Chapter 609: Zu Fei happened to accidently beat up a few people~
As Feng Chen was making his way towards the Shattered Star Peaks, Xuan Hao had finished inspecting the Chaotic Qi Formation and made his way down the mountain to meet Shu Yao and Zu Fei.
According to what he knew, Shu Yao, Zu Fei and Feng Chen were the people who would be in charge of the construction of the new sect.
For this reason, Xuan Hao had decided to show all of them around and decide where to place the new main sect of the Flying Sword Sect. After all, now that the Chaotic Qi Formation covered everything on the Shattered Star Peaks outside the Third Star Peak, there was more than one location that the main sect could be built.
No matter where it was on the Shattered Star Peaks, Xuan Hao would leave it all in the hands of Shu Yao and the other two to decide.
After all, when it came to deciding where to place the new Flying Sword Sect, they should be more knowledgeable than him…
However, the Fourth Star Peak that was covered in a special kind of alpine vegetation and the Seventh Star Peak that was barren like the Third Star Peak were by far the best locations to build on.
The Fourth Star Peak had some vegetation and small trees that would surely begin growing rapidly flowing the pure qi coming from the Chaotic Qi Formation slowly covering the entire Shattered Star Peak.
The Seventh Star Peak on the other hand was completely barren like the Third Star Peak. The positive with the Seventh Star Peak was that it was closer to the official entrance of the Shattered Star Peaks, while the Fourth Star Peak was located a bit farther away.
Although this would not be a problem to anyone with a cultivation in the Foundation Establishment, it would surely end up becoming troublesome for the disciples below the Foundation Establishment Realm wanting to visit the city at the base of the Ninth Star Peak…
It should not be forgotten that even the smallest mountain, the Ninth Star Peak, already covered around three quarters of what the current sect of the Flying Sword Sect did!
The Seventh- and Fourth-Star Peak were both covering and area over two times the size of the current main sect of the Flying Sword Sect… And that was only considering the peak of the two mountains.
Shaking his head as he thought about this, Xuan Hao soon arrived at the base of the Ninth Star Peak where Shu Yao and Zu Fei were already waiting, Feng Chen had not arrived yet and would still take some time to reach the Shattered Star Peaks. After all, Feng Chen was not a Domain Lord and could at most use a flying demon beast to increase his travelling speed.
Standing at what had once been the place for anyone willing to part with a few spirit stones to enter the Shattered Star Peaks and make their way up the Ninth Star Peak, Shu Yao, and Zu Fei both sat down on a small bench located next to the path as they waited.
"Zu Fei, Shu Yao!"
"Elder Xuan! You finally showed up!"
Calling out to the two of them, Zu Fei was the first to respond as she jumped up from the bench before charging over.
"Elder Xuan, why did you let me deal with all the people you threw down from the Ninth Star Peak!? Even after they knew I was a Nascent Soul Realm Expert, they still dared to pester me about the Ninth Star Peak being for everyone.
Even after I gave them the spirit stones, they paid to enter the Shattered Star Peaks, they still complained and even wanted to fight me! Some unruly people even directly ignored me and began making their way back up the Ninth Star Peak even after I tried to stop them! Only after I beat up a few of them did they listen and disperse…"
"Ahm… My bad, I didn't expect the people harvest spiritual herbs at the Ninth Star Peak to be so… Aggressive…"

Not knowing what to say as he heard Zu Fei explain how she had been attacked by a group of angry Qi Condensation Realm and Foundation Establishment Realm cultivators, Xuan Hao felt that it was rather surprising that Zu Fei had only beaten them up before letting them go-
"Hm?
Suddenly noticing something out of the corner of his eyes, Xuan Hao turned towards an open space located just next to the path leading up the Ninth Star Peak.
"What is-"
Swish!
"Ahahaha, that is… Don't worry about it, Elder Xuan. Are you going to show us the formation you set up to keep out the chaotic qi?" Noticing where Xuan Hao was looking, Zu Fei showed a slightly embarrassed expression as she jumped in front of Xuan Hao to block his view while saying this.
"…"
You do know what a divine sense is… Right? Doing this won't stop me from seeing whatever is behind you…
Not knowing what to say upon seeing Zu Fei like this, Xuan Hao rolled his eyes before using his divine sense to see the open space behind Zu Fei.
Whoosh~
However, as his divine sense swept over the open space behind Zu Fei, Xuan Hao could not help frowning.
"Did a massacre take place here?"
Wait… Is this perhaps the unruly people who wanted to go back up the Ninth Star Peak? Didn't Zu Fei say she didn't kill anyone…?
"Ah- It hurts!"
"W-why did this happen? My cultivation I cultivated for the past decade... All gone!"
"P-please end it...!"
"N-no more, I-I-I-I will listen, I won't go up the mountain!"
It was only at this moment that Xuan Hao realized that none of the people laying on the ground all bloody were actually dead… Instead, it looked more like someone had violently beaten them, so they were at the brink of death, it didn't look like they had been simply 'beaten up' like Zu Fei had said…
"Zu Fei…"
"I-I accidently hit them a bit too hard…"
Ads by Pubfuture
""…""
How do you accidently hit them just hard to not kill them, but still enough for them to be bedridden for at least a few years…
Of all the people in the open space behind Zu Fei, most of them had been injured to the degree that they would need at least a few years to recover, while a small group of them had their cultivation directly crippled by Zu Fei. Not only that, but those people also had a certain part of their body destroyed.
For some reason, Xuan Hao had an idea what the reason for their circumstances being so much worse than the rest of the people was…
"Ah, looks like Feng Chen is here!"
Wanting to turn the conversation away from the bloody massacre she had created, Zu Fei suddenly pointed into the air where a flying demon beast had appeared with Feng Chen on top of it.
""…""
Knowing that the people beaten up by Zu Fei would not die and would only be bedridden for some time, Xuan Hao, and Shu Yao both turned to look towards Feng Chen approaching.
…
"Hm? What in the world happened down there…?" Sitting on a flying demon beast only a short distance away from where he could see Zu Fei, Shu Yao and Xuan Hao waiting for him, Feng Chen could not help frowning upon seeing the bloody massacre that seemed to have taken place just a short distance away from the three.
Whoosh~
Wanting to know what had happened, Feng Chen quickly landed the flying demon beast before jumping off and letting it return to the Flying Sword Sect by itself.
"What happened here? Did someone perhaps launch an attack on out branch or something?"
"Never mind that, let's get going!"
Brushing Feng Chen's question aside almost instantly, Zu Fei grabbed hold of him before dragging him up the path leading towards the peak of the Ninth Star Peak. Not intending to say anything about how she was the one responsible for what had happened to the group of people squirming in pain just beside the path leading up the Ninth Star Peak.
""…""
Xuan Hao and Shu Yao didn't say anything either, as both of them didn't want to waste any time explaining how Zu Fei had beaten up a group of people that had wanted to go back up the Ninth Star Peak.
"Hah…"
Knowing that nobody was going to explain the bloody situation next to the path leading up the Ninth Star Peak to him, Feng Chen just let out a sigh before looking away from the bloody situation below.
From the way Zu Fei acted, he had already guessed that she should be behind it… And given the fact Xuan Hao and Shu Yao didn't say anything, he could guess that both of them already understood why those people had ended up like that.
…
As the group of four were making their way up the Ninth Star Peak, Shu Yao standing in the back together with Xuan Hao gently waved her hand towards the bloody group of people below.
Whoosh~The initial posting of this chapter occurred via noovelllbbin
The wave made by Shu Yao soon caused a gentle green light to engulf the bloody people below as they began recovering rapidly. Everyone excluding the few people who had their cultivation crippled and a certain body part similarly crippled by Zu Fei…

Chapter 610: The "New" Shattered Star Peaks
"Did you perhaps place the formation on top of the Ninth Star Peak?" Reaching the lush forest on top of the Ninth Star Peak, Feng Chen who was rather familiar with the chaotic qi on the Shattered Star Peaks could not help asking this as he clearly felt the absence of chaotic qi in the air around him.
The only thing he could think of was the formation Xuan Hao told him that he would set up… However, the formation Xuan Hao told him he would set up was clearly not supposed to be on the Ninth Star Peak!
For this reason, Feng Chen felt confused as to why there was no chaotic qi present on the Ninth Star Peak.
Maybe the chaotic qi on the other Star Peaks was far too violent and he decided to just go with the Ninth Star Peak as it is by far the place with the weakest chaotic qi among the nine Star Peaks. Even if it can be considered a better location than the current location of the Flying Sword Sect, it would not be by much… Not to mention, we would end up destroying the lush forest here in the process…
Thinking this to himself, Feng Chen could not help looking towards Xuan Hao for an answer. Wondering if he had guessed correctly.
"No… The formation was not placed on the Ninth Star Peak. The reason why there is no chaotic qi present here is because the formation covers the entire Shattered Star Peaks-"
"WHAT!? It covers the entire Shattered Star Peaks!? How is that even possible!? Just what kind of formation did you set up for it to be able to isolate the entire Shattered Star Peaks from the chaotic qi…"
Not able to finish what he was going to say in response to Feng Chen's question, Xuan Hao was interrupted. Not by Feng Chen, but by Shu Yao who had mostly remained silent ever since they had made their way up the Ninth Star Peak.
"Yes, it covers all of the Shattered Star Peaks. Except for the Third Star Peak and the top of the Main and Second Star Peak. Ah, I sealed off the Main and Second Star Peak, as its rather dangerous there at the moment." Not knowing what else to say, Xuan Hao could not help chuckling after seeing Shu Yao's shocked expression.
To be honest, he had never really seen her as shocked was after learning that the formation he had set up covered the entire Shattered Star Peaks.
Well… It was not too surprising that she was shocked. After all, the fact that the formation covered the entire Shattered Star peaks and even managed to keep out the chaotic qi, while at the same time refining the chaotic qi into normal qi that could be absorbed, was something that was far above the level of any formation he should have been able to create at his current realm.
After all, the Qi Gathering Formation before being upgraded by the system would barely be able to cover three of the nine Star Peaks of the Shattered Star Peak… And that formation used a Transcendent Grade Spiritual Flower as the core!
For the current formation to be even stronger than that… Shu Yao's surprise was understandable, as she most likely thought that it was a formation set up using more than one Transcendent Grade Spiritual Treasure!
If she found out that the Chaotic Qi Formation could cover an even wider area and that the core of the formation was something above the Transcendent Grade, Xuan Hao had no idea how she would react…
"Covers all of the Shattered Star Peaks… Won't this mean that we are free to expand wherever we want inside the Shattered Star Peaks without having to worry about the chaotic qi!?" Muttering the first few words to herself as she went over what Xuan Hao said, Shu Yao soon exclaimed loudly once again before looking towards him filled with disbelief.
Very clearly, she had not expected that they would be able to build across almost all of the Star Peaks!
"Well… Yes, it does, but I would recommend we start building on either the Fourth or the Seventh Star Peak as those are the two best locations. Not to mention, we don't need to waste all our resources building all across the Shattered Star Peaks, as even after we merge together, our sect is still far too small to cover such a large area…" Smiling wryly upon hearing what Shu Yao said about expanding al over the Shattered Star Peaks, Xuan Hao quickly injected.
No matter what, building a massive sect that covered the entirety of the Shattered Star Peaks, was a far too hard thing to accomplish for the current Flying Sword Sect. Not to mention, they had far too few members to even fill out a fraction of such a massive sect. Even when merging together with the Spring Flower Sect, they would still be far away from such a thing.
At the moment, a single Star Peak was more than enough to accommodate the current Flying Sword Sect!
On the other hand, expanding the sect would be easily done in the future with so much space left on the Shattered Star Peaks.
"This is amazing… I'm sure the elders won't be unhappy about merging with the Flying Sword Sect after seeing this place…" Muttering this to herself after having confirmed all the things on her mind, Shu Yao just began observing the barely visible formation above her as it absorbed and refined the chaotic qi outside before releasing it inside the formation as pure qi that could be absorbed with ease.
Even though the concentration of qi was not that high yet, she could easily imagine how this place would turn out a few months in the future… It would become a holy land for cultivation!
Not to mention cultivators, the plants growing on the Ninth Star Peak and across the Shattered Star Peaks should also begin to see substantial changes over the next few months and years to come, as they adapted to the qi rich environment.
"This is indeed amazing…" Not understanding how powerful the formation was, Zu Fei was not as taken aback about the absence of chaotic qi and was only amazed by the fact that the formation covered the entire Shattered Star Peaks.
"…"
Feng Chen on the other hand remained silent as he gazed towards the Seventh Star Peak and the Fourth Star Peak in the distance.
No matter which of those two peaks are chosen, I will end up having to do the preliminary work organizing the construction together with Zu Fei and Shu Yao… Won't I?
Thinking this to himself while not showing the slightest bit of amazement at the formation Xuan Hao created, Feng Chen could not help sighing silently in his mind. The initial posting of this chapter occurred via noovelllbbin
Deep inside, he had a feeling that Zu Fei and Shu Yao had planned something for them to work together to get him to join them in the preliminary construction of the new main sect. The fact that they happened to do that during the time when Elder Song was on a week-long break solidified this feeling even further!
Clap~
"Well, let's get going, I will introduce each of the Star Peaks as we go along and what makes them special. After that, we can decide which of them is best to start the construction on!" Seeing that everyone was slowly drifting away into their own thoughts, Xuan hao clapped his hands together before saying this with a smile.
Whoosh~
Like this, the group of four slowly began making their way across the Shattered Star Peaks. Moving from mountain to mountain while Xuan Hao did his best to explain the things, he had found out about the different Star Peaks.
From the lake on top of the Fifth Star Peak that had now calmed down with the absence of chaotic qi, to the Sixth Star Peak that was filled with all sorts of small caves that covered it from top to bottom.
However, among the different mountains, the one that garnered the most attention from Shu Yao, Feng Chen, and Zu Fei, was the Eighth Star Peak.
The reason for this was rather obvious, as all of them had no idea about the fact that someone was already living inside the Shattered Star Peaks. Not to mention the other party belonged to a completely different race!
It was also after telling the three about the Half Spirit Race that Xuan Hao realized just how shocking it was to someone familiar with the world to see a non-human sentient race.
At the same time, it also made Xuan Hao feel more interested in just what had made the other sentient races disappear in the past. After all, according to his conversation with the grand elder of the Half Spirit Race, there were far more races all over the place in the past before something major had happened that caused every race outside the human race to either go extinct or into hiding.

611 Passing Time (1) Ñøvl--ß1n hosted the premiere release of this chapter.
"So, which of the Star peaks do you think would be the best place to build on…?" Finishing his tour of the Shattered Star Peaks together with Shu Yao, Feng Chen, and Zu Fei, Xuan Hao turned around and asked this.
Hearing this question, Shu Yao, and Feng Chen both frowned slightly before thinking deeply about the question. After all, both of them understood very well just how important this question was and dared not answer it without thinking things through properly.
"I think it would be best to go with the Seventh Star Peak. Not only are we closer to the entrance of the Shattered Star Peaks, but we would also be closer to the Eighth Star Peak of the Half Spirit Race and the Ninth Star Peak filled with spiritual herbs."
Not thinking about it as deeply as Shu Yao and Feng Chen, Zu Fei directly answered Xuan Hao's question-
"Indeed… If you say it like that, it does seem like the Seventh Star Peak is the most fitting location."
"Yeah, it would also be rather difficult for the younger disciples to reach the city at the base of the Ninth Star Peak if we decided on the Fourth Star Peak…"
Instantly causing both Shu Yao and Feng Chen to nod their head in agreement.
"Well, it looks like the Seventh Star Peak will be home to the Flying Sword Sect in the future!" Smiling happily as he saw all three of them had decided on a place, Xuan Hao knew that there was nothing more for him to do when it came to the construction of the new main sect.
All he had to do now was leave it to the elders in front of him!
Whoosh~
Understanding this, Xuan Hao didn't stay around the group of three for much longer, as he soon made his way back towards the Flying Sword Sect after a quick goodbye. Leaving the rest of the work in the hands of Shu Yao, Feng Chen, and Zu Fei.
Over the next few days, Shu Yao, Feng Chen, and Zu Fei worked together on preparing the elders below them and the workers for the construction of the new main sect.
Everything went smoothly and soon, the construction of the new main sect for the Flying Sword Sect officially began.
Given that most of the building materials for the new main sect had already been gathered in the rapidly growing city at the base of the Ninth Star Peak, this was not a problem at all, as transporting the materials to the Seventh Star Peak had been made easy by the fact that Xuan Hao had given Feng Chen over a dozen interspatial rings to make this process faster.
Not to mention, Shu Yao could also use her domain to help carry the building materials to the Seventh Star Peak.
The only thing that was weird when it came to the construction of the new main sect, was that even after Elder Song had recovered, Feng Chen was still the one taking care of the construction of the new main sect together with Shu Yao and Zu Fei.
How they had managed to convince Elder Song to let Feng Chen stay at the sect construction site while he took care of the day-to-day management of the sect was a complete mystery…
Xuan Hao did not really care about any of this, as he spent most of his time focused on training both Qing Yi and Bai Ning. Focusing most of his attention on helping the two adapt to their new strength, as Qing Yi had just reached the Core Formation Realm, while Bai Ning had just reached the Foundation Establishment Realm.
Like this, the days in the Flying Sword Sect slowly passed, days turning into weeks and soon a month passed.
…
"Finally, back…" Spending close to a month to return to the Flying Sword Sect, Chu Yang could not help feeling a sense of happiness upon seeing his master's mountain peak in the distance.
At this point in time, he could clearly feel that the exotic energy had not been completely eliminated by the Devil Immortal Jade and was slowly starting to show signs of recovering, something Chu Yang wanted to prevent at all costs!
Having spent such a long time to return from the Small River Town was not because he had ended up getting lost along the way or something along that line. Instead, it was because he had ended up encountering a group of Core Formation Realm demonic cultivators on his way back!
The Core Formation Realm Experts were all close to the Peak of the Core Formation Realm, so Chu Yang had no way to deal with them with his current strength and could only escape. Hoping that the demonic cultivators would soon give up and stop chasing after him.
Unfortunately, this did not happen…
Only after being chased all over the place for close to three weeks was, he lucky enough to encounter a Nascent Soul Realm Expert from the Spring Flower Sect making her way towards the Shattered Star Peaks who helped him out, easily dealing with the group of Core Formation Realm demonic cultivators.
After telling her that he was a disciple from the Flying Sword Sect, she was even kind enough to help him get back to the Flying Sword Sect.
If not for her help, Chu Yang had no idea how long it would have taken for him to get back again…
"Her name was Shen Xuefeng if I remember correctly…" Remembering the awesome power displayed by the elder from the Spring Flower Sect as she smashed the group of demonic cultivators to death with a giant hammer, Chu Yang felt that he should repay the elder from the Spring Flower Sect in the future when he got stronger.
Reaching the peak of the mountain and seeing his master's pavilion in front of him, Chu Yang rushed inside to find his master.
After all, only his master would be able to help him deal with the exotic energy showing signs of reappearing inside his dantian!
…
"Hm? You lost your communication talisman… The Burning Mountain Range… Exotic energy…?"
Hearing his disciple describing what he had experienced during his time outside the sect, Xuan Hao was at first surprised before feeling worried. At the same time, he also felt rather dumb for the fact that he had not thought about what to do in case one of his disciples lost the communication talisman.
In the future, it would be a good idea to keep in contact with his disciple running around outside the sect at least once a week… Just to make sure that they still had their communication talisman on them and could contact him in case something happened.
However, for now, the main thing Xuan Hao focused on, was the exotic energy mentioned by Chu Yang. According to him, the exotic energy was what had allowed him to reach the Fourth Stage of the Core Formation Realm so quickly… But at the same time, it also put him in mortal danger!
If not for the fact that Chu Yang had told him about the exotic energy, Xuan Hao would have thought that the reason for his rapid increase in strength had something to do with the young master he encountered.
Thinking about it, it seemed like Chu Yang and the young master he had encountered did not interact with each other and had merely passed by one another, a rather lucky outcome considering that Chu Yang had no way to contact him in case the powerful expert behind the young master found by the system showed up…
Swish~
"Hm?" Deciding to get started on removing the exotic energy that Chu Yang had told him about inside his dantian, Xuan Hao could not help frowning upon seeing the situation inside his disciples dantian.
Compared to the normal golden core he had expected to see upon entering his disciples dantian, the golden core was blood red as it gave off an eerie feeling. Making Xuan Hao think that he had entered the dantian of some demonic cultivator.
Only after feeling the blood red golden core with his divine sense did, he realize that there was nothing wrong with his disciples dantian, as the qi inside both his dantian and golden core was normal. Albeit being blood red in colour.
WHOOSH-!
Finding the exotic energy that Chu Yang had talked to him about only a short time later, Xuan Hao directly used his strength as a domain lord to eliminate it.
"That should be it, you should return to your room to recover." Muttering this to himself as he did a quick scan of his disciple's entire body to make sure there was no more exotic energy present, Xuan Hao directly instructed Chu Yang to go recover.
The reason he needed to recover was that during the process of the exotic energy being erased, it had also erased a large quantity of the qi that Chu Yang had stored in his dantian.
Although this would not cause any permanent damage, it would still force Chu Yang to spend a few weeks recovering the qi he had just lost.
"Yes, master!" Feeling his dantian almost empty out all of a sudden, Chu Yang's face turned slightly pale as he said this before making his way back to his room to recover the qi he had just lost.
Like this, all his disciples were back again and with nothing really happening over the next few months while the new main sect was being built, Xuan Hao decided to spend the next few months training his three disciples, while at the same time improving his own skills and techniques.
Thanks for reading! First part of timeskip is here
Feedback is very much appricated, as I have not really done much timeskip stuff before and is rather inexperinced when it comes to writing timeskips and would really love to improve, as I'm writing a Xianxia novel and more timeskips will inevitably have to happen in the future.

