The following day, a loud knock echoed through the front door of a cluttered and disorganized house. "Hello, is anyone there? Did you hear that intense lightning last night?" Rei's voice boomed as he impatiently waited for an answer. He pushed the door open and greeted his newfound acquaintance, taking a moment to survey the mess around them. The village was on edge after the thunderous lightning the day before, and everyone was left uneasy.

In the middle of the night, a deafening sound of lightning struck the ground, and the mournful cry of a Pokemon shook the entire village. The noise was so intense that it kept everyone on edge and prevented them from sleeping.

Rei's voice interrupted the silence, waking Destiny, who had already woken up in the middle of the night and was struggling to fall back asleep after the previous night's thunderstorm. "Hey, if you're up, come on out," he exclaimed as he walked back out.

Destiny was jarred awake by a young boy yelling outside her front door. As she slowly emerged from her grogginess, she remembered that today was when she had to prove herself to join Team Galaxy. Though unsure of what exactly she was getting herself into, she felt a sense of responsibility to take action.

As she left bed, she saw herself in the mirror and noticed a small scar across her eyebrow. She couldn't recall ever seeing it before, and the sight of it made her uneasy. She wondered how she got it and why she couldn't remember anything from before she arrived in Hisui. Despite her confusion, Destiny tried to shake off the feeling, focused on preparing for the day ahead, and walked out of the hut-likeouse.

Despite feeling tired, Destiny forced herself to get ready and left her little Hut to meet with Rei. As she stepped outside, Rei greeted her with a warm smile.

"I hope you managed to get some rest, it's not easy to sleep in a strange new land," Rei remarked.

"I slept alright, thank you. How's your morning been so far?" Destiny asked.

"It's going pretty well, but we shouldn't keep Captain Cyllene waiting. Let's make our way to the headquarters," Rei replied, taking the lead.

Destiny followed him to the headquarters, conveniently located next to her new Hut. As they walked, she couldn't help but feel self-conscious, aware of the villagers watching her curiously. Despite this, she kept her head high and continued towards the headquarters, feeling nervous and excited.

Rei swung open the colossal door to Galaxy Hall, gesturing for Destiny to step inside. Beaming proud, he led her through the entrance hall, showcasing the ornate décor and towering columns lining the walls.

Destiny's gaze wandered, marveling at the intricate details of the grand space before her. The high ceilings were adorned with chandeliers that shimmered like stars in the night sky, casting a warm glow across the room. The marble floors shone like glass, adding to the hall's grandeur.

"It's quite lovely," Destiny said, her voice filled with admiration and awe as she took in the magnificence of Galaxy Hall.

Rei and Destiny were in a room when they heard someone shout from a neighboring room, "Don't give up; keep those eyes open." Another voice shouted, "The wild Pokemon were everywhere, attacking from all sides. I sent out my partner Pokemon, but against a whole pack, we were outnumbered."

Suddenly, the voice from the first room spoke up, "This is what happens when you go so far afield, but the medical corps will put you to rights." They continued to talk generally until they were no longer audible. Destiny looked worried, and Rei asked her if she realized she could die out there if she failed her trial and got expelled from the village.

Destiny nodded before getting up, and Rei pointed out that she might die even sooner if she had to take on the trial without a Pokemon partner.

" how do I get a partner Pokemon?" Destiny asked

"Don't worry about it," he said reassuringly as he gently took her hand and guided her toward the door before them. With a swift motion, he opened the door and gestured for her to enter the room ahead.

As they stepped inside, they faced the Captain, who was engrossed in some paperwork on her desk. Rei spoke up, raising his voice slightly to get her attention.

"Captain Cyllene, ma'am, I have brought Destiny," he announced, enunciating each word clearly. The Captain looked up from her work, acknowledging the pair with a nod.

The Captain allowed them to enter her office and greeted them calmly. She approached them and stood up from her desk, looking at them seriously. "Let's get straight to it," she said. "If you wish to join the Galaxy Expedition team, you must prove yourself capable by catching three species of Pokémon in the obsidian fieldlands: Bidoof, Starly, and Shinx."

