So realized while the crew is making their way from Point A to Point B if nothing else this lull between story points can be used for just some more exposition on Dardunah.

After that Challa and Leo were pretty quiet and tried to avoid each other, they didn't want to raise any suspitions, especially around Aneka!

As they continued their journey to Tishnia, Seven-Scars talked to them about the things they brought with them from Earth that they had tried, in particular he was fasniated by an an aluminum cola can!

"This crystal...Is unlike anything I have ever seen!" He said feeling the delicate aluminum with his claws "I was thinking about making this my new favorite goblet for drinking..."

"And I told him...That's not a good idea because you can't get inside those cans to wash them..." Don said

"...So I will be content to keep this forever as one of my treasures..." Seven-Scars said

They could all see Mikey was struggling not to laugh, not only because Seven-Scars was treasuring a piece of trash that people recycle for some spare change but because his specifically treasuring a soda can was reminding Mikey so much of the classic film 'The Gods Must Be Crazy'

"So..." Challa said "...How did you find the drink?"

"It was very strange at first..." Seven-Scars said "...The bubbles going up your nose..."

"That's part of the thrill." Challa chuckled

Aneka snorted "How undignified!"

"As I seem to recall..." Challa said "...When you discovered the bag of potato chips, you couldn't stop eating until you had finshed the entire bag!"

Aneka blushed realizing he had revealed how hungry he was because the Janah who had bought him had been starving him as part of his many punishments for not being an obedient slave!

Challa thought about the chips they had brought, the chips Aneka had ate had been plain ruffled potato chips, Challa new Leo's favorite flavor was sea salt and vinegar which she thought were absolutlely disgusting, more for him then, the flavor she liked the most was sour cream and onion, which they didn't bring because Earth cream doesn't taste like Suthra cream, Janah would ask why this 'sour cream' tasted so different and she didn't want to explain it came from cows.

Later that night as they were parked for the night, Challa was sitting in the grass looking up at the night sky, all four of the Turtles came and sat down with her.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Mikey asked "You look like you're thinking about something..."

"I was just thinking..." Challa said "...About what I learned from my time with you...That you are great heroes, yet you are still brothers, you act as family will act, which is to say not always ideally..."

The Brothers were quiet not quite sure what to make of that.

"And it just gets me thinking...About the heroes I've read about in our history books..." Challa said "...In the stories they are always portrayed as these perfect figures and I suppose that makes sense for some figures like the Blessed Twins who were supposed to be incarnations of Kramah and Krilarah so they weren't like normal Janah, but then I think about the Five Talons of Kramah and I wonder if they never argued and bickered over who got the last dessert, although Jvalah having no sense of taste might make that..."

"Whoa! Whoa!" Mikey said "No sense of taste?!"

During her time in the lair, Challa had mentioned bits and pieces about heroic figures of Dardunah, of the Blessed Twins and the Talons both were key figures in the Twilight Wars

"Oh!" Challa said "I forgot to mention that every Talon in exchange for the great gift they were given had to lose something precious Kahraman the Tiger in exchange for weilding Kramah's roar had lost his own beautiful voice Jvalah the Golden Eagle in weilding the light of the suns like twin blades her mouth had become so filled with the blood of her enimies that she had lost her sense of taste, the Jackal Pundárikam, he had lost all his fur and his skin became hard and cracked and he lost his sense of touch, Nipúna the Mongoose in exchange for bringing down the lightning had lost her sense of hearing and Badhrah the Cheetah while she became blind in the real world, it was said her eyes pierce through the dream to see the world in indiscrible ways!

The Turtles became very still and quiet from hearing all this, Mikey inparticular because even though he dreamed of having super powers he didn't want to lose one of his mundane senses to gain them. The Turtles thought about the Ninja Tribunalthey remembered it as they had given up all wordly longings to become forces of nature unto themselves for Hisomi it wasn't that he couldn't speak it's that he wouldn't but here it seemed that the price of such power was severe indeed!

"Man," Mikey said "Just thinking about that, I mean...I know I can be a bit of a Pig..." He then remembered where he was "...Uh, no offense to any actual Pigs..." (Hopefully they were far enough away from everyone else that nobody heard that) "But thinking if it was me and...Man I wouldn't want to give up any of my senses, not being able to listen to music on my walkman, not being able to read my comics, see the TV or any of the sights..."

Raph quipped about how he'd like if he lost his voice, and Leo and Don quickly said that even if Mikey could be annoying sometimes they didn't want him to be rendered completely mute...

Challa smiled this was what she was talking about, the Turtles with their flaws felt so much more real than the heroes of history as she had read about them, they didn't seem like real Janah in the stories...

So from reading the World Guide learned much more about the Talons and what each one gave up in exchange for their superpower, I knew in the Basic Compendium it was mentioned Badhrah was blind and in one piece of artworld was labeled 'Legendary Hairless Jackal'