612 Passing Time (2)
As time passed, things were calm in the Flying Sword Sect, Xuan Hao spending most of his time teaching his three disciples, while at the same time learning all kinds of new techniques and skills. Not forgetting to spend some time learning blacksmithing, so he could at least help out Bai Ning without being completely helpless when he came to ask him about blacksmithing related questions.
During all of this, the new main sect was slowly being constructed on top of the Seventh Star Peak of the Shattered Star Peaks under the supervision of Shu Yao, Zu Fei, and Feng Chen. All three making sure that the construction progressed without any issues.
Elder Song on the other hand… Ended up with complete control over the Flying Sword Sect, as he used this newfound power to create the much-needed new branch of elders that both he and Feng Chen wished for.
A branch of elders, whose sole purpose was managing the sect's internal matters!
After the creation of this branch of elders, the operation of the Flying Sword Sect rapidly improved. The people who ended up most against this sudden branch of elders appearing was the elders belonging to the stables looking after the demon beasts… As they once again felt a massive decrease in the spiritual stones available to them...
All things considered. Nothing big happened in the Flying Sword Sect outside of this. However, the same could not be said for the rest of the world.
…
Following the disappearance of Archbishop Soft Breeze and the holy sceptre that he had been carrying with him, the Cardinal of the Order of the Sky God had been doing his best to search for the mole from the church of the plague god that had caused this to happen.
The only problem was… That the mole hidden inside the Order of the Sky God was an Archbishop!
Archbishop! Every single Archbishop was a core part of the Order of the Sky God's strength. Even losing a single one of them would be disastrous!
For this reason, the Cardinal could not do things forcefully and just kill everyone who seemed suspicious. Instead, he was forced to slowly investigate the matter to make sure he caught the right one.
The fact that Archbishop Soft Breeze had disappeared did not escape the eyes of the Cult of the Scarlet Moon and the Follower of the Fire God, as only a few weeks after Archbishop Soft Breeze had gone missing, both of them secretly began diverting their attention towards taking over the faith of the kingdoms that had formerly been under Archbishop Soft Breeze.
Given that the church of the plague god had momentarily stopped trying to snake their way inside the Sky Empire, these two religious organisations had more than enough people to spare, as both of them soon began fighting each other in the shadows over the kingdoms that had formerly been under Archbishop Soft Breeze.
The Cardinal from the Order of the Sky God clearly saw all of this, but he was helpless in doing anything about it, as he was busy trying to find the mole that had infiltrated the Order of the Sky God and caused this situation in the first place.
If he acted at this point in time to stop the two others from taking away the few kingdoms that were once under Archbishop Soft Breeze management, the mole still hidden inside his church might end up causing even more trouble!
For this reason, the Cardinal could only angrily curse at the Cult of the Scarlet Moon and the Followers of the Fire God before using all his strength to find out which of his Archbishops was the mole.
The faster the mole was found, the faster he could step in to prevent any further losses!
…
A few months after the disappearance of Archbishop Soft Breeze, the Cardinal from the Order of the Sky God found an abnormality in one of the Archbishops!
"Finally… I got you!" Muttering this to himself as he stared down at a letter that had just come in from one of his good friends, the Cardinal smiled widely as killing intent began to overflow from both his eyes.
During the time he had taken to find out who the mole was, the Order of the Sky God had already lost three kingdoms in the inner region of the Sky Empire!
One to the Followers of the Fire God and two to the Cult of the Scarlet Moon!
The worst of which was the kingdom they had lost to the Followers of the Fire God, as the kingdom they had managed to take was among the twenty largest kingdoms in the Sky Empire!
The number of people living in such a massive kingdom could be counted in the millions!
Crack~
Knowing that there were a few more kingdoms that were just about to leave his control, the Cardinal didn't waste any time as he directly tore apart the space in front of him before disappearing from the church he had been staying in over the past few months while trying to find out who the mole from the church of the plague god was.
…
Crack~
Only a short time later, the cardinal appeared directly in front of a massive church located in the outskirts of the Sky Empire's Capital. The initial posting of this chapter occurred via noovelllbbin
"Who dares- C-c-c-cardinal!?" The young priest standing in front of the church welcoming believers and at the same time making sure no one troublesome entered the sacred hall of the Sky God opened his eyes wide in shock upon recognizing the person who had just appeared in front of him.
He had actually rudely called out to the Cardinal just now!
Thump!
Not daring to say anything after recognizing the person in front of him, the young priest quickly fell on his knees shivering. Hoping that the Cardinal would spare him for his disrespect.
Whoosh~
However, contrary to what the young priest had expected to happen, the Cardinal did not say a single word as he entered the church behind him. Completely ignoring the existence of the young priest standing at the door to the church.
D-did I just escape death…?
Feeling like a burden had disappeared from his shoulders as the Cardinal disappeared inside the massive church behind him, the young priest breathed out a sigh of relief as he decided to leave as quickly as possible.
Some of the senior priests standing around the door understood what the young priest was thinking about as they decided to look the other way to the young priest leaving in the middle of his shift.
One less priest looking after the door of such a large church would make no difference.
WOOSH-!
"Hm?"
Just at this moment when the young priest was about to leave, a holy aura suddenly spread out from the interior of the massive church before washing over everyone present. At the same time a massive sea of golden clouds manifested in the air above the church.
T-this is the Archbishop's domain, what-
BOOOOOM-!
Before the young priest even had time to comprehend what was happening, an even more pure and holy aura spread out from the church and instantly overwhelmed the aura of the Archbishop.
The golden clouds that had manifested in the air above the church also shook violently before ultimately starting to crack apart.
In an instant, the domain of the Archbishop had been supressed and was about to crack apart!
Crash-!
Not giving the young priest any time to comprehend, a green ball of light burst through the roof of the church before disappearing into the distance.
Swish~
Following the green ball of light bursting through the roof of the church and escaping into the distance, a cold snort sounded out from inside the church before a figure suddenly appeared in the sky above the church.
The figure was covered in a layer of golden holy light and a sea of golden clouds had manifested around him.
Looking up at this figure that was shrouded in a layer of holy light, the young priest instantly realized that this person was the Cardinal!
Thump!
Not daring to look up any more after confirming the identity of the person in the sky above the church, the young priest fell to the ground as he began praying sincerely to the Sky God.
Whoosh~!
The Cardinal suddenly attacking someone in the outskirt of the imperial capital instantly caused a storm to sweep through the entire capital city, as several hidden experts sent out their divine sense to see what was happening.
"Ah!"
"Wh-what is this!?"
"S-Soul Ascension Realm…!"
However, those below the Soul Ascension Realm quickly retracted their divine sense after feeling a terrifying power rapidly destroying their divine sense after it reached the location of the Cardinal.
…
"Hmph! Think I will let you escape so easily!?"
Narrowing his eyes in the sky above the church, the Cardinal made a grabbing motion towards the green light in the distance.
Rumble~
This simple motion instantly caused the sea of golden clouds around him to expand rapidly towards the ball of green light in the distance before forming a massive hand made of golden clouds that slowly grabbed towards the small green light trying its best to escape.

613 Passing Time (3)
"Ahhh-!"
As the massive hand formed by golden clouds grabbed hold of the green light, a miserable scream suddenly echoed out from inside the small ball of green light before it rapidly began expanding at a speed faster than the eye of anyone below the Domain Lord Realm could follow.
Fwoosh!
Soon the ball of green light that had been the size of an apple, had expanded to a size that was comparable to the massive hand formed by golden clouds.
This in turn caused it to momentarily break free from the grip of the golden clouds, as the golden clouds were pushed back by the massive ball of green light.
"Hm? How interesting looks like a one time use protective seal left behind by a someone in the Soul Ascension Realm… However, do you really think you can escape with this?" Not the slightest bit worried upon seeing his attempt to catch the escaping Archbishop fail, the Cardinal just narrowed his eyes before attacking again-
"No-!"
Crack~
Following the helpless scream of the person hidden away inside the green ball of light, the hand formed by the golden clouds forcefully grabbed the massive ball of green light before violently crushing it!
Looking in the sky where the hand formed by golden clouds was located, the ball of green light had completely disappeared, as there was now only an elderly man covered in blood present inside the hand formed by the golden clouds.
At this point in time, the elderly man was fearfully staring towards the Cardinal from the Order of the Sky God.
It was also at this point in time that the people watching the battle taking place from afar realized that the battle was between the Cardinal and an Archbishop from the Order of the Sky God… Of course, this revelation left all kinds of questions in the minds of these people, as they had no idea why the Cardinal suddenly attacked one of his Archbishops.
"That is… Archbishop Green Sky!?"
"Why is the Cardinal attacking the Archbishop?"
"Did Archbishop Green Sky perhaps do something to betray the order…?"
Listening to the crowd whispering to each other below while staring up towards him filled with confusion, the Cardinal from the Order of the Sky God could not help frowning as his eyes narrowed even further while looking towards the bloody elderly man in the distance.
Whoosh~
Not wanting to waste any more time and fearing that the Soul Ascension Realm Expert from the Church of the Plague God might take action to save Archbishop Green Sky, the Cardinal from the Order of the Sky God directly disappeared from his location above the church before reappearing directly in front of the bloody old man on the brink of death.
Even though he had successfully managed to run for a short moment, he had still faced three attacks from a Soul Ascension Realm Expert head on. The fact that he was still alive was a testament to how powerful he was, something that just caused the Cardinal even more heartache.
"Archbishop Green Sky… I'm disappointed that things came to this… To think you would side with not only another god, but with an outsider…" Shaking his head while saying this, the Cardinal didn't give the old man any time to respond- Ñøvl--ß1n hosted the premiere release of this chapter.
Ptsh~
Directly using his strength to reduce the bloodied Archbishop Green Sky into a blood mist. Erasing any trace of his existence.
"With this… The Order of the Sky God here in the Sky Empire will at least need a few hundred years to recover from the loss of two Archbishops!"
Not feeling the slightest bit happy after the killing the mole planted by the church of the plague god, the Cardinal only felt a wave of sadness engulf him. Even if he had managed to deal with the mole, the Order of the Sky God's strength had been drastically reduced!
The three religious organisations in the Sky Empire each had a single expert at the Soul Ascension Realm at their core. Allowing them to mostly ignore the imperial family of the Sky Empire.
However, the thing that truly allowed them to manage a large territory of the Sky Empire and harvest a massive amount of faith from the people living there, was the Archbishop who controlled dozens of kingdoms outside the core of the Sky Empire.
Each of the three had five Archbishops and had perfectly split up the territory of the Sky Empire and decided who would be able establish a church in what kingdom.
Now with the Order of the Sky God losing two Archbishops, the Cardinal could easily predict that the Follower of the Fire God and the Cult of the Scarlet Moon would get even more agrresive when it came to taking over some of the kingdoms under the Order of the Sky God…
Even with him stepping in, there was no way to prevent the Order of the Sky God from losing at least a dozen or so kingdoms if those two decided to work together.
"For now, the best option should be to lay low until we can get two new Archbishops…" Muttering this to himself, the Cardinal quickly left the place before the people from the imperial family showed up to cause trouble for him after the damage, he had inevitably caused to the area just outside the imperial capital where he had attacked the fleeing Archbishop Green Sky.
…
Following the death of Archbishop Green Sky, things went exactly like the Cardinal from the Order of the Sky God had expected, as the two others quickly worked together to start taking away the kingdoms that had formerly been under the management of Archbishop Green Sky.
The Cardinal understood very well that there was nothing to do about it, as while he could step in to prevent the two from taking the kingdoms that had been under Archbishop Soft Breeze, this was only the case because he was just missing.
Archbishop Green Sky on the other hand… Had been killed by him and everyone had seen it happen, there was no way for him to prevent them from taking away the kingdoms that had once been under him and splitting them up among each other.
However, among all the major powers in the Sky Empire, the ones to benefit the most was the Church of the Plague God, as they successfully managed to convert half a dozen kingdoms in a short time the Cult of the Scarlet Moon and the Followers of the Fire God were busy trying to take away the kingdoms that had formerly belonged to the Order of the Sky God.
By the time they discovered what was happening, it was already too late, as the Church of the Plague God managed to successfully establish itself at the border of the inner region of the Sky Empire.
The only way that they would be able to expel the Church of the Plague God at this point in time, was if the heads of at least two of the religious organisations worked together to forcefully push out the Church of the Plague God.
Normally, this would have been something the three would not have hesitated in doing…
However, the Cult of the Scarlet Moon and the Followers of the Fire God, while they were working together and could push out the Church of the Plague God, they were not really on friendly terms with the Order of the Sky God at the moment…
If both of them left, there was no saying what the Cardinal from the Order of the Sky God would do to get revenge on them from taking away the kingdoms that had once been under his control.
Even worse, the location that the Church of the Plague God had established itself was only located next to kingdoms under the control of the Cult of the Scarlet Moon and the Followers of the Fire God!
All things considered; the Order of the Sky God would not lose anything from watching the two fights against the newly established Church of the Plague God…
On the other hand, the Church of the Plague God establishing themselves inside the Sky Empire might even be a good thing, as it would force the Cult of the Scarlet Moon and the Followers of the Fire God to move a large portion of their forces towards the kingdoms bordering the territory taken over by the Church of the Plague God.
Allowing the Order of the Sky God to hold on to a large portion of the kingdoms that had once been under the management of Archbishop Green Sky!
…
The imperial family also took advantage of this situation, as they prepared to call in the sect's they had invited across their Sky Empire earlier and hopefully form a Sect Alliance to weaken the three large religious organisations.
Now that a new religious organisation had appeared and the already established religious organisations had fallen out with each other. The Emperor of the Sky Empire hoped to use this situation to further weaken them!

614 Passing Time (4)
Back in the Flying Sword Sect, close to half a year had passed since the construction of the new main sect on the Seventh Star Peak began.
During this time, Xuan Hao had managed to learn a plethora of new techniques that he could teach his three disciples, while at the same time increasing his knowledge in the different professions that existed across the Ewaria Continent. Even learning about some of the more obscure professions that the Flying Sword Sect and the Spring Flower Sect had no experts in, like the art of tea and disguise.
The art of tea was especially something he was interested in and while trying his hand on it himself one time in the kitchen located inside his pavilion. Unfortunately, he was not really skilled when it came to tea brewing…
However, it was at this time that he happened to meet Zhi Ruo and after a short conversation on the topic of tea, he discovered that she had a talent when it came to the Art of Tea. Although she was not talented when it came to cultivation, Xuan Hao did not care much about this as she was not his disciple.
Wanting to have someone skilled in the art of tea around him, Xuan Hao decided to get some books on the art of tea for Zhi Ruo to train with, something she was more than happy to do, as practicing the art of tea brewing would not only allow her to improve the quality of the tea, she made but would also help her mind clear up and allow her to increase her cultivation over time.
"Thank you so much!"
Seeing the happy expression on Zhi Ruo's face after he handed over the stack of books filled with information on the art of tea, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a wave of happiness.
In the future, I should try and get a few more books on the art of tea if possible…
Thinking this to himself, Xuan Hao once again returned to his daily life of learning new techniques and teaching his three disciples. However, this time around, he would also spend some time together with Zhi Ruo to see how far she had improved in the art of tea brewing.
Like this, another half year passed by peacefully.
…
"Looks like the construction of the new main sect is finally about to be completed." After a little over a year of cultivating in peace at his pavilion and teaching his disciples, Xuan Hao stood up and stretched his body after a night of cultivating under the stars before looking in the direction of the Shattered Star Peaks.
Over the past year, his cultivation realm had not changed, and he was still in the Eighth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm.
The main reason for this, was the fact that he had dedicated most of his focus on comprehending his two domains in an attempt to merge the two together. Sadly, although he did make some progress and increased the strength of both his domains, he was still far away from merging them together into a single domain.
Given his current speed, he would most likely take five to ten years to successfully merge the two domains together without any help from external sources.
After he merged his Ice Domain and Sword Domain together, he would then be able to attempt a breakthrough into the Soul Ascension Realm!
As for reaching the Ninth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm? Xuan Hao didn't doubt that he would be able to do that before merging both of his domains together. Not to mention, the system could always reward him with an increase in cultivation and allow him to reach the Ninth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm…
At the moment, the quests he had active was the sect quest to increase the strength of the Flying Sword Sect, the quest related to Chu Yang's sense of direction that was most likely just asking him to help Chu Yang reach the Nascent Soul Realm and the one that wanted him to spread out interspatial rings across the world…
Among these three quests given by the system, the one related to the strength of the Flying Sword Sect did not increase his strength and would instead increase the strength of the sect. Given the Flying Sword Sect and the Spring Flower Sect would be officially a single sect after the completion of the new main sect, Xuan Hao expected to complete this quest after the completion of the new main sect.
The one related to Chu Yang and the quest wanting him to throw away interspatial rings were both a mystery, as both of them did not state what reward he would gain from completing them. An increase in cultivation could be one of the rewards, but it could also be something completely different.
Thinking about the limited time quest, Xuan Hao could not help smiling wryly as he pulled it up with the help of the system.
[Limited Time Quest: You have found a brilliant way to recruit new potential disciples! Scatter 1000 interspatial rings around the world. The system will add a specific test to the ring that will test the potential future disciples. Interspatial Rings will only be counted towards the quest if they are scattered a certain distance away from each other. Timer will begin upon reaching the Domain Lord Realm!]
[Time: 8.6 years]
[1097/1000]
[Reward: vary depending on the amount of successfully scattered interspatial rings]
In a sense he had already completed the quest, but it seemed like he would not be able to get a reward before the timer ended and it looked like he would have to make more interspatial rings to throw away for a better reward. The only problem was… The Moon Silver he had used to make interspatial rings had run out!
It had lasted for a far longer time that he had expected, but in the end, he was now left with nothing to make new interspatial rings whenever he had time to waste…
"Hah… Looks like I will have to find some more Moon Silver in the future, or at least something comparable to it that can be used for interspatial rings if I want to try and get a better reward from the system…" Muttering this to himself, Xuan Hao inevitably thought about Yi Min.
Given the number of spiritual metals in her possession, she would surely have a few suitable for making interspatial rings with-
Hm? Who is it?
Whoosh~
Suddenly noticing an unfamiliar elder approaching his pavilion, Xuan Hao frowned before moving to the front of the pavilion to meet the elder who was coming.
…
"Did something happen?"
"Ah! Elder Xuan?! Y-you gave me a shock. Appearing in front of me like that… No nothing serious happened, I just came here on behalf of myself and a few other elders who wanted to join your quarterly lecture that is starting in a few hours!
You don't have to worry about us interrupting your lecture! All of us will be completely silent and will just listen on the side without saying anything." Almost jumping into the air upon seeing Xuan Hao suddenly appear in front of him, the elder quickly explained his reason for showing up. Making sure to explain he was here on behalf of not only himself but a group of elders.
Ah… That's right, there is also the repeatable sect quest… Because it was once every 3 months, I decided to get Elder Song's help in arranging the lectures and helping select the participants for me. Ñøvl--ß1n hosted the premiere release of this chapter.
If I'm not wrong, this time around, the lecture should be for the older disciples in the Foundation Establishment and Core Formation Realm who won in a tournament set up by Elder Song… No wonder these elders want to join in as well, they want to listen to Core Formation Realm part of the lecture!
Thinking this to himself, Xuan Hao could not help smiling. The elders of the Flying Sword Sect might be a bit lazy when it came to certain things, but when it came down to it, they still wanted to improve their cultivation.
Maybe holding a lecture for the Core Formation Realm Elders in the future is a good idea… I should ask Elder Song about this later.
"Sure, you and the other elders are welcome to join."
"Thank you! I will go and inform the others as quickly as possible!"
Not seeing any reason to refuse the elder, Xuan Hao chuckled silently to himself as he watched the elder excitedly run down the mountain before rushing towards a group of elders anxiously waiting not too far away from his mountain.
Following the elder returning with the news of them being able to listen in on the lecture if they remained silent, the group of elders all jumped up excitedly before praising the elder who had ventured up the mountain to ask him.
It was a quite heart-warming thing to witness the old elders acting like this…
Last timeskip chapter, will get an update on disciples soon. Unfortunatly... I will once again have to undergo the daily struggle of finding a chapter title... xD

Chapter 615: Passing Time (1)
"So, which of the Star peaks do you think would be the best place to build on…?" Finishing his tour of the Shattered Star Peaks together with Shu Yao, Feng Chen, and Zu Fei, Xuan Hao turned around and asked this.
Not thinking about it as deeply as Shu Yao and Feng Chen, Zu Fei directly answered Xuan Hao's question-This chapter was first shared on the Ñøvlß1n platform.
Over the next few days, Shu Yao, Feng Chen, and Zu Fei worked together on preparing the elders below and the workers for the construction of the new main sect.
Only after being chased all over the place for close to three weeks was, he lucky enough to encounter a Nascent Soul Realm Expert from the Spring Flower Sect making her wat towards the Shattered Star Peaks who helped him out, who easily dealt with the group of Core Formation Realm demonic cultivators.
Thinking about it, it seemed like Chu Yang and the young master he had encountered did not interact with each other and had merely passed by one another, a rather lucky considering that Chu Yang had no way to contact him in case the powerful expert behind the young master found by the system showed up…

Chapter 616: Passing Time (2)
As time passed, things were calm in the Flying Sword Sect, Xuan Hao spending most of his time teaching his three disciples, while at the same time learning all kinds of new techniques and skills.
The people who ended up most against this sudden branch of elders appearing was the elders belonging to the stables looking after the demon beasts… As they once again felt a massive decrease in the spiritual stones available to them…
All things considered.
Whoosh~!Unravel the Unknown, Unleash the Unimaginable: NvεlB¡n.

Chapter 617: Passing Time (3)
"Hm? How interesting looks like something a one time use protective seal left behind by a someone in the Soul Ascension Realm… However, do you really think you can escape with this?" Not the slightest bit worried upon seeing his attempt to catch the escaping Archbishop fail, the Cardinal just narrowed his eyes before attacking again-
"No-!"

The initial posting of this chapter occurred via noovelllbbin
Now that a new religious organisation had appeared and the already established religious organisations had fallen out with each other. The Emperor of the Sky Empire hoped to use this situation to further weaken them!

Chapter 618: Passing Time (4)
Back in the Flying Sword Sect, close to half a year had passed since the construction of the new main sect on the Seventh Star Peak began.
…
"Looks like the construction of the new main sect is finally about to be completed." After little over a year of cultivating in peace at his pavilion and teaching his disciples, Xuan Hao stood up and stretched his body after a night of cultivating under the stars before looking in the direction of the Shattered Star Peaks.
Not to mention, the system could always reward him with an increase in cultivation and allow him to reach the Ninth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm…Ñøvl--ß1n hosted the premiere release of this chapter.

Chapter 619: Passing Time (5)
Knowing that he would be holding another lecture soon, Xuan Hao could not help wondering what he would get this time around.
During the past year, he had held a total of three lectures.
The first one he had chosen the spiritual herb reward like he had done the first time around. Unfortunately, he had not gotten any spiritual herb that could help Elder Song recover from the injuries he had suffered from refining the demonic medicinal potion for over 10 years straight…
However, this did not mean the spiritual herbs he had gotten was bad in any way, as although they were not what he had been looking for, they were still incredibly rare spiritual herbs that could not be found easily.
For the second reward, he had decided to choose something different and had ended up getting rewarded with a Peak Earth Rank Qi Technique called Fire Dragon Sword.
Even if it was mostly useless to him as the technique was suitable for Core Formation Realm and Nascent Soul Realm Experts, it still helped him improve his sword domain after learning it.The initial posting of this chapter occurred via noovelllbbin
In the end, one of his domains was a sword domain. Learning more sword techniques would help improve it. Even if the technique he learned was low level, it could still help him improve his understanding of the sword dao and in turn increase the strength of his domain!
For this reason, the thing he had spent most of his time on during the past year, was learning all the sword techniques inside the Flying Sword Sect that he could get his hands on.
Not to mention, after he had learnt the Fire Dragon Sword, he could give it to the Flying Sword Sect and in turn help increase the number of techniques available for Core Formation Realm Experts and Nascent Soul Realm Experts of the sect.
After all, even if the Flying Sword Sect had a large number of both Earth Rank and Heaven Rank Qi Techniques compared to other sects on their level, the number was still miniscule when considering how few in the Flying Sword Sect could actually learn these techniques.
By far, one of the most important things when it came to learning a new qi technique was affinity with the technique itself! If one had no affinity with the qi technique, one could only give up on learning it and go on to the next…
More qi techniques meant that there was a higher chance of finding a suitable one to learn for the elders in the Core Formation Realm.
In turn, learning a powerful Earth Rank Qi Technique might help these elders who remained stuck in the Core Formation Realm gain some insight into the Nascent Soul Realm and breakthrough!
From this, it could be seen how important it was for the Flying Sword Sect to get more qi techniques at the Earth Rank!
Feng Chen, Shu Yao, Elder Song, and the rest of the elders from both of the sects also realized this, as they had already begun moving their cultivation mantras and qi techniques to a massive new library at the Seventh Star Peak where the techniques of both the sects would be gathered in the future!
At this point in time, the Fire Dragon Sword technique he had gotten from the system had already been placed inside this new library at the Seventh Star Peak and quite a few elders from both the Flying Sword Sect and the Spring Flower Sect had already begun learning it. Allowing them to show signs of improving in their cultivation after having been stagnant for a long time.
For this reason, Xuan Hao had decided to also choose a qi technique for the third reward and was given a Peak Earth Rank Qi Technique called the Green Flower Barrier. The Green Flower Barrier was pretty useless to him, but the same could not be said for the elders, as the elders from the Spring Flower Sect were especially interested in this Qi Technique.
From what he heard, there was even a Nascent Soul Realm elder from the Spring Flower Sect that chose to learn the Green Flower Barrier after it was put into the library at the Seventh Star Peak. Not anything odd considering a Peak Earth Rank Qi Technique could only be fully utilized by someone in the Nascent Soul Realm.
Looking for a spiritual herb that could help Elder Song recover the damage to his soul was simply not something that could be done with the reward from the lecture sect quest, as it seemed like the rewards were limited within a certain range. Spiritual Herbs at the Mystic Grade could not be obtained, and Qi Techniques above the Earth Rank were similarly not something that could be gained through a simple repeatable quest.
However, even if the rewards from the repeatable sect quest was not something that was useful to improving his own cultivation realm most of the time… Or helping Elder Song recover, it was still more than enough to help improve the overall strength of the Flying Sword Sect's elders. Maybe even helping create more Nascent Soul Realm elders for the sect in the future.
Thinking about this, Xuan Hao could not help wondering if there would be more repeatable quests in the future. Although they were not that useful when it came to improving his own strength, they were perfect when it came to increasing the strength of the Flying Sword Sect.
"Hm?" Suddenly feeling a familiar presence approaching him from the entrance to the pavilion, Xuan Hao soon saw Chu Yang coming out before moving directly towards him.
"Chu Yang, what is it?" Seeing Chu Yang come over all of a sudden, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a bit curious. From what he remembered; he did not have any lesson planned with him today.
Could it perhaps be that he wants to go outside again…?
"Master, can I join you for the lecture today?" However, contrary to what Xuan Hao had expected Chu Yang to ask him, Chu Yang just came out to ask about him joining the lecture he was holding for the older disciples of the Flying Sword Sect today.
Given that he was planning to also talk about the Core Formation Realm, it was not a waste of time for him to participate in the lecture.
"Sure, you can come with me if you want." Not seeing any reason to refuse his disciple's request, Xuan Hao agreed without any resistance.
"Thank you master!"
Following Chu Yang deciding to follow along and join his lecture, Xuan Hao spent the next few hours leading up to the lecture teaching Qing Yi the Dragon Fire Sword.
With Qing Yi being skilled in both the sword and having a connection to the dao of fire through her divine physique, she easily managed to master the beginner part of the Dragon Fire Sword.
Going to the lecture together with Chu Yang, Xuan Hao spent the rest of the day on the lecture. Only finishing late into the evening when the sun had already started moving down behind the mountains surrounding the Flying Sword Sect.
The lecture itself was a major success and was by far the best lecture he had held so far. The main reason for this, was the fact that three of the older disciples participating in the lecture at the Peak of the Foundation Establishment Realm had managed to break through to the Core Formation Realm!
At the moment, the strongest disciples of the Flying Sword Sect were the core disciples. Different from the personal disciples of the elders that had varying degrees of power depending on their master.
Not to mention, each and every core disciple of the Flying Sword Sect had reached the Core Formation Realm and could, as the name suggested, be considered to be the core of the Flying Sword Sect!
Each of them would be the future elders of the Flying Sword Sect when they gained enough experience and grew stronger in the Core Formation Realm.
One lecture creating three more core disciples was a major thing in the Flying Sword Sect and instantly caused the reputation of Xuan Hao to reach a new level.
Although not comparable to Elder Song, his reputation in the Flying Sword Sect had already reached a height far above the rest of the Core Elders and some of the younger disciples had even started referring to him as either the Supreme Elder or Ancestor…!
Heck, he was not even thirty years old, yet these disciples had already started calling him ancestor…
The fact that his strength was at the Domain Lord Realm, while the rest of the Core Elders of the Flying Sword Sect was still at the Nascent Soul Realm, was something that had ended up causing some confusion to the disciples who just joined the sect.
In the end, Elder Song contacted Feng Chen about it and together with Shu Yao, the three of them decided that a new position was necessary for Xuan Hao.
At the same time, they also decided to change the current hierarchy of the Flying Sword Sect and the Spring Flower Sect would have to be changed to a brand new one, as both sects ran on a system that was different.

