So here we have the TMNT meet the Rescue Heroes
The Turtles took Chanchalla to April's apartment so they could make the call because they couldn't call Jake with a Shell Cell.
Don took the card and dialed the number, when he heard the phone ringing he handed it to Challa.
Then she heard Jake say "Hello?"
"Jake?" Challa said
"Oh hey Chanchalla." Jake said "How are you?"
"I want to meet your fellow Rescue Heroes." Challa said "Also...Can I bring along my...Hosts?"
"You mean the Turtles?" Jake asked "Sure I'd love to meet them!"
Hearing this, Leo took the phone "You know of us?" He asked
"It's kind of hard to ignore all the times you revealed yourselves during the various disasters." Jake replied "I'm sorry about what we did to your friend, but you must understand you Mutants are kind of in a legal gray area, we'd like to help with getting intelligent animals civil rights but you don't do yourselves a lot of favors by getting involved in gang violence and actually killing people."
After the call, Jake told the rest of his fellow Rescue Heroes, "So Chanchalla has called me back, so we can figure out what's going on."
They had been going over the recordings of the interview they could hear the human voices clear as day, but whenever Challa spoke on the video, they didn't hear English they heard some sort of horrible bleating voice that sounded like a horrible mash up of sheep and human and none of it sounded remotely like English, before Jake felt she had been speaking in perfect English but with a Slight...Turkish Accent, the best he could describe it as Turkish.
The next day, they took Challa, the Turtles and Splinter on their Hyperjet.
"We're approaching the Rescue Heroes HQ's secret Location..." Jake said
"It's Canada." Don said irritably "Everyone with a brain can figure out your HQ's location is in Canada, even without taking into mind your leader is from Quebec, seeing pictures of the HQ you can infer from the surrounding era it's clearly some sort of temperate zone..."
"All right, all right." Jake said "So it's not so secret! But that aside I'm really grateful you've decided to come and meet us, perhaps this can help bridge the gap so we can campaign for Mutant Animal Rights!"
The Turtles looked at each other skeptical of the possibility.
Upon reaching the HQ, the rest of the Team introduced themselves, in particular Ariel Flyer was amazed to be finally seeing Intelligent Mutant Animals in person.
"We've been re-watching the footage of the interview." Said the Scientist Pat Pending "We've come across an unexpected difficulty."
They showed the Turtles the footage and they heard the sound. The Turtles cringed
"That actually sounds like what she sounded we first met her, then Splinter went with her to meditate and then we understood each other..." Don stopped to think "...I think this means she isn't speaking English, we're just hearing English, some sort of translation spell was performed, she hears us in her language...It doesn't work on the security camera because machines don't have minds and therefore can't be affected by the spell!"
So the revelation of what happened when Krilarah gave Chanchalla and the Turtles the ability to understand each other is revealed! Also why she sounds 'Turkish' I was told on the Forum that Nilam's is culturally the equivalent Constantinople in the Byzantine Empire which is now modern day Turkey so Turkish is the closest equivalent accent
