In an alternate timeline Bardock chooses to enter Kakarot into the same squad as Raditz three months before Bardock's death. This decision will impact Kakarot's journey and will challenge him on what being a "Saiyan" really means. This story will involve slight romance, but the focus will be primarily on how Kakarot changes and how Goku's absence effects the rest of known universe.

Part 3 of my Krillin x 18 fic series "A Stone by Any Other Name."
