Chapter 9
Final Fall
Leon couldn't help but stare in anger at what he saw…he failed…he failed his friend…she was dead but he would never let her win like this. Raynare was just about to place the twilight healing into her own soul but that was not going to happen.
"Casey, Go now!" Leon shouted
Wasting no time the Beast Ranger then speed across the room at a rapid speeds thanks to his cheetah power and no one had the speed to catch him. Then right at the split second before the rings of Twilight Healing could touch Raynare's skin, Casey then snatch the rings from her in one swoop and screeching to halt. Once Raynare noticed that the Sacred Gear was no longer in her hands she frantically searched around for the silver rings, not wanting to give up the prize she worked so hard to have but to her shock and horror she saw Casey holding the rings in his hand.
"Sorry crow but these don't belong to you" Casey said, making Raynare shout with absolute fury and formed a spear in her hand.
"GIVE ME THOSE BACK!" Raynare shouted
She reared her hand back to throw the spear but she was then sent flying off the pyramid structure, the one responsible for this was Leon, shooting in her in back with his blaster.
"Casey, grab Asia now!" Leon barked out, Casey nodding in understanding
Casey then cut the chains hanging Asia up, causing her to drop right into Casey's arms, causing said Ranger to dash down the stairs to the others. Quickly, Casey put Asia in Issei's arms and placed her sacred gear in his hand.
"Get her out of her now Issei!" Leon shouted pointing up the stairs
"…thank you" Issei said as turned and rushed up the stairs
The exorcists in the room then charged at the group, all with the intent to kill them all but the devils and Rangers held them all back, giving Issei time to escape. Once the Pawn of Gremory was gone, everyone else engaged the group of exorcists causing bullets and laser blasts to fly across the room, easily knocking out one exorcist after another. They had almost thinned out the group until a certain crow screeched to the high heavens and flew into the air, looking down with murder in her eyes. Raynare then set her eyes on Leon, causing said Ranger to meet her gaze with silent fury.
"So what do you say Raynare, round three?" Leon said
He then pressed his belt buckle and summoned his Street Saber, getting himself in battle stance just as Raynare summoned her light spear. Then without wasting a single beat Raynare then charged at Leon with a shrill scream as Leon charged at her, causing there weapons to clash.

Back outside, the three other fallen angels were fighting with Akeno and the other two rangers, with Akeno fighting against Kalawarner, Arron against Mittelt and Michael against Dohnaseek. The three angels then sent out their light spears at the group but Michael blasted them all out of the sky with his morpher.
"Ugh! Why don't you all just die!?" Dohnaseek shouted in anger
"Deal with it, it's just how we are" Michael said twirling his morpher on his finger
"You can't keep this up forever" Kalawarner said
"Want to bet" Arron said, pulling out his morpher which suddenly enlarged in his hand, "Michael, time to break out the big guns" he said, making Michael pumped
"Finally, I was itching to do this!" Michael said pulling out a dino charger from his belt
"Dino Charger Ready!" Michael said clicking his charger
Akeno was about to jump in to help but Rias held her back, confusing the Queen.
"Hold on Akeno, I want to see this" Rias said, curious about their allies
Michael then slotted the charger into his morpher and slammed the jaws shut.
"T-Rex Charger, Engage!"
Michael then placed the morpher on his left arm and dragged his morpher along the length of it, spinning the chamber has he dragged it making it spark with red energy.
"Dino Steel, Armor on!"
Once he reached the end of his arm suddenly silver spiked armor plates appeared on his arm and in his hand was what looked like the head of T-Rex.
"Battle Morpher, Bow mode!"
Arron then twisted the morpher around causing blades to spring out from the top and bottom and the back end extended out. Arron then pulled back on cord of the morpher until letting go and letting an energy arrow fly. Seeing this the fallen angels then dodged out of the way of the attack well most of them anyway since Mittelt didn't move fast enough as was blasted out the sky and fell to the ground.
"Mittelt! You will pay for that!" Dohnaseek shouted and charged the ninja Ranger
But before he could reach his target he was then blocked off by Michael, who jumped at him with his t-rex fist drawn back.
