OK, readers. This is the 45th chapter of this story!

Now, we're officially beginning Chapter 5, which will start a little differently than it started in the game, which focused on the diary entries Flavio wrote as well as the ship getting wrecked by Embers.

Instead of the entries, It'll be focused on Andrew and his friends, with the former suddenly falling ill and having to be bedridden for the remainder of the boat trip to Keelhaul Key. That'll be what makes up most of this chapter.

Aside from that, Goombella, Koops, Flurrie, Yoshiam, and Vivian help out since Andrew is sick and will help get their leader and close friend better, with the latter taking an extra step since she's a Shadow Siren, and fully displaying just how protective she has gotten of Andrew.

There's also Bobbery who, as you would expect, would play a minor but important role in regards to Andrew's sickness and that he should just rest up. Flavio will keep the other people entertained since Andrew is sick, with his little 'tale of bravery' story that everyone on the crew seems to hate.

And of course, the ship will stop, get ambushed by Embers, they get shipwrecked, and Andrew and his five friends end up getting away safely with Andrew's backpack going with them. And some other stuff will occur.

How will things go for Andrew exactly, along with his friends? Read and find out now, everyone!

OUT AT SEA - ON THE S.S. FLAVION:

It was quite brisk and comfortable for the crew that was aboard the S.S. Flavion, as the weather was completely clear and sunny. There weren't any rain clouds in sight, as the ship was bound for the island of Keelhaul Key.

Flavio was singing one of his usual pirate songs that involves a boom-bassa-boom festival of some kind, with most of the crew members being forced to listen to it, including Pa-Patch and Four Eyes; the latter of which was scheming ahead of time to himself about how he'll swipe the Sapphire Star from Andrew once he finds it, and then annihilate him and get the other Crystal Stars and the Magical Map.

This would be done just so the X-Nauts can find the remaining one that hasn't been found yet since Grodus already has one of the Crystal Stars in his possession.

Bobbery was making sure the ship stayed on course and didn't shift in any directions that it wasn't supposed to sail in. Needless to say, he lived up to his legendary navigator status since he was doing it professionally.

As for Andrew and his five friends, Goombella, Koops, Flurrie, Yoshiam, and Vivian were waiting by the Captain's Quarters for Andrew to come out.

It was strange. This was their first morning out at sea and their leader and close friend hadn't come out yet. Could it be that he woke up later than usual? Or was there something wrong with him that they had to be notified of along with the crew of the S.S. Flavion?

"Jeepers! What's taking Andrew so long?" Goombella asked, sounding a little impatient. "He knows that we're heading to Keelhaul Key. He 'totally' should've been up by now."

"Ummm...wow," Koops had to scratch his head. "Hope nothing's wrong with him. That wouldn't be good in our hunt for the Crystal Star."

"I daresay, we were up rather late last night while starting our fantastic voyage to Keelhaul Key," Flurrie had to admit. "With all of the salty brutes on here getting smashed on Chuckola Cola and the likes, I could see why our darling Andrew would've offered to turn in early. Although, I do believe that something might be wrong with him since he would've been up and about like the handsome muscular man he is by now!"

"Geez. This stinks! What do you think is bugging Presto!?" Yoshiam had to admit. "He's been through worse before! It's not like him to not be up early and miss out on breakfast!"

"We know, Yoshiam," Goombella deadpanned. "And you 'really' happen to love the Apples and Melons that Flavio loaded up on the cargo too..."

"Hey, guys?" Vivian decided to ask them nervously. "Maybe one of us should check on Andrew, right? I...I think there's something wrong with him..."

"Sure, Vivian," Goombella sighed. "I might as well find out what's keeping him."

With that, Goombella knocked on the door with her helmet-wearing head and then started shouting. "Hey, Andrew! What are you doing in there!?"

She then cleared her throat and asked him in a teasing manner. "Did you forget a pair of boxers for the trip or something?!"

"Ack! I'm coming..." A frail voice was heard on the other side before some coughing was heard.

This was enough to get all five of them concerned. Did Andrew sound different? Was he sick or something? A few moments later, the door to the Captain's Quarters had opened up, and the five friends got a good look for themselves.

It was Andrew, all right. Except, he looked miserable. For one, his skin was paler than usual, his eyes were pretty low drooping, his nose looked red, his mouth was open from the moaning that he was doing, and he had his left hand on his head since he felt like it was spinning. In short, he didn't look good at all.

"Oh... H-Hey guys..." Andrew greeted them weakly, moaning afterwards.

"OMIGOSH! A-Andrew!" Goombella had to yell in concern. "Are you OK!"

"Ack ack ack! No...No Goombella, I'm...ulp... I'm not OK," Andrew admitted sickly. "Oooooooooh..."

"Golly, Andrew... You don't look so good..." Koops had to admit worriedly. "Something wrong?"

"I don't look good at all, Koops," Andrew told him in a frail tone. "Ack cough cough cough... I... I think I'm coming down with something...guys..."

"Oh my, that doesn't seem the least bit good," Flurrie looked at him in a rather worried manner. "Let me check your head, hon."

Flurrie then pressed the back side of her hand onto Andrew's forehead and was shocked when she felt how warm it was.

"Mercy me! Oh my word, I don't believe my eyes! THIS IS 'ABSOLUTELY' HORRENDOUS!" Flurrie yelled in a non-dramatic manner. "His head is burning up! I do believe that he has a fever!"

"What!? No way!" Yoshiam gasped and frowned at this. "Dude! That isn't cool! Having you sick on our trip to Keelhaul Key is a major downer, Presto!"

"I...I know, Yoshiam..." Andrew moaned. "But...I don't know how it happened... I was fine last night...Next thing I know, I'm sick... It stinks... Really..."

"Uhhhh... Andrew?" Vivian had to apologize with a worried expression on her face. "I'm... I'm sorry that you got sick like this..."

"It's OK... Don't worry...ack hack cough... Vivian..." Andrew coughed before insisting. "It's not...your fault...uhhhhhh..."

"Jeepers Andrew... I dunno what to say," Goombella had to frown in concern for her muscular close friend. "It stinks having you sick like this..."

Andrew only nodded as he moaned some more and then coughed again. This was enough to get Flavio's attention as he had to walk down and find out what the commotion was.

"Ah. Forgive me for intervening, but perhaps I must have misheard something in the air," Flavio then had to ask. "Did you fine folks just say that our fellow captain has just caught some kind of illness?"