Rei seemed shocked by this. "But three species right away? None of us have ever managed that," he exclaimed, making Destiny even more nervous. She wondered how she would be able to catch three different species of Pokémon when nobody else had.

The Captain, however, seemed unfazed by Rei's comment. "Didn't this stranger catch three different Pokémon only yesterday?" she asked, glancing at him before returning to Destiny. "My trial should be simple enough for her if the Professor wasn't exaggerating things. The Galaxy team cannot provide for those who only take without giving. If you wish to stay, you must prove beyond any doubt that you'll be an asset to our cause."

She walked closer to Destiny and continued, "I will lend you one of our survey corps satchels to carry whatever you may need in the field. You'll need to discard that bag you're carrying and take only what you need. Remember that the obsidian fieldlands are dangerous, so be careful." She handed Destiny the satchel and gestured towards the door. "Good luck."

With that, she handed Destiny a satchel, helped her tie it around her waist securely, and took away the bag that Destiny had around her waist. Destiny didn't feel comfortable with it, especially since it was so tight, but she didn't complain. She didn't want to look ungrateful for something they would give her for free.

"I'm sorry, but whatever you're wearing does not go well with our satchels," Rei said bluntly.

The Captain interrupted to give Rei a task, "Rei, I expect you to step in if anything goes wrong," he said, handing Rei a scroll. Rei nodded before the Captain could continue. However, before the Captain could speak, the Professor entered the room from the adjacent entrance.

"Excuse me, Destiny. Come with me for a moment," the Professor said as he hurriedly led the two young teenagers out of the room.

"You're dismissed," the Captain said, noticing the Professor's urgency.

"Yes, ma'am," Rei and Destiny replied as they followed the Professor out of the room. Once they reached the front lobby, the Professor greeted them happily with a pat on the back.

The sun had just begun to rise, casting a warm golden glow over the land. "Good morning, everyone," the Professor said jolly.

Destiny was taken aback by the Professor's sudden appearance, but she couldn't help but feel happy to see him. "What can I help you with, Professor?" she asked, her curiosity piqued.

The Professor's eyes sparkled as he replied, "In order to complete our Pokedex and survive in this unforgiving land, Destiny absolutely must pass this trial. And as a Pokemon professor, I have just the ticket to help accomplish that."

As he spoke, three little creatures materialized out of thin air. Each had a unique appearance and shouted their name with pride like they did before.

The Professor had a gentle smile on his face as he stood before three little creatures, each one gazing up at Destiny with hopeful eyes. The Pokemon seemed to be waiting for her to make a choice. "Go on, Destiny," the Professor said reassuringly. "Pick the Pokemon that you like." She could see that they were adorable and friendly. The Professor continued, "With a partner of your own, you'll be able to defend yourself against any wild Pokemon outside of the village. These little darlings are very dear to me, but it's plain to see that they're rather curious about you, especially this one here," the Professor said, pointing to the little Pokemon named Oshawott, who was staring at Destiny. She took a closer look at each of the creatures and thought carefully about which one would be her perfect companion."So, my girl, which Pokemon would you like to keep as your own?" the Professor asked, eager to help Destiny make her choice.

Destiny stood still momentarily, taking in the sight of the Pokemon before her. They looked up at her with hopeful eyes, each one anticipating her choice. She looked at them, and they all seemed happy to see her. But among the group, one Pokemon stood out the most to her: Oshawott.

Despite being held back by the Professor, Oshawott took a step or two forward as if it wanted to approach her. Destiny noticed how it stood out from the others. While the other Pokemon had small smiles or looked happy, Oshawott seemed to be in deep thought. It looked up at her with a slight frown as if pondering something.

Destiny couldn't help but lock eyes with the brown-eyed Oshawott. She could sense the Pokemon's curiosity and its desire to examine her. Slowly but surely, she approached Oshawott with caution. As she got closer, she watched as the Pokemon's eyes tracked her every move. Oshawott didn't resist as she examined it closely, taking note of its sleek body and slightly curved tail.

