Kirby was at the food court eating some ramen. She was by herself, but someone decided to join her. It was Simon. She remembered him from Kawasaki's restaurant.

"Hey, Simon," She greeted.

"Kirby I uh, I wanted to ask you somethin'."

"Sure."

"I uh, well I was wondering if you were still dating Little Mac."

"I am."

"Aww."

"Why?"

"I uh, well I was wondering if we could date."

"Sure I'd like a friend date."

"Yeah see, I was hoping it would be more than that."

"Oh… I'm so sorry."

"It's ok, I just uh, thought I'd still try."

There is an awkward tension now. Simon seemed bummed out, but what can she do? She already has someone special. Maybe there's something she can say that could possibly cheer him up.

"Well uh, we can still hang out."

"I'd like that."

"When do you want to?"

"Anytime you want."

"How about after I'm done eating? We can hang out somewhere. We could uh…"

"I'd like to go to an arcade."

"Perfect! I'll let Little Mac know after I eat."

"Ah, I see ok."

Kirby didn't have a phone, so after she ate her food the two went to Little Mac's room. She knocked and the boxer greeted her with open arms. He then glared at Simon. However, his glare was replaced with a smile when she explained that the two were going to hang out at the arcade as friends only. The boxer waved them off and told them to have a good time.

Simon and Kirby made their way to the smash arcade. It was huge and the neon lights were so pretty. The two bought credits and played lots of fun games. Simon tried winning a plushie for Kirby, but he sucked. She gave him a cocky look, cracked her knuckles, and pushed him aside. It was her turn! She failed a couple tries, but eventually she managed to win a Banjo and Kazooie plushie. His jaws dropped.

"H-how?! It was your fourth try!"

"I'm too good."

"No kiddin'."

"Here, I won it for you."

"What! Usually it's the man's job to win the girl the goodies."

"Haha! Just take it."

"I… Ok. Thank you."

Simon didn't want to admit it, but he liked being treated like this. Kirby is so kind. She's not like most girls that expect the guy to win everything. She's a perfect angel.

"You ok?" She asked.

"Y-yeah, I love it. Thanks!"

"Want another?"

"Haha sure!"

The two were at the arcade for hours. Kirby ended up winning Simon three plushies. The other two were a Pikachu and an Isabelle one. He promised her that he'll treasure them forever.

"Well, it's getting late. I can walk you back," Kirby offered.

"The girl walking the guy home? What's going on?"

"Is that not how it works?"

"Well not usually."

"Let me walk you. I'm pretty sure I'm stronger than you anyway haha!"

"Oh you've done it now! The two of us need to spare one day."

"You're on! But don't be surprised when I win."

"Who's to say you're gonna win."

"It's pretty obvious."

"Haha! Your cocky attitude knows no bounds."

"Oh come on, I'm not Sonic. I'm a sweetheart."

"Ha! A sweetheart with some sass!"

"Pssh lil ol' me?"

"Oh my god I love you."

"Hahaha! Thanks. Anyway let me walk you back. You're a fragile lady that needs to be protected."

"Alright my knight, lead the way."

Kirby walked Simon back to his room. He gave her a hug and kissed her hand. She became uncomfortable. Sure, he's being nice, but that was a bit uncalled for. She quickly snatched her hand back, but she continued to smile at him so he wouldn't feel upset. The two waved each other off and she went back to her room.

Simon jumped on his bed. Tonight was an amazing date. He's never had so much fun in his life. He… He needs to ask her out again. This needs to happen more. In fact, maybe the more they get closer then she'll realize that he's a better man than Little Mac. Yes, he needs to play the patient game. She'll soon realize that he's more fun to be around than the abusive boxer.

-Boxer In Love-

Mario asked Samus to stalk Kirby. So she did. It looks like Kirby is cheating on Little Mac with Simon, huh? She took a bunch of pictures on her phone. See this is why Little Mac shouldn't be with this slut. She's bad news. After she took enough pictures of the duo, she decided to head to Little Mac's place.

Samus knew that Little Mac wouldn't answer her, so she lockpicked the door open. He was in the middle of doing squats when she rushed in. He screamed and fell on his ass.

"S-Samus what the hell!" He stuttered.

"Little Mac I caught her red-handed!"

"What? Get out!"

"No! I told you she's a slut and I got proof."

"Get out."

Samus shoved her phone at his face. He pushed it away and saw pictures of Kirby at the arcade with Simon.

"See! I told you!" Samus cheered.

"Oh Samus."

"What? I told you. She's cheating."

"Get out."

"The pictures are all here!"

"I already knew she was with Simon."

"And you're ok with that?"

"Yeah, she asked for my permission. They wanted to hang out as friends."

"It seems to me that it was more than friends."

"Really because I don't see it. The pictures only show that they hung out as friends. The way she looks at him is not infatuation at all."

"H-how do you know? Look! She's smiling!"

"Oh my god, Samus get out."

"Little Mac! Can't you see that she's cheating on you?! How can you be this dumb?! Like seriously."

"Ya know, this is one of the reasons why I don't want to get back with you."

"Little Mac!"

"Come on, I'll walk you out."