"Duh! That's what we were talking about!" Goombella sighed. "Andrew here has gotten sick!"

"Oh dear," Flavio had to shake his head. "This will not do! Having our one and only captain sick like this could be treacherous for a good portion of our expedition on Keelhaul Key! Flavio insists that he shall get better sooner than later!"

"Uh, a thousand pardons for a moment, folks," this came from Bobbery as he approached the others. "But I just couldn't help overhearing how our Captain Andrew has caught a rather bad illness, eh?"

"That's right, Admiral Bobbery," Goombella nodded. "And we're wondering if it's serious, or if it's something minor."

"Perhaps I could be of assistance and check him out if it's not a problem," Bobbery offered.

"Sure...Admiral Bobbery," Andrew moaned. "What kind of sickness do I...ack...have?"

Bobbery said nothing as he closely examined Andrew and his posture. He somewhat was able to feel his forehead despite not having arms like most Bob-ombs. After a few minutes, he was finished and had concluded.

"Mhmmm... Ah. I see," Bobbery was convinced. "It's just as I had expected."

"It's nothing terrible...is it, Admiral?" Andrew asked sorely.

"Hogwash, dear boy. It ain't anything more serious than a simple cold," Bobbery informed him. "Though it could quite possibly be that and the results of being seasick. If my experience with sailing the seven seas is correct, any known man who has never had the privilege of riding on boats for perhaps a several-day voyage would most certainly succumb to it."

"Ah! So you wasted Flavio's precious time over a small and measly cold, and seasickness!?" Flavio was not thrilled by that. "This is perhaps a minor inconvenience, for certain! However, I do declare that such instants will not be tolerated on our expedition once we get to Keelhaul Key!"

"Right," Goombella rolled her eyes before facing Bobbery again. "So what d'you suppose we do about Andrew, Mr. Admiral Bobbery, sir?"

"Well my fair lass, I would suggest that our Captain Andrew gets all the sleep he needs," Bobbery suggested. "I would also like to add that he should drink some Tasty Tonic that we just so happen to possess in the cargo hold. And I believe he should eat some Spicy Soup too. Oh, and uh, do make sure that he uses a pack of Ice Storms to bring down his fever, eh? The more you fine folks do for him, the better."

"Wow...Man, you sure know plenty about this stuff, Admiral," Koops had to ask him. "How did you know about this?"

"Well Koops, old boy, I've had several men that have accompanied me on my many sea voyages partake in medical aid and nursing while out at sea," Bobbery confessed. "Of which I, of course, have partaken in a few seasick misfortunes and other similar predicaments. And uh, followed the proper procedure, if you may."

It's also something that I should've done with Scarlette... Bobbery thought sadly, which he kept to himself. That way she wouldn't have perished while I was out at sea...

"Why, I do believe that is a splendid idea," Flurrie beamed joyously. "Very well. We shall give in our efforts to make sure our brave and heroic man Andrew will get all the rest he needs, and he shall be better in no time!"

"Yeah! A little extra sleep and some Tasty Tonic and Spicy Soup oughta do the trick," Yoshiam seemed amused by this. "Then Presto will be up and kicking it again in no time!"

"I do hope Andrew gets better," Vivian frowned as she looked at Andrew sympathetically. "I can't stand seeing Andrew so miserable like this..."

"None of us can," Goombella agreed as she comforted Vivian. "I'm sure he'll be fine, Vivian. Don'tcha worry. So long as he sleeps plenty, drinks some Tasty Tonic, and eats some Spicy Soup, he'll be up and about in no time!"

"I trust you on that, Goombella," Vivian told her. "But I can't help but worry about him..."

"That's fine. And you know why?" Goombella then exclaimed to her. "We're gonna make sure Andrew gets better, and all five of us will be here to help him when he needs it! And we're gonna support him, just like the team that we are!"

"Good idea, Goombella," Koops agreed. "We'll help him get better in no time...I hope..."

"That is a splendid idea," Flurrie added. "We shan't let our darling Andrew down, for we would be devastated if something were to happen to him. That is why we shall aid him in every way we can!"

"Aw yeah! No kidding there!" Yoshiam was eager to help. "Presto is the coolest, and all of us have his back! We'll get him kicking and fighting again in no time, that's for sure!"

"Yeah. I'll be willing to help Andrew too," Vivian spoke up shyly. "And I will do my best to show my support for him and to get him better and happy again."

"That'd be great..." Andrew gave a weak smile. "Some Tasty Tonic and...ack...Spicy Soup would be great...right about now... Along with some extra bedrest too... Thanks, guys..."

"Yes. Yes. We're willing to have you remain bedridden till you feel better," Flavio had to comment. "But in the meantime, with our fair captain sick, who shall be the one to entertain the members of the crew, hmm? Why, the answer is obvious! That would be yours truly! It would be, as you may call? A festive time with my adoring fans!"

It was then Flavio announced loud enough for everyone to hear what he had to say next. "And that means you'll be hearing the likes of Flavio retell his 'own' 'personal' tale of bravery as I had sailed the seven seas and conquered all that stood in my way!"

"Awwwwwwwwwwww..." All of the crew members had to moan in irritation and annoyance at that, as the last thing they wanted was for Flavio to go into details about that again.

"Oy! That'd be just great, Flavio," Pa-Patch had said rather sarcastically. "Nothin' better than 'earing his tales of bravery o'er some Chuckola Cola, eh?"

"Uh, if I may make a suggestion," Four Eyes, of all people, suggested. "I would like to know more about that boom-bassa-boom festival song that he was singing."

"Ah! You like it, yes?" Flavio then declared. "Very well! Flavio shall be honored to sing it however much you want!"

"Nooooooooooooooooooooo!" The rest of the crew yelled in frustration at that.

"You've gone [an'] done it now, Four Eyes," Pa-Patch grumbled at this. "We ain't gonna hear the end [o'] it till we reach Keelhaul Key!"

"Yeah," George T agreed. "I don't know how much more I can take of that song and his tale of bravery..."

"Well, regardless of that, we have a plan," Goombella proclaimed. "Koops, Flurrie, Yoshiam, Vivian, and I will take care of Andrew and make sure he gets better! And don't worry. We're 'totally' gonna get him into tip-top shape again!"

"Good idea... Goombella..." Andrew told her weakly. "I better go...ack cough cough...get some extra sleep..."

