AN: Here's the next chapter! I admit, I love getting to call some character out.

OceanBlueSeaEyes - Ah! I get it XD I do have a list with most of my ocs on my tumblr, kanzakurawrites, if that helps

Flurry - I did not catch that! Thank you!

The VK's were in an open room, Fairy Godmother at the front with a blackboard.

"Are they in a common area?" Eugene questioned, recognizing the room from his many years visiting Auradon Prep. He looked over at Fairy Godmother, his eyes dark. "You didn't put them in a private room for that class?"

"We didn't think that would be necessary." Fairy Godmother explained. "One classroom for only four students?"

Eugene gestured to the screen, "Everyone who walks through the school doors will see and hear them! You've practically put them on display!"

The VK's watched in fascination as King Eugene argued on their behalf, with many of the royals beginning to back him up.

"How can you expect them to learn anything like that?" Tiana asked, "Especially with the topics at hand!"

"Not to mention, ya don' know if any of them were dangerous!" Merida chimed in. "If they wanted to hurt someone, they could!"

"She's right," Jay said, crossing his arms. He took no offence to being called dangerous. If anything, he was glad that someone was realizing that fact. There were plenty of VK's who would have physically hurt someone by now, had they come in their place. "There's nothing here to stop us. No walls, no guards, nothing."

Belle spoke up, "We'll change the arrangement once we're back," she said, nodding towards Eugene and directing a look to Fairy Godmother. "I'm sure we can find a small classroom for them to use. Or even a private library room?"

There was no space to argue, and Fairy Godmother nodded. "Of course, Your Majesty. I'll make sure its all taken care of before spring break is over."

Fairy Godmother was asking the VK's what they would do if they were handed a crying baby. She gave multiple choices, and brightly called on Evie, who disappointed her by asking for the second option to be repeated. The second option being, lock it in a tower.

"You know, to be fair, if someone were to hand me a crying baby I probably wouldn't think about giving it a bottle." Mason Hood said, directing the looks of horror away from Evie and towards him.

"Yeah, but the obvious choice is the bottle!" Brendan, the son of Big Nose, said in exasperation.

Merida's niece, Lorne, hummed thoughtfully next to the boys. "Maybe to us, but we don't know what the Isle is like. Perhaps they don't know how to take care of a baby. And, if you think about it, bottles probably aren't thrown out much, so its more likely that there are wet nurses instead."

Many of the audience members flinched at the reminder that the Isle got their literal trash.

Mal rolled her eyes at all of it, although she did admit to feeling some warmth at the teens trying to understand Evie's question, "We know how to take care of a baby. And, while its true that we don't have a lot of baby supplies on the Isle, there are bottles. We've managed." Ignoring the few questions being called out, Mal leaned over to Evie. "You good?"

"Yeah," Evie whispered back, unconvincingly. "I just... we were in the open. At the time, I wanted to keep the stupid girl act going." She groaned, "I didn't think that our memories would eventually be shown."

"And what about now?" Mal asked her, "The act?"

Evie lowered her head, and just said, "I don't know."

A ways away, Esmerelda leaned into Phoebus. "How many kids do you think they ended up caring for?" She asked him.

"Probably more than we want to think about." Phoebus told her. His voice lowered so only she could head him, and Esmerelda watched his eyes to to Queen Leah and King Beast, "I'm going to look into the birth records when we get back, and perhaps send a drone or some spies out to the Isle. There's something going on, Es, and I want to figure out what."

The screen showed Mal's drawing of Fairy Godmother's wand as she was called to answer. Which she did, correctly.

"Mal, that drawing is amazing!" Rapunzel praised, surprising the girl. "You're attention to detail! Did you use a reference?"

"Oh, no, I did it from memory." Mal told her.

The Queen's jaw dropped slightly, and her husband began to chuckle. "You only saw the wand once." Rapzunel said in astonishment. "That's incredible."

Mal began to blush, and Elsie leaned forward to tap her shoulder. "Mom might steal you away later," She warned with a teasing grin. "Ruby'll probably join." Mal chuckled, and couldn't help but glance back at the Queen of Corona.

Across the aisle, Belle was whispering to Beast about Mal, as the past-version of the girl answered correctly and her friends praised her for it. "Seems like she's been getting multiple questions right. And without needing to think about them."

Beast didn't answer, only lifting an unamused brow as the scene continued to show the girl telling her friends to pick the one that doesn't sound like any fun.

