Consider this chapter or story A/U or A/H regarding the subject of divorce. I know a divorce takes longer than two weeks to go through. However, for storyline purposes, Elizabeth and Franco's divorce will be finalized within two weeks to fit my story needs.

Chapter 41

***Later That Day***

(Monica took the boys out for supper as she wanted to spend some time with them. This gave Elizabeth and Jason time to meet with Diane Miller. Diane arrived at Elizabeth's house. After getting settled on the couch, Diane spoke)

Diane: "Has Franco signed the divorce papers?"

Liz: (nods) "Yes, he did." (snorts) "He said things were going so fast. In the end, though, he was happy for me and Jason."

Diane: (chuckles dryly) "I doubt he's truly happy for you. Because once the divorce is official, you are free to be with Jason…officially and legally."

(Elizabeth and Jason smile at each other)

Liz: "Ummm…Diane?"

Diane: "Yes, ma'am?"

Liz: "When you say the divorce is legally done in a few weeks, how many weeks were you talking about? Out of curiosity?"

Diane: (smiles smugly) "Technically, it would take a while as long as no one contested the divorce. But, with my magic, I can expedite it to two weeks."

(Elizabeth and Jason are shocked! They did not expect the divorce to be done that soon! But, they sure as hell wouldn't complain)

Diane: "Just to warn you, Jason. This may be the most expensive divorce in the history of Port Charles."

Jason: (shakes his head) "I don't care if it costs twenty million or fifty million. Elizabeth and I want the divorce over and done with."

Diane: (chuckles) "Of course you both do." (clears her throat) "Have you told Cameron, Jake, and Aiden about the upcoming divorce or the fact that Jason is the father of all of them?"

Liz: "No. We plan on telling them once they come back from their outing with Monica."

Jason: "I'll tell Monica everything tomorrow so she knows. Monica knows I'm the father of the boys, but not about the divorce."

Diane: (to Liz) "Are you ready to officially be a Webber again soon?"

Liz: (chuckles dryly) "You have no idea, Diane. Can you please help me with the name change while you're helping expedite the divorce?"

Diane: (nods) "You bet I can. I'll get right on it."

(Elizabeth gives the divorce papers to Diane and smiles)

Liz: "Now, it's up to you."

Diane: "I won't disappoint you, sweetie. I've never disappointed my clients so far. I don't intend to start now."

Liz: "Don't worry. I trust you."

(Diane puts the papers in her briefcase. She then hugs Elizabeth and pats Jason on the back and departs)

Jason: (sighs deeply) "Are you ready to be a free woman soon?"

(Elizabeth massages Jason's cheek as she spoke)

Liz: "You have no idea, babe. Then we can finally be together…the way it should have always been."

***Kelly's***

Monica: "Are you three having a good supper?"

(All three agree they're having a good time and the food is good)

Cameron: "Thanks, grandma, for taking us out as we enjoy the company."

Jake: "I'm wondering something, though. I'm curious why dad spent the night at mom's the other night?"

(shakes his head) "He's never done that before."

Cameron: "I did think that was a little weird. I figured he just wanted to spend time with us."

Aiden: "Do you know what's going on, Grandma?"

Monica: "Hmmm. I'm not sure. Maybe he missed spending time with you guys. You DO know that he considers you his, right, Cameron and Aiden? Jake, you are his technically."

(All three boy's nod. Monica made a mental note to talk to Jason and Elizabeth about what the boys asked. She didn't know what they knew and didn't know)

***The Pier***

(Sam couldn't help but be amused that Cyrus was interested in sleeping with her)

Sam: (chuckles) "I didn't know that you thought of me that way. I guess I learn something new every day."

Cyrus: (shrugged) "I'm a lonely man who has needs outside of working on my business. To answer your question, yes, I've noticed you. Do I want a relationship with you?" (shakes his head) "No."

Sam: (chuckles) "Don't worry. I don't want a relationship with you, either. Of course, you have needs. I think it's safe to say we all have needs. That's what makes us human."

Cyrus: "What'll it be? I help you and you help me?"

Sam: (nods) "If it means getting rid of that bitch, you got it."

Cyrus: (smiles & nods) "Glad we can help each other out."