"Try this! T-Rex Smash!" Michael shouted as he thrusted his fist forward
The T-Rex head then slammed hard into the male fallen angel's stomach, causing the air to be pushed right out of his lungs and for him to be sent flying into a tree which caused the large trunk to crack in half from the attack.
"How dare you, you think those little toys can stop us!?" Kalawarner shouted forming a spear in her hand
"This might will, Claw Mode!" Arron shouted catching the fallen angel off guard
Arron's morpher now was being held over his hand and now sported to curved blades on the top and bottom of the star. With Kalawarner slightly startled for a brief moment Arron then struck the claw into to her stomach area, causing sparks to fly from contact and causing her to go flying into the distance.
Mittelt then got up from the ground, all be it painfully. Once she saw that both her allies were hurt she then growled angrily and formed two spears in her hands.
"That's it everyone dies!" she shouted causing the Rangers to get ready for an attack
But before the fallen angel could even make a move, she was then struck by lightning on the spot causing her to scream in pain until falling over on her face. Turning around, both Rangers were met with a blushing Akeno and her fingers covered with electricity.
"Sorry boys, but I was just dying to get some punishment of my own in~~" she said licking her fingers seductively causing the Rangers to blush and Rias to sigh in slight embarrassment
"You are one freaky women Akeno, you know that?" Michael said making said girl giggle in response
"Maybe when this all over we should reenact what happened to the dinosaurs, I heard some died to lightning~~" Akeno said causing Michael to stiffen up in fear
"Yeah, I'm going to pass" Michael replied quickly
Unfortunately they didn't have much time to rest since the fallen angels were getting back up on their feet, causing everyone to get back into battle position.
"I hope the others are having better luck then us?" Michael said

Back in the church both Raynare and Leon were still locked in battle against one another, clashing their weapons again and again, causing sparks to fly from each impact.
"I'll destroy you!" Raynare shouted with fury slashing at Leon but said Ranger then back flipped from the attack and landed on his feet
"Sorry to disappoint you but that's not going to happen" Leon said and charged right at Raynare with full force
Leon then clashed again with Raynare again, now finding them in test of strength against one another with both sides not giving up the fight. It wasn't until Leon then twisted her spear out her hand with a twist of his sword that the struggle ended, allowing the RPM Ranger to get a hit on the fallen angel sending her careening into the air. However Raynare then caught herself in midair with her wings and started to form multiply light spears around her, firing them all at Leon as the Ranger knocked them to the side with his sword.
"Do you relized what you have done?! You just couldn't just leave me alone could you?!" Raynare shouted, still firing spears, "I broke so many rules, disobeyed so many orders I even betrayed my leader to get that power, then you ruined everything!" she shouted, anger taking over her voice
Leon then slashed Raynare's last spear, splitting it down the middle and the two pieces exploding behind him, all while Leon glared hatefully at Raynare behind his visor.
"You tortured that girl; you forced into a life she never wanted and when the time came you killed her without a second thought! How expect me to be okay with that!?" Leon shouted in fury
Leon then planted his sword into the ground beside him and looked Raynare in the face as Raynare stared back at him.
"You used to be an angel once, how could you do this to someone who looked up to people like you for guidance…why?" Leon asked
For a brief moment, only for a second, but right in Raynare's eyes was a brief moment of sadness but it was gone soon after as returned Leon's glare
"She would have died either way…I was just speeding up the process" Raynare replied at last, causing Leon's hand to tighten
"You know…now I'm starting to see why heaven kicked you out"
That did it, once those words left Leon's mouth Raynare then lost it and created a much larger spear in her hand.
"DIE!"
She then threw the spear at Leon, fully intending to kill him but Leon then started to rev-up his tires on his arms and legs, causing them to spin faster and faster until the headlights on Leon's helmet then light up in a display of light. Leon then burst forward in a huge display of speed with his body letting off waves of red energy, sliding across the ground as if like a roadway.
"BURST ATTACK!"
Leon then accelerated faster; leaving behind a red streak in his wake, in fact the speed was so great that it knocked the spear off course and sent it flying into the far wall. Raynare saw this and tried to escape the literal bullet coming at her but just as she unfurled her wings it was already too late, Leon slammed right into her with his shoulder with the impact of a high speeding car sending her flying into the air and through the ceiling.