Chapter 620: New Sect Quest, Unique Cultivation Mantra
Following the end of his lecture, Xuan Hao was completely unaware of the shock he had ended up causing to both the disciples and elders of the sect. Instead, the thing Xuan Hao was focused on was what reward he should choose after finishing his lecture.
So… A random Qi Technique again, or maybe I should try something different this time around…?
As he had already chosen to get Qi Techniques three times in a row from the system, Xuan Hao could not help feeling curious about the other rewards. Especially the specialized cultivation mantra that the was among the rewards he could choose from.
From what he understood, a specialized cultivation mantra should be something that solely focused on one element, similar to Qing Yi's Heaven Burning Mantra that was solely focused on the Dao of Fire and would help Qing Yi condense a fire domain in the future when she broke through to the Domain Lord Realm.
"Chu Yang, what do you think our sect is currently lacking? Qi Techniques or a wider array of cultivation mantras?" Not knowing what to choose, Xuan Hao decided to ask Chu Yang walking beside him.
Given that Chu Yang was more active when it came to talking with other disciples inside the sect, he should have some idea about what the sect disciples would gain the most benefit of.
"What the sect is lacking? The sect is not really lacking any Qi Techniques if you are talking about the disciples below the Core Formation Realm… If I had to say anything, we have quite a small number of cultivation mantras at the Earth Rank and above. Not to mention, most of those techniques are sword based.
Although this is fine as the sect's fundamental cultivation mantra is rather easy to learn, there are still some born with talents in certain elements that can't progress through this path and will have to choose an inferior cultivation mantra because the sect doesn't have any at the Earth Rank that fits them…" Finishing his long answer, Chu Yang turned his attention towards his master.
"…"
Even from a glance, Xuan Hao could tell that he was curious about why he had suddenly asked him such a question.
"I was asking because, I wanted to gather some new qi techniques and mantras for the sect in the near future and was wondering which of the two was more urgent. From what you say, it seems like I will have to focus on getting my first-hand more cultivation mantras first!"
"I see! It will indeed be great if we can get some more cultivation mantras in the future! I'm sure the disciples stuck practicing a cultivation mantra not fitting for them will be happy if they find out master is planning to gather some of the cultivation mantras that the sect is lacking!" Nodding his head in understanding after hearing what his master said, Chu Yang could not help feeling excited thinking about a few friends he had made in the sect that were lacking a proper cultivation mantra to practice.
"Yeah… I'm sure they will. Let's get back to the pavilion for now." Feeling the all too familiar notification coming from the system after Chu Yang had finished speaking, Xuan Hao understood that his short conversation had ended up triggering a brand-new quest.
Whoosh~
For this reason, Xuan Hao used his domain and quickly flew both of them back to the pavilion instead of walking back.
Now that he had gotten a new quest from the system, he really wanted to find out what it was.
…
Returning back to his own room inside the pavilion, Xuan Hao did not immediately choose a reward for the repeatable quest and instead pulled up the system interface to check out the new quest he had gotten after his conversation with Chu Yang.
[Sect Quest: Gather Unique Cultivation Mantras for the Sect.]
[Description: The sect is lacking when it comes to the different cultivation mantras available for the disciples. Gather 10 unique cultivation mantras. Not one can be the same and all of them have to at least reach the Earth Rank.]
[Unique Cultivation Mantras: 0/10]
[Reward: Enter a State of Enlightenment for one hour.]
Although the quest in itself was not that easy to complete, it had no time limit, and he should be able to complete it using the repeatable sect quest. Even if it would take him some time, he should be able to complete in a few years.
The only confusing thing about the sect quest, was the reward…
Enter a state of enlightenment…? Xuan Hao had no idea what this meant!
The only thing he could think of was the source crystal he had consumed when breaking through to the Domain Lord Realm… Could it be that the state of enlightenment was similar to when one consumed a source crystal?
If that was really the case, it might be able to help him figure out a way to merge his ice and sword domain together!
Thinking this far, Xuan Hao could not help feeling excited as he wanted to complete the sect quest immediately and enter a state of enlightenment to figure out how he could merge his two domains together and have a clear path to the Soul Ascension Realm!
However, he also understood that something like that was impossible, as he had no idea where to get so many new and unique cultivation mantras for the Flying Sword Sect outside of the repeatable sect quest that could only be completed once every three months.
Robbing the cultivation mantras from the sects under the Flying Sword Sect was not really an option either, as there was a high chance that the Flying Sword Sect already had a cultivation mantra similar to it. Meaning that their cultivation mantras would not be unique be a new unique cultivation mantra.
If he wanted to rob cultivation mantras, he would most likely have to go outside the territory of what had once been the Heavenly Sky Kingdom or rob a stronger sect like the Seven Fates Sect…
However, given that the sect master of the Seven Fates Sect had reached the Domain Lord Realm according to Shu Yao, Xuan Hao did not really want to unnecessarily fall out with them for something he could simply wait a few months longer for.
After all, even if he managed to find a way to merge his ice and sword domain together, he would still have to first reach the Ninth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm before he would be able to attempt breaking through to the Soul Ascension Realm!
There is no hurry for now and I'm not even certain about what the reward really is in the first place! What if it isn't like the source crystal and instead something completely different?
Shaking his head as this thought occurred to him, Xuan Hao did not bother thinking about a way to complete the new sect quest quicker and instead decided to just take things slowly and complete it with the help of his repeatable sect quest.
[Chosen reward: Specialized Cultivation Mantra?]
[Y/N]Unravel the Unknown, Unleash the Unimaginable: NvεlB¡n.
Yes!
Swish~
[Unique Cultivation Mantras: 1/10]
Choosing the specialized cultivation mantra as a reward for the repeatable quest, Xuan Hao watched a small book materialize in the air in front of him, while the sect quest for gathering unique cultivation mantras went up from 0 to 1.
Even though it was still a long way from being completed, Xuan Hao felt happy knowing that his guess was indeed correct, and the repeatable sect quest could help him complete this brand-new sect quest.
"Hm… I wonder what kind of cultivation mantra this is…" Turning his attention away from the system, Xuan Hao curious looked down at the small book that had manifested in front of him.
"Dark Shadow Demon Mantra… Why does this feel like a demonic cultivation mantra…?" Reading the name of the cultivation mantra, Xuan Hao could not help frowning as he muttered this to himself.
Dark Shadow Demon Mantra, this sounded exactly like a demonic cultivation mantra no matter how he looked at it!
Whoosh~
Grabbing hold of the cultivation mantra still floating in front of him with the help of his domain, Xuan Hao quickly looked through it.
Reading through the Dark Shadow Demon Mantra over the next few minutes, Xuan Hao could not help putting down the cultivation mantra with a shocked expression on his face.
"Dark Shadow Demon Mantra… Dark Shadow Demon Mantra… To think this is actually not a demonic cultivation mantra, but instead a cultivation mantra focused on cultivating a rare form of spiritual qi that only appears during the night…"
Indeed, the Dark Shadow Demon Mantra was not a demonic cultivation mantra like he had expected but was instead a cultivation mantra specialized in cultivating a special qi that only formed during the night!
Not to mention this… It also required the user to have a special physique called the Dark Shadow Demon Physique!
The system was indeed not wrong that this was a unique cultivation mantra!
To be honest, Xuan Hao wondered if anyone in the Flying Sword Sect could even practice such a unique cultivation mantra in the first place…

Chapter 621 Fooled by...
"Everyone, there is nothing to see here for now, you can go back to what you were doing before!" Having realized why so many people had gathered around to see what was happening, Xuan Hao was about to say something when Shu Yao beat him to it.
Following what Shu Yao said, although reluctant to leave without finding out about what had happened to the centre of the Seventh Star Peak, the elders and disciples understood the intention behind what Shu Yao said, as all of them soon left the area. Leaving behind only Shu Yao, Zu Fei, and Feng Chen.
"So… Elder Xuan, would you mind explaining what this is about...?" Seeing that the elders and disciples had left, Zu Fei was the first one to step forward and ask about what he had done to the centre of the Seventh Star Peak with a smile on her lips.
"As you can see, I transformed the centre of the Seventh Star Peak into a lake to hold this water for future use and at the same time to serve as a special place for both elders and disciples to come and cultivate…." Feeling a shiver run down his spine for some reason when facing Zu Fei, Xuan Hao quickly brushed the feeling aside as he began explaining his reason for suddenly making such a large lake, while also remembering to motion towards the water spewing out from the 6 different qi springs below him.
"Indeed… This water is really useful for helping when it comes to cultivation!" Having already made her way down into the empty lake that was slowly being filled up by the 6 qi springs during his explanation, Shu Yao nodded her head as she carefully pulled up some of the water before inspecting it.
Even if she didn't have enough time to thoroughly inspect the water, she could still understand just how useful it was for improving the strength of the sect. Especially so given that the 6 origin points of the water seemed to have no intention of stopping any time soon.
"What Shu Yao says is indeed true, I'm sure both the elders and disciples will be delighted when they hear about this… Not to mention, the presence of the lake might make it easier to convince some of the older elders who are reluctant to leave to come over the Seventh Star Peak in the future!" Arriving shortly after Shu Yao, Feng Chen agreed with what she said, as he had already begun planning on how to use it for the benefit of the sect.
"…"
The only person who didn't say anything after arriving at the bottom of the empty lake already covered by a thin layer of qi rich water, was Zu Fei, who instead narrowed her eyes before picking up some water from the ground similar to what Shu Yao had done.
"Is something wrong?" Noticing this odd behaviour from Zu Fei, Xuan Hao asked this in a confused tone. Not understanding why Zu Fei's reaction was so different from the other two.
"Ah! It's probably because she had planned to build a flower pavilion to nurture spiritual flowers here… Before… You essentially turned it into a massive hole in the ground…" Answering before Zu Fei, Feng Chen smiled wryly after saying this.
"…"
At the same time Feng Chen explained this to Xuan Hao, Zu Fei's eyes narrowed even further, as her attention turned away from the water held in the palm of her hand before landing on Feng Chen.
"I see… I'm sorry…" Not knowing what to say as he had no idea Zu Fei already had plans for the centre of the Seventh Star Peak, Xuan Hao could only awkwardly apologies.
Given that he had already placed down the qi springs, Xuan Hao had no idea what to-
"Ah! How about this, you can build a pavilion on top of the lake and use the lake to grow spiritual water lotus flowers and water lilies? Although the deeper parts of the lake is too deep for this, the shallow areas around the edge of the lake should be a great location for this!" Having come up with the idea, Xuan Hao looked towards Zu Fei as he watched her narrowed eyes relax before a thinking look appeared on her face.
"Hm… Given the quality of the water… Growing water lotus flowers and lilies would indeed be a great idea. Given the high quantity of qi in the water, they should also come out as fairly high quality when finished growing up…" Muttering this to herself as she continued to look around the empty lake slowly filling up and the thin layer of water covering the bottom slowly rising, Zu Fei soon nodded her head with a satisfied expression on her face before turning towards Xuan Hao.
"This sounds like a great idea… I just hope you will stop Elder Song from using the water here before it fills up enough for me to start growing lotus flowers and water lilies!"
"That is fine with me, I'm sure Elder Song will understand and hold back with whatever event he ends up coming up with after seeing this place." Smiling happily after seeing that Zu Fei was satisfied, Xuan Hao could not help cursing the elders he had asked about the plans for the centre of the Seventh Star Peak just minutes earlier.
All of them had told him that no one had anything planned, yet it turned out that Zu Fei already had planned out something for the centre of the Seventh Star Peak… And looking at how upset she had looked, Xuan Hao understood that it should be something that she had been looking forward to making.
At least everything ended well, as Shu Yao would end up making a pavilion close to the edge of the lake, where she would grow and harvest both water lotus flowers and lilies in the future.
The use of these spiritual flowers was a complete mystery to him, as even with the knowledge he had gained through the help of the system, he still had no idea what the use of those two spiritual flowers were.
The only reason why he had even thought about these two rather unique spiritual flowers, was because he had once seen Zu Fei caring for a few of them she had kept in a small pond back at the Flying Sword Sect.
Back then, he had asked one of the elders about these two special spiritual flowers and had ended up learning that they were by far the most precious spiritual flower that the Flying Sword Sect produced and sold for spirit stones. The only producer and person who could take care of these delicate spiritual flowers was Zu Fei!
Something rather shocking to him back then, as Zu Fei's normal behaviour… Was rather violent and if he had not seen it for himself, he would never believe she could take care of such delicate spiritual flowers.
"That's great! Then I will get to planning and make sure to get the pavilion built before the water rises any further and makes it difficult to construct!"
Hit with a new wave of energy after hearing Xuan hao agree to her request, Zu Fei no longer looked upset and was instead extremely excited-
Whoosh-!
Leaving the empty lake with renewed energy without saying anything more.
"Looks like you will have to talk to Elder Song about this soon… From what I know about that old man, there is no way he would give up on using this water before it fills up this place…"
"…"
Hearing what Feng Chen said just after Zu Fei left, Xuan Hao could not help frowning as he felt like he had somehow been fooled by Zu Fei into doing something rather troublesome for her.
Not to mention convincing Elder Song to not use the water before the lake filled up, Xuan Hao had a feeling that the old man might just sneak in and take some away while he was not looking.
Although the sight of Elder Song stealing the qi rich water would be a rather entertaining sight to behold, Xuan Hao understood that if Elder Song really did something like that after finding out how useful it was for the disciples and elders, and it ended up getting out… Xuan Hao had a feeling that this would not have a negative impact on his reputation and would instead only serve to improve it even further!Immerse Yourself in the Storyverse: NvεlB¡n.
"Haaaa… I will have to take my leave... It looks like I will have to have a small chat with Elder Song about this place…" Shaking his head as he said this, Xuan Hao soon waved goodbye to Shu Yao and Feng Chen before making his way back towards the Flying Sword Sect.
Officially, he had planned to go to the Main Star Peak and finish exploring, but now that would have to wait for a few hours as he first had to convince Elder Song about the virtues of waiting to reap the rewards at a later date…

Chapter 622 Spirit Chess
Returning back to the Flying Sword Sect, Xuan Hao quickly found Elder Song just having finished talking with a group of elders in the Flying Sword City located just outside the sect, as he was making his way back.
Even without knowing what he had been talking about, Xuan Hao could easily guess that it had something to do with what would happen with the Flying Sword City now that most of the people from the Flying Sword Sect, except a few people left to manage the old sect, would be leaving soon.
Given the fact that most of the people living inside the Flying Sword City were all somewhat related to someone from the Flying Sword Sect, there was no way Elder Song wouldn't come up with a way to possibly move these people to the new and growing city located at the base of the Ninth Star Peak.
Although the city located at the base of the Ninth Star Peak was still far smaller than the current Flying Sword City and there was no way for it to house if everyone from the Flying Sword City moved over there… Not to mention, the Spring Flower Sect would most likely also be in a similar situation!
If the city at the base of the Ninth Star Peak wanted to house both all these people, it would have to at least grow to twice the size of the current Flying Sword City… Something that would at least take a few years. Even with the current speed that the city was growing.
Whoosh~
Not bothering to think too much about this, as Elder Song should have already thought about a solution for this problem, Xuan Hao descended from the sky and landed a few meters in front of Elder Song who had just stepped into the Flying Sword Sect.
"Elder Xuan? Is there something I can help with?"
Seeing Xuan Hao suddenly appear in front of him, Elder Song was not surprised and instead just showed a curious expression while asking him. Wondering why Xuan Hao had come to see him.
"Actually, I do have to something to talk to you about… Can we go to my pavilion and talk…?" Thinking that it would be taking quite some time to convince Elder Song, Xuan Hao said this as he signalled towards his pavilion barely visible in the distance.
"Hm? Sure, let's get going!" Feeling that it might be something serious after hearing what Xuan Hao said, Elder Song quickly put on a serious face before both of them headed towards Xuan Hao's pavilion.
What followed, could easily be considered the most painful time in Xuan Hao's life so far, as he informed him about the qi rich water before trying his best to convince him about not using it for the next few months…
In the end, Song Jia who just so happened to be currently staying at his pavilion to play with Qing Yi. Ended up being his saviour, as she overheard their discussion and jumped in to help him convince Elder Song to hold back on using the qi rich water for the next few months!
For some reason, with Song Jia's help, Elder Song had almost instantaneously agreed to not using the qi rich water before it had filled up the lake… Song Jia truly had far more power over Elder Song compared to him…
If not for Song Jia's help, Xuan Hao was almost certain that he would have been unable to convince Elder Song!
After he had managed to convince Elder Song through Song Jia's help, Xuan Hao didn't stay at the Flying Sword Sect for long. Spending a short time playing together with both Song Jia and Qing Yi, who were playing a game called spirit chess.
The game itself was similar to the chess he already knew when it was just two people playing. However, it was still different from the chess he knew, a simple example would be the fact that the pieces got all sorts of special abilities, one of which was called hell storm that would cause a small fire to sweep through the board it was played on and reduce any pieces in its path to dust…
"Well, I will have to get going, I still have something to do back at the Shattered Star Peaks-"
"Master… Are you just saying this because you lost…?"
About to take his leave, Xuan Hao could not help frowning upon hearing what his disciple said.
Looking down at the spirit chess board that showed a complete victory for one side, while the other had been completely erased without even taking a single of the victor's pieces, Xuan Hao could not help feeling his frown deepen even further.
"Ah, don't leave yet, I promise I will not win too quickly next time!"
Hearing Song Jia saying this as she jumped in from the side and looked towards him with a pitiful expression, Xuan Hao had no idea what to say as he felt like a sword had been stabbed through his chest for some reason.
"No, I have to go, if I delay any further, it might cause problems for the rest of the elders!"
Swish-!
Not giving Qing Yi and Song Jia any time to respond, Xuan Hao flew into the sky and disappeared after saying this.
For some reason, he had a feeling that saying for any longer would end up being seriously damaging to his mental state.
…
Having made his way back to the Shattered Star Peaks, Xuan Hao did not go back to the Seventh Star Peak, but instead headed directly for the Main Star Peak.
Back when he had created the chaotic qi formation, he had sealed off the Main Star Peak and the Second Star Peak with it. The main reason why he had sealed the Second Star Peak, was because not only was it dangerous, but he also didn't really want anyone to know about the blue divine energy present there.
After all, given his current strength, he had a feeling that the people who could potentially be interested in absorbing something like the blue divine energy… Would be far stronger than himself!
The Main Star Peak on the other hand not only had the large rock filled with the blue divine energy that had most likely been the reason for the other eight star peaks current conditions, but there was also the fact that he had not explored the place fully yet.
The formation he had been trapped inside of the first time he made his way onto the Main Star Peak, the winged lion demon beast and the pagoda, was more than enough for him to understand that someone should have stayed on top of the Main Star Peak in the past… And that person had most likely been the target of the huge rock filled with blue divine energy!
Even if that person was no longer alive, Xuan Hao did not doubt the fact that all kinds of dangers could still be present on the Main Star Peak. For this reason, he had left back then without exploring any further.
Now that he could be considered to have enough strength to fight against someone at the Peak of the Domain Lord Realm, Xuan Hao wanted to try and explore this place again!
If things ended up getting too dangerous, he could always leave and come back later when his strength had increased even further.
Whoosh~
With this thought in mind, Xuan Hao passed through the thin barrier formed around the Main Star Peak by the massive rock filled with blue divine energy.Ñøvl--ß1n hosted the premiere release of this chapter.
Rustle~
Landing on the ground beside the massive rock filled with the blue divine energy, Xuan Hao narrowed his eyes as the bush not too far away from him suddenly began moving before a familiar figure appeared in front of him.
"You are… The blue deer from back then…?" Muttering this, Xuan Hao watched the familiar looking blue deer happily stomping the ground before running over to him.
Thump Thump!
It was only when the blue deer had made it all the way over to him that Xuan Hao realized that it had already grown many times larger compared to when he had last seen it.
If it had been only half a meter in height before, it was now over one meter in height! The growth rate of the blue deer was simply incredible. Especially considering the fact that it had not only grown in height, but its cultivation realm had also increased. Reaching the Core Formation Realm!
Not only that, but he also noticed that a small pair of antlers had appeared on top of its head.
"Hm?"
Looking even more closely, Xuan Hao discovered that small dragon-like scales had appeared all over its body…
Why do I have a feeling that you are not just a blue deer…?
Thinking this to himself, Xuan Hao soon shook his head. Even if he wanted to find out what race the blue deer in front of him belonged to, he had no way to find out.

