August shouted. "Your putrid purified magic will not best me," August screamed as his body glowed again. Turning completely red as he rose from the ground, black magic circles appeared next to him. "Your power will not best me," he screamed. "I am the servant of his majesty," he shouted. "This battle was lost the second he unleashed me upon you," he called. "I will graze this land you love so much to the ground and rip the fairy heart myself if I must," he screamed {Ars Magia} he called as the ground around them shattered again.

"that spell," Mavis muttered as the roots around them formed a fairy sphere "Natsu Mira," she shouted as the light faded. Natsu and Mira's bodies were gone, and the area around them had been thoroughly cleaned, leaving no trace of the Cathedral ", No," Mavis muttered.

It seems that your power needed to be more.

"guess again," Natsu and Mira shouted as they appeared behind him. "What" August called as he turned around. "How did you."

"you thought we'd leave ourselves open like that," Mira laughed.

"you must be out of your mind" Natsu smiled as they charged up their magic power.

"Natsu Mira," Gildarts shouted.

"think about this," Mavis shouted.

"no," Wendy shouted as she tried to get up.

"get back," Erza shouted.

"the price of that spell is too high," Mavis shouted. "Let me do it again; just please don't do that to yourselves," she practically begged as Natsu and Mira slammed their hands together, creating a bright light.

"{Law}"

As the attack disappeared, August furrowed his brow. The surrounding light had gone out, and Natsu and Mira had been transformed into stone. He gazed at the two, feeling satisfied with his revenge. Although he was willing to face punishment for taking down the fire dragon king, he believed that killing them would heal his heart and teach their parent the true meaning of hatred. In the end, perhaps he would understand what love truly was since they could not answer his question about why the king's son was unloved, "the reason his majesty's son was unloved," August whispered.

"was cause he never knew he had one."

"Natsu, Mira," Erza shouted.

"No," Gildarts shouted. "They didn't complete the spell," he whispered.

"Your champions have fallen," August said as he turned to face Erza. "Your wounds still linger from your fight with Irene," he huffed. "Now you will turn over the fairy heart; I wish not to keep his majesty waiting," he said as steam appeared around him. "What is this" he whispered, "as the area was covered in a thick smoke."

"you asked us why the king's son wasn't loved," Natsu's voice rang through the air, "and now I see what you're talking about."

"but the answer to your question is not what you believe," Mira said. "because love exists in all forms."

"Impossible," August whispered as he turned to the statutes of Natsu and Mira as they started to vanish. "what is this?"

"one thing Zeref didn't mention," Mira shouted, "was that Mavis is the master of Illusions."

"no, impossible," August shouted as Natsu and Mira appeared, a bright light shining behind them. "Your spell is not ready," he screamed.

"not so fast," Erza shouted as she jumped before them. "You're not getting past me," she screamed.

"so, this was your plan," August shouted as he kicked Erza away, "But it's foolish," he shouted as Gildarts shattered the ground beneath them. "What."

"Sorry, was I not supposed to do that" Gildarts shouted.

"Get out of my way," August screamed as their magic power clashed. "You forget your spell won't work on me," he shouted.

"Damn it" Gildarts shouted. "Natsu, Mira, you might want to hurry that up" Behind them, Natsu and Mira's power circled as they combined it forming something around the golden light that shined.

"Come on, guys," Wendy muttered.

"Yeah," Gray said. "We gotta buy Natsu and Mira some."

"let's go."

"get out of my way," August shouted as he shattered the ground destroying the area Laxus struck him, lighting him as he turned around. "Nothing will stop me."

"do you ever shut up" Laxus shouted {Lighting Drakon: breath}" he screamed as August blocked the attack. Sliding back, he let out breaths of air.

"{Regulus Lucy punch}" Lucy shouted as he hit August in her Leo and Virgo star dress.

"{Ice devils: Zeroth destruction fist}" Gray shouted.

"{water nebula}" Juvia shouted.

"I'm going to destroy you all," August shouted as he blasted them away and turned to Natsu and Mira. "No one to protect you now," he said as the magic around Natsu and Mira vanished. "It would seem you ran out."

