Hey guys, sorry for the hiatus. I was dealing with summer classes and the assignments were getting more complex and time-consuming. Luckily I finished my summer semester. However, my Fall semester recently started. Most likely I'm gonna be extremely busy for the next few months. But I'll try my best to deliver the next chapter for The GamePlus House. Also, I appreciate the kind words and support from you guys. I really do, thank you, guys and I'll do my best in the future.
Before you read this chapter, I gotta give some interesting details about the development of this chapter. Originally it was gonna be a short chapter but I didn't like the result of this chapter. So, I decided to make huge changes to this one. I hope you guys enjoy this chapter.
Chapter 10: "Family and Perfection"
While Spider-Man followed Luz and Amity. As for Carolina, she told Spider-Man that she would follow and talk to the Blight Twins. Washington decided to go with her just in case, they might get her on her bad side. They exited the building.
"Man, I wish we recorded that," said Edric.
"The look on her face was hilarious," said Emira mockingly.
"You too seem to be having fun," said Carolina.
Emira and Edric got startled by Carolina's voice and turned around to see her with Washington.
"What the?! How long have you two been here?" asked Edric.
"Everything," answered Carolina.
"What?" said Emira confused about Carolina's answer.
"We saw and heard everything. That's just pathetic for you two to do that to your younger sister," said Washington.
Edric and Emira are shocked to hear that and they attempt to lie their reasoning at the library.
"What? Pfft. Listen, guys, we're just messing around in the library." said Edric.
Carolina plays on the audio log in her helmet, they listen to the audio log.
"This is it," said the Blight twins excitedly.
"Luz, were you hiding this from us?" asked Emira.
"You see how she treats people. And how she treats you," said Edric.
"I know Amity can be kind of cold but no one deserves this. These are private thoughts. Let's put it back." said Luz as she grabs Amity's diary. Luz and the Blight twins struggle with each other to get the book.
"She needs this," said Edric rashly.
"It's for her own good," said Emira ignorantly.
Their struggle ends, and the pages fall off the book, scattering everywhere to the floor, revealing more information about Amity. In other Diary notes of Amity, they began spawning from the pages.
"I wish I had somewhere to go. Why won't the humans leave me alone? I accidentally called my teacher mom again. Sorry I haven't written for a while. Wait, why am I apologizing?" The notes of Amity continue talking.
"Really?" said Amity frustratingly.
"Argh. It's not what it looks like," said Luz.
Edric and Emira laugh at Amity's rage.
"You two are the worst," said Amity frustratingly as she grabs her diary from Luz and faces her. "But you… "I've been trying to figure out what your deal is. Are, are you a poser? A nerd. I know. You're a bully Luz."
"Amity!" Luz exclaimed.
Carolina ends the audio log, and both Edric and Emira have nervous expressions.
"Just messing around. Let me ask you something, why did you two do that?" asked Carolina. "Just to feel better?"
"Uhhh." Edric is unsure what to say.
"Fine, you caught us," said Emira without hesitating. "So what? You're gonna tell our mommy and daddy. Oh no, what should we do? As if our parents listen to humans like you."
"Yeah plus we're just messing with Mittens. That's what siblings do, Nothing personal," said Edric.
"You still haven't answered my question!" Carolina exclaimed. "Why did you do that to your little sister? Don't make me repeat myself."
"I suggest you answer that question. Trust me, You do not want to see her bad side," said Washington calmly.
"It's none of your business. Why did you care how Mittens feel? She's a bully and treats everyone horribly." said Emira. As if she knows Amity's true colors.
"It may look like it but I know that's not how that young girl is. Maybe she's scared to show her weakness because she knows you very well, pretty much troublemakers. Since you two enjoy making fun of people," answered Carolina.
"Also, doesn't that make you two bullies as well?" asked Washington.
"Nah. We were just messing around, she needs to learn not to mess with people like us," said Edric determinedly. As if he has no flaws.
"What?" said Carolina upsettingly.
"How can you say that?" asked Washington. "She's being responsible with her studies, while you two are playing pranks and ditching class."
"Ugh. Listen, you two, this isn't your business. Mittens will get over it, trust us." answered Emira.
"How can I be sure she'll get over it?" asked Carolina.
"She'll get over it like before, it happens every time we do this," answered Edric.
"Ok then, let me tell you something. Did you hear what her diary said?" asked Carolina.
"You mean the one where Amity accidentally called her teacher mom? Hahaha. That one was funny." said Emira uncaringly.
"No. Not that one," said Washington.
"Is it the one where she is apologizing for no reason?" asked Edric.
"NO!" Carolina exclaimed frustratingly. "That one part of the diary said she wished she had somewhere to go. It sounds like she wants to run away."
Edric and Emira both looked at Carolina and Washington, they burst out laughing after hearing that statement. Carolina is starting to get annoyed at how these two can't take this seriously or anything seriously.
"Guys! This is serious! What if she seriously runs away?" asked Carolina.
"Woah! Good one teal lady. Woo!" said Edric as he continues laughing.
"Pfft haha. Running away, as if! There's no way Mittens would do that." said Emira.
"They're not even paying attention to me," said Washington. He is slightly annoyed at this point.
"I got this Wash," said Carolina. She clears her throat. "HEY! LISTEN UP!"
Edric and Emira listen to Carolina. Both got startled by her yelling.
"Thanks, Carolina. Where were we? Oh, right. What if Amity does run away?" asked Washington. "It sounds like she wants to go somewhere and never wants to come back to her home."
"Exactly, everyone has a breaking point," said Carolina truthfully.
Amity is smart and respectful at such a young age however it can be difficult to uphold especially having to deal with personal problems.
"What would if your little sister ran away from her home because she felt insecure and felt like shit after her family doesn't give a fuck about her at all? How the fuck would you feel if that were to happen? Sad? Happy? Or you don't give a shit at all?" asked Carolina.
"Ok but-" Edric was about to say something but he was immediately interrupted by Carolina.
"Are you interrupting me?" asked Carolina. "I'm done yet!"
"Sorry, Sorry! Continue madam!" said Edric nervously.
Edric was interrupted by Carolina, he listened to Carolina. Emira got freaked out by Carolina.
"I don't care if you come from a wealthy family, or you're both young children. But this kind of behavior is unacceptable. Do you think that was funny? How would you feel if someone invaded your privacy, and showed it to other people? Friends, family, and people you trust, you would feel humiliated and people would see you as a joke. While your sister is working hard day and night. Trying to be better than you two. While you two decided to fuck around because they're rich and they think they are better than anyone in the Boiling Isles. Fuck that, Amity is right, you two aren't perfect, get that fact straight through your thick skulls," said Carolina coldly and yet honestly.
"D-Damn…. She has a good point, kids," said Washington.
Edric and Emira were getting a little scared by Carolina's rage. Edric decided to step up and tell Carolina to back off. Oh no Edric, please don't.
"Would you back off?" asked Edric ignorantly. "You don't know us. Of course, I would feel pretty bad if that were to happen to me but I know no one is gonna pull that stunt against us."
"Yeah, everyone knows who we are and the most well-respected students in hexside," said Emira confidently.
"The most well-respected students in hexside. Yeah, I know. Don't remind me. Also add this, two brats who have nothing better to do besides messing with their sister's privacy and emotions. Yeah, I think I got the idea. They should add that to your bio." said Carolina.
"Ok. Ok. Let's chill for a moment," said Edric calmly. "So, yeah maybe we kinda went too far."
"Maybe? Earlier, you two did it intentionally," said Carolina upsettingly.
"Alright, everyone. Let's settle down for a moment. Just listen kids. Seriously. I'm warning you. You don't want to see her bad side," said Washington cautiously.
Emira didn't want to be lectured by a human, a low-class being who has no magic abilities.
"Listen, just leave us alone. Go back home, and cry to your dead friend. Your friend Caboose mentioned how you guys miss him so much. Oh no. Tragedy." said Emira mockingly.
The area went dead silent. Edric and Emira noticed Carolina wasn't talking. Washington is hurt by her words but he notices Carolina is getting very very upset. Edric didn't laugh or commented on Emira's words because he noticed Carolina isn't saying anything. Emira did not listen to Washington.
"What… What did you just say?" asked Carolina strictly.
"Carolina. Calm down. Don't do anything rash!" Washington exclaimed.
"You heard me. Go cry to your dead friend," said Emira ignorantly. "What was his name? Oh right, Chu-"
Emira was about to say Church's name. However, Carolina punches the door, her fist is right beside Emira's head. The punch left a mark on the door, which completely cracked. Emira felt immense fear as if she felt that punch. If that were to hit, the pain would be unbearable. The impact felt strong, and couldn't imagine if that were to physically hit her.
"DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE SAY HIS NAME!" Carolina exclaimed aggressively.
Emira is panicking, she wanted to move but she was afraid to even move, just a bit. Washington calms her down.
"Carolina! Stop! You're scaring her." said Washington as he attempts to calm Carolina.
"Woah. Take it easy! Okay, look we're sorry about that. Emira, I think that was too much, I think you should apologize to her!" Edric exclaimed.
Emira didn't want to apologize but she soon realized Carolina is serious about this.
"Ok! I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Please!" Emira exclaimed honestly.
"If there was no law or anything to prevent me from harming you. I would take it, but in the end, it wouldn't be worth it," said Carolina frustratingly. "Never say his name again. He has nothing to do with this!"
"We're sorry, my sister didn't mean it. Isn't that right, sis?" asked Edric.
"Yeah. Yeah. I didn't mean it. Hehe…" answered Emira nervously.
"It's okay. Just don't do that again. It can be offensive to a lot of people. Even though you have no idea who they are, just try to be respectful," said Washington. "Look, we are not trying to hurt you. We are just telling you to stop because Amity seems to be having a hard time, she doesn't look happy. Amity is not a mean person but I feel like she has her reasons why she has this kind of behavior toward the people around her. You're her older siblings, I know siblings don't get along but siblings help each other, talk to each other, and understand yours and her problems."
"Do you think Mittens is not feeling okay?" asked Edric.
"Yes, that's a high possibility. I'm worried for the worst for her in the future," answered Washington.
Edric and Emira both looked at each other, it seems they never realized that Amity could be facing difficult times. They were getting concerned.
"You know. I think you guys are right. Maybe… Maybe we kinda went too far." said Emira.
"I know but don't apologize to us. Apologize to Amity. I suggest you talk to Amity once you see her again," said Washington.
"Look Edric and Emira. I may have lost my temper earlier but never say his name again. It's just that… our team missed him so much." said Carolina weakly.
"Yeah. We won't, we promise," said Edric worryingly.
"Please, just watch over your little sister," said Washington.
"Y-Yeah. We will. We promise we won't do that again." said Emira.
"Ok good. Now get back home. It's getting late." said Carolina.
"Okay. Come on Emira. Let's go."
"Alright. Before we go. You guys. What was your name again guys?" asked Emira.
"It's Washington and this is Carolina. We gotta head back inside, to get Luz and bring her home," answered Washington.
"Interesting names, well I think we should get going," said Emira.
"Alright. We'll make sure Mittens is okay. Thanks for telling us that. I don't think me or Emira would have caught that sooner." said Edric.
"Well… See ya later. Maybe." said Emira weakly.
"Wait, before you go. I want to tell you something. The reason why I'm here." said Carolina.
"Huh? What is it then?" asked Emira.
"To be honest, Amity is someone we barely know but after hearing diary, I felt bad for her. She's still a young girl learning about the world and trying her best to be strong. For some reason, she reminded me of myself when I was younger." answered Carolina.
"Really? How?" asked Edric. "You two are like completely different people."
"It's because my father never paid attention to me or spent time with me ever since my mother passed away. I was alone, I never had real friends or anyone to talk to at the time. I wanted to be the best, to get respect and attention from my father. I worked hard day and night to reach the top. I wanted to be perfect, but I realized my motives for trying to be the best, almost got me killed. I wanted to make my father proud… But he never cared for my efforts, he was too busy trying to back my dead mother. Everything I've been through gave me a sign that nobody can't be perfect. No matter how hard you try to improve yourself, you will still have flaws to deal with. I'm glad that I realized that no one can be perfect. No one. After all that, I can be more than that, greater for who I am. I think that's why I wanted to step in to help Amity because she and I are kinda similar. But just going through different challenges," answered Carolina.
It became silent after Carolina finished her statement. Washington understands why Carolina wanted to do this, she believes Amity and her share similar problems. Want to be perfect, and not get respect from their peers or family for their efforts. An unfortunate that occurs in the majority of families, having high expectations that overwhelm their children.
"That's a lot to take. Sounds like a story could that be from a fictional book," said Edric. "I-I didn't… We're sorry that you…"
"No. It's okay. Anyways, these words may seem silly to you. It's up to you to laugh at it or ignore it. Anyways, I used to think like that, but I learned things the hard way, no matter how hard you try to be strong, eventually you fall and might lose everything. Edric, Emira. Please, watch over her. Never distance yourselves from your little sister. Make every second count before it's gone." said Carolina.
"Yeah. You're right, we'll… We'll try." said Edric.
"Just take of each-" Carolina was suddenly by a bullet. Washington, Edric, and Emira were horrified at what happened to Carolina. However, the bullet hit her shoulder and she was quickly covered by the pillar.
"Carolina!" Washington exclaimed.
"ARGH! Get to cover!" Carolina exclaimed.
"Emira, give me a hand!" said Edric as he and Emira cast a large illusion spell. This was able to distract the sniper, the sniper was unsure of what is happening. The illusion made them invisible and the spell also affected the entrance area. The sniper grunts frustratingly. Carolina, Washington, Edric, and Emira were able to go inside the library without worrying about the sniper noticing them. The sniper didn't see the door open because the illusion spell made it look like the door wasn't moving.
"What the heck was that?!" Emira exclaimed.
"I don't know but…. Carolina, are you alright?" asked Edric concernedly.
"What did they hit you with?" asked Edric.
"Oh right… That was a bullet. I think it was sniper round." answered Carolina. "It's fine it didn't do anything vital."
Emira noticed the bleeding and she immediately panicked.
"Oh my gosh! You're bleeding!" Emira exclaimed.
"It's a good thing I brought a med-kit," said Washington. "I'll see what I can do to help you with that."
"So, can anyone explain what is happening right now?" asked Emira.
"Well, for you two. Did you guys remember the one time the news talked about us a few weeks ago? About us coming from different universes. It's obvious we're dealing with someone who is from another universe," answered Washington.
"I don't know, whoever it was. They might know us, Wash," said Carolina.
"Huh? Hey look it's Spider-Man. Hey, Spider-Man!" Emira calls out his name.
Spider-Man, Mario, Skull, Panther, Luz, and Amity finds them and head to their position.
"Carolina?! What happened?!" Spider-Man exclaimed in worry.
"Someone just attacked us. It has to be someone from another universe. But we didn't see what they looked like," answered Carolina.
"Are you alright?" asked Mario.
"It's nothing vital," answered Carolina. "I think that was a sniper round." Carolina groans in pain.
"Hey, take it easy," said Mario calmly.
"W-Wait, aren't you that Mario guy?" asked Carolina. "Futaba mention about you."
"Yes. That's me. But we can talk later, you need to rest. We don't want the wound to get any worse," answered Mario.
"He's right. We need to deal with the sniper but I can't risk any of you guys going out there. So, let me deal with this." said Spider-Man.
"Are you sure that's safe?" asked Luz.
"Don't worry. Luckily, for me, I dealt with Snipers before. Hopefully, this shouldn't be too difficult." answered Spider-Man.
"Okay. I can trust your determination. Also, the sniper hasn't been firing. Why?" asked
"They're probably waiting for us to come out," answered Washington. "They can't charge in because it might be a risk for them."
"Washington, I need you to watch over her. Carolina, you rest up. We can't risk you hurting yourself." said Spider-Man. "Mario, Panther, Skull. Stay here for a moment. I'll let you know when the moment is right,"
"Okay, let us know when to jump in," said Skull.
Spider-Man heads to the rooftop window and heads outside. Back to Luz and the others. Edric and Emira see the destruction of the library, books everywhere, broken bookshelves, and the entire environment has been damaged.
"What happened here?" asked Emira.
"It's your doing, both of you," said Panther.
"What?" said Edric unsurely what Panther meant by that.
"Remember the little doodle you left on the Otabin book. That little doodle turned Otabin into a big monster," answered Panther.
"Not only it was a pain in the ass to deal with but it tried to sew Amity and Luz into a book," said Skull.
"Oh… Oh…. Oh, man, we are in so much trouble. Look, we are so sorry about it," said Edric.
"Just…. Look, at least it didn't kill us. Next time just stick to ordinary pranks or whatever you do for fun. Run around or something." said Skull.
"But I don't think you should apologize to us. You should apologize to them," said Panther as she referred to Luz and Amity.
"Hey… Mittens," said Emira weakly.
"Edric… Emira…" said Amity coldly.
"About earlier. Look, we are so sorry about that. But, you should go easy on us since we didn't know about this." said Edric.
"Edric!" Panther exclaimed.
"Okay. Okay!" said Edric. He exhausts defeat. "Alright, we were reckless about the wailing star.