Belle wasn't convinced, though, and wondered if Mal just meant their parents' definitions of fun. Which then had spiraling into what they did to their children, or made them do, for fun.

Her thoughts were interrupted by Moira, who wasn't letting Mal's words go. "Cursing a baby would be fun to you?" The girl asked in outrage. "No, scratch that, killing a baby would be FUN TO YOU?"

"OF COURSE NOT!" Mal yelled at her, more upset than Belle had seen her so far that day. "But if you hadn't noticed, we grew up on an island of villains! And I wasn't talking about that question anyways." She huffed, "Believe it or not, more of us on the Isle don't try to kill innocent babies." Us, being the VK's, though she wasn't going to say that. And, she could probably add purposefully on there as well. Although, thanks to regular sweeps of the Isle and Harriet's ship, most of the abandoned babies were always able to be saved.

A figure was quickly walking into the room, and Fairy Godmother greeted her daughter sweetly.

"Is anyone else paying attention to the board?" Amir asked, raising his hand and breaking up the giggles, and reprimands, that came from the sight of Jane's old hair. "Did one of you bite someone during class?"

The girls looked at Jay, while Carlos started to laugh. Jay smirked, "I threatened to bite, but didn't go through with it."

Jane, however, wasn't looking at her mother, and was instead looking at the VK's in what seemed like fear.

"Were we really that scary?" Mal asked. She had noticed Jane's nervousness the first time around, but it seemed more pronounced watching it from another perspective.

Jane blushed furiously, "I was more nervous than scared." She said. "And I wasn't scared because you're all from the Isle, it's just that you're intimidating."

"Intimidating?" Carlos repeated with a frown.

"Mal," Jane clarified, not noticing the relief on Carlos' face or the offence on Jay's. "There aren't really other fairies at Auradon Prep, and Mal wasn't trying to hide it or anything." The younger fairy looked over to the faeling. "A lot of people with magic, who happen to have 'unnatural' hair colors, dye their hair to a more 'natural human' color, but you, and Evie for that matter, both wear your colors proudly. I guess I didn't know how to react to that.

Mal and Evie looked at each other in surprise. They had noticed that the few other magicals they met had 'normal hair', and had just assumed that the odd colors were a result of the Isle. It didn't cross their minds that people were dying, or perhaps even spelling, their natural hair to fit in with Auradon human standards.

Queen Leah scoffed, "As if purple and blue can be natural colors."

"Something you want to say about 'unnatural' hair, Queen Leah?" Persephone asked from the front. The old Queen cleared her throat as she was reminded of the many hair colors the Olympians had.

After signing the papers that Jane brought her, Fairy Godmother introduced her daughter to the VK's, despite the girl's protests.

"Oh, Honey." Fairy Godmother turned to her daughter. "I'm sorry, I didn't realize just how uncomfortable you were."

"It's okay Mom, you didn't know." Jane told her.

Jane left the room with a squeak, with Mal watching her for as long as she could.

"That's a plotting look." Aksel said. "Care to share?"

"Not really."

"You know what? That's fair."

Fairy Godmother got them back to the lesson, even more dramatic than she was before, and asked them what they would do with a vial of poison.

"Was the apple necessary?" Snow White asked with a frown. While her step-sister laughed it off, nervously assuring her that it was alright, she didn't like how pointed the question was. Were there more questions like that, directed towards the other VK's?

"It's to help reinforce that what their parents did was wrong!" Fairy Godmother defended.

Her answer didn't appease most of the royals. "That should have been private, one-on-one conversations, then." Jasmine chimed in. "A true conversation, instead of asking them all questions in an open room!"

Evie, Jay, and Carlos all raised their hands high when the last option was given, with Fairy Godmother calling on Jay, who responded with the correct answer. Carlos complained that he was going to say that, and the boys start to rough house.

Aladdin chuckled, the boys reminding him of his own sons.

Fairy Godmother raised her voice, gaining the boys attention,

"How often to you think she has to deal with that?" Mulan asked Shang.

Fairy Godmother overheard, and answered, "They aren't the first ones to act like that inside, and they won't be the last."

and told them that they should take that energy to the tourney field.

Carlos declined, but the next shot showed the boys at the field.

"He's so small," Anita whispered to Roger. Being around all the other boys just highlighted Carlos' size.

In the back, Mirabel was nervously wringing her hands. Carlos reminded her a lot of both Camilo and Bruno, but even smaller. At that moment, the Tourney field didn't seem like the safest place for him.

