How are all of you doing today?

Here's the New Years chapter I'd previously mentioned. And almost everyone listed within the preceding chapter and this holiday series overall are in attendance. The only ones not present though are the "Star Wars" heroes. I hope you'll enjoy.

Setting: New York City-Earth Prime

Location: Times Square

A week following their assistance in rescuing Christmas, the multiversal heroes and soldiers, the latter consisting of the N.E.S.T. Team and the G.I. Joes, were gathered together once more. This time to usher in the New Year. And this time it wasn't just the couples amongst them but also their families, loved ones, and allies. The Autobots included and said beings towering over them.

Instead of celebrating it at the Hall Of Justice like with their other previous holiday gatherings, they'd elected to go big and celebrate at Times Square. Oliver and Turner, the latter the 19 year old leader of the Gotham Knights, being billionaires handled the booking of that entire square for the evening.

Many of them were wearing New Years party hats and they were standing together and staring upwards as they eagerly awaited the ball's drop.

"Man this is so awesome!" Duela, Turner's 20 year old girlfriend and fellow Knight, exclaimed excitedly. Her body pumping with energy.

"She isn't wrong you guys," Lena agreed while her beloved Kara nodded.

"Another year past and here we are once more on the threshold of another one," Drew Crew member Ace thoughtfully voiced while Nancy leaned against his chest. The latter enfolded within his arms.

"This is awesome being in Times Square. Never thought I'd be here until I was grown up but thank you guys for taking me here with my friends and the other heroes," young JSA member Yakeem stated with a large smile then thanked his parents to which they nodded. Smiling at their son.

Killian then noticed that the ball was finally beginning its decent and turning his head to glance at the watch currently being worn by his wife Emma, their magical town's sheriff, saw that it was 11:59 p.m.

Cassie also noticed it on her own watch and pointed it out to her father and Hope. Which they nodded to her with eager smiles of their own. Scott on his part playfully ruffling his daughter's head.

"Alright everybody let's all begin the countdown shall we?" Althea Shen, Nicky's sister, energetically called out to her friends and family once the time reached 10 seconds before midnight. To which they all cheered in agreement then began.

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!" they shouted together, including Optimus Prime in his booming voice, once the clock finally struck midnight while the ball concluded its drop. Immediately followed by heavy amounts of colorful confetti and multicolored balloons raining down upon them.

The entire crowd was cheering and dancing together while the couples among them, both the monogamous and the throuples, also exchanged kisses. Including the teenaged couples. Some kisses chaste and others a bit more amorous.

Some of the parents smiled at their children as the latter exchanged kisses with their own partners. Smiling at the beauty of young love. Though they averted their eyes during some of the passionate kisses. Since there were some things parents would rather not see thank you very much.

"Let's hope this new year will be even better than the preceding one," Reed Richards stated while holding his wife Sue and kissing the side of her forehead.

"Right on," Amanda LaRusoo agreed followed by a hearty "Bonzai" from Chozen and an "Absolutely" from Clint.

The other heroes and everyone else shared their sentiments. Continuing to celebrate while looking forward to what the rest of the year would bring.

Regarding the bonus chapter, I've decided to make the Valentines Day portion a part of this story as well. And for the same reasons as to why this fic is both a Christmas and New Years fic instead of being separate. As for the time of its posting, it will be available when it's ready.