Coming to a full stop Leon couldn't help but look up at the hole that Raynare left and be sad if slightly. He knew what he saw before he attacked, something he thought he would never see on Raynare's face…sadness.
"I guess a small bit of angel is still in her somewhere" Leon said
Looking behind him, Leon saw the others had finished the other exorcists as evident by the unconscious bodies around them. Seeing as there were no more enemies left Kiba, Koneko and Casey looked up at the hole that Raynare left behind while Casey winced realizing what Leon did.
"Dang man, she is going to be sore after this" Casey said getting a smirk from Koneko all be it a small one.

Back outside, the Rangers and Akeno were still in combat with the remaining Fallen Angels and Rias' team defiantly had the edge.
"So ready to give up?" Michael asked
But of course the angels were far from done as they shakily got back to their feet, armed with their spears.
"Ara ara, you three can sure take a lot of punishment~~~" Akeno said in husky voice, again freaking the two Rangers out
"This pain is nothing, nothing compared to the pain that lady Raynare will give to your little friends" Dohnaseek said
"Especially that poor excuse of a boyfriend she had" Mittelt laughed as well as everyone else
The three angels then flew into the sky and threw their spears, causing Akeno to throw up a barrier to protect the three of them but to their shock the spears went over their heads…they were heading for Rias!
"Rias look out!" Arron and Akeno shouted
But to everyone's surprise the spears bounced right off Rias and broke as if they were just twigs. Rias then looked up at the three fallen angels and in her eyes was pure hate and fury, fury that allowed her to gain the title of Ruin Princess of Destruction.
"No one makes fun of my servants…no one" she slowly said, her power flaring up around her causing the wind and rocks to be flung in all directions
"Uh oh, you made Prez mad, you should've have done that~~" Akeno giggled
Then with a flick of her wrist, Rias unleashed her power of destruction and eradicated the three fallen in an instant, leaving nothing but black feathers to fall to the ground. Now that the threat was gone Akeno lowered the barrier around them and revealed the outside world to them all and Rias had calmed down thus subduing her power.
"Well now that is over why don't we check up on Issei and the rest shall we?" Rias asked walking to the church all while the Ranges looked dumbfounded by what they witnessed.
"Arron?" Michael said getting the ninja's attention, "Let's never make her mad okay?" he asked as Arron nodded in turn
"Agreed" Arron replied back as he and Michael caught up with the two buxom women

Back in the church Leon and the rest came back up the stairs to see Issei standing in the middle of the room and a huge hole in one of stained glass windows in the room. It didn't take long to figure out that Issei had his confrontation with Raynare and had punched the ever loving crud out her and sent her flying out of the church, evident by the now dragon like gauntlet on Issei's arm.
"So…what did we miss?" Leon joked slightly
Issei then turned to the others, panting heavily as he did most likely from exhaustion and pain if the holes in his legs were an evident by this.
"Just, had to break up with my girlfriend" Issei replied flashing them a thumbs-up as Leon returned it
Suddenly the front door of the church burst open and out of the entrance was Rias, Akeno and the other two Rangers right behind them.
"Hey, anyone lose this?" Michael said holding up a battered and beaten Raynare by her ankle until dropping her on the floor.
Soon enough everyone gathered around the fallen angel while Rias stood over her as Raynare weakly looked up at the red head above her.
"So your Raynare huh, nice to meet you at last I'm Rias Gremory" she said shocking Raynare
"Gremory?! You've got to be kidding me!" Raynare shouted in fear
"Now I must let you know I don't take kindly to people who intrude in my territory and defiantly people who mess with my servants" Rias said giving the fallen a stern stare
As for the others, Leon then looked down at Issei's arm and just as he expected Issei's sacred gear had truly awakened.
"Nice look there Issei, got an upgrade I see" Leon said catching Issei's attention
"Oh yeah when I was fighting her, my arm just changed" he said examining his new arm
Rias then looked down at Issei's new arm and couldn't help but let a grin appear on her face, after all she knew what that gear was and so did Leon.