"Would you like Oshawott to be your first partner?" the Professor asked Destiny.

"Yes, I choose Oshawott," Destiny replied as the creature approached her. Destiny remained quiet and watched as the Oshawott called out its name and gazed at her. Suddenly, it pounded on her leg and hugged her tightly.

"Well, it seems he's rather fond of you then. And with that, one of the Pokemon you caught at Prelude Beach for me will now be yours to keep. Good show. I've tucked Oshawott back inside. It's a Pokemon for you, so take it. It's yours," the Professor said as he handed Destiny a Pokeball. Destiny couldn't help but smile at the Pokeball before putting it away.

"A word of advice, my girl, pay close attention to which Pokéballs are empty and which ones contain a Pokemon when you're out in the field," the Professor warned before allowing her to leave.

Destiny stood before the Professor, discussing her next move. Meanwhile, the other Pokemon who weren't chosen to accompany her cried out joy, their faces filled with excitement. They were thrilled to see their pal, Oshawott, selected for the adventure. "Look at those two," someone exclaimed. They pointed at a pair of Pokemon who seemed to be cheering Oshawott on, their tails wagging excitedly.

Rei, standing nearby, added, " maybe they wanted to help Destiny with her trial." Her words made sense, as the Pokemon knew Destiny's upcoming trial would be challenging. They were eager to lend a helping hand, whether directly or indirectly.

"Ah, that could be it... They did go dashing from the village when Destiny fell out of the sky after all," the Professor pointed out, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "But let's not worry about that for now. You two, come with me and assist me with my research," he said, turning to the two Pokémon waiting patiently. The Pokémon cheered and nodded before running to the Professor and standing behind him, eager to help with his work.

As the Professor continued his work, he asked Destiny about her mission. "By what species has Captain Cyllene charged you with catching?" he inquired.

"She told me I had to catch a Bidoof, Starly, and Shinx," Destiny replied softly.

"Ah, I see. Well, those three species are commonly found in the Obsidian Fieldlands," the Professor said, nodding. "Let me give you some Poké Balls to use during your trial, then," he added, reaching for a container filled with Poké Balls. He handed her 20 Poké Balls and smiled. "These Poké Balls may be handcrafted, but they work a treat, as you've already seen. You'll have this trial cleared in no time, I know it."

"Thank you, Professor. I appreciate your motivation," Destiny said, grateful for the Professor's help and encouragement. With the Poké Balls in hand, she was ready to set off on her mission and catch the three species Captain Cyllene assigned to her.

"Alright, let's be off then. We're heading to the Obsidian Fieldlands for your next trial. Follow me, and I'll show you the way. When you leave the headquarters, meet me by the gate on your left. Is that understood?" Rei said as he walked out.

Destiny nodded, feeling a sense of excitement and nervousness building up inside her. She was determined to pass the trial and become a skilled trainer like Rei.

As they made their way out of the headquarters, the Professor, who had been busy in his lab, joined them. " I will take my leave to finish in my lab, then I'll be off as well," he said with a chuckle, followed by his two happy Pokemon waving at Destiny.

Destiny was alone in the lobby, taking a deep breath to calm her nerves. She couldn't help but look around and take in the surroundings. Feeling overwhelmed, Destiny reminded herself of her goal and walked out confidently. She knew she had much to learn and adjust to, especially with her new partner Pokemon. But she was ready to face the trials ahead and prove herself worthy.

Destiny carefully made her way outside, keeping an eye out to avoid bumping into anyone. She had arranged to meet Rei at the main gate and wanted the trial to arrive on time. As she approached the gate, she saw Rei talking to another young man with blonde hair and a blue uniform. Trying not to interrupt their conversation, Destiny slowly approached them. The young man turned to look at her and greeted her with a friendly smile. "Oh, what a curious get-up you have there. I can already tell you're quite the character," he said, referring to her unique clothing style.

Destiny smiled back and apologized for interrupting their conversation. She was relieved to see Rei's friend was friendly and welcoming.