"We're also sorry about trying to expose your diary to the school. There you happy!"
"Oh, you gotta be shitting me…" said Skull weakly.
"Really? That's it? It's not about if I'm happy that you apologize to me." said Amity.
"Well, this is what you get catching us skipping class. If you didn't let us be maybe none of this would've happened," said Edric.
Amity just couldn't believe Edric said that to her. Amity felt angry about Edric but her emotion shifted to sorrow.
"Well, if you don't want me to catch you skipping classes. Maybe I should just run away and never come again," said Amity harshly.
Edric was caught off guard by that statement. Edric and Emira realize that everything that was written in the diary was true about Amity's thoughts.
"Wait, were you… You were serious about that?" asked Edric.
"I-I'm tired… All these bad things keep happening to me. You just sit there and make things worse," said Amity. "Why can't you just understand what I'm going through? Just why? Is everything about me a joke to you?"
"Wait… N-No, it's not like that," said Emira.
"I thought I was doing things right… But I am such an idiot for thinking that. If I'm not a joke to you then what is it?!" Amity exclaimed frustratingly. "Why do you think I have a secret place in the library? Because I am tired of dealing with this family mess and I just want to get away from it. But no, you just had to find your way here to bring your mess. Why can't you just me some space?" asked Amity. "Oh, I know why. Just to make me miserable again. Is that it? I just don't get it… What did I do to deserve this? For being annoying, for not being cool like you."
"No, we… We thought…" Emira was trying to find the right words but she couldn't. She tried to think but she remembers Carolina's words.
"Hey… Amity," said Panther calmly.
Amity began shedding tears, she is doing to hold her emotions.
"Look, calm down," said Panther calmly.
Amity listens to Panther and calms herself at the moment.
"I'm sorry, I was overreacting by all this. It's just… I don't know why this happening to me. I'm just tired by all this." said Amity upsettingly.
"Hey, don't be sorry… It happens to everyone. Also, don't be sorry about crying," said Panther. "Amity, can I ask you something?"
"Huh? W-What is it?" asked Amity.
"You wanted to ask for help but you were scared," answered Panther. "Weren't you?"
Amity felt hesitant at first to answer Panther's question however Amity realized she needs to stop doing this. Stop keeping things to herself because Caboose listens and cared about Amity's wellbeing. Despite knowing each other for only a day, Amity feels slightly comfortable around Caboose.
"I felt like no one wouldn't understand. My mom doesn't listen to me, my dad ignores me when he's working, and my siblings just tease me about every bad thing that happens to me. I…. I just need someone to talk to. But… I finally did talk to someone. Caboose." said Amity calmly. "He just listened to me and understand what I was going through. At first, I thought he was just an idiot but he's more than that."
Amity smiles knowing Caboose is at her side.
"That's good to hear. Also, I understand that it can be rough asking for help. I went through a similar problem as you did but mine was complicated. But I'll tell you that another time." said, Panther.
Panther thought that it was best to let Edric and Emira finish talking with their sister.
"Edric, Emira. Please, carefully talk to your sister. No more blames, no more jokes. Your sister wants to talk to you." said Panther carefully. "Don't do it just for us. Do it for Amity."
Edric and Emira looked at each other, they are conflicted about this situation. Seeing Amity like this. They understand that they have to step up their responsibility as older siblings.
"Mi- Amity… Look, we are so sorry about all of this. We may… Hold on. We went too far about this," said Emira.
"She's right… Carolina told us why she talked to us. She couldn't ignore this and she wanted to help you because she told us she went through similar problems." said Edric. "Heh. Now, I think about it. I feel like a jerk… Honestly, I probably would've lost it if my diary was exposed to the school."
"Anyways, we're…. We're sorry about all this. We didn't know that the Wailing Star magic could hurt someone. We're sorry that we put you into so much trouble." said Emira honestly.
Amity was unsure about all this, wondering if they are serious or not about their apology.
"We mean it. All about this tough love we're trying to give you. I realized that isn't tough love, it was just us being annoying jerks. Man… I feel horrible. Is this what guilt feels like?" asked Edric.
Carolina chuckles at Edric's statement about feeling guilty.
"Welcome to reality, you little shitheads," said Carolina.
Luz was surprised about this conversation and wondered what Carolina and Washington said to the Blight twins.
"Wow… What did you guys do?" asked Luz.
"Well, we give them a little talk about family and respecting each other," answered Washington.
Washington received a communication call from Spider-Man.
"Guys, I got the sniper but I'm gonna need a little help. Turns out this sniper is wearing a similar suit that you and Carolina wear. But the color of her suit is black, you know anyone who wore black-armored?" asked Spider-Man.
"Black suit? Wait…." said Washington worryingly.
A few minutes earlier…
Spider-Man is outside on the rooftop and gets ready to find the sniper's whereabouts.
"The sniper is probably at the same spot where they took the shot. Good thing my lenses can help find them easily," said Spider-Man. He uses his eye lenses to scan the area to find the sniper and successfully finds the sniper hiding on another rooftop. The sniper was blending in with the rooftop.
"Gotcha!" Spider-Man exclaimed as he strikes at the sniper, knocking the sniper off the rooftop. Spider-Man quickly grabs the sniper and lands on the ground safely. Spider-Man gets a better look at the sniper.
"That suit… Um… If you don't mind me asking you a question?" asked Spider-Man.
The black armor soldier grunts in frustration.
"You wouldn't happen to be from another universe? Because you shot Carolina for a reason. I'm betting you and Carolina had a history together. Who are you, exactly?" asked Spider-Man.
The black armor ominously looks at Spider-Man.
"Get out of my way," said the Black-armored individual coldly. However, the Black-armored individual had a feminine voice but her voice was distorted. Spider-Man notices this and acknowledges that she's using a voice changer, changing the pitch of her voice is very deep. Probably to keep their identity a secret. But for what reason?
"I'm sorry. That's my friend you just shot. You're gonna have to be more convincing about this." said Spider-Man.
"I don't give a shit about that. All I care about is killing the green one." said the Black-armored individual.
"But why though? What did Carolina ever do to you?" asked Spider-Man.
"Would you shut the fuck about your bullshit? Now then… Get out of my way, this has nothing to do with you." said the Black-armored individual. "Once I killed this Carolina friend of yours, I'll be on my way."
"I'm not gonna let you do that on my watch. So, I hope you know what this means," said Spider-Man.
"Are you serious? Fine, have it your way." said the Black-armored individual aggressively.
Spider-Man makes his first moves and web strikes the Black-armored individual however she was able to block his Spider-Man with ease. She counters by striking him but Spider-Man was able to back away from the attack. Spider-senses are tingling, and the Black-armored individual quickly gets close to him and strikes at the chest. Spider-Man grunts in pain, he was shocked at how fast she was. Spider-Man recovers and shoots a web bomb at the Black-armored individual. She was caught off guard by the web bomb, Spider-Man strikes them, doing decent damage. However, the Black-armored individual breaks from the webs and quickly counters by grabbing Spider-Man's leg. She throw Spider-Man to the Pillar, luckily Spider-Man was about to catch himself before he crashed into the pillar. Spider-Man recovers but Spider-senses are tingling and see his opponent coming at him. Spider-Man easily dodges her attack and shoots a web towards her face. This blinds her for a brief moment and Spider-Man quickly attacks her with a basic combo. The black-armored was getting irritated at this nonsense she is dealing with. She blocks Spider-Man incoming attacks and counters by kicking Spider-Man in the chest and then punches him in the face and his chest. Then, he grabs his legs and began slamming him to the ground. She throws him up and punches him. The blow sent him back a bit. Luckily, Spider-Man was able to recover from the attack however he realized the black-armored individual was able to do this much damage to him. Spider-Man continues to fight back against his opponent.
If he continues to fight alone, it could be difficult to fight her alone. Spider-Man was also shocked at how quick and strong she was, reminds him of Silver Sable but he thinks she could be stronger than Silver Sable.

Washington, Skull, Panther, and Mario were about to go outside to support Spider-Man against the Black-armored individual. However, Spider-Man came crashing in through the door and crashed at the Bookshelves.
"Mama mia!" Mario exclaimed.
"Spider-Man! Are you okay?!" Washington exclaimed.
"Y-Yeah… I'm fine," said Spider-Man. He recovers and joins with the others.
"What happened out there?" asked Skull.
"Bad. Whoever this is, she's not holding back. Guys, get ready for a big fight." said Spider-Man.
"Oh no… It's happening again," said Amity.
"Guys, we'll be alright," said Luz.
"She's right. We got this cover. Now, take Carolina and the kids somewhere safe," said Spider-Man.
