As the official looking people carefully crated the now powerless core into a safe containment, Muzzle was getting a medical exam by a couple of Rovers dressed like medics while the team and Theo stood over with anticipation.
"How is he Doc?", Hunter asked a bit nervous.
One of the medics looked up at them looking a bit nervous himself, but then he looked assured.
"Muzzle's pretty banged up, but he'll survive after a couple of days of rest and recuperation.", he informed, "Don't worry about it."
As Muzzle was being patched up, Colleen was giving Theo a firm look.
"What?", Theo asked as he had noticed her.
"Don't 'what?' me, Blitz.", she snapped sharply, "Muzzle got battered all because of your plan and recklessness."
Theo raised an eyebrow.
"Excuse me?", he asked, "Would you prefer he was with the other group and possibly killed?"
Shag saw Colleen grow irritated and held her back as she tried to clobber Theo. Hunter certainly noticed this and grew uneasy.
"Guys, calm down.", he said trying to talk both sides down, "We got the core before it blew, and-"
"Blitz let Parlov and Groomer get away!", Colleen interrupted sharply, "He doesn't deserve to be a Rover at all!"
Theo wasn't phased, but for Blitz's sake he tried to.
"You… want me to go?", he asked looking apologetic and sad, "But what about us? We're a team aren't we?"
"That was a different us.", Colleen answered still firm.
Theo sighed and did his best to look depressed.
"Yeah, I guess we were."
As the other Rovers watched Theo walk off, Exile looked Colleen's way a bit confused. As loyal as he was, he couldn't help but feel bad for his teammate.
"Don't you think that was a little harsh?", he asked.
Shag looked equally confused and said a bunch of gibberish, but still Colleen knew what he said.
"No, I don't feel bad about what I said to him and I'm most certainly not going to apologizing to him.", she insisted, "After all his bad attitude and ego, I'm happy he's going away."
Hunter didn't feel so on board. Sure Blitz was a handful and a bit of an egotist, but he was kind of liking how Blitz had suddenly got the point across and sure he still had a couple flaws, but didn't everybody?
"Colleen, I… I agree with Shag."
Colleen looked shocked and surprised.
"What?!", she asked as Shag let her go, "Hunty, do you have any idea-"
"Do you hear yourself?!", Exile snapped cutting her off, "Blitz finally seemed to be learning some humility and still needs a little work, and you make him leave?!"
Colleen was about to assault Exile this time, but Shag grabbed and held her like before only this time, he wasn't letting go anytime soon. Hunter sighed and started walking in the direction Theo was.
"Hunty?", Colleen asked.
Hunter paused and looked back at his teammate.
"You might not like him Colleen, but Blitz is still our teammate and like it or not, I'm going to go find him so I can apologize."
He headed off again and Exile took a breath before he ran to catch up. Shag looked at Colleen who seemed to finally admit defeat so he let her go and said something to her in gibberish.
"Fine, I'll apologize to Blitz.", she told him before she and Shag went after the other two.

Blitz paused as he took a breather from all the running he had to do. Still, he was still remembering that Rover he saw earlier and the face still brought fear into his heart.
"That was… terrifying.", he huffed.
As he sat down to rest, he then heard footsteps and turned to see Theo as he was shifting into the way he looked when they had first met.
"Theo?", he asked.
Theo smiled as he sat down beside Blitz.
"Having fun?", he asked.
Blitz was confused, but got over it.
"It's been great. I'm feeling better than I have in… in a while."
Theo put a hand on Blitz's.
"Yeah, Hawaii is quite the place to relax and have a break from your troubles isn't it?"
Blitz then looked Theo's way a bit scared.
"Theo, I… I don't know what was going on.", he admitted a bit timid, "The core?"
"All taken care of.", Theo answered, "The team had a nuclear core problem that Parlov and Groomer brought here, but they've split after we took the core down."
Blitz tensed.
"Parlov and Groomer?", he asked, "What do they have to do with Charae and that Rover I met earlier?"
"Charae?", Theo asked, "Who's she?"
