This might actually be the quickest time I've ever posted another chapter, of course I could be wrong here

CHAPTER 2: THE NIGHTMARE ALTERNATIVE
The Next Day...
Wallace, along with Stacey (Status: Feeling so much anxiety right now...), who had met up with him, went over to Ramona's place to see if Scott was ok. Along the way however, both of them felt uneasy, upset and pretty much stressed out more than usual. Upon arrival at Ramona's apartment, Stacey knocked on the door, but nobody answered for a good long moment. She tried to knock again before Ramona answered the door, surprised to see the two of them. "Stacey? Wallace? What are you guys doing here?" She asked, wondering what brought them to her place on a work day.
"We came to see if Scott was doing ok after last night, well me mostly." Wallace explained to Ramona, who looked like she was feeling worried herself. "Ahem. I wanted to check on him too, since he is my brother." Stacey then said to Wallace, even slightly elbowing him in the ribs out of annoyance. "Anyways, did Scott come back here earlier on?" Wallace then asked, hoping Scott had reconciled with Rammy. "N-No. I haven't seen him since we argued last night. Wait, you guys haven't seen him either?" Ramona (Anxiety Level: Through the roof!) then responded, though she was just as shocked to discover that they hadn't seen Scott.
"No, neither of us have. Honestly, when I didn't see him show up at my workplace for his usual order, I went to go look for him, even met up with Wallace who said he couldn't find him either, but we couldn't find him in any of the places he usually goes, so...we came to you." Stacey then explained. "W-Well he couldn't have gone far. There must be some explanation. I think we'd better go see what's happened." Ramona then said, joining Scott's sister and buddy to find her boyfriend. "Then what are we waiting for? Let's go find him." Wallace then responded, and with that, the trio were off to find Scott Pilgrim.
Throughout the morning…
Ramona, Wallace and Stacey went to Scott's workplace, The Happy Avocado, to see if he was there...but he wasn't, and the strangest thing was that after asking around to see where he was, nobody, not even Dominique (Status: Not in the mood for any funny business today...especially from strangers), knew who he actually was, which was bizarre enough as it was for Ramona. They then went over to Sneaky Dees to ask if anyone had seen Scott, but the same thing happened again, and again with No-Account Video. Along their investigation though, they noticed that a lot of Toronto was going a bit nuts, and not the good kind either.
Many places had been broken into, filled with homeless people, shut down due to bankruptcy and/or otherwise boarded up like in horror or apocalyptic movies, and there was also graffiti written along quite a few buildings as well, saying She is the Key to Harmony and Down with Patel and so on. "Uh…did something happen last night while we were asleep, you guys?" Wallace then asked with worry, something which both girls shrugged in worry and confusion. In fact, Ramona was beginning to get scared herself, seeing much chaos on the streets and even narrowly avoided getting hit by a police car chasing an armoured car if Stacey hadn't pulled her back in time.
"Ok...I definitely don't remember Toronto being this chaotic over the last week." Ramona then said with worry. And as she caught her breath, Ramona suddenly felt her head going light and heard a ringing from her ears. "You ok, Ramona...?" Stacey asked as she placed her hand on Ramona's shoulder. "I...I...I'm fine...thanks though, Stace." She responded gently with a smile, feeling her dizziness fade slightly. After that moment, Ramona looked around the streets until she saw someone, someone with a familiar navy parka with a fuzzy hoodie and of course, the symbol of the X-Men sewn onto the right shoulder of the sleeve, and only one person the trio knew wore that coat…
"Scott...?" Wallace gasped in realization as he looked at Ramona and Stacey, who were just as much filled with hope as he was. "Only one way to find out, guys! Come on, let's go!" Ramona then said before skating after the person. Stacey and Wallace ran after Ramona, ignoring that she was faster with her skates and more focused on finding the guy in their life.
THE PRESENT DAY...NOT!
Ramona, Wallace and Stacey saw the figure with Scott's coat go into a building that seemed to be like The Rockit. Not questioning what was going on, Ramona rushed to catch up with 'Scott' and hug him. "Scott! Where have you been?! I was so-!" Ramona began, arms opened and ready to hug her boyfriend...only for the person with Scott's coat turn out to be none other than his ex-high-school-girlfriend, Knives Chau, (Age: 18. Occupation: College Student. Status: Wearing Scott Parka?), causing her to trip up out of shock.
