Summary/Disclaimer: Time for another chapter of A Lingering Ember. Enjoy the 6800-word chapter. I don't own RWBY, Monty Oum, and Rooster Teeth dos.

(Mistral.)

After the fight, Trivia dragged Ollie to a corner of the camp to the tent of one of the soldiers they had defeated. The crown soldiers could and she seemed to be able to relax once more.

She was undecided on every single little option on her mind when it came down to it, they were unable to relax once more before she was finally able to relax for good.

He could feel she hadn't, not even a little when it came down to it, the end inside her hurt more and more and she was able to rationalize it for a moment and she could not see an end without fighting.

There was a ping of fear in her as she hummed and looked at him even if he could not stare back the same way.

She reached out for his hand and he accepted her small dainty hand even as he knew every day his hands grew more calloused and worn from battle and the conditions around them.

"I ain't going anywhere anytime soon, Triv," Ollie said before she clenched his hand tighter.

He wanted to say something, anything as she clenched his hand. It was so tight he felt she was going to break her hand in the process, was she so fearful that she'd lose him if he let go for even a second?

He worried for her just as much as he worried about himself. He knew how to survive out here because he was used to putting himself first for the most part. This? This was new ground for him.

He sighed and sat down, pulling the wraps away from his damaged eyes. He was all too unsure and undecided for now, unable to relax before he seemed to think once more as he crossed his arms, letting her lean on his shoulder, her smaller than him and feeling more like a doll than a person.

There was then a tremor then something else like this and she knew more and more it was odd to him. it was so odd that it burned and hurt over and over again like a fire that charred his flesh.

Then again? All of it was odd to him, something he couldn't at all fathom nor understand, all of it felt more and more weird and unfathomable as she checked off her options, convinced only in what was coming and going for now that it was all a dream. What if she managed to do something? it'd all come crashing down

The nightmarish identity when it comes down to it her father didn't help to not make him scream.

Who was her father? Why was he so abusive to her? Why was she being hunted? A true love for his daughter or was she property, a toy? A small amount of bargaining when it came down to it now.

The idea cut through his mind like a blade, dicing up every single little maddening idea he had on his mind as he looked downwards at the ground.

She settled against him, curling up like a ball, a toy to which he found it to be able to relax once more and more unsettling for now.

All of it seemed to be able to relax once to try and relaxed once more, he seemed to find it more and more amused as he seemed unable to fathom it.

He had a lot more upon his brain than this, a desire that warmed his soul, his heart itself.

Trivia hummed and leaned forwards, unable to think, to look upon it all with some tired resignation for now. Ollie knew he could not dislodge Trivia nor would he, the desire for her to find warmth and comfort was easily twice that of what he had been dealt.

What he had been present for… All such roads off this should have been addressed. All of his life seemed to be a damn joke for now and it was utterly maddening at the moment.

"You know we're being hunted until the end of the road… Not just because we're going to need to be, what with us stealing everything and all that…" Ollie stated before he hummed to himself.

"They're going to be mad at us, really mad at us, something that honestly is bugging me to believe I accepted it," Trivia said to which she had fallen so silent.

It was sobering to know not even a squeak passed her lips, not one he could hear for now… It was odd, unsure, and uncertain… But a better plan? Well, he was present but it gained them nothing, nothing but time and wasted energy.

He doubted himself as she snuggled up, resting on the ground as he seemed to find balance amongst it all.

"You can still run, you know… Escape. Get out of here and pretend your someone else. I could make up some story about how my friend screwed me over and you get away to some deserted island." Ollie said before she rapped him on the face.

"Why stick your neck out for me? I'm a nobody, gutter trash. Nobody is going to care when I die and I'm probably going to die here." Ollie said to which there was a frown as she shook her head.

No? Yes, he would and could be like this. It was not going to end the way he wished it to be, he would not be getting out of this life with all his limbs intact or such. They'd gut him, they'd rip him to bloody pieces, and even an idiot as he knew very…

She placed a hand, a gentle, dainty one on his chin and made him tilt his head down at her. All of it only told him that she was lying to deal with it all.