The coach started to yell out directions, and yelled at Carlos to get off the kill zone, which had the boy confused.

"Didn't you guys explain the game beforehand?" Mal asked Ben, who looked over at Aksel, who suddenly found the floor very interesting.

"We didn't realize they didn't know how to play," Ben sheepishly admitted. "Not until after the first run, and then we just thought maybe you are all more forceful on the Isle."

Mal didn't even fight the groan as she dropped her face into her hands. "We don't even have tourney on the Isle." She whined. "At least Jay was there."

When Ben's expression turned nervous, Mal zeroed in on the screen.

On the field, Jay was knocking everyone out as he made his way to the goal. When he got by Carlos, Carlos started to freak out, eventually dropping to the ground.

"WHAT THE HELL JAY?!" Mal screeched, ignoring the way some of the royals began to cover their kids' ears. "What were you doing?!"

"I got caught up in it all," Jay defended, hands raised. "I'm sorry."

Mal leaned across Evie, grabbing Jay's shirt and pulling him close and dropping her voice, while switching to Greek as an extra insurance that only she and Jay would understand her words. "Do you remember our motto?"

Jay feigned confusion, saying "Rotten-"

"Jay," Mal warned, her eyes flashing a bright green. She was serious. She wanted him to say it.

"Fight for the lost," he said softly. It had been years since she'd last brought it up, but they still tried to live by those words in between the chaos of the Isle. Even if they never, at least until now, said them out loud.

"Protect the found." She finished, "Being in Auradon doesn't change that."

Mal let go of him and straightened back up. Seeing the confusion in Evie's eyes made her realize that she'd have some explaining to do later.

Jay made the shot and began to celebrate, while all the team members were trying to figure out what just happened.

"That kid is brutal." Shang said. "Do you think I can get him to come play on our summer team?"

"No, no, no! He should come play for Agrahbah!" Aladdin protested. "It's his heritage!" Quickly, the men entered an argument, while their wives rolled their eyes.

Aziz moved down closer to the VK's. "You're not going to be able to escape them," He warned with a grin as he slid into the row behind Elsie and Reiner.

Jay grinned back, warmth spreading through his chest at the idea of adults wanting him for something that wasn't stealing... or other unsavory things.

The coach called Jay over and told him that what he saw was raw talent. He then told Jay to come find him later so he could show him a rule book, before welcoming him to the team.

Chuckles were heard from all the Tourney players at Jay's on-screen expression.

"He eventually opened it!" Someone called out.

"Eventually," Another added, "Many bruises later."

At the sight of Carlos, Coach asked if he had ever thought of band. Jay couldn't help but laugh, and Ben stepped forward saying that he'd work with him. The team got ready to run through a game again, and Jay and Chad had a stare off that ended with Jay hitting his shoulder against Chad's as he walked away.

"That hurt," Chad complained to Karine, who rolled her eyes at her brother's whine. He had been quietly muttering things about the VK's to her ever since the beginning of the viewing. "He's pure muscle! And coach has started to put him in even more, despite the fact that he's a newbie!"

"Is that why you don't like him?" Karine asked with a look of disgust, finally getting fed up with hearing Chad's comments. "Because he's fitter than you, and good at tourney?"

Chad sputtered an excuse, but Karine just shook her head. Ever since last summer, her brother had been changing, and not in a good way. Status began to go to his head, and while he once helped those around him, he now acted better than anyone of a 'lower station.'

Without a word, she got up and walked over to the VK's seats, nudging Reiner to make room for her.

Reiner dropped an arm around Karine's shoulders. "I was wondering how long you'd be able to stand him. I've noticed him whispering insults."

"I should have just come over here with you and Elsie in the beginning." Karine huffed.

The scene changed to Ben, Audrey, and Chad all together. Chad spotted Mal and Evie, and pointed to them while telling Ben, "Those kids are trouble."

"Wow, who knew that talking was trouble?" Naomi said sarcastically as she glared at Chad.

"Do you see her locker!" Chad shouted. Naomi just rolled her eyes.

Next to Chad, Kit leaned close. "Those kids aren't doing anything," His dad said quietly. "At least, as far as you knew." He added before Chad could mention the wand. "And yet you were ready to treat them horribly?"

Chad looked away from his father, staying quiet. He was starting to hope that his actions with Evie weren't shown, because it seemed like his dad would take her side.