Chapter 623 Blue Deer's Fate
Thump Thump!
"Hm? What's wrong little one?" Lost in thought as he was inspecting the scales that had suddenly appeared on the blue dear together with the small antlers, Xuan Hao was brought back from his thoughts as the blue dear stomped its hooves on the ground to catch his attention.
Rustle~ Thump!
"You want me to follow you?" Seeing the blue dear suddenly move towards the bushes it had emerged from before doing what could only be described as a 'follow me' signal, Xuan Hao saw no reason to refuse it.
After all, last time he had followed the blue dear to help it deal with the winged lion demon beast, he had ended up getting a quest and a pet Domain Lord Realm demon beast!
Rustle~
Noticing that Xuan Hao was following it, the blue dear did not wait around any longer, as it rushed into the bushes it had emerged from before rushing in a certain direction inside the small forest that surrounded the massive rock filled with the blue divine energy.
Swish-!
Following after the blue dear for what seemed like hours, Xuan Hao could not help frowning as he once again had a feeling that he was trapped in some sort of formation that twisted space like he had been when he had first tried exploring the Main Star Peak in the past.
However, after looking around and trying his best to feel his surroundings with his domain, Xuan Hao realized that nothing was wrong with the environment around him and the space around him was far too stable for any formation to be messing with it to trap him in some sort of loop
Realizing this, Xuan Hao felt even more curious about just how big the Main Star Peak truly was. Even if he wasn't completely certain as of yet, Xuan Hao had already deduced that the Main Star Peak should be located in some sort of pocket dimension of sorts similar to a secret realm.
The only difference was that the Main Peak was not located somewhere in the void outside the world he was a part of but was instead integrated into the world in some sort of way that he failed to understand with his current comprehension of space.
Shaking his head as he thought about this, Xuan Hao understood just how powerful the past owner of the Main Star Peak should have been. Even if the person was not above the Soul Ascension realm, that person should at the very least have been far stronger than the current Soul Ascension Realm Experts from the Sky Empire.
After all, from what he could gather so far from the information through the book Yi Min had given to him, the current emperor of the Sky Empire should have only reached the Soul Ascension Realm a short time ago and hadn't broken through again since then, while the ancestor was rumoured to be a minor realm above that.
Xuan Hao had no idea how true it was, but at the very least, he could tell that it should not be too far from the truth, as the current position of the Sky Empire on the Ewaria Continent was considered average among the different empires that inhabited the central parts of the continent.
Thump!
Watching as the blue deer running in front of him suddenly came to a stop, Xuan Hao felt confused for a short moment before noticing what was in front of it.
"This is... Your father...?" Recognizing the massive blue deer laying on the ground in front of him as the father of the blue deer demon beast that he had seen back when he had first encountered the blue deer, Xuan Hao could not help showing a surprised expression before starting to inspect it.
Given that the massive blue deer had not moved at all since his arrival, Xuan Hao could not help feeling something was wrong as he watched the small blue deer nudging the massive blue deer without getting any response from it, as it remained still on the ground without moving.
"Haaaa..." After a short scan with his divine sense, Xuan Hao could not help letting out a sorrowful sigh, as he realized that the massive blue deer in front of him was not breathing and had the Nascent Soul that should be present inside its body given that it was a demon beast in the Nascent Soul Realm, was absent.
From all of this, Xuan Hao did not take long to realize that the massive blue deer demon beast that had been in the Nascent Soul Realm the last time he saw it was dead!
Not to mention this, but there wasn't the slightest sign of fighting or resistance present in the surrounding area and there were also no wounds present on its body!
"..."
Looking back towards the blue deer still trying its best to wake up its father, Xuan Hao had no idea what to say or how to explain the current situation to the young blue deer. Even if he told it what had happened to its father, there was no way he could be certain that it would even be able to fully understand him in the first place!
But... What killed the blue deer? The winged demon beast that was most likely behind the mother of the blue deer's death was already taken away by me! Given that it had reached the Nascent Soul Realm, it should be able to stay safe as long as it didn't venture into any dangerous areas on the Main Star Peak... Or perhaps... It was not the winged demon beast that killed the blue deer's mother, but something different!
Frowning even further as he thought about this, Xuan Hao could not help narrowing his eyes as his domain spread out and covered a few hundred meters around him.
From the condition of the massive blue deer, he could tell that it had been killed instantaneously without any chance to fight back.
The massive blue deer was at the Peak of the Nascent Soul Realm when he had last seen it, so for something to be able to instantaneously kill it without any chance of resistance, the enemy should at least have reached the Fourth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm. Maybe even beyond that...!
Against an unknown opponent that was at least in the Fourth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm and likely even stronger than that, Xuan Hao didn't dare to be the slightest be careless, as he full well understood that even if he was far stronger than someone at similar realm to himself, it would all be for naught if the opponent managed to land a fatal attack on him while his guard was down.
Even if he managed to win in the end, he would likely be forced to spend dozens if not longer recovering after such a fight... Not something he wanted to do if it could be avoided.
Thump! Thump! Thump!
Seemingly having grown impatient after seeing that the massive blue deer was not responding, the small blue deer jumped up and down in an attempt to 'wake up' the massive blue deer laying on the ground.
However, this did nothing, as there was no chance for the massive blue deer to ever wake up again...
Thud~
Ignoring Xuan Hao who was cautiously scanning his surroundings at this point in time for any sign of the one responsible for the death of the massive blue deer, the small deer slowly collapsed on the ground beside the massive blue deer before letting out of small, yet soft cry filled with pain.
From the sound alone, it was not difficult to realize that the small blue deer had come to the realization that its father would no longer wake up again...Unravel the Unknown, Unleash the Unimaginable: NvεlB¡n.
"..."
Turning towards the sad blue deer as it cried out softly beside the massive blue deer, Xuan Hao decided to remain silent as he continued looking for any signs of the one responsible for the death of the massive blue deer.
[Main Quest: Investigate what caused the death of the blue deer's father.]
[Description: Investigate what could have caused the sudden death of the blue deer's father.]
[Reward: Sky Watcher's forgotten notes relating to celestial bodies]
Before Xuan Hao had any time to find any clues about the one responsible, the system reappeared, as it gave out a new quest... However, different from the past few times... It was a main quest this time around!
It had to be known that the rewards from the main quests were always something that was useful to him.
"Sky Watcher's forgotten notes relating to celestial bodies? What in the world is that...?"
However, after reading the name of the reward that was for once not hidden away behind question marks, Xuan Hao could not help feeling confused, as he had absolutely no idea what the [Sky Watcher's forgotten notes relating to celestial bodies, was about...

Chapter 624 Ignored
Back at the Flying Sword Sect shortly after Xuan Hao had left, Qing Yi frowned slightly while looking in the direction that her master had left in.
Shaking her head as she thought about something for a short moment, Qing Yi soon turned her attention towards Song Jia, who was still looking in the direction that her master had disappeared in with a curious expression on her face.
Even with her only having met the young Song Jia a few times over the past year, it was not too difficult to understand that she was curious about how her master had suddenly disappeared before any one of them had a chance to react.
To be honest, Qing Yi was also rather curious about this, as she had a feeling that it should not just be because of his strong cultivation, but instead some kind of movement technique that allowed him to move extremely fast-
"Ah… Now that master left, is there perhaps anything else you want to do other than spirit chess?" Realizing that she was thinking about her master again, Qing Yi could not help smiling wryly before shifting her attention back to Song Jia.
"Hm… I don't know?" Not expecting the question from Qing Yi, Song Jia tilted her head as she put on a thinking expression.
Like this, Qing Yi, and Song Jia both turned quiet, Song Jia thinking about an answer to the question, while Qing Yi had no idea what to say after seeing how concentrated looked when trying to come up with an answer on what they do now that her master had left after playing spirit chess with them for a short time.
It was at this time someone suddenly appeared from the entrance of the pavilion.
"What are both of you doing…?"
"Chu Yang… Ehm… We just finished seeing master off."Unravel the Unknown, Unleash the Unimaginable: NvεlB¡n.
"He left already? Looks like things are rather busy at the Shattered Star Peaks… I can't wait to move there, as things are sure to get more calm around the sect and master will have more time to help me practice the spear!" Nodding his head without finding anything odd about the slight pause between words when Qing Yi answered him, Chu Yang nodded his head.
Given that his master had been around for a year without having to leave for an extended period of time, Chu Yang had been taking full advantage of it, as he had found his master to practice with whenever he could.
In the end, this had resulted in Xuan Hao restricting the time he would spend practicing with him every week. After all, he could not just train one disciple, while leaving the other two to fend for themselves!
For some reason, Chu Yang had misunderstood the reason why his master had restricted the time he spends practicing with him and had ended up linking it together with the fact that most of the sect elders were busy with constructing the new main sect…
Given his master's strength and status in the sect, it was only obvious for him to play a crucial role in the construction of then new sect in Chu Yang's eyes!
"Hm? Who is- Ah! It's the little girl that follows Elder Song around!"
Spotting Song Jia standing a short distance away from Qing Yi, Chu Yang quickly realized the identity of the young girl in question.
"I know! How about we go search the nearby demon beast forest for spiritual herbs!" Completely oblivious to the fact that Chu Yang had appeared, Song Jia suddenly exclaimed loudly before turning towards Qing Yi with an expectant look plastered all over her face.
"That's a good idea, with this strong senior sister around, there is no need for us to worry about the demon beasts roaming inside the demon beast forest! Let's get going!" Nodding her head in response to what Song Jia said, Qing Yi understood that she had deliberately ignored Chu Yang after he had blatantly called her a little girl.
As a friend of Song Jia, Qing Yi was more than happy to play along. Especially so considering Chu Yang had asked for it himself. After all, Song Jia was just a few years younger than him. Even if she was smaller than others her age…
"Yay!"
Smiling happily upon hearing Qing Yi agree, Song Jia happily ran towards the path leading down the mountain before beginning the long descent towards the base of the mountain.
"Wait up for me!" Qing Yi was not too far behind, as she quickly disappeared down the path leading down the mountain together with Song Jia. Heading towards the demon beast forest filled with Qi Condensation Realm demon beast controlled by the Flying Sword Sect.
"…"
Not knowing what just happened as he could only stare in the direction that the two girls had disappeared in, Chu Yang could not help tilting his head in confusion as he tried to comprehend what had just happened.
"Senior brother Chu Yang, can you help me with the movement technique master taught us- Did something happen?" Arriving shortly after the two girls had left, Bai Ning who had come to Chu Yang for help with a movement technique could not help feeling a bit confused after seeing the sight of Chu Yang starring towards the path leading down the mountain in confusion.
"I have no idea… Let's go to the training ground." Shaking his head as he thought about what just happened without understanding why he had been ignored by the two girls, Chu Yang agreed to help Bai Ning without a second thought before making his way towards the training ground.
"Yes!" Not expecting for Chu Yang to agree so easily, Bai Ning showed a happy smile as he followed him towards the training ground.
To be honest, Bai Ning would not normally be trying so hard when it came to training… But over the past few months, most of the Blacksmithing Hall had been torn down and been relocated to the Seventh Star Peak… Thus, leaving him with nowhere to go a practice his blacksmithing!
Even if he was lucky enough to find a furnace, most of the precious metals used for blacksmithing had all been moved to the Seventh Star Peak already. Making it hard for him to try and refine any higher-level artifacts even if he got a chance to craft anything…
Bai Ning was not the only one to go through this, as the elders belonging to the Blacksmithing Hall, that had yet to get a chance to move to the Seventh Star Peak, were all turning towards cultivation now that they couldn't do any crafting.
Not only this, but all these blacksmiths that had spent all their time on blacksmithing all managed to breakthrough after they began seriously cultivating. Among which, the one to improve the most, was Elder Lou Wei, the current leader of the Blacksmithing Hall!
After the movement of most of the Blacksmithing Hall's furnaces and precious spiritual metals to the Seventh Star Peak, the old man had seen the 'suffering' that his fellow blacksmiths had to go through and decided to stay together with them instead of moving to the Seventh Star Peak.
This was even after Elder Song had already personally asked Elder Lou Wei to oversee the construction of the new Blacksmithing Hall on the Seventh Star Peak!
The decision of the old leader of the Blacksmithing Hall ended up proving to be a tremendously important decision for the old man, as over the past three months' time, he had managed to break through from the Peak of the Core Formation Realm and officially reach the Nascent Soul Realm!
…
"Finally found a clue…" As all three of his disciples were busy with their own things, a small smile crept up Xuan Hao's face as he managed to catch a trace left behind by the one behind the death of the blue deer's father.
"But… It's far too faint for me to make out the strength of the other party…" Trying his best to analyse the small trace aura left behind, Xuan Hao could only shake his head as he had absoloutly no idea what the strength of the other party was.
For all he knew, it could be someone at the Fourth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm and at the same time, it could also be someone in the Soul Ascension Realm!
Blindly following the small trace of aura left behind by the other party was definitely not a wise choice, as it might end up costing him his life if the other party was really someone in the Soul Ascension Realm.
Not to mention, he had no idea if the small trace of aura he had found was deliberately left behind by the one that had killed the father of the blue deer!
If that was really the case, Xuan Hao had a feeling that it would become far harder for him to complete the main quest than he had first expected…

Chapter 625 Ancient Temple
"Hm?"
Lost in thought thinking about whether or not to follow the faint aura left behind, Xuan Hao was caught slightly off guard, as the blue deer now spotting a few scales and a small pair of antlers appeared in front of him.
"Is there perhaps something you want to say to me?" Not knowing what else to say as the blue deer that had just lost its father was starring directly at him with what he could only assume was a pair of serious eyes, Xuan Hao had a feeling that the blue deer might be able to help him with completing his main quest... And at the same time find out what had happened to its father!
Swish~ Rustle!
Seeing that it had his attention, the blue deer did not stand still for even a second as it dashed into the nearby foliage of the forest and soon disappeared from Xuan Hao's vision.
"You want me to follow you...?" Muttering this to himself as he had already guessed what the intention of the blue deer was, Xuan Hao only thought about it for a short moment before deciding to follow the blue deer.
The main reason why he decided to follow the blue deer was not because he trusted it, but was because the direction that the blue deer was running was the same as the indiscernible aura left behind led towards.
Even he could barely sense this small trace of aura, so there was no way the small blue deer that was only in the Core Formation Realm had any way to sense it... With this in mind, the fact that the blue deer was following the trace aura left behind almost flawlessly could only mean one thing...
The blue deer knew something about what might have happened to its father!
...
Following the blue deer for what felt like hours, Xuan Hao finally noticed that the fait aura that the blue deer had been steadily travelling alongside without knowing about its existence, was slowly getting stronger and stronger.
Although he could still not sense the strength of the person who had left the aura behind, he could at the very least tell that he and the blue deer were getting close to the one responsible for the death of the blue deer's father.
It was at this moment that the blue deer suddenly came to a stop in front of a canyon with a calm river running through.
However, the thing that caught Xuan Hao off guard about this canyon, was the fact that the ruins of a massive ancient temple could be seen covering the canyon.
Old, moss-covered buildings could be seen built into the side of the canyon, while even larger and more destroyed buildings could be seen atop the canyon, as several hundred stone bridges in both good and bad conditions connected the two sides of the canyon with each other. At the centre of all this, a massive temple could be seen still standing tall as it gave off an extremely terrifying aura far surpassing anything Xuan Hao had ever felt before.
This massive ancient temple that had once been the home to a what had most likely been a powerful ancient religion, was now just a massive ruin...
"But... Why can't I see this place through my divine sense?" Muttering this to himself as he looked towards the massive temple and the buildings built all around it, Xuan Hao could not help frowning.
When he had seen the massive temple along with the countless buildings all around it in different states of decay and ruin, Xuan Hao was caught completely off guard by the appearance of the ancient temple because he had not been able to 'see' it with his divine sense.
Even when he tried to thoroughly inspect the ancient ruins in front of him again after having personally seen them now, he could still not see any of the ancient ruins through his divine sense. Almost like something was covering the entire ancient city in some sort of veil that made him unable to see the ruins hidden beneath.
Glancing up towards the top of the ancient temple located at the centre of all the ruined buildings, paths, bridges, and everything else still left intact, Xuan Hao could clearly feel that the reason behind all of this should be located at the top of the ancient temple stretching at least a few hundred meters into the sky.
Not only that, but Xuan Hao could also tell that the aura belonging to the murder of the blue deer's father seemed to be leading towards the massive ancient temple standing tall just next to the canyon.
"Haaa... Why does this feel like I'm about to walk into some sort of trap...?" Letting out a sigh as this thought occurred to him, Xuan Hao could not help taking out the sword he had been given by Yi Min, as he prepared himself for combat. Even if his worries were for nothing, it would not hurt to be cautious when going up the ancient temple-
Thump!
Just as Xuan Hao was about to make his way up the ancient temple, the blue deer stomped both of its feet on the ground.
Whoosh~
The stomp from the blue deer instantly caused a small golden mist to appear in front of it before floating towards Xuan Hao before being unintentionally sucked in by Xuan Hao .
"Hm!?"
Not expecting something like this to happen, Xuan Hao thought the blue deer had poisoned him for a short moment before feeling a clear and calming sensation spreading through his soul, as he felt his entire being calm down.
"This..."
It was only at this moment that Xuan Hao realized that the blue deer was not intending to poison him and had instead helped him, as after the calming down and feeling his mind clear up, he realized that his mind had somehow been influenced without him even knowing about it!
Just a second ago, he was about to make his way up to the peak of the ancient temple where an entity that was at least in the Domain Lord Realm and maybe even above that was waiting.
No... Given that the other party did not outright kill, it should not be someone in the Soul Ascension Realm!
With that in mind, there should be some sort of formation in place at the peak of the ancient temple that had in all likelihood belonged to the people that had once inhabited the Main Star Peak...
At that point in time, even if the other party was only in the Domain Lord Realm, it would not be hard to kill him with the help of a powerful formation belonging to the Soul Ascension Realm or beyond!
Thinking about all of this, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a shiver run down his spine.
If not for the help of the blue deer, he had no idea how things would have ended up if he went up to the peak of the ancient temple to investigate...
Knowing that the blue deer might have saved his life, Xuan Hao looked toward the blue deer with a grateful expression on his face.
Thump Thump~
Bang~
Stomping the ground happily after seeing Xuan Hao had returned to his former self and was no longer looking towards the peak of the ancient temple with an odd expression on his face like he had unknowingly done before, the blue deer suddenly collapsed on the ground.
"Are you okay!?"
Feeling worried about the blue deer suddenly collapsing on the ground, Xuan Hao quickly rushed over as he used his divine sense to check up on the blue deer.
"Looks like the little one just collapsed from exhaustion..."
Only after making sure that it had just collapsed due to exhaustion did he let out a sigh of relief as he gently placed the blue deer on a patch of especially soft grass on the ground not too far away from their current location.
No matter what happened, he would make sure to take good care of the blue deer in the future as thanks for its help, there was no way he would just allow it to die after saving him!
"But... Now that I know that this is definitely some sort of trap intended for me... The question becomes... How does that existence even know about me in the first place? Did it perhaps find out about me when I fought the winged tiger beast back then? After all, the fight did cause quite a commotion on the Main Star Peak.
Other than that, why did it end up killing the father of the blue deer and was it also the one behind the death of the blue deer's mother?"
Feeling more and more questions appearing as he found out more about what had happened to the blue deer's small family, Xuan Hao could not help frowning as he narrowed his eyes while looking up towards the peak of the ancient temple.Unravel the Unknown, Unleash the Unimaginable: NvεlB¡n.

Chapter 626 Unknown Existence on top of the Ancient Temple
Deciding to not enter the ancient temple or any of the buildings scattered around it for now, Xuan Hao sat down next to the blue deer before closing his eyes to focus on trying to see if he could use his divine sense to forcibly pierce through the veil that seemed to cover the ancient temple and buildings all around it.
The reason he didn't use his domain to do this and was instead trying to use his divine sense for this, was that his domain would have no way to reach the peak of the ancient temple without him getting within a hundred meters of it… At that point in time, he might as well just make his way to the peak of the ancient temple himself and find out who the other party was and if there really was some sort of formation up there…
As Xuan Hao focused his attention on trying to pierce through the veil that covered the ancient temple standing only a few thousand meters away from his current location, the blue deer was going through some sort of change, as the scales all over its body grew more prominent, while the two antlers on top of its head grew slightly larger.
This was not the only change, as the strength of the blue deer seemed to improve from what could be considered the earlier stages of the Core Formation Realm to the middle stages of the Core Formation.
All of this happened without the slightest fluctuation and without properly inspecting the blue deer, one would not be able to notice these changes.
Even Xuan Hao did not manage to notice any of this, as his full focus was on the ancient temple in the distance and trying to use his divine sense to forcefully see what was hidden on the highest point of the temple where a powerful enemy was likely to be waiting for him.
Coo~
It was only after hearing the weird breathing sound coming from the blue deer lying beside him, that Xuan Hao turned around to see that the blue deer had suddenly experienced a massive increase in strength without him knowing.
"How did it break through… And more importantly, how did its cultivation base stabilize so quickly without affecting the surroundings. Even I didn't manage to notice anything and I'm right next to it!"
Not knowing what to say after discovering the sudden increase of strength that the blue deer had experienced after having used the weird golden mist to help him out, Xuan Hao tried using both his domain and divine sense to inspect the blue deer in an attempt to find out what had happened to it.
Maybe even get an idea about what kind of demon beast it was… After all, there was no way it was just some random demon beast given how quickly its strength increased!
Whoosh~
BOOM!
However, just as he had entered the body of the blue deer and tried to delve deeper into its origin, a terrifying power erupted that had remained dormant inside the body of the blue deer erupted with a frightening power-
"Ah!"
Catching Xuan Hao completely off guard by this, the power forcibly pushed both his divine sense and domain out of the blue deers body.
Swish!
Feeling that the power erupting from the body of the blue deer, Xuan Hao decisively moved away from it, while cutting any connection that remained between himself and the blue deer.
Rumble~
With no target, the power slowly calmed down before disappearing back into the blue deer's body where it once again entered a dormant state.
"…"
Watching this scene, Xuan Hao could not help breathing out a sigh of relief.
If he was a second too slow earlier, the dormant power inside the blue deer that erupted when he was trying to investigate the origins of the blue deer, would undoubtedly have injured him.
In his current situation, it was very likely that the one hiding on top of the ancient temple would have taken advantage of this to attack him. At that point in time, he would likely have been forced into a rather unfavourable fight that might have ended up costing him his life!
Thinking about this, Xuan Hao decided that he should not try and investigate the blue deer's origin before he got stronger!
In his mind, Xuan Hao had already planned to take the blue deer with him to the sect when he left the Main Star Peak. After all, after both of its parent's death, it had no one left to rely on. Not to mention, there was still the entity watching them from the top of the ancient temple…
If he left the blue deer behind on the Main Star Peak, Xuan Hao had no idea if it would be able to survive or would end up turning out like its parents-
Swish!Immerse Yourself in the Storyverse: NvεlB¡n.
Just as Xuan Hao was thinking about leaving the Main Star Peak together with the blue deer, a powerful attack in the shape of a massive golden palm descended from the top of the ancient temple. Heading directly towards him and the blue deer!
"Hmph!" Frowning upon seeing the golden palm formed by some sort of pure and holy power, Xuan Hao stood up as both his sword and ice domain surged out to form an impenetrable wall in front of him and the blue deer to defend against the golden palm descending towards them.
Boom-!
As the attack collided with the wall formed by both his domains, Xuan Hao could not help frowning as he felt the terrifying power behind the golden palm forcibly supressing both his domains, as it slowly began getting closer to him and the blue deer.
Knowing that he would not be able to block the attack by just using his domains, Xuan Hao used the sword given by him by Yi Min to launch an attack-
Fwoosh!
Not a second later, a beautiful silver crescent moon was formed in the air, as Xuan Hao slashed down towards the golden palm that had descended from the top of the ancient temple.
The sword attack was not some complicated technique or sword move but was instead an accumulation of the different sword techniques and moves Xuan Hao had managed to comprehend so far.
Whoosh~
Boom-boom-boom!
This was also displayed as the silver sword light in the shape of a crescent moon split up into hundreds of different sword moves just when it was about to reach the golden palm before all of them attacked the golden palm simultaneously.
Crack!
Not able to withstand the combined sword moves all attacking it at once, the golden palm only resisted for a short moment before shattering together with the silver sword light that formed the different sword moves to attack it.
"…"
Seeing this, Xuan Hao could not help frowning as he glanced up towards the top of the ancient temple.
From the attack just now, he understood that the other party was indeed not someone in the Soul Ascension Realm… But even then, the other party was far stronger than he had expected and should not be too far away from the Soul Ascension Realm!
Not to mention, the attack just now, was just the other party testing out the waters… The full strength of the other party was sure to be stronger than what they had just shown!
"Wake up faster so we can leave this place as quickly as possible…" Muttering this to himself as he thought about this, Xuan Hao understood that there was a good chance the other party was stronger than him!
Moving the blue deer at the moment was not possible, as although the power inside it had gone dormant again, Xuan Hao was almost certain that it would emerge again to attack him if he tried moving the blue deer.
Even if it was not the case, Xuan Hao did not want to take the risk after having personally experienced the power of the unknown entity on top of the ancient temple. Not to mention, that existence somehow had a way to affect his mind back when he had first arrived.
Although it did not work anymore after the blue deer's help, Xuan Hao still felt fearful knowing that the unknown existence on top of the ancient temple could affect his mind without his knowledge.
Focusing all of his attention on the ancient temple, Xuan Hao did not dare to look anywhere else, as he silently waited for the blue deer to wake up so they could leave the ancient temple together.
Leaving the blue deer behind was not something Xuan Hao thought about doing, as although he was fearful of the unknown existence ability to subtly influence his mind, he was not truly afraid of it.
After all, if the unknown existence was far stronger than him, there was no way it would not have attacked him already and tried to kill him instead of just watching from the top of the ancient temple!
For this reason, even if he felt that the other party might be stronger than him, Xuan Hao did not intend to run away and leave behind the blue deer.

