(Sector 2814: Earth.)
Just outside the atmosphere of the blue planet a circular green construct before a portal formed within it before out through it flew Jack carrying a green objects with ring like stands on the front and back and a ringed handle on top strapped to his weist. The young Lantern quickly stopped mid flight to look upon his planet. Oa was one thing. But this was his first time getting a good view of his home planet that side. He then looked to his ring and smiled. The world had been opened to him when he met the Autobots. But now, he had the power to stand with them if they needed him. But at least for that moment, he was going to get some rest.
"Arcee? You there?" Jack asked as he spoke in to his ring.
"Jack? How'd you get on to the co... Oh right. Green Lantern ring. What's up?" Arcee asked.
"I'm on my way home. I'd rather not raise any alarms in town so, I'll need you to meet me on the road." Jack requested as he closed in on Earth and began circling to get to Jasper.
"Sure thing, partner. I'm on the road north of town right now. I'll meet you there." Arcee said before she and Jack cut the call. Jack then began to fly lower and lower, making sure that the light from his ring was dimmed in order to avoid the off chance of him being seen by anyone. Soon enough, he caught sight of a certain blue bike with no rider on the road which he quickly closed in on before grabbing on to and landed on before returning to his civilian clothes.
"Judges ruling?" Jack asked with a grin on his face.
"Seven point five. Your form was pretty good. But you were a little bumpy on the landing." Arcee joked back. "So, how was training?" She asked.
"Pretty good. Learned some moves, made some friends, and thought of some good ways to customize my uniform." Jack said as the two of them continued to ride before they got in to town.
A short ride later Jack and Arcee arrived back home and Jack noticed his mom's car.
"Great. I was hoping to get back before she did to avoid getting busted." Jack said as he pulled his garage opener out of his pocket only to be slightly shocked when it didn't work. "Somethings wrong." He said before he raised up his ring hand up to scan the house to find that there were no life signs within. But his mothers car was in driveway.
Jack Quickly used his ring to make a flat construct which slid under the garage door before folding it to allow him to open it. Upon entering the garage, a small device beeped before a voice said "Hello, Jack." making the eyes of the young man go wide before a scowl came to his face.
"Silas." Jack said with pure venom in his voice as Arcee transformed right behind him and tried to contact ther base only to feel a sharp pain in her audio receptors.
"I would suggest your friend not try and contact her comrades unless she wants something to happen to your mother." Silas warned in a smug tone.
"You son of bitch. If you hurt her..." Jack began.
"I wouldn't dream of it. Your mother shall remain in perfect health so long as you do what I ask." Silas said before elaborating what he wanted. "Bring your companion 'Arcee' to the old molding plant one hour south from Jasper. Put simply Jack, it's your guardian or your mother." Silus said before Jack smashed the transmitter.
"Jack." Arcee tried to think of something to say to comfort her partner. But only one thought came to mind. "I'm so sorry. If it weren't for..." She began to say.
"Don't even think about finishing that sentence. None of this is your fault. I chose to join Team Prime and I am proud of that choice. The only person to blame for this is Silas and we're gonna take him down for it." Jack said, gaining a weak smile from Arcee before he took the Lantern shaped device off of his belt and placed his hing to it before both began to glow and he proudly spoke the words "In brightest day. In blackest night. No evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might... beware my power. Green Lantern's light!"
An hour later, Jack and Arcee rode up on the location that Silas had told them about.
"You see anything?" Jack asked, Arcee's more keen sensors even in bike form being ideal for searching out people in the dark.
"That's weird. It doesn't look they have any agents on the perimeter." Arcee stated.
"Silas must be focusing all his attention on capturing you. Hopefully that makes things go smoother for us." Jack said before they rode up to the main building, Arcee transforming once inside, doing her best to avoid activating her weapons.
"Ah. Jack, Arcee. It looks like the two of you have made the right choice." Silus, a man clad in a dark green suit with a grey flat top hair cut and a scar over his nose said with a smug grin.
"Shove it, Silus. Where's June?" Arcee asked.
"Oh, you see. That's the fun part." A female voice said, chills coming to both Jack and Arcee at the sound as the two looked to the ceiling where out of the shadows lowered a female Cybertonian with black armor and gold, purple base metal, a horned helmet, purple eyes, and spider-like legs on her back.
"Airachnid." Arcee growled before the other Cybertronian stuck her to the wall with what could best be described as webs.
"Ah. Ah. I wouldn't do that." Airachid said with a malicious smirk on her face.
"What do you want, Airachnid?" Jack asked doing his best not to start blasting.
