Land of Fire, Konoha, Top of the Hokage's Tower
Naruto was sitting on a stool while a man was behind a camera.
"You ready for this kid," The man asked Naruto.
"Yes," Naruto said as he sat still.
"And are you sure you want to wear that," He asked as he looked at Naruto's clothes.
And the reason was that he was not in his usual orange clothes to black boots with metal over the toes, black anbu pants, a black shirt with an orange haori, with a black flame pattern around the hem, over his right shoulder he had a black leather pauldron, Naruto's chest is covered by two straps, that connected to the pauldron, held in place by a badge representing Fenrir.
Over his automail arm was a black gothic glove with a metal serpentine dragon wrapped around it, with the head of the dragon coming up to his wrist.
On his right side was his Zanpakutō, while a book was chained to his left side. (This will be Naruto's default clothes for the story)
He was using his Hitai-ate as a belt, and on his forehead were goggles with some steampunk influence with multiple lenses.
"Yes," Naruto said with a cheeky smile.
"...," The man looked at Naruto before sighing, "Fine then," He said before taking the pitcher.
Five Minutes Later, Hokage Tower, Mission Office
Naruto was sitting in a room with Hiruzen and a woman with black hair and blue eyes, dressed in the standard Konoha Jōnin attire.
Hiruzen was looking over the information before looking at Naruto, "Let's see the name: Naruto Namikaze Uzumaki or for the shorthand Naruto Uzumaki," He thought as he looked at the name on the paper.
"So when he passes, he will be called Genin Uzumaki, then Chūnin Uzumaki and then finally Jōnin," His thought then moved on to the next thing.
"Age of Registration: 12, Registration Number: 012607," Hiruzen said before looking at the photo, before looking at Naruto and then back to the photo.
"So what do you think," Naruto asked as he started fiddling with the metal dragon on his arm.
"First, what is with the goggles," He asked the whiskered boy.
"The extra lenses are used to help me find magical objects and discern what magic is on the object," Naruto said as he pointed to the flip lenses, "While the flip down is something that can be used to zoom things in and can help he with making runes or other artefacts or something," Naruto continued.
"Ok then, so he can use that to help bring strength to the walls of Konoha with a new type of barrier," Hiruzen noted it down while his eyes moved to the metal dragon, "The dragon," He asked as he pointed at the dragon that was on Naruto's right arm.
"This is an artefact that I made," Naruto said as he gained a small smile.
"What can it do," Hiruzen asked him.
"It can breathe fire, and it is linked with the goggles so that I can see what it see's," The young Uzumaki told his leader.
"Is there any way you would make them for some Jōnin," Hiruzen asked the mage.
"I could, but I would need materials and time," Naruto told the elderly leader.
Hiruzen nodded as he before he continued, "Now before we continue with your registration, we must tell you about your powers as a Jinchūriki."
"Got it," Naruto said as he got ready.
"First is you have a code to get thou to me when you think something is wrong within Konoha," Hiruzen told Naruto as his eyes sharpened, "It is Code 999," Hiruzen said as Naruto nodded.
"Now, if you need another Jinchūriki within our walls, you have another code that is 9991," Hiruzen told him.
Naruto once more before his ears picked something up, and he moved a hand on his Zanpakutō.
"What is it," Hiruzen asked Naruto as he saw the Jinchūriki was tensing and getting ready to draw his sword.
Naruto took a sniff at the air and could a whiff of someone outside of the room at the door, "Someone is listening in on the conversation," Naruto said as he slowly drew his sword.
A Jōnin next to Hiruzen got up as well as she readied a kunai; Naruto drew his sword while he walked by the door and was ready to open it Hiruzen's eyes hardened as he looked at the door.
"Open it," He called out as the Jōnin jumped in front of Hiruzen while Naruto opened the door to find a boy that was found four ft.
The boy had short spiky brown hair with blue eyes; he wore a grey helmet with a hole at the top for his hair to stick out.
His clothing consists of grey shorts and a yellow shirt with a red Konoha symbol.
Naruto looked down at the small boy before he called over his shoulder with his hand still on his sword, "Do you know this small child Senjin-san," Naruto asked the woman behind him.
The woman sighed in exasperation, "It's the Hokage's grandson, and this is the twenty-seventh time this week," She said as she walked back to her seat while Naruto did the same, ignoring the child.
While doing that, the child ran into the room.
And tripped on his scarf.
"Ow, my head," The boy said as he rubbed his head before shooting his head to look at Naruto, "HAY, YOU TRIPPED ME," He yelled at the blond.
Naruto looked at the boy with a blank look on his face, "Say what now," Asked the young boy.
"You tripped me," He repeated as he looked at Naruto and said, "Apologise so you can keep being a ninja," He said with his voice becoming like that of a royal brat.
Naruto walked up to him and punched him on the top of his head, "The first thing is that you have zero power to do that," Naruto said as he kneeled to look the small boy in the eye, "And the second what is your name," Naruto asked him.
"My name is Konohamaru Sarutobi, and I'm the grandson of the Hokage," He said as he puffed out his chest.
"Aw, that nice," Naruto said as his blue and silvery blue eyes gained a light of humour to them, "I'm Naruto Namikaze Uzumaki, son of Minato Namikaze the Yondaime Hokage and Kushina Uzumaki Aka Artemis, the Goddess of the Moon, and I am the Prince of the Land of Whirlpools," Naruto told Konohamaru while looked at him in shock while Senjin started to laugh.
"He's also the head of the Uzumaki and Namikaze clans," Senjin told him.
"And so why would he need to apologise to you, Konohamaru," Hiruzen asked as he looked at his grandson with a questionable look, "Because he did not trip you, you tripped on your own feet, and who told you that you have the power to take someone's Hitai-ate from them," He asked his grandson.
