'Once I finished and deemed nothing I can learned for now in the College, I applied for a short leave to go adventure outside of the College and the surrounding landscape.'

I walked toward the counter that Urag Gro-Shub, our librarian, always sitting and doing his works. He's the one that handled all the general paper work around the College. I handed him the request form to leave the College so he could register it. After a while, he nodded at me, "Everything's done."

I thanked him and turned around intended to leave. Then I heard him called me, "One moment please Zorah,"

I looked back at him, "Yes Urag, you need anything?"

"I heard before that you've explored The Midden before in order to exterminate the undead for Colette. Did you happened to encounter a round room that hold a strange Daedric gauntlet?", at my confirmed nod, he continued, "There's an incident long before, of 4 missing students that were later found dead in the Midden. The bodies were found together, each suffering the same deformities; peeled and bubbling skin on the arms and face. Conjurer's burn, as it's commonly referred to around the College. There's little doubt they were attempting a summoning ritual well beyond their capabilities. In the middle of the room that the bodies were found is a large, segmented sculpture of a gauntlet, the Daedric sigil for Conjuration emblazoned upon the palm. After many theories, we concluded that it must have something to do with a Dremora, 'cause we can't remove the gauntlet at all, the only thing we could take back is the 4 rings on the gauntlet. As many of the Master and the Archmage here is very busy, we didn't have time to deal with it, and none of the students here is capable enough. So, I consulted with the Archmage and he recommended you to investigated and put an end to whatever's going on with this gauntlet, 'cause I really don't want someone to wander into The Midden and encounter that relic and repeat the tragedy, even with The Midden barred from entering without permission. The Archmage assured me that you're strong and careful enough for this, and already authorized a reward of 3000 Septims for you, if you're able to deal with it. What do you say?"

'Oh yeah, I remember this incident now. The gauntlet back then was used by the 4 students to do some ritual or something, then things went wrong and they summon a Daedra called Velehk Sain. They then somehow used a binding spell to locked up Velehk Sain, but not before he trapped their souls in Oblivion forever. That's why you should not carelessly while doing magic, or have anything to do with Daedra at all.'

Thinking about it for a bit, I agreed, "I think I can help with that. A Daedra below our College is truly dangerous if not deal with carefully."

Urag nodded at me, then took out a small strongbox and unlocked it with his key. He then gave me 4 rings that he talked about before, along with the 'Midden Incident Report'. "Here you go. Even if you're strong, please be careful. Nothing's good come out of dealing with Daedra from my experience."

"Yes, I'll be careful, don't worry. I'll report back as soon as I finished it.", then I bid him goodbye and heading toward the barred door leading to The Midden.

Arrived at the room with the gauntlet relic, I start to prepare my trap. Velehk Sain is a strong Dremora pirate captain. Normally I'd have some difficulty dealing with him, but here I know what will happened when I break the spell and freed him so I have the element of surprise to prepare my battlefield to my advantage. I inscribed 5 Frost Rune right behind the gauntlet, a bit further from the spot that I know he'll appeared from. Rune magic is quite strong, but take a long time to inscribe, take more magicka compare to other spells. It glowed too so it's easy to spot by any intelligence beings and can be set off by anything toss on it, so it's best to be set as a trap and surprise attack around the corner. I called upon my Shehai katana, which appeared in my right hand. It's a Daedra I'm dealing with here so I don't want to take any chance at all. My magicka reserve immediately drop down by half, the other half used to sustain the blade and can't be use for anything else.

Looking back, I've come a long way with my Shehai magic. Before, it took almost all of my reserve to create the katana, and using it for a long time exhausted my quickly. Now I can maintain it all the time if I want to, the toll my body took when using it almost negligible, only when I used any air slash with it. The blade is of a simmering white light, but when imbued with elements, it changed color. I'm imbuing it with lightning right now and the color is of a purple one, crackling with lightning surround it. My plan is simple, Frost Rune to do some damage and slow the Dremora down and hitting it with a Shehai blade imbued with most of Daedra's weakness that is lightning.

I prepare a wind spell on my left hand, then put the 4 rings on the gauntlet and step right behind the gauntlet. Four spectral skulls of the four students appear around the gauntlet as Velehk Sain is summoned.

He took a moment to look around, then focus on my, "Where am I? You! Out with it."

