-Tourney-

Lucas lost the tournament. He felt miserable. If only Ness was here to cheer him up. He tried hanging out with Villager, but for some reason he won't let anyone in. He only came out for the tournament and he lost in round 1. Lucas was worried about him. Ever since the whole Kirby situation happened, he's done nothing but shut himself in. If only Ness was here. He would know what to do.

Unfortunately something happened to Ness. He's been looking for him, but he didn't have any luck. He started to feel discouraged. Where could he be? Everyone is blaming it on Kirby, but she would never do that. She's the victim too! He tried telling the others that the woman with pink hair is Kirby, but no one took him seriously. Nobody ever does.

Round 4 was about to start. As much as he wanted to watch it, he decided to look for Ness instead. He went to the library since Ness loves that place. He's already checked here 12 times, but who knows maybe he might pop up. He scanned the area and saw Sonic. What is he doing here? He's never seen the blue blur here. He walked up to him.

"Sonic?" Lucas questioned.

"Oh hey, you."

"What're you doing here?"

"Reading."

"You never read."

"I uh, I wanted to find a new hobby. Running all day is tiring."

"You never get tired."

"Yes I do! I'm a living being, not a robot."

"I guess... Um, can I ask you a question?"

"Sure."

"Have you seen Ness?"

Sonic flinched when he heard Ness's name.

"Nope."

"Are you ok? You flinched."

"I'm worried about him too that's all."

"Um, ok?"

"Yeah, I'm sorry. I haven't seen him."

"It's ok."

Lucas thought Sonic's behavior was odd, but he decided to leave it. He's probably having an off day. He did lose the tournament early which never happens to him. He's not taking this early loss well. Lucas gets it. It's daunting. He also lost pretty early. Without Ness around, that's all he could think of during the fight. He wondered if Sonic's mind was also clouded.

-Tourney-

Today was the day of round 4. There are 6 rounds in total. If Kirby can win two more rounds, that would be amazing! However, she had a feeling she won't be getting lucky this round. Everyone whispered in their seats. She heard her name a lot. They must be talking about her. What if they don't think she's the real Kirby after all? Are they going to attack her after the tournament? She couldn't help but start to internally panic.

"Hey, are you excited?" Little Mac interrupted her train of thought.

"No."

"It'll be alright. Even if you lose, you'll still be my number one."

"Thank you. It's not about losing though. What if the others still think I'm the imposter?"

"Then they're stupid."

"It doesn't matter if they're dumb or not. They might attack me after this."

"I won't let that happen."

"Thanks, but… The two of us can't fight them off."

"I… I know, but don't worry, you've given enough proof."

"I guess."

"Hey, don't worry about that now. Just focus on the tournament. You'll do great!"

Little Mac is so kind, but Kirby still felt anxious. She didn't have a lot of allies. Mario is good with words. He's got good credibility. The others might still choose him over her. If only Paluntena was here. Then she could prove her innocence.

The announcer called out her name. Ok here we go. She needs to focus on the competition. She stepped into the teleporter and was transported into the arena. Her foe was Princess Peach. Great. It'll be ok. If Kirby wins or not, she still needs to tell Peach about what happened. After this fight, it will be the perfect chance to catch up to her and tell her everything. Hopefully Peach will forgive. She's nice right? She'll forgive for sure.

"I'm not going to go easy," Peach flashed her innocent smile.

"That goes the same for me," Kirby smiled back.

3, 2, 1, GO! Peach went from looking like a cinnamon roll to serious in half a second. She pulled a turnip from the ground and threw it straight at Kirby's face. Kirby ducked, but she's taller than she used to be. The turnip still connected to her face. Peach then jumped in the air and levitated above her. She then kicked Kirby's face many times with her feet. Those heels aren't for show. They really hurt. After Peach's multi-air kick was over, Kirby grabbed her by the leg and slammed her on the floor. Peach quickly got up. Kirby used this chance to punch her, but the princess used her shield. She then used her hip blast on Kirby, which caused her to fly at the end of the stage.