"oh no," Natsu smiled.

"we're just getting started," Mira shouted as magic power exploded from the two. Their bodies were washed in golden light, like when Mavis took her grand fairy form. August stood back as they gripped their hands, red markings appearing on their hands as the prepped spell.

"what is this power" August muttered.

"Natsu," Wendy shouted. "Mira."

"We gotta buy them more time," Meredy shouted. "I have a plan," she smiled. "Trust me."

"right," Wendy said as she rushed in as Meredy sighed

"It's been a while since I've used sensory magic," she sighed, remembering why she learned this magic. A small band appeared on her arm, bringing her hand together as a magic circle formed. "Hey, August, get back," Wendy shouted as she fired an attack. August jumped away

"You are not getting anywhere near them," Cana shouted as she threw her cards

"{Urno metra}" Lucy cried as she fired another attack at August, who laughed

"You only delay the inevitable," August called. "You can not stop the children's demise," he screamed. "I will have my justice," he called as he readied another attack, only to be stopped when Laxus kicked him in the face as he slid back, anger growing

"We're running out of options for him," Laxus said

"Get back," Natsu shouted.

"We got this from here," Mira shouted as August stood back.

"that spell ain't ready yet, kid," Laxus shouted when something appeared on his arm "waht is this"

"you wanna get back" Meredy shouted. "We got one shot at this," she said. "I'll use the sensory link," she said. "I'll channel as much power as I can into Natsu and Mira."

"will that work" Juvia shouted

"only one way to find out" Meredy smiled

"then let's get going," Gray shouted as he attacked. August jumped away, noticing the power from Natsu and Mira increasing with every second.

"What power is this" August muttered. "You will not best me," he shouted as Natsu and Mira formed a small ball, the tree that had grown appeared under their feet, lifting them a bit.

"{Sky Sovereigns: Nova}" Wendy shouted

"You're not beating me," August shouted, marking appearing all over his body. As he started to use the Ars Magia again, You're spell I will be able to work when I use this. Still, it will spell your doom," he shouted as he fired at it, as roots once again around him, taking the spell as August continued to build his power."

"not enough," Meredy muttered, "nowhere near enough."

"We gotta stay strong." Natysdu groaned out

"Zera is channeling everything she has into that spell," Mavis muttered as she struggled to her feet. "Please, even if just a fraction," Mavis begged. "Please, I beg of you, grant me the strength of light and darkness just once more time" Her hand went to her chest, feeling a faint heartbeat "Fairy heart," she shouted as symbols appeared on Meredy's shoulder.

"Mavis," Meredy whispered

"you kids aren't getting all the fun," Mavis said

"no," August shouted as he punched Erza away as Wendy attempted to attack him again. "You will not best me," he screamed as Gildarts shattered the ground again, sliding back. August stood up

"Everyone back up," Mavis shouted. "Mira, Natsu, "if you two one to hit him with your spell, the time is now," she screamed as pink energy surrounded them.

"I can't hold so many links for so long," Meredy said, "or I'll get sensory overload, so hit him with everything you got," she screamed as gold light appeared over the sky, taking the shape of the Tenrou tree as everyone looked in shock.k

"what" August shouted. "This magic is neither light nor dark," he whispered. "No magic can pull that off," he screamed as he tried to attack, but their magic power continued to grow. "It's the girl," he shouted. "If I take you out, they can't handle this power," he called as he targeted his magic at her, only for more roots to appear "waht is this"

"This is the power of Tenrou. This is the power we have when we stand together," Natsu and Mira shouted. "And this will be your end," they screamed.

"come on, Natsu," Erza, Happy, Lucy, Gray, Gajeel, and Juvia shouted

"You got this, Mira," Cana, Gildarts, Laxus, Wendy, and Carla shouted

"Gather O'river of light guided by Fairies," Natsu and Mira shouted. "Grant us the light that seals the darkness and grant us the darkness that brightness the light," they screamed, "Guide us so we may create balance once and for all."

