Disclaimer: I do not own either RWBY or Chaotic.
At the Chaotic Pub Ruby and Jekyll are watching a match when suddenly they heard a scream.
"Oh my goodness!" someone screamed out.
They both turned to see a girl with short curly orange hair and green eyes holding a blue scanner at the port court looking confused.
Jekyll chuckled. "Looks like there's another new girl in Chaotic." He said as he took a drink of his soda.
"I remember when I was a newbie." Ruby said with a face of reminiscing. "I was so freaked out too back then, good times.
"...Ruby, you've only been here for less than a month." Jekyll deadpanned.
"Hey you know what?" Ruby said changing the subject. "I'm gonna go help her out, get in the know of things." she said as she got up.
"You do that, I'm gonna stay here and watch. I'll also keep an eye in case a certain slime ball tries something." Jekyll said and Ruby nodded, knowing fully well who the 'slime ball' is.
"Excuse me." Ruby said as she walked up to the girl, causing her to jump.
"Ah!" The girl yelped as she turned around.
"Let me guess, you play Chaotic and suddenly got a code online you entered on your scanner when you appeared here." Ruby said.
"Y-Yes, actually." The girl said shocked. "How did you know?"
"Same thing happened to me, well, all of us really." Ruby said in a cheery tone.
A robot then came up to the both of them.
"Player AndroidGirl, your match begins in 15 minutes at the Imthor Drome." The drone informed.
"Match?" The girl said as she tilted her head curiously.
"Fifteen munites huh, that gives me some time to tell the basics of how things work here." Ruby said before turning to the robot. "I'll help her out, go back to whatever it was you were doing." Ruby dismissed the drone.
"Allow me to help you otu and tell how things work, I'm Ruby." Ruby greeted as she extended her hand.
"Salutations, my name is Penny." The girl introduced herself.
15 minutes later...
Penny entered the Imthor drome and saw a teenage girl with dark skin and platinum blonde hair, Arslan Altan.
"AndroidGirl, GoldenLion, please place your scanners."
Penny placed her scanner on the stand that appeared and was amazed by the screen popping up out of nowhere.
Back in hub Ruby and Jekyll were watching the match on screen.
"I'm sure she's gonna do great." Ruby optimistically said.
"Don't be so sure, not everyone could manage being a creature as well as you did." Jekyll said.
Back in the drome with Penny she was thinking of what to do when suddenly a notification rang out on her scanner. She answered it to see Ruby on the screen calling her.
"Penny can you hear me?" Ruby asked.
"Yes." Penny answered.
"Now to pick your cards, you have to scroll through them using the wheel on the screen. Blue is creature cards, green is locations, white is battlegear and purple is mugic." Ruby informed. Penny nodded and began to scroll through her deck to choose her creatures.
Ruby then hanged up on Penny as Penny then chose her team and locked in their decks.
Penny had chosen Aivenna, OverWorld Lieutenant and on Arslan's team was Tangath Toborn.
"Since this is AndroidGirl's first match, she will be the attacker. Please spin your location randomizer."
Penny spun the location randomizer.
"The location will be... Kiru City. Please choose your attacking and target creatures."
Touching the screen Penny declared her attack. "Aivenna attacks Tangath toborn."
She was then transformed into a red skinned woman with long blue hair that has two long braids in the back, she is wearing silver armor. Arslan was then transformed into a humanoid lion.
"What?!" Aivenna exclaimed upon seeing her tansformation.
Tangath only smirked as he got into a battle stance.
"Let's get chaotic!" He exclaimed.
Walking through a city Aivenna was still looking at her body in shock.
"I can't believe I'm actually Aivenna." She stated.
"Well you better start believing soon!" A voice said as Tangath Toborn appeared behind her.
"Inferno Claws!" Tangath fired a barrage of small flames from his fingertips the sent Aivenna flying through a door of a building. Leaping in after her Tangath sees that they have entered a tavern.
"Flame Orb!" Tangath threw a fire ball at Aivenna.
Aivenna reacted quickly and jumped out of the way. She then threw her arm out and fired an Emberswarm which surrounded Tangath before he materialized a sword in his hands, the Sword of Khy'at. he then used the sword to swat away the embers.
The sword then lit on fire and Tangath pointed it at Aivenna to launch another attack but was hit and sent flying out the building and back onto the street.
Groaning, Tangath grabbed his head as slowly got up and saw Aivenna wearing the Gauntlets of Might.