"Gotcha, Andrew," Goombella winked at him. "The more sleep you get, the better! And don'tcha worry! One of us will be by later to give you some Tasty Tonic and a fresh bowl of Spicy Soup too! Not to mention a pack of Ice Storms for your head and your fever! Koops, Flurrie, Yoshiam, Vivian, and I will come in every once in a while to check up on you. How does that sound, Andrew?"

"Sounds great..." Andrew nodded slowly while coughing again. "Thank you...guys..."

"Anytime, Andrew," Goombella then encouraged. "Just go back into your bed and get some rest. We're gonna stop at nothing until you get better. That's a promise!"

Andrew said nothing else as he moaned and went back into the bed that he was sleeping on. He was inclined to get some extra sleep so he could feel better from his sickness.

Flavio, Bobbery, and the rest of the S.S. Flavion crew went back to doing their usual things, and Andrew's friends decided to stick around outside of the door to the Captain's Quarters until it came time for Andrew to have some Tasty Tonic and Spicy Soup.

Of course, one of them got an ice pack that was filled up with Ice Storms which they then put onto Andrew's head to fight off the fever as he remained in bed, completely bedridden and sick as a dog.

Despite this, this was going to be a rather unforgettable experience for everyone on their trip to Keelhaul Key. There was no doubt about that...

A couple of days have gone by since then. And Andrew has been given the best nursing care by his five friends, who helped him in whatever way they could while they were on board the S.S. Flavion.

Goombella, of course, was keeping guard of the Captain's Quarters so that no one would bother him while he was sleeping off his sickness. Andrew couldn't have had a better bodyguard while he was sick.

This was because she'd threatened to Headbonk anyone who wasn't one of their friends for trying to bother him. Bobbery, of course, respected the wishes and continued to manhandle the navigation duties of steering the ship to Keelhaul Key.

Of course, there was Koops, Flurrie, Yoshiam, and Vivian, who popped into his room every so often to deliver him his Tasty Tonic, Spicy Soup, the ice pack of Ice Storms, and to make sure that he was OK.

Koops had come into the Captain's Quarters at one point to give Andrew his cup of Tasty Tonic at one point, in which Andrew was grateful for the delivery.

"Hey ummm... Andrew?" Koops had come in with the cup of Tasty Tonic in his hand. "Here's the Tasty Tonic that you're supposed to take. Should help with making you feel better, I hope..."

"Thanks...Koops..." Andrew gladly accepted the Tasty Tonic. "I gladly...hack...appreciate this..."

"Well that's good, I suppose," Koops then rubbed his arm nervously. "Man, you sure are lucky. Having us take care of you like this while you're sick..."

"I guess so..." Andrew moaned as he started drinking the Tasty Tonic.

"You know, I never told you this, but whenever I was sick, Koopie Koo would always try everything she could to make me feel all better," Koops confessed. "She did go a little overboard though, and she was being more motherly to me than usual... But I was still willing to tolerate it..."

"You don't...gulp...say..." Andrew uttered while drinking the Tasty Tonic down.

"Ummm...Yeah. There were especially times when I'd get sick, and Koopie Koo insists that I spend as much time in bed as I can," Koops continued. "And she was willing to clean up, cook, and everything... Man, it sure left me with nothing to do afterwards. But I guess it was for the best. Being sick and all means you shouldn't do much of anything... Know what I mean?"

"Yeah... I...oooh...I know what you mean Koops..." Andrew had just finished his Tasty Tonic and gave the cup back to Koops.

"Done drinking it already?" Koops wondered as Andrew shrugged weakly. "Gee whiz, I could never stand the taste of these things, let alone drink an entire cup. Ummm... How was it, Andrew?"

"Ack! Not exactly...a bed of roses...in my book," Andrew murmured before he started coughing again. "But I know...that it makes me feel...better. So I suck it up and put up with it... Hack cough cough cough cooooough!"

"Golly. You sure are tolerant of a lot of things," Koops had to admit in an admiring tone. "Sure glad that I chose to travel with you..."

"Believe me... I feel...the same way..." Andrew then started yawning. "If you don't mind, Koops...I'd like to get some more sleep..."

"Right. Of course," Koops then took the empty cup and headed for the door. "If you need anything, just holler. One of us should be by to help you if you need it."

"I appreciate that... Thank you..." Andrew said weakly before he ended up falling asleep.

Koops had taken this as his ticket to leave the Captain's Quarters, which he did with the empty cup of Tasty Tonic in his hand as he went elsewhere to drop it off.

Flurrie, meanwhile, had stopped by the Captain's Quarters at another time to give Andrew his Spicy Soup to eat up. Unlike Koops, who had let Andrew drink the Tasty Tonic willingly, Flurrie was certainly insistent that she fed the Spicy Soup to Andrew since she wouldn't stand for seeing Andrew suffer to try to eat it on his own.

Andrew, for his part, was rather flustered by this, as Flurrie was willing to feed it to him when it was just the two of them in the room.

He couldn't tell if the blush he had was from his fever and sickness, or if it was from his rather erotic feelings for Flurrie. Or if it was possibly both.

"Oh, Flurrie... Come...on..." Andrew had moaned. "You don't...have to feed...that to me...hack cough!"

"On the contrary, darling, I'm gonna see to it that you eat all of your Spicy Soup so you'll be back to being your hotshot handsome muscular adventurer that you are," Flurrie insisted. "Now do feel free to hold still so I can feed this Spicy Soup to you. Is that clear, Andrew?"

"Oh...yes...OK..." Andrew murmured weakly as he decided not to resist it as he opened his mouth for her.

Flurrie then scooped some Spicy Soup onto the spoon from the bowl as she pushed the spoon into his mouth, before making sure that he swallowed it. Flurrie had to coo and swoon him to swallow it and she'd make sure that he does.

"Well. That didn't seem so hard to do, now wasn't it, dearie," Flurrie smiled as she placed her hands on her hips, placing the bowl of Spicy Soup on the nearby table with the spoon.

"It's...good..." Andrew's face was pretty red by how seductive Flurrie was being as his nurse, and for how spicy the soup was. "T-Thanks...Flurrie...I 'really' appreciate the efforts...that you're taking to make me...feel better..."

"Anytime, sweetums," Flurrie told him sweetly. "Now let me feed you the rest of this Spicy Soup."

Andrew only nodded as Flurrie did just that. She kept feeding him until it was all gone. Then she made sure that he knew how much he meant to her and that she'd make sure that he got better soon.

"You know Flurrie...hack...You've been a great nurse..." Andrew had to admit. "Really..."

