It's been a few months since the pack learned to master this brand new form. Since that first time, they have not stopped training to manage to take it in a few seconds, without pain. Of course, managing to take it in a very visual, almost theatrical way is also one of their challenges. It also allows to show all the changes that take place, or the way in which their bodies are deformed to adopt the features of this enormous bipedal wolf.
Children are hypnotized by it and try to reproduce it. They try to imitate their parents, but all they manage to do is take on their wolf form, becoming cute little cubs. Of course, it's very frustrating for them, because they would like to do like the grown-ups. They know they will get there one day, but they are still impatient.
All major pack issues were dealt with fairly quickly. CeCe Drake is in a high security prison, from which she will not be able to escape this time. Her sentence doubled, which makes sense for the escape she made, the kidnapping of six children, and the repeated threats whenever she had the chance. She therefore took a life sentence. She will end her days in prison.
The arguments between Rachel and Quinn have, finally, ceased. They tolerate each other, but they don't like each other. They just decided to stop fighting for anything and everything, because they noticed that they bother everyone. Finn's yelling at Quinn also played a big part in resolving this conflict. Quinn understood very well that Finn was fed up, that he wasn't going to choose her, and that her advances had no effect on him. Later, he even reminded her of the principle of impregnation, so that she would finally stop his advances. It was very embarrassing for him and for all the people who saw her doing it.
Rachel, on the other hand, didn't quite understand the reasons behind the cessation of their arguments. She liked it, because it allowed her to train in combat. She's evolved a lot thanks to that, so she doesn't appreciate it stopping at all. As usual, she was yelled at Finn, blaming him for meddling in what was none of his business. Luckily for her, Finn only shrugged, arguing that he wanted their fights to stop for the sake of the whole pack. Rachel finally nodded, realizing that Finn was right.
Speaking of Rachel and Finn, they are soon to welcome their first child. After months, even years, of attempts, they will finally have a little cub to enlarge their family. They called in a gynecologist to monitor Rachel's pregnancy, and to find out the sex of the baby before delivery. Turns out it's a little boy they decided to name Aiden. Logically, he should be an Omega, like his parents, but he could very well be a Beta, although that is extremely rare. However, he cannot be an Alpha, as neither of his parents are Alphas.
Finn and Rachel aren't the only ones welcoming a child. Indeed, Kurt and Blaine will have a second child, a little girl named Lydia. Emily is still the surrogate mother, not really having any desire to have children at the moment. She just prefers to help others get it. This gives her time to think about whether she wants it or not. It is not uncommon for werewolves to have no desire to have children, whether they are imprinted by their partner or not.
Kurt and Blaine's upcoming child should be an Omega, since their first child is already an Alpha and there can't be three in this pack. However, it may very well be a Beta. If he is Beta, he will receive a more specific education, to teach him the pitfalls to avoid and how cruel certain Alphas can be in their search for Beta.
Indeed, some Alphas, in search of their Beta, do not bother to wait to have their impregnation. They take the first Beta that comes along, not caring what he wants, and traumatize him very often. Also, they do not hesitate to establish very specific search criteria, thus refusing those who do not correspond to them. That's why it's quite complicated to raise a Beta in a pack, especially if they share this kind of mentality.
However, Kurt and Aria's pack doesn't have that kind of mentality. No matter the status of the children, they will raise them the same way. Of course, those who must know more things than others will have an education accordingly, but there are no distinctions between the different statuses. They learn to respect each other, because it is the very principle of their pack. A Beta child is therefore welcome.
Cohabitation with humans, living in the town of Rosewood, is going pretty well. They're still not too used to seeing them, especially those who knew them as humans, but there's no animosity. Of course, some humans are very reluctant to live so close to the territory of a werewolf pack. Some even asked them to move. Needless to say, this request resulted in a more than negative response.
Cohabitation between humans and werewolves has never been easy in small communities where everyone knows each other. For things to go well, the pack must get to know the inhabitants of the city and they must be receptive. At first, very few were, but over time they came to accept their presence. The only place where it still poses a problem is in kindergarten. Many wealthy people have put their children in this school, and they take a very dim view of the presence of werewolf children in the same establishment as theirs.
When this problem arose on the first day of school, the school principal tried to fix things. It didn't go as planned, as the pack noticed that he was in favor of those wealthy people. These same people petitioned to kick them out of school and even out of the state. Very few people signed it, finding that it is useless and that the pack brings a lot to the community. However, their children did not stay in this school, and receive lessons at home. This is what is most convenient for them, especially to avoid the harassment they may experience.
Either way, humans cannot drive the pack out of their territory. It's illegal, so they'll end up in jail if they try to do it. They are therefore forced to live with them, even if they don't like it. Luckily for the pack, the vast majority of residents of Rosewood are in favor of living near them. Those who don't want that are embittered old people, filled with prejudices and who don't want to evolve.
The pack is therefore completely settled, nothing can disturb them anymore and no one can force them to leave. This is where they will live their lives, raise their children, expand the pack with new inclusions. And yes, the pack is still growing, as many people see the positive in their species. They are much more resistant than a simple human being. They never get sick, heal almost instantly, they can have an extremely varied diet thanks to their stomachs, which can digest almost anything. They are also very fast, agile. They can climb wherever they want, and they barely take 30 minutes to run downtown in their wolf form. These are just advantages that are not insignificant.
So, now that everyone knows them, knows what they are capable of and who they really are, they will be able to live peacefully. No more hunters, no more madmen addicted to threatening messages, no more danger. They will finally be able to live in peace, like a solid pack. They are, finally, quiet, but always ready to help their neighbor.