Grabbing his sword Tangath charged at Aivenna and swung her but hse took a step back and avoided it before throwing another punch at Tangath who shifted to the side and avoided it. Tangath then slashed at her again and hit her side.
As Aivenna took a step back from the attack Tangath took the opportunity to go for an overhead swing but using her Gauntlets of Might Aivenna managed to catch it and threw it to the side. She then raised her hands and cupped them together to perform her own overhead strike and slammed Tangath to the ground.
Growling, Tangath swept Aivenna of her feet and leapt away to grab his sword.
Getting up, Aivenn threw her arm out.
"Fireram!" She unleashed a large blast of fire in the shape of a ram's head. Tangath used his sword to block the attack but was still pushed back several feet.
"Lavalanche!" Tangath countered with a blast of lava which Aivenna rolled out of the way for.
She then fired a Flame Orb at Tangath who jumped out of the way and off a wall to unleash an Emberswarm which hit Aivenna and knocked her back.
"Song of Resurgence!" She called out as music played and she got back up to her feet.
She then grabbed a chunk of the ground and threw at Tangath who sliced it in half.
Aivenna then used an Iron Balls attack to launch Tangath into a wall before using a Power Pulse to code him.
"The winner is AndroidGirl."
Aivenna cheered as she was reverted back to Penny.
Walking out of the drome and back into the pub she was greeted by Ruby.
"Penny! You did great!" Ruby complimented.
"Thank you!" Penny said.
"It probably helped that you chose a more humanoid creature." Jekyll said as he walked up to them and then ruby slapped him the shoulder.
"Ow!" Jekyl said as he grabbed his shoulder. "What? It's true. When I had my first match I chose Borth-Majar, you try being in what's practically two different bodies at once."
As they walked back to the table Penny and Jekyll started explaining to Penny the basics of Chaotic and how it works.
A/N: I'm planning on putting in cameos of characters from other media and maybe make them somewhat recurring characters.
I also recently started playing chaotic online on Chaotic Recode, it's a great place to play it, even better than . If you ever wanted to play Chaotic I highly suggest you try this site.
Also, I'm going to have a 'small' rant so feel free to skip if you don't want to hear it.
(SECONDARY RANT WARNING!)
I just want to say how much I HATE the Ulmquad/Na-Inna/Fluidmorpher combo. Seriously, a creature who can spend mugic counters to drain 10 energy from his enemy and heal 30 energy to himself with no limit other than as long as he has mugic counters to spend plus a creature who can gain unlimited mugic counters so long as you deal damage with waters attacks PLUS a creature who can take a counter from said unlimited pool and give it to Ulmquad, Ulmquad can basically drain 30 energy from the enemy and give it to himself at once! and that's not counting whatever other battlegear they have to give more mugic counters. Seriously, which idiot thought this combo would be okay? And why hasn't anyone banned either Ulmquad OR Na-Inna (the base form at least)?! This combo is not okay people, it's basically saying you don't want to let your opponent play or have fun!
And on the topic of annoying creatures who aren't banned, why is Ulmar, Perithon Racer allowed? he can basically deal 10 damage every turn by expending his fire element, which does nothing if he isn't battling, WHICH HE HARDLY EVER IS! I've constantly seen people put 2 of him in the back so they can basically cast a free canon of casualty every round by expending their fire elements. And every time you try to get rid of them the enemy always has some sort of backup like Carnivore's Keening and the Phoenix Belt to make sure they survive and you don't.
And if you try places like Dranakis Threshold so they can't use their abilities, tough s**t cause they've banned it! So now one of the few counters to this bulls**t is banned and you need either a Challor to avoid getting hit by these abilities, but those things on frontline creatures are hardly reliable half the time cause the enemy usually has something up their sleeves to disable it or something else.
And yet people do nothing about it other than either get abused by it OR ABUSE IT THEMSELVES! (I am the former.)
And they also need to put a limit to certain types of creatures, a team full of warbeasts and conjurors should not be allowed, especially if theres a creature like Malvadine to defend the conjurors, you should only be allowed 1 war beast and 1, maybe 2, conjurors. Combine that with mugic like Melody of Mirage and Song of Shelter so even if you manage to get some powerful attack or mugic to take them down, you f**king can't. I once had to deal with a guy using Glost and nothing but conjurors.
Okay I think I got that out of my system now. If for some reason you're still reading, thank for hearing out my rant and please don't be the player to abuse these things. Thanks for reading and for your support!
