Prologue
Shirou POV:
Fire, that was the thing I saw that day, the day where almost all Fuyuki City engulfed in flame.
A fire so big it burned down building and road, till the city itself turn into rubble.
In order to survive that day, I walk through those fire closing my ear tightly pretending not to see that there are people near me crying begging for help.
Those who are trapped under rubble.
Those wounded and unable to walk quick enough.
Those who try to help other people but end up died themselves.
I ignored them every single one of them, in order to survive I kill all of my emotion I became a robot that only know how to walk, until I have no strength left.
That is why that day…
When I first met Kiritsugu, and I see his tear and smile when he saved me.
I was amazed, and thought to myself…

That was the day I decided to become a 'Hero of Justice'.

Today after he begged Kiritsugu, I managed to convince him to teach me Magecraft…
I was lucky enough for him to teach me how to use my Magic Circuit, but he has been really reluctant in teaching me Magecraft for some reason. Luckily today is one of those days he willing to teach me something.
"Shirou, today I will introduce you to a new spell [Projection]." Said Kiritsugu
Hearing this I can't help but slightly excited.
Previously, Kiritsugu had teach me 2 spell [Reinforcement] and [Structural Analysis]. Both are simple spell that according to Kiritsugu anyone can learn, and likely [Projection] are likely to be the same.
Yet, to me who just begin to learn even this make my heart excited.
"What kind of spell is it?" I asked
"I will begin to explain, it—"
According to Kiritsugu, [Projection] are spell mostly used to create an empty copy items, such as knife, spoon, cup, and other small stuff. It mostly, use to create a replacement item for ritual by sorcerer. All in all, it was not exactly a good spell, in term of application, it might be worse than [Reinforcement]. Still, there is no reason not to learn…
"…I see. I think I got it."
"Then, how about you try casting it."
I nodded to Kiritsugu suggestion.
Inside my head I followed step necessary to create something, and the first thing came to my head was a 'sword'. A sword! Yes, a sword that can be used by those hero in legend
…Judging the concept of creation…
My body heat up as my circuit begin to flare up, especially my back for some reason, and at the same time knowledge begin to enter my head.
… Hypothesizing the basic structure…
The ideal shape come to mind is a katana one with purpose to cut.

Material right in order to create this sword we need metal one that transcend mortality itself.
… Imitating the skill of its making…
An ideal sword that forged by a legendary blacksmith.
…Sympathizing with the experience of its growth…
A man dreamed to forge a sword that cut a fate itself.
…Reproducing the accumulated years…
Despite year of effort the smith fails to create the sword he wanted, but he managed to create something he can call his masterpieces.

While it is still imperfect as it can't really cut off anyone from fate or destiny but it can at least sever a cause. The name…

"—!" I noticed that Kiritsugu eye begin to widen in surprise, it was an expression I rarely ever seen for him.
As I casted the spell the sword— No, a copy of a Sword, a sword close to perfection yet deemd failure by it's maker due to accidentaly smithing it into realm of Demon. A sword I have never seen before in my whole life, yet, for some reason I know every single bit of it.
It feels creepy for knowledge like this appeared out of nowhere, but at this time for me the only thing that mattered to me is…
(Ah, finally I manage to grasp something.)
The dream to be a hero of justice.
Kiritsugu has always call it impossible, and deep down I also thought like that, especially for me who run away and abandoning all those people in those flame. However, with this sword maybe just maybe, I can fulfill my dream.

Magic Crest, a set of Magic Circuit, in which during a Magus' life, he/she will forge some to store many, if not all, spells that he learned in life and then pass it down to his successor. It was something originally Magus done in order to pass down their accumulated knowledge to their descendant.
Sengo Muramasa was never a Magus in live, but he was one of the few human lucky enough to own a magic circuit. Through the knowledge he gained from a Magus that he knew, he managed to forge those circuit of him into a Magic Circuit. All to pass down his smithing method to his descendants so that one day, just maybe, his ideal sword will be achieved by his descendant.
Unfortunately for him, his descendants were all less talented than him, and not being proper Magi themselves, they often failed to make use of the knowledge stored, and were only able to pass down the circuit to the next descendants. This is why, despite the long line that has continued for almost 500 years, the Muramasa family remains unknown in the moonlit world.
Yet, now for the first time in 500 years, a boy born with a Sword Origin and Element, a bona fide incarnation of a sword, has been born in his family.
A boy who managed to recreate Murmasa one of the best work on his practice, and has awakened to his 'eyes'
Maybe, just maybe, his long unachievable dream can finally be fulfilled.

Basically my take on What if Shirou descendant of Muramasa and inherit Magic Crest from Muramasa?
As you might guess yes, Shirou will eventually become OP albeit slowly
Anyway down below will be a "spoiler" of Shirou Power up I give him and future of this story if you hate those don't read it

- Shirou will get a slightly better Magic Circuit and added with his Magic Crest his output will be pretty high. Making him a much better master than in Canon. He will have better Reingforcement surpaasing Rin and Luvia, he will be able to go toe to toe with the like of Bazzett with his reincforcement alone.
- He will get blue print of the many blade created by Muramasa and his other ancestors, both good and bad. I will use some other anime swords for this, but I will not pick anything too OP as I can't afford make them better than NP. Also Myoujingiri Muramasa itself already broken, as it can one shot most supernatural creature if it hit, and I will even make it so the sword enhance the wielder body albeit costly.
- Eye of Karma, Shirou will have Pure/Mystic Eye called Eye of Karma which I will mention more next chapter (if I willeven write it). I get that Eye of Karma in FGO is just Muramasa version of Eye of Mind or Clairvoyance. But this is my fanfic and I decide to turn it into Mystic Eyes, it able to see unseen and see the karma of entity the eye see effetively peeking to both the past and futre of those entity. Shirou has control over it and can turn it off and on as he wish.
- There is also Avalon which will not be active for now, but it will in the future.
Also I will write in some character from other Type Moon work from Kara no Kyoukai, Mahou Tsukai no Yoru, Tsukihime, FGO, Lord El-Melloi II Case File, etc.
Albeit I will only take some of them, except Lord El Melloi Case File which confirmed in the same timeline. Maybe also Kara no Kyoukai and Mahou Tsukai no Yoru.