"We're beneath Winterhold College, The Midden." I replied.

"Ah, I was beginning to think the day would never come. So, you broke the binding spell, did you? Matter little. Elf, let make a deal. You release me, and I'll reward you with the location of my treasure chest that I buried nearby long time ago, which held many valuable things inside it that you can't even imagine."

"... How do I know you're not trying to trick me?"

Velehk Sain laughed mockingly at me and pulled out a map, "I have the map to the location right he-"

Right when I see the map appeared, I quickly rush him, palming my left hand and impact square on his chest, knocking him back with my wind magic. He dropped the map that he was holding right into my waiting hand, where I quickly stash it away in my DP. He skidded back right into my 3 Frost Rune trap and it exploded.

"ARGHHH!"

Velehk yelled out in pain and raged at me, "Treacherous elf, I'll kill you and torture your soul for eternity!". He unsheathed his sword and charged at me."

The Frost Rune deal a decent amount of damage to him and he got frostbite, his movement slow down a bit and made it easier for me to parried his sword, but my hand felt tingling. Daedra's strength is truly no joke. I may be skilled in the blade, but neither Breton or Snow Elf's body are made for close combat build compare to other races like Orc or Redguard, especially not Daedra, except for some odd ones like my gramp. I gathered my magicka and touched Velehk with my left hand that now crackled with lightning. To my relief, Velehk shrieked as the lightning enter his system, temporary paralyze him just for a brief moment. It seems he's still subjected to his race's lightning weakness.

Taking advantage of his brief paralyzed moment, I brought my blade up and swept with all my strength toward his neck, imbued almost all of my magicka reserve left, empowering my attack even more. He quickly brought his sword up to block my attack, but the frostbite combined with the paralyze debuff made his movement too slow and his sword cannot stop my attack in time. I was rewarded with a clean cut, Velehk's head lopped off from his body and fell the the ground. No blood spurt out as the wound already cauterized by the high temperature of lightning.

Following his head, his body fell to the ground with a 'thud'. I sighed in relief and canceled my Shehai. Yeah, lucky for me I had the element of surprise and prepare my trap well. It'd be a harder fight for me if Velehk did not let his guard down and fight me with everything he got, after all he's a captain of his own pirate ship in the past, he's a lot stronger than other's average Daedra.

I start looting his body. He got a Hammerfell's garb, a pair of Redguard Boots, a one-handed scimitar, around 300 septims, some jewels and a leather scroll. I unroll the leather and to my surprise and ecstatic, it's a recipe for the Atronach Forge on how to make a Daedric Katana. Daedric and Draconic smithing are considered two of the most difficult branch of smithing. Draconic equipment are hard to forge, but only due to the materials are hard to handle without a skilled blacksmith, not to mention Dragon's bones and scales are almost impossible to comeby nowadays. Daedric, on the other hand, from the materials to the process of forging, even blueprint is not found anywhere. It's safe to say only Daedra know how to forge Daedric equipment, and if any other mortals know how to, I didn't know of.

The recipe written with Daedric letters, so if you don't have knowledge with Daedric letters, you can't read this recipe at all. Not a problem for me though, as I've already memorized all the letters. According to the recipe, I need an Ebony Katana, a Daedra's heart, a filled Black Soul Gem and lastly, a Centurion Dynamo Core that still working. Ebony Katana I can commission the blacksmith to forge. I already have a Daedra's heart, and not just any, it's Velehk's, who is a pretty strong Daedra, which the resulted Katana should be stronger too. For a filled Black Soul Gem, I need to venture and find some Necromancer's lair and hope to be lucky enough to find one. A working Centurion Dynamo Core should be easy, as I know some Dwemer ruin that still had active Centurion roaming about. Anyhow it's not possible to make a Daedric Katana for now.

Stashed the recipe away for now, I pull out my steel tanto and start extracting Velehk's heart. A Daedra's heart is a powerful ingredient and material, not to mention a strong one like Velehk's. Finished everything, I burned Velehk's corpse to crisp, then turn to the gauntlet relic and started pulling out the rings, but to my surprise, the gauntlet can be move. Maybe because the relic was used to trap Velehk's inside, it can't be move before, now it's empty it's possible? Anyhow, I'll leave it here and report back to Urag. The College will take care of this.