"My, my, it makes my heart flutter to hear you say such a thing, darling," Flurrie then had to admit. "You know, I had happened to star in a few plays and movies where I had played as a nurse who took care of sick patients. But of course, seeing how you're one of my biggest adoring fans, I do believe you knew that one already, correct?"

"Yes...I did..." Andrew had to smile weakly. "Those were...some of my favorite...movies that you starred in..."

"And I was honored with having the privilege of nursing you back to health, dearie," Flurrie swooned before asking. "Now, would you like anything else before I leave you to rest for a bit?"

"No...No I'm all...set," Andrew huffed and coughed. "I'll be fine...Just need to sleep some more..."

"All right then, sweetums," Flurrie grabbed the empty bowl and spoon before she floated towards the door. "Just rest easy for the rest of us. And I daresay that one of us shall come in to check on you later. OK, Mr. Hunky Muscles?"

Andrew nodded as he babbled something incoherent, a sign that he was starting to succumb to sleep. Flurrie winked at him before opening the door and left the room, closing it behind her, and then went elsewhere on the ship to drop off the empty bowl and spoon that once had some Spicy Soup.

Then there was Yoshiam, who had stopped by the Captain's Quarters at one point to drop off a fresh ice pack of Ice Storms, in exchange for the used-up one that Andrew still had.

Of course, Yoshiam found himself delivering it at a bad time when Andrew was going through what appeared to be a fever dream.

And by the looks of it, it sounded like he was suffering from a nightmare too.

Needless to say, Yoshiam was freaked out by it, as by the time he woke Andrew up, he gave him the fresh pack of Ice Storms and took the used one that was filled with water by that point.

Once he was done making sure that Andrew would keep chilling and stay cool while trying to get better, Yoshiam left the Captain's Quarter and wiped his forehead with his right hand.

"Whoa," Yoshiam sighed upon leaving. "Dude nearly spooked me with his nightmare."

"What's up, Yoshiam?" Goombella overheard him as she asked. "What happened with Andrew? Did you give him that fresh pack of Ice Storms?"

"Well yeah. Sure I gave them to him," Yoshiam then admitted. "But it turns out that Presto was having a bad dream when I walked in on him."

"Ah," Goombella then shook her head. "It seems that Andrew was having a fever dream..."

"Yeah. But seriously. That's not all," Yoshiam continued. "Turns out Presto in there was having some kind of a nightmare. And the dude sure did spook me with it."

"What kind of nightmare was he having?" Goombella raised an eyebrow. "D'you recall hearing what he was saying in his sleep?"

"Well, sure I do. But what does that have to do with anything?" Yoshiam shrugged.

"It has to do with everything," Goombella sighed. "Now what was he dreaming about?"

"Well...From what I remember, he was muttering and begging about something whack," Yoshiam tried to remember what it was. "And he also mentioned that Doopliss chump while he was talking in his sleep."

"And?" Goombella queried suspiciously. "Didja hear anything else about what he said in his sleep? I 'totally' should know, Yoshiam."

"Oh yeah! He mentioned our names in his sleep. I dunno the full detail, but I think he was trying to tell us not to leave him," Yoshiam rubbed his chin. "And that he was 'clearly' afraid about how Doopliss stole his friends again. Oh, and he mentioned something whack about how no one would help him this time. Not even Vivian."

"Omigosh... I should've known," Goombella moaned as she shook her head. "I should've expected this."

"Should've expected what?" Yoshiam had to ask.

"From his nightmare alone, it's 'totally' clear that Andrew hasn't fully recovered from the stolen identity crisis he suffered through," Goombella told him.

"Now what kind of crazy talk are you giving me?" Yoshiam couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Sure, Presto is sick now. But he seemed to be in good physical condition before we set out on this trip. He sure looked like he was fit and was able to fight anyone that tried getting in our way."

Goombella had to sigh and roll her eyes. It was clear that Yoshiam didn't get what she was referring to. She had to go into clearer details about it.

"I meant on a mental scale, Yoshiam," Goombella elaborated. "Andrew hasn't fully recovered psychologically from the stolen identity crisis. A part of him hasn't fully recovered mentally, and from his dream alone, he seems scared that we'll all leave him again. He won't admit it when he's awake because, well, y'know? He doesn't want us worrying about him, I guess."

"Whoa. Rats. That sounds messed up," Yoshiam frowned at that. "Sure hate seeing Presto in such a state. It's not cool at all."

"It isn't," Goombella agreed with a frown. "I've seen some of my college friends at the University of Goom have such psychological problems with something. I've read up on some of it, but not all of it. I at least know that Andrew is still suffering from psychological trauma from the stolen identity debacle."

"No kidding," Yoshiam shook his head. "What do you suppose we should do? Can we do anything to help make him feel better? Mentally or however else you put it?"

"Not likely. I don't think we can do anything about that," Goombella sighed. "The most that we can do is continue to give Andrew our support. Let him know that we're here for him until the end, no matter what. We need Andrew to be with us, and he's made it clear that he needs us in his life. So we need to show how much he means to us as we continue to collect the remaining Crystal Stars."

"Good idea, Goombella. I'm all for doing that," it was then Yoshiam decided to ask something else. "Think we should tell Koops, Flurrie, and Vivian about this? After all, they're just as involved with Presto's life as we are."

"Yeah. I'll be sure to tell them," Goombella then smirked in a teasing manner. "Meanwhile, you better dispose of that used-up ice pack. Don't wanna drip water all over the floor, don'tcha think?"

"Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Good idea," Yoshiam had to roll his eyes at this. "I'll be sure to give the drop off of this ice pack to the trash."

"OK. Catch ya in a bit, Yoshiam," Goombella told him in a preppy manner as Yoshiam walked off.

Yoshiam had a smirk of his own once he was away from Goombella. He too, would do everything he can to show that he supports Presto in whatever they do, even after he gets better and can fight again.

On the final night on the S.S. Flavion, right before they would make it to Keelhaul Key first thing in the morning, Andrew was in the Captain's Quarters, still sick while bedridden. He was also feeling absolutely tired.

For the past couple of days, he had been given a fresh pack of Ice Storms, fed some delicious Spicy Soup for his sickness, and had managed to drink down 9 cups of Tasty Tonic in three days while sailing aboard the S.S. Flavion.

He had felt sleep trying to overcome him as he felt yet another cough take over as he had to hack and cough before moaning about it.

