"I don't buy it. "Beverly said "if Lester Fox has always been with her, why didn't he intervene when we dealt with Ann here?"
"He spied on Ernest Cole, who was the dangerous one for Ann. And on Flynn too. He underestimated you, mainly because you sounded skeptical when Cole talked to you. And you moved too fast for him."
"Yeah, maybe… So how did Heather get you out? And why doesn't the show mention it?
"It will do it, later on, but of course, garbled, and saying that it Baron Orczy who did it."
"You watch it ahead?"
"I have too much free time late at night, and no one to talk to. Everybody sleeps when I am awake. So, I read, or I watch videos."
"In the show you always find someone to talk to."
"Because showing someone sitting all alone at night, reading, does not make exciting television. Same, as they are always talking to the back of people, instead of doing face to face, because they want to show the expressions of both actors in the same shot. It looks real ridiculous, talking to someone's back, and the other answering to the air, instead of turning around like a normal person. But that's not my main complaint. They just make me into a murderous idiot."
"That's Orczy's revenge on you."
"No doubt about it."
"But you have not told us how Heather released you."

Heather walked, trying to remember the way to town, and with a vague idea of how to release Amos. But she was not alone. She saw a figure floating in front of her and stopped.
"Do not fear." Genevieve de Brissac said "I come to help you release Amos. I will show you the way"

"It is criminal how the writers all forgot that Genevieve was haunting the Benchleys all this time. She was there when Vicky came, she had to been there back then. But they forgot all about it. You know what they did?" Amos growled "they introduced some new character and said that she was Genevieve's reincarnation. No, Genevieve could not reincarnate while she was haunting the Benchleys. Maybe now that she is released, she might come back. But then she was there, trying to protect the Benchleys, and failing more often than not. But his time she would not fail."

Heather let Genevieve guide her to the cottage where Evan Terrence (aka Maurice Crandall) lived. She knocked at the door.
"And what do you want with me, you gypsy thief?" Evan asked mockingly.
"To sell you gypsy treasure. The hand of Baron Orczy."
"The hand of Baron Orczy? You claim to have it?
"I do, and I will sell it to you."
"Let me see it." He looked at it as Heather held it. "Yes, I see it." His hand shot out quicky and grabbed it. "It is mine, now, gypsy"
Heather stepped back, as Evan lifted the hand. "Yes, I think this is it."
The hand moved. It shook and it was free of Evan's grip. It floated up in the air in front of him. Evan looked at it astonished
Then the hand struck out, grabbing Evan's face and squeezed it making Evan cry and try to fight it off.
Then Evan collapsed, and the hand released him, letting Heather see the damage done to Evan's face.
"The hand of Baron Orczy can only be held by a gypsy, fool!" Heather said to the stunned Evan.
Genevieve led her to where Evan kept his books and tools. Genevieve pointed to a bell and a small mallet. Heather struck the bell.
And the crystal around Amos shattered.
