"Yep, Buddy's from our planet alright and I think he's a runt from what he told me." Ranger told his dad astounding him and Rocket. It was the next morning in the house and Ranger had introduced his new friend whose name was Buddy to them but had promised not to turn the house into a barnyard but Rocket had made calls but Nebula found it sweet that Ranger had a friend that came from Halfworld.
Right now, it was morning and they were hanging out plus Ranger's new friend, Buddy was enjoying pancakes while Ranger was eating his usual big bowl of Coco Pops and coffee but Nebula, Rocket Senior and Rocket were preparing to go about their day making Ranger sigh softky. "You okay, you seem sad for somebody as kind as you, Ranger." he said surprising Ranger at his words. "I just feel left out as my dad and brother are superheroes while I'm just me who's good at growing things." he admitted feeling Buddy hug him.
"Everybody has something special they're good at so don't compare yourself, to others like your brother." he told him.
"You're right but thanks, Buddy for that, I needed to hear that." Ranger told him smiling.
Later, both Rocket and Rocket Senior were smelling something good returning home from a long day of whatever they'd been doing making Buddy and Ranger exchange a grin wearing aprons and goggles making Rocket sense they had made chilli surprising Buddy asking how Rocket knew. "I could smell it, as I've tried making it before but see no chilli on the ceiling." he said confusing Buddy, Ranger and Rocket Senior. "He made a chilli mess in the kitchen of the Avengers Mansion." Nebula said making Rocket's furry cheeks go red.
"Did you really do that, bro plus Bud and me felt like cooking." Ranger told him seeing Rocket and Rocket Senior enjoying chilli and enjoying it filling Ranger with pride sniffling as Bud handed him an napkin as he wiped them away
"Maybe you should use this talent for good use." Rocket Senior told him.
"Thanks guys, and yeah." Ranger murmured feeling Bud squeeze his paw gently. "I told you so." he whispered.