Chapter 627 Kidnapping the Blue Deer~
As half a day passed by with Xuan Hao and the unknown existence on top of the ancient temple without any of them making a move to attack each other after the earlier clash, the blue deer slowly woke up-
Cooo~The initial posting of this chapter occurred via noovelllbbin
Making a cute sounding sound as it stretched its still tired body before standing up to take in its surroundings.
Coo? Coo!
Making the same sound as it looked around itself and saw Xuan Hao, the blue deer jumped up excitedly before running in a small circle around him. Happy to see that Xuan Hao was doing fine after having inhaled the golden mist it had created before it ended up fainting.
"Looks like you are finally awake… It's great nothing bad happened." Seeing that the blue deer had recovered and was even jumping around him happily, Xuan Hao felt relieved that there was nothing wrong with the blue deer before looking back toward the top of the ancient temple.
After the blue deer had recovered and started moving around, Xuan Hao could clearly feel the unknown existence at the top of the ancient temple had started to grow restless to the point that it wouldn't be surprised if the other party suddenly decided to attack!
"We should get out of here before the one up there decides to attack…" Muttering this to himself, Xuan Hao glanced towards the blue deer happily jumping around him-
Whoosh~
Coo?!
Before grabbing hold of it and rushing back in the direction both of them had come from.
BOOOOM-!
This decision proved to be crucial, as a far more powerful attack from the unknown existence on top of the ancient temple landed at the place Xuan Hao and the blue deer had been located.
"…"
Looking back as he moved further and further away from the ancient temple together with the blue deer, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a shiver run down his spine as he watched how the area where the attack from the unknown existence on top of the ancient temple had landed.
Even if he did not receive the attack himself, Xuan Hao could clearly tell just how strong the attack just now was.
If he had stayed behind to resist such a powerful attack, he would have been forced to use all his strength and would not have been able to protect the blue deer! Not to mention, the unknown existence on top of the ancient temple had likely not shown its full strength…!
Thinking about this, Xuan Hao decided not to pursue his new main quest for now, as it was simply far too dangerous with his current strength. At least, with the blue deer around, it was impossible for him to properly investigate the ancient temple without constantly having to fear that the unknown existence would launch an attack to kill it…
Whoosh-!
Speeding up even more than before as this thought occurred to him, Xuan Hao sped across the different environments he had passed through before while following the blue deer to the ancient temple.
The difference this time around, he was far faster compared to back then, as he crossed the distance, he and the blue deer had taken hours to travel in a few minutes.
The speed of a Domain Lord Realm Expert was far above that of the little blue deer that had only reached the Core Formation Realm. Even if the blue deer was faster than a normal Core Formation Realm demon beast…
Thump~!
Landing on the ground close to the massive rock filled with the blue divine energy, Xuan Hao didn't dare let his guard down.
Whoosh-!
Fully utilizing both his domain and divine sense to observe his surroundings for any signs of the unknown existence on top of the ancient temple following them.
Only after a few minutes passed without anything happening did he start to relax knowing that the other party had not followed him and the blue deer.
But… Why didn't that person follow? He clearly didn't want the blue deer to leave the place alive…
Thinking this to himself as he remembered the last attack of the unknown existence on top of the ancient temple, Xuan Hao could not help feeling that something was wrong.
After all, with the strength displayed by the other party there was no reason to hide away at the top of the ancient temple.
On the other hand, given that he would be focused on defending the blue deer while escaping earlier, it would have been the perfect opportunity to launch an attack, yet… The other party remained on top of the ancient temple and just allowed him to leave without giving chase…
No matter how much Xuan Hao thought about this, he could not help feeling that it was weird for the other party to stay on top of the ancient temple in such a situation. Maybe when his mind had momentarily been affected back then, it was not just to get him to enter some sort of ancient killing formation… But was instead to get him to the top of the ancient temple!
If that is really the case… Perhaps the person on top of the ancient temple didn't decide not to chase us because of caution, but instead because it was impossible to do so!
As this thought dawned upon him, Xuan Hao felt that it made sense given what he had gone through over the last half day.
The only thing that was still unanswered, was how the father of the blue deer had ended up dying. After all, the location of the blue deer's father when he had died, was extremely far away from the ancient temple… There would have been no way for the unknown existence to kill the blue deer's father over such a distance!
Xuan Hao understood this full well, as not only would the strength of the attack weaken the longer it travelled, but the father of the blue deer was also a Peak Nascent Soul Realm demon beast. Killing such a strong demon beast over such a large distance would be impossible for someone in the Domain Lord Realm!
Coo~!
As Xuan Hao was lost in his own thoughts, the blue deer let out a reluctant noise as it looked towards Xuan Hao with confusion. Wanting to know why he had suddenly picked it up before flying back to the place they had met around a day ago.
From start to finish, the blue deer had no idea about the existence on top of the ancient temple nor the danger that it had been in just a few minutes earlier.
"Hah…" Seeing the wronged expression on the face of the blue deer, Xuan Hao could not help sighing to himself.
"Little one, we were in quite a dangerous situation earlier… If we didn't leave, it would have ended up- You don't understand what I'm saying…" Trying to explain what had happened to the wronged little blue deer, Xuan Hao could not help frowning upon realizing that the little blue deer for some reason looked like it didn't understand what he was saying.
Before this, it had always showed an expression of understanding and seemed to understand what he said to it… But now, it looked like it didn't understand a single word he said!
Perhaps it was too complicated for it to understand…?
Shaking his head at this thought, Xuan Hao decided not to think about it any longer-
Swish~
Coo!?
Grabbing the confused blue deer once again, Xuan Hao flew into the air before leaving the Main Star Peak together with the blue deer.
With the unknown existence on top of the ancient temple targeting the blue deer for some reason, it was no longer safe for it to stay on the Main Star Peak. Especially so considering that both of its parents had already been killed.
For this reason, Xuan Hao had decided to take the blue deer with him instead of leaving it on the Main Star Peak to fend for itself and hope that it didn't end up dead like its parents upon his next visit.
Leaving the blue deer at the Seventh Star Peak would also allow him to try and explore the area around the ancient temple without having to worry about something happening to the blue deer if a fight ended up happening between himself and the unknown existence on top of the ancient temple.
Not to mention… Xuan Hao was rather interested in finding out if the existence on top of the ancient temple could leave or not.
If the existence on top of the ancient temple really couldn't leave like he had thought, he would have free rein to continue exploring the Main Star Peak and try to complete the main quest without any worry.
Hopefully, this would also mean that he would be able to complete his main quest faster and get the mysterious reward!
Who knew, maybe the reward from the main quest would be something far more valuable than a simple increase in cultivation…

Chapter 628 Deer Caretaker Shu Yao~
Having returned to the Seventh Star Peak together with the blue deer, Xuan Hao found Shu Yao and asked her to look after the blue deer, as he wanted to return to the Main Peak and investigate the ancient temple without having to worry about anything happening to the blue deer.
"You want us to look after this blue deer... with scales?"
"Yes, I hope you will look after it for me!"
"Sure, but-"
Swish-!
Hearing her agreement, Xuan Hao immediately left without any delay before making his way back towards the Main Star Peak. Leaving behind a speechless Shu Yao, who could only stare blankly in the direction he had left in without knowing why he was in such a hurry.
"..."
Turning around to look at the weird deer like creature Xuan Hao had suddenly left with her before disappearing, Shu Yao had no idea what to say. Not to mention explaining where it had come from, Xuan Hao had not even told her if it was some sort of dangerous demon beast!
Coo?
Although... Looking at the innocent stare filled with confusion directed towards her, Shu Yao had a feeling that the blue deer was not some kind of dangerous demon beast. At the very least, she expected that Xuan Hao would have told her if the blue deer was some kind of dangerous demon beast before leaving it to her...
"Hm? Core Formation Realm!?" It was only at this moment that Shu Yao discovered that the innocent looking blue deer was actually a Core Formation Realm demon beast. Not only that, but it was actually close to the Peak of the Core Formation Realm!
"Elder Xuan... Just where did you find such an obedient demon beast...?" Muttering this to herself as she stared at the seemingly harmless blue deer in front of her, Shu Yao could not help remembering her brief encounter with the demon beasts of Flying Sword Sect a few days ago.
The encounter back then had completely shifted her perspective on demon beasts to the point that she had momentarily forgotten how tamed demon beasts normally behaved...
Well... Although the experience had ended up shocking for her, it had been even more shocking for those demon beasts. Especially considering she had made sure to take good care of one of the more arrogant once after getting permission from Feng Chen!
Coo!
Seeing Shu Yao suddenly show a weird smile while looking towards it, the blue deer suddenly felt a shiver run down its spine-
Swoosh~
As it quickly ran towards the nearest exit before escaping!
"..."
Not knowing whether to laugh or cry upon seeing the little blue deer escaping, Shu Yao could only blame the fact that she hadn't eaten anything today like she had grown used to since the construction of the new sect started before chasing after the blue deer.
After all, with its strength close to the Peak of the Core Formation Realm, it could cause quite a bit of damage. Not to mention the fact that some of the elders might attack it, thinking that it's a wild demon beast that somehow got into the sect.
...
"How in the world did a sect located so far away from the core region even manage to nurture a Domain Lord?"
At the same time Xuan Hao was returning to the Main Star Peak, a man dressed in a fierce looking suit of armour landed a short distance away from the Flying Sword Sect with the flying demon beast he was sitting on top of.Immerse Yourself in the Storyverse: NvεlB¡n.
Glancing towards the Flying Sword City that was located in front of the Flying Sword Sect in the distance, the man patted the head of the flying demon beast before leading it towards a river not too far away from where they had landed.
"Stay here and wait for me, I will be back shortly." Saying this after quickly scanning his surroundings, the man slowly began making his way towards the Flying Sword City that could be seen bustling with activity in the distance.
"..."
The flying demon beast that was left behind seemed to have understood what the man said, as it laid down in the shade of a nearby tree just next to the river.
Rustle~!
The few weaker demon beasts drinking from the river instantly fled upon seeing the flying demon beast.
This was an understandable reaction from these demon beasts, as the flying demon beast was actually a Nascent Soul Realm demon beast! Far stronger than any demon beast that these weak demon beasts located just next to the Flying Sword Sect had ever seen in their life!
From the strength of this flying demon beast, it could also be seen that the man who had flown on top of it was not someone normal!
...
"Hm... It looks like everyone here is quite busy, I wonder if something big happened recently?" Entering the Flying Sword City without any effort, the mysterious man could not help showing a slightly surprised expression after seeing just how busy things were inside the Flying Sword City.
Given that the Flying Sword City was located just next to a sect with a Domain Lord in it, there was no way things would be as chaotic as they were now... Unless something big had happened!
"What happened for everyone to be so busy?" Thinking about this, the man grabbed a random person running past him and asked in a commanding tone.
"Huh? The Flying Sword Sect is beginning to move a new group of disciple and elders to the new sect together with some more building materials! Everyone needs to lend a hand to make sure nothing goes wrong. Especially considering the Sect Master is no longer at the Flying Sword Sect and Elder Song is the one in charge!"
Whoosh~
Seemingly too occupied with other thoughts, the person who had been grabbed by the man carelessly answered the question before freeing himself to join a group of people in carrying several smaller crates filled with different things towards the entrance to the Flying Sword Sect.
"Moving... The Flying Sword Sect relocated...?" Muttering this to himself as he went over what the person, he had grabbed just told him, the man with the rather fierce armour on could not help frowning as he realized that he might have ended up coming to the wrong location.
The person he needed to speak to, was the sect master of the Flying Sword Sect. Not some random elder than had been left in charge of things while the sect master was not present!
I can't be sure what that person said is one hundred percent certain... I will have to ask a few more people to make sure that the Flying Sword Sect did indeed relocate too somewhere different.
Shaking his head as he thought about this, the man quickly began asking the people around him about the Flying Sword Sect, the whereabouts of the sect master, where they were moving and so on.
Of course, a man walking around in a fierce looking armour and asking about the sect master and the Flying Sword Sect did not go unnoticed, as Elder Song soon managed to learn about this through several members belonging to the servant quarters that had been left in charge of monitoring the Flying Sword City for any potential intruders that might have snuck inside!
...
"I wonder where this person is from... Given his attitude and arrogance when asking questions, he should not be from any of the nearby kingdoms and sects. Not to mention, he already knows that the Flying Sword Sect has the backing of a Domain Lord, yet he shows no fear and still acts like this..."
Observing the man in question a few minutes after being informed about him, Elder Song could not help putting on a thoughtful expression as he watched the unknown man that had entered the Flying Sword City ask the people walking past him all sorts of questions regarding the Flying Sword Sect.
"Hm... Is he perhaps from one of the three major religious powers inside the Sky Empire? But why would they come to the Flying Sword Sect... Unless it has something to do with the appearance of the Church of the Plague God? Then again, they have already been dealt with and should not have appeared in quite some time...
Maybe it's not the three major religious powers... But instead, someone from the Sky Empire!" Thinking out loud to himself as he continued observing the man walking around asking questions, Elder Song felt like it made sense.
"Is it perhaps related to the sect alliance Shu Yao mentioned?" Remembering something Shu Yao had told him around half a year ago during one of their many meetings regarding the construction of the new sect, Elder Song could not help frowning.
I should probably contact Shu Yao about this...
Shaking his head as he realized that it would properly be best for someone stronger than him to represent the sect when it came to taking care of something like this, Elder Song pulled out a communication talisman before contacting Shu Yao.

Chapter 629 Ancient Language
"I understand… I will be there as quickly as possible…" Having been informed about the unknown person that had suddenly appeared inside the Flying Sword City by Elder Song, Shu Yao put away her communication talisman before glancing towards the blue deer staring at her from the side with a cautious expression on its face.
How could I forget about this… Deer… Elder Xuan left me to take care of!? Should I take the deer with me when going to the Flying Sword Sect to meet this unknown person that is highly likely from the Sky Empire…?
Thinking this to herself as a frown made its way on to her face while looking at the blue deer, Shu Yao had no idea what to do about the blue deer Xuan Hao had suddenly left with her.
Giving it over to Feng Chen was not possible at the moment, as he had just recently left the Seventh Star Peak to settle some matters that popped up around the borders of the Flying Sword Sect's current territory.
As for leaving the blue deer in the hands of Zu Fei… No matter how desperate Shu Yao was, there was no way she would dare doing something like that. After all, who could say whether or not the blue deer was still around when she returned…
"Looks like I will have to take it with me…" Muttering this to herself as she realized there wasn't really anyone, she could confidently put in charge of looking after the blue deer, Shu Yao understood that she could only take the blue deer with her when going to meet the unknown person that had appeared in the Flying Sword City.
If that person was really from the Sky Empire… Shu Yao could only hope that the blue deer would not do something troublesome.
Coo-
Whoosh~
Just about to say something, the blue deer was interrupted by Shu Yao using her domain to draw the blue deer towards her.
"Calm down little one, we will just have to go to meet someone, and you have to remember to not do something troublesome… Understand?"
C-coo!
Not knowing whether or not the blue deer had truly understood what she had said, or just responded due to the fear of suddenly finding itself being pulled directly in front of her by the power of her domain, Shu Yao didn't have any time to waste.
Swish-!
Directly leaving after hearing the hopefully positive response of the blue deer.
No matter what, there was no way she could waste too much time trying to convey what she wanted the blue deer to do. Especially considering that there might be someone from the Sky Empire in the Flying Sword City!
If that person started causing trouble after not finding out only a few Nascent Soul Realm Experts in the earlier stages were there to greet him… Shu Yao really didn't want such a situation to happen, as she full well understood how arrogant the people sent out by the Sky Empire to inform the stronger sects all across the Sky Empire about the sect alliance were…
At least, the current her was no longer in the Nascent Soul Realm and wouldn't be as easy for the Sky Empire to simply disregard! A Domain Lord was considered part of the core strength of an empire like the Sky Empire!
If there was no reason, the Sky Empire would not carelessly make an enemy of a Domain Lord. Not to mention, the sect that was the merger between the Flying Sword Sect and her Spring Flower Sect had more than one Domain Lord!
…
At the same time Shu Yao had decided to bring the blue deer along with her to meet the unknown person that had entered the Flying Sword City and started asking random people questions about the sect, Xuan Hao had already made his way back to the ancient temple that he had left only a short time earlier.
Focusing on the familiar aura that was still present on top of the ancient temple, Xuan Hao could not help smiling to himself after confirming that the one on top of the ancient temple had not moved at all.
"That person is indeed still stuck on top of the ancient temple… Looks like I was correct thinking that something is preventing that person from leaving!"
Ignoring the gaze that locked on to him the moment he returned, Xuan Hao no longer cared too much about the person on top of the ancient temple.
After all, as long as that person was stuck up there, it would be easy for him to avoid any attack throw his way. Not to mention, with the Drifting Cloud Steps, it would be far too easy for him to escape that person's attack range if it became too dangerous!
Now that he no longer had the blue deer to look after, Xuan Hao was no longer as restricted, as he slowly began moving closer to the ancient temple while investigating all the houses and smaller temples along the way.
Entering the ancient temple was still not something that he dared to do, as he was still apprehensive when it came to the existence on top of the ancient temple. However, the same could not be said about any of the buildings and smaller temples located around the ancient temple.
Even if he could not complete the main quest through this, he would at the very least be able to get a deeper understanding of the massive city cantered around the ancient temple. Maybe he could even manage to get his hands on some ancient text still left in the smaller temples located around the ancient temple!
Whoosh~
With this in mind, Xuan Hao completely ignored the very clear killing intent emitting from the top of the ancient temple, as he rummaged through the different smaller temples located only a short distance away from the ancient temple itself.
…
Searching through the smaller temples located around the ancient temple, it did not take long for Xuan Hao to find several different ancient texts and scrolls stored in storage rooms attached to the small temples. However-
"I can't read any of them…"
Indeed, all the ancient texts and scroll were written in some sort of ancient language that he had never seen before and couldn't understand. Completely different from the language that was being used across the Ewaria Conti-
"Ah! Now that I think about it… The writing actually looks similar to the scroll I got from the stone hut inside the secret realm!" Suddenly remembering the scroll, he had gotten all the way back when he had explored the secret realm together with Chi Hu, Xuan Hao did not waste any time taking out the scroll in question before starting to compare it with the ancient texts and scroll inside the small temple.
Rustle~
Thoroughly comparing the words on the scroll, he had gotten back in the secret realm with the scroll and texts inside the small temple, Xuan Hao could not help narrowing his eyes. Becoming certain that the words from the ancient scrolls and texts inside the small temple and the scroll from the secret realm were the same.
"How is the ancient temple related to the secret realm… Or is the ancient temple perhaps just from the same time as the secret realm?" Muttering this to himself as he looked over the scrolls and texts of the small temple without the slightest clue what was written in them, Xuan Hao could not help feeling frustrated over not being able to read these ancient words.
If he could read them, he would have a way to find out about the ancient temple and just what might have happened to it in the past for it to end up in its current situation.
Not only that, but he would also have a chance to learn about other powers similar to the ancient temple and the secret realm that had existed in the past. Maybe even getting a chance to learn what had caused the downfall of all these strong powers that should have at the very least had Soul Ascension Realm Experts, if not stronger, protecting them…
Swoosh~
Knowing that the ancient texts and scrolls might prove useful in the future when he had a chance to learn this ancient language, Xuan Hao used his domain to gather all of them before stuffing all of them into an empty interspatial ring.Ñ00vl--ß1n hosted the premiere release of this chapter.
Swish-!
Having emptied out all the intact ancient texts and scrolls from the small temple, Xuan Hao did not stop there, as he went to the other smaller temples located all around the massive ancient temple at the centre of everything. Gathering up all the texts, scrolls and books he could find still intact.
However, doing this did not come without any risk, as the person on top of the ancient temple was less than happy to see what Xuan Hao was doing…
Rumble-!
Not having any chance to react, Xuan Hao who was about to enter the last of the smaller temples suddenly felt everything around him shaking violently before a terrifying sensation enveloped from head to toe.

