In a world descending into chaos, a group of people find themselves a place at last. It has been a long time since the world changed for one Dante Di Angelo. 17 years old and for the last two and a half months, a survivor in all the chaos. While on his own he runs into a ragtag group of survivors that take him in, but not without its fair share of drama and hardships. Story begins just after SS:2 kicks off. This picks up right after Season Two. It fills in the gaps between seasons 2 & 3. This is an Alternate Universe where there are mutations, things like Beth being able to share a persons pain with a simple touch, or Carl who can barrow a mutation and so on. Everyone is infected and they have no idea what is in store for them next.

Post 5x08 "Coda". The group deals with the loss of Beth and Daryl is slowly distancing himself. Then one day, the strangest thing happens and his world is turned upside-down. [Coda fix-it fic.
