CORE! And Chara were just sitting there, as CORE! explained the multiverse.
"Your universe is hardly the only universe," CORE! said, "Are you aware of the multiverse?"
"Uh…kinda," Chara said, "I thought that was just some fanfictioney sci-fi, bullcrap, meant to lure in the geeks who find that stuff interesting."
"Some people do that," CORE! said, "But I assure you, it is real. Every timeline, choice someone makes, every alteration, exists in an endless sea of choices and is full of different variants of the same people."
"It's like drawing a piece of paper," CORE! continued, "You can make multiple drawings, each with their own flair, their own talent, their own uniqueness, even if based on an original design. At least, that's how Ink views it."
"Who's Ink," Chara asked.
"Ink is the protector of what he calls, AU's," CORE! said, "Or Alternate Universes. He protects them from threats like Error, who wishes to destroy them."
"Ink sounds nice," Chara replied.
"Trust me, their relationship is a bit more complicated," CORE! said.
"As the universes have been healed after a big event, everything seemed to go back to normal," CORE! said, "But something is happening in your universe that is causing other people from other universes to be dragged here, particularly humans that look like you and Frisk, and the ones that are close to them, or not."
"What do you mean, or not," Chara asked.
"Some timelines, your…"sister" isn't exactly the nicest person," CORE! explained, "That doesn't mean your one is, but in certain… genocide timelines, she can cause problems."
"What are those timelines…" Chara asked.
CORE! was about to explain, but then, they heard a voice.
"Hey, you, freeze!"
They turned around to see Undyne, armed with about ten soldiers, surrounding them.
"You, are you helping them," Undyne asked Chara.
"Uhhh, maybe," Chara said nervously, before thinking to herself, 'Seriously, maybe?!"
"Then you must've helped that kid escaped," Undyne said, "Doesn't matter, according to authorities, she's safe with us. Now I'm going to have to take you in for questioning."
"You…did…WHAT," Chara yelled, as a bit of wind blew from that.
CORE! suddenly noticed something. Her eyes started to give off an impression of glowing. Her hands were lit on fire again, hinting she's about to use her powers. But there was something different about it. Almost…wrathful.
"Uhh, Chara," CORE! said, only to be immediately cut off by Chara throwing fireballs left and right to the officers.
They attempted to block her, but the shields they brought to defend against such an onslaught was simply not enough to block them. The fire burned them, as their HP (Health Points) dropped to 0.1.
Everyone was shocked by this ferocious approach of power. Chara didn't even seem to care. Anyone who looks into her eyes here only sees anger.
"Chara," CORE! said, as Chara collapsed.
"KID," Undyne said, as she ran towards her, kneeling to her aid.
"Is she…" Undyne asked.
"She's alive," CORE! replied.
Undyne had no idea what to think. She saw her take down almost all of her men.
'What kind of power is this,' Undyne thought, before remembering the tales of the human who stopped the war.
It was stated that the human had power unlike any to be seen. A power to either heal rifts, or destroy everything in the world. They had no competition, they had no power over them, they were so powerful that if they had a goal in mind, they would try and complete it. A Power so strong, with a SOUL so tough, that it killed them. Although humans have slowly adapted to have their own powers though SOUL! traits, none were quite as powerful as them.
Until now.
"What is the SOUL trait of this kid," Undyne asked.
Before CORE! could answer, a knife flew down to them. A knife that then blew up in their face.
"That's enough there Undyne."
They looked back and saw a human, with a green hoodie, and red eyes. They looked like Chara, but a bit older, likely in her teens. She then seemed to materialise three knives, floating in midair.
"And you are," Undyne asked.
"The names Chara," Chara replied, "Though, to make sure I don't get confused with her, you can call me SS! Chara. And this kid is coming with us."
"Fat chance, punk," Undyne said, as she summoned a spear in thin air.
"Heh, I wonder if she is as strong as Toriel," SS! Chara wondered, as the two went into combat.
It was mostly melee attacks that, with Undyne and SS! Chara attacking, parrying each other attacks, but eventually, SS! Chara launched a knife at Undyne to suspend her.
"That should hold her," SS! Chara said, "Let's go."
CORE! nodded and teleported the three out of there. Meanwhile, Undyne managed to finally pull herself out.
"Miss Undyne, are you okay," one of the guards asked.
Undyne grunted, obviously not being okay, but just said, "Yeah, I'm fine."
She then thought about something in her mind.
"Show me all records about the Human and Monster War," Undyne replied, "And don't tell this to the king… I have a feeling this kid is more powerful than anyone here."
Author's Note: Finally got this chapter out. More and more AU's are being put in the forefront, and honestly, this is still just the beginning. Hopefully, I can get more chapters up and running, but with me starting an entire saga, I highly doubt it. Still, I'm still trying my best, and I was feeling tired of writing the Danny Phantom fanfic, so maybe this will help. I'll still work on this for a time, but only time can tell if I quit this.