"Hey Urag, I finished the request. You were correct when you said it's a ritual related to a Daedra. It was Velehk Sain who were sealed inside the gauntlet relic."

Urag's eyes widen at what I just said, "Wait, did you just say Velehk Sain!? Isn't he that cruel captain who was known as the 'Pirate King of the Abecean'!?". I nodded, "That's him. Don't worry, I've already killed him. He's probably back to the Void."

"We all thought it's just a normal Daedra," Urag sighed in relief, "That's good...". He then grunted, "You're pretty strong huh, to be able to kill Velehk Sain, the 'Pirate King of the Abecean'."

"Thank you. I'd like to think I'm decent in combat, but really, it's because I have the element of surprise there, plus some luck. I already know I was dealing with a Daedra so I took advantage and set up a trap for him."

Urag nodded, "Well in any case, thank you for dealing with that problem. Here's your reward." He handed me 3000 septims.

"Thank you. Also, the relic can be moved now so I think it's prudent to have someone come down, take it back up and put it somewhere safe so no incident occur again.". Urag agreed, "Alright, I'll take to the Archmage about that."

"Well, it's time for me to go. Take care Urag."

Arrived at the base of the College's stair leading to Winterhold, I took out Velehk's map. "Yep, it's still the same spot right below Talos's statue. Let me see if there're any missive worth doing on the Winterhold's bulletin board and I'll just start exploring around Winterhold."

With the plan in mind, I made my way to the bulletin right outside of The Frozen Hearth, the local's inn. On my way there, the citizens of the Hold look at me with weary eyes while the guards narrowed theirs and watching my every steps.

'The Nord truly are weary and skeptical around magic.' I thought and shook my head. Well, no matter. I've already used to all the stares from my past life, being an orphan and street kid, not to mention I have a record on me.

Looking up at the sky, my mind drifted back to my past. As I said before, my orphanage is in a really bad neighborhood. Drugs, thieves and crimes is as normal as daily life. Although not as much, human trafficking is a thing there too. A group of five druggies from another hood thought our orphange is easy target. Two of our kids wander too far outside of the hood and got kidnapped by them. Normally, you'd call the police for that, but kids like us, especially in a hood like that, usually got ignore or the bare minimum of fake promises to look into the kidnap from the authorities, and no one else want to risk their neck for other while they can't even care for themself good enough. I was only fourteen back then, just a scrawny kid, but no one mess with my family. Luckily, I had trained under a retired veteran for sometimes. I always help out people around me whenever I can in exchange for their help to the orphanage in any way they can. The Veteran though, admired me for refuse to be adopted and stay back to help all other kids and the orphanage, teach me how to defense myself. I tracked them back to their hideout and saw that they're preparing to move to another location and contact their customer to sell the kids. With a kitchen knife in my hand, I move stealthily and take them out one by one, until the last 2 guys noticed me and gave me bruised and wound from their own knifes too. I freed the two kids and get back to the orphanage. Somehow, maybe due to someone witness me, a strange kid not from around, going into the hood, the authority suspected that I involved in the murder of 5 people. After a long investigation and people spoken out for me, the Court's verdict is that in my attempt to rescue the two kids, I killed the druggies in self-defense and let me go. Although I was let go, the stigma of being a murderer, even if in self-defense, stuck to me. It worked out for me though, as from then on, those who have bad intention for me and the orphanage leaved us alone, as no one dare to mess with the kid and his family's, a kid that prepare to murder people to keep the one he loved safe. Most people that known me could sympathize with me, but the rest just stared at me with eyes filled with horror, weary as if I can snaped at any moment and murder them. I always heard that the first time someone kill a person, it'll leave them scarred for the rest of their life. Not in my case though. I felt no empathy for scums like that. If you're willing to hurt others, you must prepare to be hurt back. Also no one mess with me or mine. Be kind to people, give them the benefit of doubt, but never forgive someone who's willingly to hurt other for their gain, that's my motto in life.

Shaking my head out of my memory trip, I arrived at the bulletin board. Not not much request here, most of them is to collect foods or goods, deliver letters or items to another place. There's a request to investigate bandit's activity and deal with them up north, near the coast. I took that request and a request for Horker's meat from the inn.

