Chapter 15: "Enter The Ultimate Spider-Man"
Some time has passed since Vault Hunters joined the Owl House. One week has passed. But besides the Boiling Isles. Back in Spider-Man's world. The people of NYC realized the original Spider-Man went missing. No one knows what happened to him. However, one person knows. That is the victim of the mugging, Sarah Smith is the last person that saw Spider-Man. A young teenager was in his room listening to "Just The Facts With J. Jonah Jameson." The young teenager is an African-American and Hispanic descent. He has short black hair with thick eyebrows. The young teenager is leaner and slightly muscular.
"This is Just the Facts With J. Jonah Jameson. Here with another podcast, today I am interviewing Sarah Smith," said J. Jonah Jameson.
"Hello, thank you for having me here," said Sarah.
"You're welcome. So, you were the last person who met Spider-Man. Correct?" asked J. Jonah Jameson.
"Yes. So, here's what happened. When I was being mugged by a bunch of thugs. Spider-Man jumped into the scene to stop them, and in the end, he took care of them. Obviously. One of those muggers took my phone, but they said none of them had it. I noticed a tiny owl had my phone, and Spider-Man chased the little owl. I tried to catch up but they were gone." answered Sarah.
"Really? Is that what happened?" asked J. Jonah Jameson.
"I know it sounds crazy but it's the truth," answered Sarah.
"I see. So here's my theory. Spider-Man killed the little owl and stole your phone. Taking it for whatever reason. Then, realizing he is tired of helping NYC. Retiring from the vigilante work." said J. Jonah Jameson.
"Ok, then No. Something happened but I don't know. I hardly doubt he'll kill an owl. Honestly, I don't see him as the person to kill an owl," said Sarah.
"Then what really happened Mrs. Smith?" asked J. Jonah Jameson.
"While I was trying to catch up with them. There was a flash of light in the alley, I caught up with Spider-man and he went through a door in the middle of the alley. As soon as Spider-Man went through the door, it closed and disappeared." answered Sarah.
"Okay. This sounds ridiculous. Is that what happened? Or I am being played with right now?" asked J. Jonah Jameson.
"That's what happened. But even if it's not true. Then where's Spider-Man? No one hasn't seen him. Not even the other Spider-Man knows where he is." answered Sarah.
"Yes. Speaking of the other Spider-Man. He's still out there causing trouble. Being a menace just like the first Spider-Man." said J. Jonah Jameson harshly.
"Not really. He saved Harlem from Roxxon, the Underground. Even stopping the NuForm development. There's even a mural of him with the other Spider-Man," said Sarah kindly.
"I believe it is time for this interview to end," said J. Jonah Jameson. "It's a pleasure having you here today. Yet another delusional person who believes Spider-Man is a hero. He's a menace…. A.." The young teenager turns off the podcast.
"Why did I even bother listening to that?" asked the teenager as he switched to a different podcast. Danikast podcast. Hosted by Danika Hart.
"Hello! This is the Danikast with Danika Hart," said Danika as she introduces herself to the live podcast. "For today's topic: "Where are you Spider-Man?" So a while ago, the first Spider-Man that we know for a long time is still missing. Now, I know what you're thinking. "Danika, is he really missing?" The answer is yes. The other Spider-Man, the hero who saved Harlem from Roxxon and the Underground, doesn't know where or what happened to the original Spider-Man. He's been looking everywhere for him for the past few weeks. But it hasn't been easy since Spider-Man has to worry about crime around the city. I actually got in contact with Spider-Man, saying he has no idea what happened to the original Spider-Man. He looked everywhere but he couldn't find any clues of his whereabouts. His last whereabouts were back at Sugar hill, a neighborhood in Harlem. A mugging incident occurred, Sarah Smith, the victim of the mugging, was saved by Spider-Man. Mrs. Smith said Spider-Man chased a tiny owl to get her phone back. But both Spider-Man and the tiny owl disappear in the alley. I know it sounds crazy, well it is. Not only that, Martin Li former CEO of F.E.A.S.T, AKA Mr. Negative, and leader of the Demons is now missing too. The Raft security has no clue what happened to Mr. Negative. Martin Li and Spider-Man disappear at the same time. That leaves us one question: What happened to them?"
The podcast ended. The young teenager feels exhausted, resting in his bed. Wondering where Spider-Man ran off to.
"Pete, where are you?" asked the teenager.
The young teenager hears someone knocking on his door. The young teenager gets up from his bed to open the door. He opens the door to see his best friend. His friend is Korean-American, he has black hair, a pair of glasses, a grey shirt, and wearing a pair of blue jeans.
"Hey Miles. Are you doing okay?" asked the teenager.
"Yeah. Just a little tired, Ganke," answered Miles.
"Yeah. I can tell. So, any luck?" asked Ganke.
"No Ganke. Nothing, I know he can take care of himself but he hasn't answered my calls, texts, or anything. How about you, got any information?" asked Miles.
"Nothing. I search the internet to find any leads about where Spider-Man went. But ended up in a dead end." answered Ganke.
Miles sighs exhaustingly. Miles has been for some time considering he's been busy with many activities especially Spider-Man activities.
"Hey, it's gonna be fine. We'll find him. Maybe we might find answers very soon." said Ganke.
As soon as Ganke said that, Miles's Spider-sense is tingling heavily.
"What's wrong?" asked Ganke.
"I don't know but something's coming," answered Miles.
A portal appeared in the room. The color of the portal is blue just as before. Both teenagers were surprised by the sudden appearance of the portal.
"What the?!" Ganke exclaimed.
The portal began creating a vacuum, pulling Miles and Ganke. Miles grabs the wall but he is losing his grip due to the vacuum's strong pull. Other items were pulled into the portal as well.
"GAH! Miles! I'm getting pulled!" Ganke screams.
"Ganke! Hold on!" Miles exclaimed as he grabs Ganke's arm. Miles is giving everything he's got to hold into Ganke's. Unfortunately, the vacuum got stronger and took Miles and Ganke.
Location: Boiling Isles.
Both Miles and Ganke of them transported to another universe. One that many have came to is the Boiling Isles. Everything went black for Miles but he slowly Miles regains consciousness and finds himself in a forest-like environment.
"Ow. What the?" said Miles as he gets up. The first thing he sees is a school. An interesting-looking school. Miles looks around his surroundings, he sees his Spider suit. Luckily, there were close by trees and bushes so no one wouldn't see them. He puts it on very quickly.
The suit has a red and black color scheme. The suit is mostly pure black in color but has red for its spider symbol across the chest that has a V-shape stretching from the groin up to the shoulders. There are outlines throughout the suit's chest and the mask area is colored red against the black scheme. The finger joints where the web shooters are located are red while the palm of the hand is black. On Mile's suit, the black coloring continues on the legs and feet. Miles's suit also has knee pads embedded into the suit for shock absorption due to his powers being slightly different from Peter's. The eye lenses are faded white.
"Ganke! Are you okay?" asked Miles. He checks to see if Ganke is okay. Luckily, he isn't injured. Ganke groans and opens his eyes and sees Miles in his Spider-Man suit.
"Huh? Miles, what happened? And where are we?" asked Ganke.
"Honestly I have no idea. But I feel we aren't Harlem anymore," answered Miles.
"Yeah, I can see that. The sky looks funny and is that a school?" asked Ganke.
"I think so. It's so… Fantasy looking," answered Miles.
"Yeah, something straight from a fantasy novel," said Ganke.
Miles checked to see if some items came along with them. A laptop, two backpacks, Miles spider ideas sketchbook.
"Come on, we should grab our stuff before-" Miles was interrupted by a young girl's voice.
"Spider-Man?" said Willow.
Both of them heard Willow's voice. Miles and Ganke turn to see Willow who confuses to see Spider-Man but in a different color suit.
"Is that you? What's up with the black and red suit?" asked Willow.
"What? This is my suit. Classic red and black," answered Miles.
Willow knows this isn't Spider-Man she knows.
"Okay. Who are you?" asked Willow.