"It's called the Boosted Gear, one of the thirteen Longinus, one of the few sacred gears that can surpass even God and Satan" Rias explained, causing the color to drain from Raynare's face
After all who could blame her, everything she did had gone horrible wrong, killing Issei…came back with a freaking Longinus, tried to get the twilight healing…beaten by a human…everything she had done has failed.
Going to her knees she then hung her head low as her hair hid her face from the others all while Rias stood over her, power of destruction a flame in her hand.
"So any last words Fallen Angel?" Rias asked, waiting for what the fallen will do but one person knew
'Here it is…her last attempt to live and scared Issei' Leon thought waiting for what will happen
Pretty soon Raynare will turn back into Yuma and try to convince to Issei not to let Rias kill her but it will fail and she will die, at least that's what Leon thought until Raynare looked up at Rias and shocking Leon was her face held…regret.
"No…I have none to say, I gave up everything, my position, my friends even my loyalty to my master and for what…so I can stand out" Raynare said face full of despair and again regret and not fake regret…real regret, "I killed someone who considered me their lover…killed a child of God…I deserve to die" She said hanging her head low
Leon couldn't believe what he heard Raynare say and the way she said, she truly saw what saw was wrong and realized her folly and she was willing to die for it. And he wasn't the only one, all the other Rangers were surprised by this even Issei the most, after all they just saw something that no one expected to happen…Raynare had changed.
"Very well then fallen one your wish will be…" Rias said until Leon then grabbed her shoulder causing her to stop
"Rias wait…don't kill her!" Leon said shocking the devils
"What? Why, she is our enemy and needs to dealt with accordingly, why not kill her?" Rias asked crossing her arms at the Ranger, glare intense and hard
But Leon was undeterred as he took off his helmet and looked Rias straight in the eye with same intensity as she was giving him.
"Because…she regrets what she did"
Leon then turned from Rias to Raynare, who still on her knees, thus Leon got on one knee to be eye level with Raynare causing the fallen angel to look up at him with surprise and confusion.
"Why? Why would you stop her, I thought you hated me?" Raynare asked
"Because, it maybe be my job to protect the innocent…but it's also my job to see the good in people and bring them back from the dark, like many Rangers of the past have done" Leon replied as he placed a hand on her shoulder and looked her straight in the eye, "So tell me this Raynare…do you truly regret what you have done because if you do I'll take you with me and bring you back to the light again"
At first Raynare said nothing…just kept silent, everyone tense for her answer…until her eyes then shed a small amount of tears before turning into a flood of thankfulness of happiness causing her to jump at Leon and hug herself into his chest while crying to her hearts content.
"YES! I WANT TO BE SAVED!" she yelled out in tearful voice of sadness
And with those words Leon then wrapped her arms around the fallen angel and gave her tight hug all while she cried into his chest.

A day after the church attack, a lot of things had happened since then, for one Asia was resurrected into a devil and was now Rias' bishop in her household. As for Raynare she was now a third year student of Kouh thanks to some help from Rias and a new member of the Rangers home. Strangely however when they brought the Fallen Angel to their home Kuro was not so happy to meet her at all even scratching her a few times. But right now the Rangers plus Rayanre were celebrating Asia's induction in the household of Gremory and during this Asia actually forgave Raynare and wanted to consider the fallen a friend now much to everyone's surprise but what do you expect from the nun of God.
Currently everyone was eating cake and enjoying each other's company, even Raynare joined in the fun but kept close to Leon during the event. During the celebration Raynare asked Leon to talk with him privately and thus the Fallen Angel took the RPM Red Ranger aside out of the room to talk.
"So what did you want to talk about?" Leon asked
"I just wanted thank you…for giving me a second chance" she said as Leon smiled at her
"Just doing my job, and don't worry you'll be great I know it" Leon said making Raynare blush slightly
Leon was then about to go back in the room with the others until suddenly Raynare then wrapped her arms around the Ranger's neck and before he knew it she then planted a kiss on his cheek making Leon freeze in his steps.
"Just a little reward to the hero that saved me~~" Raynare said before heading inside
As for Leon he just stood their…figuring out what had happened in that moment…brushing the cheek that Raynare kissed until one thought came to his mind.
'What in the name of Zordon just happened?!'