His mom would definitely take her side.

Ben asked Chad to give them a chance. Audrey then took Ben's hands, telling him that he was too trusting. "I know your mom fell in love with a big, nasty beast who turned out to be a prince. But with my mom, the evil fairy was just the evil fairy. That girl's mother."

Aurora pulled Audrey close, "You will be apologizing to the King and Queen." She told her sternly, "And you'll be adding on to the apology you already owe Mal."

"Mom!" Audrey protested, but Aurora simply held up a finger and shook her head.

"It is not up for debate." She told her daughter. "You're lucky I'm not making you apologize in front of the whole crowd."

"I think you're wrong about them," Ben told her before saying goodbye to the pair.

Belle watched the screen in concern. "Adam, has his relationships with Chad and Audrey always been like that?"

Her husband was also frowning. "I'm... not sure." he admitted. "Ben talks more about Aksel, Elsie and Reiner more than he does about Audrey and Chad." Which, now that he thought of it, wasn't the best thing. Especially considering that Audrey had been predicted to be the next Queen of Auradon. Oh, the mess he was going to have to go through with Queen Leah.

But, Beast glance over at his son, seeing him smile with his friends and whisper something in Mal's ear, making her laugh. He hadn't seen Ben look that happy in a long time. Perhaps, maybe, if it was proven that the VK's weren't evil, maybe them coming over to Auradon hadn't been a horrible thing after all.

As they walked off, he made his way over to Mal and greeted her, then asked how her first day way.

"Super." Mal said sarcastically.

"How was your first day, really?" Ben asked Mal quietly.

Mal leaned her head on his shoulder and sighed. "Not the greatest," She admitted, keeping her voice down so the others wouldn't hear. "Chad and Audrey weren't the only ones acting that way. And I get it, we're the villain kids."

"That shouldn't make a difference."

"It does for some people," Mal said, "And if I really am making some statement by leaving my hair like this, then I guess that probably put a lot of people on edge too. But you know, and don't you dare tell anyone this, seeing you did make my day better."

A smile grew on Ben's face, and he leaned over to place a gentle kiss on Mal's head.

Ben noticed Mal's locker, and asked her about taking that talent into an art class instead, saying that he could sign her up.

"That offer still stands." Ben told Mal.

"And I still say it takes all the fun out of it!"

Mal noticed Jane walking by with a squeak and turned back to Ben, telling him that that would take the fun out of it before she walked away, leaving the Prince leaning against the lockers.

All around the room, sighs were heard as many princesses swooned over Ben.

Mal followed Jane into an empty bathroom. She confirmed Jane's name before saying that she's always love it.

"That's cool," Jane said awkwardly, trying to leave. Mal stopped her.

"Little bit too strong." Carlos commented.

"Kind of already happened." Mal commented back.

"I guess I was just kind of hoping to make a friend." Mal said. "You probably have all the friends you need though, huh?"

Mal's words rang through the room, and plenty of kids looked away. While on screen Mal actually seemed surprised, given that Jane's mother was the Fairy Godmother and headmistress, in reality that had actually made more kids stay away from her.

Ella frowned, "Aren't you and Jane friends?" She asked Chad. To her surprise, Chad seemed uncomfortable with the question, and she was not convinced by his "Yeah, of course we are."

"I mean, not to mention your own, um... personality!"

"That was bad," Jay said. "You're losing your touch."

Mal pouted at his words. "I'm not good with Auradon compliments. They're so different from the Isle compliments."

Aksel looked like he was going to ask about it, but Carlos stopped him. "Trust me, you don't want to know."

Jane said that she'd rather be pretty,

"You are pretty," Carlos said under his breath.

before complimenting Mal's hair.

Reiner noticed Evie's frown, and asked her what was wrong.

Mal was the one to answer with a grin and a cryptic, "You'll see."

Mal told Jane that she had just the thing for that, and opened up her spell book. She searched for a spell, finding the one she wanted. "Beware, forswear, replace the old with brand new hair!"

"Why in the world does Maleficent's spell book have hair spells?" King Naveen asked.

"Disguises." Mal stated, as if that was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Of course. Disguises. Why did I think of that?"

Jane's hair grew into long curls, and she stared at the mirror in amazement.

"Are you happy with your hair, Jane?" Fairy Godmother asked, reaching forward to take her daughter's hand, thinking of that day. She and Jane had had a rare, big, argument over her using magic to change herself, and perhaps she hadn't seen the bigger picture... "Truly happy?"

