Chapter 4: Shopping

Exiting the dungeon, Romeo remember that he gained access to something called a Bazaar and he pulls up information for it.

Bazaar: an area where you can trade and buy items to help you on your journey. To enter just get to an open area and hit the bazaar icon, an entrance will show up.

An icon pops up, it has the shape of a shopping stall. Pressing it, a veil materialized in front of Romeo.

Walking through it, he finds himself in a large desert area with some broke down stalls around. He walks to the first stall which was a potion stall with a crude drawing of a boiling pots as the sign. Attending the stall was a lady with long red hair wearing a sleeveless open belly dress and a witch hat. She also has a huge pair of breast and Romeo found her hot he won't lie.

"Hey kid." The lady spoke up, sounding annoyed. "Looking to buy something? If not scram. This is a place of business."

Romeo scared a little, thinking of something to say, until he remembered something.

"Well" he said nervously. "I have some potions ingredients that I'd like to sell if that's ok?"

"Really? Well show me and we'll discuss the price." The lady motioned him over.

"Ok miss-"

"Sylvia." The lady answered. "And you're Romeo"

"How-"

"You're the only player. Now show me what you have." Sylvia yells

"Yes." Romeo rush over.

He pulled out some dungeon goblin ears, some luminous mushrooms, some steel fang wolves' tongue, and some dungeon daisies. All of which he collected from the dungeon.

"It's alright." Sylvia spoke up. "Nothing to write home about. These usually don't worth much but since you're kinda cute, I'll give ya...20,000 jewels, how 'bout that?"

"Um, sure" Romeo accept.

Sylvia smile. They finished the exchange.

"Anything else you need?" Sylvia ask.

"Oh. I'm looking for something that can help me fight better, maybe learn new skills. I'm also looking for some new weapons and to sell some stuff I don't need." Romeo explained.

"Well I don't know about skills and weapons. You'll have to level up to get those stores. But you can try to get something from the accessories stall. That girl should have something useful. Also the pawnshop is over there if you want to sell or buy stuffs. Fair warning though, know your price, that guy will try to scam you." Sylvia suggested.

"Ok. Thank you." Romeo heads off.

At the accessories stall .

It wasn't much, just a stall with a bunch of items on display, though it does have a cute sign with a drawing of a cat in jewelry at the front.

Attending the stall is a girl around Romeo's age who's bored out of her mind. She has pink hair and a pair of cat ears on top of her head. She's dressed in a cute tank top and a mini skirt with her tail extruded down the skirt. She was as flat as Wendy. Romeo thought she was cute.

"A customer, finally." She yells excitedly , seeing Romeo approaching her stall. "And a cute one too." She purred.

Blushing at the compliment, Romeo approach the stall.

"So what can I get you cutie?" She ask. "Or do want to ask me on a date? 'Cause I'm down."

"No." Romeo still blushing. "Also how would I even take you any-never mind. I'm looking for something that could make me fight monster more effectively."

"Well." She smiles. "Here is something that could help you." She pulled up a handful of items.

"Also you just need to level up and you could take me anywhere. The park, the beach, even a private room if you feel daring." She said seductively.

Romeo, now creep out instead of blushing, looks at the items. Using assess, he finds many of the items to be incredibly useful. Two items in particular, caught his attention specifically.

Bracelet of Dawn-A item: increase your damage by 25% and stuns your enemy after 5 consecutive hits.

Rings of the Elements-A item: reduces 40% damage caused by elemental attacks.

"How much for these two items." Romeo asks looking at the girl.

"18,000 jewels in total, but you can buy them half-price if you let me touch those abs." She giggles.

Romeo is creep out even more.

"Appreciate the offer, um?"

"Mia"

"Right, Mia. Anyway I appreciate the offer but I'm fine with paying full price."

"Oh alright." Mia pouts. They finished the exchange then Romeo said good bye, leaving.

"Come back anytime." Mia purred. Romeo just waves back awkwardly.

At the pawnshop.

Similar to the accessories stall, the pawnshop is just stall with a bunch of items on display. It has a sign that says "Richard's pawnshop" at the front.

Attending the stall is a fat man with blonde hair and mustache. He wears typical merchant clothes and has a gun strapped to his side.

The man sees Romeo approaching the stall nervously.

"Oh, welcome customer, there's no reason to be shy." The man welcome.

"Are you Richard?" Romeo asked.

"Indeed I am. And you must be Romeo." Richard greets. "How can I help you?"

"I would like to sell and buy something."

"Of course you do." Richard exclaimed in over the top joy. "What do you have?"

Romeo pulls out a bunch of items from the dungeon. Steel fang wolves' fang(what else did you expect?), daggers that are either broken or still in good condition, rock snakes's skin, fauna rats' fur, etc.

Richard looks over the items.

"Not a lot it seems." He said. "But I suppose you're still just a beginner so it is to be expected."

Romeo felt insulted but decided to let it go.

"I'll pay you 25,000 jewels for all of them, what do you say?" Richard offered.

"...Sure." Romeo agrees

"Excellent. Now what can I get for you?"

"I'm looking for some weapons if possible, preferably a short sword or dagger."

"Well you're in luck." Richard pulls out a short sword. It has a bronze blade that's slightly curved.

"It's a special weapon, it's very expensive but for you I'm willing to sell it for 30,000 jewels."

Romeo uses assess.

A church's sword -B weapons: add 20 damage. 30 if use against undead.

Romeo just stares at Richard blankly.

"You're selling me a B rank weapon for 30,000 jewels." Romeo stated. "I bought two A rank accessories for less than that."

"Are you insinuating something?" Richard growls, grabbing his gun.

Romeo is unfazed.

"I'm just stating what I'm seeing. I use assess and that's what I saw."

Richard suddenly back down.

"We-well, weapons and accessories are different so they sold at different prices you know." Richard stutter.

"Maybe, but that's still a big gap given I've brought two accessories and this is just one weapon." Romeo stated, now annoyed.

"How about 2 swords then?" Richard offered, pulling out another identical short sword.

Assess it, Romeo sees that it's the same as the other sword. Thinking for a bit, Romeo accept the deal.

Once the exchange was done, Romeo left the Bazaar the same way he got in. It was getting late, so he runs to the guild. Everyone was shocked to sense his power difference. "Told ya." Was all he said when asked about it. Everyone was amazed, amongst them was a certain blue hair sky dragon slayer.