"I'm Spider-Man. You know, the other Spider-Man," answered Miles.
"I thought there was only one Spider-Man. Plus, are you trying to rip off Spider-Man?" asked Willow.
Miles noticed the girl has pointy ears and the clothes she is wearing are like magic-looking clothing.
"Ganke? Do you know something about her?" asked Miles.
"Yeah. I noticed. I know this sounds crazy but I think she's an elf." answered Ganke.
"Really? Hold on. What's your name kid?" asked Miles.
"My name is Willow," answered Willow.
"So, you think I'm a rip-off? Does Spider-Man have a red and blue suit with a white spider symbol?" asked Miles.
"Yes. He's been here in the Boiling Isles to stop Martin Li and other crazy guys. Plus other humans," answered Willow.
"He's here?! Wait, Martin Li is here too?!" asked Miles. He was completely shocked to learn this information.
"Wait, did you say, humans?" asked Ganke.
"Yes. Oh, that's right. There aren't many humans who live here. Mostly populated with Witches, demons, and other kinds of monsters." answered Willow.
Miles and Ganke were surprised to learn the fact they are in a fantasy-like world. But they found it awesome as well.
"That explains it! So Sarah was right all this time. A portal door came in and took Spider-Man here to this weird world," said Ganke. "It happened so fast. No one knows what happened in the first place or has seen it. Except for Sarah but nobody believed her," said Ganke.
"You can't blame everyone. Honestly, a portal door coming out of nowhere… Sounds really far-fetched," said Miles.
"Do you two know Spider-Man?" asked Willow. "Because it seems like you were trying to find him."
"Yes. He's a good friend and my teacher. I've been looking for him back in New York City." answered Miles.
"What?! No way! Spider-Man has a student? New York City? Is that human a city? Man, Gus would be losing it, if he was here," said Willow.
"Yep. That's where we live. I have a question. What is this place?" asked Ganke.
"This is Hexside academy of magic and demonics," answered Willow.
"No way… A school of magic?" asked Ganke.
"A school where young Hexsidians like me learn magic. For example, I am part of the Plant homeroom class. Most students wear these school uniforms but depending on which class they are learning. I am wearing green because I am learning how to do plant magic." answered Willow.
"Oh, I get it. It sounds pretty simple," said Ganke. "It's basically class sections. Not much of a difference."
A bunch of students walked by, and Boscha and her friends noticed Miles in his Spider suit.
"Nice rip-off suit of Spider-Man. The colors are pretty ugly," said Boscha as laughed at Miles's appearance.
"Thanks... Ugh. Still annoying." said Miles slightly irritated.
"Does the girl have three eyes?" asked Ganke.
"Yeah. That's Boscha, one of the popular kids in Hexside and a big jerk. Amity and Boscha are good friends. They've been bullying me." answered Willow.
Miles noticed Willow was a little upset. So Miles believe it was best to prove he is Spider-Man.
"Wanna see something cool?" asked Miles.
"Huh?" Willow was unsure what Miles meant by that.
Miles turns invisible, and Willow is amazed and shocked by Miles's abilities
"Whoa! Where did he go? What did he just do?" asked Willow.
"To simply put it, he can turn invisible," answered Ganke. "Pretty cool right?"
"Whoa! That's so cool. Then, where did he go?" asked Willow
Willow's question was easily answered when Boscha was being disrupted by an invisible force.
"Hey! What the?! Gah!" Boscha screams as her backpack was taken away from her. "What is happening?! Which one of you losers is doing this?!"
"Don't look at me! I ain't doing this," said Skara.
Spider-Man/Miles is messing with Boscha by taking and carrying her backpack. Boscha tried to get it back, but couldn't Spider-Man/Miles dodged her. Miles throws the backpack and shoots a web at it, sticking to one of the pillars.
"Oh come on! Grrrr! Whoever did this, you are dead!" Boscha screams furiously.
Willow chuckles after seeing Boscha getting upset about her backpack. Spider-Man/Miles comes back to Ganke and Willow, then he deactivates his camouflage ability.
"Dude, that was cold but somewhat satisfying to watch," said Ganke.
"Yeah, but the way she got mad was hilarious," said Spider-Man/Miles.
Boscha noticed Willow, Miles, and Ganke laughing behind her back. Even her friends were trying to best to compose themselves from laughter.
"They think it's funny, huh? Hey, rip off Spider-man!" Boscha exclaimed.
"Huh? Yeah, can I help you with something?" asked Miles.
"You think this funny? You wanna know what makes me laugh?" asked Boscha as she cast a fireball spell. "Dodge this!" Boscha throws the fireball at Spider-Man/Miles. Spider-senses are tingling, he perfectly dodges the fireball. Willow and the others were amazed by the graceful dodge.
"Whoa! He moves just like Spider-Man," said Willow.
"Yep, he has similar abilities to the original Spider-Man but he has his own abilities and skillsets," said Ganke.
"Really? That's so… Awesome. Oh, I wanna know what else he can do," said Willow excitingly.
"What the?! Ugh! You got lucky! Now, hold still and let me hit you," said Boscha aggressively.
"Whoa! That was so cool, so magic does exist. Well, I always knew it existed considering Thor has a powerful hammer and is from Asgard with tons of magic stuff. But I never thought I would see it in person," said Spider-Man/Miles.
"Yeah, I thought the same thing as well," said Ganke.
"Wait, you guys don't have magic?" asked Miles.
"Yeah, mostly just regular stuff. But there are superhumans roaming in our world but magic rarely shows up in New York City," answered Ganke.
"You won't be lucky this time!" Boscha gets more frustrated but she continues to cast more fire spells, Miles perfectly dodges all of Boscha's fire spells. Miles taunts Boscha.
"Come on triclops. You need to be faster than that," said Spider-Man/Miles mockingly.
"Drahhh! I'll show you!" Bosch exclaimed. However, someone already interrupted the scene.
"What is going on here?!" asked Principal Bump.
"Huh?" Boscha and everyone turned to see Principal Bump entering the scene. Ganke asks Willow who's that.
"Who's that?" asked Ganke.
"That's Principal Bump, the principal of Hexside Academy," answered Willow.
"Bump? The name sounds oddly funny," said Spider-Man/Miles.
"Principal Bump! My apologies. This rip-off of Spider-Man is making fun of me. Look what he did to my backpack." said Boscha as pointed at the pillar where her backpack is still stuck up there.
"Oh my. You say rip off, interesting take. Well, he does wear a similar outfit as Spider-Man but red and black. Who are you, young man?" asked Principal Bump.
"I'm Spider-Man," said Spider-Man/Miles. "Simple as that."
"Pfft. Yeah right. I'll see is a big fat faker." said Boscha mockingly.
"I see. I believe you are Spider-Man. Your suit is very similar to other Spider-Man," said Principal Bump.
"What?!" Boscha exclaimed in shock.
"I've seen other people attempt to dress as Spider-Man. None have reached the same quality or design. As for this person right here, his suit looks well-made and the design looks like it was done by professionals." said Principal Bump.
"Hey, thanks. My friend and worked on this," said Spider-Man/Miles.
"Fine, hey Spider-Man! Prove us that you are Spider-Man," said Boscha strictly.
"Ok," said Spider-Man/Miles as he uses his camouflage ability.
"Remarkable," Principal Bump was heavily impressed by Spider-Man/Miles's camouflage ability. "Where did he go?"
"Hey! Up here!" said Miles as he gathered the attention of everyone, all of them turned to see Miles on top of the school.
"He's not like the other Spider-Man. This Spider-Man can turn invisible and has something pretty cool but I'll keep the surprise later," said Ganke.
"Oh… I'm liking the suspense of this surprise," said Willow.
"No way, there's another Spider-Man?!" said Boscha in disbelief about the fact there's another Spider-Man. If only she knew.
"Yep. Nice to meet you all. By the way, Boscha, be a good student to others. Trust me, you don't want a lot of students hating you at last year of hexside." said Spider-Man/Miles.
"Everyone, head to your first class. I'll handle the situation," said Principal Bump.