"Knives? What are you doing here?" Ramona asked as Knives knelt down and helped her up, just as Wallace and Stacey had caught up with the two. "Hey Ramona. I'd...kinda be more enthusiastic, but...I'm kinda looking for Scott right now." She said sheepishly, and from the tone of her voice, it sounded like she was just as worried. "You're worried about Scott too?" Stacey asked her friend who nodded sadly. "Yeah...I found I had his jacket in my dorm, figured something was wrong and I came back home to see if he was ok." Knives explained to her friends.
"So you haven't seen him around at all?" Wallace asked Knives. "Not since I got back..." Knives (Sadness/Worry Level: High) responded sadly. Those words made Ramona tear up, her anxiety most likely reaching critical at this point. "Why doesn't this make sense, you guys…? Scott disappearing, nobody giving us a straight answer…what the hell is going on here?!" She exclaimed, feeling like she was going to have an imminent meltdown. "Also…why is everyone gathered at this place…?" Stacey asked after a closer look inside The Rockit. "Hang on, what do you…mean…?" Ramona began, only to trail off when she realized that Stacey was right.
Looking around the whole building, the quartet saw that everyone they knew, or otherwise who had known Scott, was in the building, speaking to each other like something was going on. Kim Pine, Lisa Miller (Age: 23. Occupation: Failed Hollywood Actress?), Stephen Stills and Neil Nordegraf were there, speaking to each other about Scott being the best thing, and a little bit the worst thing, in their lives. Julie Powers was also there with Sandra and Monique, mocking Scott's life like it was nothing. Other Scott was talking with Mobile, Joseph, Hollie and even Comeau were saying that Scott seemed like a nice guy. Scott's parents, including his brother Lawrence, were also speaking to each other, though sadly.
But shockingly enough, Ramona and the others saw three familiar faces among the crowd, including one face from her past: The Clash of Demonhead (Lead Singer: Envy Adams. (Age: 25) Drummer: Lynette Guycott. Base Player: TODD INGRAM?!) and Roxie Richter (Ramona's Fourth Evil Ex. Status: Alive?! How?!), alive and surprisingly well, but Ramona knew this was impossible because Scott defeated her. "Ok...now I know something is definitely wrong." Wallace said, and no amount of margaritas could make him get over this nightmare.
"Split up and look for Scott. If you find him, then find us again." Ramona said to the group, and almost immediately they split up and searched the building and mingled with everyone to find Scott's (Not Other Scott, Regular Scott) whereabouts. Stacey went to ask Julie if she knew where he was, but being the XXXXX and a half like she always was, she was no help at all. Wallace went to ask Neil and Stephen if they knew where Scott was, but they remained silent…there wasn't any answer, but Wallace figured that something happened that put Scott the middle center of the mystery, something the boys weren't saying.
Knives went to ask Kim, the one who'd known Scott the longest, who was with Lynette, if she knew where Scott was. Unfortunately, Lynette cut her off, threatening to punch her. Kim just said to come back later, and reluctantly, Knives agreed. Ramona meanwhile was looking around and briefly asking for Scott with no results until she was met with one of the last people she'd planned on meeting today. "Well well well…look who decided to show up here. The expert on cheating herself." Roxie said with a vicious sneer towards Ramona. Of course, Rammy didn't respond to that since she wasn't in any mood to fight with Roxie.
"Come on, don't give me the doom and gloom there. You could at least pretend you're glad to see me." The Blonde Half-Ninja then sighed as she put on a slight smile. "It's good to see you're alive…why are you here anyway?" Ramona said to herself for the first part before she talked to her ex. "My girlfriend wanted to be here, and well, I'm here to support her." Roxie said with an unimpressed attitude, sounding like she'd moved on from Ramona. "You have a girlfriend?" Hearing this from her ex, Roxie grabbed her sword and nearly threatened to slice Ramona's head off.
"Don't get any funny ideas. You steal her from me, I will-" Roxie began threateningly, only for Ramona to shove the sword away in annoyance. "Ok, I'm very happy for you, I really am. But can we please put our differences aside for one day and can you tell me where Scott is? I mean did he go out of town for a while?" She then asked, cutting to the chase before being met with Roxie's confused expression. "Who's Scott?" She asked, almost like she didn't know who Ramona's boyfriend, the one she had tried to kill, was (Not-So Fun Fact: She most likely doesn't...somehow).