"Ooooh... Being sick isn't fun..." Andrew murmured to himself. "I hate being sick..."

"Hey, Andrew? You still feeling sick?" Andrew had heard a familiar female voice asking her, and she was hidden in the shadows.

It was clear who that was, and Andrew recognized it from anywhere. "Come on out Vivian... You can get in here..."

And with that, Vivian materialized from the shadows into the room right in front of the door, as she was shown frowning upon seeing Andrew still in such a sick state.

"I'm...I'm sorry for barging in like this, Andrew," Vivian apologized. "I...I was just worried about you. I know that we aren't supposed to bother you like this. It's just that...I want to see you get better soon, and..."

"Say no more... I understand..." Andrew coughed again. "To tell you the...truth... I was starting to get lonely anyway... I don't enjoy being sick..."

"I can't think of anyone who does want to be sick," Vivian then tried to perk him up. "But, uh, we're supposed to finally reach Keelhaul Key tomorrow. That's good, right?"

"Yeah...I guess so," Andrew moaned. "Sure hope I feel better soon... That way, we can finally work on...hack cough cough cooooough...getting the fifth Crystal Star...The Sapphire Star..."

"Andrew? I want you to know that until you get better," Vivian started before clearing her throat and then came out and told him. "I am willing to stay by your side and make sure that nothing else happens to you. I...I 'really' don't want to see you suffer anymore. So I'd like to stay in here with you until we get to Keelhaul Key."

"Oooh...Vivian? You...hack...don't have to do that for me..." even though Andrew was sick, he still had some modesty in his tone. "I...I should feel better in no time...Besides...I don't wanna infect you with my...cough...illness..."

"Don't worry about me. It's you that I am worried about," Vivian then had to confess something. "To tell you the truth, there was a time when I would get sick, but I'd have to suffer and endure it... Beldam never took care of me when I was sick. She only made me do more work on top of it... I guess I got so used to being sick, that I'm immune to it. Really."

Had Andrew not been sick, he would've had some more bitter thoughts about how Beldam was a horrible person to her. Sadly, he didn't have the energy to think about it right now. Instead, he moaned before coughing again and then said to her.

"Vivian...You don't have to do this..." Andrew murmured weakly.

"Please, Andrew," Vivian had to plead, clasping her gloved fingers together. "I won't make anything worse for you. I promise."

Andrew then let out a yawn and realized that there was no way that Vivian was going to leave his sight. She was bent on keeping him safe from anything. And there was no way to avoid it.

"Well, thank you...Vivian," Andrew yawned in exhaustion. "I...appreciate it..."

"Of course, Andrew," Vivian said happily. "You seem a little sleepy. I mean, you've had 9 cups of Tasty Tonic within three days. That's enough to make anyone want to be knocked out cold, even if it was me."

"No kidding," Andrew gave her a tired smile before his eyelids started drooping. "Sure glad to have...friends like you guys...around to help me...when I need it...uhhhh..."

"Anytime Andrew. We care about you," Vivian told him honestly. "And we're here to help you, no matter what."

"Mhmmm... Mhmmm... Hmmm..." Andrew murmured as he felt himself being overtaken by the desire to sleep.

Vivian said nothing else as she watched the young muscular man fall asleep. He was snoring loudly, showing that he was knocked out cold. Vivian sighed at this and hoped that the next time he wakes up, he'll be feeling good as new and he'll no longer be feeling sick as a dog.

Andrew, I will protect you from anything that tries to hurt you... Vivian thought in a rather determined manner. I promise that I'll keep you safe, no matter what...

With that, Vivian stayed silent as she slumped down near the edge of the bed she occasionally would see Andrew snoozing away peacefully, not even waking up to the slightest sound of a pin dropping, which was satisfying to the Shadow Siren.

Meanwhile, Goombella was roaming around, looking for someone when she saw Koops and Yoshiam nearby talking about something. Seeing that they might know what she wanted to know, Goombella ran over to them to ask them about it.

"Hey, Koops? Yoshiam?" She got their attention as she caught her breath. "Have any of you two seen Vivian anywhere? I can't seem to find her!"

"Beats me," Yoshiam shrugged. "I don't know where she disappeared to."

"Oh, ummm...I think she said something about wanting to see Andrew earlier," Koops confessed. "So I think maybe she might've gone into the Captain's Quarter to keep him company for a bit..."

"Say WHAT!? Is she nuts!?" Goombella yelped at his. "What if Andrew infects her with his sickness? She'll be the next one to get sick!"

"Gee whiz... She didn't seem to make a big deal out of it," Koops said. "Sure sounded like she wanted to help Andrew however way she could..."

"I happen to concur with what Koops is saying," Flurrie was heard talking as she floated over to where they were. "Besides, as I recall, Vivian had told me earlier that she's pretty much immune to sicknesses like what our poor sick Andrew is facing. It seems that her sister Beldam never took proper care and assurance in making sure Vivian was able to recover from any sicknesses that she may've been infected by in the past."

"Jeepers. Guess that makes sense now that I think of it," Goombella sighed. "I have no doubts that Vivian feels very close to Andrew because of that."

"Hey, there's something else I've noticed, now that I think of it," Yoshiam decided to comment. "Have any of you noticed how close Presto and Vivian have been lately? Call me crazy, but the way they spend time together shows that they're close."

"That's because they've grown fond of each other. And I understand how it happened," Goombella explained. "When Andrew's name and body were stolen by Doopliss, this left him all alone with no one to comfort him. Vivian was also suffering from the abuse Beldam gave to her. Andrew and Vivian found comfort in each other when they were suffering. Even after Andrew regained his identity, he and Vivian continued to be close. And it shows how protective she's been with Andrew. He was the first person to have been nice to her. She suffers from an inferior complex."

Goombella then had to ask Koops. "You remember how Beldam treated Vivian in such a horrible manner in the Boggly Woods, right Koops?"

"Yeah. I remember that," Koops nodded. "I think it's cool to see Andrew and Vivian grow closer together like this. Sure seems nice from what I've seen..."

"I daresay that it is rather sweet and heartfelt for those two have grown ever so close together," Flurrie had to admit. "I do believe that those two had made quite a team when our darling Andrew had his name and body stolen by that foul cad Doopliss."

"No kidding. I'm cool with it," Yoshiam proclaimed. "Besides, Presto treats all of us with the utmost respect. He treats us like we're a part of our team, and that's the coolest thing that I can think of when it comes to that dude."