"No… I can fight," said Carolina.
"Carolina, we can't risk that. She doesn't care about us. She wants you only. I don't know why but I'm guessing it's your history with her," said Spider-Man.
"Guys, someone is coming," said Panther nervously.
Washington turned to see who it is. Carolina slowly got back up and saw the enemy. As soon as Washington and Carolina saw the threat, they couldn't believe who it was.
"No… You can't be serious.." said Washington worryingly.
"You know this person?" asked Spider-Man.
"Unfortunately, yes… It's Tex," answered Washington.
Agent Texas or Tex for short. Former member of Project Freelancer and the Blues team. Agent Texas has a complicated history. Agent Texas was known as the Beta A.I. and a replica of Leonard Chruch's deceased wife, Allison Church.

"Guys, be careful. She's trouble. Even though we can outnumber her but she can overwhelm us if we're not careful," said Washington.
"He's right, we need to carefully attack her. Catch her by surprise," said Spider-Man.
Spider-Man thinks about what is the right web gadgets that could do the trick.
"I have an idea," said Spider-Man. "I'll use my concussive blast then use an electric web. That should give us an opening. Alright, let's go."
Spider-Man web-strikes Tex but before he could attack Tex. He immediately change his tactics and used a concussive blast to push Tex and this led her to crash into a bookshelf. Spider-Man quickly shoots an electric web. Tex was stunned by the blast. This gave Panther an advantage as she attempts to Tex strike with her whip. However, this was a poor choice because Tex dodged her attack with ease. Then, she grabs the whip's tip. Panther attempts to pull her whip out of Tex's grasp but Tex couldn't let go. However, Panther realized her horrible mistake, she was smiling nervously.
"Hehe… Why did I do that?" asked Panther.
Tex takes Panther's whip and uses it against her, whipping her over and over then punched her in the gut. Panther groans in pain. Tex continues punching her in the gut multiple times and Tex kicks her in the face. Skull attacks Tex from attack however she dodged in time and grabs Skull at the neck and slams him to the floor. Punching him at his genitals, Skull squeals in pain. Edric was horrified because he felt that even though he didn't suffer from it. Tex kicks Skull and sends him flying. Panther was getting up and she was a bit drowsy due to immense pain.
"H-Huh?" Panther sees Skull coming right at her. Skull crashes at Panther. Both of the Phantom Thieves groan in pain. Skull slowly gets up and is frustrated at Tex.
"Oh! Why you little!" Skull exclaimed frustratingly. He summons his Persona and casts Ziodyne. Tex quickly dodges the attack and uses the whips to grab Skull's leg, making him trip. Pulling him towards her and punched him at his genitals once again. Tex grabs him up and begins punching him in the chest, kicking upwards then kicking him in the genitals, again. Tex grabs him by the legs and throws him at Spider-Man. Spider-Man can't dodge Skull, he needs to catch Skull. So, he catches Skull safely.
"Skull! Are you okay?!" asked Spider-Man worryingly.
"My… My precious… have been violated…" said Skull weakly.
"Oh… I'm just gonna put here to rest up," said Spider-Man.
"O-Okay…" said Skull weakly.
"I'll catch up. Let me just rest up for a minute," said Skull weakly.
Spider-Man quickly web-strikes Tex, then quickly shoots an impact web.
Skull summons Seiten Taisei to cast Ziodyne. Tex dodge the attack
Skull pulls his bat and charges at Tex in an attempt to attack her. Skull strikes her with the bat but Tex dodges and even blocks the blows.
"Would you hold still?!" asked Skull.
Unfortunately, Tex punches Skull in the gut and kicks him in the face. These blows made Skull drops his bat up in the air. Tex grabs Skull's bat in the air and throws it at him. Hitting him on his chest, this attack made him collapse to the ground. Skull groans in pain. Tex quickly grabs the Bat and went to Skull. Grabbing his leg and Tex strikes Skull at his genitals once again. Luckily, his armor is protecting him from the attacks but each time Tex strikes him at his genitals, it's still painful. Then, Tex throws the bat at Panther but Panther barely blocks the projectile. Tex took this opportunity to get close to her and Panther was surprised at how fast Tex is. Tex punches Panther in the chest, the blow broke one of Panther's ribs. Panther screams in pain. Tex grabs Panther's head and throws her. Sending her flying to the Library door, crashing to the door, and falling to the ground. Panther got up slowly from the brutal injury she received. She barely stands on two feet.
"I'm alright… Oww… I just need to heal myself," said Ann weakly. "H-Hecate!" Panther summons Hecate to cast a healing spell. Diarahan. Panther's wounds disappeared and she sighs calmly.
"Agh… Much better," said Ann calmly. "Oh, that's it! This bitch is gonna pay!" Panther exclaimed ragefully. Mario and Washington were horrified to see Panther's rage.
"Oh… Okay, you go, girl," said Mario nervously.
Spider-Man and Mario prepared themselves and make a full charge at Tex. Both strike her at the same time but she parried them with ease. Spider-Man and Mario continue attacking her but she keeps parring them with ease. Spider-Senses are tingling but it was too late because Tex grabs his and Mario's arm and throws them. Sending them flying, both were able to recover and catch their fall. Spider-Man uses his web-shooters to web up Tex. However, Tex immediately breaks free. Spider-Man was shocked to see how fast Tex was able to break free of his webbings. Mario throws fireballs at Tex however, Tex dodged the projectiles with ease.
"She fights like Silver Sable. Every time I make a move she's one step ahead of me," said Spider-Man.
"This is bad. She keeps dodging her attacks. At this point, she's gonna tire us out. Any ideas?" asked Mario.
"I could try the spider drones. She might block them but it will distract her for a few seconds," said Spider-Man.
"Okay, go for it," said Mario.
Spider-Man shoots three Spider-Drones, each of them blasting at Tex. This little distraction gave them to strike however, Tex pulls out her pistol and was able to shoot the Spider-drones precisely.
"Oh, come on. Do you have any idea how long it takes to make those?" asked Spider-Man.
Spider-Man shoots electric webs to stagger her and Mario strikes Tex and continues with a basic combo. Mario realizes Tex is getting aggressive due to her heavy breathing.
"Uh oh… Spider-Man, we might wanna get back. I think we made her mad," said Mario as he steps back, preparing for Tex's next move.
Tex seems more aggressive than before. Tex ignores the damage from the electric webs as she charges at Spider-Man. He quickly dodges her charge and Spider-Man was able to uppercut her and perform a finisher in the air however Tex blocked his finisher. Tex grabs Spider-Man's legs and throws him down to the ground. Mario sees her wide open and attempts to strike her however she dodges his attack and counters by punching him in the chest. Then Tex grabs Mario and throws him at Spider-Man. Both heroes groan in pain. Tex slowly walks up to them. Panther shoots with her uzi however Tex was able to dodge the bullet spray.
"Hey, Bitch!" Panther exclaimed to get her attention.
"I think it's time for payback for what you did to us," said Skulls as he summons Seiten Taisei to cast Matarukaja to increase their strength. Tex prepares herself against the two Phantom Thieves.
Skull summons Seiten Taisei to cast Ziodyne and Panther summons Hecate to cast Agidyne. Tex came running at them and dodged both of their attacks. However, she barely dodges their attacks. Spider-Man web strikes her with a basic combo and finishes the combo with a finisher. Mario attacks her with a basic combo. Tex immediately counters both of them. Spider-Man and Mario back away from her.
Mario snaps his finger and a green pipe appeared right in front of him.
"Spider-Man! Follow me!" said Mario.
"Oh… Okay!" said Spider-Man.
Mario and Spider-Man enter through the green pipe.
"Okay, this is awesome!" Spider-Man screams in excitement.
Mario and Spider-Man go through the interior of the Green pipe. As if this was a ride from a theme park. The Green pipe shows right behind and caught Tex by surprise. Mario comes out of the pipe and tackles Tex. Grabbing and throwing Tex in the air. Then, Spider-Man comes out of the pipe and performs a finisher against Tex. Spider-Man strikes Tex in the face, then shoots a web at Tex to get closer to her, and kicks her in the face. Tex falls to the ground but she quickly recovers. Spider-Man shoots a web at Tex to attempt to web-strike, however, she was able to grab Spider-Man's web and swing him around hitting Panther, Skull, Washington, and Mario. They crashed into the bookshelves. The group of heroes groans in pain. Tex moves along and attempts to find Carolina. Washington barely gets up and sees Tex heading to Carolina's position.
"Shit! Tex. stop!" Washington exclaimed.
"Just get out of my way!" Tex exclaimed. 'I don't get it. Why protect this ruthless murderer?!"