This was it...the last straw, or whatever it was. "SCOTT!" Ramona yelled, the bizarre morning finally overwhelming her emotionally, believing this was some kind of cruel prank by Scott. Her outburst had gained the attention of almost everyone immediately, including Kim. "Ok, ok, I get it. You're just trying to get even with me after yesterday and it worked. Look, I'm sorry about yesterday, I was just stressed out and needed the rest of the night to myself." Ramona then called out, hoping Scott would appear and everyone to drop their acts...but he didn't.
"Amazing performances by the way, XXXhats, and even everyone else. Didn't know you actually knew how to pull a stunt like this off." Wallace then complemented with a chortle, but in truth, he was just as worried (Understatement of the Decade here) about Scott as the girls were. "Yeah, but the fun's over now, Scott. So can you please knock it off now, because you're really beginning to scare your own sister here." Stacey added with panic in her tone as Knives tried her best to calm her down. "I swear, Scott, if this is some kind of cruel prank on us then I'm gonna-!" Wallace then yelled, only to be cut off by Scott's parents.
"Wallace! Can you please pipe down and tell us who you kids are looking for?" Stacey's Parents (Mr. and Mrs. Pilgrim.) said firmly as they approached her, Ramona, Knives and Wallace. "I'm looking for Scott. the four of us are." Stacey explained to her parents. "Scott? As in your friend called Other Scott?" Mrs. Pilgrim then asked in confusion, unintentionally not helping the matter. "Rgh! Not you too!" Wallace exclaimed in frustration,
"I mean who's Scott to you four?" Mrs. Pilgrim asked gently. "He's my brother!" Stacey exclaimed in frustration, unable to take the madness any longer. "Scotty's my buddy since college!" Wallace added as he tried to clear the confusion. "And my ex..." Knives sadly responded back, making Wallace (Wallace Wells' Note: Like I said, Knives is an Angel) pat her on the back. "But more to the fact, Scott's my boyfriend." Ramona tried to explain further to Mr. and Mrs. Pilgrim, though obviously enough, it didn't work in terms of getting info.
"You know, your son. Scott Pilgrim! 24 Years Old, fair skin, short tawny hair, wore this jacket that Knives has on her now, and has a smile like this." Ramona explained, describing her boyfriend and even smiling the way she remembered, enough to make Stacey's parents surprised. "As in, our son, and Lawrence and Stacey's other brother, Scott?" Mr. Pilgrim (Mr. Pilgrim's Note: Why didn't they just say that in the first place?) then realised as he looked at his wife. "Yes. Have you seen him around at all, dad?" Stacey then asked hopefully.
"Well...we'll take you to see Scott." Mr. Pilgrim said before he and his wife lead Ramona and the others to where Scott was. "Thank you so much, dad." Stacey beamed with relief, hopes of seeing her brother filling her back up along with the others. "I swear, when we see Scott, he's gonna have a lot of explaining to do." Wallace then said to Ramona with a growl of annoyance.
Over in the St. James Cemetery
Mr. and Mrs. Pilgrim continued to lead Ramona, Wallace, Stacey and Knives to Scott, though it seemed pretty spooky if he went to a graveyard. "Don't worry guys, it's probably nothing too..." Stacey began, but after her parents stopped at a gravestone...her expression dropped suddenly in horror (Stacey Pilgrim's Note: No...this cant be happening!) and she nearly screamed. "Bad..." She squeaked the last words to herself. Ramona would've asked what was wrong, but one look on Stacey's face told her to look at the Gravestone her parents had brought them to...and now she wished she didn't look.

Always taking on high-level enemies, but never giving up
Ramona's heart skipped so many beats it felt like she would go into a coma. "Scott...? Is this really...?" She began, so much emotions rushing through her mind that began to make her cry. "It's absolutely tragic, I know...dying at the age of a young adult." Mr. Pilgrim said sadly as he comforted his wife. "No...this isn't happening..." Wallace said, putting his hands on his head in horror as he saw the gravestone. "RIP? As in R-Rest In Peace?! As in Scott's...S-Scott's...dead?! HE'S ACTUALLY DEAD?!" Knives shrieked, freaking out at the sight of the gravestone's writing.
"S-Sir...I-Is this some kind of sick joke?!" Ramona asked woefully, distraught at Scott's death and believing it to be some kind of wicket prank to send her insane. "It's never been a joke, my dear. He's gone...and we can't bring him back." Mrs. Pilgrim said with sorrow in her tone. At this point, Knives was absolutely horrified of this discovery, first her nightmares and then THIS?! "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" She screamed towards the sky in horror, so loud enough that it nearly broke glass from that radius...