"I'm Volo of the Ginkgo Guild, the go-to choice for any of your mercantile needs here in Hisui," the man spoke softly and gave her a warm smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you, young lady."

"The pleasure is mine, sir," Destiny smiled.

"I've heard you talk about your story. You fell from the sky, didn't you? Now, that's certainly a tale I'd like to hear," said Volo with a smile. "Oh, and you have a Pokémon. You're certainly full of interesting surprises," he said to Shockley. "Investigating the odd and novel is key to any good merchant's success. So, what do you think, how about you and I see how our Pokémon stand up to one another in a battle?" Volo offered.

"What? I've never tried... I've never battled before... I don't think I..." Destiny started to speak but was hesitant to accept the Battle.

" go ahead he isn't much of a battle or himself either but it's mostly just for fun so why don't you guys try it," Rei said with a smile as he backed up.

" but I've never battled before... I just got Oshawott and..."

Volo looked at Destiny with a warm smile, reassuring her that everything would be alright. "There's no need to worry," he said in a calming voice. "I'll do everything I can to ensure no one is seriously hurt."

Destiny was hesitant at first, but she slowly nodded after a moment of thought. Volo's sincerity had won her over.

"Ah, I like you better and better," Volo chirped. "What a delightful find you are." As they continued talking, Volo brought up the upcoming trial Destiny was preparing for. "Let's have a quick battle to get your blood pumping before you head out," he suggested. "But be warned, you'll lose if your Pokemon's HP reaches zero." Destiny accepted Volo's challenge with a nod, ready to prove her worth.

An experienced Pokemon trainer, Rei stood on the sidelines watching Destiny and Volo prepare for their Battle. Rei offered some advice to Destiny on how to release her Pokemon: " All you have to do is back up a little and then release your Pokemon by throwing it out." Destiny quickly followed the instructions and released her Pokemon, Oshawott, who stood protectively before her. Volo also released his Pokemon, a small, tiny egg creature named Togepi, which didn't look too intimidating.

Rei offered further advice, "I'm pretty sure your Pokemon only knows the move tackle, so try that." Destiny commanded Oshawott to use the tackle move without hesitation. Oshawott immediately jumped into action, attacking Togepi. However, Togepi couldn't back down from a fight and fought back with its tackle move, attacking Oshawott immediately after. Destiny hesitated for just one second and then shot another command to Oshawott to use the tackle move again.

Destiny and her Oshawott were in a Pokémon battle against Volo and his Togepi. "Use tackle again," she shouted to Oshawott, as they had used it successfully before. Oshawott followed her command, tackling with confidence and hitting Togepi hard. Encouraged by the success, she ordered Oshawott to perform a final tackle. Oshawott obeyed and charged towards Togepi, hitting it with a powerful kit. The Battle was over, and Volo shook his head in defeat.

"Move items... Use them well, and the world will open up to you," Volo said kindly. He was referring to the importance of using valuable items in Battle, such as healing potions and stat-increasing items, to gain an advantage over one's opponent.

"It's always fun to have your Pokémon battle, don't you think?" Volo asked Destiny. "As they gain experience through their battles, they will learn more moves and grow even stronger." Destiny nodded eagerly, excited to learn more about Pokémon battles and how to train her Oshawott to become stronger.

"But so few people here have their own Pokémon... If only more knew how to use Pokéballs..." Volo trailed off, lamenting that not enough people in their community knew how to catch and train their Pokémon.

"Anyway, let me help our two battlers recover from their little exercise," Volo said as he approached Destiny and Oshawott. He pulled out some healing potions and used them to heal Oshawott's injuries while giving Destiny tips for better training her Pokémon.

Oshawott greeted the man with a cheerful chirp and took the herb that he had offered. A friendly and helpful person, Volo smiled warmly and reached down to pat Oshawott's head. Destiny expressed her gratitude to Volo, stating that he didn't know what he would have done without his help.

Volo replied, "Don't worry about it. Helping others is what friends do." Destiny couldn't help but feel touched by Volo's kind words and actions. Aside from the Professor, he and Rei were the only people who had shown her kindness.

