While Lisa got to work in fixing her machine, the rest of the Louds were doing things from that era that seem normal to them, as they were oblivious to the change. After finishing up with her phone call, Lori got up from her bed, grabbed a 2000 style shoulder bag and went for the door, only to meet with her sister, Leni.

Leni:"Oh! Hey, babe. I was just about to get ready to go to the mall."

Lori:"Mind if I join you? I wouldn't mind picking up some bling. And I'm thinking of getting me a new phone."

Leni:"Oooh! Like the Nokia? That would be great if I could get one myself."

Lori:"Well, come along then. Time's-a waisting."

And while they were preparing, they also got the family hooked on going to the mall as well. All except for Lisa, who's been working nonstop to try and fix the Time Machine. So far, she's narrowed down the problem to needing extra parts in order to repair the machine and getting it working again. But as she was getting around to doing that, Lincoln passed by her door.

Lincoln:"Yo, Lisa. Whatcha doin'?"

Lisa:"Oh! Just, uh, some side projects. You know how it is."

Lincoln:"Uh, huh. Okay. We're gonna be heading over to the mall soon. You baring with us?"

Lisa:"Uh…yes! I'm getting ready as we speak! Just…chillax and I'll be right there."

Lincoln:"Alright. Whatever you say. Oh, and are you gonna take that thing apart like I asked you too?"

He points to the Time Machine, and Lisa starts to sweat, knowing she needs it intact. She couldn't anything while her brother was looking at her conspicuously.

Lincoln:"Just scrap it when we get back. Cool!"

Lisa:"Uh, yep! So cool! Sub-zero cool!"

Lisa tried her best to act like she was from the 2000 era, but acting wasn't really her specialty. Still, it was enough to get her siblings off her back as Lincoln walks accepted that and walked away, giving Lisa a chance to take a breather.

Lisa:"This may be beneficial. I might be able to find what I need at the mall. While limited to the technology of this time, I shall have to salvage what I need from specific resources here."

Soon enough, the rest of the siblings readied themselves to go to the mall. Heading outside, Lisa was surprised to see that even Vanzilla had changed. From behind a hybrid model in her present to simply now being a white dodge ram van with a blue streak printed into the sides. At least it was still designed to feet each and everyone of them as they all entered from oldest to youngest. During the drive, Lisa kept a notepad of what she needs to get.

She knew she couldn't just by the stuff she needed because her age and because of how things worked in this era. But if returning to the right time meant having to steal a few resources to do so, so be it.

They soon arrived at the mall, and after parking the vehicle and making their way inside, the siblings decided to break up groups of pairs…well, most of them at least. Lincoln would go on his own while the rest of his sisters would be in pairs.

Lori:"Remember to meet back here in a few hours, Lincoln!"

Lincoln:"(taking off) I'll be there!"

Lori:"Now. How are the rest of us going to settle this?"

It didn't take long for them to go into the selected pairs, with Lori and Lisa going together. Since Lori was going to the phone store, it was easy for Lisa to go and get some of the resources she would need from a LOT of phones she would have to "borrow" while Lori gets herself a new cell phone. A 2000 Navy Blue colored Nokia with silver highlights.

Lori:"Whoo! An upgrade like this will definitely pump up my phone life!"

Lisa rolled her eyes at hearing her sister banter in 2000 based lingo. She already got what she needed, with her arms carrying a bunch of phones as she decided to sneak away and get these back into the car. While on the way, she did her best to avoid any security that she would come across as at the fashion store, Leni was with Lynn and the older of the two was talking to her friends, Miguel and Fiona.

Along with the rest of Royal Woods, they two looked like they would in 2000, Fiona wearing a pink and magenta striped crop top, and blue-gray jeans, and her big hair out of its ponytail and in a pouf style, a slightly wavy style that goes a little past her shoulders, and some locks hanging in front and hair in the front pulled back. Miguel had slicked-back hair, a shiny black jacket over his shirt and flared jeans, as well as red framed set of glasses and a green and black checkered scarf.

From the future to the past, some things just remained the same as the three fashion students got to talk about the latest trends.

Leni:"Hey, guys! Whatcha have for me today?"

Miguel:"Yo, Leni. We got you the perfect the outfits for some special occasions."