She nuzzled into him like a scared child… Which she was. She was not some stone-cold soldier to whom she could and would be able to kill everything.

She was simply a warrior in the wrong place and time, unsure and uncertain for the time being, and who would come down to it.

All of it was something that he could and would deal with. He clicked his tongue and felt her rest against his side once more.

"You're my friend, dum dum." Trivia signed, tossing her gloves into the depths of the tent.

"Doesn't mean you should value me over the rest of your life. I don't last when it comes down to it." Ollie said as he sighed and looked downwards. "What I do know? You are going to worry a lot more because of the plan? We aren't going to be leaving without hurting them all." Ollie said as he looked down at the ground.

It wasn't a lie as she leaned against him. He planned to fight his way out, loading the cargo onto the nearest bullhead and more or less hoping the autopilot could help to carry them away.

Trivia yawned, a sight he could not see with his dull eyes, and yet he could feel her relax, falling to the ground in a small ball as she kicked off her boots. Ollie rolled his eyes at the sound of her comforting herself for now once more.

"You go to sleep. It's kind of hard for me to sleep considering… I can't exactly close my eyes and see myself drifting off when it was all said and done. I don't think it's something I usually need to deal with, but it's a living." Ollie said as he decided to lie down and relax.

The rest of the monstrous ideas when it came down to it? well, it wouldn't relax, he wouldn't be able to resist fighting them even if he wanted them. The last time he had done a job against the crown?

It ended with far more deaths and a lot more people for now as he looked downwards at the ground.

He sighed to himself as he realized the war against his enemies would consume them and consume them well and good, he had nothing but time and effort to apply herself now and forever.

All such measures had been completed and all nightmares had been running through his brain. What else he could figure out? Well, he had something else to deal with and this was one of those issues.

How did he get them both out? Last mission he had to be able to fight and kill but it had been just him more and more against the monstrous wall, now? He was leading someone into a fight, he had to fight to survive for now and it wasn't going to end anytime soon.

No, not as long as he lived and not as capable as he had been for now. it was a nightmare he had to figure out.

It hurt but it was making sense for now, at least to a degree. He had to keep the train moving, even if he could have to keep it going himself for now and forever at the same time over and over.

If for no other reason than he had to try and figure out more and more when it comes down to it, an idea that was too odd when it came down to it. The idea of it all ground him up again and again.

He didn't hate her at all and he didn't at all wish when it came down to it to hate her at all. He couldn't, not even for a damn second.

"You're scared, no?" He asked which garnered a nod from her. "Then I am more and more sorry, there is little I can do… I'll keep you company if you want, I'm just not going to sleep anytime soon," Ollie said before he sighed and rubbed at his temples.

"It's' not as easy as you think to sleep. Not when you constantly have to worry about failing, about coming so close that you want to scream, and then you don't because something it all falls apart." Ollie said as she elbowed him in the side.

Trivia sighed mentally and shrugged off her coat, kicking her boots to the side of the tent as well. It was all too much for her as she nestled into the side of her friend. Ollie was silent as he shook his head and pulled up the collar of his coat, unsure and uncertain of their next move.

He was scared, he'd not damn lie to himself as Trivia pulled herself into him, her lithe frame reminding him that she was far shorter than him at any singular rate, it was obvious to him that if anything came down to it.

Dying out here wasn't a plan, it wasn't a damn anything. It was a nightmare to the depths and a nightmare he couldn't even pretend otherwise, for now. Well?

He didn't at all know, he was unsure of his own goal, a path he had chosen well in advance, damn near all the time. It was driving him mad with anger and grief to a path he had all too well walked down again and again.

She always seemed to dominate his mind. Granted? She was the only one he could focus on for now but it was so odd of him to constantly need to remind himself that she was here.

She snuggled up to him one final time, reminding him that both of them shared the same path even as he walked down the road that he had been thrown for a loop.