"By the way," Volo continued, "I have some potions for you, my Sky Fallen Friend." He handed Destiny five small bottles, each containing a potion. "These potions will come in handy when your Pokémon are tired after a battle. I hope you will be successful in your trial. The more members you have in the Galaxy team, the more customers we get." Destiny was moved by Volo's generosity and care. She thanked him and promised to put the potions to good use. Watching Volo walk away, she realized she had made a new friend.

Rei praised her for her impressive battling skills. "Wow, if you can battle that well, I've got a feeling you may have your child well in hand, even if it's more to do with catching them battling," he said. She was grateful for the compliment but was still trying to figure out what had happened. Battling had almost become second nature to her, and she was still trying to understand how she had developed such proficiency. Despite her confusion, she was determined to keep honing her skills and become an even better battler.

Rei's smile beamed as he said, "Either way, that was good luck right there. But now to the obsidian field, come on." He took the lead and guided Destiny to the main gate, where a guard named Ress stood. It was customary in Jubilife Village that every time a villager left, they had to pick a destination from their map and inform the guardsman. This was done to ensure the safety of the villagers. Rei explained this to Destiny: "That way, in case something goes wrong, someone can go and collect you and your things."

Destiny replied, "Thank you, sir," softly.

"It's my job," Ress spoke sternly, his gaze fixed ahead. However, his eyes had a kind look as he glanced at her. Rei smiled at the guard and added, "Hey, I hope you make it through this," as they approached the gate.

Ress then spoke, "Your name is Destiny, correct? I was informed that you'd be passing through and your trial will take place outside the safety of the village. Please take care and come back alive."

With that, Ress allowed Destiny to pass through the gate and embark on her journey.

Rei and Destiny had been walking for nearly an hour, but the time had passed quickly as they chatted about their lives and shared stories. The sun was setting, and the sky was tinged with shades of orange and pink, but the two friends were not in a hurry. They were close to their destination; as they walked, they noticed the sounds of the forest around them - the rustle of leaves underfoot, the distant call of a couple of birds, and the gentle hum of bug pokemon. Despite the growing darkness, they were close to the camp they had to go to for Destiny's trial to start.

"Either way, everyone is very nice in the village. They just need to get to know you first. But I'm sure you'll fit in as soon as you join the survey corps."

"I hope so... I did notice many people glaring at me," Destiny pointed out.

"I'm sure it's nothing," Rei reassured me. "Anyways, this is our base camp. It's where we start and finish all of our surveys. I remember what you've got to do. You've been tasked with catching three species of Pokemon: Bidoof, Starly, and Shinx." Rei smiled as he brought me to the fire. "I'm also very curious to see if the Professor's stories about you were actually true... Oh, is something wrong Professor?" Rei suddenly exclaimed.

Destiny turned around and saw the Professor following them. He appeared to be rather serious, and she wondered what he wanted. "Is everything alright, Professor?" she asked, concerned.

The Professor let out a deep sigh before responding. "Well, you see, Captain Cyllene got a hold of me after you left. She impressed upon me that I bear full responsibility for whatever happens to our sudden guest," he explained, shaking his head.

Destiny nodded, understanding what he meant."I appreciate your concern, Professor," she said, smiling at him.

Rei, who had been quiet up until now, spoke up. "How exactly are you supposed to help her out here, Professor? You have no experience," he pointed out, curious.

The Professor chuckled. "To be honest, my dear boy, I didn't intend to lift a finger. Destiny's talents are the real deal. She'll pass with flying colors. You see, I'm just here to observe," he replied, smiling at Destiny.

Destiny felt a sense of relief wash over her. She was glad that the Professor was there to support her, even if it was just through observation. She was determined to make the Captain proud and prove that she could handle anything that came her way.

Rei chuckled as he spoke, "So, in other words, I am the one who is ultimately responsible for what happens next, not my ideal state of affairs."

Destiny couldn't help but giggle at Rei's remark. "I have no doubt that you'll enjoy yourself, regardless," she replied softly.