Looking down at my map, I started planning out my move. The map is a very standard paper map of Skyrim nowadays which has all the major cities hold and almost all of the notable smaller village. I marked down most of what locations I can remember on my map, all of which majority locations are of Whiterun Hold, Falkreath Hold, The Reach and Haafingar. I'm not too familiar with Winterhold and I don't think I've ever explored far to the north of Skyrim, so I think I'll first visit Talos's statue to find Velehk's Treasure first, hunting some Horker, clear the bandit camp at the shipwreck and moving on to the far north to see if there's anything worth exploring.

Having a plan now, it's time to head out.

"I knew it. That fucking cheapskate, lying, scamming sonovabitch. Good thing I didn't agreed with him.". I raged and shouted in irritation. The 'treasure chest' of Velehk turn out to be a dud. The grand big chest contained only around 100 septims, some lockpicks, a steel shield and a steel warhammer, that's it and nothing else. "'Valuable things that I can't even imagine' my pretty ass. I knew a Daedra cannot be trusted in any way or form. Good thing I kill that bitch and looted him or I'd make a loss there."

Pick up only septims and left the rest in the chest. Looking at the chest made my blood bloiled again. I telekinesised the chest up and yeet it into the ocean beyond me as far as I can with almost all of my magicka, which is pretty far, and the chest disappeared into the horizon. I sighed, tried to calm myself down.

Well, I already lucked out by Velehk dropped the recipe so it's fine. I started heading north from my location to clear out the shipwreck of bandits.

Upon reaching my desired location, I scouted the shipwreck from faraway. The ship is broken up right in the middle, two half each floating and stuck on some iceburg at the coast, keeping it from sinking into the ocean and linked to each other via a makeshift bridge on the upper deck. On the outside, on a lone iceburg right next to one half of the ship, a tent and a campfire with a bandit sitting next to it to keep warm. There're 4 archers on the deck, a bandit guarding the makeshift stair leading to the upper deck of the ship. I can't see but I'm pretty sure there're some more inside the ship too.

I started buffing myself. Wind spell for mobility, 'Ebony Flesh' to reduce the physical attack. Pulled out my steel katana and prepare to cast ward spell at any moment on the other hand, I start coming toward the half side of the ship that has a stair.

The bandit guarding the stair saw me coming toward and said, "Ohoho, look like we got some fresh meat here". He noticed the curve on me and widen his eyes as he identified me as a woman. He leered at me with lust, then turned his head and shout, "HEY! Someone, get down here and help me capture this bitch. We got ourself a woman.". He then looked back at me, pulled out his mace and shield and started going toward me all the while sneering, "It's been a long time since I had a woman warming my bed. You should surrender now girl. I guarantee you'll feel pleasure that you've never feel before."

Yep, that's scumbag for you alright. "I double your tiny schlong could satisfy me. Go back home to your mom and ask for a jug of milk little boy.", I taunted him and prepare for what came next.

Easy prediction, "You fucking cunt, I'll skin you alive after we're done with you!" roared the bandit and charge at me with his mace and shield out.

"Too slow", I said while dodging to the side his strike, then brought my katana and thrusted it from the bottom of his chin and through the top of his head. I pull out my blade and he gurgled and choked on his blood then fell down to the ground, dead.

Two archers appeared right at the top of the staircase, shouted out for help then brought up their bow and aimed at me. I reacted first and throw my katana and impaled the archer to the left's neck, making him fell out of the stair and into the water. I rushed toward the remaining archer, recalled my blade back with Telekinesis and put up my ward just as the archer fired at me. A *Clang* sounded out as the arrow was block with my ward. My hand tingling a bit and my ward has a crack on it, but it done its job. Ward can block physical attack too, but not as good as blocking spell. With the blade came back to my stretched hand, and with the momentum of the blade comeback, I follow with a side slash and decapitated the archer head.

Finished with the two archers, I look toward the other half of the ship and saw the remaining two archers winding up their bow and waited for me. Crouch down the stair, I used 'Detect Life' spell and I could sense the presence of all the bandits on the ship and their exact location. I found 2 other bandits staying inside the ship below the deck. I rushed right through the door and created an ice wall to block the entrance, just in time as the two bandits came up the stair, both donning a greatsword each.