"It was Ebisu who said that because I'm the 'Honourable Grandson' that I had the power to do that," Konohamaru said as they turned to hear that footsteps were coming up to them.
And before Hiruzen could continue berating Konohamaru, a man dressed in a traditional black Konoha outfit while he had black sunglasses and bandanna Hitai-ate with blue sandals, "Honourable Grandson," yelled as he saw where Konohamaru was and saw everyone in the room before glaring at Naruto behind his glasses.
"It had to be him," The man thought as Naruto could feel the hate getting sent at him.
Hiruzen could also feel the hate getting sent at Naruto before saying, "Ebisu, what have I said," He told the man as the man averted his eyes from the young mage, "Anyway, Naruto turn up at the academy in three weeks to be assigned to your team," He told the blond.
"..." Naruto just looked at Hiruzen, "I'm on the team with Sakura and Satsuki with Kakashi Hatake as my sensei," Naruto asked him.
"..."
"..."
"..."
"How did you know," He asked the young blond as Ebisu looked shocked.
"WHY IS THE DEMON BEING ON THE TEAM WITH THE PRINCESS OF THE UCHIHA CLAN," Ebisu yelled, shocking the young boy in the room.
Hiruzen looked ready to kill Ebisu before Naruto placed a hand on Ebisu.
"So you want to see a demon, do you," Naruto asked as his eyes turned to his Sharingan, and then one minute later, Ebisu was on his ass, "Know the difference," Naruto said as he said he bowed to Hiruzen and walked out.
Seeing that his grandson had walked out to follow Naruto, Hiruzen turned to Ebisu and asked, "So what did he show you."
"Th-the seal h-e to-ook me to wher-e s-seal is," Ebisu said as he looked shocked as he felt around his neck as if there was a mark there.
Konoha Main Road
Naruto was making his way to his favourite place in Konoha when he could feel that someone's eyes were on him; as he looked behind him to find Konohamaru was following him.
"Be-inway or," Naruto called out as the dragon construct started to 'wake up'.
The head of the dragon snapped up with its eyes started to gain a blue glow, as it seemed to untwine from Naruto's arm and wings folded out as it looked at Naruto, ready for orders.
"Bring up to me," He told the dragon construct and flew off while Naruto walked up to Ichiraku ramen.
"Ah Naruto, what can I get you," The owner Teuchi asked Nauro.
"Can I have a large beef bowl and," Naruto was saying before Konohamaru was plopped into the seat next to Naruto by the dragon construct, "A child's bowl of chicken for him," Naruto continued.
Teuchi looked at the small child be just nodded his head, "Coming right up for you," He said as the boy looked at Naruto.
"What. Who. Where," Konohamaru said as he looked around to see the dragon construct return to Naruto's arm.
"Lóre", He said as the dragon returned to its rest mode, "So why are you following me," Naruto asked the young boy.
Konohamaru looked at the blond in question before we looked down at the desk, "Everyone thinks of me as the Honourable Grandson, not as Konohamaru Sarutobi," He said as Naruto gained a look of sadness, "Well, that was until you," He said as he looked at Naruto.
"I saw the look in your eyes and could see that you need someone that would say no to you," Naruto said as he looked at the boy, who looked back down, "Where are your parents," He asked the boy.
"They passed on a few years ago," He said as he tried not to cry as Naruto placed a hand on the boy's shoulder.
"So why were you following me," Naruto said as he pulled the boy from his sadness.
"You beat Ebisu easy, so I would like you to teach me," Konohamaru said as Teuchi gave them a glass of water.
Naruto looked at the small boy and asked him, "So what do you want me to teach you."
Konohamaru opened his mouth before he closed it as he looked confused, "What do you mean," He asked Naruto.
"Well do you want to know Ninjutsu, Taijutsu or Genjutsu or any type of Bukijutsu," Naruto asked the small boy, who looked down in thought.
"Can you teach me Bōjutsu," He asked the blond Uzumaki as he looked down at the boy as smiled.
"I'll do my best," Naruto said as both their ramen was given to them, "Thanks, Teuchi," Naruto said as he dug into his ramen.
Konohamaru looked at the ramen and then at Naruto before digging into his ramen.
Hokage Tower, Mission Office
Hiruzen was watching Naruto and Konohamaru eating their ramen, "Well, they are at Ichiraku Ramen," He said as Ebisu was also watching them.
"I shall go and retrieve the Honourable Grandson and teach him the right way to be a ninja and then be Hokage," Ebisu said as he got ready to leave.
"Is that right," Hiruzen asked as Ebisu stopped and turned to abound to see the angry look on his leader.
"Hokage-sama what...," He started before getting cut off.
"WHAT DID I SAY FIVE YEARS A GO. HE IS TO BE TREATED LIKE A HERO, NOT A MONSTER, AND WHAT DID YOU DO," He yelled at Ebisu.
"But..," He started, but Hiruzen cut him off again.
"BUT NOTHING. HE HAS BEEN SAVING THIS VILLAGE FOR TWELVE YEARS, BUT PEOPLE LIKE YOU DO. NOT. LISTEN," His yelling continued as Ebisu started thinking about what he had been doing.
Ebisu started to think about what he had been doing and the conversation that someone else had gone through his head.
He had heard it when the elder's bodies were burnt in front of people, said the head of the Yondaime had been looking at them in anger for what they had been doing to his son.
And that is when it hit him about what he was doing, "I have nothing to say about what I have been doing," Ebisu said as he sank into the chair that Naruto had been sitting in, "All I can do now is help him teach Konohamaru where I can," He said as he looked at Hiruzen.