Rei then spoke with determination, "Let's get started. I am confident you will be more than capable of fulfilling your Task Destiny."

Destiny and Rei headed towards Aspiration Hill, where they could find the Pokemon Destiny needed. They walked up the hill and reached a spot that overlooked the vast grass fields below. Destiny was amazed by the sight of the lush green area and couldn't resist gazing at the trees far back in the fieldlands and the river that ran through the middle.

As she was lost in thought, a Pokemon suddenly emerged from the grass, catching her attention. It was a Bidoof, the Pokemon Rei said they were looking for. Rei was excited to see it and shouted, "Look, a Bidoof! We're finding the Pokemon you need already. Can you imagine that?" The little brown Pokemon spotted them and ran off.

Rei then decided to teach Destiny how to catch a Pokemon in case she was less skilled than the Professor thought. He showed her how to aim and throw a Pokeball, although it seemed like Destiny already knew how. He reminded her that Bidoof was a mellow Pokemon and wouldn't run away if they approached it carefully. He suggested she throw the Pokeball with precision and confidence, and she should be able to catch it.

Overall, Destiny and Rei were on the right track to finding the Pokemon they needed, and with Rei's guidance, Destiny was ready to catch it successfully.

Feeling more confident, Destiny said, "Don't worry, I think I got the hang of it!" She crouched down to the ground and studied the Pokemon intently. Once she felt like she was close enough, she aimed and threw the Pokeball at the Pokemon.

Rei was thrilled when the Pokeball landed and captured the Bidoof. He shouted happily, "One Bidoof caught, now we march!" Rei led the way down the path, with Destiny following closely behind. They stumbled upon a Starly, a bird-like Pokemon, as they continued their journey.

Rei quietly pointed out the Pokemon to Destiny, and then he gave her some advice. "Starly is a quick and nimble Pokemon that has a tendency to run away if it senses danger. To catch it, you need to move quietly and crouch down in the grass to avoid being detected. Starly has excellent hearing, so be sure to move cautiously and try not to make any noise. If you do this, you'll be able to get close enough to catch it."

Destiny carefully made her way forward, crouching low in the grass and avoiding making noise. She could see the Pokemon in the distance and waited patiently for it to get closer, not wanting to scare it away. When it was close enough, she quickly aimed and threw her Pokeball at the Pokemon's back, capturing it successfully in one go.

"Excellent work," Rei exclaimed as he ran up to her. "That's another Starly caught. You're doing great so far!"

Before moving on to the next challenge, Rei took a moment to teach Destiny how to get things down from trees. He explained that trees often had berries or even Pokemon, but the most important thing to look for was the berries that could heal her and her Pokemon partner. To get them, he suggested that she throw her Pokemon at the tree, causing it to shake and the fruit to fall off.

Rei pointed to a nearby tree and encouraged Destiny to try it out. She took a deep breath, aimed her Pokeball at the tree, and threw it with all her might. Her Pokemon hit the tree with a powerful force, shaking it vigorously and causing several berries to fall off. Destiny quickly picked them up and was amazed at how easy it was.

"Great job! You're a natural," Rei said with a smile. "Now, let's move on to your next challenge," he said as Destiny gave Oshawott a head pat and a snack.

As they continued walking, Rei pointed out to Destiny a little cat-like Pokémon standing at the end of the path before they reached a bridge. "That's Shinx," he said. "Did you know that Shinx has an aggressive disposition? It can be tricky to catch if you're not careful."

Destiny looked at the Pokémon and felt a bit intimidated. "What should I do?" she asked Rei.

"Don't worry. Just focus on the Pokémon around you. You'll figure it out quickly enough," he replied. "But keep in mind that once aggressive Pokémon get wound up, they'll knock away any Pokéballs you throw at them. So, you need to be careful when trying to catch them."

Rei continued, "But not to worry, I'll teach you the trick to catching them. First, you have to draw them into Battle. You need to weaken them by battling with your own Pokémon. Once it's caught up in the heat of the Battle, you can throw a Pokéball to try and catch it. And remember, you already have a couple of Pokémon of your own to use now. Just take one of their Pokéballs and throw it at the wild Pokémon you want to battle, just like the Battle that you had with Volo."