Chapter 630 Restriction
Whoosh~
Knowing that he was in danger, Xuan Hao didn't waste any time using the Drifting Clouds Steps to moved away from the small temple he was just about to enter.
Boom-!
Not a second later, a familiar golden palm smashed into the small temple. Instantly destroying it along with everything inside of it.
…
Escaping to a safe distance away from the ancient temple, Xuan Hao glanced up towards the top of the ancient temple with a doubtful expression on his face.
The golden palm that had been sent down from the top of the ancient temple was not hard to dodge and the power had also been far lower than when he had first exchanged blows with the existence on top of the ancient temple.
The terrifying sensation that had caused him to escape thinking that it was a powerful attack heading towards him, had very clearly not originated from the golden palm, but had come from something different…
No matter what, the current situation was clear to Xuan Hao. The golden palm attack was not aimed at him, but the small temple he was just about to enter.
Obviously, a certain someone did not want him to take away the things inside the small temple… But if that was the case, why had he not been stopped when going through the other small temples around the ancient temple?
Perhaps… There was something important present inside the small temple…
Thinking this to himself, Xuan Hao used his divine sense to search through what remained of the small temple after having been violently destroyed by the golden palm just a few seconds earlier.
"Hm? One of the ancient scrolls actually survived…?" Scanning through the ruins of what had once been a small temple, Xuan Hao could not help narrowing his eyes upon spotting a small, still intact ancient scroll buried beneath the rubble.
Even if the golden palm attack that destroyed the temple was weaker than the two other attacks, he had experienced from that person so far, it was still more than enough to kill an ordinary Domain Lord, let alone a few ancient scrolls and texts that had existed for thousands of years.
The fact that rubble still remained from the small temple was amazing enough, yet now one of the ancient scrolls inside the temple had also ended up surviving the golden palm attack…
No matter what, Xuan Hao did not take long to realize that this scroll was most likely the reason why that person had destroyed the small temple.
However, if that was the case… Why not use a stronger attack to destroy the ancient scroll? Or perhaps, that person could not destroy the ancient scroll and wanted to try and hide it away under the rubble of the small temple. Hoping that he would not find it?
As all sorts of different thoughts ran through his mind, Xuan Hao soon spotted a small tentacle like hand slowly extending out from the ancient temple towards the small temple with the ancient scroll hidden below the rubble.
"…"
Not showing any reaction to this, Xuan Hao could not help marvelling over the small hand sneakily extending towards the ancient scroll buried below the rubble of the small temple.
The main reason why he was so amazed by this small hand was not due to it showing that the ancient scroll hidden below the rubble was indeed something precious, but the fact that the small hand was completely invisible to his divine sense!
The more he learned about the existence on top of the ancient temple, the more cautious he felt towards this unknown existence who seemed to have all sorts of unique and wonderous techniques at hand. From a way to subtly influence his mind, to the small hand invisible to his divine sense.
For some odd reason, Xuan Hao had a feeling that the existence hidden away inside the ancient temple was far more dangerous than he had first thought. The different unique techniques displayed only strengthened this belief further…
Watching as the hand extending out from the ancient temple was getting closer and closer to the ancient scroll hidden away beneath the rubble of the small temple, Xuan Hao smiled to himself before utilizing the Drifting Cloud Steps at its highest capacity without randomly teleporting around.
Whoosh-!
Seeing Xuan Hao suddenly rush forth, the hand sneakily making its way towards the rubble seemed to have realized that it had been discovered, as it similarly rushed towards the ancient scroll hidden beneath the small temple without hiding its presence.
Given that it was far closer than Xuan Hao, it would be the first to reach the rubble and get the ancient scroll hidden beneath.
Swish~
Ptsh!
At the very least, this would have been the case if Xuan Hao didn't pull out his sword and slashed down at the long snake like arm that the hand was attached to.
Screech~!
Not knowing how the hand like thing made such a sound as his sword cleanly cut through it, Xuan Hao quickly overtook the hand and grabbed hold of the ancient scroll while the cut part of the snake like arm reconnected before retreating back into the ancient temple after Xuan Hao got his hand on the ancient scroll.
"That was easier than I expected…" Muttering this to himself as he put the ancient scroll into his interspatial ring, Xuan Hao was just about to make some distance between himself and the ancient temple before checking out the ancient scroll, when a chill suddenly ran down his spine for some unknown reason.
RUMBLE-!
Feeling the terrifying sensation from earlier together with a much more violent tremors spreading across the canyon with the ancient temple at the centre, Xuan Hao was just about to escape when he suddenly felt like the space around him had been restricted by some sort of unknown power. Preventing him from escaping with the Drifting Cloud Steps
Even the random teleportation that he had started unconsciously counting on when it came to getting himself out of a dangerous situation, was not usable after the space around him had been restricted.
If he was stronger or had a better understanding of the dao of space, he would have been able to escape the restrictions.
However, the current him had no way to escape the space restrictions. Escaping could only be done by running normally. Although this was still fast, it was still far slower compared to his speed when using the Drifting Cloud Steps.
Whoosh~
Looking up into the air above him, Xuan Hao also understood that he would not have time to escape like this, as not one, but three golden palms far stronger than the ones he had encountered before was heading towards him with a speed that made it impossible for him to dodge without the help of the Drifting Cloud Steps random teleportation feature!
I will have to fight it… Won't I…?
As this realization dawned upon him, Xuan Hao could not help narrowing his eyes as he focused on the three golden palm attacks heading towards him.
Even if he could resist the three golden palm attacks, Xuan Hao was certain that it would not come without a price!Immerse Yourself in the Storyverse: NvεlB¡n.
A fraction of a second after having decided to resist the attack, the three golden palms simultaneously smashed down on Xuan Hao-
Boom-boom-boom!
Meeting the power of the three golden palms head on with both his domains seemingly merging together as one to defend against the terrifying attack, Xuan Hao knew very well that his domains would not be able to defend against such a powerful attack.
The only reason he used his domains, was to buy himself enough time to put up a proper defence against the attack.
Crack~
Not even lasting for more than a few seconds, the sword domain was the first to bend under the combined might of the three golden palms, quickly followed by his ice domain that barely lasted half a second longer.
Earth Splitting!
Swish~!
Knowing the attack was just about to reach him, Xuan Hao barely managed to execute the Earth Splitting Sword from the Heaven Splitting Sword Art!
BOOOOOOOOM-!
Swoosh~!
As the power of the three golden palms and the Earth Splitting Sword collided, a shockwave was formed with them at the centre, as it spread out, sweeping through, and destroying anything and everything that was not the ancient temple!
Soon enough. Reducing what had once been a relatively intact ancient city situated around the ancient temple to rubble!
However, things did not end there, as the power contained in the shockwave created by the two attacks colliding swept into the canyon located right beside the ancient temple.
RUMBLE-!
This in turn caused the walls of the canyon to start collapsing, as tons upon tons of stones were turned to dust by the power, while even more fell into the calm river below.
Splash!
Splash!
Splash!
Before long, the river that had once been running through the canyon disappeared completely, as layers upon layers of stones and rocks covered it up.
As things slowly started calming down, the canyon had transformed into what now looked more like a valley compared to a canyon… If one could look away from the fact that rigged stones and massive holes were presents all across the bottom of this newly created 'valley'.

Chapter 631 Weird Person from the Sky Empire
Breathing out heavily as he stood at the centre of a massive crater that had formed around him, Xuan Hao could not help smiling wryly as he looked at the sword in his hands still lightly shaking after having collided with the combined power of the three golden palms.
Whoosh~
Feeling that the restriction on the space around him had been lifted, Xuan Hao didn't dare stay behind for even a second longer, as he instantly used the Drifting Cloud Steps to move away from the ancient temple.
The last thing he wanted right now, was to endure such an attack again… Not to mention, he had no idea if the next attack would be even more powerful than the last!
If it really ended up being more powerful… Xuan Hao had no idea if he would be able to defend against it, as the Earth Splitting Sword from the Heaven Splitting Sword Art, was by far the strongest technique that he could use at the moment.
"That was… Far more powerful than I imagined…" Muttering this to himself as he glanced towards the place just next to the ancient temple where he had faced the powerful attack, Xuan Hao smiled a bit wryly.
The destruction brought to everything around the ancient temple was simply terrifying, as other than the canyon being turned into some sort of valley, the buildings and smaller temples that had once been standing intact next to the ancient pagoda… Had all disappeared!
The power from the clash between the three golden palms and the Earth Splitting Sword was simply far too powerful, as almost nothing other than the ancient temple had been able to survive. The little rubble and other things that had managed to survive outside of the ancient temple was scattered in a radius of a hundred miles around the ancient temple!Immerse Yourself in the Storyverse: NvεlB¡n.
However, this was not all, as a massive crater a few thousand meters wide and close to a hundred meters deep could be seen just next to the ancient temple.
Even looking at it from a distance, Xuan Hao could not help feeling amazed seeing the destruction that had taken place. Not because the destruction was especially devastating, but because the crater and the environment around the centre of the clash had been created by nothing more than the remnant power of the three golden palms and his sword attack.
Almost all of the power rom the two attacks had cancelled each other out, yet the small amount of power that leaked out into the environment had destroyed everything within a hundred-mile radius!
From this alone, it could easily be seen just how powerful a Peak Domain Lord was and at the same time, it also helped Xuan Hao get a better understanding of his own strength.
"But… What was that space restriction from earlier…? It completely prevented me from using the Drifting Cloud Steps or any other movement techniques…" Observing the destruction that had been created around the ancient temple, Xuan Hao could not help frowning to himself. Remembering how he had suddenly found himself almost locked in place, unable to dodge the three golden palms heading down towards him.
Even if he had managed to come out unscratched, Xuan Hao still felt fearful when remembering how he had been unable to properly use his movement technique.
"Is it perhaps because my understanding of space is far too low at the moment that I was unable to escape? Indeed… Compared to the rest of my cultivation, I have indeed neglected increasing my understanding of spatial manipulation. All I've done with it so far is create interspatial rings and randomly teleport around with the Drifting Cloud Steps…" Smiling a bit wryly as he realized just how much he had neglected increasing his understanding and proficiency in spatial manipulation, Xuan Hao promised himself to spend some time trying to increase his strength when it came to spatial manipulation after returning from the Main Star Peak.
At the very least, he would not go anywhere near the ancient temple before his spatial manipulation and usage of the Drifting Cloud Steps had increased enough for him to escape a situation where the space around him was restricted.
In the future, he would not be helpless to just wait and try his best to endure the attack and would instead have a way to escape the attack without wasting all his energy defending passively like he had just done.
Although he had indeed gotten out without any serious injuries, it would still take some time for his energy reserves to recover again.
"But… How come the power behind the attack lacked any form of support from a domain?" Muttering this to himself as looked towards the lingering power from the earlier clash located in the crater next to the ancient temple in the distance, Xuan Hao could not help feeling like something was wrong with the attack from earlier.
For some odd reason, Xuan Hao had a feeling that the person on top of the ancient temple should not belong to the normal cultivation path that he followed, but some other kind of path. The path in question seemed similar to the one followed by the different religious orders, but at the same time also felt different from them, as the power contained in the golden palms seemed purer. Not in strength but-
No use thinking about this for now. After increasing my understanding of spatial manipulation and mastering the next level of the Drifting Cloud Steps, I will return and find out what power this ancient temple belonged to in the past…
Shaking his head as he stopped trying to draw conclusion from the limited information, he had been able to gather so far, Xuan Hao glanced one last time towards the ancient temple before leaving.
Although he really wanted to check out the ancient scroll that had enraged the entity on top of the ancient temple enough to launch such a terrifying attack, Xuan Hao did not plan on doing it before he had left the Main Peak and had returned to the safety of the Chaotic Qi Formation.
…
Given that Shu Yao was already familiar with the people from the Sky Empire, it was not hard for her to determine that the person Elder Song had notified her about was indeed from the Sky Empire.
"This is… Looks like it is indeed someone from the Sky Empire!"
Arriving in the air above the Flying Sword City together with the blue deer that was curiously moving around in the air right beside her under the support of her domain, Shu Yao instantly determined that the person was indeed someone from the Sky Empire.
However, she could not help frowning upon noticing the weird behaviour of the person from the Sky Empire.
"It is indeed someone from the Sky Empire, but… Why is he so obsessed with asking random people the same questions again and again about the Flying Sword Sect and the Spring Flower Sect? At this point in time, he should know how many Domain Lords there are…" Muttering this to herself as she used her divine sense to listen to the same few questions that the person from the Sky Empire seemed to be asking everyone that passed by him, Shu Yao had a feeling that the Sky Empire had made a mistake and ended up sending a recently recruited soldier that had not yet been trained over.
"Peak Nascent Soul Realm…"
However, after seeing his cultivation realm, Shu Yao realized that the weird person from the Sky Empire was not some random trainee soldier that had been sent over by accident…
Coo? Coo!
Seeing Shu Yao's worried face as she looked down at the person from the Sky Empire, the blue deer that had been trying to escape from her since Xuan Hao had left, gave her a short cheer before returning to running around in the air with the help of Shu Yao's domain.
"Eh? You are cheering me on now?" Seeing the little blue deer cheering her on before returning to playing around in the air, Shu Yao could not help smiling to herself for a short moment before a serious expression appeared on her face.
No matter how weird the person sent by the Sky Empire was, she would still have to talk with him. After all, the only reason why the Sky Empire would send someone to the border region of the Sky Empire specially to visit them, would be something related to the sect alliance!
At this point in time, another person should also have arrived at the Seven Fates Sect, as they had also been invited to take part in the sect alliance arranged by the Sky Empire.
Even if she understood the true purpose of the sect alliance, she also understood just how useful the sect alliance would be for the development of the sect when it came to gathering and trading resources. Not to mention recruiting new and more talented disciples from across the Sky Empire.
The rest of the sects joining the sect alliance were the same, as they all to some degree understood the risks. However, the benefits of joining the sect alliance were simply far too much for these sects to ignore and it was not like the Sky Empire and the three major religious orders would simply leave them alone forever!
Better take this chance to further increase their strength and hopefully produce a Soul Ascension Realm Expert!

Chapter 632 Obedient Blue Deer
Whoosh~
Descending down from the sky with the blue deer following behind her, Shu Yao landed a short distance away from the person from the Sky Empire before walking over.
"This is… A Domain Lord!"
Of course, given that she had not hidden herself from anyone while descending, her presence had instantly caught the attention of the person from the Sky Empire. In turn causing him to freeze up while staring towards Shu Yao approaching him in disbelief.
From this reaction alone, Shu Yao could easily understand that this person from the Sky Empire did not expect for there to really be any Domain Lords inside the Flying Sword Sect or the Spring Flower Sect and that was even when he had been told that there was indeed two Domain Lords present by the people, he had been asking on the streets of the Flying Sword City…
This was not even mentioning the winged tiger demon beast that not many people knew about! After all, even if it was just Xuan Hao's pet, it was still a Domain Lord Realm demon beast!
"Hello, I'm the current sect master of the Spring Flower Sect… Are you perhaps someone sent by the Sky Empire?" Seeing that the person from the Sky Empire was still frozen and had yet to respond to her, Shu Yao took the lead as she introduced herself while also asking whether he was sent by the Sky Empire.
Even if she was almost a hundred percent certain that the man in front of her was someone from the Sky Empire, she still decided to ask him just to be sure. After all, with his strength at the Peak of the Nascent Soul Realm, there was no way he would dare impersonate someone from the Sky Empire. Especially considering that they were currently inside the Sky Empire…
"Ah, y-yes! I'm from the Sky Empire!" Acting all nervous after realizing that the person in front of him was indeed a Domain Lord, the man from the Sky Empire answered quickly. Only regaining some of his courage after mentioning that he was from the Sky Empire.
"So… For what reason have someone from the Sky Empire come? Is it perhaps related to the sect alliance?" Not wanting things to drag on, Shu Yao directly asked this.
The faster things finished and the person from the Sky Empire left, the better… Not to mention, she still had to look after the blue deer that was currently floating in the air a few feet above them. Having been hidden away by the power of her domain.
At least, it seemed like the blue deer had not discovered anything odd and was still just playing around by itself. Allowing her to speak with the man from the Sky Empire without worrying about it causing any trouble.
"Yes! I'm here regarding the sect alliance! However, we should properly go somewhere more private first…" Hearing what Shu Yao said, the man from the Sky Empire had already recovered from his earlier shock of discovering that a sect located in the border region actually had a Domain Lord supporting it, as he answered her full of confidence befitting of someone belonging to a massive empire like the Sky Empire.
"Indeed…" Nodding her head in agreement with the man from the Sky Empire, Shu Yao secretly contacted Elder Song about a good location before making her way towards an isolated pavilion close to the entrance of the Flying Sword Sect. The man from the Sky Empire following behind her, while the blue deer unknowingly floated behind them, still busy playing around in the air above them.
Inside, Shu Yao could not help feeling thankful that the blue deer still seemed to be an innocent young child. Not yet easily bored of simple things like playing around in the air by itself.
Although the feeling of moving around in the air was indeed something fun to do the first time around, one quickly got used to it. Even she had played around for a few minutes in the air after breaking through to the Domain Lord Realm…
"This is it…?"
Ah? Yes!"
Interrupting her train of thoughts as they reached the isolated pavilion Elder Song had informed her about, the man from the Sky Empire quickly found a place to sit down after hearing her confirmation.Immerse Yourself in the Storyverse: NvεlB¡n.
Whoosh~
"First of all, take this, it's an identification token, you will need it in the future when going to the capital of the Sky Empire for the sect alliance, without it, you won't be able to enter the imperial capital!"
Taking out a small token from his interspatial ring before handing it over to her after sitting down, the man from the Sky Empire quickly told her what it was for before patiently waiting for her to put it away.
From a glance, it could clearly be seen that he was respectful towards Shu Yao. Not something surprising considering she was a Domain Lord, and he was only a Nascent Soul Realm Expert.
If something really ended up happening, the man from the Sky Empire understood that it would almost certainly end with his death! For this reason, he made sure to not act rude towards Shu Yao…
If Shu Yao was a Nascent Soul Realm Expert, he would not have acted this kindly towards her, something Shu Yao understood very well, as she had already experienced just how arrogant the people sent by the Sky Empire were when she had first been invited to join the sect alliance…
"Now, for the reason why I'm here…. I have come to inform your sect that the sect alliance will be set in place soon and your sect will have to send someone to the imperial capital for this reason. The same is true for any of the other sects that will be part of the sect alliance!"
Listening to what was said, Shu Yao could not help frowning. Feeling that the person in front of her should not only have come to tell her that the sect alliance would be established soon, and the sect needed to send someone to the imperial capital.
"Hm? When is this…? I imagine that it should still be a few years off considering that a lot of the sects invited only have a Peak Nascent Soul Realm Expert leading them. For someone like that to reach the imperial capital from the border region of the Sky Empire… It would at least take two to three years' time even with the help of flying demon beasts!" However, in the end, she did not ask about any of her doubts, as she had a feeling that the person in front of her would not answer her and it was not like she could force him given his identity as someone from the Sky Empire…
"Indeed, the sect alliance establishment with the help of the imperial family will take place three years from now. Normally your sect would have to send someone towards the imperial capital immediately to make it in time… But from the looks of it, that is not needed.
If you don't mind, could I get some information on your sect? As it looks like our information is not up to date. Given that your Spring Flower Sect and the Flying Sword Sect is merging together from what I learned, it would also be helpful if we could get the name of the new sect noted down for when you join the sect alliance in the future."
Answering some of her doubts, the person from the Sky Empire didn't intend to talk more about the reason he was sent to the Flying Sword Sect and instead just asked about the name of the new sect that would be born from the Flying Sword Sect and the Spring Flower Sect merging together.
"Sure… The name will be the Star Shattering Sect!"
Not seeing anything wrong with giving him the name that the different elders from both the Flying Sword Sect and the Spring Flower Sect had decided on, Shu Yao answered him honestly.
"I see… The Star Shattering Sect…" Nodding his head as he noted it down the name, the man from the Sky Empire soon took out a few more things for Shu Yao before explaining a few general things about the sect alliance that she already knew about.
Like this close to half an hour passed before the man from the Sky Empire left in the direction of the Seven Fates Sect.
A part of Shu Yao was about to inform him that the Seven Fates Sect also had a Domain Lord, but in the end, she decided against it. Not for any malicious reason, but just because the man from the Sky Empire had been quite annoying to the people in the Flying Sword City before she arrived.
Coo?
Over the last hour or so, Shu Yao had grown to like the blue deer more, as it was obedient and didn't cause any trouble. Even when it had grown bored of playing around in the air, the small blue deer had patiently waited for her to finish her conversation with the man from the Sky Empire. Only making a sound after he had disappeared.
"Hm… How about this, we will go back to the Seventh Star Peak and get something delicious to eat, what do you think?"
COO!
Chapter 633 Content of the Ancient Scroll...
"Time to check out the Ancient Scroll…" Having left the Main Star Peak and come to a stop around the base of the mountain, Xuan Hao found a place to sit down before taking out the ancient scroll he had gotten from the small temple.
Opening the ancient scroll, Xuan Hao expected not to be able to understand anything that was written inside of it like the other ancient scroll and books he had gotten his hands on from the small temples around the ancient temple.
However, this was not the case, as the ancient scroll was not written in the same ancient language and was instead written in a language that seemed to be the fusion between the current language used across the Ewaria Continent and the ancient language that was used in the ancient texts, scrolls and books he had just managed to get his hands on.
"So, this is why that existence on top of the ancient temple didn't want me to get my hands on this scroll…" Muttering this to himself as he understood why the existence on top of the ancient temple had tried so hard to prevent him from getting his hands on the ancient scroll, Xuan Hao could not help smiling to himself before starting to read through the ancient scroll.
In the end, the information inside the ancient scroll was not anything too important and was just an ancient letter written by an ancient powerhouse addressed to someone similarly powerful from the ancient temple.
The letter itself talked about a great calamity and was sent by someone asking for assistance. Unfortunately, it seemed like the letter had been damaged to some extent, causing both the name of the ancient temple and the one responsible for sending the letter to be unreadable.
The damage to the letter was not caused by the earlier attack that the letter in the shape of a scroll had to endure, but instead because of something different…
Even just holding the scroll in his hands, Xuan Hao could clearly feel the terrifying power of the person who had once written the scroll in his hands.
Having already tried probing the scroll with his strength, Xuan Hao understood that the remnant power alone left in the scroll was more than enough to fully resist his full strength without any problem!
The existence on top of the ancient temple also knew that there was no way to destroy the ancient scroll and therefore only tried taking it away before he noticed anything…
From this alone, it was obvious that the person who had written the scroll in front of him was far more powerful than the Domain Lord Realm… Maybe even some ancient powerhouse from the past that had surpassed the Soul Ascension Realm!
Thinking this, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a shiver run down his spine as he remembered the calamity mentioned by the person in the letter.
Given that an existence that had highly likely surpassed the Soul Ascension Realm had asked for assistance, it could easily be imagined just how terrifying this calamity was. Not to mention, for him to ask the ancient temple for assistance, it meant that the ancient temple likely also had someone who had surpassed the Soul Ascension Realm in the past.
Maybe all of this was even related to the reason why the Shattered Star Peaks had eneded up in their current situation!
Not thinking too long about this as his strength was far too low to try and find out about such things for now, Xuan Hao finished reading through the ancient scroll.
Although several parts of it were unreadable due to damage or due to the fact that it was far too close to the ancient language for him to understand, Xuan Hao could still read a majority of the letter without any problems.
Through it, he discovered that other than the calamity mentioned towards the start, the scroll also mentioned several unknown factions and sects Xuan Hao had never heard about before. All gathering together to defend against the calamity.
Nothing more of importance was left in the ancient scroll, as the rest was just a continues stream of words stating how important it was for the ancient temple to send help and how the ancient temple would not survive if the calamity was not stopped.
"Although all of this is rather useless to me at the moment… The fact that the scrolls language seems to be a fusion between the language of the current day and the one used in the past is extremely useful.
The reason why the existence on top of the ancient temple wanted to stop me is likely because it knows that it won't take someone with my cultivation realm more than a few years of dedicated study to decipher and understand the ancient language with this ancient scroll as a reference point…"
Smiling to himself even after knowing that he would at least have to use a year or more to gain anything useful from the ancient scroll, Xuan Hao was not unhappy in the slightest, as he understood full well how useful it would be for him to understand the ancient language used in the past.
Be it for understand ancient texts when exploring ancient ruins and secret realms, the use of the learning the ancient language did not stop there!
Just imagining getting his hand on some ancient cultivation technique or powerful qi technique, yet not have the ability to understand it, was more than enough motivation for Xuan Hao when it came to learning the ancient language.
Not to mention, he really wanted to learn more about the ancient temple from the ancient books he had taken with him, as it was something related to the main quest from the system.
After reading the letter, Xuan Hao understood that entering the ancient temple might be far more dangerous than he first expected and learning more about the temple was something he had to do if he wanted to enter without having to worry about getting caught in a trap of some sort the moment, he stepped foot inside.
"Increasing my comprehension of the Dao of Space and learning the ancient language… Even if I'm fast, it should at least take me two years to do…" Muttering this to himself as he realized that he would not be able to complete the main quest for the next two years, Xuan Hao could not help looking up towards the Main Star Peak with a wry smile on his face.
Xuan Hao had hoped he would be able to complete the main quest faster than the last time around… But from the looks of it, it would take him even longer than before.
At least, by that point in time, both the Flying Sword Sect and the Spring Flower Sect should have finished moving into the Seventh Star Peak and have fully merged together into a single sect.
Not only that, but he his sect quest for increasing the strength of the sect should also be completed at that point in time as long as he helped Feng Chen break through to the Domain Lord Realm, as the winged lion was not counted as part of the sect and was instead only considered as his pet in the eyes of the system.
"Hah…" Shaking his head as he thought about the winged lion, Xuan Hao soon turned his attention back towards the ancient scroll before starting compare the current language of the present with the one used in the past.
…
At the same time Xuan Hao was doing his first ever attempt at trying to decipher the ancient language, a large group of elders had gathered together at the Seventh Star Peak as they were talking with each other.Ñ00vl--ß1n hosted the premiere release of this chapter.
"So… The name of the sect will be the Star Shattering Sect?"
""Yes!""
The subject of these elders' conversation was the new name of the sect!
"Why… Didn't we decide on the Shattering Star Sect a few days ago… Why the sudden change!?"
"Elder Playing Ghost, we didn't do this for no reason, it was just that a few of the elders thought that the name sounded a little weak…
Calling the sect, the Shattered Star Sect, is a bit like naming it the Broken Star Sect. Shattered gives the impression of a glass constitution. Fragile and prone to breakage."
"Yeah, we just thought that it was more fitting and ended up deciding on it… Not to mention we almost kept it the name the same!"
"You guys…"
Feeling like he had been betrayed, Elder Playing Ghost looked around at the other elders with a feeling of disbelief.
He had been gone for a few days as he entered secluded cultivation to prepare for his breakthrough to the Nascent Soul Realm, yet these elders had gone and changed the name of the sect that they had decided on during his absence!
No matter what, Elder Playing Ghost felt his face darken when staring at these old fossils from both the Flying Sword Sect and the Spring Flower Sect.
"I will be entering secluded cultivation to enter the Nascent Soul Realm! Don't bother looking for me in the future!"
Whoosh~!
Before any of the elders had a chance to say anything, Elder Playing Ghost headed back into his own courtyard before shutting the door tightly.