"But that's not fair!" Boscha exclaimed.
"No buts young lady. I suggest you head to class now," said Principal Bump. "This conversation is over."
Boscha didn't argue but she is devastatingly upset that the fact she was humiliated in front of the students who witness the scene. So, Boscha left and headed to Hexside.
"Yes, Principal Bump. See ya you guys. I hope to meet you guys soon," said Willow.
"Take care," said Miles.
"Nice to meet you, Willow," said Ganke.
Willow and the students enter the school and continue their day in Hexside. Now that everyone has left, Principal Bump believes it was time to discuss important matters.
"You two. Come with me to my office. I believe you two have many questions to ask," said Principal Bump.
"Ok. Come on Ganke," said Spider-Man/Miles.
Miles and Ganke followed Principal Bump to his office. Both of them admire the environment of Hexside and wanted to explore the school. But they compose themselves not to.
"Man, I can't tell if I am dreaming or not," said Miles.
"Don't worry, you two are not dreaming," said Principal Bump.
"This school looks amazing. Is it true that students learn how to do magic here?" asked Ganke.
"Yes. Illusions, abominations, plants, and hundreds of magic to learn," answered Principal Bump. "But let's discuss with you two. So, you are Spider-Man. Do you have any connections with the other Spider-Man?"
"Yes. He's a good friend of mine and he's basically my teacher. Since I was bitten by a radioactive spider. I started to change just like what happened to other Spider-Man when he got his powers. Since then, he's been teaching the ways of being Spider-Man." answered Miles.
"I see. Your teacher. Then, what about your friend?" asked Principal Bump.
"Oh right. My name is Ganke. I'm Spider-Man's best friend. Well for me, I help him out with designing his suit, helping find information about bad guys and crime," answered Ganke.
"Ganke has been a great help to me and he's my best friend," said Miles.
"Hey, I tried. Thanks," said Ganke.
"Interesting. May I ask you something?" asked Principal Bump.
"Yes." answered Yes.
"Did you two wander to the Boiling isles by accident because a portal brought you here?" asked Principal Bump.
"Yeah, a portal came out of nowhere and it sent us here," answered Miles. "How do you know that?" asked Miles.
"You two aren't the only ones who came here by accident. Other humans came here the same way you two did. Men wearing strange color armor. A young man has the power to manipulate smoke and neon power sources. A group of young teenagers as thieves. Even your mentor is here, Spider-Man." answered Principal Bump.
"Oh thank god. I was worried we wouldn't be able to find him," said Miles.
"Your mentor is doing well. But let me finish. People have been theorizing that these humans aren't from the same human realm that we know. Instead, multiple human realms, worlds that seem different. Where most humans have the power summons abomination-like creatures, another where humans can use powers from any source, fire, ice, thunder, and more. Another realm where humans have resources that are unfamiliar in our world." said Principal Bump.
"Whoa. That's a lot to take. Do you mean like other superheroes?" asked Ganke.
"Something like that. I know it is difficult to believe it but it's the truth," answered Principal Bump.
"Principal Bump, do you know where Spider-Man is?" asked Miles.
"He lives with Eda the Owl Lady," answered Principal Bump.
"Eda the Owl lady? Who is she?" asked Ganke.
"An infamous witch criminal throughout the Boiling Isles. There's even her poster right there," answered Principal Bump as he pointed at a wanted poster of Eda the Owl lady. Both are surprised to see the reward of her bounty.
"Whoa. That's a lot of money. Is she really that dangerous?" asked Ganke.
"Yes, well, not really. She's more of a trickster. Edalyn is a very powerful witch. The Emperor's coven has attempted multiple times to catch her but failed. When she was younger, she was one of my students. However, she pulled pranks, scams, and made graffiti around the school, and the school staff couldn't do anything to clean up her mess because she placed spells in her mess." answered Principal Bump.
"Dang. I'm sorry you went through all that," said Spider-Man/Miles.
"Here I thought I had a worse experience back on the clean-up-the-rivers project… Ugh… Hudson was the worst part," said Ganke. He feels disgusted after thinking about the Hudson city pump station.
"Don't worry I experience worse. Anyways, recently, She cleaned up the mess she made here at hexside. But Handsome Jack decided to ruin everything for the campus," said Principal Bump.
"Handsome Jack? Who is that and why would he call himself that?" asked Spider-Man/Miles.
"Emperor Belo's new friend and a president of the Hyperion Corporations. But I think Eda's friends will help gain a better idea of who he really is once you met her," answered Principal Bump.
"So, Eda decided to clean up the school. Really? What made her do that? That seems out of her character," said Ganke.
"She came here to enroll her student. A human name Luz," said Principal Bump.
"Luz?" said Spider-Man/Miles.
"Oh right. Luz is the first human to appear in the Boiling Isles. One time, she snuck here at Hexside pretending to be Willow's abomination. I almost dissected her." said Principal Bump.
"Dissect her? Why would you do that?" asked Spider-Man/Miles.
"Because abominations are slime-like creatures and students have dissected their abominations for assignments and learn how abominations function. Also, I wanted to see if she would freak out and cut the act," answered Principal Bump.
"You mention Willow had this abomination thing," said Ganke. "Was she part of the abomination class?"
"Yes. Willow Park was once part of the abomination track but she's been falling behind. But when I tried to catch Luz. Willow stopped me with her plant magic, it was beautiful. It made me realize that Willow was destined for plant magic. So I decided to switch her to the Plant magic track." answered Principal Bump.
"Wow. Looks like Luz helped her get the magic track she needs. I'm assuming she's doing well." said Spider-Man/Miles.
"Indeed, she's doing a fantastic job in the plant's homeroom track," said Principal Bump.
"Nice. Also, why is there a wanted poster of Spider-Man?" asked Ganke. "Or is that for decorations?"
Ganke points out the wanted poster of Spider-Man. Miles and Ganke are worried he has a bounty.
"Uh oh. Principal Bump, what did Spider-Man do to get himself a bounty?" asked Spider-Man/Miles.
"Oh right," said Principal Bumps as let out a heavy sigh. "Your mentor fought against the leader of the Emperor's coven, Lilith Clawthrone."
"Lilith Clawthrone? She sounds important and a person you should worry about. What's her story?" asked Ganke.
"Lilith Clawthrone is the leader of the Emperor's coven and one of the most powerful witches in the Boiling Isles. She attempted to capture Eda the Owl lady but Spider-Man interfered. The two fought, it was an intense battle. In the end, Spider-Man defeated Lilith and that's how he got a bounty." answered Principal Bump.
"Man, that's crazy. I knew Spider-Man would never lose," said Spider-Man/Miles.
"That's insane, $550,000,000. That's a lot of money," said Ganke.
"Indeed. I was surprised to see Lilith lost against a human. Spider-Man is an interesting human, and more shocking to discover he has a student." said Principal Bump.
"Yeah, it's awesome. I have a question. Where can we find Spider-Man?" asked Spider-Man/Miles.
"He's probably at the Owl house. The home of Eda the Owl Lady. Here." answered Principal Bump as he summons a map of the Boiling Isles, he summons a pen to mark the location of the Owl house.
"It's not that far. Just a few miles away from the school," said Principal Bump.
"Nice, wow. It's kinda close by," said Spider-Man/Miles.
"Alright, come on let's get going," said Ganke.
"Wait just a moment! I recommend not going out there wearing that. The Emperor's Coven is looking for Spider-Man, they may think you have a connection with him. Considering how well made it is," said Principal Bump.
"Yeah, you're probably right. Is there a restroom nearby?" asked Spider-Man/Miles.
"Yes, once you exit the office head right and you should be able to find it," answered Principal Bump.
"Hey, Ganke. Do you have my clothes?" asked Spider-Man/Miles.
"Here are your clothes," answered Ganke as passed his backpack to Spider-Man/Miles.
"Thanks. I'll be back for a moment," said Spider-Man/Miles.
"Don't worry about being caught. Everyone should be in class as usual," said Principal Bump.