Little Mac grabbed her arm and shoved her out. He was about to shut the door, but she put her arm there. He ended up smashing her arm and she let out a curling cry. Shit! He let her back in the room. He went straight for his bathroom and took out gauze and athletic tape. He sat her on his bed. He wrapped the athletic tape around her wrist with the gauze.

"I'm sorry," he said.

"Little Mac, what the hell!"

"I didn't mean it."

"Whatever."

"Look, I'm sorry, but you still have to leave."

"I wish… Nevermind."

"You wish what?"

"I wish things were back to the way it was."

"Samus, you know we can never be a thing again."

"You don't know the future."

"I don't, but I've made up my mind."

"We'll see about that."

"Samus…"

"Ok, I'll go."

Samus left the room. As she left and closed the door, her and Kirby locked eyes. Kirby had a disbelief look on her face. This made Samus smile.

"Oh hey, Kirby," She licked her lips.

"What were you doing in Little Mac's room?"

"Oh you know, just some private stuff."

"Huh?"

"You seem to not get it. Let's just say that Little Mac felt lonely while you were gone with your new boyfriend."

"Boyfriend?"

"Oops! I said too much. I'll be on my way now."

With that Samus left. Kirby felt an awful pain on her chest. What did those two do? They were alone in his room! Was Little Mac over her? Was it because she's been distant lately?

She wanted to open the door and ask Little Mac what's going on with Samus, but she didn't. She sadly walked back to her room. Her mind spiraled down into insecurities. Is Link right? Did Little Mac only want her for his gains? When he didn't get it, he went back to Samus. Perhaps maybe being in a relationship is not a good idea. At least not right now. She still doesn't know much about how it all works. She must've made a mistake for him to cheat on her. Man, she's not good at this at all.

Kirby started crying. She wished Metaknight was here to give her advice. She didn't know what to do. Seeing Samus leave his room only confirmed what Link has been warning Kirby about. Sure, she's not smart about this sort of thing, but she does know about betrayal and going behind someone's back. She needs to talk to Little Mac about it. The only problem is that, what if he lies? She wouldn't know. She should probably end things anyway, but a part of her wanted to believe that Samus lied. She wanted to believe that Little Mac and Samus were just friends hanging out like she did with Simon. Little Mac would tell her about the event though. Should she talk to Link about this? He's been acting unstable lately, so that's probably not a good idea.

-The Cave-

For some fucking reason, Luigi stayed with the four miserable cave mates. He had just shown the four his Luigi Jr. and this made him feel confident.

Luigi: "Thank you, guys."

Sonic: "Just being honest."

Ness: "Can we not?"

Sonic: "Bro talk is normal, bro."

Ness: "This whole thing isn't normal."

Luigi: "Well I appreciate you guys."

Ness: "Whatever, I'm going to bed."

Luigi: "Goodnight."

The five of them were about to sleep until they heard Mario running back toward the cave. Oh no, what is he doing here so late? He's probably here to grab Luigi. The green plumber shouldn't even be here. He has a bed! He has a girlfriend to be with! HE HAS FREEDOM! It pissed Ness off!

Mario: "Guys, I was on my way to grab-a Luigi, but I heard Ness's phone ring, and it wasn't your dad this time."

Ness: "My phone? Is it still alive? Wait, my dad has been calling?"

Mario: "Well I've been going through it, haha!"

Ness: "What the fuck!"

Sonic: "Oh shit! Who called?"

Mario: "This time it was-a Lucas."

Ness: "Lucas?"

Mario: "Yeah it's the first time he's called."

Sonic: "Wait, what has his dad been saying?"

Mario: "Oh, well uh, I've already listened to some of the voice mails. It's just his dad giving him money. Pretty boring."

Ness: "I want to hear!"

Mario: "Why?"

Ness: "Please! Pretty please!"

Gordon: "There he goes sucking up to him again."

Mario: "Hmm, only if you call me Master."

Ness: "W-what?"

Mario: "Do it, and I'll play the voicemails."

Ness: "No! That's creepy."

Mario: "Well I guess-

Ness: "Ok, fine! [M-master..."]

Mario: "What was that I couldn't hear you."

Ness: "Can you please play the voicemails? Master..."

Mario: "Well if you insist, slave."

Mario played the first voicemail.

Ness's dad: "Hey kiddo, how's it goin? Just checking up on you to see how's smash life. Anyway, I put $8,000 in your bank account. Ok, talk to you later."

End of voicemail

Mario played another.

Ness's dad: "We got lucky today! I put $40,000 in your bank account. Business is booming, son! Whoohoo!"

Mario skipped some and played the 5th one.

Ness's dad: "Hey uh, you haven't been answering my calls. I know you must be busy, I just uh, I wanted to say that I love you and I put $3000 in your account. Sorry it's short this time. Uh, Daddy's been getting into some hard times lately. Anyway I gotta go."

Mario played the next one.

Ness's dad: "Ness uh, Dad might have been getting into some legal issues. Sorry no money this time. Anyway I gotta go, bye."

Mario: "Is your dad ok?"

Sonic: "Dude, what did he mean by legal troubles?"

Ness: "I don't know! I'm hearing this for the first time like you guys."