She had not been willing to back down from walking the road beside him and he had not been willing to worry about it. it Now? He was terrified, truly more and more thrown for a damn curve and it made him want to SCREAM knowing it.

"We're going to die sooner or later, you know. For too long we're going to die, I'm scared too if you want me to be honest. I don't know where the hell we are and I didn't at all know." Ollie said with a sigh.

Well, that was entirely a lie and he knew it, entirely one he didn't entirely fathom.

He had a plan, one where he could get out of here as he seemed to try and figure out when it came down to it.

He had a lot more to try and figure out as he seemed to try and figure out while he clicked his fingers together. They had time, a lot more time to plan… But that didn't at all mean time to relax. He couldn't take it easy as he seemed to try and figure it out once more.

They would get out of this; he would allow himself to relax. The nightmares he could only dream of for now how well to get out of this nightmare once more.

Who was this lady? Who the hell had she been before they crossed paths? How often it seemed they would, making sure they had been inseparable.

He'd kill anyone who tried to hurt her, these pieces of trash, the old man she appeared to want to kill her… And yet he didn't know why. He had no idea at all what was going on, something that could only be answered with time and effort.

"You should know we're probably going to die on the battlefield, these guys are… Why the hell am I repeating myself?" Ollie asked as he sighed and looked downwards at the ground.

There was something else on his mind drawing him back to this point and he believed he knew why. It was a simple question: WHERE DID THEY GO NEXT?

Where? He didn't at all know what his friend would do with his ill-gotten goods, the Crown was sure to go after them, not expecting a middleman at all. He could easily sell them out and pretend he was innocent.

Or they could kill him and then come after both him and Trivia. They had no reason to keep a conman alive and they didn't want to tarnish their legacy, making it easy to forget to cut it all down.

"We have to keep going, the sooner we get that over and over? Well, we get to sleep well… Sleep well, Triv. In the morning? We got a lot of damn people lining up to be our enemies and our friends… It's not going to be easy, not even for a second." Ollie said as he sighed and tried his best to close his eyes.

It was weird to see when one couldn't. normally he heard people saw black, the darkness, the end of the road for the day… He saw nothing and it was clear he saw nothing with his eyes closed. He could tie a thousand blindfolds over his eyes and still come out on top of it with his eyes closed.

What the hell was going on? What was he going to be able to do when it came down to it at the moment, a desire to be beyond this for now? They had a lot more to do in the morning if this lasted and if they weren't all killed when they got out of her.

Perhaps it would be better if nothing at all made sense, if something beyond what needed to be dealt with for now, it was going to be harder and harder at the moment to try and survive in this damn camp knowing what was coming.

He had his plans at the end of the day. Something about this place bothered him, unsure and uncertain for now… Whatever he could or would fathom though seemed to be odder and odder as time went on.

"You know we're probably going to be fugitives because of this?" Ollie asked. "I'm telling you now, we will be," Ollie said as she shrugged and snuggled closer.

He didn't doubt the Crown wouldn't try to kill them pure of fury for now. They had a lot more to try and deal with, the Crown, his friends probably double-crossing them the second they had what they wanted, and the corrupt police in town whom he thinks worked for her father.

Yep, lot of enemies. Destroying the Crown to him wasn't just freeing some people from their yoke of oppression, it was a removable object that had to be dealt with before.

"I swear if Maroon screws us? I'm telling them where he is going before I die… At least then he'll be the one dying with us." Ollie muttered as he sighed.

"Triv? I get your family was probably a bunch of assholes who don't know anything except power… But do you miss anything about home?" Ollie asked before clearing his throat

"There's a lot of bad things at your home I'd guess, but home is usually home, ain't it? I barely remember it; I can still recall some of it. I'm blind, not completely unable to remember." Ollie said as he hummed.

He sighed, pulling the collar of his coat over his face as he hummed to himself. He was oddly at peace, for now, they had something that could continue to be oddly weird.