Washington is confused by Tex's words. Carolina killed many people but why would Tex care about her kill count?
"What are you talking about?" asked Washington.
"I don't have time to talk to idiots like you," said Texas.
"No, you don't!" Spider-Man exclaimed as he quickly web-strikes but Tex grabs his fist. But Skull strikes Tex with his bat. Mario and Panther hold Tex down.
"Jeez! Why is she so strong?!" Panther exclaimed.
"Tex, please stop this! We don't have to keep fighting," said Mario.
Carolina hears their argument. She realized that Tex only wants her only. So, she gets up and exits Amity's secret room.
"Hey… Where are you going?" asked Amity.
"Kids, I need to do this," said Carolina.
"Carolina, don't be reckless. You haven't fully healed yet," said Luz.
"I know but I can't risk you and the others getting hurt," said Carolina.
"No… Come on, this isn't a good time to be joking around," said Edric worryingly.
Carolina continues her way. She sees Tex across the Library. Carolina prepares for the worse from Tex.
"TEX!" Carolina roars in rage. "You want me. Come and get me."
Tex turns to see Carolina. She understands that Carolina is giving herself up. Spider-Man recovers from the debris and noticed Carolina is facing Tex alone.
"What?! Carolina, what are you doing?!" said Spider-Man.
"Guys… She only cares about her. I don't want you guys to get caught in my mess." said Carolina.
Luz uses a light glyph to blind Tex. Amity, Edric, and Emira worked together to push Tex back.
"Are you crazy?! Now is not the time to play the hero," said Edric.
"Now you guys," said Amity.
Edric and Emira attempt cast a spell to hide, with Amity, Luz, and Carolina with an illusion. Tex grunts in rage and sees them attempting to get away.
"No!" Tex pulled out her pistol and shots Edric and Emira with tranquilizing darts. The twins groaned in pain and the effects began to affect them immediately.
"What the…. Why am I.." Emira collapsed to the ground.
The blight twins collapsed to the ground, completely unconscious.
"Edric! Emira! What did you do to them?!" asked Amity.
"They're fine. They'll be out for a while," answered Texas.
"How dare you hurt them? Just leave us alone!" Amity attempts to summon an Abomination.
"No more tricks!" Tex roars furiously.
Tex interrupts Amity by grabbing her wrist. Tex puts pressure on it, and Amity grunts in pain. Amity struggles to get away from Tex's grip but she couldn't budge.
"NO! Stop it, Tex!" Carolina screams beggingly.
"Stop! Leave her alone!" Luz exclaimed.
Luz grabs a book and hits Tex. However, it didn't stagger Tex at all.
"Luz, you need to get out of here!" Carolina exclaimed.
"No! I'm not leaving you guys!" said Luz.
Luz attempts to hit Tex however, Texas grabs Luz and slams her against the nearest bookshelf. Luz groans in pain.
"Luz!" Amity screams in horror.
"Let me go!" Luz exclaimed as she continues to struggle to get away.
"Luz… Please. Just let her come to me. I know you want to protect me but please… I don't want to watch you guys get hurt. Tex… I'm on my knees here!" Carolina exclaimed beggingly. "You can have me as long you don't hurt them."
Tex acknowledges Carolina's surrender. Tex lets go of Luz and push Amity out of the way. Luz runs to Amity.
"Are you okay?" asked Luz.
"I'm fine… I'm sorry I got in the way," answered Amity.
"No… It's fine," said Luz. "You did what you can."
Tex pulls out her pistol and aims it at Carolina's head. Luz and Amity watched in horror. Tex was ready to pull the trigger, however, she was hesitant to pull it. Carolina notices this by Tex's arm twitching.
"What are you waiting for? This is your chance," said Carolina.
Spider-Man gets out from the rubble and quickly checks his surroundings. Spider-Man saw Tex aiming at Carolina's head.
"No!" Spider-Man exclaimed.
Spider-Man quickly attempts to stop however something arrived just in time. A strange sword came out of nowhere striking Tex. Luz looked carefully at the weapon, it was a weapon she easily recognized. Everyone was shocked by the sudden appearance of the attack. The young teenager is wearing a black v-neck t-shirt with black hemming. Black shorts with gray pockets which are held on by red straps. The shorts he wears are tight around his calves. Wearing a longer black hooded jacket with red hemming, gray pockets with white hemming, and red flannel flaps that are held down by yellow buttons. The shoes have a large design with the color black on the front and back of the shoes and yellow around the middle of the shoes with a black strap. Wearing gray fingerless gloves with red hemming, along with a yellow strap around the wrist, and a silver plate on the back of his hand. The young teenager has an interesting hairstyle, he has brown spiky hair. Around his neck is a crown necklace.
"Luz, who is that?" asked Amity.
"It's Sora!" Luz exclaimed excitingly.
Sora enters the area, and he checks his surroundings and is unsure where he is. Questions began filling his head.
"Where am I?" asked Sora.
Sora sees the others, unsure who they are but immediately recognized Mario.
"Mario? Is that you?" asked Sora.
"Sora! It's great to see you," said Mario.
"It's good to see you too. What's going on?" asked Sora.
"It's a long story but we need your help."
"I know, someone told me to help her. A strange woman and a guy name Mr. X said you guys needed help," said Sora.
"Wait… They send you here?" said Spider-Man.
"Yep. We'll talk later. We need to deal with this." answered Sora.
"Washington, get Carolina and the kids outta here," said Skull. "We got this covered."
No need to talk. Mario, Spider-Man, Panther, and Skull joined with Sora.
"Nice to meet you, Sora. Okay, quick introduction, the name's Spider-Man. We'll talk more later, for now.
"We know what she can do. We have to be careful when she moves," said Skull.
"Guys. Don't worry. Here's the thing… She may be fast… But Sora is way faster," said Mario.
"Yep. Watch this," said Sora.
Sora demonstrates by using flow motion. Texas was caught off guard, Sora made the first strike and attacked her with a basic combo. Texas attempted to counter but Sora blocked her counter and counter back at her. Sending her flying and Sora attacks Tex with a basic air combo. Then he delivers the final attack of the combo, then his appearance Spider-Man was amazed by Sora's speed. Luz and Amity's eyes widened in surprise. Mario, Skull, and Panther simply smirk.
Sora blocks her attack and immediately counters. Then, Sora quickly strikes her with a basic combo, then finished the combo with a single strike raid. The strike raid stuns Tex, Sora sees this opportunity and remembers the Phantom Thieves' combat strategy, the Baton Pass.
"Guys, let's do the Baton Pass! It's your turn, Panther!" Sora exclaimed as he passed his turn to Panther, which lead her strength to grow stronger. Panther summons Hecate to cast Agidyne. Doing burning damage to Tex.
"Skull! You're up!" Panther exclaimed as she passed the Baton Pass to Skull as he summons Seiten Taisei to cast God's Hand. Extreme physical damage falls upon Tex.
"Mario. Your turn!" said Skull as he passes the Baton Pass to Mario.
Mario used the Cape Feather power up and glided toward Tex. Mario grabs her, spun her around in 360, and threw her to the bookshelves.
"Alright, Spider-Man! It's on you!" said Mario as he passes the Baton Pass to Spider-Man.
The Baton Pass significantly increased Spider-Man's strength. Spider-Man can feel the energy of the Baton Pass.
"Whoa! I feel more energized than before," said Spider-Man.
Spider-Man heads to Tex's position and strikes with a finisher, Spider-Man shoots two webs to the ground and slams down on Tex's chest. The finisher did more damage than it regularly does. Sora used flow motion to quickly strikes Tex with a basic combo but his attacks were different because these were his old moves in KH2. Sora performs Shotlock. This ability can launch a huge number of projectiles at one or even more enemies. While Sora is in the process of using Shotlock, time slows down, this allows Sora to carefully strike his enemies. If the Shotlock is not fully charged, it can only do a small impact, however, if the Shotlock is fully maxed out, the greater the attack will be. For example, Sora locks on Tex and performs Ragnarok. A powerful barrage of beams, beams went full speed at Tex, each beam striking her. Tex recovers from the attack and counters with the use of her pistol. However, Sora blocks the bullets just in time and immediately counters.
"Skull!" said Sora.
"I gotcha man!" said Skull.
Sora grabs Skull's arm and threw him at Tex. Skull bashes Tex with his bat.
"Mario!" said Panther.
A green pipe appears behind Tex, Mario comes out of the pipe, pulls out a large hammer, then strikes Tex with the hammer three times. Then, the last strike sends her flying to a bookshelf. Mario throws the hammer at Tex however, Tex barely catches the hammer and threw the hammer back at him.
"I don't think so!" Skull exclaimed.