Still hanging on, Kirby got up, but unfortunately Peach ran straight up to her. She grabbed her turnip once again and used her signature Peach turnip combo. Kirby didn't have a chance of getting back up, Peach was relentless. Fortunately Kirby was able to grab the 4th turnip strike from her. Peach widened her eyes in shock as Kirby jumped on Peach's head, threw the turnip down onto her and safely got back on the stage.

Peach got back on the stage using her parasol. Kirby swung her arm for a punch, but Peach avoided the attack and slapped her across the face. She then used more sick combos causing Kirby to almost fall off the stage. Luckily she grabbed the ledge in time. Peach was running after her, and slapped her once again as Kirby got back on the stage.

Peach was now ledge guarding. The fight became one-sided. Kirby would fly off the stage and barely get back on, just to be attacked by Peach once again. This happened for a bit. Peach got frustrated by the amount of times Kirby kept coming back. They're friends, but Peach had one goal and that was to win. She'll feed Kirby cake once she beats her.

Kirby air dodged Peach's last attack. She was able to make it back on stage. Her feet felt like jelly at this point. Peach grabbed Kirby and continuously punched her in the face. She kept going until Kirby managed to block her face. Hiding behind her gloves, huh? No matter, Peach started aiming for her stomach instead. However, Kirby countered her attack, and punched her right on the jaw.

Peach took a step back. She looked over at her with rage in her eyes, but then her eyes widened as she saw a different Kirby. Kirby wiped the blood off her face. Her whole outfit changed. She wore a cute pink boxer outfit, instead of sweatpants, she now wore black yoga shorts and her tank top changed to a different pink. She now wore a cute high ponytail and the color of her gloves changed to pink as well. What happened? Final Smashes are banned!

Kirby gave Peach a cocky smile. Taunting her, huh? Peach pulled a turnip from the ground. It's Peach's ultimate combo time. Kirby won't be able to get back from this. It's time to finish this fight!

Peach charged after Kirby and threw her turnip at her, but Kirby dodged swiftly. Then she punched Peach in the throat really hard. This didn't feel like her other punches. This one was incredibly powerful. It.. it hurt like hell. Peach couldn't breathe. She kneeled on the floor putting her hands on her throat. All that came out from her mouth were short wheezes. Kirby used this chance to beat the living shit out of Peach. She dragged Peach by the hair to the other end of the stage. Peach reached for her hair to pull it down, but as soon as she tried, Kirby simply dropped Peach off the stage. Before Peach could use her recovery, Kirby hopped off the stage and used her feet to spike her. Peach fell straight down and Kirby won the match.

After the match Kirby got teleported back to the lobby. Little Mac went over to her and congratulated her. They hugged. Peach was transported to the lobby shortly after. Kirby went up to her and pulled out her hand for a handshake. However, Peach was shaking.

"Are you ok?" Kirby asked.

"Y-you're a monster!" She slapped Kirby's hand away.

"Peach!" Kirby called out.

Peach continued to walk away. No matter because Kirby grabbed her arm, which caused the Princess to turn around and face her. Peach had bruises on her face and a big one on her throat. This caused Kirby to cringe. It looked so painful. Did she do that? After she kissed her gloves and transformed into Boxing Kirby, everything went red. It felt like that one time when she fought Dark Pit. Huh, did she always used to do that? She couldn't help but feel guilty.

"What do you want?" Peach looked scared.

"I need to talk to you."

"N-no! Stay away from me!"

"Peach…"

Peach began running away. Kirby thought of chasing her, but she decided not to. Kirby grabbed Peach by the air and dragged her causing the rocks to scrape into her legs. Kirby realized how terrifying that is. No one ever did that during smash fights besides Ridley. Was she like Ridley? A monster?! Was she always a monster? The thought plagued her mind. How will she gain Peach's trust? She needs to tell her what Mario did. If only she wasn't so brutal during the match. She took it too far once again. Kirby frowned and went back to the lobby. Monster, huh?