"no, never, " August shouted. "you will not best me," he screamed

"Shine! So, we may perish the fangs of evil once and for all," Natsu and Mira shouted as they pointed their arms at him as August stepped back.

"no" August shouted. "I'm not going to make it."

"we invoke the final magic," Natsu and Mira shouted, "{Tenrous law}."

"ah, cute, they named it. Oh shit," Cana shouted as the bright light shined over them, blasting August into the ground. The ground shattered as he let out a scream. "What's with you people and these cute-sounding names" she screamed as the light vanished. As Natsu and Mira's arms were injured and charred, August said nothing fell to the ground.

"they did it."

"They beat the wizard king."

"Did they have to draw that one out" Cana laughed.

"Gotta have fun somehow, kiddo," Gildarts laughed.

Natsu and Mira remained silent, observing August as his body began disintegrating. Suddenly, Natsu addressed August with a startling question, "Would you like to know the true reason why the king's son was never loved?" He continued, "It's far more heartbreaking than you could imagine."

"for the king's son knew of the curse," Mira said. "The curse of contradiction," she finished, "for that curse killed all whom the king held close to his heart."

"so, the son decided that he would never tell his father who he was," Natsu said, "for if he knew who he was, the king's son would die" he turned Mira slowly followed as they started to walk away from August "the real reason the king's son wasn't loved."

"Is because he was afraid that if he gained his father's love," both said in unison, "he would only cause him further heartbreak," they said as they walked away. "But what the king's son failed to realize is that even though the king was cursed."

"he gained his father's love."

Zeref looked away, feeling August's magic power vanish; not a speck of it left. A tear came to his face as he wiped at it. "So, August has fallen," he said as he felt tears on his face. "It would appear I need to keep my emotions in check."

"Natsu Mira," Mavis and Elfman shouted as they ran to the two. As they fell into Mavis's arms

"We got him, Ma," Natsu said.

"We're still the champs," Mira finished as Mavis laughed.

"what am I going to do with you, too" Mavis laughed as she kissed both of their foreheads.

"That was pretty manly," Elfman laughed as Mavsi eyed August, a sense of family rushing over her as the boy looked to the ground, his body falling apart due to t effects of the final fairy glitter. It was clear what Natsu and Mira Did, but that didn't stop her sense of remorse.

"There's still Zeref," Mira whispered as she leaned back. "We're almost out of this," she smiled. "Master, are you okay."

Mavis nodded, looking in the distance before she sighed as she looked back at her kids. "Wait here," she said. "Let me get something. One more thing to do," she said as she ran off. as she left, Natsu stood back to his feet as Wendy tackled him in a hug.

"you asshole, why do you keep doing this to us" she shouted.

"Sorry, kid," Natsu smiled.

"Hello, Natsu' Zeref's voice called. "I see you've taken out the last of my elite spriggan twelve; good job, but if you don't wish for me to kill everyone here, you should come and face me at your pub; it's time we end this, little brother," Natsu said nothing as he started to walk away.

"Natsu wait" Wendy shouted as a giant ice wall appeared before them.

"Gray," Natsu asked.

"go do what you have to do," Gray whispered. "You heard him. You're the only one that can stop that monster," he said. "Just tell me this," he asked, tears on his face. "You and me," Gray stopped looking at the ground, ashamed as he thought about what he had tried to do. "We're friends, right."

"After everything we've been through," Natsu smiled, "No, we're not friends," he said as he placed a hand on her shoulder, looking at him. "We're brothers," he said as he walked away, going to face his destiny.

"Gray let us out of here now," Mira shouted as she forced herself up. "Gray" she screamed.

In the fairy pub, Zeref looked around. 'All my followers defeated,' he smiled as he turned to face Natsu. "It's about time, my sweet little brother," he smiled. "Though I wonder how you plan to beat me without the power of Igneel."

"I'll do it," Natsu smiled. "No matter what happens," Natsu growled. "no matter how this goes," he growled as he started at Zeref, who smiled at Natsu as he stood up, taking off his elegant robes. "no matter how this ends."