Skulls summons Seiten Taisei to grab a nearby bookshelf to block the hammer. The hammer destroyed the bookshelf, leaving nothing but bits of wood and damaged books. Spider-Man web throws the hammer at Tex but she dodges the attack. The hammer crashes to the ground, leaving large rubble. Mario snaps his fingers and the green pipe pops up and takes the hammer away. Mario threw fireballs and Panther summons Hecate to cast Agidyne against Tex. She dodges them with ease, however, Mario and Agidyne continue to throw projectiles. This was a distraction while the green pipe opens above the ceiling, the hammer comes out of the pipe and came falling. However, Spider-Man grabs the hammer and throws the hammer at Tex from behind. Tex screams in agony from the massive damage from the Hammer. Tex gets thrown across the library and crashed into a bookshelf. These poor bookshelves.
"Alright. Can we just relax right now?" asked Spider-Man. "So we can talk about your anger issues because you are the pure definition of grumpy pants."
"SHUT UP!" Tex roars in rage. Tex recovers from the rubble of books, more frustrated than before.
"Oh come on, Tex," said Spider-Man.
"Seriously?! After all that, she's still kicking?!" said Skull.
Tex quickly charges and Sora heads first to Tex. Sora attempted to strike Tex however, she grabs Sora and throws him in the air. Sora air recovers and uses flow motion to get her position. Sora attacks her immediately and finishes the combo with the support of Panther's Agidyne. Tex barely dodge the attack, Spider-Man noticed she was getting at this point.
"Alright, guys. We're doing great but we still have to be careful. She may catch us by surprise if we rush in recklessly," said Spider-Man.
"Hey guys, wanna start some blasting?" asked Skull.
"Sure, let's cause some destruction. Oh… Sorry, I got excited a bit," said Panther nervously.
"Yeah… Man, I feel bad whoever's gonna clean up this," said Sora.
"Oh boy…" said Spider-Man worryingly. He's worried about the further collateral damage they're about to make in a few minutes.
Sora, Spider-Man, Mario, Panther, and Skull began shooting projectiles at Tex. Blizzaga shards, Spider webs, fireballs, and bullets. Tex took cover behind the bookshelves, and Sora charges and crashed through the bookshelf. Sora caught Tex off guard, he strikes her first and grabs her, and throws her upwards. Spider-Man sees Tex in the air and quickly web strikes her, striking her with a basic air combo and finishing the combo with a finisher. Spider-Man foot dives her and the web swings her down to the ground. Panther summons Hecate to cast Blazing Hell and Skull summons Seiten Taisei to cast God's Hand. Both attacks have done extreme damage against Tex.
"Spider-Man! Catch!" Skull exclaimed.
Skull throws his baseball bat at Spider-Man. He grabs the baseball and the web throws the baseball bat at Tex. Spider-Man retrieves the Bat and throws the bat at Tex once again. Spider-Man grabs and throws the Bat back to Skull.
"Thanks, Skull," said Spider-Man.
"Don't mention it," said Skull. He feels joy within his heart after hearing that from Spider-Man.
Sora performs Strike Raid, throwing his Keyblade at Tex multiple times. Then, Sora quickly went to a bookshelf and used his keyblade to strike the bookshelf upwards. Mario and Spider-Man got on the bookshelf, then Sora struck the bookshelf, sending the large projectile at Tex. She attempts to dodge the projectile however Spider-Man shoots Tex with an electric web. Stunning her for a few seconds, this was enough time for the bookshelf to crash into her. Sora finds this moment to be the right moment to change his tactics.
"Here we go!" said Sora as his body glowed for a brief moment. Sora's appearance change into Second Form. This color palette was from his early days in the events of Kingdom Hearts 2.
"Whoa! Did his clothes change?" asked Spider-Man.
"Yep. That's Formchange, it only happens if he used his keyblade to fight his opponent," said Panther.
This is known as Form change, Sora can change into unique forms based on the Keyblade he used in combat. These forms can give him unique abilities and change the way he fights. For example, the Kingdom Key grants him Second Form, abilities he discovered used during his first adventure. Sora can be a formidable opponent due to his lightness, speed, and his variety of combat abilities. When it comes to Form change, it can be extremely difficult to tell his next attack. Sora did a unique basic combo and finished the combo with an explosion, light spheres explode, causing immense damage to Tex. Then, Sora cast Thundaga, a powerful thunder spell and third class of Thunder magic. Skull came in to support Sora as he summons Seiten Taisei to cast Ziodyne. The electricity damage causes Tex to get stunned for a brief moment. Spider-Man quickly web-strikes and Sora use flow motion to strike Tex. Both of them deliver blow after blow. Tex breaks free from their attacks and attempts to attack Spider-Man. However, Sora came in to block the attack and immediately counters her.
Then, Sora strikes with a powerful move, Ars Arcanum, a flurry of 13 strikes. Each strike deals decent damage. Sora delivers the final attack, after the final strike, Sora reverts to his original look. Skull strikes Texas with Ziodyne, and Panther follows up with Agidyne. Mario follows up with a basic combo and super uppercut, then Spider-Man finished it with a finisher. A kick at the helmet, strike was enough to damage her helmet, and the helmet's visor cracked. Tex collapses to the ground, she was attempting to get back up but Spider-Man shoots webs at her to hold her down.
"I'm not finished with you yet! All of you are starting to piss me off," Tex exclaimed frustratingly as she attempts to break free from the webbing. However, she is struggling to break loose due to her injuries slowing her down. During her struggles, Sora began to glow in a colorful aura, indicating his Final Smash is ready to go. Luz sees this and excitement has skyrocketed than before.
"Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!" Luz screams in excitement.
"Wait, he's glowing just like Mario did earlier," said Amity.
"Let's go!" Sora unleashes his Final Smash, Sealing The Keyhole.
Sora uses his Keyblade to shoot out a beam and the beam opens up a keyhole shape portal. Tex gets caught in the radius of the portal. Tex was sent into a white door, and the white door immediately closes. The door has an interesting logo, it's the Super Smash Brothers symbol. Sora finishes this fight, by using his Keyblade to shoot another beam at the keyhole of the door, and twists his keyblade as if he was locking the door. Then, Sora quickly turns around, strikes a pose, and laughs triumphantly as the white door behind him explodes. The Final Smash did extreme damage to take out Tex. She screams in pain, crashes to another unfortunate bookshelf, and lands on the ground.
The Owl House X Kingdom Hearts
Tex groans in pain as she attempts to get up but she couldn't get up from injuries. Spider-Man realizes the fight is over. Mario, Panther, and Skull lean down to the ground, and both Phantom Thieves and the Red plumber are completely exhausted.
"Just in case," said Spider-Man as he shoots webs to hold Tex down, making sure she doesn't attempt to do anything.
"Hey, I don't know what's going on but can we stop fighting and talk about us?" asked Sora.
"Yeah, I'm willing to talk. I'm not sure I can take another hit on the dick," said Skull exhaustingly.
"I can't believe you just said that," said Panther.
"Yeah. I'm tired, can we talk now with coffee and orange juice?" asked Spider-Man.
"Guys! Are you okay?" asked Washington.
"Yeah, everything is fine now," answered Spider-Man. "What about you?"
"We're good. I patched up Carolina and stop the bleeding. We're coming out to your location." said Washington. "Skull, Panther, I need your help to carry Edric and Emira."
"We're coming," said Panther as she and Skull went to support Washington.
Skull picks up Edric's unconscious body and Panther picked up Emira. The group got together where Tex is at. Amity and Luz view their surroundings and see more collateral damage within the Library.
"T-The library…" said Amity weakly.
"Bro… We just ruined this library. Uh, Amity, the staff can fix this mess, right?" said Skull.
"Uh…" Amity is unsure how to respond to that question.
"Never mind all of that. Is Tex still conscious?" asked Carolina.
Tex attempted to get up but it was no use due to her injuries and the spider webs holding her down. Amity and Luz got startled by Tex's sudden movement.
"Barely. I can knock her out if you want," said Skull. "I'm worried she might get back up."
"No… That won't be necessary," said Carolina.
"Hey guys," said Sora. He greets the others.
"Hey Sora, It's great to see you," said Mario as he holds up his hand for a handshake. Sora respectfully handshakes Mario.
"Sorry, if I'm interrupting but what is going on and where am I?" asked Sora.
"Okay, short version. We're in a world called the Boiling Isles. As for the big fight, we just finished wrapping up. Carolina and Washington had a history with Tex," answered Spider-Man.
"Yeah, a lot of things were happening and those were important. At least that's what I know," said Mario.
Sora understands briefly about the situation but he'll ask another time. Sora noticed Amity, Carolina, Skull, and Panther's exhaustion and injuries.