"Your dead cunt, you hear me? DEAD!", the leading bandit shouted and charged at me while the other bandit follow closely behind him. I noticed, right next to the wall near the stair, there're a couple of barrels and boxes. With 'Telekinesis' I pulled and tossed a boxed right at the leading bandit, making him fell back and collided with the other bandit. Took my chance, I lunged at the two of them and running my blade right through the first bandit's chest, go all the way through the second one too and I kicked both of them down the stair while making two ice spikes at the bottom to impaled them both. I checked, making sure both already dead, then pull my blade out and move back up the stair. Casting 'Detect Life' again, I felt that one archer waiting for me at the other side, the other one moving slowly toward me, both keeping their bow up with arrow notched up.

I dropped my ice wall then charged at the archer that's slowly making his way toward me. Both surprised but still prepared and shot at me. I raised my ward to block the arrow coming from the archer near me. The farther one is easy to dodge so I did that. Not waiting for them to shoot at me again, I closed the distance with my intended target as he's standing on the bridge. he panicked and tried to pull out his dagger, but my blade is already on its way toward and pierced his neck. I pulled my blade out and pierced his heart to make sure he dead, then held onto him like a shield and marching toward the remaining archer. The last archer saw that and just abandoned his bow and unsheathe his sword. Seeing that he chose melee, I dropped the corpse and ran at him. All he did was swinging his sword wildly without knowing what he's doing, I just casually parried a swing of his then lopped off his head.

The last bandit needed to go around to find the stair leading to the upper deck so it's too late for him to help his crew when he finally arrived on the deck. he saw all of his buddies already death, dropping his shortsword, screaming in terror then turn tail and run away. Using my wind magic I made a high jump, pushed myself with the wind and glided toward him. He looked back and up toward me, eyes widen with fear, but it's too late. I already landed on him and pushed him on the ground, turn him around and prepared to run my blade through him.

"P-Please, spare me. I only recently joint, I haven't done anything bad at all!" He begged at me. Now, being a street kid and know my way around the dark environment of society for a time, I know how to read people to a certain extent. I know he's lying. And even if he isn't, he chose this life of a bandit himself. He willingly chose a life to hurt innocents for his gain. I just looked at him coldly, then ran my blade through his neck.

Sitting back up, I wiped my katana off the blood on the bandit's clothes then sheathed it. Going back up to the upper deck and down below through the door, I tried to find anything of value. Going through what I recognized as the captain's quarter, I saw a strongbox. A few hundred septims and some jewel inside, nothing too fancy. There's a bookshelf here and it looked untouched. Guess bandits and literature does not going along with each other. There're some books on it. I'll probably have to had a home or at least a base sometime in the future and want my own library, I collected all the book. I also noticed a note there and perused it:

'Captain Valrus,

The East Empire Company is sending a ship of supplies to Winterhold.

We need you to protect the shipment at all cost. The last shipment we sent out did not arrive at the port and we fear the worst has happened. We have assembled a team of soldiers that shall meet you at the waterfall district in the Imperial city to take to your ship.

Goodluck.

Inecius Vernus, Imperial Council.'

'So, this's a supplies ship for Winterhold, and it somehow got wreck and drifted here. The supplies were probably looted and sold by the bandits, then they made a hideout here' I mused. 'Well, it got nothing to do with me though.'

I then look for the two bandit corpses that I impaled with my ice spike before. The one that wear the best equipment is the most likely one being their boss, so I took off his head, wrapped it with the cloth I tear from another bandit's clothes for the proof to report back.

Looking at the sky, I noticed it's getting dark so I planned to spend the night here inside the captain's quarter, but first I need to remove all the corpses from the ship and clean the blood or some predator will follow the scent and come here. All the corpses I just throw out into the ocean, the fish will take care of them. Then I create water to wash off all the blood stain. In The Elder Scrolls's world, Water Magic is an obscure and little-known form of magic involving the manipulation of water. According to the lore I read back then, water is composed of memory. When a mortal dies, their memories become water, and in this way all the memories of Tamriel's histories are stored within its waters. Little is known of this magic branch. As for me, I can conjure water, but only to drink, clean myself or something similar and nothing else. Speaking of that, I looked down at my robe and saw some blood stained it. Conjured a ball of water, then combined it with wind, I start cleaning my robes and myself with it. After that, with an application of fire magic, I dry myself and my robe and it's done. 'I love my magic', I grinned.