Hiruzen looked at the man as he could see that he had finally seen what he had been doing and had looked thou the crystal ball to see that Naruto and Konohamaru were walking away from Ichiraku were making their way to the new part of Konoha that held the Uzumaki Compunt.
"That is a start, but," He said as the man looked up at the Hokage.
Uzumaki Compound
"Ok, so you want to learn how to use a Bō staff," Naruto asked as he looked at the boy next to him.
"Yea," Konohamaru said as he looked around at the Uzumaki Compound.
He could see many things that were there.
Large houses, a forge that made metallic arms and legs, grape vines, wheat feats, other vegetables and a wide array of people, some people with pointed ears, girls that were in a silva parka and camouflage pants, some demons, some angles, some small people and some prominent people.
Oh, and a gigantic beanstalk.
"What is that," Konohamaru asked as he pointed to the beanstalk.
"That is the beginning of the Rainbow Tree," Naruto said as he looked at it be continued to the training ground.
"Wood-Make: Staff of the Monkey King," Naruto said after he clapped his hands in front of him as two wooden staffs sprouted out from the ground into his hands.
Once the staff were finished formed and popped out of the ground, he handed one to Konohamaru, "Follow my forms," Naruto said as he whirled around and held his staff in a striking motion.
And then, the two of them started going thru the motions and moving faster and faster before Naruto pivoted and went for a strike at Konohamaru.
"What the," He called out as he used his staff to block Naruto's.
"Good now, attack," Naruto said as Konohamaru sent a strike at the blond, but Naruto blocked the staff with ease, "Harder," Naruto said as Konohamaru did another strike once more.
While the side was slightly stronger than the last, he could feel it was still lacking in strength, "Now try to make yourself faster," Naruto said as he batted the stick away.
Then for the rest of the day, Naruto trained the young boy on how to use a staff.
Naruto started to carry the sleeping boy over to the Sarutobi compound, with many people looking at him. The main thing on everyone's minds was that Naruto looked like the perfect older brother.
Naruto rolled one hand before he called out, "Mage Hand," a spectral hand formed in front of him.
Naruto sent it to knock at the door of the Sarutobi compound, and after waiting for a while, someone came up and opened the door.
"What can I do for-Oh you have him," The man that opened the door said, and Naruto could see that it was someone that had helped him before his father's name was released to Konoha.
"Hey Cato," Naruto said as he nodded his head as the Mage Hand flouted beside him, "Now can we get this little guy to bed," Naruto said as the Mage Hand pointed at Konohamaru.
Cato nodded but gained a small as Konohamaru said in a sleepy voice, "But Nii-san," but was sent back into his slumber.
So Naruto took the small boy to his room, put him to bed, and then returned home.
Three Weeks Later
After three weeks of training Konohamaru in not just Bōjutsu, but some Taijutsu with some use of legs, Ninjutsu with him teaching the boy his female transformation jutsu, some Genjutsu showed the boy some Kenjutsu.
He felt proud, and when called Nii-san the, he became a lantern of joy.
But today, he had something important to do.
He had to meet his team, his sensei and become a ninja of Konoha as he walked up to the Academy while meeting with Satsuki on the way.
Satsuki has also changed her clothes.
She had dark blue pants, over which hung a blue cloth that covered her from her stomach to her knees, which she secured with a black rope belt.
She complements this with a grey zippered, high-collared, short-sleeved shirt and blue wrist warmers.
She changed her boots, knee boots.
Behind her in the black rope belt was a chokutō with a black handle and sheath.
"So how are you 'Nii-san'," She said to Naruto with a cheeky smile.
"Yes, laugh it up, but let's go find out who is the Rookie of the year," Naruto said as they both made their way in.
After a while of them waiting for the rest to arrive, there was only a small hand full of people in the room.
Iruka walked in soon after before he stood in front of them at his podium, "Now you know that you all going to be filtered into three-man teams with a sensei to teach you the ways to become a ninja of Konoha," Iruka said as he started to read off the list before calling out, "First the Rookie of the Year is tied between Naruto Uzumaki and Satsuki Uchiha," as the room started to clap for them while Satsuki was pleased.
Naruto, on the other hand, did not give a dame.
"The Kunoichi of the Year is Sakura Haruno," Iruka added.
At the same time, the room started to clap again, "Now the dead last is Kiba Inuzuka," Iruka continued as the room clapped once more while Kiba slammed his head on the table.
"Now for the teams," Iruka told them as they all got ready, "Team 1 is..." Iruka said as he started to read out names before he got to, "Team 7 is Naruto Uzumaki," Naruto looked up from the book that he was reading, "Sakura Haruno," Sakura looked at Naruto before gaining a look of acceptance, "And Satsuki Uchiha," Satsuki high-fived Naruto, "Your sensei is Kakashi Hatake," Iruka finished.
Iruka called out to the rest of the teams, "Now all of you wait for your sensei to turn up and once more, it has been my pleasure to teach you all," He told them before he walked out.
"So what you reading," Satsuki asked the blond next to her.
"A book on artefact building, and as you can see, I need to see if I can make something better than this," Naruto said as he pointed to the metal dragon on his arm.
"Can you make a better one," She asked him.
"I think so," Naruto told her as Sakura joined them and looked at the book Naruto was reading.
"To make an Elemental Dragon Cannon, you would need obs of some material to fire and depending on the rune that is used depends on the element," She read in her head.
"What the hell does that mean," Inner Sakura asked her outer self.
Naruto pulled down his gloves as he pulled out some tools, "Be-inway or," Naruto called out as the dragon construct awoke.
It uncurled itself from Naruto's arm, its wings unfurling as it moved to the desk.
"Welsa," Naruto said to it as Sakura looked at him in confusion.