AND THEN KNIVES FAINTED
A little while later back in the Rockit...
"Knives…? Knives, are you ok?" Ramona's voice called out in concern, just as Knives' eyes fluttered open gently to see that she was back in the Rockit and that everyone, Scott's friends and all, around her. "Hey look, she's waking up!" Kim (Status: Never shown THIS much concern for anyone in her life) then pointed out as Knives fully awoke with a moan. "Knives, are you ok?" Wallace then asked as he helped her to his feet. "Y-Yeah…what happened…?" Knives gently asked as she placed a hand on her forehead and looked around, trying to figure out what happened.
"We took you back to the Rockit after you passed out from screaming in the graveyard, Knives. Don't you remember that part?" Mr. Pilgrim explained to Knives, causing her to gasp as she remembered what she saw...and then she cried, leaving Ramona to comfort her as best as she could. "W-What's going on here, Rammy...?" She sobbed while hugging Ramona. "I...I don't know, Knives...this whole day's been absolutely crazy." Ramona said softly. All the while, Wallace turned back to everyone in the Rockit with a furious tone in his voice. "How is it my buddy died?! Someone tell me that?! Oh man, I must be dreaming..." He exclaimed, still stressful about the situation.
"You really don't know, Wallace...? Or were you too drunk that night to remember?!" Stephen Stills (Has a right mind to punch Wallace) asked angrily and accusingly towards Wallace. "I've never actually been THAT drunk, Stephen! I know my buddy wouldn't die just like that!" Wallace yelled back in his own defence, even that of Scott's too. "Everyone knows the story of that day: That jerk Pilgrim fought this one guy here and not only lost the fight, but lost his life as well." Julie explained to Wallace the story of how Scott defeated Matthew Patel…only, that wasn't the story at all.
"Wait what?! That's NOT what happened!" Ramona said, gaining everyone's attention. "I know this story from heart, Scott defeated Matthew Patel and fought six of my other exes after him just to date me, and he actually won in the end!" Ramona explained, the story of her and Scott's life (And basically the story of the Novels, Movie and Game too) that she knew by heart. "That includes meathead and blondie over there." Knives then said after sniffling, pointing to Todd (Status: On stage setting up my bass and-hey! I'm a Rockstar, not a meathead!) and Roxie.
"Wait what...?" Roxie asked in surprise upon hearing this. "That's right. Scott fought that league and-" Wallace then began in Ramona's defence, but was cut off by Todd. "You kidding me...? The League's no more..." Todd then yelled after nearly getting caught kissing Lynette. "He's just saying that Scott-" Ramona tried to continue. "Are you deaf, Miss Flowers? You heard everyone: Scott Pilgrim is DEAD! D E A D!" Envy then butted in harshly, even shoving Ramona away despite the protests of Scott's parents. "Well this can't be true because we both had an argument last night!" Ramona then exclaimed, the last memory of herself and Scott she had from yesterday.
"Ok, you're making that up. You're clearly not as cool as I thought you were, Ramona." Julie (Status: Treating Ramona like she did Scott.) then scoffed in annoyance to Ramona's shock, something which caused Envy to smirk. "And besides, you clearly don't know anything about the relationship we both had, even if he was the least important chapter of the book of my life and even if I don't remember much at all. Now if you don't mind, I have a performance to do." Envy proudly said before walking towards the stage to get ready for her performance. Angered by this, though not as much, Ramona brought up the one thing that Envy and Scott DID know about.
"You both broke up after he got a haircut!" She then spoke, causing Envy (Emotion: Pure shock) to stop in her tracks. "I didn't make that up. Scott told me everything, that you were too blinded by fame to even see the beauty of a song he wrote for you or even the relationship he tried to have with you. And you even cheated on him with that meathead you call a boyfriend too!" Going on about this info, everyone was stunned and even oohing at this reveal, heck, even Envy even turned back towards Ramona along with Todd, who heard the whole thing.
"Well said there, Rammy! And you know what, you snooty ol' XXXXX? You know Todd punched a hole in the moon to prove he loves you right? He did the same thing for Rammy here. He cheated on you before, and he's still at it." Wallace (Ramona Flower's Note: How does he still remember that?) then said, revealing one of the biggest things Scott and Ramona knew to Envy, who gave a death glared at Todd. "T-That's not true, Envy! I swear!" Todd exclaimed in fright, holding up his hands in his in his own defence. "Oh please, I just saw you kiss the drummer a moment ago, you meathead." Wallace then said in annoyance, causing everyone to gasp.