"Same here," Goombella beamed in agreement. "He makes sure that none of us feel left out in any situation. That's what makes him so great."

"I am more than willing to concur with you there, Goombella," Flurrie smiled at that.

"Yeah... Me too..." Koops agreed with that. "That's why Andrew is the man, after all..."

Goombella then sighed as she said. "In any case, I guess we can let Vivian keep Andrew company for now. But we should check on them right before we turn in for the night. Tomorrow will be the day that we finally reach Keelhaul Key."

"Aw yeah! This'll be awesome!" Yoshiam had to cheer excitedly. "We'll explore Keelhaul Key, find plenty of fresh fruits to eat, find this Cortez, kick his butt, and claim the fifth Crystal Star!"

"Exactly," Goombella nodded. "For now, let's enjoy the rest of the night outside before we check on them and then turn in."

Koops, Flurrie, and Yoshiam nodded at that as they overheard Flavio singing that boom-bassa-boom festival song again for everyone on the crew to hear.

As soon as Flavio was done, he saw something in the distance. It was a nearby island. There was no doubt about it. It was Keelhaul Key, just within his reach. Flavio was so transfixed with anticipation, that he could already feel the sensation of romance, thrills, emotions, and money from this little expedition that they're gonna go on once they reached the shores of Keelhaul Key.

"Yes, now we are talking! Flavio told you, did he not? Nothing to fear, no!" Flavio declared, pointing to the island that was just ahead of them. "The island is right before our eyes! Do you not see it? It is a mountain of treasure! Oh ho ho! I feel fabulous!"

It was then Flavio decided to go into his tale of bravery for the umpteenth time to celebrate the fact that they were gonna make it. "Shall I tell you one of my many tales of raw bravery? No, it is no trouble at all! There I was, locked in deadly combat with a sea serpent..."

And with that, he started going off on it again, getting the rest of the crew members to groan at this, except for Four Eyes, who was thinking about something else. Pa-Patch, in particular, was quick to point out his annoyance with this.

"Great. He's started again," Pa-Patch griped at this. "A 'tale of bravery', right? This is the 30th time he's gone off [an'] told it to us."

The rest of the crew members agreed, including Bobbery, who was making sure the ship remained on course for Keelhaul Key, and that they would prepare to make land and disembark upon reaching the island.

"There's nowhere to escape to... None [o]' us are sick like ol' Captain 'Uscles. We just have to listen until he's finished..." Pa-Patch shook his head as if he was suffering from a headache from this. "Yeah, if you interrupt him midstory, he 'absolutely' loses it, too..."

Unfortunately, everyone on the S.S. Flavion was about to be in for a shocking, horrifying, and terrifying surprise that would affect EVERYONE that was aboard the ship. Except for Andrew, who was out cold, there would be panic from just about everyone present on the ship.

The first thing that happened was that the ship came to a sudden and abrupt halt. It was no longer moving. Pa-Patch was the first to notice when he stopped feeling that ocean breeze that came from the boat moving across the water.

"...Uh, why is the... What?" Pa-Patch blinked his one viewable eye before wincing. "Wait, what's going on here? The ship's stopping."

Willing to take a risk just this once, Pa-Patch cleared his throat and interrupted Flavio's so-called tale of bravery.

"Oy! Master Flavio!" Pa-Patch bellowed towards him. "Awful sorry to interrupt that wicked story... But the ship's stopped..."

Just being interrupted was enough for Flavio to stop and glare daggers at Pa-Patch. He didn't like being interrupted like this, as he then sneered at him.

"Ah? Stopped, you say to me, after interrupting a story of passion and fury?" Flavio growled at him. "Well, it is your job to keep the ship moving, yes? Hmm? So take care of it!"

"Oh, aye aye, Flavio!" Pa-Patch huffed. "I'll get on it, right quick! Wait a tick!"

From there, Pa-Patch slowly climbed up to the crow's nest of the ship to see what it was that got the ship to stop moving, unaware of the shocking horror that he'd end up seeing for himself.

Meanwhile, in the Captain's Quarters, Vivian had shot her head up upon noticing that the boat had stopped moving.

"That's odd," Vivian said softly. "The boat has stopped. I wonder why..."

She then turned and saw that Andrew was still out cold. He wouldn't be able to notice anything that could happen next. Seeing that this came as a concern for the Shadow Siren, Vivian decided to check in with the others who were also traveling with Andrew.

Don't worry, Andrew. I'm only going to leave for a minute. Vivian thought as she stood back up. I will come back for you. I promise.

And with that, Vivian went into the shadows to regroup with the others that were outside on the ship, wondering what was going on that caused the ship to stop moving.

"Omigosh... What the heck is happening..." Goombella had to comment on how they suddenly stopped. "The ship 'totally' stopped! What is going on!"

"Ummm... This is freaking me out..." Koops had his hands on his head. "I get the feeling that something bad is going to happen soon..."

"By the stars! I do believe that the ship has stopped moving! What an unexpected twist this turned out to be!" Flurrie yelled dramatically. "But why ever would the boat stop moving all of a sudden? I must know for sure!"

"Yeah. This is wigging me out," Yoshiam admitted before he bellowed. "All right, whoever stopped the boat! Show yourself! COME OUT HERE RIGHT NOW SO I CAN POUND YOU!"

"Yoshiam! Yelling at whatever is causing this is not gonna help!" Goombella told him. "Still... I'm getting worried too... Is Koops onto something when he says something bad will happen?"

"Hey, guys?" Vivian's shy voice came out of nowhere as she emerged from the shadows right next to them. "Have you guys noticed the ship had stopped moving?"

"You're not the first to know," Goombella moaned. "We're still wondering what caused the ship to stop..."

"Yeah..." Koops started shivering. "I'm starting to get the chills just from thinking about it..."

"Same here, man," Yoshiam agreed. "This is not cool!"

"Whoever may it be that's responsible for this unexpected change in our plans to get to Keelhaul Key?" Flurrie had to ask.

"Goombella? What's happening?" Vivian asked her in concern.

"Uhhh, guys," Goombella spoke up, feeling a rather eerie spooky air surrounding them. "I think we're about to find out what is causing all of this..."

By now, Pa-Patch had made it to the top of the crow's nest as he was looking back and forth in both directions to see what it was that was causing the boat to stop moving. When he was staring off to the east, something appeared behind him.