"Oh no… You guys got hurt badly. Here, let me patch you up," said Sora. "Heal!"
Sora uses his Keyblade to cast a powerful healing spell, known as Curaga. This is tier 3 of the Cure magic. Curaga can fully heal the user itself and Curaga can also heal/revive party members who are nearby the user. Curaga fully heals the party.
"Ah… Whoa… I feel much better. Wait… I know that's healing magic but I've never seen that kind of magic before. How did you do that?" asked Amity.
"It's this I'm using. It's a Keyblade," answered Sora as he shows his iconic weapon to Amity. She was fascinated with the Keyblade's design.
"Wow… After seeing that, this made me look like an amateur," said Washington.
"Hey, it's fine. At least you were able to patch up, your friend," said Sora. "You saved her."
"Heh. Yeah, you're right. Thanks for that," said Washington.
Carolina noticed something was off about Tex, the way she talks and how she fights in physical combat. It's not how Tex usually fights.
"Guys, something feels off about Tex," said Carolina.
"Huh? What do you mean by that? Isn't she like a bad guy you fought from your universe?" asked Skull.
"I also noticed something too. She mention her family was killed by someone. Why would she bring that up randomly?" said Spider-Man.
"Yeah, I noticed that. It's just… I don't know what it is. Her voice sounds different, and the way she fights seems more brutal. Tex said other things that didn't make any sense," answered Carolina.
"Why do you keep calling me that?" asked Tex.
"Huh? Um… That's because they've been calling you that name. Sorry, I just got here and have a little context about what's going on here," answered Sora awkwardly.
"Agent Texas… That's your codename in Project Freelancer," said Carolina.
"What? P-Project Freelancer…. I knew about the idea, but Project Freelancer was filled with controversies since Malcolm took over and went complete shit. He took everything! EVERYTHING! My life, my home, my family!" Tex's voice cracks in emotion.
"Malcolm? What do mean by that? Malcolm never took over Project Freelancer," said Carolina. "None of that happened. Leonard Church was the director of Project Freelancer," said Washington.
"Hold on, who are you exactly?" asked Spider-Man as he got closer to Tex and removes her helmet, revealing her true identity.
A beautiful woman with blonde hair. However, Carolina recognizes her, as a deceased relative. Carolina collapsed to the ground, her body was trembling in shock. Her mind is in complete disbelief. Refusing to accept who is in front of her.
"M-Mom….?" said Carolina.
Everyone was confused about Carolina's single-word response.
"Wait… What did you just say?" asked Luz.
"It's my… Mom. Allison Church," answered Carolina.
"What did you say to me? Why did you call me mom?" asked Tex.
A teal portal appeared behind Tex. Spider-Man recognized the design of the portal.
"It's that portal again," said Spider-Man.
The portal began creating a vacuum and pulling Tex into the portal. Spider-Man shoots a web at Tex and attempts to pull her.
"Skull and Panther watch over the kids!" said Washington.
"Ah, shit!" Skull exclaimed.
Washington, Luz, Mario, and Sora joined in to help Spider-Man to pull Tex away from the portal. However, even with all their together strength, it wasn't enough to overcome the vacuum of the portal. Unfortunately, the web snapped and the group fell. The vacuum of the portal pulls Tex inside it and after Tex enters the portal. The portal immediately disappears. The group was fine but they couldn't get Tex away from the portal.
"Damn! Even all of us together, we couldn't get her away from that," said Spider-Man.
"What happened to her?" asked Panther.
"I don't know. But that portal. It was the same one that took Akechi. All we know is that she's out there somewhere," answered Spider-Man.
"Is everyone okay?" asked Luz.
"We're fine. We're just shocked and confused at what just happened," answered Mario.
"What about your friend?" asked Sora concernedly. "She looks… Stressed."
Everyone turned to see Carolina and noticed Carolina was acting strange. Carolina removes her helmet, she was shedding tears. It felt like her body was going to explode. Knowing her mother was alive and well right in front of her just a few moments ago.
"Carolina… Are you okay?" asked Washington.
"How is this… No, she's gone…." said Carolina weakly.
"Carolina. Take deep breaths," said Washington calmly.
Carolina listens to Washington and took a deep breath to calm herself down. She feels slightly calmed down.
"Oh… I'm sorry for that. It's just…" said Carolina. "Can we just go? I'm tired right now."
"She's right. Guys, come on. We need to head back to Owl House. We need to recover and tell the others about this," said Spider-Man.
"He's right. We made a huge mess," said Washington.
"Oh, right. Sora, Mario come with us. Kirby and Joker are at the Owl House.
"Wait… They're here too?" asked Sora.
"They'll explain once we get there. Let's go, Sora," said Mario.
The group made their way back to the Owl House without the authorities' or any civilians' notice.
Location: The Owl House
"Here we are. Welcome to the Owl House," said Skull. "And our tents right outside of the house."
"You guys settle in. Luz and I are gonna go check on Eda," said Spider-Man.
"Yeah, we've gone all night She's probably worried about me," said Luz.
Luz and Spider-Man enter the Owl house.
"Hey guys, we're.." said Luz.
Luz and Spider-Man find Eda, King, Futaba, and Morgana resting with the Bat babies. Spider-Man figured out what were the loud noises from earlier.
"Oh… So, that's what they were going through. They were dealing with… bat babies? That's pretty cute," said Spider-Man.
"Yeah, it's a short story," said Luz.
Luz was about to explain the story but Hooty interrupts her by opening the door.
"HOOT! HOOT!" Hooty hoots.
A giant head figure enters the owl house, the giant bat creature. Spider-Man and Luz were surprised by the sudden appearance and realized this must be the Bat Queen. The babies have their mother's eyes.
"Woah, you must be mama," said Luz.
"Yep, definitely mama," said Spider-Man.
"Yi. Yi. Mama is I. And I is the Bat Queen." said the Bat Queen.
The Bat Queen whistles to awaken their children from their slumbers. They awake and flew toward their mother and settle into the Bat Queen's hair.
"Aah! Snuggles dumplings." said the Bat Queen happily.
All of the sudden, the Bat Queen begins to gag. As if she's attempting to throw up on purpose.
"Wait. Wait! What are you- " Spider-Man and Luz grunt in disgust once the Bat Queen vomited.
Both Spider-Man and Luz open their eyes and they were surprised that the Bat Queen vomited a pile of treasure and a skull whistleblower that shapes like a skull.
"Okay. That was gross. But… Thanks?" said Spider-Man unsurely.
"For troubles, Eda is owed one." said The Bat Queen.
The Bat Queen proceeds to make her way back home with her children. Spider-Man closes the door.
"She seems nice," said Spider-Man.
"Ah. Sweet Babies," said Eda drowsily.
The sleepy Owl Lady realizes something was off and opens her eyes to find the bat babies are gone.
"Babies? Sweet babies?" said Eda.
"H-Huh? Morning already," said Futaba drowsily.
King, Futaba, and Morgana woke by Eda's voice. Luz explains by miming the Bat Queen flying away with her babies.
"Yeah, they left just a moment ago," said Spider-Man.
"Oh… I just taught Junior how to pick locks too," said Eda depressingly.
"Your night looks very successful. Look at all that money you made. And look at this cool whistle that scary woman gave you. I'd wash it before you use it," said Luz.
"Well, at least things turn out well in the end. You did the job. Things could've been worse. Probably too graphic to describe," said Spider-Man.
"Yeah. We did it all for the money," said Eda unhappily.
"I miss my babies," King cries in sorrow.
"They were so cute when they were sleeping," said Futaba sadly.
"Man, I'm gonna miss those little guys," said Morgana.
"Maybe one day we can visit them…" said Futaba as she attempts her best to hold her emotions. "Damn it, Futaba. Hold your emotions together."
"I actually got you something from the library," said Luz.
Luz pulls out a book and gives it to Eda. A book titled "Coping with Empty Nest Syndrome."
"Haha. Thanks, kid. So how was your night?" asked Eda.
"Good. Then bad. Then maybe good. Not only that but we found Mario and Sora." said Luz.
"Wait, you found them while we were babysitting?!" Futaba exclaimed.
"Yeah, we found them in Library. Then, the Library got completely smashed," said Spider-Man.
Eda was surprised by this but her surprise was short-lived when she burst into laughter.
"Wait. Wait. Wait. Ahaha! How did this happen?" asked Eda.
"Well, Amity's siblings were messing around when the Wailing Star was happening and then start messing with the books. Which led to a giant version of Otabin trying to sew Luz and Amity into a book. Luckily, Mario was there to help us out," answered Spider-Man. "Not only that, a person name Tex tried to kill Carolina for some reason. She almost died but Sora showed up just in time to save her. We beat her but there was a crazy reveal at the end, it turns out Tex is Carolina's mom."