"Drama..." Sandra said to Monique. As this happened, Todd felt himself going pale, been exposed for the cheater he was. "Ramona, are you seriously saying that just to break up-" Julie began in annoyance, but Ramona cut her off almost immediately. "Ok, that's not the point. The point I'm making here is that Scott told me a lot of things in his life, better or worse. We even knew things too." She explained, confusing everyone in the building before speaking again. "Lisa, you, Scott and Kim formed a band called Sonic and Knuckles after you became friends but you were too busy with all that to have a relationship." Hearing this from Ramona, Lisa gasped, amazed at how Ramona was right about that.
"Wait, is that true...?" Stephen Stills asked with surprise. "Yeah. And Stephen, you and Scott used to be in Kid Chameleon, Envy's Band, way before Sex Bob-Omb." Hearing this, Stephen was speechless. "Wicked..." Neil said to Ramona with an impressed tone. "A-And Kim...every time Scott did something stupid or something that was lucky, you'd always say Scott if your life had a face, I w-" But just as Ramona was about to finish that phrase, Kim gasped in realization and finished it off. "I would punch it..." She finished before looking at Ramona with shock.
"You really remember everything too...? I thought it was just me..." She asked after gently approaching Ramona. "Wait what? You still remember everything that happened, Kim?" Ramona then asked in shock. The fact that Kim still remembered everything that happened (Aka the story of Scott and Ramona) and didn't say anything, stunned her and Stacey but slightly enraged Wallace. "Why didn't you say anything?!" He yelled in annoyance. "Because I literally though this was just a dream." Kim admitted in her usual tone (Not-So Fun Fact: She really did assume it was a dream).
Hearing those facts from Ramona, everybody (Friends and Family of Scott) was stunned that she DID in fact know about Scott. "You actually know all of that about Scott's life...? B-But how...?" Envy stammered in response of the knowledge Ramona had on Scott. "Well this just got interesting." Hollie said to Joseph with a smirk. "How exactly is this even possible...?" Julie asked nervously, trying to avoid Ramona out of fear. All the while, everyone was so shocked, nobody noticed Knives playing bass, specifically, Todd's own bass (Knives Chau's Note: After I snatched it off him) so well like Scott did.
"Wallace, this goes for you too?" Mobile (Wallace's Current Boyfriend. Powers: Psychic) spoke in surprise, even feeling like something was off. "Mobile, it's true. We know everything about Scott Pilgrim, but we don't know what the hell's going on today or how any of this even happened. A-And Mr. and Mrs. Pilgrim, I know this is hard to believe but-wait...what's that noise?" Wallace began as he tried to explain further to his boyfriend and Scott's parents...only to hear Todd's bass playing. Everyone then turned to see Knives playing the guitar so well, heck, even Ramona and Kim were amazed too.
"Knives...? I didn't know you could play bass." Stephen then said as he turned towards the 18-year-old, who had just finished playing the instrument. "You'd be surprised. I mean I asked-" Knives began, but after seeing this happen, Mobile interrupted. "W-Wait...how long have you been able to play bass so brilliant like Scott did, Knives?" Mobile then asked, realising there was definitely something wrong here. "J-Just this morning when I woke up. Why?" Knives responded to Mobile in confusion. Mobile then looked towards Ramona, Wallace, Stacey and Kim.
"And you guys...as obvious as this might sound, are any of you feeling extremely depressed, worry and confusion?" Mobile then asked, knowing the exact feelings that Ramona and the others were feeling today. "Y-Yeah, that's how we've been feeling all morning." Stacey confirmed in concern. "Are you also experiencing headaches, especially light-headedness and and the odd dizziness?" Mobile then asked as he looked at Wallace and then Ramona to psychically see the problem. "Yes, the five of us are! Why?" Ramona (Status: Confused if anything. She really wants to know what the XXXX is going on!) responded as she let out an annoyed tone.
Gasping in horror, Mobile's expression told Wallace that he knew the problem. "Oh no...there's only three possible scenarios that could've happened. One: You five have had mental breakdowns and hallucinated about this...though to be fair, this doesn't seem like the right scenario here." He began, dismissing the first scenario after seeing Kim's angered expression. "Two: You've been infected by The Glow and could attack us and drag us into Gideon's cult at any moment..." Before Ramona could even cut Mobile off when he mentioned that Gideon had a cult, he used his psychic powers and knocked Wallace's Head, along with Ramona's Kim's, Stacey's and Knives' together, causing them so much pain and even shocking everyone (Monique's Note: Can it get anymore dramatic than this?) as well.