The construct opened its mouth as Naruto started to work on the small dragon with his tools.
A woman in a white battle dress with fair skin, black hair and red eyes, "Team 8 with me, please," She called out as Hinata, Shino, Kiba and Akamaru walked up to her and then they left.
"So what are you doing," Satsuki asked Naruto as she could see his doing something in the mouth of the construct.
"I'm adding another element to this little guy," Naruto told her.
As the seconds turned to minutes and the minutes turned to hours, Naruto finished tinkering with the construct; he then started to drift off to sleep.
And what no one had seen was a raven perched on the windowsill and looking at Naruto with ethereal blue eyes before sinking into the shadows.
Naruto's Deam
Naruto was walking thou a forest before the forest started to turn dark with the cawing of ravens around him.
"What," Naruto said as he looked.
The Nordic knot glowed gold as out of his shadow Fenrir formed next to him, "It seems that the Raven Queen is summoning us," He told the blond.
Naruto looked down at the wolf god, "Isn't she a god," Naruto asked the wolf as they walked.
"Yes and no," Fenrir said as they walked, "While she is classed as a goddess of death, she is also classed as an Arcfey," He continued as they found that the forest had disappeared around them and a dark mountain had formed in front of them.
As they continued walking, they found a sinister-looking castle, "So I'm to guess that she is in there," Naruto said as he looked at the castle.
"Yep," Fenrir said as he popped the p.
"Alright then," Naruto said as both of them started to walk up to the castle, and a sound was coming to their ears.
It was mournful moaning.
As they walked across a bridge, an ethereal blue glow started to creep up below them.
They could see ravens flying above them in the sky and cawing as black feathers fell around them.
They reached the castle gates adorned with silver ravens around them, and in the centre of the gates was what looked like a mask.
A porcelain female face.
The gates opened in words, and they could see no one there.
They found a long hallway that led to another door, "Do we keep going," Naruto asked Fenrir.
"If you let me grow, we can go forward," Fenrir said as his body glowed in a golden light as he grew to the full height of Naruto, and they walked forward.
As they walked into the hallway, the gates closed behind them, and they made their way to the set of doors.
And like the gates, the doors opened on their own they found a woman sitting in a throw that seemed to be made out of bone and silver.
The woman with dressed in a long black cloak and a pale white porcelain female face-like mask; her skin, as Naruto could only see her hands poking out of the cloak, was a pale white as it almost was as white as the mask, her hair was as black as the shadows that were around them.
"Greetings, son of the Moon Maiden, I am sorry for calling on you this great day for you," She said to Naruto before turning to look at Fenrir, "And greeting to you, Father of Wolves," She continued.
Naruto and Fenrir looked at each other before Naruto asked, "Why have you called us here," Naruto asked as he looked at the Raven Queen.
"I wish to form a warlock bond with you," She said as Naruto looked confused.
"I thought I could only have one patron for a warlock bond," Naruto asked, confused.
"You would normally be right, but," She said as she left the last part open for Naruto to finish.
"I'm the champion of Lady Magic," And he did indeed finish.
"That's right, as the Mother of the Horsemen is your Pact of the Tome, as you know by that book on your hip," She said as she pointed at the book chained to his left side.
"That's right, as Lilith told me that it holds all my spells," Naruto said as he unclipped it and looked through it.
And with some of the pages, each held a different spell that Naruto could use, "That is right, but through your bond with her and thus each spell that you learn was appear in that book," She said as Naruto closed the book, "But thou my bond you will gain the spells of the void," She said as Naruto looked in thought.
"What is the bond called," Fenrir asked the Raven Queen.
"It's called Bond of the Taken," She told him as Naruto took a step back, "And that does not mean that I will take you," She said as she held up a hand as a spirit formed in front of her.
"It means that you can take THEM," She said as an ethereal purple light created out of her hand pushed the spirit as it turned to Naruto with glowing supernatural purple eyes.
Sectral green armour formed over it as it looked at Naruto as if ready to fight, "Is power is called Take," The Raven Queen said as she then waved her hand as she waved her hand and the spirit dispersed, "So will you form a bond with me," She asked the blond.
"Before I answer, why have you called Fenrir here as well," Naruto asked the death goddess.
"Bond with me and know," She said as she held out a hand to him.
Naruto looked at the Father of Wolves, "What do you think," Naruto asked him.
"You need as many things as you can," He said as he pushed Naruto forward with his snout.
Naruto walked forward and met her hand with his own.
Shadows formed a ring around them as they formed a circle on the floor beneath them, before another circle formed under Fenrir.
Once the shadows had died, a new spell started to fly in his head.
Fenrir was the same as something flashed thou his head.
"You can go back now," She told Naruto as the shadows started to reach up and pull Naruto down, and the same was happening to Fenrir.
And with the knowledge that was flowing in their heads embraced the darkness around them.
Ninja Academy At The Same Time
Satsuki looked at Naruto, who had put his head on the desk, so she turned to the construct, "Lóre," She said to it.
It looked at her before it crawled over to Naruto's arm and entered its rest mode.
"So did Naruto build that dragon thing," Sakura asked Satsuki as she closed Naruto's book.
"With a little help from someone we both know," Satsuki said as she saw the knot tattoo on Naruto's arm glow, "What is happening in his dream," She thought as the time rolled by.
"So what do you know about Naruto," Sakura asked her soon-to-be teammate.
"Well, I know that his father is the Yondaime; his mother is Kushina Uzumaki or Aka Artemis," Satsuki said as she turned her gaze to look at the pink-haired girl.
"Artemis," Sakura asked the Uchiha.
"Artemis, goddess of the Moon," Satsuki said as Sakura gained a shocked look.
