Are you okay?" Izuku asked Kristál

"I'll be fine." Kristál said. "Just get me down before I ruin the upholstery."

"Help! I can't breathe!" Pain said.

'Hurry!" Panic said.

"Get us out!" Pain said.

"We're suffocating!" Pain said.

"Somebody call IX-I-I!" Panic said.

"Easy, fellas. You'll be all right." Deku said, in his hero uniform.

"We can't last much longer!" Pain said.

"Get us out before we get crushed!" Panic said.

Deku lifted the boulder and let them out.

"How you boys doin'?" Deku said.

"We're okay now." Pain said.

"Jeepers, mister. You're really strong." Panic said.

"Well, just try to be a little more careful next time, okay, kids?" Deku said.

"We sure will." Pain said.

They went to Hades and transformed back.

"Stirring performance, boys." Hades said. "I was really moved."

""Jeepers, mister"?" Pain said.

"I was going for innocence." Panic said.

"And, hey, two thumbs way, way up for our leading lady." Hades said. "What a dish. What a doll."

"Get outta there, ya big lug, while ya still can." Kristál said.

Deku ran over to Aizawa.

"Aizawa, I-I did great." Deku said. "They even applauded. Sort of."

"Huh! I hate to burst your bubble, kid...but that ain't applause." Aizawa said.

A huge Nemean Lion came out of the cave.

"A-A-a-Aizawa? What do you call that thing?" Deku said.

"Two words: am-scray!" Aizawa said.

"Let's get ready to rumble!" Hades said up on his ledge.

Deku balled his fists. This was what being a hero was all about! He had to protect them! He had to protect—he looked at Kristál—her.

The lion came at him, roars shaking the mountain. Deku punched it over and over until it fell over. The crowd cheered!

"All right! You're bad! Okay!" Aizawa said as Deku cut off the heads.

"See, Aizawa? That... That wasn't so hard." Deku said, falling over.

"Kid, kid, kid. How many sensei's do you see?" Aizawa said.

"Six?" Deku said.

"Eh, close enough." Aizawa said. "Let's get you cleaned up."

"Guys, guys, relax. It's only halftime." Hades said.

"That doesn't sound good." Aizawa said as the monster started to get up. "Definitely not good!"

Deku tried smashing it; but it's hide was too thick..

"Will you forget the head-smashing thing?" Aizawa said.

"Aizawa, I don't think we covered this one in basic training!" Deku said, smashing over and over, but it kept coming.

Deku was on his last legs. He stumbled to his feet; and knocked the Greek fire over that was standing at the edge of the mountain as a trail marker. The flames consumed everything in their path. Deku ran and disappeared with the lion into the smoke.

"My favorite part of the game: sudden death." Hades said.

"Oh. There goes another one. Just like Achilles." Aizawa said.

"Game...set, match." Hades said.

Deku was inside the burning fire. It was hot and he couldn't breathe. Was this how he was gonna die? Was this the end of his Hero Arc?!

Deku's eyes glowed green. No! He was gonna be a hero, he was gonna join Zeus on Mt Olympus, and no f-ing lion was gonna stop him!

Deku went beyond his limits and smashed through the burning lion victoriously, killing it.

"Aizawa, you gotta admit." Deku said through scorched lips. "That was pretty heroic."

"Ya did it, kid! Ya did it! Ya won by a landslide!" Deku said.

Hades was in flames. Kristál looked on miserably, knowing Deku's trials had just begun.