"Yep. Thanks, Principal Bump," said Spider-Man/Miles. He realized his secret identity might be exposed to Principal Bump. "Oh, wait, my identity. Hey Bump. I like to keep my identity a secret. Hopefully, you don't mind if I keep that to myself."
"Not to worry, your secret's safe with me considering you are Spider-Man's pupil. I'm in his debt for helping to protect our campus. You are welcome to come here anytime. Now run along before you two bring any unwanted attention. But before you go, it's best to head the normal route. There is a shortcut but it's risky to head through the forest on your own. For the normal route, it will take you half an hour to head there," said Principal Bump.
Miles exits the office and heads to the men's restroom. He quickly changed back into his casual clothes. He puts his suit in the backpack and exits the restroom.
"All right, you ready to head out," said Ganke
"Ok, thanks for the heads up see you later," said Miles.
"Take care Principal Bump and thanks for your help," said Ganke.
"Oh! I almost forgot. In town, Eda does have a stand. It's called "Human collectibles." You should be able to find it on your way to the Owl House. Be sure to check there, Eda may be there around this time." said Principal Bump.
"Okay, by the way. I'll my best to stay a low profile. But if there is something bad happening. I can't watch and let it happen. I have to do something about it," said Miles.
Principal Bump can see a lot of bravery and responsibility within Miles. Just like Spider-Man. He understands why Spider-Man chooses him as his student.
"I can see why Spider-Man chose you as his pupil," said Principal Bump. "Good luck on finding Eda you two."
"Thanks for the heads up, Principal Bump," said Ganke as he and Miles make their way to the Owl house.
Time Passes...
They headed to the town of Bonesborough. Miles and Ganke were fascinated with the bizarre and creepy environment of the Boiling Isles.
"This place is kinda creepy but breathtaking to look at," said Ganke.
"Yeah, I can't believe Spider-Man has been here this whole time," said Miles.
"Hey Miles. Remember when Willow mentioned Martin Li here as well," said Ganke. "It explains why Raft security couldn't find any evidence of why he disappeared."
"Yeah, when Spider-Man disappeared, Martin went missing as well at the same time," said Miles.
"It makes sense why Spider-Man hasn't come back. He's been busy in this world," said Ganke. "It's all starting to make sense now."
"I was thinking about that too. But let's worry about that later once we find Eda," said Miles.
"Yeah. I hope it doesn't bother you. Knowing that Martin Li did so much to New York City and you as well," said Ganke calmly.
"It's okay. Eventually, this was gonna happen. Martin Li wasn't gonna stay locked up forever. Somehow or someway he was gonna break free. It was a matter of time to face Spider-Man supervillains. I beat Rhino, Roxxon, the Underground even Phin. I can also beat Martin-Li," said Miles.
Ganke feels relief to know that his best friend Miles is okay. It was a tough time for Miles back then. When his father, Jefferson Davis passed away from the city hall bombing. Things were tough for him but Miles already knows he will face powerful foes and challenges in the future. Miles fought against Rhino, The Tinkerer, Roxxon, and the Underground. Ganke has been a good friend to Miles and he wants to make sure Miles is doing well.
"Hey, that's good to hear. But, if something comes up on your mind you let me know, okay?" said Ganke.
"I will and thanks, Ganke. Come on let's go. We should be almost there," said Miles.
"No, just let us go!" The civilian exclaimed.
Miles and Ganke turn to see a group of thugs attempting to rob a father and daughter. Miles couldn't let this scene continue, it is not his nature.
"Really… Principal Bump I know I promised to stay low profile. But I can't ignore this," said Miles.
"I had a feeling you were gonna say that. Go get 'em!" said Ganke.
Miles changes into his suit, back to the crime scene.
"Daddy… I'm scared," said the Child worryingly.
"Just give us the money. No need to struggle with this," said the Thug.
"Look, just take the money and leave us alone!" said the Civilian beggingly.
"Hey, guys!" Spider-Man/Miles gathers the attention of the group of thugs. They were confused by the appearance of Spider-Man/Miles.
"Ha! This kid is pretending to be Spider-Man. You got the wrong colors, kid." said the second Thug mockingly.
"Yeah, it may be wrong. But you're talking to the wrong Spider-Man. I am my own Spider-Man," said Spider-Man/Miles as he attacks the thug with a Venom punch, after that basic combo attack, taking him out very easily. Miles performs a finisher to the second thug by web strike and front flip kick and uses a venom punch to finish him off.
Bio-electricity is also known as Venom powers due to Miles and Ganke naming it. This ability grants Miles stockpile amounts of Bio-electricity energy and releases it at his own will. He can use Venom's energy for several offensive and defensive skills, he can use his Venom abilities to explore the city. There's Venom Punch, Venom Jump, Venom Dash, and Mega Venom Blast.
"Come on guys! He can't take all of us!" said the third Thug.
Spider-Man/Miles turns invisible, the remaining thugs are startled and confused. They thought he disappeared and left.
"What the?! Where did the brat go?!" asked the Thug worryingly. Miles is waiting for the right moment to strike, and one of the thugs calms down, thinking Spider-Man left. But Spider-Man/Miles performs a stealth takedown. Spider-Man/Miles web yanks the thug's right leg, the thug collapses to the ground and Miles finishes him off with a Venom attack. Spider-Man/Miles attacked the last three thugs with a Venom jump, and all of them got stunned by the Venom energy in the process. Spider-Man/Miles air combos each thug, knocking them all out.
"That's the last of them. Are you okay guys?" asked Spider-Man/Miles.
"That was totally awesome!" the Child cheers for Spider-Man/Miles' bravery.
"Yes, we are thanks to you." answered the Civilian. "But who are you? Spider-Man has never done those moves before."
"I'm Spider-Man. Well, the Spider-Man you know, he's my friend," answered Spider-Man/Miles.
"Really? I never knew he had a student. Well, Spider-Man thank you for saving us." said The Civilian.
"You're welcome. Well, gotta go. See you later, stay safe you two." said Spider-Man/Miles.
Miles turns invisible, leaves the scene, and heads back to Ganke.
"Did you see daddy? It was so cool." said the Child. She was amazed by Spider-Man/Miles's incredible abilities.
"Haha. I know, I saw the whole thing. Now come on, we should report these thugs to the Emperor's Coven," said the Civilian.
Spider-Man/Miles goes back to Ganke and disables his camouflage.
"I'm back," said Spider-Man/Miles.
"Okay. Man, I Still need to get used to that of you turning invisible," said Ganke.
"We should head out before someone sees us," said Spider-Man/Miles.
"Aren't you gonna switch back to clothes?" asked Ganke.
"I think I'm good, people might think I'm a fan of Spider-Man," answered Spider-Man/Miles.
"Are you sure that's a good idea?" asked Ganke. "Principal Bump told you not to wear your suit until we make it to the Owl house. It might bring a lot of attention, especially the Emperor's Coven."
"I can turn invisible. Plus, you may never know what else will show up," answered Spider-Man/Miles.
"Yeah but only temporarily. Just make sure you don't get caught because there are a lot of people around," said Ganke.
"I got this," said Spider-Man/Miles as he heads to the rooftops and views the town of Bonesborough.
"Wow. I'm surprised no one didn't notice me yet. Don't worry, go ahead. I'll follow you," said Spider-Man/Miles.
Ganke and Spider-Man/Miles continued their way to explore the market. Until Spider-Man/Miles saw something strange and specific sign. A simple stand says "Human Collectibles."
"Hey Ganke, do you see that sign right there?" asked Spider-Man/Miles.
"Yeah, "Human Collectibles?" Yep, this is the one. This is Eda's stand. I think it's open," said Ganke.
"Maybe, you should check it out. I'll be nearby watching," said Spider-Man/Miles.
"Ok, I'll go check it out," said Ganke as he walks up to the stand, he sees a bunch of items. Clothes, batteries, and other human-related items.
"Hello, is anyone here?" asked Ganke.
"Oh hi. Just a sec," answered Luz as exits of the tent. "Can I help you?"
"Just looking around. Wait, are you human?" asked Ganke.