Fiona:"Yeah, girl. Hope you're feeling like having the time of your life, cause we got you the best threads for Paris!"

Leni cheered with glee as they showed her a black and white striped shirt with long sleeves, along with a stone blue skirt and dark magenta beret.

Leni:"Eeee! This is some hot stuff! You all know what is fresh!"

Lynn:"How's this for fresh?!"

That's when Lynn jumped over their heads with her snowboard and crashing into a rack of clothing. Fiona and Miguel were now impressed with the sports-loving Loud's antics.

Fiona:"Did you have to bring your wacko of a sister here?"

Leni:"Hey! Lynn's just being herself. I can't help with that. Besides, I'm fine with it."

Lynn:"(does another trick) Righteous! (Crashes) I'm okay!"

Sneaking by the store was Lisa as she was trying to find the fastest way out of the mall, hiding from security. She passes by a Hot Topic, where Luna and Lucy were at. The punk rock sister was looking for some good records on some heavy metal music while Lucy was helping herself to a boombox of all things.

Lucy:"This'll do."

Luna:"I don't understand why you guys go for things like that. The classics are where it's at."

Lucy:"I don't need you messing with my lifestyle, sister."

Apparently in this era, Luna and Lucy were at odds with each other as the rocker girl got in gothic girl's face.

Luna:"I do what I want. I'm older than you. You should listen to what I have to say."

…And then out of nowhere, Lucy slapped Luna across the face, getting the punk girl angry as both girls started to growl at each other.

Store Employee:"Hey, yo, yo. Break it up, you two. You can do all the girl fightin' you want when you paid for you stuff and beat it."

Backing off but not having entirely cool down, both girls paid for their stuff and left in silent fury against each other, holding heavy frowns and Luna having narrowed eyes. While they were not having the best relationship right now, Luan was making of her time with Lily as they were at a bookstore. The baby sister of the Louds was liking some of the books her comical sister was looking at, including a cute one about rabbits.

Luan:"This one's quite hopping, don't you think?"

Lily:"(giggles) hop-hop!"

Luan:"Heheheheh. I'll be sure to get one for you. Now, where do they keep the joke books? I want you to grow up to good jokester just like your sister."

Lily was really enjoying her time with Luan as she eve gave her big sister a kiss on the cheek. That made Luan giggle and blush as she enjoyed her time with her baby sister. Meanwhile, again, Lisa decided to make another quick stop for some other extra resources. This time, it was at the toy/game store that Lincoln was at, looking at some of the latest games of the era.

Lincoln:"Ooh! Hyper Marty 64! Don't mind if I help myself. These games are wicked, I can't wait for them to get better and better."

And while he was talking about that, Lisa helped herself to a spare snes, hoping to use some of its mechanics for what she's planning. She soon made herself scarce, passing by the Fantasy store Lana and Lola were at. This store was exactly what it sounded like, having dragons, Princess, anything that seemed like medieval times.

Lana was looking at figures of knights and dragons while Lola was looking at a princess gowns, one of which was pink, had poofy sleeves and a classic cone shaped cap.

Lola:"I'm thinking this gown would look great for the next pageant. You know how I'm thinking about singing."

Lana:"So I've heard from you. What kind of song are you even gonna do? Opera?"

Lola:"Well, I have been practicing the high notes."

Lana:"Well, you have fun with that. I'm gonna be getting a new castle to go with my set. Maybe Lincoln will get to play with me!"

Lola:"I'd know he'd enjoy that."

And while they were talking about that, Lisa finally made it clear out of the mall without alerting security. Sometime soon, Lori and the rest of the siblings were outside the mall with her doing a headcount.

Lori:"Everyone seems to be here. But wait, where's Lisa?"

Lisa:"(running past) I'm here! Come through! Everyone in the car!"

Shrugging, Lori and the others followed suit as they soon got into the van and drove off. It didn't take long for all of them to head back home, and once inside the house, they all got to enjoy the things they bought during their time at the mall. All while Lisa was busy working on the new modifications to her Time Machine.

Lisa:"Alright. Now I would just to re-power this baby, reset the date back to the proper time in the present and we can all be back to normal."

But little did she know that this was only first of many stops to the past as she and the rest of her family will be taken further back to decades from long ago. The modifications will only ensure that it'll be a safe and long trip as the next decade was already set in…