"Ow! What gives dude!" Kim yelled as she held her head in pain. "What the hell, Mobile?!" Wallace yelled, complaining to his own boyfriend. Seeing this, Mobile lowered his head in realization. "XXXX...it's not The Glow..." He said to himself, even briefly looking away. "Wait a minute, it's not The Glow? You mean the third scenario's worse than The Glow?!" Ramona exclaimed, worried about what and how the third scenario was worse than the second one. "Is there somewhere we can all go privately? I promise you, I'll explain everything there." Mobile then asked, and thankfully, Kim had just the place.
CHRONO DISCOVERY (or CD for Short)
Over at Kim's Place
Mobile brought Ramona, Wallace, Stacey, Knives and Kim back to Kim's home, and even allowed a few others to tag along, like Stephen, Neil, Lisa, Envy, Roxie, Todd and Lawrence too, even Scott's Parents. He had everyone sit in the living room (Except for Stephen, who wanted to stand) while he explained what Ramona, his boyfriend and their friends were experiencing. "No offense, Mobile. But can you please tell us what's going on before I die of boredom? I mean, we've been here for like an hour." Kim groaned, demanding what to know what was going on with her and her friends.
"Gladly. Your sudden obsessions, traits that Scott Pilgrim had, along with your gloomy emotional pains could be a clear sign that the five of you are involved in some kind of anomaly in time, or to put it in simple terms, a temporal fracture." Mobile explained, pacing in front of everyone as he explained everything. "Temporal fracture? What does that even mean?" Knives asked gently, not wanting to get mad after she fainted earlier. "I'm talking about Time Travel (Ramona Flower's Note: Wait, that's actually possible?!). Whatever's happened here, it seems that time travel was definitely involved." Mobile then went on, explaining further.
"Come on, time travel?" Lawrence (Status: You've gotta be kidding me...) then asked, annoyed at the idea. "A divergence from a scenario that Ramona, my boyfriend, Stacey, Kim and Knives remember, and yet the rest of us don't." Mobile explained, at least, he assumed that was a question from Lawrence. "I know what it is...I just can't seem to believe it." Lawrence then responded before folding his arms and turning away. "Well for better or worse, it's possible to travel through time..." Mobile then confirmed in a serious tone.
Everyone was shocked to know this fact, about time travel, about Scott, basically about both. "Wait...so you're saying we lost our bass player (And got Sex Bob-Omb disbanded)..." Stephen began in shock. "And our son..." Mrs. Pilgrim sadly continued as she looked at the floor, with her husband and two children trying their to comfort her. "Because of time travel?!" Ramona finished, furious because of the fact that time travel had somehow killed her boyfriend. "Hey! That's cheating! Meathead and I never even got a chance to fight Scott Pilgrim!" Roxie growled angrily, and Ramona couldn't blame her. "Stop calling me that!" Todd growled in annoyance.
"This is so crazy! Nobody could possibly figure out how to travel through time!" Lisa then said in shock, unable to believe what she heard. "Well you'd be right, Lisa. But in fairness, someone DID figure it all out." Mobile then brought up to Lisa's surprise. "Oh yeah, I think I remember this. Apparently, five years back in the year 2000, some nerd made an actual working time machine from the parts of an old DeLorean (Ramona Flowers' Note: As in Back to the Future?). But he only let a handful of people, like students, know about it since nobody believed him." Wallace then remembered, something he actually forgot after a long while, possibly due to helping Scott fight the exes.
"Normally I'd kick your ass for not telling us, Wallace. But given these circumstances, who'd be so much of a XXXX to kill Scott and change history?!" Kim then asked as she looked around accusingly at everyone (Except Lisa) who was here in her living room. "Well don't blame me. Scott and I had our differences sure, but I wouldn't stoop that low." Envy said in disgust of being accused. "And why would any of us wanna kill Scott as a matter of fact? Sure, he's an idiot, but I would never kill him." Stephen then added firmly, even Neil nodded in agreement.
Ramona meanwhile, just sat there thinking...and then it hit her. "Life's about to change..." Ramona spoke to herself before gasping in shock, even gaining the attention of everyone. "What is it, Rammy?" Knives asked with worry, the look on Ramona's face telling her that she knew something. "Yesterday, Scott and I were fighting some Shadow Figure whose identity he knew, he seemed to have beef with him, kidnapped me, Stephen, Stacey and Kim just to fight him, but we never managed to defeat him yesterday, even when..." Ramona went on, explaining, but then when she tried to admit what she said to him yesterday...Wallace then cut her off.