Eda, King, Hooty, Futaba, and Morgana's eyes widened in shock at the sudden information drop that happened in the Library.
"Whoa… That went pretty dark real quick," said Futaba.
"Y-Yeah… That was a lot of information. Hold on, explain that one time but nice and slow." said Eda.
"Right, I'm sorry about that… It's been a rough night. Let me try that again," said Spider-Man.
Time Passes…
Edric and Emira were resting on Eda's couch. Emira began waking up and groans drowsily.
"What… What happened?" asked Emira drowsy.
Sora noticed Edric and Emira were waking from their slumber. Sora informs Amity about this.
"Hey, Amity. They're waking up," said Sora.
Amity and Luz hears Sora's call and quickly went to go check on the twins.
"Guys, you're up. You guys had us worried earlier," said Luz.
"Edric, Emira! Thank goodness you're safe," said Amity relievedly.
"Ugh... What... Wait, where's that crazy chick?" asked Emira.
"She's gone but we don't know where she went off to. Spider-Man said she's somewhere in the Boiling Isles," answered Amity.
"Ugh... Man, I feel awful..." said Edric drowsily. "Am I dead?"
"No. Today was not our day," answered Emira. "But anyways. Mittens, after we passed out, what happened?" asked Emira.
"After you passed out, that woman tried to kill Carolina. But luck was on our side. Guys, this is Sora. He saved us from the attacker," answered Amity.
Emira and Edric looked at Sora. Emira slightly blushed after Sora's appearance.
"Oh my titan, he's cute…" said Emira quietly.
"She never stood a chance once Sora began to fight against her," said Luz.
"Okay, it's nice to meet you, Sora. But can someone please explain what happened earlier? Who was that crazy lady and why did she try to kill us?" asked Edric.
"Come on, Let's go to talk Washington. He said he'll explain everything once you two wake up," answered Sora.
Sora, Luz, Amity, Edric, and Emira headed outside to speak to Washington. Once exited the Owl House, they find Spider-Man, Washington, and Mario having a conversation but they noticed the others heading outside.
"Oh hey, they're up," said Spider-Man.
"Hey, you're finally awake. I'm assuming you came to me because you want to know what happened earlier, right?" asked Washington.
"That's right. I'm just... I'm just confused about what's going on," said Emira.
Luz remembers what Carolina said earlier as soon she Tex's identity.
"I remember what Carolina said to her. She said "mom" to Tex," said Luz. "If you don't mind me asking, but are they related, Wash?"
"Yes but…" Wash lets out a deep sigh because he's thinking about how is he going to explain this to them. "Okay, I'm gonna try my best to explain this. The reason Carolina said that to Tex is that Tex is a clone of Carolina's mom.
"Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. A clone of her mom?" said Edric. "Dude, that sounds like something from a fictional book."
"She did mention her family was complicated but I didn't know it would be that complicated," said Emira.
"Well, in my universe, when Carolina was born, she was being raised like how any kid would. However, her mother was killed in the Great War. A war that would last two decades. Ever since then her father never paid attention to her or give any thought to caring for her. Carolina didn't have any friends or family to spend with." said Washington.
"Wait, you mean no one? No siblings? No grandparents? No friends?" asked Luz.
"No one…" answered Washington.
"That… That had to be devastating for her," said Emira.
"It was. Edric, Emira… Do you remember what she told you earlier about her family?" asked Washington.
"Yeah… What about it?" asked Edric.
"Let me explain. I'll try to make it quick," said Washington.
Washington explains the history of Carolina and her involvement within Project Freelancer. A woman who lost her family and attempted to achieve her goals but no matter how much she struggles. She couldn't approve of her father. But at one point but she was able to gain closure from her past.
"All that work… Gone to the drain and what did the director do? He runs off to continue his project as if he has nothing else to lose. Guess where ended up? He ended up at a dead end. When people found out what he did. The authorities were looking for him and to place him under arrest for what he did. But the Director went into hiding and after that, he realized his time was running out. In the end, he took his own life, " said Washington.
Spider-Man, Mario, Sora, Edric, Emira, Amity, and Luz had no words to spare for this. Even Amity felt horrible, knowing that Carolina had a difficult life. Also, Amity realized Carolina was worried that Amity might go through a similar situation.
"So, that's why…" said Emira. "It makes sense why she stood up for Amity."
"It's best not to her talk right now. But kids, you should probably head back home. It's been a rough night. Your parents are most likely worried about you," said Washington.
"Yeah... By now, people are already talking about what happened at the library... But man... What an adventure. Thanks for everything, you guys," said Luz.
Amity sighs heavily. Amity looks exhausted, she just wants to go home and rest in her bed.
"This never happened," said Amity coldly.
"Amity, wait," said Spider-Man.
Spider-Man stops Amity for a moment and tells her that they heard what happened.
"The others and I heard everything. The diary. It sounded like you aren't happy about something. I know it's not my business but I can't ignore something or someone who needs help. Is there something wrong Amity?" asked Spider-Man.
Amity is hesitant but remembers what Caboose said to her yesterday about talking to Spider-Man. Amity realized she has to talk to someone about her situation, otherwise, things will get complicated.
"I was just asking because we heard the diary. It's very concerning and we want to know if everything's alright," said Spider-Man.
Amity needs to tell them there is something wrong with her situation. Amity sighs weakly.
"Yes… But can we talk about it another time? I'm tired after all of that," said Amity.
"Of course, I understand. Take all the time you need. Let me know when you wanna talk. I'll be at the Owl house. If I'm not there, talk to my other friends. They'll listen to your story. Ok?" said Spider-Man.
"Thank you Spider-Man," said Amity gratefully.
"By the way, Carolina and I talked to your siblings. We told them to be sure to behave and be more thoughtful for you," said Washington.
"Wait, you talk to them?!" Amity exclaimed.
"Yeah, your siblings made Carolina upset but I made sure those two will never mess with you. They think that's the way to lighten you up, fuck that, hopefully, they will never pull that stunt again," said Washington. "Also, I made sure she didn't kill them."
"But why?" asked Amity.
"Someone had to tell them to stop and behave. It's unhealthy to have that kind of behavior. They treated you too harshly just because you call them out for skipping classes. It's not right for someone to do that to their little sister," said Spider-Man.
Edric and Emira begin thinking about their actions. A heavy pressure began falling on their shoulders. Amity is shocked to hear Carolina and Washington can tell her siblings to behave and treat Amity with more respect and kindness.
"You didn't have to do that, but thank you," said Amity.
"Don't mention kid, you should head home, you need to get rest after what happened. Wouldn't want your parents to be worried about you, right?" asked Washington. "Be sure to stay in school and stay safe, Amity."
Amity smiles after hearing that soft words from someone who is concerned for her.
"Thank you. I won't forget this," said Amity as she makes her leave. Edric and Emira didn't know what to say because what else is there to say after what happened at the Library? But the Blights twins also caught up with her.
"Wait," said Luz. "It doesn't make up for reading your diary, but.." Luz opens her bag and looks for an item. She finds it and offers the item to Amity.
"Would you wanna borrow this?" asked Luz. The item was revealed to be "The Good Witch Azura" Volume 5. Luz is offering it to Amity to read the book because she also admires the Good Witch Azura and she doesn't have the fifth volume in her collection.
"I noticed you only had up to four," said Luz.
"Thank you guys," said Amity. She lets out a small sigh. "Maybe you aren't a bully. I haven't been exactly the friendliest witch either. I'll think on that," said Amity.
Amity and the Blight twins head out. Luz and the others felt bad for Amity. Even Mario and Sora, even though they have no idea what happened earlier but they feel bad for Amity.
"Man, poor kid. I hope she opens up about her situation," said Skull.
"She will. She just needs the time for herself," said Spider-Man.
Location: Bonesborough Library
Meanwhile, the Emperor's Coven is investigating the destruction of Bonesborough library.
"Report, what has happened here?" asked Lilith.
"We only found webs and fire everywhere. Luckily the fire didn't spread. We know this could be Spider-Man but we don't know who caused this fire," said Emperor's Guard.
"I see, we know Spider-Man was here last night but the fire wasn't caused by him. Someone must have been here with Spider-Man," said Lilith.
"You think this someone could be from another world? Another human?" asked the Emperor's Guard.
"Possibly but we'll find out soon," answered Lilith.
"How many humans do you think are coming?" asked the Emperor's Guard.
"I don't know but we mustn't worry about that. If they try to do something, we'll stop them," answered Lilith.