"Yeah. Why do you ask?" asked Luz.
Ganke removes his hoodie, to reveal his human ears.
"Whoa! You're a human just like me," answered Luz. "Wait, how did you end up here?"
"Honestly, I have no idea. This blue portal showed up out of nowhere at my friend's place. And here we are." answered Ganke.
"Just like the others. Hang on just a sec. Eda!" said Luz as she calls Eda.
Ganke and Luz wait for a few seconds, Eda comes out tent of the stand.
"What is it, kid? Oh, a customer! Anything caught your eye?" asked Eda.
"Oh, just seeing what's here. Aren't you Eda the Owl Lady?" asked Ganke.
"Perhaps, what do you want?" asked Eda. She finds Ganke a bit suspicious considering he asks that specific question.
"Nothing, Principal Bump told me about you. He told me that Spider-Man lives with you and you must be Luz," answered Ganke.
"Yep, I'm assuming Principal Bump told you about the abomination incident," said Luz.
"Yeah but he also mentioned you got enrolled in Hexside. Congrats on that," said Ganke.
"Heh. Thanks. It was a tricky process but we were able to manage it," said Luz.
"Okay, but I'm not the only one who came here. Spider-Man, you can come out now," said Ganke as he calls out Spider-Man/Miles.
"Huh? What the?" asked Eda.
Spider-Man/Miles jumps down in front of the stand, Luz and Eda are shocked to see Spider-Man but notice he's wearing a red and black suit.
"Whoa! Nice costume," said Luz. She realized and recognized the design of his suit. "Wait a minute."
"Am I getting played with? What is this?" asked Eda.
"No. I'm Spider-Man," answered Spider-Man/Miles.
"Pfft! Hahaha!" Eda laughs at this and she is not taking this seriously. "Good one kid! What a cheap knock-off suit."
"Really? To be honest, I've never got that impression. Well, I should've seen that coming," said Spider-Man/Miles.
"Eda… Wait, his suit looks very similar to the other Spider-Man suit. I've seen other people try to replicate the suit but none have come this close in quality," said Luz.
Screaming can be heard near the area. Another group of thieves is stealing valuables from a nearby stand. Good timing to prove to Eda that Miles is Spider-Man.
"Guess it's time to improvise. Hang on. Let me deal with this." said Spider-Man/Miles.
Spider-Man/Miles web swung out. Eda and Luz are shocked to see Miles' web swing away to the crime scene.
"Whoa! What the heck?! Who is this kid?" asked Eda.
"He's Spider-Man," answered Ganke. "It's best to watch the show."
"Wait really? I didn't know there was another Spider-Man," said Luz.
"Wait. Wait. Wait. You mean to me there's another Spider-Man? So does the kid have any connection with the other Spider-Man?" asked Eda.
"Yeah, the first Spider-Man taught him the ways of being Spider-Man," answered Ganke.
"What?! Really? He never told me that he had a student," said Eda.
Back to Miles, he's fighting against a group of thugs. He performs Venom Jump, stunning all enemies. Eda and Luz are amazed by Miles' skills. Then, Spider-Man/Miles shoots a web gadget. Gravity Well, this gadget creates gravity pull to gather enemies together, the gravity well knocks the enemies off their feet and makes them defenseless. This gadget is useful for crowd control and taking out a group of enemies easily. Spider-Man/Miles uses Venom Smash, he jumps in the air, generates Bio-electricity on his hand, and slams his fist to the ground. The group of thieves screams in agony after receiving devastating Venom damage. After the damage was done, the group of thieves was easily defeated.
"Seriously guys. Don't steal. It's literally that simple," said Spider-Man/Miles. The thugs groan in agony. "I'll take that as a yes."
"Yep, that's what happens if you hurt people. Also, don't do it again," said Spider-Man/Miles.
"Thank you." said the Civilian gratefully.
"You're welcome. Stay safe out there," said Spider-Man/Miles as he heads back to Eda, Luz, and Ganke.
Civilian feels relief after being saved by Spider-Man. The civilian walks off to safety.
"Whoa. Nice moves kid," said Eda.
"How did you do that?" asked Luz. "Your zappy hands are so cool."
"It's just Bio-electricity. But Ganke and I call it Venom. I appreciate the kind words. So, about Spider-Man. Is he at your place?" asked Spider-Man/Miles.
Unfortunately, somebody interrupts their interaction by yelling halt.
"Halt!" The Emperor's Guard halts them
The Emperor's guards are there but with Lilith.
"Uh oh. Kids, we better scram. It's my sister. A real pain in my neck," said Eda.
"Sisters?!" Spider-Man/Miles exclaimed.
"What?! Lilith is your sister?!" asked Ganke.
"Yeah, pretty shocking and complicated," answered Luz.
"What do we have here?" asked Lilith. "A child playing dress-up."
"Hey, I'm 17! So, you must be Lilith. I heard a few things about you. But something caught my attention that I heard Spider-Man beat you." answered Spider-Man/Miles.
Lilith didn't like that. Eda noticed Lilith is getting a little annoyed.
"Uh, kid. I know you're Spider-Man but you don't want to mess with Lily. Your mentor, struggled to fight against my sis," said Eda cautiously.
"Yeah. We don't want any trouble. So let's talk about this like normal people." said Ganke.
"Silence! I don't any distractions this time," said Lilith strictly.
"Lily, leave the kid alone. Look, I know it's been difficult for the past few weeks. But can you just look the other way today?" asked Eda.
"Sister, I can't do that. Not after what happened with my battle against Spider-Man. Both of you are criminals and you are coming with me whether you like it or not," answered Lilith.
"What are you talking about?" asked Ganke. "He saved that person from those thugs."
"Yes, but he violated the law. He hasn't joined a coven, illegal vigilante, and disrupting the peace," answered Lilith.
"Now hold on just a minute and listen to us," said Eda calmly.
"No, all of you will come with you quietly or else," said Lilith as she cast a chain spell on Luz. The chains surround Luz.
"Ow! Hey!" Luz exclaimed.
Eda was shocked but her shock reaction immediately turn into frustration.
"Lily! What do you think you're doing?!" asked Eda upsettingly.
"Hey, don't hurt her! We don't have to do this," said Spider-Man/Miles.
"Eda, I'm okay. It's just slightly crushing me," said Eda.
"You're not okay. Lilith, if you try anything," said Eda frustratingly.
"Then do as I say. I'm sorry Edalyn but your days of running will eventually run out. So, let me put an end to this," said Lilith.
Spider-Man/Miles is in deep trouble. He could listen to Lilith or he has to fight her. Miles remembers what Principal Bump said that Spider-Man defeated Lilith once. If he can defeat her, Spider-Man/Miles can too.
"Come on now. We don't have all day. So, what's it going to be?" asked Lilith.
"Hey Lilith," answered Spider-Man/Miles. "You know what I have to say to that."
Spider-Man/Miles attacks Lilith with a Venom Dash. This ability is heavily effective against a fast-moving enemy. Even Venom Dash can be connected with a Venom Jump. Spider-Man/Miles sends Lilith to a bunch of barrels and stands.
"GAHHH!" Lilith screams in agony
"Alright, Guys! Time for you to go!" said Spider-Man/Miles.
"Dude! What about you?! I think you made her more upset than before," said Ganke worryingly.
"Don't worry I got this," said Spider-Man/Miles confidently.
"That's it! Whenever I tried to do my job, something always gets in my way. This time I won't be bested by a CHILD!" Lilith screams furiously.
"Sorry, but not gonna happen. You know, I don't want to fight but what you did was seriously messed up," said Spider-Man/Miles.
"Silence child! She's just a human. All you don't even matter to us witches!" Lilith exclaimed.
"What do you mean by that?" asked Spider-Man/Miles.
Lilith prepares for battle as she brings her staff. Spider-Man/Miles makes his first move with a web strike. But Lilith cast a fire spell, and Miles perfectly air-dodged it. After that, venom dash. Lilith gets stunned by the Venom Dash electricity. Spider-Man/Miles attacks Lilith with a basic combo.