It was a blue-colored flame with yellow eyes. This creature was known as an Ember, as this particular Ember managed to tap Pa-Patch on the shoulder. This caused Pa-Patch to react in annoyance as he responded on the spot.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm workin' on it!" Pa-Patch grumbled. "Just wait a Goomba-stompin' moment, ya scallywags..."

Pa-Patch turned around to see who was poking him in the back. But when he turned around, the Ember was gone. Pa-Patch was then confused. Surely this wasn't just some ordinary prank that was being pulled on him, was it?

At that moment, the sky suddenly grew darker, as the crescent moon and its surrounding stars were now covered by a group of thick-looking gray clouds. This either meant that a massive thunderstorm was occurring, or it was some kind of omen.

Pa-Patch turned around and looked towards the east when the same Ember reappeared behind him. Pa-Patch was growing more and more annoyed by this, as his patience had reached his limit.

"OY! Quit shovin', eh?! I'm workin' over 'ere!" Pa-Patch then suddenly bellowed in aggravation. "I said QUIT SHOVIN'!"

He then turns around. The Ember didn't disappear that time as Pa-Patch found himself coming face to face with the flame ghost. Immediately afterwards, Pa-Patch's frustration was abruptly replaced with fright and panic. He then reacted on the spot.

"Uh...AARGH!" Pa-Patch ran around in circles on the crow's nest in a frantic manner before he climbed back down as fast as he could and had to warn everyone of the impending danger that was before them.

"...Th-Th-They're 'ere!" Pa-Patch warned them with so much fear.

Flavio was confused. Exactly what was it that Pa-Patch was referring to? Who was here? And why does he look like he's having a panic attack?

"What is this ruckus, now? Who is here?" Flavio scratched his head. "Will someone tell me what is going on?"

In a matter of seconds, a whole bunch of Embers appeared out of nowhere as they had the ship surrounded.

"...OoOoOoOoOooOooOoOoOoOoOo...oOoOoOoOooOooOoOoOoOoO..." A rather ominous moan was heard bellowing throughout the area, and everyone except Andrew had heard it.

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" This was the cue for everyone on the ship besides Andrew and Flavio, the former was still out cold and the latter tried his best to remain brave, to no avail.

Then there was Four Eyes, who looked like he was trying to get everyone to remain calm, with no success on his part either.

"N-N-No... They're upon us... The p-p-p-pirate...GHOSTS!" Pa-Patch stuttered and howled fearfully. "All [them] rumors were true!"

"OMIGOSH! AAAAHHHHH!" Goombella shrieked in fright. "These are Embers! And they're trying to attack the ship!"

"E-Eek!" Koops squealed as an Ember popped up right in front of him. He then went into his shell and spun in place to drive it away.

"By the stars! Could these be the pirate ghosts that serve that Cortez fellow?" Flurrie had to ask in fright.

"I-I think so," Goombella had so much trouble keeping calm when she saw the Ember wrecking the ship and making holes in parts of it. "JEEPERS! THEY'RE SHIPWRECKING US!"

This was enough for Vivian to gasp in fright about Andrew and his well-being as she went into the shadows and went to the Captain's Quarters to save Andrew from something horrible.

"WHOA! THAT AIN'T COOL!" Yoshiam bellowed before putting up his fists, preparing to fight them off. "I ain't afraid of you dweebs! Bring it on!"

Then by 'natural' instinct, Yoshiam launched his tongue at one of them before flinging it into another via Gulp. He then summoned three Mini-Eggs which he threw at a couple of other Embers.

All three of them made contact as those three Embers fizzed out. Only to be replaced by more Embers, which had them 'completely' surrounded. They were outnumbered.

"Drats! There's too many of them!" Yoshiam yelled. "We'll never fight them off this way!"

"Whuh... Uh... What do we do?" Pa-Patch asked before he declared exactly what they should do. "We gotta get outta here! AAAAAAAAAAIGH!"

"Pa-Patch is right! We 'totally' have to get out of here safely!" Goombella agreed before she remembered something. "OMIGOSH! I CAN'T POSSIBLY FORGET ABOUT THAT!"

With that, Goombella ran off as fast as she could, which got Koops, Flurrie, and Yoshiam confused. They had no idea what she was running off like that for.

Fortunately, they got their answer as Goombella was then shown heading back over to them, dragging a backpack behind her with her mouth. It was Andrew's backpack, and she was destined to save his stuff with them.

"Guys! We're gonna have to make sure we bring this backpack with us before we evacuate the ship!" Goombella declared. "This is Andrew's backpack! He'll be devastated if something happens to it!"

"OH MY WORD! I simply must agree with you there, Goombella," Flurrie declared before she noticed something. "MERCY ME! We have to save that handsome darling Andrew too!"

"Hey," Yoshiam wondered casually, not caring about the Embers who were trying to burn the ship down. "Where did Vivian disappear to?"

"Wow. She was here a second ago," Koops scratched his head. "Where did she go?"

"I'm right here," Vivian said as she emerged from the shadows, with a knocked-out Andrew in her arms for safekeeping. "And I have Andrew here with me. He's out cold, so he's not awake to witness what's going on."

"Seriously? He's sleeping through all of this?" Goombella blinked. "Wowsers. I wish I could be knocked out right now so I don't have to witness the chaos going on around us!"

"D-D-Do not panic yourselves! This is just a dream...that we are all having...awake!" Flavio tried denying that this was happening as he was slowly falling into a panic. "N-N-Now... Q-Q-Quickly... M-M-Move the b-boat..."

"...OoOoOoOoOooOooOoOoOoOoOo...oOoOoOoOooOooOoOoOoOoO..." That same ominous moan was heard again, which got everyone on edge as an Ember suddenly appeared in front of Flavio.

"Oh...ghostly oohing thing!" Flavio panicked. "Are you...really...the savage pirate king?"

It was then he buckled down. He could deny it no longer. This was all 'really' happening. In the flesh. Right in front of him.

With that, Flavio's face turned completely blue as he shrieked like a girl.

"AIIIIYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Flavio squealed in fright and hysterics. "HEEEEELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

"WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE, 'TOTALLY'!" Goombella panicked. "One of us has to carry Andrew's backpack with us!"

"I'll be more than honored to carry Andrew's backpack for him," Flurrie volunteered as she went ahead and put the backpack onto her back, both straps around both of her arms.

"Excellent! Flurrie, can you be sure to carry me off of this ship?" Goombella asked.

"Of course, Goombella dearie. I'll be glad to give you a lift out of here!" Flurrie nodded as she lowered herself and allowed Goombella to jump right onto her.