Chapter 634 The Seventh Star Peak After 1 Year (1)
Following Shu Yao's return to the Seventh Star Peak, she barely managed to spend any time together with the blue deer before Xuan Hao showed up again. However, given that she had started getting along with the blue deer, Shu Yao felt sad that she would have to part with it so soon.
Coo!
The blue deer was similarly sad when it realized Xuan Hao was going to take it away as it cried out, whether this was due to the fact that it could understand that Shu Yao had promised it food or because it had grown attached to her. No one would know for certain unless they managed to understand the blue deer language…
"…"
Seeing this scene, Xuan Hao didn't take away the blue deer and instead decided to leave it with Shu Yao. After all, they were now part of the same sect, it didn't really matter to him where the blue deer stayed… On the other hand, the blue deer staying with Shu Yao could also be considered a good thing, as he would no longer have to think of a way to take care of it!
Like this, the blue deer ended up staying together with Shu Yao, as Xuan Hao soon took his leave again after listening to Shu Yao tell him about the visit from a member of the Sky Empire and the sect alliance's formation three years in the future.
…
Leaving the blue deer in the hands of Shu Yao, Xuan Hao soon made his way to Feng Chen, who was busy talking with a group of elders when he arrived.
"Elder Xuan? What brings you here?" Not hiding himself when he arrived, Feng Chen quickly spotted him approaching, as he quickly signalled for the elders gathered around him to leave before making his way over.
"I came because I wanted to know a bit more about the new sect you, Shu Yao and Zu Fei have been busy building over the past year. After all, the only thing I really know about so far is the new hierarchy of the sect that you came up with and the fact that it's almost complete. Other than that, I never really got a chance to learn about anything else…"
"Hm? Really?"Immerse Yourself in the Storyverse: NvεlB¡n.
"Yes…"
Seeing Feng Chen's surprised expression after hearing that he did not learn anything about the sect outside what they had talked about a few days ago, Xuan Hao could not help smiling wryly.
It was indeed rather weird for him to not really know much about the new sect. After all, he had come here more than once over the past year to help out with different things. However, at that time, he did not really think to ask about the layout of the new sect…
"I see… Well, if that is really the case, I'm more than happy to explain it to you!"
Hearing Xuan Hao really didn't know much about the new sect that he had even been helping build over the past year, Feng Chen showed an exited expression.
Explaining what they had managed to accomplish over the past year was something he had been proud of. Especially considering how much of an upgrade it would be from the Flying Sword Sect that they had been staying in so far… Of course, the same could be said for the Spring Flower Sect!
"First of all, the name of the sect changed and from now on, we will not be known as the Flying Sword Sect or the Spring Flower Sect, but instead as the Shattering Star Sect! The name was decided on by the elders from both sects and we have already begun informing the disciples about this, as in the future, they will not be disciples from the Flying Sword Sect or Spring Flower Sect, but disciples of the Shattering Star Sect!"
"If I remember correctly, the disciples would be dived into outer, inner and core disciples, with personal disciples existing somewhere outside of this."
"Indeed, we already finished constructing the places for the outer and inner disciples to stay… The only thing we need to build when it comes to the disciples, is the one for core disciples. At least, given the new qualifications required for one to become a core disciple, there won't be any core disciples for now, so we don't need to worry about this…"
Remembering the qualifications required for the different disciples, Xuan Hao could not help smiling wryly as he understood what Feng Chen meant when it came to them not having to worry about any core disciples in the soon to be future.
After all, the requirement for a core disciple was the Nascent Soul Realm! Even his disciples had not reached the Nascent Soul Realm yet, let alone any of the other disciples in the sect!
Even the requirements to become an inner disciple was rather brutal compared to the past, as it required a disciple to reach the Peak of the Foundation Establishment Realm.
Most of the older core disciples should have reached this level, with some of them even reaching the Core Formation Realm… However, there were still a few core disciples who had yet to reach the Peak of the Foundation Establishment Realm.
In the future, they would go from being a core disciple, to being an outer disciple… Just imagining their reaction, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a bit of pity towards these disciples who had once been at the peak of the Flying Sword Sect. Hopefully they would be able to increase their strength in the future and at least become inner disciples…
Thinking this, Xuan Hao looked towards Feng Chen. Wanting him to continue.
"Ehm! The disciples, outer disciples will share a simple courtyard with a few other outer disciples, inner disciples will get their own courtyard, while core disciples will get a personalized courtyard similar to what the Outer Sect Elders will get. The core disciples will just be located a bit closer to the centre of the sect."
Understanding what Xuan Hao wanted him to do, Feng Chen quickly continued from where he left off, as he explained the places the disciples and Outer Sect Elders would be staying.
Given the strength required for a normal sect elder being the Nascent Soul Realm now, it was obvious that most of the sect's current elders would end up as Outer Sect Elders in the future.
With this in mind, Feng Chen had already covered the places that most of the sect would be staying in the future.
"As for the sect elders, they will get to make their own place even closer to the centre of the sect, while the core elders will be able to build their own courtyard, palace or whatever they desire to stay in next to the lake and the same can be said for the grand elders, myself, and the Vice Sect Master. The plan is for now is that the core of the sect's strength will be staying next to the lake at the centre of the Seventh Star Peak!"
"I see, looks like I will have to find out what kind of place I would like to stay in before I can officially move in." Showing a slight grin before looking towards the lake he had made at the centre of the Seventh Star Peak, Xuan Hao did indeed notice that the area around the lake was mostly empty. The buildings that stood close to the lake when he had been there just a few days ago had seemingly vanished into thin air.
From the looks of it, it seemed like the decision of moving the core power of the sect to gather around the lake was a recent development that had happened in the short time he had visited the Main Star Peak…
However, Xuan Hao didn't mind this, as it would be a good thing for the sect's core power to be concentrated around the lake, as it would be far easier to cultivate around it when it finally filled up.
Not to mention this, it would also help mystify the lake for the disciples and make them look forward to visiting it in the future, as it would be rare for them to see it after different courtyards, palaces, pavilions, pagodas and so on, obstructed the view of the lake from what could be considered the outer part of the sect.
Already feeling like he could see how the Star Shattering Sect would look in the future, Xuan Hao could not help smiling as he looked forward to seeing it.
During the next few years, the new sect that had been born through the Flying Sword Sect and the Spring Flower Sect merging would surely experience an explosive growth period as many of the elders who had been stuck at the Peak of the Core Formation Realm for a long time got a chance to break through to the Nascent Soul Realm in the new environment of the Seventh Star Peak!

Chapter 635 The Seventh Star Peak After 1 Year (2)
Finished explaining about the places where everyone would be staying in the future, Feng Chen went on to talk about the other things that had been built up over the past year.
Among the most important things were the combat hall, a practice hall for combat-based training in different environments where the disciples could either spar with each other or practice by themselves. The combat hall was something that had existed in the Spring Flower Sect and was created by the most powerful formation master of the Spring Flower Sect, who was not only an Artisan Formation Master, but also a Peak Nascent Soul Realm Expert!
"Can we check out the combat hall?"
"Sure! It was just finished a few weeks ago and is just about to open up for disciples to start using it!"
Feeling curious about the combat hall mentioned by Feng Chen, Xuan Hao wanted to see it for himself as he quickly stopped Feng Chen before he moved on to the next thing on the list of things he had yet to learn about.
...
"So, this is the combat hall..." Landing together with Feng Chen a short time later in front of a majestic building covering a massive area, Xuan Hao could not help feeling shocked when inspecting the hundreds of different formations weaved together to form the combat hall.
Just a single glance was more than enough for him to understand that the formation master who set up the formations that made up the combat hall, was far more skilled than him when it came to formations! To be honest, Xuan Hao had a feeling that the formation master from the Spring Flower Sect was not someone who was merely in the Artisan Realm but should instead be someone closer to surpassing the Artisan Realm!
This thought alone made Xuan Hao quite happy, as he had no idea that the Spring Flower Sect had such a powerful formation master.
A formation master at that level would likely be something even the Sky Empire would be interested in, yet now the Star Shattering Sect had such a powerful formation master!
Whoosh~
Wanting to experience the combat hall for himself, Xuan Hao made his way inside before finding himself inside a massive forest in the next moment.
Touching a tree next to him, Xuan Hao could not help showing a thoughtful expression on his face.
"How interesting, the forest should be some sort of illusion formation... Yet I can actually touch and feel it like it's a real tree in front of me. The formation almost feels like it's turning illusion into reality... However, it's still easily broken through with enough strength!"
Crash~
Putting a little more strength on to the tree in front of him, Xuan Hao watched as the tree shattered together with the forest around him.
Swish~
As he had only destroyed a small part of the massive formation that made up the combat hall, the forest soon appeared again in a few minutes.
"Even if it's useless to someone in the Domain Lord Realm like myself, it should still be useful for the disciples and the elders below the Domain Lord Realm..." Muttering this to himself, Xuan Hao could not help feeling happy.
The combat hall would be able to simulate different kinds of environments for the disciples and elders to practice in. Allowing them to be prepared for any kind of environment they might end up fighting in when outside the sect.
At the same time, it should also allow those with more special combat techniques that required a specific environment to train without any problems.
This really makes me want to meet the formation master from the Spring Flower Sect...
Thinking this to himself, Xuan Hao soon made his way back together with Feng Chen who had patiently waited for him outside the combat hall. For now, he had to finish learning about the different places on the Seventh Star Peak before meeting anyone!
...
Having returned from the combat hall, Xuan Hao hurried Feng Chen to tell him more about the different places that had been constructed over the past year. Visiting the combat hall had made him excited knowing what else had been made during the past half year, as he had not been too involved in the construction of the new sect. Outside of the Chaotic Qi Formation.
Feng Chen did not disappoint his expectations, as he proudly began talking about the other different things that had been made during the past year.
First was the Alchemy Pavilion, the alchemy hall where the alchemist of the Star Shattering Sect would gather to refine the different pills, potions, and elixirs that the sect needed. At the same time, it also served as a place for the different alchemy disciples to gather a socialize with each other and discuss alchemy.
Other than the Alchemy Pavilion for the disciples practicing alchemy, there was also the Sea of a Thousand Furnaces, which was the place where the blacksmiths of the Star Shattering Sect gathered... And as the name implied, it covered a massive area. Making blacksmithing the profession that took up the most space on the Seventh Star Peak.
The Formation masters, talisman masters and the rest of the professions present inside the Star Shattering Sect had also build a place of their own on the Seventh Star Peak at this point in time, but they were far smaller when compared to the Alchemy Pavilions and the Sea of a Thousand Furnaces. The reason for this was rather simple, as there was simply far more disciples and elders practicing these two professions compared to the rest of the professions.
"... That should be the last of the different profession related buildings that have been constructed so far. Next up should be the Grand Mission Pavilion..."Ñøvl--ß1n hosted the premiere release of this chapter.
As Feng Chen finished his explanation about the different profession related buildings, Xuan Hao could not help feeling curious upon hearing the next place he started talking about.
The Grand Mission Pavilion...
From the name alone, Xuan Hao could already guess that it should be something similar to the Mission Hall from the Flying Sword Sect but given he had never really visited the Mission Hall back in the Flying Sword Sect, Xuan Hao could not help feeling interested in what the Grand Mission Pavilion was.
"The Grand Mission Pavilion is similar to the Mission Hall that you should already know about, but still quite different! The Grand Mission Pavilion is designed to not only be a place for the disciples to pick up different missions that they can complete outside and inside the sect, but is also designed to be a place for them to socialize with each other in... Of course, the Grand Mission Pavilion is also for the elders to socialize and pick up missions of their own.
For this reason, the Grand Mission Pavilion is split into two floors. The first floor is the largest and is the place where the disciples will gather to socialize or pick up missions to complete for different rewards, while the second floor is reserved for the elders to pick up missions of their own and spend some time to relax and chat with each other.
Not only that, but we also introduced a new form of contribution points that can be gained through completing missions before being recorded inside a special token. The contribution points can be used by both elders and disciples to trade and exchange for different artifacts, pills, potions, spiritual herbs, and other treasures inside the Grand Mission Pavilion."
Listening to Feng Chen's explanation of the Grand Mission Pavilion, Xuan Hao could not help nodding his head in approval, the Grand Mission Pavilion sounded like a place that would see great use in the future from what he heard so far. However, Feng Chen was not finished talking yet as he continued...
"Following the Grand Mission Pavilion, me and the rest of the elders also decided to build an open market for the disciples to trade with each other located just next to the Grand Mission Pavilion. This will be place where we also plan to have serval different restaurants for the disciples to hang out and also allow them to set up different shops of their own by paying a few contribution points."
As Feng Chen finally seemed to have come to an end explaining the Grand Mission Pavilion and the open market that would be located around it, Xuan Hao could not help wanting to visit the Grand Mission Pavilion for himself.
After all, from what Feng Chen had told him so far about it, Xuan Hao was almost certain that the Grand Mission Pavilion with the open market located around it would end up becoming the place where the disciples of the Star Shattering Sect would end up spending most of their time with the other disciples.
Even without seeing the place himself, Xuan Hao still understood just how important the Grand Mission Pavilion would become in the future!

Chapter 636 The Seventh Star Peak After 1 Year (3)
"Other than the Grand Mission Pavilion, several other important places have also been set up over the last year. By far, the most important of these other places is the Ninth Star Peak, that was transformed into a massive spiritual herb garden with the help of Shu Yao, Zu Fei, and the alchemy elders from both the Flying Sword Sect and Spring Flower Sect."
Hearing what Feng Chen said, Xuan Hao could not help remembering the Ninth Star Peak from when he had first visited together with Qing Yi and Chu Yang. Back then, the Ninth Star Peak was filled with all sorts of people searching the forest on top of the Ninth Star Peak for spiritual herbs.
Even if the spiritual herbs were rather low quality back then, things should have changed now that the chaotic qi formation was in place. Given the increase in qi at the Ninth Star Peak, it was not weird for higher quality spiritual herbs to start appearing.
From what Feng Chen said, it seemed like Shu Yao, Zu Fei and the alchemy elders had taken advantage of the fact that spiritual herbs grew naturally on the Ninth Star Peak and ended up transforming it into a massive spiritual herb garden.
In the future, the Star Shattering Sect would have more than enough spiritual herbs for the alchemist to make potions, pills, and elixirs…
The last thing on the list of important buildings in the Star Shattering Sect that Feng Chen had left for last, was the Grand Library where all the cultivation mantras, martial arts and different combat techniques were stored.
The Grand Library located close to the centre of Seventh Star Peak, was split into a total of three different floors.
The first floor was where most of the different cultivation mantras and combat techniques were located, it was also here that most of the disciples would be spending their time. The higher-level cultivation mantras of the Heaven Rank could also be found here, but it would only be the first few volumes that had been copied from the original. Not the entire thing.
The second floor of the library was different compared to the first floor of the Grand Library, as one would have to at least be a core disciple or an elder at the Nascent Soul Realm. Meaning, Outer Sect Elders were not counted as those who could enter the second floor of the grand library!
At the second floor of the library, the original copies of the different Heaven Rank Cultivation Mantras and Combat Techniques were stored and could be accessed by the sect elders and core disciples.
The Third Floor of the Grand Library was only accessible to Core Elders and above, there was not really anything stored on the third floor of the Grand Library yet, but Xuan Hao could already guess that cultivation mantras that surpassed the Heaven Rank would be stored there. Maybe special scrolls like the ones he had found in the temple of the Half Spirit Race could also be stored on the third floor of the library if he happened to get his hands on more in the future.
"Is that it?"
"Yes… That should be it for the important places and building we finished up over the past years."
Feeling a bit exhausted after having listened to Feng Chen talking for the past few hours, Xuan Hao let out a sigh of relief after hearing that the explanation was finally finished.
Even if he was interested in all these important places on the Seventh Star Peak and the Ninth Star Peak. Listening to Feng Chen talking for an extended period of time quickly became rather exhausting mentally. Especially considering how boring things started getting towards the end…
"If that was all, I will be taking my leave for now and find out where to settle down on the Seventh Star Peak."
Following a quick farewell, Xuan Hao didn't stay around for much longer before leaving.
Given that he planned to move his three disciples to the Seventh Star Peak given how much better it would be for them to cultivate there, Xuan Hao directly made his way towards his pavilion back at the Flying Sword Sect.
Planning to ask his disciples what kind of place they would prefer to stay when moving before starting to build anything.
…
"G-Grand Elder… Are you sure we should try going outside? The increase in qi is not something bad and it won't hurt to stay and wait until we become stronger!"
"No! We have to find out the reason for the sudden increase in qi between heaven and earth! From what was recorded and written down by our ancestors, something like this happening is either due to some powerful expert ascending, the appearance of a powerful artifact or a powerful qi gathering formation! No matter which one it is, it is highly likely something that will end up endangering all of us!"
At the same time Xuan Hao was making his way back towards the Flying Sword Sect, a short old man shook off the hands of an equally small young man who was trying to hold him back.
From a glance, it was obvious that these two people were members of the Half Spirit Race that lived in the Eighth Star Peak. The old man was the great elder Xuan Hao had talked to when he had visited, while the young man was a recently appointed elder of the Half Spirit Race who had just recently broken through to the Nascent Soul Realm.
"But Grand Elder… Our ancestors clearly warned us to never go outside unless someone manages to ascend successfully! If we do go out before this, the ancestors clearly warned us about the experts of the human race which is currently in charge of the Ewaria Continent taking action to wipe us out!"
"Bah! You worry far too much! Do you really think such a transcendent expert would really bother with our race which doesn't even have a single expert at the Domain Lord Realm? Not to mention, all those experts should be located at the centre of the continent. Not anywhere near where we are currently!"
Rolling his eyes at the young elders worry, the old man who was in charge of the Half Spirit Race waved his hand and sealed up the young elder to prevent him from causing any more trouble before slowly beginning his ascend out of the valley hidden away inside the Eighth Star Peak.
"Grand Elder!"
Not able to stop the Grand Elder from leaving to find out what was going on outside, the young elder could only let go as he anxiously stared towards the Grand Elder slowly getting closer and closer to the outside world.
Even if the Grand Elder was someone who had already reached Half a Step into the Domain Lord Realm and had already condensed a pseudo domain, the young elder understood very well just how weak the Grand Elder was when compared to the powerful experts described in the ancient texts written by his ancestors.
Back when the Half Spirit Race was considered to be at their pinnacle and could move around outside without having to worry about another race coming along and wiping them out, there had been hundreds of experts in the Soul Ascension Realm according to the ancient records.
However, this was not what had made the Half Spirit Race stand tall in the world back then. Instead, it was the presence of three transcendent experts who had successfully managed to surpass the Soul Ascension Realm!
Only with an expert above the Soul Ascension Realm could a race truly keep itself safe in the world.
Considering that the Half Spirit Race had three such experts in the past, their position in the world could be considered stable… However, this all changed when a cataclysmic war erupted in the past.
The war had not only split the world up, but had also ended up killing the three transcendent experts from the Half Spirit Race… Back then, the few surviving experts of the Half Spirit Race had used an ancient teleportation formation to come to the Eighth Star Peak to seek refuge and hide away until another transcendent expert could emerge from the Half Spirit Race. Allowing them to appear in the world once again!
However, none of this had happened and the Half Spirit Race had instead ended up starting a slow decline until the strongest expert left had not even reached the Domain Lord Realm.
The young elder was among the few members of the Half Spirit Race who knew about this part of their history, as he had dedicated his entire life to understanding the ancient records of his race, while at the same time keeping them intact before he broke through to the Nascent Soul Realm and became an elder.
For this reason, the young elder was extremely nervous when watching the Grand Elder making his way outside their small safe space, as he full well understood the dangers of the outside world from the ancient records, he had spent his entire life reading through.Immerse Yourself in the Storyverse: NvεlB¡n.