"What the fuck," Inner Sakura asked, "His mother is a goddess," She continued.
While Sakura was dealing with the knowledge that her blond teammate was a god's son, Satsuki could see that Naruto's shadow was shifting for a while.
It then returned to normal as Naruto started to shift awake, "Have a nice sleep," Satsuki asked the blond.
"Well, I was, but then someone wanted to see me, so she high jacked my dream just to meet me," Naruto told her while Sakura looked confused.
"Who was it," Satsuki asked him before her face became dark, "Was it END," She enquired.
"END, who or what the hell is END," Sakura asked herself as she looked at Naruto's face darken.
"No, it's still not out of its seal yet," Naruto said as Satsuki lost the dark look on her face, "It was the Raven Queen," Naruto told her.
Satsuki racked her brain to find where the name came from, and after a second, it rang a bell, "Oh, you mean the goddess of death that lives in the fey wild," Satsuki asked the blond.
Naruto looked at her with a deadpan look and asked, "How can you remember the types and names of the gods? But when I am learning about creatures, you are a black slate," Naruto said as Satsuki looked away sheepishly.
Before Naruto could get some more digs in, he felt someone getting closer to them.
"It seems that your sensei is here," Naruto said as Satsuki looked at the door while Sakura looked confused, "I'm a sensory type," Naruto said as she nodded.
A hand seemed to pull the door across to open the door as a man with silver hair started to walk into the room.
He was dressed in the typical Jōnin attire, with a mask covering the lower half of his face and using his Hitai-ate to cover one of his eyes.
His eye looked them over as before his eye became a smile somehow, "Based on my first look," He said as they looked at him, "You all suck," He told them.
Naruto clenched his automail fist.
Satsuki looked at him with a twitching eye.
Sakura just looked confused.
"Meet me on the roof," The man said before going up in smoke.
All three of them looked at the smoke before the blonde got up from his seat, "So to the roof," Naruto said as he made his way to the door.
"To the roof," They said in unison as they all walked up to the roof.
When they got there, they found the man sitting on the railing while he was waiting for them.
"You took your time getting here," He said as the three walked up and sat in front of him, with Sakura on the left, Naruto in the middle and Satsuki on the right, "Now, I want you all to introduce yourself," He told them.
"..."
"..."
"Why don't you go first, sensei, so we know what we have to say," Sakura asked the man.
"Alright then," He said as he looked at them, "My name is Kakashi Hatake; I'm a Jōnin, I like many things, and I dislike many more things; I have dreams; my hobbies are none of your business," The now named Kakashi said to them as they all looked at him.
"So the only thing," Naruto started.
"That we have learnt," Satsuki added.
"Was his name and rank," Sakura finished for them.
"Short blond, you first," Kakashi said to the blond of his team.
Naruo's hand shot to his Zanpakutō while Satsuiki's hand shot to his to stop him from drawing the blade, "My Name is Naruto Namikaze Uzumaki," Naruto started with Kakashi cringing at the name Namikaze, "I'm a Gennin and a Mage," Naruto said as Sakura looked at him.
"What the," She thought.
"My likes are gardening, training, ramen, singing and reading; my dislikes are those that dis ramen, those that harm women, I hate rape," Naruto said as his eyes flashed red for a moment with slit pupils.
"My dream is to keep END sealed, bring magic back into the world, revive the Uzumaki clan and become Hokage; my hobbies are tinkering with things, learning magic, playing pranks, training in both magic and chakra, reading, gardening and cooking," Naruto finished.
Kakashi looked at the blond as Naruto and gave a hidden smile, "So he is like sensei, Rin; you would have loved to meet him," He thought before his thought turned dark.
"Obito; you better hope that Artemis-sama finds you before I do, or so gods help me, I will be asking Naruto for the Shinigami so I can hand you to him personally," Kakashi said in his mind before turning to Sakura.
"Pink head, your go," He told Sakurawho's eye twitched at being called a pink head, "So Naruto is affected by his height and Sakura by any mention of her forehead," Kakashi thought as he looked at his first two students.
"My name is Sakura Haruno, a Genin, and my likes are reading; my dislikes are anyone that talks about my forehead," She said as Naruto looked at her.
"Why is that," Naruto asked her.
"Everyone makes fun of it," She told him as she looked down, "It makes me look ugly," She said as Naruto moved closer to her as looked up.
"I don't think it makes you ugly," Naruto said as his nerves took him over as he moved his head closer to hers, "I just think that it makes you more beautiful," Naruto said as her eyes widened, averting them.
"Don't lie to me," She told him with a quiet voice, "Just tell me what you think about my forehead," She told him as Kakashi looked confused at what was happening.
Satsuki was smiling.
"Your forehead is so charming it just makes me want to kiss it," Naruto said as he leaned in and kissed her forehead.
Her face became bright red as Kakashi got her attention with her face still red, "My dislikes are also Ino; my dream is to be a medical-nin that can rival Tsunade-sama," She said Naruto looked at her with Satsuki also joining in looking at her.
"That is a hefty goal," Kakashi said to her.
"And being Hokage is not," She asked the man.
"True," he said as he told her to continue.
"My hobbies are reading," She said as Kakashi nodded his head.
"So she wants to be a medical-nin," Kakashi thought as he looked at the girl, "I'll talk with Hana to see if she could train her in medical ninjutsu," He thought before turning to Satsuki.
"And now the Uchiha Princess," Kakashi said as Satsuki nodded her head.
"My name is Satsuki Uchiha; I'm a genin; my likes are training and helping Naruto with his magic," Satsuki said as Kakashi and Sakura looked at Naruto as if asking him.
"It's true," He said as Satsuki pulled out a bag of dust, "She helps me with holding some of my spell components," Naruto told them.