"Strait to the point as always, Jack." Airachnid said with a smirk. "It's quite simple. What I want is to play a little game with you while my new friends get to know Arcee. All you have to do is find and rescue your mother within the time limit and the two of you will be free to leave. Better hurry. Clock's ticking." She said, Jack nearly drawing blood from how tightly he was clenching his fists. He then looked to Arcee, the two of them nodding to each other before he left the building with Airachnid climbing out to follow him.
"Ring. Give me a scan of the area. I need to find a DNA signature similar to my own." Jack instructed as he was running.
"One match found. Displaying area map." Jack's ring said showing a circular map appeared with a blinking dot representing where his mother was before he began sprinting.
Within moments he looked up to see June suspended in a casing of Airachnid's webs.
"Mom!" Jack called as he pushed his ring out, forming two constructs. A buzz saw blade that cut June down and a tube for her to slide down and stop just short of him. "You okay?" He asked as he made a construct of a combat knife to cut her free.
"Jack. H-how did... What's going..." June tried to say before Jack grabbed her arms.
"Mom. Focus. You need to get to cover. I'll get you when everything is safe. Go." He said before Airachnid landed in view of the two of them. "Go!" He ordered as June ran to get to cover.
"Well this is quite the plot twist. I've never gotten to have a Green Lantern as a trophy." Airachnid said, practically foaming at the mouth at the prospect.
"Sorry. But you're gonna have to keep waiting." Jack said before his ring glowed and coated him in a black suit with white lines on hie ribs and on the inside of his joints green armor plates over most of his body, white plates over all his joints, a helmet with glowing white visors, and a silver mouth shield, and the Green Lantern symbol formed by two lines and solid a circle in white on his breast plate.
"You get one warning. I've got a fully charged ring and a really bad mood. Leave now." The now fully armored Green Lantern offered, his voice given a distortion thanks to his helmet.
"And pass up on this kind of fun? Not Likely" Airachnid replied before attempting to fire a web at Jack only for him to make a baseball construct to catch the web in midair.
Jack then flew towards the rogue cybertronian while forming a massive morningstar to strike at her only for it to be dodged. Jack then managed to spin in midair and made a construct of a chain link fence to black Airachnid's attempt to stab at him with her pincers. He then pushed her back and to the ground before forming a giant flyswatter only for Airachnid to drill under ground. Jack then flew above the hole to fire and blast in to it before Airchnid shot out of the ground to his left and tried to blast him only for the attack to be stopped by a riot shield construct.
"Okay. I'll give credit where it's due. You are really good with that ring." Airachnid said with a smirk on her face which Jack returned under his helmet.
"Yeah and if you're having this much trouble with me alone..." Jack began to say before Arcee drove out of nowhere and hit the other cybertronian with he back tire before transforming in mid air and landing next to the floating Green Lantern. "Let's see how you deal with both of us." He said, Arcee getting her blades ready to go before Airachnid glanced to the side to see June looking on from her hiding spot in shock at the scene before her.
"As much fun as that sounds, I think I'll wait until I've had a little bit more prep time." Airachnid said, pointing her blaster to her side. Jack moved as fast as he could, to his mother, forming a simple bubble construct around her in order to keep her safe from the blast, this action giving Airachnid enough time in to a stealth helicopter to fly away.
"When did she get an alt mode!?" Arcee asked in rage as she was forced to watch her hated rival escape.
"Silus and his goons must have supplied it for her. Speaking of which, did you manage to catch any of them?" Jack asked as he made his helmet disappear.
"Sorry. Even with your ring, I didn't want to take the risk with Airachnid around. Odd's are, they left the second I got away." Arcee explained.
"Yeah. I get that. Good thing I thought to use my ring to get some footage of Silus before I went looking for my mom." Jack said before his eyes widened upon remembering his mother and floating down to where she was. "Are you okay?" He asked to his still shaken mother.
"Y-yeah. I'm alright. Just uh... one thing." June said before taking a very deep breath. "WHAT!?" She asked in a shout that echoed out for a good distance.
"Yeah. I guess I have a bit of explaining to do. But. We might want to get out of here before that. MECH might have rigged this place to blow." Jack said before looking over to where Arcee was. "You mind? I think flying might be a little too much after all this." He said while scratching the back of his head.
"Good point." Arcee replied with a shrug before she transformed in to he bike form.
"Well, I promised you a ride." Jack said as he made his uniform vanish.
"Oh wow. You are throwing a lot right." June said, her overwhelmed feeling returning to her before she warily got on the back of Arcee.
'Well, you're about to get a bit more thrown at you.' Jack thought before he signaled for Arcee to get moving.
Some time later, Arcee arrived with the Darbys on her back at the Autobot base where a shocked June looked up to see the four other members of the cybertronian team before the young Green Lantern looked back to her and said. "Mom. These are my friends. The Autobots.