Blitz recalled his encounter with the Rover in question and gathered his courage to let it out.
"She's another Rover I met around here, but she was quite the fighter. She bested me before she flicked some kind of capsule at me and I blacked out."
Theo looked thoughtful.
"Okay, what do we know?"
Blitz now looked interested.
"Parlov and Groomer back in the open, a Rover that goes by the name of Charae that steals things, and another Rover that scares the heck out of people."
Theo raised an eyebrow.
"Really? Another Rover?", he asked.
Blitz tensed.
"Yeah, about my height, looks similar to me and wears a scary metal mask over the top half of his face."
Theo frowned.
"Hmm, that is concerning.", he admitted before looking assured, "But chin up Blitz. I'm sure that everything will work out in the end."
Blitz felt better and smiled.
"Well, I better get back to my final day of relaxation huh?"
Theo put his hand on his shoulder.
"Hey, you needed this and I said I'll help get your point across.", he said in a friendly tone, "You work on learning some humility and some breathing exercises to help manage your frustration and you can work on those other Rovers when you're back."
Blitz stood up and helped Theo to do the same.
"Theo, thanks.", he said, "I mean it. Thank you."
Theo gave a happy smile as he and Blitz shared a hug.
"Hey, that's what friends do don't they?"
Blitz suddenly felt a bit scared as he remembered what he had experienced earlier.
"Theo, the core, is it…"
"All taken care of Blitz.", Theo assured as the two parted, "And don't worry about that little experience you had earlier. Think of it as an omen of what is to be expected if you and your team don't pull your act together."
Blitz looked a bit worried, but Theo must have read his mind.
"Hey, enjoy your last day of rest and recouperation before you head back to the German embassy.", he told the Rover, "The deal is still on after all."
Blitz couldn't help but feel a bit off by the way Theo said that, but he was still on vacation and all this arranged tours and activities was helping him unwind so he pushed the thought aside.
"Well, I better get going.", he said before he headed toward the beach, "An instructor is teaching me to surf."

As the team fanned out, they kept in touch with communicators.
"Any sign of him?", Hunter asked over his.
"No sign here.", Exile reported.
Shag just shook his head signaling that he had no luck. Colleen however wasn't looking so eager.
"If he doesn't apologize for the way he's been acting, I'm not apologizing to him."
Hunter rolled his eyes as he hung up. This was going to be quite a show if they found Blitz. As he continued looking around, his ears caught something. It was like singing and it sounded familiar.
"Blitz?", Hunter asked as he paused in awe for a moment.
He dashed in the direction of the singing only for it to stop suddenly and he skidded to a halt. He just turned when another rover passed him. It was too fast to see clearly, but it looked like it was another Doberman like Blitz was.
"Your friend is down by the docks.", the rover said casually clarifying to Hunter it wasn't Blitz.
"Um, thank you.", Hunter said being polite.
"Oh, by the way, I'm Darren."
Hunter turned only to see the rover he had passed, was not there.
"Okay, that was… weird.", he thought to himself.
He dismissed it as he headed to the docks and called the team.
"Why would he go there?", Exile asked.
"Maybe it was the first place to go.", Hunter guessed, "Just meet me there."
"I'll get the jet.", Colleen reported, "I'll meet you there."
Just as Hunter made it to the docks, he could make out Theo (who had now shifted back into Blitz's double) sitting on a bench. He took a breath and came up to him.
"Blitz, you want to talk?"
Theo looked his way with an expression that looked like he had been down there a while, but was regaining his resolve, but he remained silent. Hunter felt like he should talk some more and went for it.
"Look, about what Colleen said back there.", he said hesitantly, "She… she wants you to know something."
Theo raised an eyebrow.
"Is it because of what I had before?", he asked sticking to his guise.
Hunter's heart skipped a beat. Unlike the other rovers on the team, Blitz had a previous occupation that was… not so noble. It was being a guard dog for thieves which would explain why most of the team didn't approve of Shepherd giving Blitz a shot as well as Blitz's aggression and conceited streak. By now the others were showing up with Colleen bringing the jet, but Theo kept talking only looking firm.