This mission was weird, what he had to deal with was weird, whatever he had to fight next was weird… Yet? He felt he didn't care, perhaps he seemed to think he had gone insane for the time being.

Trivia was so weird, so odd, and yet she seemed like a flower amidst the hurricane, a flower he dealt with perfectly for now.

It was a nice flower that didn't at all seem to sway in the wind, again and again for the time being as he sighed to himself once again and again for now.

There was a lot more to see and do, something about it seemed to bother him purely and utterly. It made him wish to figure out everything.

Trivia yawned, a sound he didn't need to figure out with advanced hearing to notice… If it was anything other than personal for now.

"They had a lot more to try and figure out as of now," Ollie said before as he looked downwards at the ground.

"You know what's going on for now? This isn't going to be easy, but we are going to be fearsome for now. We fight tomorrow, and we're going through a lot of people." Ollie stated before he sighed and shook his head before he looked down at the ground.

"What we do next isn't… You're just going to need to keep going before it's all over… And I'm going to keep ranting like an idiot because I don't know what to do with it. After all, I don't see any way of ending it the way I should be." Ollie said as he sighed, ready to scream into the void, something that constantly seems to be bothering him for now.

They had a lot more to see as he felt they had more to do… And the irony of seeing the future was not lost on him.

"There's a lot of things, for now, I don't know what to say and do next for now, I can't predict it all for now and that bothers me, really does at the end of the day make me wish I didn't have training when it comes down to it," Ollie said as he hummed.

Ollie hummed to himself as he rubbed at his temples before he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth. Trivia hummed as she looked at him, bopping his nose as Ollie hummed and turned to look down at the ground… Well, turn his head in the direction of it for now.

Not being able to see something like this, the idea continued to amuse him more and more at the end of the day, a measure of mercy that he didn't have before. They kept growing more and more, a desire to become superior for now.

He'd not grow old of this team they had, a team they had a while to grow used to at the end of the day, he had a lot more as of the moment.

This was going to be fun and he was going to enjoy it as of the time being as he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth… They have a lot more to try and deal with, he sighed to himself.

He had a lot more to try and figure out at the day's end, they would come to blows with more than just their enemies, perhaps even their friends… Trying harder and harder to fight through the hell within himself.

If anything? He cut through it with a blade of mercy more than anything else, they had more and more to deal with than possible and all it did was bug him, cut him. No, someone would PAY, he would make them PAY if it was the last thing he possibly did.

Ollie felt Trivia lean back, falling on her side and bringing him with her. He could say nothing but did nothing in return, they would keep planning and growing.

He would not care, could not care for now at the end of the dance, this would go on for some time. Trivia typed something on her scroll, seeming to press a button that went upwards, and then looked down at the ground.

What might well be the best thing to do here? What might happen if they didn't work as a group? They'd die, then get thrown to the Grimm as food.

Perhaps that might not help anything more, perhaps he had to be better than before, perhaps he'd scream into some vapid void, perhaps he would see himself die.

Heh, see himself… His ability to see everything as some massive joke seemed to bug him and other times… Others? This wouldn't at all do.

Yes, it burned within him harshly and violently, making him ready to die. He didn't wish to yet it seemed the path he'd head down. it was only so long before they fell into the vat.

Perhaps it was something he could stomach, perhaps he could make a different plan. Yet? Taking down the entire Crown seemed the best option. He wasn't a hero and these weren't normal criminals. He had known what they could do.

"Triv? Your fine killing people like them? Because if my plan… Works? A lot of these people won't be walking away, not all of them are horrible but they are terrorists and I'm not ok with them finding us for a few reasons." Ollie asked to which she typed some more.

"I'll do what I have to." Her scroll said which he frowned upon.

"Don't… If you don't have to kill? Don't. We need to get the thing and leave; we aren't here for any other reason." Ollie said to which she hummed.

"Why?" She signed to which he hummed in response.

