Everyone suddenly felt uneasy and restless. The soldiers had no idea why, but the stronger individuals like Ben, Zeref and the Spriggan 12 knew the reason because this. Acnologia had finally come to the battlefield and his aura was causing this uneasy feeling.
"Well Zeref, this is getting interesting, don't you think so?" Ben asked with a grin.
"I don't know what's so interesting about this." Zeref replied with a serious expression.
Ben's grin became wider when he saw Zeref's expression. It's really fun to see your nemesis feel despair even if it's just a little. The Spriggan 12 also look pissed off with Ben for causing Acnologia to come here this fast.
"Damn bastard really needed to make this more complicated." Ajeel muttered.
Larcade smiled and said, "Don't worry, we still have a chance. But we can't hold back anymore, we need to go all out."
"He's right. August, Irene, time to unleash your full power. Don't worry about the consequences. As for you soldiers, leave! You will just hinder us and die needless deaths." Zeref ordered.
The soldiers follow his orders because they knew they couldn't do anything here. So they leave and go to Vistarion. They don't plan on just giving up though because they prepared their weapons in Vistarion. Zeref came up with a plan, so the soldiers knew they weren't just retreating from the war.
Ben ignored whatever they were doing and just looked far to the west. He grinned when he saw a silhouette appear on the barren land. It was quite a surprise because Ben never thought Acnologia would appear in human form.
"Well, well, well, looks like someone is enjoying his human form." Ben said with a grin.
Zeref and the Spriggan 12 look at Acnologia as he got closer to them. Now they can understand why Zeref was worried about him his whole life. They can feel the horrifying magic power coming out of his body that they've never felt come out of anyone else.
"3 dragons, 2 with familiar scents." Acnologia said while looking at Ben, Irene and zombie God Serena.
Acnologia then looked at Ben's left hand and frowned because he remembered Ben losing his left hand in their last fight.
"Don't recognize me?" Ben asked while raising his left hand.
"Maybe this will jog your memory." Ben suddenly dispelled the left hand he made with Arc of Embodiment.
"Now I remember you. You're the one who fought me twice." Acnologia said with a angry expression.
"Good, it seems you haven't gone senile, old man." Ben nodded mockingly.
Acnologia doesn't really understand it and just ignored it. Then he looks at Irene and grins because recognizes her and she clearly remembers him. Both of them met in the past when the dragons were still alive.
"The mother of Dragon Slayers. I will make sure to kill you here." Acnologia said with a wide grin.
"Do you think I will let you do that?" Irene asked with a smile.
Acnologia just smirked before looking at zombie God Serema who also grinned back at him. God Serena was excited to fight Acnologia because he defected to the Alvarez Empire just to find and fight Acnologia. He wants to show that he's the one who deserves the title of Dragon King.
Although he is weaker now because he's no longer alive, God Serena still had the desire to kill Acnologia. He won't be a true Dragon Slayer without slaying a single dragon. He had been defeated by Ben, but he still thinks he has a chance against Acnologia, especially now when some strong people fight alongside him.
Ben knew what God Serena was thinking right now and it compelled him to try and laugh. When he lost to Ben while having his full power, God Serena should've realized he doesn't stand a chance against Acnologia. But the prideful God Serena thought that his compatibility with Ben was bad, so he lost, and it might be a different case with Acnologia.
The three different sides look at each other from three different spots. Acnologia looked at Zeref and the Spriggan 12 for a while before he calmly walked towards them. Ben just stood there watching because he doesn't have a reason to stop his enemies from killing each other.
The Spriggan 12 prepared to fight, but then their eyes widened because Acnologia vanished. Ben can see him clearly because Acnologia wasn't too fast for him. He wasn't too fast for even the Spriggan 12, they were just too intimidated by his presence to react.
Acnologia appeared behind zombie God Serena who now had his heart ripped out. The Spriggan 12 were surprised because he could move past them easily and kill one of them just like that. Their bodies stiffen a bit because they can still feel the pressure of Acnologia's magic power.
August and Irene were the only ones that weren't affected, but there's nothing they can do against Acnologia. Zeref suddenly snapped his fingers and woke them up from their daze. He uses his magic to release them from Acnologia's pressure.
The Spriggan 12 are now sweating while gasping for air. Acnologia's presence was that overwhelming for them. This was the first time they felt such an ominous presence that can destroy the world just by being there.
"Acnologia, you really had to come here, didn't you?" Zeref angrily asked.
"I smelled death and destruction along with the Dragon Slayer that piqued my interest. There's no way I won't come to cause more destruction." Acnologia said while looking at Ben with a ominous grin.
Ben grinned back and taunted Acnologia with a finger. Acnologia's grin became wider as he rushed towards Ben at high speed. He tried to do the same thing he did to zombie God Serena, but he wasn't fast enough to do it to Ben.
Ben grabbed his wrist before he struck his chest. Acnologia grinned in excitement and so did Ben as he can now match Acnologia's power while both of them were in human form. A pair of one-handed men were grinning while looking menacingly at each other now.
Neither of them said a word before they release their immense magic power. The clash between their magic power caused turbulence in the air and shook the ground. A very strong earthquake and storm are suddenly generated as a result of their clash.
The Spriggan 12 were surprised by Ben's power. They didn't realize he possessed this much magic power. He hid it really well and didn't use much of it before. He was holding back while facing the Alvarez Empire.
"They are the real monsters." August said while protecting himself and the remainder of the Spriggan 12 from the impact with a magic barrier.
"Since they're busy, isn't this a good time to attack them?" Wall asked.
"You're right, let's use this opportunity to our advantage." Larcade said before performing some cheesy movements like he was beginning a ritual.
"Pleasure!" Larcade chanted.
Suddenly, numerous tentacles emerged from the ground around Ben and Acnologia. The tentacles wrap around their feet and climb their bodies until they reach their heads. Then the tentacles suddenly glow pink and cause them to feel a strange sensation.
"The hell? Why do I suddenly feel horny?" Ben asked with a dumbfound expression.
Acnologia also felt the same thing, but he seemed to suffer a lot more than Ben. But after a while, Acnologia stopped reacting and then he ate the tentacles. Ben's sword, which was hard suddenly became soft because the sight of Acnologia eating the tentacles was gross.
He didn't want to see it again, so he burned the tentacles off him and got away. It would be different if those were octopus tentacles, but those tentacles look disgusting. Ben wouldn't eat them even though he had eaten a lot of strange things before.
Larcade seemed to be surprised and so did the other members of the Spriggan 12. Zeref proceeded to inform them that Acnologia is immune to all magic except Dragon Slayer Magic. He had to tell them that after they carried out, not before Larcade attacked the two.
Well, the fact is Zeref hoped Larcade's attack would work. White Arts are not the same as normal magic. Also, Larcade is an Etherious, so he has Curse power. That's why Zeref hoped Larcade's attack would affect Acnologia.
But Acnologia's resistance to magic was too much for Larcade's Curse to overcome. Although the biggest shock was Ben who didn't seem to be affected that much. He only seemed a little horny, but didn't suffer due to the pleasure.
Pleasure was a spell that given it's name induced a unimaginable sense of pleasure to those who have engaged in the 'forbidden act'. Ben had engaged in this repeatedly because he had a wife and already had kids. Regardless, he wasn't affected because of his immunity to mental spells.
Ben was impressed with that spell because he didn't know such a spell existed in White Arts. Acnologia wasn't happy and his target was now Larcade instead of Ben. Ben, who witnessed it, took a few steps back and got ready to watch his enemies fight each other.