Mario played the next one.

Ness's dad: "Hey Ness, uh, so this might be the last voicemail I'll send. I just want you to know-

Thug 1: "I THINK I HEARD HIM!"

*gunshot noises*

Ness's dad: "Yeah so, I uh, I transferred all my money into your account."

Thug 2: "HE MIGHT BE IN THIS ROOM!"

Thug 1: "BREAK IT DOWN!"

*THUD THUD*

*GUNSHOTS*

Ness's dad: "I love you so much, son. You're gonna do great things."

*CRASH*

Thug 1: "HE'S RIGHT THERE! GET HIM!"

Ness's dad: "YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE, PIGS!"

BEEP

Mario: "Holy shit! I-Is your dad dead?"

Ness: "Oh my god, dad!"

Sonic: "Dude, what the fuck!"

Gordon: "I think your dad was a drug dealer."

Ness: "No! He wouldn't do that."

Gordon: "How is he getting all that money?"

Ness: "I don't know. He runs a company I think."

Gordon: "You think?"

Ness: "I don't know! I've only seen him once in my life."

Sonic: "That's rough, buddy."

Mario: "Wait, I'm gonna go check his bank account."

Ness: "No, that's my money!"

Mario opens the chase app on Ness's phone. His jaws drop. He has no words.

Mario: "M-mama mia."

Sonic: "How much does he have?"

Kawasaki: "Probably over $20!"

Mario: "Ness, what did your dad do?"

Ness: "How much is it?"

Mario: "I… Hmm, well it doesn't matter. It's mine now."

Ness: "Figures."

Mario: "Anyway, back to why I originally came here."

Luigi: "Ness, I think your dad died."

Ness: "Thank you, Luigi."

Luigi: "You're welcome."

Sonic: "Dude, I'm so sorry that's gotta be-

Ness: "Ok! I get it! Can we stop talking about dead dad?!"

Mario: Anyway, so Lucas called you."

Kawasaki: "Right! What did your boyfriend want?"

Ness: "He's not my boyfriend."

Sonic: "Lies."

Ness: "Shut up."

Mario: "He sent you a text too."

Ness: "What did he say?"

Mario reads to text message out loud.

Lucas: "I've been looking for you. I have a feeling that you're hiding from someone. Whatever it is, you can tell me anything. I know you're probably doing this because you don't want to burden anyone else but you're my everything. You can trust me."

Lucas: "Oops I meant to say you're my best friend. Sorry if that sounded weird."

Everyone except Ness: "OOOOOOOO."

Ness: "Guys! Stop! He's obviously worried about me."

Mario: "Should I message him?"

Ness: "NO!"

Sonic and Gordon: "Yes!"

Mario: "What should I say?"

Ness: "Nothing!"

Kawasaki: "Say that Ness loves him!"

Ness: "Don't you dare."

Mario: "Oh I should, should I? Ok, I'm doing it."

Ness: "NO!"

Mario: "Alright I sent it."

Sonic: "Read what you said."

Ness: "You're right I am in hiding. Something bad is happening. Also... Thank you for looking for me. I don't deserve youu. [Inserts blush emoji]"

Ness: "FUCK! NO, WHY?!"

Sonic: "OH SHIT DUDE!"

Gordon: "Ok now I'm invested."

Kawasaki: "I thought you were going to sleep."

Gordon: "Not anymore."

Mario: "Oh shit! Guys he's typing!"

Sonic: "What's he saying?!"

Ness: "This can't be happening."

Mario: "Oh, he stopped typing. Oh wait, he's typing again!"

Ness: "No..."

Mario: "Oh shit! He texted here lemme read it."

Lucas: "Where are you? Can I meet meet up with you? Also what do you mean by you don't deserve me? And why did you type the blush emoji?"

Ness: "Mario don't you dare."

Mario: "Oh but I will."

Ness: "I... I have a big secret to tell. But I'm not sure you'll look at me the same way."

Lucas: "A secret?"

Ness: "Yeah it's about my feelings. I want to talk to you in person. Can you meet me at the garden?"

Lucas: "Of course! What time?"

Sonic: "Oh shit! He's down bad."

Gordon: "Wow, I definitely saw this coming."

Kawasaki: "Congratz on the new couple."

Ness: "We're not a couple! Also Mario what the fuck!"

Mario: "Well actually, this runs in my favor."

Ness: "Mario, don't you dare!"

Mario: "Hahahaha! Oh this is perfect."

Ness: "Don't you dare touch him!"

Mario: "What're you gonna do about it, fuckboy?"

Ness: "Fuckboy?"

Mario: "Lucas was at the party, so brainwashing him into being my ally will work in my favor."

Ness: "I swear to god if you-

Mario: "Oh shut up, Ness. You can't do shit. Now if you'll all excuse me, I have a romantic loser to see."

Ness: "I'LL KILL YOU!"

Mario laughs and leaves the cave. Luigi follows after him.

Sonic: "Damn."

Gordon: "So, you still planning on sucking up to him."

Ness: "No. I'll get out of here another way."

Sonic: "Told ya so."

Ness: "Not now, Sonic. I need to think."