"Lilith, why do you want to capture Eda so badly?" asked Spider-Man/Miles. "I know she's a criminal, but looks like she's doing business."
"You don't understand, Edalyn made a stand without a permit," answered Lilith.
"Oh, I see. But why would you take Luz as a hostage?" asked Spider-Man/Miles.
"Edalyn has a weakness, whatever it takes to capture Edalyn. The human child is her weakness. We all have to take advantage of our enemies in one way or another," answered Lilith.
"Ok, Seriously, that's messed up. She has a name you know. So far, I'm starting why you got into a fight with Spider-Man in the first place," said Spider-Man/Miles as he attacks Lilith but she dodges his attack and counters him with a fire spell attack. Miles screams in pain.
"Ow. Okay… My turn," said Spider-Man/Miles as he attacks Lilith with a Venom Punch. After that with venom jump, and performing an air finisher, air uppercut, and punch down strike, sending Lilith down to the ground.
"So what happened between you and Eda?" asked Spider-Man/Miles. "Family drama?"
"It's none of your business! Don't assume everything about us," answered Lilith.
"Ok. I have a question. Why is she called "Eda the Owl Lady?" asked Spider-Man/Miles.
Lilith didn't respond, instead, she attacked Miles with an ice spell. Miles dodges it, and after that, he activates his camouflage ability. Lilith is startled and cautious of her surroundings.
"Come on out tiny spider. I know you're here," answered Lilith.
Miles performs a sneak attack behind Lilith. Miles continues with a combo attack. Lilith pushes Miles away with a fire spell. Spider-Man/Miles shoots a unique web gadget from his arsenal of web gadgets, the Holo-Drone. Once this web gadget is deployed, it generates a hard light hologram that will assist Spider-Man/Miles in combat. two holo drones. Lilith is distracted from dealing with the Holo drones, she thought destroying them would be the case. However, she didn't know that destroying would lead to destructive damage. The Holo-Drones explode, and Lilith screams in pain. Spider-Man/Miles' web strikes Lilith, and after that, a Venom Punch to the face, shocking Lilith. Miles performs a finisher by shooting a web at her, kicking her in the face, and after that venom uppercut. Miles sends Lilith back, crashing into a pile of barrels. Lilith tries to recover but the venom electricity is paralyzing her.
"Come on Lilith. Let's forget this ever happened. Ok?" said Spider-Man/Miles. However, Lilith gives him a deadly look. "No? Seriously Lilith?!"
"ARGHH!" Lilith screams furiously as she attacked Spider-Man/Miles and didn't have enough time to dodge, Lilith attacked Miles with her staff and after that a powerful fire spell. Suffering a Critical Hit, sending Spider-Man/Miles flying back.
"GARHHH!" Spider-Man/Miles screams in pain. He crashes into a wall and collapses to the ground. Spider-Man/Miles attempts to get up but Lilith places her foot on his head.
"Such a foolish child. Trying to be a hero, instead, makes things worse for everyone. You shouldn't have worn that mask. Once I remove your mask, everyone you love will suffer the consequences," said Lilith cruelly.
Spider-Man/Miles thinks about his loved ones. His mother, Ganke, Hailey, Teo, and Teo's cat Spider-Man, Gloria, Camila Vázquez, and all of Harlem. He remembers his dad's words.
"Maybe I'm just a guy who doesn't give up," said Jefferson Davis.
Spider-Man/Miles reminded himself that he is Spider-Man. He can do this.
"Remember Miles, you're Spider-Man," said Spider-Man/Miles confidently.
"Submit child. Do not make this more complicated than it already is," said Lilith.
"I made a promise and I am gonna keep it. I'm not a child. I'm Spider-Man. Also, you're too close," said Spider-Man/Miles.
What?" said Lilith unsurely of what Spider-Man/Miles meant by that.
Spider-Man/Miles' body starts charging up with Venom energy, the Bio-electricity flows through his body. Miles uses his ultimate attack. Mega Venom Blast. A huge venom blast explodes.
"ARGH!" Lilith screams in pain, she falls down to the ground. Spider-Man/Miles gets up and looks at Lilith who is still suffering from Venom electricity.
"Okay, fine have it your way. But don't start crying once you lose," said Spider-Man/Miles.
"Oh… You're gonna get it!" Lilith screams furiously.
Spider-Man/Miles puts on his earphones and plays a song. Lilith sees this and finds this more infuriating. As if Spider-Man/Miles is insulting her.

"Music? Really? Oh… You're definitely way over your head," said Lilith furiously.
Spider-Man/Miles carefully focuses and waits for Lilith to make her move. Lilith quickly makes her move. She attempts to strike Spider-Man/Miles with her staff however he perfectly dodges her attack. Spider-Man/Miles counters by using Venom Dash. Then, did a Venom Punch, and perform a finisher by shooting a web at Lilith's staff then he grabs her staff, throwing her staff back at her. The Emperor's Guards provide support to Lilith. One of them cast an ice spell at Spider-Man/Miles, however, he dodges them and continues to dodge more incoming projectiles. Until Spider-Man/Miles uses Venom Dash at the guard, following with a Venom Jump. Then finishing off the guard with a basic air combo. Spider-Man/Miles performs a finisher by jumping over the guard's attack, then he shoots a web at the ground and produces Venom on his right hand, placing his hand at the guard's neck. Then, Spider-Man/Miles does a backflip to back away from the guard. The Emperor's Guard attempted to attack however the Venom shocked and damaged him enough to knock him out instantly, and collapses to the ground. Then, Spider-Man/Miles uses Venom Dash to another Emperor's Guard and followed up with a Venom Jump. Other guards were nearby the radius of the Venom Jump, so all of them went flying up with Spider-Man/Miles. One by one, Spider-Man/Miles takes down each guard with air combos and finishes them off by sending the guards flying to other market stands and barrels. The group of Emperor Guards was defeated, and now Spider-Man/Miles can focus back on his fight against Lilith. Spider-Man/Miles shoots standard web projectiles. However, Lilith places a fire shield around her to burn away the webs.
"I guess she must've learned a lot after she fought Pete," said Spider-Man/Miles.
Lilith barely recovers from the Venom damage and quickly dashes behind Spider-Man/Miles. He dodges Lilith's back strike, however, Lilith quickly follows with a large fire spell, hitting Spider-Man/Miles. He groans in pain but he quickly recovers and sees many objects nearby, perfect projectiles to throw at Lilith. Spider-Man/Miles web throws each object nearby at Lilith. Her shield was fading due to all the projectiles being thrown at her. One barrel contains water, and Spider-Man/Miles web throws the water barrel at Lilith. This destroyed the fire shield around Lilith.
"Again?!" Lilith exclaimed.
"Gotcha!" said Spider-Man/Miles as he performs Venom Dash, grabs Lilith and threw her to the wall. Spider-Man/Miles performs a basic combo, each strike pushes Lilith to the wall over and over. He uses a gadget known as the Remote Mine. Once this gadget has been fired, it can be remotely triggered at any time, once detonated it electrifies and damage enemies. Then he shoots a Remote Mine and detonates it. Shocking Lilith in the process then Spider-Man/Miles used Venom Punch to double up the electricity damage. Lilith groans in agony and fell to her knees after receiving devastating shock damage. Lilith feels like she's about to collapse however she refuses to let herself be bested by Spider-Man/Miles.
"Oh… Do you think you can beat me? One of us is going to eat dirt and I can assure you. It will be you!" Lilith exclaimed furiously as she barely recovers.
Lilith dashes around Spider-Man/Miles to find the right opening. However, Spider-Man/Miles taunts Lilith by using a beckoning sign by telling her to bring it on. Lilith finds this infuriating. Spider-Man/Miles realized that Lilith is becoming more aggressive. He believes it was best to use Mega Venom Blast once again at her, knowing it can potentially defeat her. But he needs to find the right moment to use it. Considering it takes somewhat time to charge it up during combat. Spider-Man/Miles uses Remote Mines at Lilith however she easily destroys them by casting a fire spell.