"Because you aren't a bad person and I am not… No?" He signed back as she shrugged. "We do not kill people we don't have to… Only kill people who are evil or deserve to be hurt." Ollie said as he sighed and looked downwards at the moment, something that considerably bothered him again and again.

It was odd enough for him to be here, helping someone he didn't know against forces against his control. However? He had little in the way of understanding for the time being.

All of this bothered him well more than usual for now, he didn't even know why but knew more and more it would keep bugging him for the time being at the end of the day.

He slumbered all the same, knowing what else inside his brain was pushed to shove, all of it became harder and harder.

What came next would be all too uglier when it came to being warriors. He was well aware he wasn't a saint at the end of the day, he was no Huntsmen that saved lives but he wasn't a terrible person who didn't care about anything or anything.

He felt the girl wrap her small calloused hands around him. She shuddered in the cold which made him sigh, he didn't pack a blanket, didn't pack ANYTHING for them besides the clothes on his back and his weapon.

It wasn't exactly like he knew what this would entail and he knew his 'friend' back at the Bazar was utterly incapable of caring because it wasn't like he knew what was going on and their health wasn't his problem. They were business partners, nothing more and nothing less.

Ollie didn't even want to know what was going on, he didn't want to know anything at the end of the day, something about it all, he didn't want to do anything.

Trivia yawned and finally seemed to settle into sleep, making certain that he was unable to once more, they had a very large amount of time to try and figure it all out. They would have nothing else to discuss for a time, a moment where they had it all figured out once again.

"Trivia? You know I don't want you to get hurt trying to do something good, right? I get that this mission is important but it ain't worth dying over." Ollie said as he sighed. "I get it, we owe him… I do, and part of me wants to punch him in the face for this… But it's my problem. This is always my problem; I always bite off stuff like this." Ollie said as he hummed and then looked downwards at the ground as he hummed once more at the ground.

He sighed, knowing that she was going to be like that for a longer time than possible, it had been oddly possible he felt himself becoming insane when it came down to it once more and more horrifying for now, all of it cut deep and hard, fighting and biting through him.

How was it so easy that he was hurt like this for now? How often was it that he had felt scared to be alone for now, they had a VERY large amount of peace to deal with for now?

They had a lot more to see and do, something that cut him to the quick as he could clearly understand it wasn't yet over at the end of the day.

Perhaps he was destined to do it because they knew that if they didn't? Well, they'd either be press ganged into the Crown. He would not at all trust them to be nice about letting them get into their group.

Nor did he wish to, not even for a few seconds of mercy for a few seconds… Every little measure of mercy bothered him, every little second of peace at the end of the day bothered him knowing that it came at the cost of a possible victory.

"You should know for a fact that this isn't the first time I've been in this sort of thing… I don't know what's going on but it's a lot worse off than my first time trying something like this." Ollie said. "That and the first time that I've been able to try and relax…. But I can't." Ollie said as he paused and looked downwards at the ground.

It wouldn't end anytime soon. He couldn't let the adventure end before he sighed, he wouldn't allow this to end rightfully. He would not end it for now as he clicked his fingers.

He had a lot more to it all than possible, something about it all seemed to keep building for now. How many soldiers would die tomorrow? He cracked his fingers and then leaned on the wall as he smiled.

(With Maroon)

Maroon wasn't stupid. He always gave himself an out, always making sure to try and figure something out if he was backed to the wall, something he had grown rather used to in life.

After all? Only a fool considered themselves beyond notice, beyond words… He? He was not one, he would always find someone to blame or someone to throw under the bus.

He was after all? A soldier, one who covered as far as he was concerned… Something else to try and figure out for now, it was a lot easier knowing he was betraying a criminal.

Well, thinking of doing it. Ollie was no saint but he was a good kid and he cared enough to try and do something to help. He had a lot more to try and figure out.

Ollie was a lot of things when it came down to it honestly, he was a lot more focused on trying to be the hero or help someone for the time being on the moment.

He clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth. The boy had heart… But he was stupid, very stupid enough to trust for now, and yet it seemed to try and figure out something for the end of the road.

He was a fool but a good fool and one which would continue to end for now. They had a LOT of work as soldiers and they were OH SO GOOD at being disposable pawns… If he wasn't a fool? He'd be better and he'd not be trusting.

Then again? Ollie wasn't stupid enough not to have a backup plan at the end of the day. He would always cover his bases, knowing a betrayal was coming and reacting to try and stop her at the end.

"He's good, but he's also stupid. He trusts, yet he won't trust blindly… Oh, I sometimes forget he's very good at his job. I can't believe this crap." Maroon said as he hummed and decided to ponder what to try and do next at the end of the day.

There was a very long amount of time, something that kept growing more and more, a measure of peace that would not allow such a measure of peace to grow beyond what it was for now.

He was a lot more at the moment as he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth, he would fall silent, utterly amused for now.

(With Ollie and Neo)

If there was to be any peace on Ollie's mind? it was washed away easily by the time he was quite relaxed… The time and effort put into it all? It was worth something that he could not deal with it oddly more and more.

They would not be able to deal with it all again and again. He knew more and more that such things were beyond him, completely unable to try with it all.

"What the hell am I doing?" Ollie muttered as sleep slowly started to fall asleep.

'She's not simply normal, nobody like this is too powerful to try and win as she does… She's a powerful warrior more than anything and yet? I don't know who she is. The woman has a lot more power than possible.' Trivia heard as she looked downwards to the ground.

There was something utterly banal in it all, something alien and minute about it all. There was just too much to try and figure out as he looked downwards at the ground… An odd feeling of darkness as he sighed and felt her yawn, a small feeling of amusement on her drowning out what was coming next.

She didn't know him but she knew herself once more… All such issues seemed to be slowly yet surely falling apart as he looked downwards at the ground.

Such problems would allow him to relax and such issues would not end for now, there were a lot of things he was unused to which he could only compare to at the end of the day.

'She's the thing, I fear… Not being strong enough, not being good enough to win. I can't fail this close to the damn finish line. If I do? Then it all falls apart, a lot of me falls apart when it came down to it again and again.' Ollie said, watching her nuzzle against his side.

He was a lot more to try and figure out, something about it all seemed to be odder and odder at the end of the day… There's a lot he could not figure out as of now, something that he could relax more and more as of the time being. Such issues that seemed to try and figure out as of now.

They had a lot more to try and figure while it came now when it came down to it at the end of the day, such things only bugged his mind at the moment… Such issues would allow him a measure of peace for no other reason than he knew her. He knew it all at the moment as he hummed, utterly concerned more and more in ways he would not allow for now.

Whatever came next? He wasn't going to allow it for now, it was just too terrible to recall and fix. However? He knew damn well he wasn't going to sell her out, he was too invested in such things to try and fix for now, and yet? He wasn't prepared for it.

He yawned as sleep continued to wash over him, reminding him just how odd it was for now… Such problems would continue that be odder and odder.

'Who is she? Who the hell is she? Because she's not normal. This girl isn't the child of a senator or council member. Not with combat training like this. It wasn't like I've run into her before.' Ollie thought as he sighed to himself.

(The next morning.)

Ollie would be remiss if he didn't get to laugh at this for now, something that would only stop amusing him for now as he glanced around the tent. He knew more or less that he had been able to relax and that he felt pain and pressure on him.

He sighed and looked around the tent before feeling where the pressure came from. Trivia yawned and curled around Ollie like an old-fashioned noose. It would be adorable if he knew he didn't have to get up and relax.

"Triv?" Ollie asked as he hummed and poked her gently on the head.

Trivia yawned and woke up, curling her hands like small little snakes as the woman seemed to only pause to think of what to try and figure out for now.

Ollie hummed as she slowly rolled backward and looked at him, tilting her head which she rested on his chest. He would not allow himself to relax once more as he hummed.