"This ends today."

"Gray, let them go," Meredy growled.

"Guy's stop fighting," Rossello shouted.

"Natsu is going to die if you keep us here," Erza shouted. "Gray, open, let us out of this damn cage," she screamed at him.

"You don't think I know that," Gray shouted. "But what else can we do" he shouted. "we're out of time."

"We stick to the plan Anna gave us," Mavis called as she returned. "if we had done that from the start, we might not be in this position we are in now. Of course, Zeref knows this and is working against it," she looked away, thinking about Natsu. "That boy never listens," she sighed.

"Mavis," Anna called as Carla followed her.

"I found her," Carla smiled.

"thank you, Carla," Mavis said. "I figured you'd want this," she said as she held out the book of E.N.D. "It's our one shot at saving Natsu."

"you got the book," Anna smiled as she grabbed it from her "There's still time," she smiled.

"I already figured out the first part of it," Mavis told her. "You just need to undo the spell."

"what do you mean," Anna asked.

"Anna, I need you to trust me," Mavis said. "For my strategy to work, you have to save Natsu."

"I," Anna froze, nodding. "Okay."

"our time together must be short," Zeref said. "I fear Acnologia will come due to all the power you and Mavis Daughter have been throwing around," he laughed. "I doubt you would want to keep the dragon king waiting."

"you got that right," Natsu shouted as he punched Zeref. He jumped back, landing on the ground.

"your power certainly has grown strong; your time as E.N.D seems to have not affected your brute strength," Zeref shouted as he punched Natsu away.

"is this all you got" Natsu shouted as he hit Zeref.

"Oh, dear little brother," Zeref laughed. "Can't you see that we've reached the end?"

"I'm not stopping," Natsu shouted. "You're going down" he screamed.

"then come on," Zeref laughed as he and Natsu continued their fight. He jumped over him, "I must admit I'm enjoying myself," he laughed. "This curse of contradiction, I can never tell what it's going to make me feel," he laughed out loud. "Isn't that great? For humanity's future, you need to," he stopped as Natsu slumped over. "Natsu"

"Father," Larcade called. "I made it." he smiled. "I," Zeref said nothing as he blasted a hole through his chest.

"How dare you, Larcade," Zeref shouted. "I don't remember asking for your help."

"But father," Larcade muttered as blood came from his mouth.

"I'm not your father," Zeref told him. "You are just a prototype, an early version of Natsu," he said. "You came out better than the others, so I let you carry the Dragneel name," he laughed as he snapped his fingers, "but since we're here now, your existence is no longer needed," he said as Larcade's book fell to the ground.

"That was your son," Natsu shouted.

"I don't have any children, dear little brother," Zeref laughed. "Maybe if I had one," he said, "a family to call my own, I would not be on this path."

"Alvarez was your chance at that," Natsu told him, "and you wasted it."

"you truly have been trained by Mavis," Zeref laughed. "You, her, Anna, telling me to move on," he looked at his hand. "No words can tell the pain I feel," he said. "The world keeps rejecting me, so I must reject it; I have no family," he said, "but this pain will all be over soon."

"your wrong," Natsu shouted, "you're just too self-absorbed to realize it."

"tell me," Zeref laughed. "Why did I know you would say that."

"All right, come on, we can," Anna froze, "No," she whispered, "No, this isn't fair," she said.

"what's wrong," Lucy said.

"Acnologia," Meredy said, realizing how still the air was going. "I can feel it."

"damn it," Anna screamed. She looked back at Lucy. "We're out of time," she said, sighing as she looked at Lucy. "Lucy, I need you to finish the spell Mavis started," she said.

"But what am I going to do" Lucy shouted.

"once you open the book, you need to find the link Natsu has with it and sever it once you do," she said.

"My magic should take it from there," Mavis told her. "I'm going to help Natsu."

"but I," Lucy stopped when Anna placed a hand on her shoulder

"Lucy, you can do this," Anna smiled. "You just have to ask Granpa Crux."

"Granpa Crux," Lucy asked. "Okay, I'll try."