"That's right, Scott told me that the figure told him that his precious little life's about to expire...literally. Oh my XXXXXXX god! That's what the Shadow Figure must have meant when he said that, Mobile!" Wallace exclaimed, the pieces of the mystery puzzle beginning to fit into place for him and Ramona. And hearing this, Mobile began to look very worried. "Oh dear. I-If whoever that Shadow Figure was, found out the existence and use of the time machine, oh god...he could've seriously altered the course of history for worse!" He said, he possibility of which he realized was more and more true at this point.
"I think he already did. On the way here, a lot of places were boarded up, shut down etc., there was also chaos on the streets and not to mention-" Stacey began from what she, Wallace and Ramona remembered from earlier on. "The other exes are currently wreaking havoc across Toronto?" Roxie interrupted awkwardly. "Well we didn't see that, but maybe that's...true?" Stacey then continued before looking at the TV, which Roxie had turned on, in the room to see a news report, but not just any...it was one that showed footage over all of Toronto and on the streets, showing nothing but chaos.
Most of the League of Evil Exes (Status: Still Alive. Ramona Flowers' Note: Not surprising here...) had been responsible for the chaos in Toronto Canada as it turned out, each with their own district and expanding boarders etc. all for their own personal greed and power. Matthew Patel had taken over Gideon's empire and modified everything in his own image, and apparently he was ruling over Toronto with an iron fist. The Katayanagi Twins had built an army of robots that patrolled the city for their new boss and abducting anyone who didn't comply with him.
And Gideon, having lost everything, formed a cult that involved gaining Ramona's hand by force in order to bring back harmony to Toronto (Wallace Wells' Note: That explains the graffiti from earlier). But the others, like Lucas Lee, Roxie and Todd, were left in the gutter to rot or otherwise get on with their own lives. "You've gotta be kidding me..." Kim said in disbelief, not just the images of the Katayanagis and their robots, but the other exes destroying everything. "And now I know what the graffiti was all about there." Wallace then added, also shocked at the events happening to Toronto.
"Yeah...like I said: The League disbanded, but then we decided to take over this whole place for our own gain. Apparently Matthew thought his victory was never enough for him after that." Todd explained gently to Ramona. "But Scott defeated-um…was supposed to have defeated every one of them, even you and Roxie, to continue dating me as my boyfriend." Ramona then replied to Todd, recalling how their story went, all while being shocked at everything happening. "Well apparently he's not your boyfriend, Rammy. Someone obviously made sure that train never left the station." Roxie pointed out, having her standards and almost sounded like she was against all the madness from the beginning.
"Scott died…the exes are still on the loose…" Ramona (Emotion: Livid) said to herself before she then growled in realization. "Rammy, you don't think…?" Stacey then spoke with worry before Ramona looked directly at her. "No doubt, Stacey…that XXXXXXX went back in time and killed him!" She figured, regretting not going after The Shadow Figure when Scott suggested. "Then what are we waiting for, girls? If we're gonna get that train to its destination, we're gonna need to stop THAT from happening!" Wallace then said firmly, getting off the couch and walking over to Ramona as he did so.
Before he could walk out the door however, Wallace was stopped by Knives. "What are you crazy, Wallace?! Did you not see what's happening in Toronto?" She exclaimed, not letting Wallace out the door. "Scott's my buddy, Knives. I don't want to live in a world where he's dead. He's saved us from oblivion, especially Kim and Ramona, and I know she's still dating Scott. I mean, if you two were still dating, how far would you go to save his life?" Wallace (Best Pep Talk Ever!) asked as he turned towards, Ramona and Kim. He had a vey good point, and Ramona was glad that he was willing to save Scott.
"Wallace is right. Scott would do the same for us, for me, and he did. So we've gotta go back in time and save his life." Ramona responded in agreement. "Not saying it's a crap plan, Ramona, but we don't exactly have a freaking time machine of our own!" Kim then pointed out with a groan, pointing out a tiny flaw in the plan. "Maybe we could find one or build one?" Stacey then suggested. "It's easier to find one than you might think actually. Find The Nerd. He runs a video game store in Toronto as a cover-up for his true job, hopefully he'll still be there and conveniently enough, have a spare time machine." Mobile then said, revealing the location of The Nerd's place.