"You, ok?" Ollie said as he reached for the blindfold which nurtured his damaged eyes as he hummed.

"There's a lot of things that we need to get going… I don't know how long it's going to be… But I do know that this is going to be a very annoying day with these jackasses in the way." Ollie stated to which he sighed and looked downwards at the ground.

"There's a LOT more to try and figure out, you know… A lot of it is going to be tough… Like how we deal with these jackasses." Ollie stated as he hummed before he sighed to himself.

He would be ok for now, he was all too unsure of it all, and he was all too happy to see it die out entirely and completely. If for no other reason than his mercy? He'd probably destroy them all at the end of the day, something he would not lose sleep over again and again.

He would sigh to himself, prepared for nothing less than utter pain and destruction to it.

Ollie hummed, utterly scared for now… Something that he would be able to try and figure out what to try and hum to himself before he sighed. Ollie was grasped by it for now in a sort of being when it came down to it.

Ollie hummed to himself before cracking his fingers, covering his eyes as he clicked his fingers. She grabbed him in a way that only made him laugh to himself.

He guessed why he liked her; he could tell why and it made him laugh in no uncertain terms that it was nightmarish.

She had a very funny and amusing sense of humor, one which he could not and did not slow down upon. She was a very crafty and skilled woman who could cleave through, cutting into it like a knife into butter.

She was also gifted in the quip of snark and such mannerisms that it almost amused him to see her… No, seeing was a terrible phrase for someone to keep saying when they were gifted with… Less than stellar sight.

He liked how they communicated, to be honest. There were no words, no need to speak in that way in any manner, nor did they need so. They did so in a way that saw where eyes could not see, that could speak where words could not.

He hummed to himself before he clicked his fingers before he yawned, seeming to group upwards.

"You should know that we have to keep growing… And going and going… Can you come here for now?" Trivia heard as she nodded.

She slowly started to walk forwards before remembering that he could try and figure out what to try and figure out for now as she sighed to herself, her lungs capable of giving off some sort of sound when it came down to it.

Perhaps it was something that could keep growing more and more and more in waves and waves.

He gripped her hands upon hers, gripping her calloused fingers with one another, seeming to think before he spoke through the same ways and cuts that would only continue to sink into the ground.

"I trust you and I will protect you but I do know we're going to keep needing to try and fight through such a thing and such a thing is going to keep cutting us to pieces… And it won't keep bringing them to stop. There was a lot more to try and deal with." Ollie signed before he paused.

He knew damn well what was coming, the war that would consume the world and everything within it for now, something that was far beyond the pale.

It was a nightmarish thing in the way it came down to it and would be able to deal with it for now. He was a warrior and if he had to try and fight through it? He'd do it gladly and without remorse for now and for good at the moment.

"You trust me, right? I trust you, ok?" Trivia signed to which he frowned.

"I'm scared of you trusting me because I don't trust myself." Trivia heard as she tilted her head to the side before, she hummed and looked to the side. "I have been a thief and a criminal at times… I've been having to do some bad things to survive and I'm not…" Trivia heard.

They both heard the sound of guns and blades. Ollie hummed before he blinked, knowing that something that he was all too much of a warrior to back down with it for now… Something about it would fall apart, all too easily and all too real for now.

"You're in this no matter what I do, aren't you?" Ollie asked before she squeezed his hands. "Fine, I'm just annoyed you have to be involved in this… Your semblance disguises you, right?" Ollie asked as Trivia nodded.

She hummed before guessing that he wanted her to use her semblance. She damn well would if it was anything like what she had thought of what would happen next if anything.

She'd damn well get to work dealing with it as would them all for now, it would need to try and figure it out as of now.

This wasn't going to be something that would be dealt with for now as she looked to the ground.

"Pretend I'm a prisoner… Get us in the middle of them, then go nuts, ok? We're not taking any prisoners… At all, this isn't going to be something that we normally do, but we're taking something that couldn't be dealt with." Ollie said before he grabbed his weapon and set himself upright.

Author Note
