Gwen pov
"Cannonball!" me and Jen cheer as we jump into the lake. We surface and laugh, "4 and a half each." we stopped and looked at our Grandma. "Only 4 and a half, what, you think you can do better?" Jen asked. Grandma smirked and snapped her fingers, her clothes turned into a swimsuit. She ran down the dock and jumped, flipping before landing perfectly into the water.
"Okay, you can do better," I said once she surfaced. "Perfect 10," Grandma said and flew out of the water. "You two don't stay up too late," she said and headed back inside. I turned back to face Jen, but she was gone. "Huh, Jen?" I looked for bubbles in the water but couldn't find any.
"Je- Ahh!!" something wrapped around my ankle and dragged me under. I kicked and struggled, dialing into the Omnitrix. I transformed into Four arms, but something wrapped around me tight. I grit my teeth, trying to break free. I wasn't having any luck and then a big blue eye appeared in front of me. My eyes widened in shock.
One of Jen's mana blasts shot past my head and into the giant creature's eye. I was released and pulled back, and out of the water. I and Jen coughed and gasped for air. "Wh-What was that?" I asked. Jen shook her head and collapsed onto the ground.

"And it had a huge blue eye," I said as we walked to the boat docks. "It nearly drowned us " Jen added. Our Grandpa didn't seem to believe us, which seemed hard to believe itself.
"I know what you two are thinking, and I do believe you. I just want to have a nice day fishing." He said. Grandma chuckled, "I'll stay on monster watch girls'." she said and left to find a spot to relax. "Don't go drawing too much attention, Beautiful," Grandpa said and pointed a finger gun at Grandma.
"Cute, but gross," Jen said and ran off. I glanced from her to Grandma and Grandpa, "Wait for me!" I called and ran after her. We raced down the dock to the boat Grandpa had chartered for the day.
"Girls, wait up." Grandpa and Rook strolled over. "Captain Shaw?" Grandpa asked, turning to the man on the boat. The man stopped what he was doing and looked over his shoulder, "Who's asking?" he asked. "I'm Max Tennyson, I chartered your boat for the day," Grandpa said and Shaw just seemed annoyed. "Well, what are you waiting for, a grand invention?" he asked.
"Well, isn't he just the happiest and most welcoming," Jen said sarcastically. I smirked, "I bet he makes friends with all his guests." I joked and we snickered. Grandpa cleared his throat and we chuckled nervously. He was giving us that look, we both got on the boat and sat down. Rook sat on the other side of Jen and we all began talking in whispers as the boat drove.

Jen pov
I had my legs stretched out and my head leaned back. Gwen was lying on her back with her head in my lap, and Rook was leaning against me, his head resting against my shoulder. I'll assume Grandpa got suck of the silence and decided to try and strike up a conversation with Shaw. "So, anything interesting to catch?" he asked. "More than you think," Shaw said and kept driving. "How about the lake monster?" I asked.
"Now, Jen-" Shaw cut Grandpa off, "It's called the Kraken," he said. I smirked, "It nearly drowned me and my cousin last night." I said, petting Gwen's head. Shaw hummed, "You two are lucky to be alive." he said then suddenly stopped the boat. "What is this?" Shaw asked, I looked and saw yellow tape blocking off part of the lake. I closed my eyes and sensed something bad approaching, "Attention fishing boat!" bingo!
I opened my eyes and saw a boat with the letters F. O. F on it. I flicked both Gwen and Rook in the nose, waking them from their nap. "What is it, Jen?" Rook asked, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. I nodded toward the boat and they both perked up.
"I am Jonah, founder of the Friends Of Fish organization. This area has been blocked off for study, turn your boat around and go back the way you came." one of the men said. I narrowed my eyes, "Say we don't?" I asked, standing up and crossing my arms. Jonah narrowed his eyes back, "I'm sure the authorities would have a few things to say." he said and smirked at me. I jumped and landed on the railing of his boat, getting nose-to-nose with him. "Ah!?" Jonah fell back onto his butt. "Hmph!" I smirked and jumped back onto Shaw's boat.
We began heading back, Jonah and his men following us. "Your girl is something else," Shaw said and I returned to my seat. "Yeah she is," Grandpa said. I stretched out into my position from before and began tapping my foot. I glanced over and saw Gwen tracing the Omnitrix button, then to Rook who was reaching for his blaster under his hoodie.
Something suddenly swam under the boat and a beeping came from the cab. "The Kraken " Shaw said and a giant monster rose from the water. It had one eye blacked out, likely from my attack last night, and a harpoon in its side. The Kraken roared and headed for the docks. "Dial up!" Gwen shouted and dove into the water. I stood up and headed for the F. O. F boat.
Gwen pov
I shot out of the water as Blur, my Kinceleran form. I raced across the water as a black and blue blur. The Kraken destroyed the dock sending people flying into the water. "Gotta hurry Gotta hurry! Gotta hurry!" I repeated to myself as I gathered people out of the water and brought them back to shore.
I heard a scream and looked to see a little girl swimming from the Kraken. I raced towards her, but she was pulled from the water before I could reach her. I looked up and saw Grandma in her Anodite form, "Go help your cousin." she ordered and pointed to the F. O. F boat. "On it." I rushed to assist Jen, but I doubt she needed it.
I jumped into the boat and Jen was kicking the F. O. F guys' butts. The Kraken roared again and rose from the water, grabbing a crate from the boat. "No!" Jonah screamed and tried to get away from Jen, but she kicked him square in the chest and knocked him back.
"Time to split," I said and Jen jumped onto my back. I raced across the water back to Shaw's boat. I timed out before reaching it and I and Jen skipped across the water like stones.