"Yes," Jane told her. "I really do love it, mom. And Mal said that the spell will wear off once my natural hair reaches this length."

Her mom sighed, but smiled. "Then I guess I'm okay with it. Perhaps I was too stern, it is just hair."

Mal told her that you almost didn't notice her other features anymore.

Guilt flooded Mal's chest as she watched her past self, and saw how the present Jane reacted. Her only focus at that point was the wand, and she didn't care who she had to hurt in the process.

"Jane, I am so sorry." She said, getting up and walking over to the other girl.

Jane looked up, and was shaking her head. "You were... you were just trying to follow your mom's orders." She said, her voice a bit shaky. "I know that now. It's not like you were really insulting me."

"That doesn't excuse anything, especially because you didn't know that." Mal responded, crouching down in front of Jane and taking her hands in her own. "I was trying to latch onto any weakness, any insecurity I could find." She squeezed the younger girl's hands, "What I said wasn't true. You are beautiful, Jane. Inside and out. You always were."

Jane blinked back some tears, "Even with the hideous hair?" She asked, although it came out with a small laugh.

Mal smiled back, "It just needed a little styling."

"Thanks Mal," Jane whispered, leaning forward and hugging the girl.

In the back, Rapunzel whispered to her husband, "Is it wrong that I want to both scold her and hug her?"

Eugene chuckled, "Nah, I do too. But look, she's taking responsibility for her actions."

"She is," Rapunzel agreed, watching the two fairies with a smile.

Jane asked Mal to do her nose, and Mal told her that she can't, and while she's been practicing she can't do any big magic yet.

"Her nose is perfect." Carlos said with a scowl, a little louder than intended, proven by Jane's deep blush and Mal's grin.

"Not like your mom and her wand. I mean, one swoosh from that thing and you could probably have whatever features you wanted."

"Oooh, she's good." Marette murmured to her sisters.

Back at the VK's, despite having watched the apology and knowing why Mal did what she did, Carlos still glared at the girl as she came back.

Jane told her that her mom doesn't use the wand anymore, and that she believes real magic is in the books. History books, not spell books.

"And yet, she still gets to use magic all the time for Beast." Damien grumbled to his sisters. "Same for Merlin." While he wasn't personally big on magic, if there was one thing Damien despised, it was hypocrites.

Mal then asked if Fairy Godmother even loved her, considering that she madeover Cinderella, who wasn't even her real daughter.

Evie grabbed Mal's arm. "That was a low blow." She hissed. "We had to grow up questioning if we were loved or not, and then you went putting that in someone else's head."

"I know, it was a crappy thing to do." Mal told her. She wasn't proud of what she had done. At the time it had seemed like the only option. Not that that made it any better.

"Of course she does!" Jane told her with no hesitation. She then said that it was just tough love, "Work on the inside, not the outside."

Fairy Godmother let out a relieved breath. If there was one thing she never wanted Jane to do, it was doubt her love for her.

"That's the face!" Mal shouted, before telling Jane to act like her heart was about to break. She then demonstrated what to say, pretending to be Jane and asking Fairy Godmother why she couldn't make her beautiful too.

"Yeah, Fairy Godmother is immune to pouts." Karine grumbled. She and Jane had both tried multiple times over their childhood, but it never worked.

Jane asked if Mal really thought that would work, and Mal said of course, because isn't that what 'Old Cindy' did?

"It was a little more complicated then that." Ella whispered to Kit in amusement.

Mal then asked to be invited over if Fairy Godmother did bring out the wand, and Jane happily agreed before saying goodbye to Mal.

"I hate to admit it, but Mal played that really well." Makaria muttered to Herkie. Herkie looked over at her, a frown tugging his lips.

"What do you mean?" He asked, looking at the screen out of the corner of his eys.

His sister gestured vaguely towards Mal. "I mean that. That was some pretty good manipulation, especially considering that she didn't have much prep." Makaria frowned, "Think she learned it from her mom?"

"Probably." Herkie responded. "What do you think is going to happen with Maleficent and the wand plan?"

Makaria eyed Persephone and the Fates. "I don't know, but I have a feeling we're going to find out."

AN: If anyone has certain Disney characters you think might have kids in the universe, or something you think would happen, or want to see play out, let me know! I can't promise anything, but I'm open to suggestion and can see what I can do.