"Well then, you heard my boyfriend. Let's go find that nerd!" Wallace then said, and with that said, Ramona, Stacey, Knives and Kim then gathered up a few things and prepared to head out the door...only for Stacey to look back at everyone else in Kim's home. "Aren't you guys coming?" Stacey then asked, turning towards everyone else in surprise. "Actually...we'll only just slow you down if too many of us come, we might mess everything up too and, well...this isn't our story. I think it's better if we just stay here." Envy (Envy Adam's Note: I'm too famous for this! Can you blame me?!) then admitted, and surprisingly, nobody disagreed with her.
"You're all gonna stay and hold down the fort, aren't you?" Kim asked in annoyance, though in fairness, she couldn't blame them too much. "Yep. Don't worry Kim, we'll be fine. Just save the world and Scott." Lisa then said, but not before she wished her and the others good luck on saving Scott. "We will, I promise, Lisa." Kim said with a slight smile as she walked out the door. "Ok, um...slight problem...we've gotta move fast because, uh...Gideon's cult is heading right for us!" Wallace then brought up, pointing towards a convenient TV that showed Gideon's cult nearing the street they were on.
"I think Julie might've ratted on us." Knives then said, of course she didn't know if it was true or not, but she had a little bit of a hunch that they were ratted on. "Oh well that's just perfect, we'll never get to The Nerd at this rate!" Wallace growled, annoyed that they were most likely doomed. "I'll draw them off, Ramona. Just get to The Nerd and save the world." Roxie then said with confidence as she tried to rush away from the house on her skates, only to be stopped by Ramona. "Roxie, no! You can't, they'll run you down if they get you." She said, not wanting her fourth ex to die (again) for nothing.
"Oh please, Rammy. I taught you everything I know. I'd like to see 'em try." Roxie (Status: Daring to be badass. Roxie's Note: If I'm goin' down, I'm gonna do it in style.) responded with a smirk and a determined look in her eye.
After a few moments
Gideon (Ramona's 7th Evil Ex. Insanity Levels: Unfathomable) and his cult were about to turn down the street to find Ramona, and he was eager to finally get her back after so long. "This is it, my loyalists…the moment we have all been waiting for. With Ramona in my hands again, harmony will be restored!" He said triumphantly, and hearing this, the rest of his followers cheered. They were prepared to turn down the street and meet any resistance, when they suddenly saw Ramona Flowers skating from the latter to their shock.
"After her, my loyalists! Bring her to me at any cost!" Gideon yelled, pointing at Ramona before many of his followers ran after her at such faster speeds than anyone could've imagined. "Ha! You'll never take me back, Gideon!" Ramona then laughed off as she raced down the streets towards the city where the Katayanagis were causing havoc like they usually were (In this altered reality I mean).
Ramona was fast enough to leave a lot of the cult so far behind, and the ones that still pursued her, she swiftly dodged and even sliced in half with her sword whenever she got the chance, turning them into coins. She was about to turn away and head back to find her friends but suddenly got ambushed by a few of Gideon's followers, who overwhelmed her and caused her to crash into a robot and tumble head over heels onto the floor.
The cult surrounded Ramona after a few moments, leaving her no chance of escape at all. And after one more moment, Gideon arrived with a wicked smirk across his face, head glowing with such ferocity. "Ramona, my muse…with you by my side again, all will be restored for us and we will surely…" Gideon began, only to stop when Ramona looked up at him with a smirk. To his and his followers' shock, they hadn't actually caught Ramona, but instead, they had actually caught Roxie, who had disguised herself as her ex to throw them all off.
"Wh-What?! Where the hell is Ramona Flowers, Roxie?" Gideon demanded in anger whilst he threatened to blast one of his own league members with The Glow. "Bite me, you XXXX!" Roxie then spat back, even flipping off her ex-boss as a bonus. Knowing that Roxie wouldn't talk, Gideon blasted her with the glow, and the last thing Roxie thought on her mind was that at least Ramona was safe and sound elsewhere. "If Ramona's not here...then where is she?!" He growled in thought as he looked around to figure where his 'muse' could have gone.
Oh no! Gideon has Roxie under his control with The Glow now! Well, at least she made her sacrifice count to help Ramona.
So what happens now? Can Ramona and the others find The Nerd before he leaves? Can reality ever be restored back to the way it was? And will we ever know the identity of The Shadow Figure?