I watched people pack up and drive away as fast as the speed limit would let them. "This isn't good," Jen said, coming to stand beside me. I nodded and we turned, heading back inside.
"Everyone is leaving?" Rook asked, peeking out the window. "They're scared," Jen said. "But of the wrong thing," Grandma said, emerging from the back. "The F. O. F guys," Jen said, her stare hardening. Rook raised a brow, "How can you be so sure?" he asked. "Perks of being an Anodite, we can sense people's aura," Jen said, smiling proudly.
"So, what's the plan captain?" Grandpa asked, coming into the RV with a stack of pizza boxes. "First, we eat. Second, I will petrol while you guys sleep so you can be rested and ready for a fight." Jen said. We all nodded in agreement.

I flew around the lake, waiting for something to happen. "Huh?" I stopped when I saw a boat on the water. I flew down and landed, "It's a little late for fishing, don't ya think?" Shaw jumped and dropped the harpoon gun he was holding. I snatched the gun with my mana. "You really are something else," Shaw said.
"Thanks, now what are you doing?" I asked. Shaw narrowed his eyes, "I don't see how that's any of your business." he said, I glared back, my eyes glowing. Shaw gulped, "I'm going after the Kraken." he said. "Hm." I took the harpoon from Shaw's gun, "You'll sit here and keep watch." I said then dove into the water.
I wrapped my hands around my throat, "Reforma changia manipulating" I said, ensuring to breathe out so no water got in my mouth. My body glowed and changed, turning me into an Atlantian-like creature. I was way better looking the Karl with a K.
I sensed a protective, loving aura, a mother's aura. I threw Shaw's harpoon down to the bottom of the lake and followed the aura. It led me to a broken crate with two eggs inside, I glared, my blood beginning to boil. I contacted Grandma with my telepathy and told her what I found.
I began drawing a symbol around the eggs. As I drew I felt a wave of bubbles on my back. I looked over my shoulder and was staring into the Kraken's one good eye. The Kraken roared and I swam away from the eggs, but I didn't leave. The Kraken wrapped its tentacles around its eggs and glared at me.
There was an explosion from above. I looked up and saw Shaw's boat aflame and sinking while a boat sped away. My eyes widened and I swam after the boat, my water form making me much faster. I swam and jumped up out of the water, landing on the boat. "I knew you guys were trouble," I growled.
Jonah and his men turned, glaring at me. They all smirked, "Well, you will go for a decent price." Jonah said. "Don't even think about it." I looked up and saw Grandma and Gwen. Gwen was in her, Lepidopterran form, Stinkbug. "Get them!" Jonah ordered and his men charged. Gwen shot her stinkbug goop at one of the men, Grandma grabbed Shaw, and I dove into the water. One of the men dove into the water but I sent him flying back up and onto the shore.
I jumped up and Gwen grabbed me, tossing me onto her back. I threw a mana blast, putting a hole in their boat. "See ya," Gwen said and flew off. I changed back and jumped off Gwen's back onto the dock. "Well, that was easy," Gwen said, timing out. I shook my head, "I don't think it's over yet." I said, followed by the Kraken's roar. "Yeah, it's not over yet," I said.
"Look." Gwen pointed to the boat house. A crane pulled a tech suit from the water, and Jonah was inside. "Grandma, go get Granpa and Rook, call the police, and then get back here," I ordered. She nodded and set Shaw down before flying off. I turned to Gwen, she smirked and we both transformed. She transformed into her Piscciss Volann form, Aquarius, and I changed back into my Atlantian form. We dove into the water and swam to the boat house.
Gwen pov
Men and Jen jumped up, breaking through the deck of the boat house. "You freaks are everywhere," Jonah said, seeming annoyed by us. I growled, "Those eggs don't belong to you." I said. Jonah and his men laughed, "Yeah, what are you gonna do about it?" he asked, looking smug. I charged forward, biting into the front of Jonah's suit, and throwing him into the water. Jen charged and put her martial arts to use against the other men.
"Get the eggs!" Jen ordered. I nodded bed before I could the Ktaken to ss up and grabbed them. "No!" Jonah climbed back onto the deck and climbed into the tech suit and went after the Kraken. "Gwen go!" Jen ordered, I nodded and jumped in the water, going after Jonah. I swam down and saw Jonah already had the eggs again. I growled and charged, biting into the arm of his suit, breaking it. I grabbed the eggs and put them in my mouth and swam again.
The Kraken roared and hit me in the side, knocking the eggs from my mouth. Jonah swam in and grabbed the eggs, heading for the surface. I saw a chain lying on the lake bottom and grabbed it, I threw it, wrapping it around the tech suit's ankle. I yanked the chain pulling Jonah down, making him release the eggs. I grabbed the eggs again and brought them down to the Kraken.
A piece of metal floated down past me, I looked up and saw Jen had ripped the tech suit apart. She brought Jonah down and handed him to me. I was confused until she gestured to the Kraken's injuries, I nodded and knocked Jonah out, and took him to the surface.

"Well, that was an ordeal," Jen said, stretching her arms and popping her back. "I agree," I said, patting the side of my head and knocking water from it. "You girls did good though," Grandpa said, opening the RV door for us. "And just think, tomorrow we can relax and hang out at Squid World." he continued. Jen tensed, "Squid?" she asked, goosebumps rising on her skin. 'oh boy.' I thought and lay down.