"My dislikes are when Itchai flicks my forehead," She said as Naruto gained a slight smile on his face, "My dream is to be the head of the Anbu for when Naruto becomes Hokage," Satsuki said as Kakashi looked shocked.
"You plan to be his Anbu captain commander," Kakashi asked the Uchiha.
"Yea, and we have got Shikamaru to be one of his advisers," She told the silver-haired man.
Naruto nodded his head, "Shinamarui has also said that he wants to take over from his father as the head Jōnin," Naruto said as Kakashi nodded with Sakura looking put out.
"But Shikamaru is lazy," She told them.
But all she got in return was, "And so are the rest of the Nara clan."
"Anyway, my hobbies are cooking and reading," Satsuki finished as the others nodded.
"Well, now that we have been introduced, let's get on with the test," Kakashi said as the three of them looked on in confusion.
"What test," Satsuki asked him.
"What did you really think that all you need to become a ninja of Konoha was the Bunshin no Jutsu, Kawarimi no Jutsu and Henge no Jutsu," Kakashi asked them as they looked at each other.
"What do you mean," Naruto asked the man.
"Each team has a 66% chance for actually becoming a team of ninjas for Konoha's use," Kakashi told them as they looked ready to die from that.
"So what are we doing," Naruto asked the man.
"Well, you have to pass a survival test to become a ninja of Konoha," Kakashi told them, "Meet me at training ground 7 at 6 in the morning tomorrow," He informed them as he readied himself to leave.
He then turned back to them, "Oh, and I would suggest that you don't eat breakfast tomorrow, for you'll throw up," He told them before jumping away from them.
Naruto thought about what Shisui had told him and Satsuki about the need to be a ninja ok, Konoha.
It would need all three of them.
"Hey, Naruto," Satsuki called to the blond.
Naruto looked around him to see that Sakura and Satsuki were looking at him, "Did I just space out," Naruto asked the two of them.
"Yes," Both of them said as one.
"Well then," Naruto muttered as he got up, "I just figured it out," Naruto said as the two of them.
The Next Morning, Traning Ground 7
All three Genin stood in an open field while waiting for their sensei.
One hour later, Naruto had to widdle some wood, ebony to be exact, to make something that was about fifteen inches long.
As the second hour came by, the wood had taken on a rod-like shape; he then moved to start sanding it with some sandpaper as Satsuki began to sharpen her blade.
The third hour came by as Naruto started to add some details to the rob in his head; Satsuki had finished her sword after thirty minutes, then she had moved on to her Kunai, which was now finished, and Sakura had pulled out a book.
And dead on being four hours late, Kakashi turned up, "Hey, sorry I'm late," He told them.
All three jumped and yelled at them, "WHERE THE FUCK WERE YOU."
"When I got out of my door, a black cat passed my path, so I had to take the scenic route," He said with an eye smile.
Satsuki looked at Naruto, who was vibrating with anger, so she turned back, "You lying," She said as Kakashi ignored them as he walked past them.
As he got close to the three stumps and placed a clock on one of them, "You have three hours to get these bells from me," He said as he held up silver bells on red strings, "And and the person that does got get a bell gets sent back to the academy," He then told them as they all looked.
"But there are only two bells," Sakura said as she remembered what Naruto had told them the day before.
He then pulled out something and placed it on one of the stumps, "And as a sign of goodwill," Kakashi said as he showed what he had placed on the stump.
It was three lunchboxes; one had a cloth wrapping with cartoony bones, while the others were plane metal boxes.
"But before I send the failed person back to the academy, me and the two that have passed will have lunch," He said as Sakura's stomach started to rumble.
Naruto and Satsuki looked at her with raised eyebrows as her face gained some red on her cheeks.
"Sorry," She said to the both of them.
Naruto let out a sigh as Satsuki shook her head while Kakashi looked at them, "I thought I told you not to eat breakfast this morning," He said to them.
"It was not an order for us," Satsuki said to the man.
"And because if we are not Konoha ninja yet, we do not have to take your orders except in a yellow smoke emergency," Naruto told him as Kakashi nodded his head.
Kakashi looked over each of them as he gaged each of them, as he remained stoic.
While on the inside, he was smiling because.
Satsuki was in the front and was reaching into her pouch with one hand while her other hand was going for her chokutō.
In the middle, Naruto placed one of his hands on the hilt of his Zanpakutō while his other hand was getting ready to fire something.
And Sakura was in the back and was preparing a Genjutsu.
"Well, it looks that they are ready to be ninja," He thought as he looked at them, "But are they ready to work as a team," He asked in his thoughts.
"Come at me with intent to kill," Kakashi said as the three of them got ready, "Begin," He called out to them as they answered the question.
Both sword users drew their blades as Satsuki threw something from her pouch to Naruto's open palm.
It was a marble.
"Dance thou the threes, wind bellow," Naruto started to chant as he closed his automail fist around the marble, "Gather from the four corners," he then clenched his automail hand crushing the marble, "Cut thou the steel, storm and rain," the wind formed an arcing blade around his fist before the marble dust added to the wind blade, "Razor Wind," Naruto called out as he opened his hand and shot out the blade of wind.
And before Kakashi could attack them, Sakura started to fly thou hand seals before all three of them faded from view.
"So they are working together," Kakashi thought as he started to lift his Hitai-ate to show a Sharingan eye, and he saw thou the Genjutsu as the three of them surrounded them.
"Eldritch Blast," Naruto called out as a burnt orange bolt of energy shot out from his hand at Kakashi.
At the same time, Satsuki had thrown a horde of Shuriken that started to fly, while Sakura did the same with Kunai.