"No! Enough of your tricks! I'm growing sick of your little toys," said Lilith as she cast multiple fire spells at Spider-Man/Miles. More Emperor's guards came in to support Lilith. "This time I won't lose to another of your kind."
"Well, that's not fair… Guess it's my turn," said Spider-Man/Miles.
"What?" said Lilith unsurely.
Lilith was confused by Spider-Man/Miles' comment. Spider-Man/Miles uses a gravity well to pull Lilith and the Emperor's guards, then he performs Venom Dash and went for Lilith following with a Venom Jump. Lilith and the Emperor's Guards were caught in the radius and went upwards with Spider-Man/Miles. Eda, Luz, and Ganke were surprised to see the damage Spider-Man/Miles was doing in a matter of seconds. All of them were staggered by the Bio-electricity. Spider-Man/Miles air combos each guard, knocking them out one by one and goes for Lilith. Then, Spider-Man/Miles performs a finisher on Lilith by kicking her then shooting webs at her to bring her closer, and kicking her in the chest. Lilith falls to the ground, she attempts to get up from the ground however, she keeps collapsing to the ground due to Venom damage staggering her. Spider-Man/Miles sees Lilith struggling to get back up and finds her completely vulnerable. He takes the opportunity to use Mega Venom Blast to finish this fight. Spider-Man/Miles web strikes Lilith then prepares to unleash Mega Venom Blast. Lilith saw Spider-Man/Miles was going to release the Mega Venom Blast.
"Wait-" Lilith was about to tell Spider-Man to tell him to stop. However, it was unfortunately too late to prevent him.
Spider-Man/Miles releases the Mega Venom Blast, and Lilith screams in complete agony. The blast was enough to take down Lilith and end the fight.
The Owl House X Spider-Man: Miles Morales
Lilith fell unconscious from the Mega Venom Blast. Luz, Eda, and Ganke are shocked to see a quick fight. Spider-Man/Miles defeated Lilith.
"Miles! Are you okay?" asked Ganke.
"Whoa! Is-Is she dead?" asked Luz worryingly.
"No. She's knocked out. But she is not gonna feel great once she wakes up. This Venom stuff packs a punch." answered Spider-Man/Miles.
"Yeah, after seeing those guys getting hit by that. They haven't gone back up," said Luz. "But dude… You were kicking her butt. You didn't even give her a chance."
"It's that Venom powers. Once, you get hit by that stuff, it's gonna hurt a lot," said Ganke.
Eda quickly went to go check on Lilith if she was okay. Eda was not surprised by the fact Lilith was not okay. She wanted to make sure Lilith was still alive after the Mega Venom Blast.
"Poor Lily," said Eda. "At least you tried."
"Should we help her up?" asked Luz.
"I appreciate that Luz but if we did help her. She would've tried to capture us again. Trust me, I know her for a long time better than anyone," answered Eda. "It's best for the Emperor Losers to come to pick her up."
"Man, that's some cool moves you got their kid. Honestly… It was pretty scary to look at," said Luz slightly worryingly about Spider-Man/Miles Venom's abilities. "Because honestly, I feel bad for her getting beat up like that."
"Yeah sorry about all that. with your sister and thanks. I was hoping to not get into a big fight," said Spider-Man/Miles.
"Look. I wish Lily wasn't a jerk. Well, she has her orders to do, so you can't really blame her for trying to get it done," said Eda.
"Aren't you mad at me? Even after all of that?" asked Spider-Man/Miles.
"Not really. I do feel bad for her though. I wish she was better than this. Not being a steeping stool for Emperor Belos," answered Eda.
"Whoa! That was one hell of a fight." said the Mysterious Man.
Everyone was alerted by that familiar voice and saw the young man wearing a black mask skull-looking mask. He walks up to Lilith.
"It's that guy again. But who's that?" asked Luz.
They see an ominous-looking woman with Mysterious Man. The Ominous woman had a dark purple pillbox cocktail hat that has black cloth hiding the woman's face, there is a small red jewel attached to the hat along with three white feathers and the tip of the feathers had purple color on it. She has white hair and her hair is braided and wrapped around in a donut bun hairstyle. She is wearing a white cape, a long purple bustier dress, and purple high heels.
"Really Lilith? Get up, you dumbass." said the Mysterious man harshly.
"An outstanding show, young one," said the Black masked woman. "I must say. You're getting me excited to start a fight. However, I have to wait for that moment for another time."
The Mysterious young man heals Lilith. Lilith wakes up and checks her surroundings. She sees the person who healed her.
"Terrible performance, Lilith. I expected more from the leader of the Emperor's Coven," said the Ominous woman.
"W-What? Oh, you," said Lilith disappointingly. "What are you two doing here?"
"Come on Lilith. Today, you made a huge mess. Emperor Belos is not gonna like this," said the Ominous woman.
"Can't you see I'm in the middle of something?" asked Lilith.
"It looks like you lost miserably." answered the black-masked woman. "Honestly, I expected more from you, Lilith."
"Black Dahlia. I know you recently joined the Emperor's Coven but I'm the leader of the coven. So, you can't just order me around," said Lilith strictly.
"Black Dahlia?" said Spider-Man/Miles.
"Oh right… Allow me to introduce you to the Top Enforcers of the Medici family. Black Dahlia," said the Mysterious man.
"How nice of you for the respect. Unlike some people who didn't even bother to introduce me to their friends," said Black Dahlia as she moves her cape behind her back, revealing her full body.
Luz and the others were shocked to see her full body. Her right arm is a large prosthetic gun that has six rounds on it, and both her legs are prosthetic limbs but they looked well-advanced. Her left arm looks normal, and she has a pearl necklace on her shoulder and wearing a white long glove. On both of her thighs, she is wearing a purple stripe but her prosthetic legs are colored white, it looks like it's supposed to be long white socks in a way.
"Why should I? You're only here because Belos invited you to join the Emperor's Coven. I'm not going to listen to lowly humans. Especially to the likes of you!" said Lilith cruelly.
Black Dahlia lets out a deep sigh. She can't believe she has to deal with this petty work. Black Dahlia believe it was time best way to get Lilith's attention strictly. Then, Black Dahlia quickly grabs Lilith's chin.
"Look at me, darling… Do you think I have the time to babysit an ignorant woman from a broken family?" asked Black Dahlia. "I'm here to do the simplest job. It's to pick up an unhinged woman who can't even tell what's right or wrong. I know you've been having a bad time since these people showed up. But why the rush though? Eventually, you'll get what you desire in one way or another. So… Are you gonna listen or cry more?"
"Damn… That was cold and brutal," said the Mysterious man.
Black Dahlia let go of Lilith's chin. Lilith was upset that Black Dahlia is treating her disrespectfully. Lilith didn't even argue because she knows that they were sent here by Emperor Belos to escort her back to back to the castle. She didn't want to keep Emperor Belos waiting.
"This isn't over. Your days of running will be over soon," said Lilith.
"That's what I like to hear… Also, don't disappoint us again, Lilith. It won't be my fault that Belos decides to get rid of you," said Black Dahlia. "Oh, I can't see how this plays out."
Lilith, Black Dahlia, and the Mysterious young man leave.
"Okay scary masked people," said Spider-Man/Miles.
Ganke "Yeah, do you know who those two were, Eda?" asked Ganke.
"No. That was the second time I met that guy. As for this Black Dahlia chick, this is my first time seeing her." answered Eda.
"Yeah. The other guy said she's a top enforcer for this Medici family," said Ganke. "We should keep that in mind about the next time we see her."
"This is my first time hearing that name. It sounds… Ominous about it. I don't know why but it feels wrong." said Luz worryingly.
"Look, we'll worry about that later because we don't want any more attention from here. Come on kids let's back home," said Eda as she and Luz went on the staff and flew to their destination. Spider-Man/Miles grabs Ganke and follows them to the Owl house.
"Dude! That. Was. Insane! You fought a witch. A freaking witch! I never thought that was gonna happen," said Ganke happily.