Taking a lift from the deck and down to the campfire, I setup a simple grill, pulled out a venison meat and start grilling it. My DP somehow put a stasis spell onto things that were put inside it, so I can store some fresh supplies and it'll never go bad. Chilled or warmed my drink and kept it there so I always have cold drink is godsent. Pulled out a bottle of beer, I start enjoying my meal under Skyrim's starry sky. Looking up at the sky, my breath was taken away.

Back on Earth, the planet's atmosphere is too polluted to see clearly the star in the sky without some support equipment. You can only appreciate the stars if you go out of your way, outside big city and way farther. Here though, the sky lit up with stars. Secunda and Masser, a big and small moon shining brightly with the aurora light. It looked everything of fantasy, everything that I could ever hope to see with my own eyes in my past life.

After enjoy the scene and cool breeze for a while, I extinguished the fire and go back to the captain's quarter on the ship. I setup some rune trap right outside the door and a bell trap to notify me if someone or something enter. Throwing out the mattress on the bed, I pulled out my own bedroll and a thick blanket. I don't ever want to use something that other already used if I can help it.

Everything done, I climbed on the bed and closed my eyes, hand clutching my katana, prepare to react to anything.

I woke up refreshed, noted that nothing happened at night. The sky is still a bit dark, but that's normal, as I always wake a little bit just before the dawn as my habit. Packing up my bedroll and blanket, I disassembled my rune trap, bell trap and headed down to the camp. Shot a small fireball at the extinguished campfire, I sat down next to it, pulled out half of the venison that I grilled last night and a bottle of 'Soothing Bard's-Throat Tea' and a silver cup. I can drink anyone under the table and still barely feel any effect. Just ask K back in my past life or my gramp in this life and you'll know, but my preferred choice of drink is always tea. I had 10 bottles of it inside my DP, each gives 10 serving. Yeah, I'm crazy about my tea.

Finished my breakfast just in time for sunrise, I headed out to explore up north to see if there's anything there.

Flying up high for a bird eye view to scout the area. There's a mountain with some kind of ruin up there and farther away is a small ice hill with a cave entrance. Beside those too interested location, nothing else except the freezing ocean.

Flied back down, I followed the path of those floating iceburg connected to the two location I just discovered. On the way, a pack of three horkers saw me and started attacking me. I carefully dispatched them with my katana, as using any magic will ruin their meat and I can't complete the request.

Next stop is the cave under the small ice hill. Conjured a candle light for a light source, I went inside the cave slowly with caution. The cave is small, at the end of it is a big space, with 3 cages and a giant Frost Atronach guarding it. Frost Atronach is huge, but it's slow and can only attack in melee range with its hands, Although a hit of its deal quite heavy damage. Its body made of frost so it has a permanent 'Frost Cloak' spell on it, making enemies close to it suffer from frostbite overtime, slowing their speed and action. I sheathed my katana and called upon my Shehai and imbued it with fire element, as Frost Atronach's body is tough and naturally resistance toward physical attack. Good thing that the ring I got as a gift from my goddess not only help me regulated my body temperature to adapt with the weather, but granted me resistance to a certain extend toward frost and fire too. Combine with my heritage as a half Breton half Snow Elf, you could say that I almost immune to frost, decent resistance to other elements and all magic.

Quickly dispatched the Atronach as it melted from my attack, I blocked its frost explosion as it died with my ward spell. I may be almost immune to frost, but I'm not taking any chance.

There's nothing inside the cave, only three skeletons, each inside a cage. Nothing like a note or something for me to know that happened here. As I was about to turn around and exit, I saw in the corner of my eye, under the hay bed of the middle cage, a corner of a book exposed. It's a book called 'Arcane Craftmanship'. Looking through its content, the contents are on how to make element arrows and bolts. It's useless for me, or almost anyone as a mage, but for common folks and soldiers who's not a mage or not proficient with magic, it's a good weapon. Figured this book will fetch quite a price if I sold it to the blacksmith, I pocketed it.

Exiting the cave, I found out there're three more Frost Atronach waiting for me.

"Shit, killing the one inside the cave must trigger a trap to summon three more outside. The three skeletons inside must be a bit important if they take measure this tight. It's a shame there's nothing to tell me who they're or what happened."

As the three Frost Atronach rushing toward me and no way to escape their surrounded, I flied up, once again called upon my Shehai and rained down dozens of flame slash down making short work of them.