"Whey has good synchronicity," He thought as he dodged all three attacks that were sent his way, "But they do need a small bit more," He said in his head as he looked at Sakura, "She needs it the most," He thought to himself.
"You three are doing good," Kakashi told them as Sakura squeaked while Naruto and Satsuki readied themselves, "Now, do you three know the main three main arts of the ninja," He asked the three of them.
"Rule one is Taijutsu," Naruto said before he moved within striking range of Kakashi with his automail leg out as ready to kick the man, "Flanchet," He called out with his leg going for Kakashi's stomach.
Kakashi moved out of the way of the metal leg.
Satsuki moved in fast as she moved her hands to strike at Kakashi as quickly as her body could move, "Gasōshi," She called out as Kakashi tried to avoid some of the hits.
"So Guy has been teaching her the startings of Ryūsui Gansai-ken," He thought as he could feel some of the hits dig into him.
Sakura then moved in with her fist cocked back, and with Naruto seeing then, Naruto pivoted on his leg, "Menton," Naruto said as his leg was going for Kakashi's jaw.
"Thanks to the hits that Satsuki landed on me, I can't dodge," He thought as he gained a smile, "So Sakura needs the help of some Taijutsu," He told himself as he grabbed Sakura by her fist and threw her away from both Naruto and Satsuki.
The Genjutsu dropped as Sakura skidded over the floor, "And that was lesson 2.5 for Genjutsu can be dropped if the caster is hurt," Kakashi told the three of them, "Now for the last lesson for ninja," Kakashi started before Satsuki started to flying thou hand seals.
"Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu," Satsuki called out before she breathing out a fireball.
The fireball overtook Kakashi, and once the fireball had dispersed, Kakashi was nowhere to be seen.
They looked around for the silver-haired man until Satsuki felt something grab her lower leg; they heard the man's voice from below her, "Doton: Shinjū Zanshu no Jutsu," and with that, Kakashi was standing above Satsuki.
While Satsuki was within the ground with only her head poking out of the ground.
"Who's next," Kakashi asked Naruto and Sakura.
Naruto silently drew his Zanpakutō as Naruto heard a voice in his head, "Finally using me, my lord," The female voice of Naruto's Zanpakutō.
"Yes," Naruto said out loud as he held his blade in front of him.
Kakashi's body tensed as he watched this.
"Break your chains, swallow the sun," Naruto started to call out as he began to rotate the blade to the ground as it started to change form and glow a mixture of black and silver light and its shape started to become more curved.
"Howl in the night, hunt the moon," Naruto finished, canting as the blade changed, and the light faded as the sword took on the shape of a crescent moon. (Think the Crescent Blade of Zenaku/Duke Org Rouki from Power Rangers Wild Force/Hyakuju Sentai Gaoranger)
"Ōjo Ōkami Senshi," Naruto said as he held his blade and pointed it at Kakashi, as the blade started to heat up and glow red, "Sekigetsu," Naruto called out as he slashed at the air.
Naruto slashed at the air as a crescent wave of flames flew at Kakashi.
Before it could hit Kakashi, the man jumped out of the way before Kakashi heard Naruto call out, "Hadzuki," and a crescent wave of water was sent out and hit Kakashi in the chest and started to drag him back.
Kakashi then, after coming back from the hit, turned to have a look around, "Ok, then Sakura is running to Satsuki to help her out of the ground, and Naruto is slashing at me with his Zanpakutō," He thought before he blinked, and saw Naruto with the large blade coming at him.
Kakashi pulled out a Kunai and blocked Ōjo Ōkami Senshi, "So your Zanpakutō is a woman," He asked the blond Uzumaki as the Kunai and Zanpakutō clashed, "A princess," He said as Naruto gained a smile.
"Ōjo Ōkami Senshi is not only a princess but a warrior," He said as the blade started to glow black.
Kakashi's eyes started to grow wide as the black glow enveloped the blade, "Zangetsu," Naruto called out as he pulled Ōjo Ōkami Senshi down and thou Kakashi's Kunai.
Kakashi used a Kawarimi no Jutsu and replaced it with a scarecrow, and Naruto had easily cut through it.
Naruto looked around to find Kakashi by a tree with an orange book in his hand.
"Are you trying to kill me," He asked the blond demigod.
But Kakashi did one thing wrong.
He showed Naruto his book.
"That book," Naruto growled as his eyes turned crimson with black slits, his whiskers started to blacken, and his teeth became sharper.
Kakashi looked frightened at what Naruto was doing.
"Why has be become like this," He thought to be then looked where Naruto was looking, and it was not at him.
It was at his book.
"Why is he mad at my boo-oh it's about Jiraiya-sama," He thought as Naruto gained a faint red glow.
Sakura looked shocked at the anger that Naruto was releasing as she helped Satsuki out of the ground, "Oh, he had to read that book," She, and listening to Kakashi, heard Satsuki say.
"What do you mean," Sakura asked them.
"The author of that book is both Naruto's grandfather and godfather," She told them as it started to click in Kakashi's head.
"Jiraiya-sama had not visited Naruto since his birth or anytime when Naruto gained his magic," Kakashi thought as he closed his book and put it away, "So if we ever run into him, Naruto may try to attack and kill him," Kakashi said in his head.
The crescent blade of Ōjo Ōkami Senshi started to glow pure silver and crimson, "Korō Gekidotsuki," Naruto called out as he slashed at the air as a mixed crescent wave of both crimson and silver chakra started to fly at Kakashi.
Naruto started to attack Kakashi wildly with Ōjo Ōkami Senshi as the man managed to escape the slashes coming his way.
"If he passes to become a ninja, I'll have him go to anger management," Kakashi thought before getting cut it off from my Satsuki.