"Yeah. I can't believe I did that. Honestly, I thought I was gonna supervillains and thugs most of the time. Didn't think I was gonna fight a witch," said Spider-Man/Miles.
"Oh boy! Kid. Wait until Spidey and the others hear this. Hey, everyone!" said Eda as she calls mostly everyone's attention.
"What is it, Eda?" asked Carolina.
"Who's the kid wearing a Spider-Man suit?" asked Washington.
"Well, he's Spider-Man. He's a friend of Spider-Man," answered Eda. "By the way, where is the rest of the Vault Hunter guys?"
"Some are exploring the lands. Zer0 insisted they should explore so they find any challenges or any loot," said Brick.
"Okay. At least they're enjoying their time here at the Boiling Isles. Ah, there you are Spidey," said Eda.
"Hey Eda, what is it?" asked Spider-Man/Peter. However, he sees Miles and Ganke. He is shocked to see these two here in the Boiling Isles.
"Spider-Man!" Spider-Man/Miles relievedly.
"M-Spider-Man?! What are you doing here?!" asked Spider-Man/Peter.
"It's a long story. But in a shorter context, we were looking everywhere for you, but a portal took us here. But I'm just glad you're safe," answered Spider-Man/Miles.
"Spider-Man and I were trying to find you back in NYC. Things have been a little complicated since most criminals took the advantage of your absence," said Ganke.
"Do you know these kids, Spider-Man?" asked Sarge.
"Yeah, everyone this is Spider-Man. My student and this is his friend, Ganke," answered Spider-Man/Peter.
"You have a student?!" said Delsin. "Wait, isn't that the other Spider-Man?"
"Wait a minute! Oh yeah! There's more than one Spider-Man. What was his name?" asked Futaba as she was remembering his name. She easily remembered his name. "Oh, right. Miles Morales."
Spider-Man/Miles and Ganke are shocked to hear that from Futaba. Knowing the secret identity of Spider-Man/Miles.
"Wait. For real? The young Spider-Man?!" said Ryuji surprised to see Spider-Man/Miles.
"How do you know my name?" asked Spider-Man/Miles.
"It's best to explain in a shorter explanation. Basically, in different universes, you exist as fictional characters in comic books, games, or films. But if you have more questions, let me know and we can talk about it, later," answered Futaba.
"Wow. Wow… That's a lot to take," said Ganke.
"Yeah, you're not the only one who said that," said Futaba.
"Never mind the multi shenanigans. Guys! You're not gonna believe what just happened earlier. But the kid fought my sister and he won," said Eda.
Everyone was surprised to learn that Spider-Man/Miles was able to overcome the encounter with the Leader of the Emperor's Coven, Lilith.
"Uhhh… Yeah, about that, Lilith chained up Luz. Trying to capture us. I had to do something and there is no way I'm not gonna listen to Lilith. I had no choice. I know I'm in big trouble but I'm not gonna let someone threaten anyone else just to take me down." said Spider-Man/Miles.
"I know that was reckless of you. But I'm glad you stand up against Lilith. To be honest, Lilith has been desperate to make things right for Emperor Belos," said Spider-Man/Peter.
"Hey, Miles. It's okay, you saved me from Lilith. So, thank you." said Luz.
"Of course. I did my best to help out after all," said Spider-Man/Miles.
"She's right... You protected Luz. If I was there, I would've done the same thing. But man, I can't believe she tried that shit, especially to a kid. What an asshole," said Ryuji upsettingly.
"Yeah, you're right. Thank you. So, Spider-Man, are these your new friends?" asked Spider-Man/Miles.
"Yeah, we have a lot of catching up to do. Plus introducing yourself to these guys," answered Spider-Man/Peter.
"Oh boy. This might take a lot," said Spider-Man/Miles. "Because… whoa…"
Spider-Man/Miles and Ganke see all the heroes. Meeting different people from across the Multiverse.
Time Passes…
A few hours later. Miles and Ganke meet Delsin, Kat, Reds and Blues, the Phantom Thieves, Mario, Link, Zelda, Kirby, Lilith, Athena, Brick, Tiny Tina, Lilith, Sora, and the others. Learning about the Owl House and learn other information about the Boiling Isles.
"That's a lot of names to remember. Once again, nice to meet you guys," said Spider-Man/Miles.
"We'll get used to it. Eventually," said Ganke.
"Luz, is it okay if they can sleep in your room?" asked Spider-Man/Peter.
"Sure, it will be nice to have more roommates," answered Luz. "I think they're gonna like it."
"Eda, do you mind?" asked Spider-Man/Peter.
"Yeah, sure," answered Eda. "Just make sure to watch over those two. Okay? I already have hands full with Luz."
"Ok, it is settled. Miles, Ganke. Luz will take you inside the Owl House to show you the room you guys will be sharing. Miles, Ganke you should relax for the day. Everyone in the Boiling Isles is pretty freaked out after what happened between you and Lilith," said Spider-Man/Peter.
"Yeah, you're probably right," said Spider-Man/Miles.
"Come on you too. Let's head inside," said Luz.
"Wow. Things just got a whole lot more interesting. Come on Miles," said Ganke.
"Okay," said Spider-Man/Miles as he and Ganke followed Luz and headed inside the Owl house.
Eda wonders about Miles' age considering he looks so young. So, she asks Peter about Miles' age.
"How old is he anyways?" asked Eda. "Because it looks like he hasn't reached his adulthood yet."
"He's 17," answered Spider-Man/Peter.
"Whoa… That's pretty young for a kid… By the way, You mention you got your powers when you were a teenager." said Eda. "What made you decide to teach him about being Spider-Man?"
"Well to answer your question he got by a spider and he began changing. I remember Mary Jane mention of Norman experimenting on spiders. I guess one of the spiders must've latched on Mary Jane right before she left the experimentation room. Yeah, he reminded me of the times when I was younger. Miles has a good heart and I trust him he can do things on his own as Spider-Man." answered Spider-Man/Peter.
"You know, you're a good teacher. By the way looks of it, you taught him everything he needs to know to do the job right," said Eda. "Hopefully he and Luz will get along."
"Same thing to you. I have a good feeling they'll get along just fine. Also, I wanted to ask you something. Have you got the chance to teach Luz any new spells?" asked Spider-Man/Peter.
Eda's eyes widened in shock and slowing was getting nervous to answer Spid
"Uhhhh." Eda didn't give Spider-Man/Peter a straight answer.
"I take back what I said," said Spider-Man/Peter.
"Dang it… Okay! I will. Soon. I just need time to figure that out," said Eda. "The thing is I can cast spells normally but as for Luz. She's a different story, she figured the light spell by drawing a glyph."
"Now you mention it. Yeah, it does seem complicated. To be honest, I thought it was a common thing. But during my time here in the Boiling Isles, I haven't seen a single use of glyphs to cast spells," said Spider-Man/Peter.
"Ya see? Look, I'm trying to figure that out and I'm giving her everything I know so far. I'm taking my time with this because I know she gets a bit excited about learning magic. I got this, okay?" said Eda.
"I hope so because Luz needs to be prepared for the future. All of us do because time isn't stopping," said Spider-Man/Peter.
"We'll discuss that later. But I wanted to talk to you guys about something important. We saw another lackey working Belos." said Eda.
"What? Who is it this time?" asked Spider-Man/Peter.
"I'm not sure. I couldn't tell because she was wearing a mask but obviously she was new in town. But Lily called her Black Dahlia. Met any named Black Dahlia before?" asked Eda.
"Black Dahlia? No, this is my first time hearing that name. But what do know about her so far?" asked Spider-Man/Peter.
"Lilith and her new brat mention she's some enforcer with this Medici family," answered Eda. "All I know she's looks like a tough cookie to break."
"Oh boy… First Handsome Jack, now Black Dahlia… Things are slowly getting complicated," said Spider-Man/Peter exhaustingly.
It sure is but we can handle it. I dealt worse," said Eda confidently.
"Heh… I like the confidence there. You're right. We have to be prepared for anything." said Spider-Man/Peter.