"My original owner was down on his luck. The government had forced him into leaving his home, extorting his family and nobody seemed to care how he felt about it. He couldn't stand by and let some corrupt official drag his homeland into the ground and sure it wasn't the noblest of causes, but I had to be there for him when nobody else was. He gave me a job, I did it, I followed orders, and the next thing I knew, he was behind bars and I was out on the street about to be pounded all because he was just trying to get by."
Theo took a moment to take in what he had said. That was when the jet showed up and the team filed in though Colleen gave Theo a firm look as Theo gave one back.
"Oh, it's you again."
Colleen looked more agitated.
"I think you have something to say to me.", she insisted.
"As do you to me.", Theo answered as his expression melted to casual, "But who is willing to admit they were wrong first?"
The team tensed, but Hunter suddenly snapped.
"Hey, I don't care how this started, but both of you are apologizing to each other or we take this up with Shepherd!"
Theo wasn't that moved, but Colleen was. Still, Theo had a part to play so he played along as he and Colleen faced each other.
"Sorry.", they both said in unification.
/
The jet went off, but while everyone else's eyes were off him, Theo gave a smirk as he looked out of the corner of his eye and saw Blitz enjoying the waves.
"I'd say that things are moving along rather well.", he thought to himself.
He turned to Colleen who's back was turned to him and his eyes narrowed.
"And now for the real shake up."
Once the jet returned to base, Shepherd met with the team in the usual meeting room.
"Good work out there."
Theo knew he had to keep up appearances, but before Hunter could talk, he spoke up again.
"Why thank you."
Colleen frowned and turned to Shepherd apologetically.
"Sorry Master, but I think something is up with Blitz here."
Shepherd looked Theo's way suspiciously and Theo tried to keep his cool.
"I just needed a little fresh air to help clear my head."
Shepherd raised an eyebrow, but seemed to accept it.
"How unlike you Blitz. Not afraid to speak your mind."
Theo smiled.
"I learn from the best."
Colleen didn't let her eyes off Theo until the team was dismissed. Something was off about her teammate, but what? She tried to dismiss it, but as she walked down to the kitchen, her ears caught some kind of singing.
"What the heck?", she asked herself.
Carefully, Colleen followed the sound until she got to Blitz's room. The door was open a bit so she peeked in and saw her teammate in his bathrobe vocalizing while he posed like he usually did. Normally, Colleen didn't pay this much mind, but this time Blitz seemed more into it than he usually was. She continued observing as Theo stopped in front of the mirror Blitz often used.
"Do I look good or what?", he asked chuckling.
That chuckling then became a cackle as Colleen saw the reflection in the mirror wasn't Blitz, but a rover resembling a black Lab with glowing white markings across his face and body which made her heart skip a beat.
"Oh my word!"
Theo suddenly looked her way and Colleen knew she was caught. She bolted down the hall and was soon with the others who looked her way a bit confused.
"Colleen you okay?", Exile asked, "You look like you've seen a ghost."
Colleen tried to steady herself, but somehow her words didn't come out right.
"I just thought it was him, cause I heard and… and in the mirror, it.. it wasn't him, but it looked like him."
"Looked like who?"
Colleen tensed as Theo walked out looking curious. Hunter looked Theo's way now more confused than before.
"Blitz, what is Colleen talking about?"
Theo thought fast.
"Obviously the stress of my new persona is getting to her and she clearly misses the way I pursued her so she could have a reason to whack me for intruding."
"That's not what I ment!", Colleen snapped, "Now who are you and what have you done with-"
"Colleen!"
The group paused as Shepherd appeared above them.
"At ease.", he instructed, "It's late and you should be getting back."
The Rovers parted, but as Colleen looked Theo's way, she saw him flash a snide smirk her way. It was almost as if he was mocking her and it made her blood boil all over.
"You're not getting away with this.", she mouthed silently.
"I think I just did.", Theo mouthed back, "Your team thinks you're crazy and I evened up the score between you and Blitz. Ironic, isn't it?"