Chapter 637 Potential New Sect Members
Bang~!
"What is this…?" Reaching the top and just about to leave the valley inside the Eighth Star Peak, the Grand Elder of the Half Spirit Race could not help showing a bewildered expression as he felt an intangible barrier blocking his path forward. Preventing him from reaching the outside world
Trying to touch the barrier and finding out that it only stopped his path forward without harming him, the Grand Elder of the Half Spirit Race tried going around it-
Bang!
However, this was to no avail, as the intangible barrier covered all ways out of the valley inside the Eighth Star Peak. Even trying to destroy the barrier did not yield any results, as his strength at the Half a Step into the Domain Lord Realm, could not even shake the intangible barrier that prevented him from leaving the Eighth Star Peak.
"Is this perhaps a barrier set up by our ancestors…?" Not knowing who had set up the barrier, but still understanding that the barrier did not seem to harm him, the Grand Elder could only think that the barrier was something that his ancestor had set up in the past to prevent them from leaving for the outside world before they were strong enough.
The reason why an outsider like Xuan Hao could enter, was most likely because the barrier had to do so to prevent the barrier from being found easily by any powerful existences that would pass by the Eighth Star Peak.
In the Grand Elder's eyes, this was not too unreasonable, as he could only give up on leaving to investigate what was happening in the outside world.Unravel the Unknown, Unleash the Unimaginable: NvεlB¡n.
Whoosh~
Not wasting any more time standing in front of the barrier, the Grand Elder made his way back towards the young elder anxiously staring up towards him from the ground below.
From his expression alone, the Grand Elder could tell how nervous the young elder had been when he had seen him trying to leave earlier!
"Haaaah… It looks like our ancestors don't want me to leave either, looks like we won't be able to find out what is happening outside for now!"
"Yes!" Nodding his head happily after seeing the Grand Elder giving up on leaving for the dangerous outside world, the young elder did not even bother hiding his happiness.
"… Inform everyone in the town that they should focus on cultivating. The increase in qi between heaven and earth is a great thing and should be able to help everyone improve! Not to mention, we have no idea when the density of qi between heaven and earth will start decreasing again…" Not knowing what to say when he saw the young elder's beaming smile, the Grand Elder only let out a sigh inside his head before saying this.
The increase in qi between heaven and earth was not something that would happen every day and his people had to take advantage of this, himself included!
Maybe, the Half Spirit Race would finally be able to give birth to a Domain Lord Realm Expert after so many years of decline!
"I will enter secluded cultivation trying to break through, inform the rest of the elders not to disturb me during this period of time!"
Swish-!
Knowing that he himself was the one with the highest chance of reaching the Domain Lord Realm among the people of his race, the Grand Elder did not waste any time. Directly rushing towards his home before entering secluded cultivation. Trying his best to break through to the Domain Lord Realm.
As he had no clue what level of strength was required to break through the barrier blocking him for leaving, the Grand Elder of the Half Spirit Race felt even more motivated to try and reach the Domain Lord Realm.
After all, the barrier set up by his ancestors might have weakened over the years… Maybe him reaching the Domain Lord Realm would be enough to break through it!
…
"Hm? Looks like someone from the Half Spirit Race tried leaving!"
Having returned to his pavilion back at the Flying Sword Sect, Xuan Hao suddenly muttered this to himself while staring in the direction of the Shattered Star Peaks.
Back when he had left the Eighth Star Peak, he had made sure to put down a seal on the place with his Domain Lord level strength. Preventing anyone below the Domain Lord Realm from entering the place by accident, while also making sure that anyone forcefully trying to break through the seal would end up notifying him.
Just now, Xuan Hao had clearly felt the seal he had left in place being attacked. However, different from his expectations, the one attacking it was not someone trying to break through the seal from the outside but was instead someone from the inside trying to break through the seal to leave.
Unexpectedly, Xuan Hao realized that he had accidently ended up sealing the Half Spirit Race off inside the valley of the Eighth Star Peak…
"But… For them to suddenly try and leave, it should be related to the chaotic qi formation increasing the qi between heaven and earth!"
Not taking too long to realize why the Half Spirit Race, that had lived in peace in the same place without moving for thousands of years suddenly wanted to go outside, Xuan Hao could not help smiling a bit wryly.
After leaving the Half Spirit Race back then, he had told the Grand Elder about having him join his sect. However, in the end he had not been able to do so, as the construction of the new sect drew most of his attention.
Now over a year had passed and the Half Spirit Race was still stuck inside the valley that was hidden away deep inside the Eighth Star Peak…
"Now that I think about it, I should inform Elder Song about this and have him officially integrate the Half Spirit Race into the Star Shattering Sect…" Muttering this to himself as he felt a pang of guilt from forgetting about them, Xuan Hao directly left his pavilion before finding Elder Song to inform him about the Half Spirit Race and have him come up with a way to integrate them into the Star Shattering Sect.
In the end, Elder Song did not take too long to come up with a way, as he soon rushed towards the Shattered Star Peak before Xuan Hao had even finished explaining what little he knew about the Half spirit Race.
It was easy to see that Elder Song was excited about the prospect of a brand-new race like the Half Spirit Race joining the Star Shattering Sect. Especially after knowing how strong they were.
Even if they didn't have any Domain Lord Realm Experts, the number of Nascent Soul Realm Experts in the Half Spirit Race was nothing to scoff at, as it would help the Star Shattering Sect get a batch of new elders at the Nascent Soul Realm for free.
Not to mention, the Grand Elder was someone at the Peak of the Nascent Soul Realm and would be qualified to become a Core Elder!
In the current Star Shattering Sect where there was still a rather large lack of normal elders and core elders who would do some of the more difficult work, the Half Spirit Race was like a blessing, something that would help the Star Shattering Sect more quickly stabilize themselves before beginning the more important expansion of the sect's influence outside the now gone Heavenly Sky Kingdom!
…
Not trying to stop Elder Song as he left towards the Shattered Star Peaks, Xuan Hao understood full well that the current Flying Sword Sect was more than fine without Elder Song for a few days. Especially considering the fact most of the Flying Sword Sect's disciples and elders had already started moving towards the Seventh Star Peak.
At this point in time, the Flying Sword Sect was almost fully operational as a branch of the Star Shattering Sect and would soon be able to operate without the oversight of someone like Elder Song.
Even if it was far emptier compared to what it was before the Star Shattering Sect, Xuan Hao understood that this would change in the future when the Star Shattering Sect started accepting disciples from outside their currently small territory.
To be honest, it would not be surprising if the Flying Sword Sect now turned branch, ended up growing even larger given how close it would be to the main sect.
Whoosh~
Not thinking about this for too long, Xuan Hao soon left the empty pavilion that he and Elder Song had met up in before making his way back to his own pavilion.
Now, all that was left for him to do in the Flying Sword Sect was getting his disciples ready to move to the Seventh Star Peak.
Building the place where he would be staying with them was something that would at most take a few days, if not hours after being decided.
Not like Feng Chen's pavilion that was mysteriously delayed several times for unknown reason as he was forced to continue staying with Zu Fei. Even at this point in time, the pavilion had still not been rebuilt…

Chapter 638 New Home
After returning back to his own pavilion and informing his disciples about moving to the Seventh Star Peak, a few weeks passed by before officially moving from the Flying Sword Sect to the Star Shattering Sect on top of the Seventh Star Peak.
"This… Is larger than I expected…"
However, upon arriving at the place where they were supposed to stay from now on, Xuan Hao could not help frowning upon discovering what could only be described as a small, yet majestic palace appeared in front of him.
Remembering how he had asked a few of the elders to help him get the construction done, while making sure to include a few things his disciples had requested for, like an alchemy room for Qing Yi or a room for forging artifacts in Bai Ning's case, Xuan Hao did not know how to react after discovering that the elders of the sect had ended up making a palace for him instead of the small manor or pavilion he had expected for them to make…
"So majestic, this is where we will be living from now on?!"
"Such a large room for forging artifacts, it's at least five times larger than the one I used at the Blacksmithing Hall before!"
"There is even a small garden for growing spiritual herbs…"
Compared to Xuan Hao who had no idea how to react after discovering that the elders had made a palace for him to stay in, his three disciples excitedly entered the palace before exploring the place together.
"To think I would be able to stay in a place like this, will I be able to keep this place clean by myself…?" Zhi Ruo who would also be living in the place was similarly shocked, but also showed a worried expression after realizing she would be the only servant present to make sure that the palace in front of her was kept clean.
Even if she had managed to increase her strength and break through to the Foundation Establishment Realm over the past year after she immersed herself in the art of tea brewing, it would still be hard for her to keep such a large place clean all by herself…
"In the future, feel free to recruit a few more servants if you need to."
"Thank you, Elder Xuan!"
Seeing the worried expression on Zhi Ruo's face after seeing the palace, Xuan Hao understood what she was thinking, as he allowed her to recruit more servants if needed, something Zhi Ruo happily accepted before she also entered the palace to explore her new home together with the rest of his disciples.
"…"
Seeing that everyone was excited about the palace that they would be staying in, Xuan Hao decided not to think about it too much, as he decided to similarly explore his new home together with his disciples and Zhi Ruo.
Not a long after having explored the small palace, Xuan Hao, his disciples and Zhi Ruo fully settled into their new home beside the lake that was only filled by a few centimeters at the centre of the Seventh Star Peak.
…
Following Xuan Hao settling into his new home together with his disciples, time slowly started passing.
On the outside, the Star Shattering Sect's name began spreading among the kingdoms and powerful sects located close to what had once been the Heavenly Sky Kingdom.
The news of a sect with more than one Domain Lord Realm appearing was more than enough to scare all of these kingdoms and sects bordering the territory of the brand-new sect called the Star Shattering Sect.
All of them understood very clearly that a powerful sect like the Star Shattering Sect would start expanding at some point in the future after consolidating their strength. At that point in time, they would inevitably have to fight with the Star Shattering Sect if they wanted to keep the territory they controlled, something that was easier said than done in an area where a Domain Lord Realm Expert was considered an existence only spoken of in legends…
For this reason, the sects and kingdoms located close to the Star Shattering Sect decided to either take everything precious they had with them before escaping to a different area to rebuild in a place far away from the Star Shattering Sect.
The weaker sects and kingdoms that did not have confidence in doing something like this tried to join the Star Shattering Sect before they started expanding. After all, in the world that they were living in, it was not a bad thing to be under someone powerful. Especially if that someone was a powerful sect with more than one Domain Lord!
"Are you really sure that we should try and join the Star Shattering Sect? Even if they have more than one Domain Lord, our grand master is also close to breaking through to the Domain Lord Realm. At that point in time, even if the Star Shattering Sect wants to expand, they would still have to avoid us!"
"Hm… Indeed, we will wait and see if the grand master can break through before deciding. Not to mention, the strength of the Star Shattering Sect might be embellished!"
However, in the end, the Star Shattering Sect was far too unknown for the more powerful kingdoms and sects. Most of them only knowing about the Heavenly Sky Kingdom that had collapsed not too long ago and the fact that it had a few powerful sects under it.
Not to mention the fact that most of the kingdoms and sects had never even seen anyone from the Star Shattering Sect, it was obvious that they would not just concede their territory just because of a few rumours that it was a sect with more than a single Domain Lord in it.
Even if the rumours were true, most of these powerful kingdoms and sects already had elders who were Half a Step into the Domain Lord Realm.
After the news of the powerful Star Shattering Sect, all of these powerful elders had entered secluded cultivation to try and break through to the Domain Lord Realm.
As long as their elder managed to reach the Domain Lord Realm, they would not have to worry about the Star Shattering Sect. This was the thought passing through many of these powerful kingdoms, sects, and ancient family clans close to the Star Shattering Sect.
Of course, the Star Shattering Sect did not care about all the things that was taking place in the outside world at the moment, as something far more important had been taking place inside the Star Shattering Sect over the past few months following Xuan Hao and his disciple moving to the Seventh Star Peak.
The thing in question was… The integration of the Half Spirit Race into the sect!
…
A few months earlier, after Xuan Hao had informed Elder Song about the Half Spirit Race and his conversation with the Grand Elder of the Half Spirit Race about them joining the Star Shattering Sect, Elder Song had rushed towards the Shattered Star Peak to meet the Grand Elder of the Half Spirit Race and talk about this.
"This is the Eighth Star Peak…?"
Seeing the massive mountain towering above the clouds in the distance, Elder Song could not help marvelling at the sheer size of the mountains inside the Shattered Star Peaks. Each and every one of them were simply massive, like a territory the size of a small kingdom had been forcefully pulled from the ground by an all-powerful god.
The size of the Star Peaks was far beyond any mountain Elder Song had ever seen before in his life! Even if he had been to the Shattered Star Peaks before, he still felt the same amazement whenever he laid his eyes upon the massive mountains that made up the Shattered Star Peaks.Ñ00vl--ß1n hosted the premiere release of this chapter.
"The Half Spirit Race mentioned by Elder Xuan should be hidden inside a valley that is located inside the Eighth Star Peak. According to him, the entrance of the valley should be located at the top of the Eighth Star Peak…" Muttering this to himself, Elder Song could not help glancing up the Eighth Star Peak.
Although the Eighth Star Peak had its peak destroyed according to legend like the rest of the Star Peaks, even with his strength at the Nascent Soul Realm, Elder Song did still not manage to see the top of the mountain in front of him.
"Looks like this will be a long journey. At least the formation Elder Xuan set up removed the chaotic qi that would have prevented me from making this journey in the past… Hah… I have no idea if I should thank Elder Xuan or curse him for doing this…" Saying this to himself as he glanced up the mountain that seemingly pierced through the heavens above, Elder Song felt a bit regretful that he had not asked Elder Xuan to help get him up the mountain.
After all, Elder Xuan could just fly up the mountain, while he would still have to walk up the mountain… Even if he was a Nascent Soul Realm Expert, this would still take quite some time to accomplish…

Chapter 639 Elder Song's Visit to the Half Spirit Race
"So, this is the valley where the Half Spirit Race is staying…?"
Reaching the top of the Eighth Star Peak, Elder Song could not help feeling amazed when staring down the massive hole at the peak of the mountain, a small valley barely being visible below.
Whoosh~
Not thinking too much after seeing the valley below him, Elder Song didn't wait for even a moment before jumping down towards the valley below. Not forgetting to use a mystic technique to slow down his fall.
After all, injuring himself jumping down from a high place would be rather embarrassing considering the fact that he was a Nascent Soul Realm Expert…
Thump!Ñøvl--ß1n hosted the premiere release of this chapter.
Landing on the ground after falling for a few minutes without a single scratch, Elder Song began to inspect his surroundings with great interest. Not taking long to discover the small town located a few miles away from the place he landed.
The town was not like any town he had ever seen before, as the buildings and people were far smaller than ordinary humans, their strength also far surpassed that of normal humans, as even the weakest inhabitants inside the town had reached the Qi Condensation Realm. Not one among them could be considered a normal mortal.
From this fact alone, Elder Song realized just how great their potential for cultivation was, as he felt even more determined to have the Half Spirit Race join the Star Shattering Sect.
Whoosh-!
However, before he managed to make his way towards the town of the Half Spirit Race in the distance, a terrifying divine sense descended from above-
Boom-!
Soon enveloping him from head to toe, while also forcing him to the ground. Not allowing him to take a single step forward!
"Who are you and why have you come here?!"
"I'm an elder of the Flying Sword Sect and I'm here on behalf of Elder Xuan to talk with the Grand Elder of the Half Spirit Race!" Not daring to waste any time after hearing the voice being transmitted to him through the powerful divine sense, Elder Song quickly answered the question.
Introducing himself as an elder of the Flying Sword Sect instead of the Star Shattering Sect, as he understood that the meeting between the Half Spirit Race and Elder Xuan happened before the Flying Sword Sect and the Spring Flower Sect had merged together to form the Star Shattering Sect.
If he said he was from the Star Shattering Sect instead of the Flying Sword Sect, the person currently supressing him might think he was lying and end up killing him even after he mentioned Elder Xuan!
Even if the chance of this happening was low, Elder Song did not want to take the risk if it could be avoided…
"Elder Xuan… Flying Sword Sect… Ah! The human expert who came here little over a year ago! I'm sorry for the impolite greeting…" Seemingly thinking about it for a short moment, the person who had suppressed him quickly lifted the suppression that had forced Elder Song to the ground before appearing in front of him and apologizing for how he had supressed Elder Song to the ground the moment he landed inside the valley. Clearly, the other party was somewhat fearful when mentioning Xuan Hao…
"No need to apologise, I understand how you must feel if a stranger suddenly shows up out of the blue. Now, you should already have some idea about why I'm here…" Shaking his head, Elder Song said this before moving the conversation towards the matter he had come to the Eighth Star Peak for.
"Thank you and of course I do, let's move to the town so I can gather the rest of the elders of my race. After all, this matter is something that concerns the future of my race…"
"No problem at all!"
Understanding full well how serious this matter was for the Half Spirit Race, Elder Song soon made his way towards the small town in the distance together with the Grand Elder of the Half Spirit race.
During his approach to the town, Elder Song learned a lot of different things about the Half Spirit Race from the Grand Elder. For example, he learned that Xuan Hao had not appeared in front of them and that he would be the first human the rest of the Half Spirit Race saw in their life!
At the same time, he also told the Grand Elder about what had happened to the Flying Sword Sect and the fact that they had merged together with another powerful sect to form the Star Shattering Sect.
Not forgetting to mention the seal above that Xuan Hao had put in place… Something that the Grand Elder was rather surprised hearing about as he remembered how he had ended up smashing head first into the seal in question just a few days earlier…
"Who is that?"
"He is so big! Even my dad isn't that huge!"
"An outsider?!"
"A member of another race! Is he perhaps here to attack us?!"
"Dummy! Can't you see the Grand Elder next to him?"
Given that he already understood that he was the first human the people inside the town saw, Elder Song was not too surprised after noticing everyone from grown adults to children flocking over curiously when he approached the town together with the Grand Elder. The children curious about how large he was compared to them, while the adults were a bit more cautious.
Only after noticing the Grand Elder next to him, did these older members of the Half Spirit Race calm down before showing a curious expression similar to the children of the town.
"I will be back shortly."
Disappearing after reaching the town to discuss with the elders of the Half Spirit Race before beginning the talk with him about the future of the Half Spirit Race, the Grand Elder of the Half Spirit Race instructed a young elder who had just reached the Nascent Soul Realm to keep him company during this time.
The young elder in question was at first sceptical and only after talking with Elder Song for a little over an hour did, he start relaxing.
At the time that the grand elder and a few of the older elders appeared, Elder Song had already ended up getting acquainted to a rather interesting young elder from the Half Spirit Race.
The simple reason for this, being the fact that both of them shared quite a few similarities when it came to their interests. In fact, Elder Song even had a feeling that the young elder from the Half Spirit Race would be a perfect match for the position of a record keeper in the Star Shattering Sect.
The job of a record keeper who had to record the history of the sect for future generations and keep a record on different events happening in the past and present.
Tedious, boring, and an often-forgotten role in a large sect, faction, kingdom, or empire.
However, the young elder from the Half Spirit Race was extremely enthusiastic about ancient records, while also respecting his ancestors for the records they wrote down for him and future generation of his race to remember, to the point he had even started writing down the important events taking place inside the small valley he had spent his entire life inside.
For this reason, Elder Song was more than satisfied when he heard that the elders of the Half Spirit Race had decided that before the Half Spirit Race fully decided to integrate into the Star Shattering Sect, they would have one of their elders go with him to observe the situation of the sect first.
After discussing the final details of the matter with elders of the Half Spirit Race, it was decided that the elder that would follow him back to the Star Shattering Sect would be the young elder that had just recently broken through to the Nascent Soul Realm.
"I will be going to the outside world…?"
The person in question was taken aback by this, as he could only stare upwards towards the only path leading out of the valley inside the Eighth Star Peak with a bewildered expression on his face.
Very obviously, the young elder had not expected that he would be the first person in his race to leave the valley they had all spent their entire lives inside and enter the outside world.
"Yes! Let's get going!"
Not wasting any time after the decision was made, Elder Song and the young elder from the Half Spirit Race soon made their way out of the Eighth Star Peak before moving towards the Seventh star Peak where the Star Shattering Sect was located.
After Elder Song returned from the Half Spirit Race together with the young elder, the rest of the Star Shattering Sect quickly learned about the Half Spirit Race and only a few months later, the integration of the Half Spirit Race into the Star Shattering Sect officially began!

Chapter 640 Chu Yang, Peak of the Core Formation Realm
During the time that the Half Spirit Race started to integrate into the Star Shattering Sect, Xuan Hao's disciples didn't slack off, as the one who made the most improvements after moving to the Seventh Star Peak was Chu Yang.
Not one to slack off or focus on any professions on the side like the other two, Chu Yang managed to break through from the Seventh Stage of the Core Formation Realm all the way up to the Ninth Stage of the Core Formation Realm. Allowing him to only be a single step away from the Nascent Soul Realm!
The fact that Chu Yang managed to reach the Peak of the Core Formation Realm did not escape the eyes of Xuan Hao, as Xuan Hao was already looking forward to his first disciple breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm.
Given how the system had operated in the past, he could already guess that he would get some sort of reward from the first disciple breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm!
However, breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm was still something that was dangerous and could end up killing his disciple if he was careless. For this reason, Xuan Hao decided to dedicate most of his time to helping Chu Yang improve and strengthen his foundation before allowing him to break through and face the Cloud Tribulation.
After all, if his foundation was not strong enough, he would only end up facing the Bronze or Silver Cloud Tribulation… And, compared to the Bronze or Silver Cloud Tribulations, the quality change the Golden Cloud Tribulation brought to the soul was far better and would at the same time help increase his chances of reaching the Domain Lord Realm in the future!
The main reason for this, was that it would be relatively hard to improve one's soul more after having reached the Peak of the Nascent Soul Realm. At that point in time, the improvement brought to the soul by the Golden Cloud Tribulation might end up being the crucial part that would help one comprehend a pseudo domain and officially take the first step towards the Domain Lord Realm!
Even if he was not really too worried about Chu Yang being able to reach the Domain Lord Realm in the future with his help, it would still be better for him if he could go through the Golden Cloud Tribulation and improve the strength of his soul.
The only thing that somewhat worried him, was the fact that the core inside his disciple's dantian was red instead of the normal golden colour.
Even after investigating the situation with his divine sense in the past, he could not find anything wrong with the core outside of it being far stronger than a normal Peak Core Formation Realm Expert.Ñøvl--ß1n hosted the premiere release of this chapter.
However, this time around, he managed to pick up the slight presence of the dao of blood from the blood red core. The presence of the dao of blood was not because Chu Yang had comprehended the dao of blood, but instead seemed to be due to his disciple having absorbed some sort of qi that had either been from an expert that had practiced the dao of blood or a special kind of natural blood qi.
This should also be what had caused his core to be blood red, while at the same time being far stronger than other Peak Core Formation Realm Experts.
In the end, Xuan Hao could not figure out where the presence of the dao of blood attached to the core inside his disciple's dantian had come from and he could only keep an eye on the situation and see how it would develop for now.
At the very least, he could tell that the presence of the dao of blood inside his disciple's dantian did not have any negative effects on him. On the other hand, it would allow him to comprehend the dao of blood more easily in the future…
Comprehending the dao of blood together with the dao of the spear was not a bad thing… But Xuan Hao felt worried that his disciple might end up in a similar situation as him with two domains. Forcing him to merge them together before he would be capable of reaching the Soul Ascension Realm.
For this reason, Xuan Hao not only spent more time to teach Chu Yang so he could reach the Nascent Soul Realm more safely when the time came, but also to keep an eye on the situation inside his dantian.
…
"… And that should be it for today. Hm? do you have any questions?" Ending another lesson in how to strengthen his dantian and the core inside it in preparation for the Nascent Soul Realm, Xuan Hao realized Chu Yang looked like he wanted to say something.
"Master, when do you think my foundation will be strong enough for me to break through to the Nascent Soul Realm?" Showing a somewhat nervous expression when saying this, it was clear to Xuan Hao that Chu Yang had been somewhat taken aback by the fact that he had made him stop improving his cultivation realm and instead focus on improving his foundation before increasing his cultivation realm any further.
Thinking about it, this was understandable. Especially given the fact that Chu Yang had spent most of his time trying to improve his cultivation realm. The time he had spent improving his foundation without increasing his cultivation realm at the same time could be considered close to non-existent.
Given how important it would be for one to make sure one's foundation was strong enough before breaking through from the Nascent Soul Realm and onwards, Xuan Hao wanted to make sure that Chu Yang understood the importance of making sure his foundation was stable.
After all, the last thing he wanted was for his disciple to end up improving too fast and end up entering qi deviation…
"Hm… I think you should be able to do so in a year. Maybe faster depending on how hard you work." Answering Chu Yang's question after having thought about what kind of thoughts might be going through his head, Xuan Hao found the shocked expression on Chu Yang's face after hearing this quite funny.
Not to mention an entire year without improving his cultivation realm, Chu Yang had properly not gone half a year without improving his cultivation realm after becoming his disciple!
For this reason, the shock Chu Yang felt after hearing his master say he should focus on his foundation for the next year without breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm was massive. Not to mention, he also felt worried that Qing Yi might catch up to him during this period of time he would have to focus on improving his foundation in preparation to break through to the Nascent Soul Realm.
Even worse, Qing Yi might even break through to the Nascent Soul Realm before him!
No, this can't do! I will have to work extra hard so I can break through to the Nascent Soul Realm faster, I can't let Qing Yi reach the Nascent Soul Realm before me!
"Master, I will work extra hard to quickly improve my foundation and reach the Nascent Soul Realm!" Feeling like a new wave of energy washed over him after thinking about Qing Yi breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm before him, Chu Yang quickly rushed back towards his cultivation room to strengthen his foundation. Not wanting to waste even a single second!
"…"
Not knowing what to see after seeing Chu Yang so fired up about improving his foundation, Xuan Hao could only shake his head before leaving the training ground and making his way towards Bai Ning's forging room a short distance away from the training ground.
Even if he put most of his focus on Chu Yang due to the fact that he was close to reaching the Nascent Soul Realm, Xuan Hao didn't neglect his other two disciples, as he made sure they would also improve in both their cultivation and professions.
Because of this, Xuan Hao had even used a large portion of his free time to learn new potion and pills recipes for alchemy that he could teach Qing Yi, while also learning blacksmithing so he could properly teach Bai Ning without having to worry about him asking any questions that he would not be able to answer.
Although his blacksmithing had yet to reach the Artisan Realm like his alchemy, he had still managed to reach the Peak of the Expert Realm and was quite close to becoming an Artisan Blacksmithing.
The main reason he had been able to improve his blacksmithing so quickly and even get close to becoming an Artisan Blacksmith in less than a year, was due to a few quests from the system that had him help Bai Ning in improving his skills as a blacksmith.
Even if the quests didn't directly help him become an Artisan Blacksmith, Xuan Hao was more than happy that he was able to improve so quickly.