-The Hero Of Time-

Zelda watched the whole thing. She started shaking. How is Kirby that strong? That whole scene was insane! If she paired up with Kirby, she needs to be ready. Hmm, she thought of maybe talking to the pinkette. Make her feel bad. What she did to Peach was brutal. Yes, that might just work.

Zelda tapped on Link's shoulder. "Link, I want you to do something for me."

"Sure."

Little Mac walked Kirby to her room. They kissed goodbye and the happy boxer skipped back to his room. This was Link's chance. He waited until the boxer was gone from sight. Link then knocked on Kirby's door. Zelda made sure to keep an eye on him. She watched as Kirby opened the door and awkwardly let Link inside. Link better not screw this up.

Link uncomfortably sat on one of the star cushion pillows in front of the coffee table. Kirby sat down across from him. The awkward tension filled the room. It was silent for a brief moment until Link broke the silence.

"Kirby I… I saw what you did to Peach today," Link frowned.

"I'm sorry."

"That's not ok."

"I know."

Link hated saying this to Kirby. He saw the guilt on her face. He had to keep going though, or who knows what Zelda is going to do to herself. It hurt every bit to muster the courage to guilt Kirby.

"I think you should forfeit the next match," Link bit his tongue. This is disgusting.

"I know."

"W-wait, seriously?"

"Yeah, I tried to talk to Peach after the match. She looked so scared when she saw me. She called me a monster."

"A monster?"

"That's what I am. I've always been like this. It's just back then I was forced to hold back because of The Hands."

"You're not a monster."

"I went too far."

Link wanted to tell her that she has done nothing wrong. She's simply better than everyone else. Even without her OP form, she's still proven to be the top. He wanted to tell her to keep going and to see how far she can get, but Zelda… If Zelda loses against Kirby, who knows what she'll do.

"I'm sorry, Kirby. I think-

"I already know, Link. I already planned on losing my next match."

Link felt like crying when she said that. He didn't even need to guilt her into losing. Peach calling her a monster was more than enough. She looked depressed. He wanted to comfort her like he used to. He wanted to be there for her. He wanted to kiss her and tell her that he'll always see her as a beautiful person and not a monster. He couldn't stand seeing her like this. It was too much! He.. He…

"Kirby I…" Link grabbed Kirby into a big hug. Tears were coming off of his face. He couldn't help but sob as Kirby hugged him back. He missed this. Just the two of them against the world. Two individuals loving each other genuinely. His true lover. His only lover.

"There, there," Kirby patted his back.

"I can't… I… I miss you."

"I miss you too."

"You do?"

"Of course! You're important to me."

"But Little Mac…"

"He's important to me too. He's my boyfriend after all. I do miss you though. You're my best friend, and you helped me a lot throughout this whole mess."

"Kirby I… I want to be your boyfriend."

"Link…"

"I miss you. W-we're so perfect for each other."

"Link.. We can't."

"Please Kirby, just give me another chance."

"I'm sorry, but-

"Please! I didn't want to guilt you. She's making me do awful things! I.. I can't stand it anymore. I want to be with you."

"Zelda will kill herself. You know this. We can't be a thing."

"W-we can date secretly."

"No."

"We can! I know we're perfect for each other. You feel it too! I know you do!"

"We can't. It's wrong."

"Wrong? How can you say that?!"

"I'm with someone else."

"Little Mac? Really? He's using you."

"How?"

"He acts all nice, but he only wants your body."

"How do you know?"

"He's done this with Samus."

"But he hasn't done anything to push my boundaries."

"Not yet, but he will. You gotta trust me. Remember I am the one that taught you all about human communication. Trust me when I say he's using you."

Kirby couldn't believe what she was hearing. Link did teach her everything she knows. He's smart when it comes to communication. How could she ever doubt him? What if Little Mac is using her? It didn't seem so likely. He's nice and he's never done anything that made her uncomfortable yet. She knows that Link cares deeply for her. He's looking out for her, which is nice of him, but… something about his guidance now seems off. However, he looks confident. He seems to know what he's talking about. He also knows more about Little Mac than her. Should she listen to him? Should she break up with Little Mac before she gets hurt?