Destiny appeared to have finally understood what was being discussed. "Okay, I think I get it," she said with relief.

Rei, who had been explaining the plan, looked at her with a smile. "Alright, it looks like it's your time to shine. It seems to have spotted us," he said as he stepped back.

Destiny's heart pounded in her chest as she realized the gravity of the situation. She knew that this was the moment she had been preparing for. Despite her anxiety, she stood up straight and tried to appear confident.

Rei, on the other hand, seemed to be experiencing a sense of fear as he looked her over before taking a few steps back. His behavior confused her, but she didn't let it affect her focus. She was determined to do her best.

Destiny was determined as she faced the incoming Shinx. She said, "Alright, I got this," and threw Oshawott towards the approaching Pokemon. Without any hesitation, Shinx jumped into a tackle and hit Oshawott directly. However, Oshawott didn't get angry as it released a water spur at the cat-like Pokemon. Destiny noticed that the Shinx was weakening, so she used Aqua Jet and commanded Oshawott to attack. Oshawott responded quickly and attacked the Shinx, almost knocking it out.

Watching from a distance, Rei pointed out to Destiny, "Try not to knock out the Pokemon. If you do, we'll have to go and look for another one, and it's better if we don't since it's starting to get dark."

Destiny realized the importance of Rei's advice and apologized, "All right, I'm sorry."

The Shinx looked ready to faint as it attacked Oshawott but missed entirely. Destiny quickly took a Pokeball and threw it at the Shinx, instantly catching it. She breathed a sigh of relief and smiled, feeling proud of herself and Oshawott.

Rei was ecstatic as he watched Destiny catch all three species of Pokemon. He couldn't believe what he saw and ran to congratulate her. "Wait, you really did it? You caught all three species of Pokemon!" he exclaimed, his face glowing with admiration. "You're some kind of prodigy. The Professor would have been in awe when you caught his three Pokemon, especially after falling from the sky. And then you caught all of his escape Pokemon in a row. I thought it was just a story until I saw you in action. I'm so proud of you," he said, beaming joyfully as he hugged Destiny.

Destiny was modest about her achievement, saying, "It's really nothing. It wasn't even that hard."

Rei disagreed, putting his arm around her and making her blush. "I can assure you I couldn't have done it myself," he said. "You caught three Pokemon already, while I can hardly catch one. You must be a natural. Come on, let's go meet the Professor and show him what you've accomplished."

Destiny and her companion ran up the hill toward the base camp, where the Professor awaited them. "Alright, I'll follow after you," Destiny said to her companion.

As they reached the camp, the Professor greeted them warmly, "Oh, I said you'd pass the trial with flying colors, and it seems you went and did just that. Congratulations, Destiny! You've taken your first step towards seeking out every Pokémon."

The Professor then took out a camera from his back pouch and held it up. "This calls for a commemorative photograph," he said as he snapped a picture of Destiny. She smiled at him, feeling proud of her accomplishment.

The Professor continued, "I am utterly proud of you, my dear girl. You've shown great potential and determination." Destiny's heart swelled with pride at the Professor's words.

"Thank you, Professor. I honestly could have never done it without you believing in me, especially now," Destiny pointed out as she looked down at the three Pokémon she had just caught. Us, her first Pokémon, stood beside her with a proud expression. The other three Pokémon gazed at them before looking up at Destiny with hopeful eyes as if eager to form a bond with her.

Rei admired her skills and hugged her tightly, "I have to admit, it's true - you've got a real talent for this." She blushed and smiled, feeling proud of herself for impressing him.

The Professor interrupted their moment, reminding them of their mission, "Now, we must report to Captain Cyllene. Come on, it's time to head back to Jubilife Village." The teenagers nodded in agreement and quickly returned to the village, running as fast as they could. As they ran, they discussed the exciting adventure they had just experienced and eagerly anticipated the next one.