"He already is in anger management," She told the cyclops as he looked at the Uchiha, "But as he's an Uzumaki, so to him, a family must always help each other," Satsuki started as she crawled out of the ground.
"A son of one of the goddesses of maidenhood, so he hates woman that would gladly sell their maidenhood and outright despises men that go there," She added as she placed a hand on her sword, " And a Jinchūriki, and it's in his job to get angry," She told the man.
"Oh, oh shit," Kakashi said as he continued to dodge the blade coming at him.
Sakura watched Naruto attack wildly, "Do you think that if Naruto destroyed the book, he would stop," She asked Satsuki as she also got ready to fight.
"I think so," She said as Kakashi started to freak out.
"I can't let that happen, but...," Kakashi thought as he moved out of the way of the blade coming to his head, "Now Naruto would you clam down ju-OH SHIT," He was saying before another Sekigetsu came flying at him.
"So long as something of that man is here, I WILL NOT CLAM DOWN," Naruto roared as Kakashi looked into the face of the blond.
And he saw Kurama looking at him.
So he did something that he will regret for the rest of his life.
He reached into his pouch, pulled out his book, and used it to black jet another Sekigetsu coming his way.
"So long my Icha Icha Paradise sight by Jiraiya-sama," He thought as he cried rivers as he watched the book getting turned to ash, "It was either you or me, but I will get another one of you soon," He thought to it as it was finished burning.
Once the fire had died down, Kakashi could see that Naruto had returned to normal, "Sorry about that, sensei," Naruto apologised to the man.
He turned to Naruto and could not help but ask, "Why do you hate Jiraiya-sama".
"Family is supposed to be there for each other, but he decided not to be here, and because of that, I lost an arm and leg," Naruto said as Kakashi looked down.
"He's Konoha's spy maste-," Kakashi started, but Sakura cut him off.
"He's one of Konoha's Sanin who could take on a Kage and could have one of his spies guard Naruto for a while while he was doing something," She said as Kakashi nodded his head.
"She's right," Kakashi thought about it before the bell went off as he breathed relief.
"Well, it looks like none of-," Kakashi was saying before the sound of a bell ringing as everyone turned to look at Naruto, who had the bells in his automail hand.
"I think I pass," Naruto said as he held out the bells and placed Ōjo Ōkami Senshi on his shoulder.
Kakashi narrowed his eyes as he looked at the Jinchūriki, "So Genin Uzumaki, who are you going to give the other bell to," He asked the blond.
"Now you see that is the thing," Naruto said as he looked deadpan at Kakashi in the eyes, "As I have gotten the bells, I pass," Naruto said as he threw the bells over to the other two, "And since they both have the bells they pass as well," Naruto finished.
Kakashi looked at them with his eyes drilling into them before he pulled down his Hitai-ate, covering the Sharingan and giving them an eye smile.
"You three pass," Kakashi told the three of them as they gained a smile, "You three did some good work as a team but there and there are small things that need help, and some of you need some training in other areas," He continued as the three nodded his head.
"So were team 7," Sakura asked the man.
"That's right, but before you lot go home, let me show you something," Kakashi said as he led them to a large monument in the shape of a kunai blade, "This is the memorial stone that holds the names of Konoha's greatest heroes that have fallen in battle," Kakashi said to them.
Genin walked up to the stone and read some of the names on there, but Sakura notest something.
"Sensei, if this, if this stone holds the names of fallen heroes, then why is there a name crossed out," Sakura asked the man.
Kakashi walked over to her and saw the name.
It was Obito Uchiha.
"That man is why the Kyūbi attacked Konoha 12 years ago," Kakashi told her, but his hands clenched.
"And why the Yondaime had to seal it within his son, making him a Jinchūriki," Sakura said as she looked at Nauro.
Naruto, Satsuki and Kakashi looked in shock, "How did you know," Naruto asked her.
"When you revealed that Mizuki was a spy, I was in the room, and then I looked up the word Jinchūriki," She said as the others looked shocked.
Naruto kneeled as the others looked at his wounder and started to move his hands around to make a wreath grow as Satsuki pulled out candles.
Sakura saw what they were doing, pulled out a box of matches, lit the candles, and then the both of them joined Naruto in praying.
Later In The Day, Konoha, Hokage's Office
A hand full of Jōnin stood around Hiruzen's office while there were waiting for Kakashi to arrive before said man came in a puff of smoke, "Sorry I'm late; I got lost on the road of life," He told them.
The others rolled their eyes at the man as they turned to their leader, "So how did the teams do," He asked them.
"Team 1 failed," A man said.
Hiuzen nodded before the man left.
"Team 2 fails, but two of them have some promise," A woman said.
"Give the names to my receptionist so that I could make another team out of them," Hiruzen told the woman, who nodded and left.
Another man walked up and said, "Team 3 passes," as Hiruzen nodded.
"Team 4 fails, but one of them tried to work in a team," A woman said as she looked down, "And I don't think that I'm fit to be a sensei," She informed Hiruzen.
"Understood, give the name to my receptionist the name when you leave," He told her as she nodded her head.
"Team 5 fails", A man said as he just walked out, shaking his head.
"Same for team 6," Another man said as he walked out.
Kakashi eye smiled as he looked at the people in the room, "Team 7 passes," He told them as everyone looked at him in shock.
"Team 8 passes," The woman in the battle dress said to the ageing leader.
"Very good," Hiruzen said as he turned to the last man in the room, "And your team Asuma," He asked him.
"Team 10 also passed, but I'm going to need to ask Yamanaka-sama if I can get Anko to s Ino out of her fan girl faze," The now-named Asuma said.
"Right, but make sure you do," Hiruzen told him.