Landed back down, I get closed and start extracting the frost salt from them. The frost salt is my favorites ingredient as it can be used to make pretty strong magicka regen potion. Although my magicka regen rate is pretty high, it's crucial to have some potions in case of emergency on hand.

Finished with the cave, I started heading toward the big mountain with the ruin on top that I saw before.

Circled around the mountain, I found a path leading up. Coming up to the mountain top, a vast snow land appeared before me and scattered bones everywhere. A bad feeling rose inside me and, as always, it came true. The bones started to animated into skeleton, with weapon and shield and all of them looked at me, the sound of bone rattling when they moving toward me.

I lured all the skeletons to lined up back in the narrow path leading to mountain, then with an air slash from my Shehai imbued with sun element, I made quick work of them.

It was when I got closer to the small ruin, a rumble sounded out from behind me. I look back and my eyes widen. The bones from the skeletons that I dispatched starting to combine into a giant Bone Colossus. It was huge, easily 9 or 10 feet tall, a bit shorter than a Giant but still tall. It looked like a giant skeleton, with the addition of armor made out of bones and ribs, wrapped around its arms, legs, torso. On each of its shoulders is a smaller skull, right next to its big skeleton head.

It roared at me than started moving toward me. Then it did something that made my eyes almost bulged out, it throw his head a bit back and take a deep breath in, then,

FUS…

'Oh hell no'. That woke me up from my awed at the Bone Colossus. Using a large amount of my magicka reserve, I cast the ward spell, empowered it with dual-cast with both of my hand while jumping back to lessen what's about to come, just as the Bone Colossus finished its sentence,

…RO DAH

It started small from the Bone Colossus's mouth, then a large shockwave traveled quickly toward my position. The Thu'um impacted and shattered my empowered ward spell and throwed me back. Luckily there's a ruin behind me and I impacted a pillar and stopped me from being throw down the mountain. Although I can use wind magic to slow down my descend, but with that height, combine with the speed I was being throwed off I'm pretty sure at the very least I'll be injured with some broken bones.

My quick reflex and reaction lessen the damage quite a bit. I got my wind knocked out of me, the bones in my body rattled as I sliding down from the pillar and fell to my knee, but luckily nothing broken. It still hurt like hell though.

I quickly got up, willing my Shehai to appear and imbued it with sun element, but this time, I made my katana blunt rather than sharp, as skeleton is more susceptible to strike damage rather than slash damage. Thu'um magic is really strong, but it took a long time to fire one again so I took advantage of that and rushed toward the Bone Colossus. It swung its right arm at me seeing I'm delivered myself to it, but its movement is slow. I rolled right next to it and started hacking at its right leg. Its bone durability is much higher than normal skeleton and it took me 3 hits to even cracked it. Being an undead, it does not know pain, it's both an advantage and weakness, more the later in my opinion, as it doesn't care or know about the crack and just raise its right leg to attempted to step on me. The impact made the surrounding tremble a bit and its leg cracked even more. I already moved out of its range while it raising its leg and shot a 'Sun Fire' spell at its leg. I was rewarded with its leg completely shattered and it fell to its knee. I jump high in the air toward it and landed on its back, then restarted my attack on its head. It almost got me a few times, trying to swat at me with its hand so I had to abandoned my position on its back, as I jump and landed right in front of it. I pulled out a magicka regen potion and down it in one gulp, grimaced as my mouth filled with bitter aftertaste. I kept my distance as the Bone Colossus crawled toward me, trying to attack me with its hands. Looking at its eyes, I could see that it's almost finished as the light inside the eyes are dimmed considerably compare to the start. With my magicka slowly refilled up to full, I poured almost all of my remaining into my Shehai and rushing toward it. As it saw I was coming again, it raised both its arms and slammed it. I stopped midway, jumping in the air to avoid its attack and used my last remaining magicka reserve to boosted and propelled myself toward its head, my Shehai enlarged and raised above my head with both hands, I slammed it into its head and shattered it. Its body went limp and started falling apart, signaling its death. I fell to the ground, panting heavily, but took out another magicka regen potion, a health regen and stamina regen potion and down all in one go, eyes looking around and kept my guard up for anything else that might pop up.

After a while, seeing nothing else come up, I sighed in relief, cancelled my Shehai and sat down onto the ground to take a breather.