She was seated right on top of Andrew's backpack, which she made sure that she didn't fall off.

"Wait! If Flurrie here is carrying you and that backpack, Goombella," Yoshiam had to point out. "Who will be able to carry Presto to safety!?"

"I'll do it," Vivian offered with a determined nod, still carrying the man in her arms as she held him tight and close to her chest. "I promise that I'm gonna protect Andrew. And I'm NOT gonna fail him!"

"Wait ummm... how will I get out of here?" Koops wondered in concern. "I can't fly out of here... What should I do?"

"You're a Koopa. I think Koopas are capable of swimming," Goombella proclaimed. "Can you swim?"

"Not really. I've never been able to swim..." Koops frowned before coming up with an idea of his own. "Though I suppose I can go into my shell and hopefully float off and make it to land where you guys will end up..."

"I suppose that you can do that," Goombella sighed. "Now what about Yoshiam? How will he get out of here?"

"Don't worry about me, Goombella," Yoshiam said confidently as he walked over to Koops, arm around his shell. "I'll simply hitch a ride with Koops here. He'll make sure I get to land safely, won't you?"

"Sure. OK, Yoshiam," Koops nodded. "I'll be happy to do that."

"Guys? We better get out of here! Look at what's happening to the boat!" Goombella then motioned them to the damages that the boat was sustaining.

It was then Four Eyes started yelling to get everyone to remain calm and not panic about this, even though he was having zero success with doing so.

"Buck up, now, everyone! Remain civilized!" Four Eyes commanded. "Relax! Don't panic!"

It was evident that no one was listening to him. Four Eyes then cleared his throat and tried again.

"Relax, relax, relax, I say! You must simply take it easy! Er...what?" It was then Four Eyes felt one of the Embers knocked him over. "WAAAAAAAAAARGH!"

At that moment, Admiral Bobbery felt tremendous pressure from all the Embers that were attacking the ship that he found himself being thrown overboard, with Goombella, Koops, Flurrie, Yoshiam, and Vivian taking notice of this.

"Omigosh! Bobbery just went overboard!" Goombella yelled.

"I think it's hard not to notice THAT Goombella!" Yoshiam had to retort.

"Excuse me! Listen, everyone! If we could form an orderly line without shoving..." Four Eyes tried to get their attention at this. "Forget that! Make a path!"

At that moment, Four Eyes found himself being thrown overboard as well, joining Bobbery afterwards. It was then George T. went overboard too and joined Bobbery and Four Eyes as they floated off.

"Bobbery! Look alive, man! AIIIYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Flavio screamed hysterically, as he knew what this meant. "We must get out of here! ABANDON SHIIIIIIIIP! Every rich, marvelous merchant for himself!"

As soon as Flavio jumped down from the bow of the ship, the S.S. Flavio then started sinking. This was their cue for Andrew's friends to make their getaway.

"LET'S GET OUT OF HERE!" Goombella screamed.

Koops, Flurrie, Yoshiam, and Vivian all nodded as Flurrie started floating off with Andrew's backpack and Goombella on her back while Vivian departed into the shadows, carrying a knocked-out Andrew to safety.

Meanwhile, Koops went into his shell while Yoshiam went over and held onto him as everyone on the ship went into the ocean along with all the debris, cargo, and flotsam that was the S.S. Flavion.

Everyone in the crew that wasn't Bobbery, George T, or Four Eyes had to use some of the debris as a liferaft to get themselves to swim to dry land onto Keelhaul Key, while Yoshiam got on top of Koops's shell, who was now floating in the water like a buoy and started kicking the water to get himself and Koops moving to the dry land ahead of them that was Keelhaul Key.

This whole trip went from bad to worse when Embers who possibly served the pirate king Cortez ambushed and shipwrecked the crew, causing them to get stranded on Keelhaul Key.

As if their captain Andrew falling sick wasn't bad enough, now they lost their only transportation to get them back to Rogueport. Which meant that they were now stranded.

Needless to say, this was only the beginning of the six traveler's adventure to Keelhaul Key. And Andrew was gonna be in for a surprise once he finally wakes up and finds out what happened to the S.S. Flavion.

But regardless, Andrew will come up with something after he obtains the Sapphire Star. That was a given...

END OF CHAPTER 45...

Yeah. That's it for this chapter. I do hope you enjoyed it, even with what I added to it to make it interesting.

Now, I thought that having Andrew get sick was a good idea, and having it happen on a boat heading to Keelhaul Key was a great way of doing it while allowing the plot to move forward. I hope this was something that no one had a problem with, especially since I doubt anyone else has done something like this in an adaptation of the game.

Also, the nightmare part that Yoshiam explained to Goombella about, is in fact, related to what happened to him in the second half of Chapter 4. This is to show that it scarred him more personally than one would imagine and that he hasn't fully recovered from the ordeal, psychologically. Despite this, Andrew will keep pushing forward and work to do the right thing no matter what.

And Goombella's explanation of Andrew and Vivian's chemistry is true. Both of them were suffering at a certain point where they only had each other for comfort. Because Vivian helped Andrew regain his confidence by getting his name and body back, and Andrew was the first person to be nice to Vivian, I think this makes sense.

Lastly, I thought the way that they all escaped was well written since it shows that not only are all of Andrew's friends willing to work together to get out of situations. They're also shown to have each others' backs and will aid one another whenever it's necessary. This will especially be shown when Andrew fully appreciates the support all of his traveling friends give to him, including the remaining two who are yet to join him.

Anyway, with that out of the way, the next chapter is gonna be the start of exploring Keelhaul Key. In that chapter, Andrew finally wakes up, feeling refreshed and healthier after Goombella wakes him up, and Andrew finds out what happened to the S.S. Flavion and how they got to Keelhaul Key.

In addition to that, he finds out that all of his friends got here safely, including Vivian who pretty much saved his life for the second time.

Andrew also witnesses Flavio and Pa-Patch quarreling and feuding over what happened the night of the shipwreck, Pa-Patch calls Flavio something that sets off the latter, and Andrew sees the Embers for the first time and has to dispatch of them with his friends. And a few other stuff will occur. How will things go for everyone on Keelhaul Key? Find out next time, readers!

For now, only if you want to, you can leave a review and let me know what you thought about this chapter.

Otherwise, I have nothing else to say here. So until next time, I hope you all look forward to the remainder of Chapter 5. And on that note, thanks again for reading, everyone!
