Author's Note: I got the victor's name from Fernwithy's Hunger Games series. Their names are flawless, and I really liked this one.

Notable Tributes

Briseis Matsumura - District 2 Female

Age: 15

Appearance: Brown eyes / Long, straight, black hair / Brown skin / Short and muscular

Placed 2nd / Died in Hour 5 / Choked to death by Rivie Jasso (D4M)

- Born into a south-eastern mining village. Her family ran a mailing outpost, and select members worked in the mines. Briseis was a junior miner when she was reaped.

- She spat in the face of the mayor when she got to the stage.

- On the ride to the Capitol, she openly mocked the country's government and insulted the president, stating that good powers don't force it's civilians to kill each other.

- Dr. Gaul was not impressed by the girl's behaviour, and predicted that her impulsiveness would get her killed quickly. She was half right.

- Briseis bludgeoned several tributes with a mace. By the time there were only two tributes left, the exertion from heaving around her weapon left her weaker than Rivie Jasso.

Reva Phillips - District 3 Female

Age: 17

Appearance: Blue eyes / Short, curly, brown hair / Olive skin / Short and scrawny

Placed 18th / Died in Hour 1 / Throat slit by Jonah Perrot (D7M)

- Raised in western District 3. She came from a big family in the slums, and was used to making the most of every opportunity. For example, she had to sleep on the floor with a bunched-up blanket as a pillow and saw it as an opportunity to 'correct her posture.'

- She and her district partner made poetry on the train to the Capitol to pass the time.

- She pickpocketed a walkie-talkie from a Peacekeeper on her way into the arena. She tuned into games staff frequencies whilst she hid in the stands and used it to avoid other tributes. Unfortunately, the kids from Seven heard the device, and trapped her.

- This was the first instance of a tribute from District 3 utilising other means to gain the advantage in the arena. It would not be the last.

Dove Navarro - District 10 Female

Age: 16

Appearance: Brown eyes / Medium, curly, brown hair / Brown skin / Short and scrawny

Placed 8th / Died in Hour 4 / Hit in the head with a mace by Briseis Matsumura (D2F)

- Born and raised in a northern avian ranch. Her family raised chickens and ducks. Dove made several her pets, and they'd sleep at the foot of her bed.

- Somehow, Dove managed to evade the Peacekeepers as they shoved them onto the train. She rolled beneath the carriage and booked it. The train arrived to the Capitol six hours late because Dove hid in Ten so well.

- She went into the arena with a disadvantage. The Peacekeepers broke her hands and nose upon finding her. When the buzzer rang, she hid in the entrance tunnels as she couldn't climb into the stands.

- When Briseis approached her, Dove shouted contempt for the Capitol. The audio was easily edited out, but plenty of higher ups heard it. President Ravinstill considered punishing her family, but decided a dying chicken farmer's words weren't important enough.

Victor

Rivie Jasso - District 4 Male

Age: 17

Appearance: Brown eyes / Short, curly, brown hair / Brown skin / Tall and stocky

- Grew up in a small village in north-western District 4. He worked in the loading docks from the age of 14, and was a member of his family's trawling boat from the age of 10. His stamina and muscle marked him as the one to beat. The other tributes didn't realize until it was too late.

- Rivie killed three: Mint (11), Jonah (7), and Briseis (2).

- After the games, he married his childhood sweetheart, Laurie Roncalli. Between the seventh and fourteenth games they had six kids, two boys and four girls: Philippa, Waverly, Dannis, Minnow, Llew, and Pele.

- Like the other victors from the first decade, he was given a house retroactively. He became the poster boy for a happy life after the games. He was what winners of the games aspired to be like. His home was filled with laughter and happiness. It lit up the Victors' Village.

- He was a passionate rebel, though he didn't dare express his opinions to protect his family.

- Rivie lived to 60, dying of a stroke two months before the forty-seventh Hunger Games.

- Unlike most of the first-decade victors, Rivie was an involved mentor. He mentored one tribute to victory before retiring as an official mentor.

- He was good friends with victors such as Divine, Secundinus, Tiller, and Mags.
