Ch: 1 Falling Star

In a dark room, there is a tile floor with a dark almost unnoticeable wall surrounding the room with a door, Inside the room are two girls:

One of them is sleeping on the floor, the other one is watching over her.

-Crack-

I look down at Ms. Sleeping Beauty, sleeping on a hard-tiled floor with little comfort.

-Crack-

'That's not coming from her.' I thought, as I begin looking around the room with concern.

-Crack-

I look towards the door, noticing a light shining through the cracks that was not there before. I get up careful not to wake her, and begin softly stepping towards the door.

-Crack-

I watch as the door handle shook

'What..' I thought, as I notice the light get brighter around the edges after each sound, the light starting to ambiently effect the room.

On guard, I begin to slowly reach out and touch the handle, as I touch it, I instantly register the heat coming off the door handle beginning to burn my hands, jerking my hand back on reflex.

-SNAP-

The door suddenly shoots open as I narrowly avoid it, the entire room is shortly engulfed in a bright white light.

POV: ???

Forever Fall forest. I look down as I am flying high above the bright-orange forest canopy.

'Ozzy said it came from around here.' I thought, keeping attention on the forest canopy below for anything out of the ordinary, seeing nothing but a few Grimm here and there, wandering the forest. As I fly around getting closer to the site, I notice a subtle increase in Grimm and a small opening up ahead.

[Few hours ago]

-Ding!-

The elevator door opens, revealing a large circular space, the walls made of glass, with gears on either side to the left and right, Above is a tall roof with many large gears of a clock tower spinning around. Up ahead is a desk with a single man sitting.

The man has a black button-up coat with a dark green lining towards the center, he has a dark green scarf with grayish white hair and green eyes.

He looks up as the elevator door opens, his eyes settling on the man in the elevator.

"Qrow." He says calmly as I begin to walk over.

"Need somethin' Ozzy?" I say with a raspy voice. Reaching down into my pockets, I pull out my flask. "I have a new assignment for you very soon." Ozzy said with a pause, setting down his scroll to connect it to the table, I take a drink of my flask before he continues "After the incident with Amber, I have been getting a few more reports of, suspicious activities." He says as he presses a button, causing a hologram to show up with the mission details and information on it

I put my flask back in my pocket before responding. "So you want me to check it out, huh?" I ask and he responds with a nod and begins to say something before he suddenly freezes.

"You good?" I ask as he responds "Something's not right.." He says In an anxious tone before getting up and picking up his cane. He begins to walk over towards the window. I follow shortly after, as I begin to approach the window I see a bright purplish blue light in the distance surrounded by the sunrisesky.

Coming to a stop at the balcony, I notice the light sometimes flickering a menacing vibrant red color as it slowly falls down towards the ground.

I decide to break the silence.

"Well. That's new." I say reaching down and grabbing my flask before taking a drink, watching as the light slowly falls downwards towards Forever fall forest.

And cut! Ha, get cliff-hangered fool(s). Welp, that is all for this short introduction chapter, I hope y'all will enjoy this story!