"all right," Anna said, "I'll go stall Acnologia."

"Sensei, wait," Gajeel shouted. "I'll go with you."

"me too," Meredy said.

"wait for me," Wendy said.

"you stay here and rest," Anna said, "fortunately, I planned for this outcome." she smiled. "I have a way to buy you four enough time to recover from the fights with Zeref and his spriggan

"be safe, please," Wendy asked.

"Don't worry, child," Anna said. "I'll be fine."

"We don't have much time," Mavis said. "For this plan to work, we need to act fast," Mavis said.

"master," Mira called. "Be safe; bring him home."

"I will, Mira," Mavis smiled. "Don't worry, kids, just rest up and leave the rest to me." she turned away as Anna left with Meredy and Gajeel.

'Mother, I wish you could have held me one time.'

"what was that" Mavis muttered 'this presence feels like August but familiar" She looked back to where August's body was gone entirely, sighing before running off 'I need focus. Your son needs you."

"I tried, you know," Zeref smiled, "but this curse took everything from me; it made the world reject me," he said. "I was not allowed to have a home or family," he said.

"Family isn't something. You have," Natsu shouted. "It's something you create," he screamed as he punched Zeref away. "Home is where your heart is," he shouted. "you just didn't try it."

"your anger is interesting," Zeref sneered. "Are you sure this is you talking Natsu or E.N.D?"

"That won't work on me anymore," Natsu shouted. "I know who I am," Natsu shouted.

"but the question is, do you." Zeref laughed. "Cause I can tell you who I am," he bragged as he punched Natsu away again. "I'm the black wizard Zeref." Zeref smiled. "And you're going to die." they clashed again, sending shockwaves across the area.

Anna led her team to the top of a hill, looking over the area as they stopped. "Okay, so where is he," Anna asked.

"no idea," Meredy said. "You'd think in a clear sky we'd see" Meredy was stopped when A large explosion broke out behind her.

"umm, Meredy," Rossello muttered.

"Gajeel, get ready," Lily shouted Acnologia stood up in his human form.

"who's that," everyone asked.

"Hello, Dragonborn," Acnologia growled.

"you never said he could do that," Meredy shouted.

"I didn't know that," Anna muttered, "but Irene could pull it off."

"oh, so you met our mother," Acnologia sniffed. "The woman can hide her scent well," he said. "That or she's dead," he laughed.

"you bastard," Meredy growled.

"the other two of you are not here," Acnologia smiled. "Then we shall start with a light warm-up," Acnologia screamed as he created an attack as Meredy blocked it with her snow."

"damn," Meredy shouted. "we gotta lead him away."

"face me, Dragonborn," Acnologia shouted as he turned to his dragon form. "And die," he screamed, "The dragon legacy must end."

"what's the plan here" Meredy shouted as the Blue Pegasus crashed into the black dragon sending him flying away.

"Meredy," Sorano shouted,

"you guys look like you need some help," Kinana laughed.

"Perfect," Anna smiled. "Come on, we have a plan," she said. "Get on, kids."

"Hey, wait for us," Rossello and Lily shouted as Acnologia watched them fly away.

"You can't hide from me, Dragonborn," Acnologia shouted as he started to give chase.

"Well, we got his attention," Erik said. "What the hell was step two."

"head due north," Anna said. "It's the only way" She looked at Meredy and Gajeel, who nodded at her. "the dragon slayers are too injured to face him now," she said. "so we need to buy them some time." she sighed, "and it gives us a chance to finish cleaning up our mess."

"mess," Meredy asked. Anna nodded

"from the eclipse gate."

Natsu and Mira emerged victorious over the wizard king August, defeating the Spriggan twelve. However, their celebration is cut short as Acnologia suddenly reappears. Natsu sets off to confront Zeref, while Anna leads Gajeel and Meredy to face the black dragon. Lucy's task is to separate Natsu from the book of E.N.D. The final battle is fast approaching as our heroes prepare to take on the black wizard and the black dragon. Will they finally be able to put an end to these threats?
